The Gods predate man. Their reign powerful, eternal and revered. But since the dawn of the Gods, there have always been those sworn to end Olympus. The golden throne, the seat of the righteous, king of the Gods, Zeus. It is the core of their world. Many seek to destroy it, dethrone Zeus and end the reign of the Gods.

Camp Athens, a safe place for demigods, children of the Gods. A place for them to live, grow and train. That was the intent. The demigods were never supposed to be the warriors for the Gods. Their parents wanted them to grow up safe from the world that threatens to end them. But the ruler of the Underworld, Hades, sought after the golden throne for himself, the demigods had no choice but to fight.

The campers faced many trials that tested them on levels far greater than they ever imaged. It was but the first day of the summer, demigods flooding into the camp, when a minotaur stormed its way through. A distraction while a son of Zeus, Ajax, was stabbed by an Underworld blade and poisoned. When things seemed to die down, it was only the quiet before the storm. Ajax was later taken prisoner by Hades, only set free when his soul was taken from him in exchange for a daughter of Hecate.

And all the while, when some of the most powerful demigods were nowhere to be found, the rest of the campers had to band together to take down their toughest foe… A Hydra. Then there was death… at the hands of a God and at the hands of a daughter of Zeus. It seemed, when at their weakest, Hades attacked.

The war. Something the demigods had been preparing for, but never thought would come. Giants and minions flooded their way onto the grounds of camp. The Gods stood side by side with their children in a fight for Olympus. It tested them more than anything had before… And in the end, they succeeded. But not without great loss. Wounded, weak and broken, the demigods came together victorious.

It’s been a year since that war. New demigods have found their way to the camp. The heroes of the war found ways to cope with their losses and train harder. Although the war is over, no one can rest. Something lurks in the distance, like a storm on the horizon. They don’t know what it is or when it will come… But they must be ready.

WIPs will not be accepted x / / x WIP tends to lead to people assuming they do not have to complete CS. So, due to that I will not accept a character until the CS is completely finished. It helps us and you to have a fully flushed out character before you post. Password 1 : Who was stabbed with an underworld blade?

Demigods x / / x There will only be two demigods per God. This keeps the number of characters at a balanced manageable level. Discussion could be made to potentially add another God, but we don't want to overload the RP. Also the deceased campers will remain, and prohibit the possibility of a new camper their place. Their life and death had significance in the first year of Camp Athens, and for other reasons it is necessary.

Reservations x / / x Reserving a character will be done through the OOC discussion board. All reservations must include the God/Goddess you intend as the parent, FC, how often you are online and average word count per post; along with the answers to the passwords. If you want more than one character you are welcome. But, if you would like to reserve both child of a single god you must ask. Depending on the circumstances it may not work for diversity's sake.

Character Guidelines x / / x Throughout the balancing of the characters, a good mix of male and female roles would be appreciated. That doesn't necessarily mean each God has a male and female child, but that throughout an even amount would help the RP be balanced. Ideally, FCs should look close to the age of your character. Abilities shall be taken from the provided list. If you are wanting your character to have an ability not listed, please contact me and we shall discuss it.

Inactivity x / / x Inactivity and ghosting is a plague in RPG. It seems people cannot stick to RPs for the life of them. I get it, life happens... It happens to all of us. But, we all want RPs to succeed. The first year of Camp Athens made it to the end, but by that day there was only 5 writers out of the numerous that were originally part of the RP. So, that being said, if life happens please just contact us and let us know, we are very understanding. If you're MIA from OOC, posting or PMs without explanation or word, we do reserve the right to write past your character if it's keeping us in limbo. I'd rather you back out of the RP versus disappearing. Password 2 : Which Demigods are deceased?

General Rules x / / x Violence, adult language and adult situations will happen so if you cannot handle that you may not want to join. I encourage romance, it’s fun and we all enjoy complicated romance stories. Kissing and what not is fine, but when this get handsy... or naked. Just fade to black, and have your characters imply it later or whatever. We have imaginations, plus site rules and stuff :p Don’t control someone else’s character without their ok, this includes their NPCs. Also this meant to be fun so please no OOC fighting. Any issues can be directed through me and I'll handle it :)

Evelyn was sure to keep her composure throughout their discussion, neither encouraging nor discouraging his fingers in her hair or at the nape of her neck. She might have shuddered at the contact if she didn't have confidence in his intelligence and need to keep his facade on, and if she weren't so absorbed observing him. His words became the only realiable action, perhaps the only thing that wasn't pretend.

What struck her most, were his final words in her ear. "But if you think sweet words and reverse psychology will get me to tame the trouble makers... I shall have to disappoint you. I am no one's puppet."

They were the sweetest words she could offer him and yet, she too knew he was no puppet. “You haven’t disappointed me yet.” She felt no need to explain further.

He kissed her hand before they departed, causing the hint of a smile to tug the corner of her lips. He might have longed for the opportunity to use his powers when somebody willingly came in his proximity and entered his game, instead, he kept his act to the end. Or maybe he knew how to pick his victims. Very clever.

As she scanned the hall for bystanders, Evelyn cast a look at Sylas just as he had turned his head away and this time, it was Evelyn's turn to smirk. Surely he didn't expect her to blow him a kiss. It appeared she did give him something to think about, even if it wasn't what she was intending. What she would give to be inside his enigmatic head for a few seconds. Evelyn corrected herself and focused back on the son of Zeus.

"I'm not sure to what extent your powers can reach, but I need prove Alex is innocent somehow. She told me that this is cursed by Hades himself and that his daughter planted it within Alex's room. Hades knew it was my sister's favorite since she tends to wear the pail shade often." Ajax handed the lipstick to her while Evelyn found herself intrigued and confused but complying with an open palm.

"I need to somehow have the curse on it traced, and if it's still lingering there we need to trap it somehow." Evelyn glanced to his equally as lost expression, clearly, witchcraft of the sort wasn't his forte.

She shook her head slowly. One step at a time. “Ajax, I - ”

"It's okay if you can't... I can surely ask Hecate under the oath of my father so she can't back out or anything."

“I understand your love and loyalty for your sister,” she cut in curtly. Just as she understood his need to have this done in fleeting time. “But how does she know it was cursed and the source? The beauty of curses is that the object is personified to punish and torment, and the origin, a ghost.” Evelyn ran her fingers along the lipstick. “If you want my help, I need the truth. Is there a chance, a minute chance, that Alex would do any of it of her own accord?” Zeus was the King of Gods and his children suffered his temper, additionally, they may have had the same mentality sometimes too and that was to play God themselves.

She wasn't implying Alex wasn't under the influence of a curse. It was a possible inkling those who prosecuted Alex would use and Evelyn was gathering the facts and rebuttal points. These matters would be addressed in Alex's trial regardless, and Evelyn might not have been able to help with the curse, but the trial she could prove more useful. For the truth. “If you're so sure this is cursed by who you say, use it as evidence.” Evelyn handed it back to him. “The Gods should be able to identify one of their own, I can only confirm it is cursed.” Part of her felt obliged to apologize but that would be a lie to her own beliefs and feelings.

She had helped him plenty already giving him topics to think about for Alex's trial and enchanting Alex's necklace. Evelyn presumed they were finished as she served no further aid and nodded to him before exiting the hall. Evelyn slipped by a girl with Zeus, giving a brief smile to them before heading to her cabin.

She let down her hair and got changed. Zeus had claimed it unnecessary but for a daughter of Nemesis, it absolutely was. She combed through her red hair then ran her fingers through it. A trial in Olympus. She would be kidding herself if she didn't admit she was excited. Evelyn headed to the beach and unclipped her dark heels at the ankle before slipping out of them and into the sand. She smiled slightly, gazing down at her feet, wiggling her toes in the cool sand.

Image "I know, and I'm sorry. You're right. I'll go and get it now and give it to him. After everything he's been through, he deserves something good to come out of all this mess that I've caused." Duke smiled warmly. No doubt it would benefit Wesley but it would benefit her conscience too.

"That's if I even make it out of there," she said in regards to her being the life of the party again. Duke felt for Alex but he didn't care for that sort of mentality especially when she was already rolling over and showing her belly opposed to trying. She'd let everyone else fight for her cause but not herself and it wasn't fair.

"Alex," he said before she exited the hall. "Try." Otherwise she wasn't worth fighting for.

Duke headed out to the beach giving Zeus and Iliana a nod in acknowledgement as he passed. Arriving at the beach, a problem became evident. There were more demigods than horses available. Did that mean some were going via a portal? Hopefully. "So I can't help but notice there's around 20 demigods going and 12 horses." He didn't want to make it sound like an issue in case there was a quick solution like having some demigods travelling with the gods, or more horses arriving but he did state it aloud for the Gods present to address.

No new horses flew in which meant most of them were stuck finding a pair. Duke headed straight to a horse and mounted it. He didn't know if Alex would want to ride with him or Ajax or take Pegasus instead. He didn't see himself refusing any company, as long as they were light otherwise they might have crushed the majestic creature. Duke couldn't say he was a frequent rider or flyer but he was a mighty fast learner so either way he was quite secure.

Once they were all settled in, the herd took off and accelerated into the sky. At least the creatures knew where to go automatically so it saved Duke from having to steer or struggle for control. Still, he did have some control issues; it was like being on a rollercoaster, the speed, the direction, it was out of control and it was hard for him to surrender it, even to such Godly creatures.

The structure of Olympus killed the wind as the herd lowered onto the grounds of Olympus with a chorus of clapping hooves. When stationary, Duke jumped off and checked everyone had made it in one piece. Actually he had a rather bizarre sensation, from being airborne and travelling faster than he probably even knew to having his feet on the ground again. It made him a bit lightheaded.

Image Keith put in some earphones to avoid being confronted. He walked back and forth with his head down which always risked a safety hazard but he didn't have the energy or mood to lock eyes with anyone. He kicked some sand up and continued his mindless dawdling. He did a half-hearted cha-cha step to the music then resumed his casual walk up and down. In doing that, he bumped into a girl - nothing hard or disastrous but he had walked into her who was likely minding her own innocent business. Immediately, he plucked out his earphones and reached out to the brunette's arm apologetically, while his other arm automatically protected his stomach. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. It's like I can't even see in these things sometimes." He pulled his glasses off and gave them a quick wipe with his sleeve before replacing them on the bridge of his nose.

He expected to look at her and identify her as someone malicious or nice from last year but there was no bell. Maybe she was another new demigod that fitted in better than he could in his years of attending camp. "Are you going to the trial too?" Keith mentally facepalmed. Why else be on the beach with a pack of demigods gathering to go to Olympus? If he could ask a stupider question, that'd be impressive.

"Umm...coffee?" He conjured one without thinking too hard and offered it to the girl. He frowned at the hot content in the plastic cup that began to heat his hand. "It probably would have been smarter if I got the jacket with it," he confessed in a whisper. "And your order first." He hissed as the burning sensation finally won and he dropped the cup, shaking out his hand. "I've never been much of a barista, there's got to be like 1000 different forms and flavor of coffee."

The more he opened his mouth to this girl, the more foolish he felt so he looked for another subject change. Maybe he should introduce her to others to take some social pressure off him. He spotted the red hair and slim figure of no one other than "Evelyn," he mumbled. "Evelyn!" he said her name twice, one as an idea, one officially calling her. As he approached, he saw her figure was not a joke in that outfit and he let his eyes stray head to toe. She was like one of those Robert Palmer girls in his music clips. Keith snapped out of it and smiled. "Evelyn, this is..." somebody's who's name he didn't catch or bother to ask for. Keith looked at the brunette guiltily. "Somebody I have the urge to call Summer so I'm glad I didn't." Keith wasn't the kind to make names for people as he found it was kind of rude but she did radiate brightness and just look at how she dressed. Very Summer-y. Keith meant it with absolutely no disrespect besides it was a pretty name. He smiled at her.

"I'm Keith." He grinned. Can a meteor come now?

Rather than the meteor, there was the shameless admittance that there weren’t enough horses for them all to ride separately. Well that was awkward but strangely comforting as he didn't trust himself to stay balanced on a horse that shot into the sky.

He had asked too much of Evelyn already and he didn't want to become reliant on her so nervously he turned to the other girl. "Do you mind if we...?" he threw a finger back and forth between them. "We can yell our favorite hot beverages to each other." Given the transport method it was the only acceptable time to yell...it was going to be a windy and insane ride. But rejection was something he was as equally willing to accept, actually he was expecting it.

Image Mason smiled seeing Andy in a cute little dress. "Well it is official, Mr. Hughson. You clean up far better than myself." Apparently Andy had similar thoughts to him, then helped adjust his tie making him smirk.

"Thank you," was all he replied with a smile.

"Oh, by the way," Andy moved beside him and showed the contents in her little bag. "Just in case."

Mason's eyes widened. "What the hell, And- " before he could finish, Evangeline had wormed her way between them.

Mason rolled his eyes and stepped away so as not to be against Evangeline. He was a man that liked his space even if it was a pretty blonde brushing up against him. A pretty blonde that could make people think, say and do crazy shit. “Wow, you really are a girl of many talents.” Mason reached for Andy's waist to pull her to him, but Evangeline had got her arm around Andy's first. Crap. “And you’re just as beautiful as I thought you’d be!”

"We're talking here," Mason told Evangeline. But of course she knew that and it didn't deter her, meanwhile Andy would probably think he was being his anti-social rude self. Especially to someone who just wanted to be friendly and conveyed such bubbly energetic vibes.

“Sorry, sorry. I'm Evangeline. Mason has just told me soooo much about you, that I feel like we’re already friends,” she carried on without missing a beat and Mason showed his displeasure. For a girl, that was a dick move. It was all coming back to bite him sooner than he expected and it showed in her smile. “Right babe?” Evangeline winked and placed a hand on his chest. Babe? And why did he get an urge to throw her a wink back.

Mason shifted out of reach slightly and crossed his arms over his chest, looking off. "Sure, princess." It was true he had spoken about Andy and her relationship, so he felt no need to deny that. And even if Evangeline wanted to let a few of his quotes slip, Andy knew how Mason felt about her and Ajax so it wasn't like it was new information, just unpleasant. But he definitely didn't want Andy to get the impression he had overshared about her.

He kept shifting his weight from foot to foot until he let his gaze get lost in the blue sea. Mason wanted to escape the situation, it was making him uncomfortable but he couldn't leave Andy with her. “And doesn’t he just look hot in the suit? You agree don’t you? Say it.” Mason whipped his head back to Evangeline and Andy. A slither of him wanted to know if Andy would actually say it, the other, protect her from those ugly situations.

Quickly pulling himself together, Mason shook his head. "Andy, you don't have to," he said softly. More suggesting her not to, particularly if it was the false influence of the daughter of Hera. He turned his blue eyes onto the blonde next. "I appreciate you thinking I'm hot but you don't have to get all the girls to confess it," he tried to downplay the situation. "Don't want you getting too jealous now." Since they were a couple or something of the sort.

Mason tried to smirk and pry the girls apart carefully. Better him than have Evangeline hang off Andy any longer. Somebody mentioned a new problem and that was the shortage of horses. Mason counted a few short himself. "So do you mind if I hitch a ride with Andy or would you rather go with me?" He glanced to the daughter of Hecate. "If that's alright with you?" Maybe she didn't even want to go with him and would rather go with Ajax or alone. One thing he couldn't do was let the girls ride together though.

Everything about the situation made him uncomfortable. He would rather jump on a horse alone, but it was the lesser evil to have one of the girls with him.

Son of Zeus || Hex: Green Outfit: XXX

Image “I understand your love and loyalty for your sister, but how does she know it was cursed and the source? The beauty of curses is that the object is personified to punish and torment, and the origin, a ghost. If you want my help, I need the truth. Is there a chance, a minute chance, that Alex would do any of it of her own accord?”

She sounded like she was placing the blame on Alex, and accusing him of being a liar. He didn't look at all impressed. Though to be fair, Evelyn didn't know them well enough. Still, it was wrong to think that what Alex did, was how she was naturally. "No. I know her, and this isn't like her at all. She was kind, playful, caring. She said she suffered memory loss and everything that happened that night with our mother, and with Jennova, came back in small fragments of flashbacks."

"If you're so sure this is cursed by who you say, use it as evidence."

"I intend to." He took the item back and stuffed it into his pocket.

“The Gods should be able to identify one of their own, I can only confirm it is cursed.”

"And is it cursed?" he wanted to ask, but she had nodded and left the hall. He could have gone after her, but that would just be wasting time. She was right, though, the Gods would be his better option with this.

At least he had something... that was better than nothing.

Ajax left the hall, ignoring his father with Iliana as he headed back to his cabin to get ready. It didn't take him long to pick out an outfit that he deemed worthy for the day. Casual, but smart still. Without wasting any more time, he made sure he got the so-called cursed item from his other jacket pocket and placed it into the one he now had on, and quickly made his way down to the beach. There were so many there already, and by the looks of things, they were going to be making their way by horse.

Seeing as there weren't that many for all the campers, Ajax chose to fly beside them with Ares and Athena until they reached the great kingdom in the sky. It was much bigger than he had imagined.

Image Perfectly sculptured statues representing each God lined up alongside each other as they headed down the golden path between them. Their eyes seemed to follow the Son of Zeus, making them seem much more life-like. Of course, it was just trickery of the mind.

The path leads them to the large acropolis hall with the arena beneath their feet.

At the front of the hall were empty seats where the gods would normally sit, and a golden throne reserved for his father only. Magic oozed from it in the form of small golden specks that floated slowly away from the throne, before vanishing like a fires ember.

They were to wait until the gods could join them, to give them directions to where they were needed.

Image As the others stood in that very hall, Ajax wandered over to the balcony that over-looked the arena beneath them. Placing his hands down on the stone wall before him, he looked down. There was a strange pool of water in the center of that room, which glowed an ominous cyan color. If he wasn't mistaken, he could have sworn that whispers were coming from inside of that thing.

He frowned as he stared at it for a few seconds, then turned his attention to the large wall fountain that gathered into a large marble shaped bowl. Imagine this in marble

Image About to head to the beach, he stopped in his track. A girl had approached him. "Hello, Iliana." he said, knowing straight away who she was and whos daughter she was. She did not reply to him, but Instead, he patiently watched her writing away in a little notepad which he couldn't help but smile about. Adorable little thing, he thought.

She then turned her pad to him, and he took it from her gently to read it.

"Lord Zeus, I am sorry, but I don't if it's a good idea for me to attend the trial. My emotions have been all over the place and if things get intense during the trial, I don't think I'll be able to control my powers. It was me that caused the intense rain not too long ago and I am scared I'll cause a tempest to appear. Does momma have to attend the trial? I was wondering if it was okay to stay in her area and just wait for the trial to end. I am sorry for my cowardly behavior, I just couldn't stand it if I hurt anyone because of my weaknesses."

"Don't worry," he began to tell her. "There is no chance of your powers getting out of control since there are Gods who can influence your moods to keep you calm, and happy. But, if it is your absolute wish to remain here? then I will not stop you. I will also grant full access to spending time with your mother." Demeter wasn't really needed, so it was a good chance for her to spend it with her daughter. "Remember, though... Gods cannot remain in the mundane world for too long, so after today, she will need to return back to Mount Olympus. Do you understand?"

Image "Alex," she paused in the doorway, turning back around to face him. "Try." he told her before he exited the hall.

"Yep," she nodded as she remained stood there for a few seconds whilst staring across the empty room before she left it.

Once outside, her boots sunk into the wet earth, causing Alex to look down at the muddy earth. She hadn't caused the weather to change, so she wasn't sure who else did, or could.

It looked like Ajax had already been and gone since he had left his previous clothes hanging over the washing hamper that sat in the laundry room. She didn't blame him if he was avoiding her, but then again, why would he? maybe her little act of lost control had frightened him since he had never seen her in that way, and Alex had never been in such a state. Truth be told... she also scared herself.

Duke's words had buried themselves deeply. What was the point of anyone fighting for her if she was willing to lay down before all of them, and allow the fate that seemed to be inevitable? - Before all of this, she was strong-minded, the soul of the party, a wild child that others had a hard time controlling when it came to her feisty, bouncy, outgoing nature.

Whoever wanted her dead, other than Mason... they were about to win if Alex didn't mentally slap herself.

"I'm not going down without a fight." she told herself, then quickly got dressed into something casual, and grabbed a black bag that she managed to place Wes's mechanical arm into. It was a perfect size, and luckily, she was around people who wouldn't find it odd or strange to carry a limb inside of their handbag.

She knew she wouldn't be able to grab him before mount Olympus, but she'd have a good moment to get his attention once they had arrived there. Hopefully.

Alex finally made her way down to the beach. Everyone was pairing up on the horses they had waiting patiently, and when she noticed her opportunity to get close to Duke who sat on one of them alone, she couldn't help but smirk. "I hope you don't mind me sharing with you." she climbed up and sat right behind him, lacing her arms around his muscular waist with a second smile of the day.

Once everyone had settled with their paring, and with her brother choosing to fly with Ares and Athena, Alex admired the views as the beautiful beast beat it's large wings as it followed the others high above the clouds.

It was absolutely beautiful. If she had been herself, this would have been the perfect moment to unhook her arms from around Duke. She would have held her arms out to the sides with her head tilted back, shouting out to the heavens, expressing how amazing it made her feel.

Freedom, that is what she longed for as the mild air-swept back her long dark locks.

At Mount Olympus

ImageIt wasn't too long of a journey from Athens, and after the horse's hooves touched the ground, Alex hopped down and glanced around at the others. Her brother wandered off to the other side of the room, looking down beneath the Acropolis. She stood with him and slipped her hand gently into his, causing her big brother to swallow. He was doing his best to not allow himself to break down again as she squeezed her hand to comfort her. "It'll be okay." he whispered without looking at her.

"I know." she whispered back with nothing other than a lie. She turned her head away from him and closed her eyes for a second. She didn't know, and neither did he, or the others.

She let go of his hand before she headed back to the group, leaving her brother in peace with his own thoughts for now.

Image Just as she was about to rejoin Duke, something from the corner of her eye had caught her attention. Black smoke lingered in the dark corner of the hall as it called out to her quietly for only her to hear.

She followed it until it began to twist and form another shape. With her eyes latched onto it, it soon became clear who had coaxed her away from the others. His boney fingers cupped her chin, tilting her face up to him. The air in the room had turned cold as Death himself lingered closely in front of her as he leaned in, his dead eyes latching almost onto what soul she had left.

She narrowed her eyes at his words. "How easy and satisfying it would be to kill you. How easy it would be to suck what little life you have left within you." he smirked.

"Then why don't you do it? something stopping you?" she asked "That's right," she added as soon as she saw his smirk fade away as he drew back from her. "Because you know, that if you kill me now the gods will finally have the proof they need to get rid of you for good. Threaten me all you want to. Your words have no purpose here. A god that harms those weaker than him, A god that uses his own children to do his dirty work for him, is nothing more than a coward." she spat.

"We shall see." and with that, Hades left in the same way he came.

She could breathe again, and quickly wiped away the tears from her eyes as she rejoined the group.

Cayden was at least enjoying himself as he stood by the horse he had taken by himself. He was stroking it while calling it he, when in fact, it was a she. "Good, boy." he offended the beast. "Thank you for not throwing me--ahhh!!!" Alex quickly turned her attention to where Cayden was. The beast had kicked him with its hind legs, sending the son of Ares into one of the stone pillars. "What the hell?" he stood up, dusting himself off. It didn't hurt much, but the beast still packed a good kick.

Alex shook her head and looked to Wes as she held the bag over her shoulder. "Wes..." she called out to him. "Can I... have a word with you for a moment, please?"

Wes followed after Liv. His pace was slow and she quickly got a fair distance ahead of him, but in the end it meant he didn't have to wait as long for her to finish getting ready in her cabin. Not that he minded. For the first time, Wes wasn't overly excited to join the rest of the campers. Even though Olympus would be a glorious sight, at the current moment, he didn't care.

When Liv exited her cabin, Wes nodded his head giving her his best smile. "You look nice," was all he said. There was no point acting like a scolded puppy. He started following after her, trying his best to put his own troubled thoughts to the back of his mind. It wasn't working, but he still tried to repress them as much as possible. He arrived at the beach with Liv and he could already feel Trinity's gaze drilling holes into the back of his head. Instead of humoring it, or addressing it, he just stood there with his back to her, fighting every urge to look over his shoulder.

"Oh, I am glad to be back!" Wes looked over at Liv, curiously. It didn't seem like she was talking to him. He briefly saw her kick the sand, covering something up quickly.

"I don't think anyone would judge you for talking to animals... Isn't that what Poseidon kids do? Talk to sea creatures or whatever?" He quirked a brow toward her. "I talk to animals all the time... But they don't know what I'm saying." He actually managed a weak chuckle. Wes probably did look like an idiot talking to animals like they actually understood him.

Wes felt the presence of someone behind him, just before he felt their hand on his collar. "Sorry, you're shirt tag is hanging out, and I just hate that." He instantly tensed, glancing over his shoulder slightly toward the culprit, seeing the blonde from earlier. Something in his gut knotted in her presence, like a sign that something was wrong, although he couldn't put his finger on it. While her fingers brushed his neck, something like cold tingles crawled its way up his spin from her touch. Then, it halted at the base of his skull, almost like maybe his own control over emotions acted as a firewall. He could feel what she wanted him to do, like a suggestion in the back of his mind.. That brunette next to you is gorgeous.

He quickly pivoted on his heels, reaching out to take a hold of the girl's wrist. Wes looked down at her with furrowed brows and a skeptical expression. They stood there in silence for a long moment as he studied the blonde. "I don't know what kind of game you're trying to play, but leave me and Trinity out of it." He spoke sternly with more authority in his voice than he was used to. Wes released her wrist and let her walk away. Then raised his hand to the back of his neck, rubbing it to try to get the tingling sensation to leave.

"Damn it," Wes cursed under his breath at the revelation of few horses and the fact that they'd all have to double up. Who in the hell could he even ride with? Alex was already joining Duke. Andy might have been an option, probably the only female Trinity wouldn't have chewed his head off for riding with. Instead of causing problems, Wes simply walked over to the nearest unaccompanied Pegasus. "How am I supposed to do this?" He said more to himself. It took him some amount of effort to wrangle himself onto its back. It involved a little jump so his body was draped over it. Then using the horse's mane to steady himself, he slowly spun around and sat up. Smooth.

He patiently waited until someone wished to join him. At this point, the best he could do is just focus on himself and deal with whatever came his way. Wes didn't know who would actually want to ride with him, a one armed man isn't much support on a flying animal. But he had faith the Gods wouldn't let him fall to his death, hopefully.

* * *

Wes slipped off the Pegasus about as poised as he manage to climb on top of it. He gave the animal a good couple pets, wishing he could conjure up an apple or something, but he had no such powers. He followed the group toward the Acropolis, not really paying much attention to the splendor around them, barely even focusing on where he walked.

Luckily he paid enough attention to see Alex step before him to get his attention. "Wes..." He raised his head, coming out of his daze to look toward her. Wes could already feel the worry that weighed on his face, making him look tired with dark circles under his eyes. "Can I... have a word with you for a moment, please?"

"Oh yeah... Sure," he answered, making his way over toward her.

Sylas waited on the beach patiently, letting his hands slip into his pockets as he leaned against a near by tree. He was content to wait for his sister to show up. After all, they hadn't finished their conversation from earlier. But he quickly became distracted by the events that began to unfold. He couldn't help but be curious about this Evangeline that Evelyn wished for him to tame. No doubt a woman after his own heart, and just watching her work from a bystanders point of view was an interesting site. He observed as she moved from Wes to Andy with a breeze, changing acts like someone would change clothes. Fascinating.

At the discovery of insufficient horses to escort them all to Olympus, Sylas perked up. So many prospects before him. The easy option would be to wait for his sister. There was no way she could evade him then, when they were hundreds of feet up in the air. But that did not sate his interest. He took a deep breath and scanned the campers who had yet to climb up onto one of the winged beasts. He could swoop in and take Andy before Mason got the chance, but she'd rather break his arm then share a pegasus. Plus, there was no sense in making an enemy out of Hughson. Not yet anyway.

He could go with one of the more obvious choices, like this... Evangeline. Pick her mind, see if she tries to wrap him around her finger like she has been with everyone. There also was an unfamiliar brunette near the one armed sap on the other end of the beach. And, of course, the trio the never separates. He almost felt like none of them were worth the effort, not at the moment.

Sylas had nearly made his choice when he heard a voice call out, "Evelyn!" He didn't pay attention to the boy who called for her, instead focusing his attention on the redhead who was dressed to kill. He couldn't help but smirk to himself as he pushed off the tree and slowly made his way toward the group that surrounded the fiery headed phoenix.

"Do you mind if we...?" The boy, Keith was it, asked the brunette stranger, and something else ridiculous about caffeinated drinks. How rude to beckon Evelyn to their little gathering only to not offer her a ride. But, it was lucky enough for Sylas.

He slowly approached with a friendly smile and a nod to Keith, while his left hand gently rested upon Evelyn's back as to not surprise her of his presence. "I'll make sure Miss Masters arrives to the Golden City in one piece." Sylas didn't ask for permission, not from Evelyn and Keith's approval was not wanted nor required. He looked back to the redhead, motioning his free hand toward the collection of horses.

Sylas walked alongside his escort toward an unencumbered Pegasus. He hadn't thought about her wearing a pencil skirt being an issue until that moment, or maybe he subconsciously did. Either way, he was still a gentleman. "Here, let me," he offered, this time his expression showing he wouldn't aid her if she didn't want it. But considering there was no boarding station to assist, it'd be easier than her trying on her own. Sylas then gently scooped her up into his arms and placed her upon the back of the horse.

Once she was on, Sylas carefully mounted the Pegasus in front of her, being sure not to off balance her. He glanced over his shoulder toward Evelyn to make sure she was settled before their ride took off up into the sky. He could have spoken mid flight, continued their conversation from earlier. But silence was just as powerful as a conversation, especially with such an adept opponent. This also gave Sylas the ability to focus on remaining on the horse... Gods he hated this. He was thankful when the hoofs found their place on the solid ground of Olympus. He was thankful he wasn't a descendant of Zeus in that moment. He wanted to be nothing like the Valises, and his desire to not fly was just a cherry on the screw Zeus cake.

Sylas ran a hand back through his hair, trying to smooth back into some form of order before he slid off the horse's back. On his own two feet, he adjusted his shirt before turning to face Evelyn, offering her his hand. "Would you like my help down?" Getting down was far simpler than getting up in a tight skirt, he'd imagine. And if her pride refused herself to need the aid to get down, then he'd politely step aside. But if she needed the help, well he was there and willing.

"What the hell, And- " She was, no doubt, about to get an earful from Mason when a whistle behind them cut him off. Andy quickly snapped the clutch shut, turning around to see whomever so rudely joined them.

“Wow, you really are a girl of many talents.” Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Mason reach to take her waist but the blonde was faster, locking her arm with Andy's. “And you’re just as beautiful as I thought you’d be!”

Andy just, stood there frozen like a deer in headlights, her face slightly scrunched in confusion. "Uh...thanks?" What in the hell is going on? She had half of a mind to pull her arm free from the stranger's grasp, but she had never really be thrust into such a situation. People she didn't know never just came up to her and grabbed a hold of her arm... It was perplexing.

"We're talking here," Mason brought words to only some of things that ran through Andy's mind. She looked over at him briefly, long enough to make eye contact and quirk a confused brow before looking back to the blonde.

“Sorry, sorry. I'm Evangeline. Mason has just told me soooo much about you, that I feel like we’re already friends.” Andy's gaze snapped over to Mason once again, her brows furrowing slightly. She parted her lips to add a sarcastic quip, no doubt. But Eve spoke up first. “Right babe?”

Andy coughed, taken by surprise at the concluding comment. Her eyes were wide as she looked between them skeptically. She stood their silent, with a queasy feeling in her gut. She swallowed hard, watching as the siren winked at Mason and even placed her hand upon his chest. Andy had to fight ever urge to yank the tart away and knock her in the sand... Maybe throw her in the ocean. She could have improvised. But instead she remained silent and tried to keep her best game face on.

"Sure, princess," Mason replied as he took a step back so the blonde was out of reach and crossed his arms over his chest.

“And doesn’t he just look hot in the suit? You agree don’t you? Say it,” Eve whispered to her like stupid school girls blatantly flirting with some dumb jock, speaking loud enough for Mason could hear it.

Why did this sound like it was straight out of Mean Girls. Tell him he looks sexy with his hair pushed back. Andy had to fight the impulse to physically gag at all the school girl, passive aggressive bullshit. The worst part was she felt a strong urge to answer the question, like something in her head was screaming at her to say it, say he was hot and like it'd antagonize her until she did.

"Andy, you don't have to," Mason said softly to her. "I appreciate you thinking I'm hot but you don't have to get all the girls to confess it. Don't want you getting too jealous now."

Andy nearly snorted at his final comment. Gods this was torture. The thought continued to wiggle around inside her like a snake trying to break free. Andy just wanted to be like Of course, what's your point? But that wasn't enough. Whatever it was, wanted to pull it out of her. Usually she could keep her thoughts and words in check, but it seemed whatever flood gate she had was taken down and filled with the strong urge to share the truth.

"I don't like the word 'hot'. Only vain or shallow people use that to describe someone," Andy said with a sharpness in her voice as she side eyed Eve. Nope, that wasn't enough. She had to say it. "Yes. I've always found him very attractive." Then, like a snap the feeling was gone. Andy stood their, slightly wide eyed that she just admitted that, face flushed. Well, there was no sweeping that under the rug now.

Before Andy could rip her arm free, probably more aggressively than what would have been necessary, Mason pulled the two of them apart. Thank the Gods. But in that moment, she wasn't all that thrilled for him to be touching her either. "So do you mind if I hitch a ride with Andy or would you rather go with me?" Her jaw nearly dropped, ready to make the most annoyed and dumbfounded expression, but she kept herself composed as best she could. "If that's alright with you?"

"Who the hell are you asking?" Well that just slipped out. Andy quickly plastered on a fake smile as she took Mason's arm and stepped backwards toward the horses. "I'm sure Princess here is fine with sharing. Obviously, she's above being jealous if she wants every girl to admit how hot you are."

Andy had nothing else to say, she spun around and headed toward the horses with Mason in tow. Gods... was she jealous? Was this how Mason felt whenever he saw her with Ajax. The thought instantly made her feel horrible. She had zero right to be jealous, but she couldn't fight the thoughts that rattled in her head... Those and worse. Thank the Gods none of those slipped out. Andy should let him go back and ride with Eve. But her foot was in her mouth now and this was one moment where she refused to swallow her pride, not for that girl.

Andy groaned, kicking at the sand when they reached the horses. Worst day to wear a dress. Well, it looked like some of her pride had to be swallowed if she liked it or not. She reluctantly turn to Mason, looking at the ground and sighing before meeting his gaze. "Can you help me up... Please?" Once she was seat upon its back, she slid her shoes back on and waited for Mason to join her. She hesitantly slid her arms around his waist, using him as an anchor to keep her on the flying creature, with no choice but to sit side saddle.

While in flight, her mind raced through whatever the hell it was that just transpired. "Babe?" she whispered under her breath trying to come to some sort of conclusion. "Babe!?" This time Andy said it louder, the question directed at Mason. Gods she was confused.

"Pete." Well he was about as talkative as Sloane was. She tried to remain as polite as possible as he made quick work of the hand shake. And his smile was more pathetic than her own. You'd think she'd be relieved to have run into someone who seemed similar to herself. But in reality it just made for awkward silence. “You’ve ruined your dress.”

Sloane's brows furrowed in confusion. Well, that was an interesting conversation starter... If it could be called that. She glanced down at her clothing then back up at him. "It's water... It will dry." Did men really know so little about clothes? Regardless if Pete did or did not, it seemed to be his poor exit clause into what could barely be considered a conversation.

“Later then.” He turned in his direction and Sloane in hers with an awkward head nod. She didn't look back or give the awkward encounter a second thought as she continued on her path toward her cabin to change. But, then all of a sudden as if out of no where his voice was beside her. “That guy from in there.”

Sloane stopped dead in her tracks for a brief moment, double taking, confusion evident on her face. Not only by his question but by the fact that he was all of a sudden at her side. His gesture directed her gaze at the main hall. Pete continued to walk in stride with her, following her to her cabin. Apparently he didn't care about the destination, but was more focused on getting his answers. “Is he a friend of yours? What’s his deal? Tell me.”

She could feel his magic, tickling along the surface of her skin like electricity. It felt a lot like when her brother tried to manipulate her, to no avail. For some reason it never seemed to work on each other, maybe it was because they both had the ability to persuade others... No different to this Pete. Sloane headed up the steps to her cabin, stopping when she reached the top. She glanced over her shoulder at him. "Please can get better results than demands or magic," Sloane said in a matter of fact way.

Without another word, she disappeared into her cabin to quickly change her clothes. It didn't take her long, only a couple minutes and when Sloane stepped back outside, Pete was still there. She sighed softly before descending the stairs and heading in the direction of the beach. Assuming he was still walking alongside her, Sloane glanced over at him briefly. "Sylas?... He's my brother," she finally answered the first part of his questioning. "And his... deal? I don't know what you mean."

Playing coy never worked well for Sloane, but she couldn't very well divulge that her brother was a sociopath who got his kicks by watching the world burn. Plus, if she said anything remotely negative about him to someone else it'd get back to her. It always did. And the last time that happened, Sylas nearly put her in the hospital. So, she searched for some kind of concrete answer that wouldn't be some insult or secret. Just before they stepped out of the tree line onto the beach, she looked back toward Pete. "Our mother is Eris... If that is sufficient enough of an answer."

Sloane slipped out of her heels, scooping them up in her right hand before she continued forward. As she approached, numerous Pegasus took into flight leaving one remaining on the beach. She nearly looked over her shoulder toward Pete, but he didn't seem like an idiot. So, she was certain he could connect the dots for himself. Luckily for Sloane, she grew up in a rich household with numerous horses. She was able to mount the horse with ease, even while wearing a skirt.

Once she sat upon it, she finally let herself look back toward Pete as she sat high above him, side saddle. "Front or back?" Sloane asked, offering him her hand.

"Andy, you don't have to," Mason said and Eve’s eyes danced from his soft ones to Andy’s brown. Eve swallowed down a sigh, here she was trying to do him a favour, and he refuses her gift. Not that he could protect Andy from the magic already working its way through her veins. He looked back at her, "I appreciate you thinking I'm hot but you don't have to get all the girls to confess it. Don't want you getting too jealous now." His tone was casual, and she liked how he was willing to play along. Well, not so willing, but he had kissed her first.

"I don't like the word 'hot'. Only vain or shallow people use that to describe someone.” Andy skirted around the question, but Eve’s magic wouldn’t be satisfied with just that. "Yes. I've always found him very attractive." Eve chose to latch onto the word very.

She looked over her shoulder at Mason with a raised eyebrow and a hint of a smirk. She hoped he liked his gift. “See told you, you were very attractive.”

She let Mason pull her apart from Andy. Eve wasn’t dumb she could sense Andy’s hostility and dropped her arm, leaning towards Mason and resting a hand on his arm. "So do you mind if I hitch a ride with Andy or would you rather go with me?" He looked over at Andy. "If that's alright with you?"

Before Eve could respond with anything coy or fake, Andy blurted out her words first. "Who the hell are you asking?" She put a smile over the outburst, but she clearly needed some acting lessons, and Eve would be happy to give them to her. Anything for a friend of Mason's.

Ignoring Andy’s words, she turned to Mason with a gentle smile, but a sly undertone hidden beneath her words just for him. “Of course, I’d never presume to tell you what to do.” She then rose up on her tip toes pressing a quick peck to his lips, fast enough that she was done before he even had the chance to react. Shoving her away being the most likely reaction to come to his mind.

Then Andy grabbed Mason’s arm backing away, “I'm sure Princess here is fine with sharing. Obviously, she's above being jealous if she wants every girl to admit how hot you are."

Eve laughed like she and Andy were friends making a joke, keeping up her bubbly and friendly façade. She even called out to them, “Have fun you two.” Eve knew jealousy when she saw it, and it seemed as though Andy was more green-eyed monster than girl. The answer of how Andy felt about Mason seemed pretty clear where Eve was standing, and as she watched the two of make their way over to the line of horses, she felt compelled to act altruistically.

With a bit of work, a few influencing thoughts and some machinations, she was sure she could land Mason the girl. Treating people like toys in a dollhouse was kind of her specialty. And of everyone she’d met so far, she supposed she liked him the best, and she’d get to enjoy breaking up the King and Queen of camp.

Trampling down on feelings of a selfless nature. She scouted the beach for her pony riding buddy. She spotted Trinity and her loyal dog standing not too far off, and briefly considered hitching a ride with the blonde, but with him next to Trinity she decided against it. Best to no directly approach a demigod of war when they were ready to tear your head off. Wes was another option, but for some reason her magic didn’t take on him and she didn’t want to risk another encounter until she knew the rules of the game.

Instead she laid her eyes on the duo that had interrupted her kiss with Mason earlier, the blonde and redhead huddled together. She strode straight up the blonde grabbing his bicep, “You’re riding with me,” She funnelled her magic into her words and with her physical touch, she wasn’t leaving him much of a choice, dragging him along if her magic didn’t do the trick.

Arriving at a horse she realised it was a lot bigger than she’d anticipated. And well, she was an inner city kid, the closest she’d ever been to a horse was the one time he and Pete rode on a carousel. Though those horses did have wings. She wasn’t going to look the fool though, she turned to the blonde she’d dragged along, her hand going from grabbing his bicep to resting on it. “Help me up?” She asked, again using her magic to influence his actions into helping her.

Turning back to the horse, she made her way onto its back, doing her upmost to look as comfortable as possible. Finally she turned back to her unwilling horse mate. “You are getting up here aren’t you?” This time she didn’t use her magic on him, only a metre of so of the ground she already felt a tinge of fear breaking in, not that she’d ever admit that to anyone. Luckily only he was close enough to hear the hint of nerves in her voice or see how tightly she gripped the reins.

Pete stood on the grass watching Sloane ascend her steps before turning to look down at him. “Please can get better results than demands or magic.” Even for an unaffected guy like Pete that comment stung deep below his vacant exterior it painted him with the same brush as his sister. Looking down at him without a hint of an emotional appeal, which never got you far with Pete, he felt thoroughly judged.

So he stayed where she had left him, perching on her bottom step looking out at the sky, clear and blue again. It felt like Pete had only the chance to blink twice before she was tapping her way down the stair again, seemingly without acknowledging him stuck where she’d left him. He rose to his feet and followed her a step behind. “I am sorry. I-“ He had that whole time on her step think about what he wanted to say but he still wasn’t sure. He wasn’t going to lie or hide behind some fake platitude, Pete’s motto was only the truth. She he tried it. “I’m trying to be better.”

"Sylas? He's my brother. And his... deal? I don't know what you mean." Brother, he eyed Sloane as she glided always a step ahead of him. He hadn’t expected that.

But instead of worrying about her relationship with this Sylas, he felt a scowl pull his features down. “You do know.” He said, his voice growing dark, he wasn’t going to sit here and play games with her. If she were his brother, than she knew exactly what Pete was asking.

She didn’t respond for a long time, and Pete was about to stop in his tracks. He was basically stalking her for an answer here, and he wasn’t going to bother with someone who didn’t shoot straight. "Our mother is Eris... If that is sufficient enough of an answer." He supposed it would have to be as she appeared to shut the door on that conversation as they exited the tree line and were deposited onto the beach. And as they watched a series of winged horses take flight, Pete was for more concerned with their method of travel, than he was with sharing it.

His boots kicked up sand as he followed Sloane across the beach, a dumb look on his face. He was born in the inner streets of London, he’d just assumed they’d have some portal, or magic flying train. Horses weren’t something he had any experience with. And as he watched Sloane slip up the large beast, in a skirt no less, he realised it was just him feeling wary. She held out a hand to him, "Front or back?"

He raised his eyebrows at her outstretched hand and looked up at her through his hair. “I’m not sure I know what that means.” His commitment to honesty outweighing any possible embarrassment he felt at being helpless in front of a cute girl. He shook his head with a grimace. “I’m a city kid, we don’t do horses.” He said the word horses like something dark and ugly.

Still he grabbed her hand and with her help, clambered up on the great beast, with absolutely no grace. “My life’s in your hands horse girl.” He muttered darkly as they took to the skies, he didn’t like this mode of transport one bit. What was wrong with the tube? It wasn’t until they were a great way into their flight that he responded to her answer. “As a son of Hera, equating one’s deal to their parentage isn’t really sufficient in my book.” He didn’t pry her to say anything more about Sylas since it was clear she wasn’t going to.

Arriving in Olympus was a god send as the horses hooves found solid ground and Pete felt able to unclench all his muscles. Though he was quickly confronted with another issue, he was even less confident in getting off this beast without breaking something.

“Good boy, that doesn’t really answer my question though,” The rolled his eyes slightly, scratching the back of his head again. “Okay, fine, a siren or succubus takes form of whoever you most desire. Your team needs you but you're approached alone by the seductress. How do you think you'd go? I know in the battlefield you kick ass and I know you...like the ladies so how does the big bad wolf respond to temptation?” Theo returned the raised eyebrow Trinity had given him earlier. What on earth did she want him to say? He paused as he thought about his answer.

Just as he opened his mouth to get the words out, Trinity let out a gasp and kept going. “Would you be able to smell them? Cause I know - I think I read somewhere we all have pheromones and you're also attracted to the person's pheromones subconsciously? So you might be able to pick up on the different scent, right?” The addition to the question almost made Theo let out a laugh. She was really digging in on him, like she was looking for a flaw.

"Smells... really Trin? I don't know that a smell is gonna cause me to lose focus in battle. If I'm being honest with you, I don't know how I would react. That's a whole different scenario than someone coming to my cabin. You're talking about magical creatures here, and it's not like I have the ability to resist emotional manipulation. Hopefully, I would be strong enough to deal with it in a battle, but I can't be sure. Let's just hope we never have to find out," Theo let off yet another anxious smile. He felt Trinity tense up as he was talking, and he spotted Eve, the girl who was apparently going to Wes' cabin later. Theo wondered if the daughter of the god of war was actually intimidated by someone else, but it did seem to be the case.

“Theo, can you try make sure I don't do something stupid,” Trinity basically whispered to him. He looked down at her with a hint of concern.

"I'll do my best. Just stay with me and stay calm, he rubbed her shoulder for reassurance.

“I’d rather ride you than a horse,” This time Theo did let out a laugh, letting the hint of concern on his face shift to a very presumptive look as Trinity stammered on. Was she nervous? He couldn't tell. "No, not like the I'm on top, you're on bottom way or moving against you, but the wolf - I want to ride the wolf... Sorry”

"You can ride whatever you want," Theo let his smirk fill his face. He was joking, except he really wasn't. He had never let anyone ride the wolf before. He wasn't sure how he actually felt about it. It was a nice idea in theory, but the wolf was his safe space, his me zone. Letting someone else into that area of his life was uncomfortable, but, then again, it was Trinity.

“You do owe me a wolf transformation though.”

Theo decided on playing it cool, "I guess you did win the bet. Just name your time and place. It's a date... with a wolf." That made sense. That was his best shot at being funny about it.

Theo watched as Trinity's smile disappeared. He hoped his joke didn't kill the vibe. “Can I...could I...maybe crash at your cabin tonight?”

Theo's eyes got really big for a moment. Why was she doing this to him? Pulling him in like this. He just really didn't want to be a rebound or a security blanket from whatever she was dealing with with Wes. He nodded anyway, "Of course, you know I can't say no to that." Theo realized that somewhere in the conversation they had started slowly moving towards the beach again. He approached a horse slowly, mounting in one motion, reaching down for Trinity's hand.

"Come on," he said with a smile.

Iliana listened carefully as Zeus replied to her request.

"There is no chance of your powers getting out of control since there are Gods who can influence your moods to keep you calm, and happy. But, if it is your absolute wish to remain here? then I will not stop you. I will also grant full access to spending time with your mother. Remember, though... Gods cannot remain in the mundane world for too long, so after today, she will need to return back to Mount Olympus. Do you understand?"

Iliana sighed in relief and nodded. In truth she would rather go to Olympus because she was more comfortable there. She honestly wasn't expecting to stay here by herself with her mother though. She knew her mother couldn't be on earth for long periods of time also. She recalled once when she cried when her mother had to go back to Olympus when she was 7 or 8 and her mother told her why. It was hard to hear, but even as a young child she understood her mother had duties.

Iliana quickly wrote down her response.

"I don't want to be left behind and since I trust that you and the other Gods will help keep my powers in check, I'll go. I am tired of being scared though. Thank you Lord Zeus."

After he read it, she bowed before turning back to head for the beach again.

The guys watched as people started pairing up to ride the winged horses.

"You know it be a site if we paired up huh?"

This caught Heath off guard and he actually chuckled.

"Yes it would and it is not happening. I am just waiting for Iliana's return. You're going to have to ride with someone else, Ethan."

Ethan figured as much. Question was who did he ride with? Whoever it was, it was bound to be awkward. However, this didn't end up being a situation at all for the petite blonde girl that was causing issues, appeared suddenly and grabbed Heath. Heath was so surprised that he didn't even hear her order to right with her. Ethan was just as surprised as he watch the girl drag him away. It was at this time that Iliana returned and saw what was happening. Seeing a shocked Ethan, she poked him on the shoulder. He shook himself and saw her.

"Oh there you are. Glad you made it back in time, we're starting to get out of here."

Iliana listened but was looking at her adopted brother being led away by a blonde. Quickly writing in her notepad, she asked Ethan what just happened. Ethan hesitated trying to recall was exactly just happened and then remembered.

"I think that girl just ordered Heath to ride with her. He looked so surprised by her act, I think he got influenced by her."

This caused Iliana to frown and she instantly followed. Ethan sighed and was right behind her. They both caught up when the blonde asked if Heath was going to get on. Heath himself had already snacked out of his stupor. He didn't like how this girl basically ordered him what to do, but he did catch the fear in her voice with that last question. Looks like the girl had never been on a real horse. He was about to answer when he saw Iliana and Ethan. Iliana instantly wrote in her note book and showed it to Heath, asking if he was okay. Heath smiled and nodded.

"I am fine Iliana. Ethan, will you ride with Iliana and make sure she's okay."

Both Iliana and Ethan looked a bit surprised by his request. Heath took, Iliana's notebook and actually wrote something on it.

"This one is suspicious so I want to keep an eye on her. I'll be careful."

Both Iliana and Ethan nodded. Iliana looked back at the blonde girl and glared at her before taking two fingers and made a hand gesture by pointing at her eyes before turning her hand to point two fingers at her, indicating she would be watching her, and she meant it.

After Ethan and Iliana got on a winged horse, Heath finally mounted behind the blonde.

"I have knowledge of horse riding, so just hang on and clamp your legs to the sides of the horse. That's what you mostly use to hang onto it. And try not to do anything."

It was pretty obvious the horse knew the way so Heath allowed them to lead. Soon they arrived at Olympus themselves and Heath wasted no time in dismounting before helping the blonde dismount.

Soon Athena came towards them.

"As a reminder to you kids, there will be no use of your powers during Alexandria's trial. Do I make myself clear?" she asked, eying the blonde girl especially.

Oh, she saw what the blonde did to her son and while she knew it was part of her nature to be that way, she would not tolerate any mischief during this trial. It was going to be hard enough to make sure Hades didn't try anything.

"Yes mother." Heath replied.

Once Ethan and Iliana dismounted, both saw Hades confronting Alex. The god was downright scary, so much so, that Iliana hid behind Ethan. Iliana watched Alex and felt so bad for her. She also watched her approaching Wesley. Turning she also saw others dismount. Soon though, she heard her name. Turning, she saw her mother approaching. Happy to see her, the young lady ran and hugged her tightly.

"There's my little dove. I am happy to see you made it here safely. How are you sweetie?" Demeter asked before releasing her.

Iliana quickly wrote down everything that had happened so far. She never hid anything from her mother. Demeter nodded and read it all.

"I am sure Wesley didn't mean to get upset with your Lia. I know, why don't you make him one of your flower wreaths to help cheer him up? Just wait for him to calm down before giving it to him."

That was actually a good idea and then another thought occurred to Iliana. Maybe she could make wreaths for others too. There were others who just seemed to be down and she hated seeing others suffer.

Looking back at her mother, she quickly wrote, "Momma, I have another idea. Can we go to your flower house?"

"Sure dear, but we can't be there too long. Alexandria's trial will start soon."

With that, the two quickly left for Demeter's area of Olympus, via air drafts created by Demeter. Time was of the essence after all.

Ethan watched as Demeter and Iliana left. He soon saw Zeus's son was alone and decided to join him.

"Hi, do you mind if I join you? You're Lord Zeus's son right? My name is Ethan Knox and I am Hestia's son. I am sorry we're meeting under these circumstances." Ethan replied sincerely.

“I was trying to channel my own inner animal,” she mumbled, like a child being scolded, not really able to let their imaginary scenario go.

Then he gave her a strange confirmation that she could ride whatever she wanted. If she wasn't so nervous about the hole she dug herself she would have agreed it was obvious. Try stop a daughter of Ares from doing what they wanted. And it was soon followed by a confirmation that she had a date...with a wolf.

The biggest answer she waited on, took a moment for Theo to answer. “Of course, you know I can't say no to that.”

She smiled, too grateful to counter that: one, she didn't know that and two, he absolutely could say no. It was in everybody's vocabulary. “Thanks,” she said.

Theo mounted the creature with ease and Trinity would have turned it into a mini-competition and forced herself in front of him for control if the circumstances weren't so heavy. If there wasn't a whole trial waiting on the other side of the clouds.

“Come on.” She took his hand and sprang off one foot to mount the creature behind him. She glanced around her to see how other buddies were holding onto each other and mimicked it, wrapping her arms around Theo.

In the air, Trinity looked down, imagining if one demigod had lost balance and plummeted to their death. How long would they be falling before making a bone-crushing impact? “Do you turn into other animals?” she inquired, frowning. Trinity didn't want to see a whole wild-life show of Theo, she was only curious if he could take to the skies as an eagle or something because being in the open air like this was surreal. There was no other feeling like it.

Trinity dismounted when they reached Olympus and smiled and pat the steed that gave them such a ride. As she observed the glorious surroundings, she spotted Ajax on his own. Even from the back, she could tell he was being crushed by the weight of the trial. Trinity bit her lip glancing to Theo then to Ajax hesitantly. She didn't know how she could assure him or comfort him, she wasn't the type to soothe people. Thankfully, the need to approach him lifted when a red-headed male approached the son of Zeus.

Everyone started to wander in their own direction and even Trinity drifted a few steps away. “Wanna go walkabouts?” She smiled to Theo. Regardless of his decision, Trinity began to wander off slowly taking in her surroundings.

She was strangely enjoying the odd feeling of sand seeping between her toes. It was quite grounding right up until Keith called for her. She glanced over her shoulder at him and smiled. He seemed in better spirits with a dark-haired girl in tow. “Evelyn, this is...” Evelyn’s smile slowly faded as Keith’s sentence stuck in the air. “Somebody I have the urge to call Summer so I’m glad I didn’t.”

Evelyn smiled uncertainly. While that was half cute, she might have stuck to the girl’s real name. She extended a hand. “Well, as he kindly called across the whole beach, I’m Evelyn, and that is my true name so thank you for that.”

“I’m Keith,” he quipped, in an untimely awkward way only he could achieve. He was lucky he had something endearing about him.

There wasn’t much time for a grand meet and greet as the Gods and demigods were ready to leave on pairing Pegasuses. “Do you mind if we...?” Keith addressed the brunette. “We can yell our favorite hot beverages to each other.”

Another smile tugged at Evelyn’s lips. He needed help but she also thought they were going to get along just fine.

A hand touched her back, announcing their presence and it shot a cold thrill down her spine. “I’ll make sure Miss Masters arrives to the Golden City in one piece.” Sylas. She glanced to him as he motioned towards the creatures. She could tell it wasn’t a choice, more of a telling everyone and Evelyn let herself be led slowly.

Evelyn paid a quick glance over her shoulder to the pair she left behind. “Nice meeting you,” she added. “I think,” she muttered. She didn’t really know if she could class that as the most productive or kind meeting. Besides, she had a shift in priority now. Why did the devil choose her for a flying partner? Not that she wasn’t somehow and in someway grateful. She had been aching to know more about Sylas, not that he’d give any of his cards away.

Standing before a horse, she sighed gently. To get on this magnificent creature without tearing her skirt was going to be her own trial. “Here, let me,” Sylas offered. For a moment, she was suspicious but disregarded it and nodded to him, granting him permission to help. He scooped her up with surprising grace before he placed her upon the horse.

When he climbed on, Evelyn smiled and finally let one comment go. “Sweet Sylas,” she mocked. He had tact and was a gentleman, but his heart and mind didn’t radiate sweetness, they both knew that.

Evelyn tried to find a good grip on him without hugging him, but she valued her life more than her unsettled desire not to come in close contact with him again. She wound her arms around his mid-section, absolutely needing the balance this time and as they took off, she hid her face in his back and tightened her arms around him. Once they had gained altitude and were flying steady, Evelyn slowly emerged from her hiding and peered down to the long drop below them then all around. What a sight and liberating sensation. Evelyn turned her attention to Sylas. He couldn’t flick up a smile when he was literally at the top of the world and didn’t even want to talk. Not a word. Pity. She rested her chin on his shoulder complacently and for a moment, considered enhancing his senses as her fingers splayed across his torso. But since he hadn’t used his powers on her yet, she repaid the favor and left him be.

Once grounded, she realized how ruffled Sylas was and though she used him as a wind blocker for some of the journey, she imagined her hair hadn’t made it in a pristine condition either. “Would you like my help down?” he offered.

“If you’d please,” Evelyn responded and reached out for him, her hands planted on his shoulders as a brace to slip down. Once she was officially grounded and smaller than him again, she smiled. “For a man with no strings, your etiquette is amazing.”

As she raked her fingers through her own hair, she finally paid mind to his fine attire. The number of people he must have fooled. Everything about Sylas was an absolute trap; he weaved a meticulous web, and suddenly she found herself as curious as a cat to know how many people he had captured in it and what the worse thing he caused was. Of all places, Sylas would likely be less inclined to answer her in Mount Olympus, so she dismissed it temporarily.

She placed her heels back on, laying a palm on the horse for balance as she bent down. She would have used Sylas again but even she felt that might have been pushing her luck. “I hope I didn’t offend you earlier,” she said in regards to their conversation in the hall, inferring he was a puppet, as she lifted her eyes to him. Again, Evelyn didn’t believe for a moment Sylas was the type to be offended, he was more: “a fool’s thought is my advantage.”

Evelyn finally straightened to full height again. “Tell me a secret.” Evelyn predicted he’d lie or refuse to answer, but his responses were indulging. Besides, it was he who didn’t want sweet words anymore so she may have well gone blunt. “What do you wish to see at this trial?” The fact that he was in attendance said there was some favor he was hoping to witness. Unfortunately for him, some actions were louder than words.

Here she was, minding her own business, head up in the clouds without a worry in the world. Then it happened - she collides with him. Gods only know who is genuinely at fault. His hand grasps her arm, and her own fingers are pressed upon his chest to keep the impact from going any further. For a quiet moment, which is likely more nerve-wracking for him than her, her head tilts back and her eyes seek his in brief shock. Ultimately, when all of that silence melts away, she gives him her kindest and warmest, deeply dimpled smile as if to reassure that all is well.

As was bound to happen, the duo begins to actually apologize at the same time! "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. It's like I can't even see in these things sometimes," he blurts, and she gets to her own string of sharing blame, "Oh, gods, I am such a klutz. Sometimes I don’t even know what’s up or down when I get into my own head."

As her gaze travels over him, as is only natural when encountering a new person, she notes the way he automatically protects himself from some ill-thing that has yet to happen. A flicker of concern crosses over her typically cheery features, but she's swift to put that smile right back on. After she removes her hand from his chest, she tries to adjust the collar of his shirt. Just because - she’s helpful like that, and it wasn’t patted down all the way.

"Are you going to the trial too?" He had asked her, but as she began to part her lips so that she could actually answer him, he had long since moved on to the next question in this spazz-tastic barrage of inquiries. "Umm...coffee?" This one came with a summoned cup of coffee, of which she knits her brows in confusion but is otherwise allowing him to bumble through without so much an expression of malice. "It probably would have been smarter if I got the jacket with it. And your order first. I've never been much of a barista, there's got to be like 1000 different forms and flavor of coffee." She gathers that anyone else might swat him away, but she’s finding this awkward encounter anything but - it’s kind of cute. Just when she went to grab it from him - because she would never say no to caffeine - he dropped it.

Not a problem - she can feel his nerves like they are her own. He’s speaking a million miles a minute, and she is formulating the correct way to respond to him in the meantime.

The conversation - if one could call it that at this point - takes another sharp turn into a new direction, and she hasn’t responded to anything yet. Aside from apologizing, and perhaps every so often a nod of her head and the sweet smile that stays stretched calmly across her lips. She’s waiting for that chance to slip in and speak, but for now… she allows him to lead their topic astray as she reckons he is finding familiarity in the Evelyn girl in an otherwise uncertain situation knowing that he is typically bound for some negative outcome.

"Evelyn. Evelyn!" Cherise observes the way his eyes drink the figure of the woman they were now near, and he is not blameless for that. Even she looked! "Evelyn, this is… Somebody I have the urge to call Summer so I'm glad I didn't.

The redhead stuck a hand out for Cherise to take, “Well, as he kindly called across the whole beach, I’m Evelyn, and that is my true name so thank you for that.”

”Cherise, and it's a pleasure. Pretty name,” she'd respond in kind, noting that Evelyn's attention is quick to flee elsewhere. Goodness, she's pretty, and her own self caught herself looking down at the unflattering ensemble she, herself, decided to wear. Not that she's jealous already.

Back to her would be barista, "I'm Keith." And there it was, the beginning of calm as he finally remembered that neither of them had the chance to introduce one to the other. Of course, she highly doubts that he was waiting for it.

Do you mind if we...?" he threw a finger back and forth between them. "We can yell our favorite hot beverages to each other."

”I’d love to ride with you,” she gets in those few words. As the pair make their way to the winged beast, ”I also would have loved any cup of coffee, if I am to be honest. I’m a bit of a caffeine freak.” When they finally locate their Pegasus, she allows him to get on first and offers him a small hand. She was going to give him a chance to be chivalrous with her; it’s a small move that she pulls with certain types of men to make them feel - well, maybe like strong able men. She finds it works wonders to settle their nerves. Maybe it wouldn’t work; who knows, but she attempts to pull off all of her How to Make Friends and Keep Them moves.

She settles behind him, slithering her arms around his waist for support - of course. Since she’s so close, she offers whispered words, ”Cherise, and you owe me a cup of coffee later.” Withdrawing just enough for her sultry breath to no longer stroke across his ear and neck, she steals an earbud from him to listen in one whatever tunes he is playing while on their wild ride to Olympus. She's trying to hold herself back from clinging to him for dear life, but she will... eventually, and she has a death grip, too.

Poseidon's daughter observed quietly from the sidelines as Eve attempts to weave her insidious craving for ceaseless drama into Wes’ thoughts. At least, Liv gleaned as much when an unusually stern voice is bearing the weight of Wes’ irritation onto the girl. From afar, it looked like some kind of way, but up close his frustrations with this is easy to see. His words were weary of the games, and his cabin is disarray had spoken more about his state of mind that the man himself did.

Of course, she allowed this strange transaction to take place without any interference. Liv wasn't really as much of the confrontational type as she wished she was, and Aphrodite's spawn seems to have everything under control. As Eve slithers away to go latch on to her next victim, dark verdant eyes chase after her - albeit briefly before returning to her present company.

As the blood borne beasts slowly begin to dwindle in number, she realizes that she'll likely have the one-armed man as company in the fight. It's no problem, of course, and she allows him to laboriously climb upon it in a way that made even Liv tired just to watch. For the sake of not emasculating him, and because she is so patient, she's doesn't feel bad for letting him do it himself. Yet, she offers him a hand so that he can help her up because she is tiny and this creature is more massive that normal horses. Eventually, she's up there behind him, her thighs clamping tightly in the sinewy equine so that she doesn't have to rely on Wes completely for the ride.

The entire flight would take place in silence, mostly so that she could allow her mind to process things.

* * *

Once they landed, Liv had made up her mind. Was she confident that she'd come out of it unscathed? No, she was not. Messing with what an Ares' child wanted, even if it was borne of emotion and likely spiraled out of some untruth, it was still like telling a small child "no" at the age of two. It just wasn't smart, but the brunette didn't have much to lose these days. She gives the Pegasus a quick pat along the neck shortly after Wes, mumbled something to it, and the riding duo drift off their separate ways.

One of those paths lead Liv straight to her target. She wrinkles her nose a time or two noting that Theo is nearby. You see, she's Team Wes and Trinity. Well, is any female at camp actually in that club? Probably not, but a decent friend is naturally Team Wes, which makes her very anti-Theo by default.

Now that's some real drama shit. But who is she kidding? There was no way to weasel her way quietly out of it, so she just boldly inserts herself right there in the thick of it. Maybe not so boldly because the thought of having to talk to the Ares child about such a sensitive subject in front of her reserve guy actually makes her sick to her stomach. The thought that she might have to rearrange her face later? Terrifying because she'd probably go find a corner in Olympus to go weep.

Does Olympus have many corners? She wondered, but realizes that she's slowly drifting off-topic in order to avoid the inevitable, and that is her pace quickening - a step or two to the right, and then a sharp pivot to face them when the time is right.

Welp, no turning back now!

She crosses her arms over her chest, attempting to shield at least some part of her - or at least mentally distance herself from the words that were about to spill from her lips. The woman's features retain a visibly neutral stance, and she opted for a tone to mimic the emotion dripping from her physical self. That was none. There's only fear bubbling at the surface of her skin, but she can pretend like it's not there for now.

”Trinity,” she addresses her first, leaving Theo only with a swift up and down glance before all attention is placed on the source of her approach. ”As a neutral party in this...” she trails off in a hissing sound whilst trying to conjure up a kinder name for this recent string of events, but found nothing. ”... drama series, starring one Wesley, possibly a devilish blonde woman, and then you, I feel that I should leave you with a thought. The tempestuous nature of an Ares' child emotional state is prime pickings for many Demigods here. How one can expect to uphold any stable relationship in this place is beyond me, but that's a theory I can delve in on another day. Today, however, as we venture into the realm of...” she looks at Theo again, this time her eyes stay locked on him as her next words are uttered, ”... bad choices." It's back to Trinity, "Possibly ones that you may not be able to take back, I find myself wondering if there is a way for a neutral party, like myself, to get you to be reasonable.”

Her tone soon becomes pointed, shying away from beating around the bush to offer a semblance of hard truth at the expense of her beautiful face, "Unlike women, men don't like games. Their man emotions can't handle them. They will pack up and move on from them in no time.” Yes, man emotions are a thing. They are right now, at least. "You catch Wes' eyes, and only you. Despite the fact that you embarrassed him in front of more than half the camp, I believe that you have a shot at redemption. I believe that, should you be interested in taking that shot, you should do so tonight and utilize the hot mess that has become his cabin as an opportunity to sort through your problems. I find cleaning therapeutic myself. If not, maybe it's time to let him go. I'd hate to see a tame child of Aphrodite go from kind to, well - you know. You are at a fork in the road, and unless you choose one path or the other, no one is going to be able to feel settled. Gods know what is in store for us in the future, but blurred emotions can be rather costly, no?”

There, that was her speech - delivered at the quick pace of fear. It was actually longer than she had imagined, like some sort of mindless rambling because her stupid mouth didn't know what to close itself. It's just happy to hold the shovel and dig, dig, dig. Then she just stand there - like an idiot waiting for something, but she expected the absolute worse. She'd shield herself already if she knew where the strike would take place, but with an Ares child you never know what you might get.

"Oh - and this blond girl: she's up to no good. I could hear the irritation in his voice,"” she adds because that's all she was supposed to say the first time around.

Image "I don't like the word 'hot'. Only vain or shallow people use that to describe someone. Yes. I've always found him very attractive," Andy had said, causing Mason to mirror her expression. He thought she might have fought Eve's powers for a split second, but instead she just rephrased to something more comfortable.

Mason hoped his light scolding towards Eve would play it all off and everyone could march on with their life but that wasn't allowed to be the case. "Who the hell are you asking?" Again, Mason turned wide eyed. Andy grew an attitude awful quick and he didn't hear Eve whisper anything about turning into a snappy gremlin. Then she smiled and took his arm and that was more frightening.

“Of course, I’d never presume to tell you what to do.” Evangeline replied as calm as ever. She went onto her tip toes and before he could register what she was after, she had snatched a quick peck on his lips and withdrawn.

Mason glared at her before Andy started to pull his arm. "I'm sure Princess here is fine with sharing. Obviously, she's above being jealous if she wants every girl to admit how hot you are."

When they had turned their backs, Eve seized the final word. “Have fun you two.”

There was a whole mood around Andy so the ride wouldn't be the 'most fun' one. He opted for silence like her. Andy approached a horse and rather than jump onto the creature's back, she stopped and turned to him. "Can you help me up... Please?" Mason grabbed her waist and hoisted her up. He wanted to adjust her dress too, making sure no one saw more of Andy than they had to but that wasn't his place. She could straighten herself out. He climbed aboard and Andy's hands slid around his waist, almost reluctantly.

"I don't have cooties, Andy." If she was worried about Hades germs than she should have gone with someone else but as long as she held on.

Silence had seemed to fill the beginning of the flight so he thought that would be the case for the whole journey. He was wrong. "Babe!?" She suddenly demanded out loud. Mason jumped a little.

"Christ, Andy what's the problem?" he demanded back. Mason tried to glance over his shoulder at her. "What the hell is it to you? I mean is it so impossible that I could have found someone?" Rather than deny going out with Eve or even being a fling he found himself being defensive over it. The shit he had to endure when Ajax and Andy were in five feet of each other, when they were at the fire... and Eve had called him babe and pecked him and she wanted to question it.

Arriving on Olympus, Mason couldn't even take in the sight. And this was probably the first and last time he'd be granted on Olympus. He climbed off the horse right away and helped Andy down despite his mood with her. He held her arm tightly so she didn't dare storm off on him. "I don't need to ask your permission to find a girl. Especially after what you did," he whispered furiously. Giving herself to Ajax who screwed two girls and only gave a shit about himself was worse than Eve's antics, she had no right to get involved in his love/lust life. "I can kiss, date and fuck whoever I want, however I want, wherever I want. Maybe at the next little party we have, I'll show you that." Mason wasn't above revenge or putting people back in their place so she could bet that was a promise.

He released her. "Maybe you'll finally get some proper attention from your own boyfriend when Alex dies."

Image ”I’d love to ride with you,” Keith found himself grinning when she had agreed to jump on the horse with him. He almost wanted to ask her to repeat if there wasn't such a risk of being deemed incompetent. And the first thing he had done casually all day was walk with her to their transport. ”I also would have loved any cup of coffee, if I am to be honest. I’m a bit of a caffeine freak.”

Keith nodded. "We all have a little demon in us," he agreed. Keith hung back in case his company had a preference of seating or any expert tips on how to mount a pegasus, but she hung back too and Keith got the cue to clamber on first. She held her hand out and he took her soft palm, trying to help her on.

She slid her arms around him and Keith stiffened slightly, not that it was a problem, he just wasn't one blessed with womanly contact often. Or at all. But he eased into it. ”Cherise, and you owe me a cup of coffee later.”

Keith chuckled to himself. "Sounds fair," he said before she nipped one of his earbuds. Gods knew what she'd be stuck listening to with the variety he had on his device ranging from the stuff mortal parents crank up to a 90s party, to the smooth melodies and the newest stuff. He only hoped it appeased her. The last thing he needed was criticism on his music taste. He found himself replacing the spare in his own ear and the song that was playing almost conveyed his feelings: MJ's 'The Way You Make Me Feel.' Keith cursed himself but remembered the assumption of others wasn't always to see things so pointedly. It was an iPod on shuffle after all.

The boy wasn't a comfortable flyer, but the presence of Cherise was distracting. Even more so when her grip would tighten dangerously around him, he had to become more focused on breathing and hoping she wouldn't press too hard on his wound dressing. Reaching Mount Olympus in one piece was a relief and he let out a breath he didn't know he was holding - or forced to hold thanks to certain arms constricting him. He plucked his earbud back gently from her with a smile and jumped down the horse then offered her a hand down. "Congratulations, we made it." It probably wasn't much of an achievement to her who was beauty and grace, but he put his hand up awaiting a celebratory high-five.

"Sooo since I'm learning more about you and you had a brief preview of my song collection," he wiggled his music device before tucking it away in his pocket. "Do you have a favorite genre or song?" He awaited her answer eagerly. Music didn't define a person in whole but it did say a bit about them. "Just don't let it be techno, I have faith in you."

Eve actually snorted as the skittish blonde thing pointed to her eyes then up at Eve. As if she were in some bad 80’s movie. Admittedly, the little girl probably wasn’t any more petite than Eve was, but it felt like she was smaller with her meek nature. And the way she scrawled in that childish notebook. It was pathetic to think she could do anything to Eve.

Luckily, the gorgeous blonde waved his two ever present companions off, watching them take flight before turning his attention back to her. He slid up behind her with far too much ease, as if he actually trusted this giant beast.

"I have knowledge of horse riding, so just hang on and clamp your legs to the sides of the horse. That's what you mostly use to hang onto it. And try not to do anything.” Now Eve, if she were standing on solid ground, would have made crude innuendo about clamping something with her legs, but all lewd jokes were stripped from her mind at the large horse’s feet pranced off the ground. And she was left to grab onto anything she could, not even her ego could stop her clutching horrified to the animal.

It took them hours and hours to get to Olympus, or at least it seemed that long in her petrified brain. She was glad when they touched down and the blonde behind her helped her down. The moment her toes touched the ground she smirked, letting her ego and composure snap back in place. Happy to pretend that moment of weakness never happened. “Let’s do that again. But the next time without the horse.” She smirked up at him.

"As a reminder to you kids, there will be no use of your powers during Alexandria's trial. Do I make myself clear?" Eve spun around at the voice, she was no stranger to the stink eye Athena was giving her. She thought over the rule, truly she hadn’t considered using her powers to influence the trial, she didn’t really care enough about the fate of Alexandria. Not that a rule would stop her.

"Yes mother." Her flight companion answered, all polite and obedient. God, he was gorgeous, guys with long blonde hair were totally her type, Pete said it was because they reminded her of herself and she couldn’t argue with that logic. But did he have to be so dull. Not that he’d be the first hot but dull guy she ever slept with.

She looked up at him with a raised eyebrow and whispered quiet enough that Athena wouldn’t hear. Mother? Don’t tell me you’re a mummy’s boy?” Now that was an unattractive trait.

She flicked her gaze back to the waiting Athena with a playful smile. Eve raised her left hand as if she were completing a pledge. “I swear to be on my best behaviour.” Her lofty tone was hardly compelling, but she hadn’t done anything wrong. Yet. So she gave the Goddess an obviously fake smile until she left the two of them alone again. Turning back to Athena’s son she grinned and motioned to where his mother had disappeared, “She sure seems like the warm cuddly type.” Not that Hera had been a hands-on bundle of warmth throughout her childhood.

Eve watched the different pairings arrive by way of horseback, she expected meek girl to come running back to his side, but instead she met with an older woman before disappearing in some strange flying thing. Eve’s eyes tracked the movement. “Looks like she’s abandoned you in my care. Guess she must trust me.” She looked up at him with a wicked smile, curiosity about their relationship working its way into her mind. “Are she and you a thing? In the biblical sense I mean.” She didn’t bother putting on an act or using her magic on him, he seemed a little too boring to be worth the effort. She wasn't getting secret keeper vibes.

“If you’d please.” Sylas didn't know if he was surprised or impressed that Evelyn accepted his help. Once her hands were on his shoulders, he took her waist, lifting her off the pegasus and gently lowered her down to the ground. She gave him a polite smile as he released his hold on her. “For a man with no strings, your etiquette is amazing.”

Sylas smirked slightly, nodding his head toward her. "You may not like me, but I do believe in chivalry." He slid his hands into the pockets of his pants as he stood there patiently. He went to offer Evelyn a head to steady herself as she put her shoes back on, but the horse sufficed just the same.

That slowly followed after the group, but Sylas was in no rush to get anywhere. Olympus was definitely a grand and beautiful place. It reminded him of home, vast, expensive and cold. It was like a palace where everything felt over the top and ornate, like breathing on something could break it and would cost more than someone's soul to Hades. “I hope I didn’t offend you earlier,” Evelyn's voice brought his attention back to her instead of their new surroundings.

Sylas let out a soft chuckle, shaking his head nonchalantly. "It takes a lot more than that to offend me." He then leaned his head down slightly toward her with a slight smirk. "But I appreciate the apology all the same."

“Tell me a secret.”

Sylas stopped where he was, turning around completely to face Evelyn. My my was she intriguing. Her straight forward nature and bluntness continued to surprise him. It kept him on his toes and it was rare for someone to keep him guessing. He quirked a brow while cocking his head slightly. "A secret? You don't ask for much," he jested. Sylas then held up his hands in surrender. "Very well, what shall it be?"

“What do you wish to see at this trial?”

He let out a soft laugh, nodding his head. Good question. He pursed his lips thinking of an appropriate answer. Sylas then leaned in to speak softly into her ear so only Evelyn could hear him. "I want to be entertained." He smiled toward her, remaining at her height for a moment before he slowly stood upright again. Then after a brief moment, he decided to ask his own question. "Alright, Evelyn, tell me a secret." He smirked mischievously.

Sylas prolonged his question, letting it incubate and fester. What did Evelyn think he was going to ask? Something deep, perhaps blackmail? But no, he'd keep playing the game. He'd never admit it out loud but he enjoyed their little game of cat and mouse. "Why is such a stunning young woman, such as yourself, wasting your precious time on me?" To anyone else, it looked like flirting. And of course, to some extent it was. But underneath it was his real curiosity... Why was Evelyn Masters in his presence when she, no doubt, saw through his charade. She had his interest, whether she wanted it or not.

"Christ, Andy what's the problem?" Andy met his gaze when he looked over his shoulder at her. "What the hell is it to you? I mean is it so impossible that I could have found someone?" She never once shifted her gaze from his, holding it intently until he turned forward. She said nothing more, not for the flight anyway. She knew Mason and knew that once he was mad, nothing would stop him until it ended with her in tears and him throwing everything back in her face. It always went that way.

When they arrived to Olympus, the Pagsus's hooves were barely on the pavement before Mason slid off its back. Then he promptly helped her down, whether she was ready to descend or not. Andy didn't fight it. There was no chance for her to walk away, Mason had a tight grasp of her arm before she could take a step. "I don't need to ask your permission to find a girl. Especially after what you did," he whispered, but the fury was there.

Andy used his hold on her hand to pull him closer to her, so that her whispers would only be heard by him. "I will not let you make a scene." She didn't explain why, he knew. That's all they needed was for them to have a screaming match on the doorstep of the Acropolis before the trail for his sister's murderer. Regardless of however mad he made her, she wouldn't make the chances for a just trial be ruined from his anger.

She started to walk away from the rest of the campers, turning around a corner so that they were not seen by anyone. Andy pivoted swiftly on her heels turning to face Mason. Before she spoke, her hands pressed to his chest pushing him angrily. "Why do you always do that!?" She didn't yell for hear of being over heard, but even in hushed tones her voice was still fierce. "You always always judge me for mistakes I made... And use it against me. You only care about the story you heard, not the truth... not my truth."

Andy took a step toward him so they were less than a foot apart, looking straight up into his eyes without falter. "I was drunk. It is not a valid excuse and I'm not making excuses for my behavior. But when I woke up... in that bed where he slept with those girls. I had a mental breakdown, Mason. I was on the floor crying because I couldn't believe what I just did. But you don't care. You only care that it happened."

Her hand trembled as she raised it to pinch the bridge of her nose, trying to keep herself calm. Andy was struggling to find the words and struggling even more not to shout. "I want you to be happy, genuinely, Mason. But that... harpy? Do you think I'm a fucking idiot? I know you, better than anyone and you looked more uncomfortable than me when she showed up. So don't you dare lie to me. Don't you dare!" She jabbed her index finger into his chest as she spoke. "I have never lied to you!"

"I can kiss, date and fuck whoever I want, however I want, wherever I want. Maybe at the next little party we have, I'll show you that." Andy took a step back, finally letting her gaze drift away from his. "Maybe you'll finally get some proper attention from your own boyfriend when Alex dies."

Without missing a beat, Andy's hand raised and slapped Mason straight across his face. It wasn't the pathetic theatrically slaps most ditzy girls did for attention, but a powerful one, hard enough to make her hand sting. The second after she did that, she took a step back with a gasp, shocked at his hurtful words and her own temper. "Damn it," she cursed under her breath as she looked away from him, trying to blink back tears.

"What do you want?" Whatever anger that was in her voice was gone. Andy was just trying to remain strong after his painful words, to hold onto what pride she still had. "What?" She finally looked back at him. "Do you want to hear the truth? That I am jealous? Yes, Mason... I am jealous. I have no right to be... But I am." Andy shrugged her shoulders, defeated. She didn't know what his goal was, to hurt her or get her to admit it. But, there is was.

"You're so hurtful... You know that? I wish it was that easy for you to say how you really feel." Andy had nothing else to say. She turned from him before he could see the tear fall down her cheek and walked a bit farther down the path, farther from everyone else. She wasn't ready to return to everyone else. With a sigh, she sat herself on a ledge surrounded an ornate flower bed. Her right leg bounced as she tried to calm herself, her gaze fixated on her hands as they fidgeted in her lap. This fight felt different... Like the aftermath would ruin everything. If Mason wanted nothing to do with her anymore, it wouldn't surprise her. Andy tried to keep a stiff upper lip, but when she thought she was alone it over came her. She quickly put her hand over her mouth to suppress her sobs.

“I’m not sure I know what that means.” It was now obvious to Sloane that Pete had never been on a horse, probably had never even been this close to one. “I’m a city kid, we don’t do horses.”

"Back it is then," Sloane answered her own question before scooting up on the Pegasus. "I am... not a city kid," she replied as if that also was not evident.

Sloane helped Pete up onto the horse behind her, her hands outstretched slightly, prepared to steady him as he settled himself. "So just use your thighs," she said pointing to either one of his legs. "To grip the Pegasus. And uh... you then just hold onto me for support." She looked forward, bashful about actually speaking those words. She couldn't remember if she ever had to share a ride with someone else and she most definitely never had a man's arms around her... Unavoidable at that current moment.

“My life’s in your hands horse girl.”

"Don't worry," Sloane reassured them as they took flight up into the sky. She kept a firm yet loose hold on the mane of the Pegasus, being sure to keep the animal as steady and unchanging as possible. There was only so much she could do if either one of them lost their balance.

Once they were in flight and away from prying ears, Pete addressed the earlier conversation once more. “As a son of Hera, equating one’s deal to their parentage isn’t really sufficient in my book.” He was a persistent one, that was for sure.

Sloane was quiet for a long moment, before finally speaking up. "You and I both know that for our siblings, it is." She hadn't had the pleasure of speaking to his sister yet, but she saw some of her handiwork just moments ago. Of course, it was an assumption that the blonde was his sister... but two new campers, one tried to manipulate her to learn about her brother, they both arrive the same day? It was easy to connect those dots.

She didn't add anything further, letting them finish their flight in silence. Once they arrived in Olympus, Pete quickly looked as confused as he did when they left, the idea of descending the beast just as daunting. "Hold on," Sloane reassured him before she slid off the Pegasus's back. "Ok," She said as she turned back toward him. "Move this leg onto this side of the horse." She was on her tip toes, tapping the leg she mentioned with her fingertips before motioning her hand in guidance. "Now just slip off like a slide." Sloane held out both of her hands for him, if he wished for her aid.

When Pete had his own two feet on the ground, Sloane remained closer to him for just a moment. She looked up at him, holding his dark gaze as she spoke nearly too quiet to hear. "He's dangerous... You should stay away from him." She nodded her head and took a step back. "And if you were smart, you'd stay away from me too." Sloane trailed after the other campers, running her fingers through her hair as she attempted to fix what the wind messed up. She hoped her words of caution were enough. If anyone was smart they'd stay away from her brother, but she couldn't very well wear a shirt saying her brother was bad news. That'd only end badly for her.

The ride to Olympus was peaceful enough. Nothing too out of the ordinary. Trinity was mostly quiet as they soared upward through the clouds. The rush of the air reminded Theo of being a wolf. It was just a little but more unnerving being in the air.

“Do you turn into other animals?”

Theo glanced over his shoulders. He had hardly heard her as the wind drowned out most other noise. He thought about it for a second. Theo wasn't actually sure if he could turn into other animals or not. He had never tried. It was a question that peaked his curiosity though. What if he could turn into one of the more majestic birds and fly?

"I'm actually not sure," Theo yelled, letting his voice pierce the noise around them, "I've never tried. Maybe I'll talk to my lovely mother about it when we get up on the mountain."

As they arrived at Olympus, Theo took in his surroundings with a touch of awe. There was literally excitement in the air, and everything exploded with color and wonder. He nodded to Trinity when she asked to walk around, but almost immediately they were approached by another demigod that Theo did not recognize. She looked frantic, and Theo felt something odd was about to said.

"Trinity, as a neutral party in this... drama series, starring one Wesley, possibly a devilish blonde woman, and then you, I feel that I should leave you with a thought. The tempestuous nature of an Ares' child emotional state is prime pickings for many Demigods here. How one can expect to uphold any stable relationship in this place is beyond me, but that's a theory I can delve in on another day. Today, however, as we venture into the realm of... bad choices. Possibly ones that you may not be able to take back, I find myself wondering if there is a way for a neutral party, like myself, to get you to be reasonable. Unlike women, men don't like games. Their man emotions can't handle them. They will pack up and move on from them in no time. You catch Wes' eyes, and only you. Gods know what is in store for us in the future, but blurred emotions can be rather costly, no? Oh - and this blond girl: she's up to no good. I could hear the irritation in his voice."

Theo took a deep breath. The girl cycled between looking at Trinity and Theo throughout the speech. He wasn't exactly sure who she was or why she was doing this, but he wasn't really here for it. Theo didn't look at himself as a bad choice. He would say he was the better choice. Wes couldn't protect Trinity. Wes couldn't keep Trinity calm in crisis. Theo was better for her., and just as he felt he was making progress, this girl had to come blow it up.

Theo checked back into the world around him after stewing on his anger for a few seconds, but he managed to breathe and keep his mouth shut, waiting for Trinity to respond first. Would he hold her back if she exploded?

When Liv approached she tried to smile but the daughter of Poseidon couldn't even conjure a hello before diving into a lecture. “Trinity, As a neutral party in this...drama series, starring one Wesley, possibly a devilish blonde woman, and then you, I feel that I should leave you with a thought. The tempestuous nature of an Ares' child emotional state is prime pickings for many Demigods here. How one can expect to uphold any stable relationship in this place is beyond me, but that's a theory I can delve in on another day. Today, however, as we venture into the realm of...” Liv shifted her focus to Theo and Trinity narrowed her eyes “...bad choices.” She resolved to call Theo making Trinity's eyes widen. “Possibly ones that you may not be able to take back, I find myself wondering if there is a way for a neutral party, like myself, to get you to be reasonable.”

What departed from the daughter of Poseidon's mouth quickly changed Trinity's attitude towards her. Bad choices that she can't take back? Fuck, it wasn't like Trinity was pregnant with Theo. She rubbed her face in agitation and took in a deep breath to collect herself. “Liv, don't you think it's kinda none of your business. At all?” She tried to offer calmly, though the warning was packed under it.

“Unlike women, men don't like games. Their man emotions can't handle them. They will pack up and move on from them in no time.” Was that some sort of threat that she'd lose them? "You catch Wes' eyes, and only you. Despite the fact that you embarrassed him in front of more than half the camp, I believe that you have a shot at redemption.”

Trinity's fist clenched as it became apparent Liv was some lapdog of Wes's. She embarrassed him!? She had to try redemption!? Her thumb eagerly stroked over her closed fingers. Since Liv had the desire to unload all her unwanted input, Trinity let her out with it.

“I believe that, should you be interested in taking that shot, you should do so tonight and utilize the hot mess that has become his cabin as an opportunity to sort through your problems.

The blonde began to pace somewhere in her speech to stop from attacking one of Poseidon's proteges. That new nuisance girl might not have known better but Liv did. She tried to find an excuse not to lunge at her but she could only think one: because she was in Olympus...one reason not to, opposed to the other hundred screaming to do it. Poseidon kids had healing properties so it would be fine. It wouldn't save her from the pain but she'd recover.

“Oh - and this blond girl: she's up to no good. I could hear the irritation in his voice.”

Trinity smiled humorlessly. That's rich. That was the last thought that rang in her mind before she shoved Liv hard into a stone pillar, and planted her arm at the girl's neck. Squirming and retaliation from Liv only made Trinity retaliate back, throwing a fist into her and driving her knee into the girl until a vicious cycle had quickly begun of hits and blows.

She wasn't sure who threw who but they had crashed to the floor of Olympus and Trinity wrestled for control. Just as she readied a fist to hit Liv square in the face, some arms seized her off the ground for a split second, her arms pinned across her chest and back to the person holding her. She kept her fuming gaze on Liv until she was turned around so Liv was out of view. Trinity found herself squirming to get her arms free but they didn't give her the leverage or momentum. “I'm fine,” she growled.

They took her away into some private quarters and eventually they realeased her and Trinity shook it out, pacing like a caged animal.

He laughed softly and Evelyn browsed him head to toe. Not long after he had conjured his answer leaning in her ear. “I want to be entertained.” Plain and simple answer for a not so plain and simple man. Yet it was true no doubt. He always gave the bare minimum as response to his intentions. Something that sufficed but never really fulfilled her intrigue.

She continued the mindless stroll, taking about two steps away before he spoke again. “Alright, Evelyn, tell me a secret.” She turned to him startled and met that smirk. Foresight wasn't one of her gifts however she should have judged the situation and company better to know he wouldn't ask something in return. She was equally frightened as intrigued to hear what it would be.

“Go on...”

After drawing it out for some time he finally spoke. “Why is such a stunning young woman, such as yourself, wasting your precious time on me?”

Her mouth parted thinking an answer to reply with easy but she couldn't. Once they reached Olympus they could have parted ways straight away, but she had chosen to stick around like she had chosen to approach him in the hall and save him from being mauled in capture the flag. Evelyn was rendered speechless and smiled at the situation. His question was disarming and she didn't see him asking that....ever. Touche, Sylas. She averted her gaze to the floor. “Maybe I'm just a fly in a web that thinks I can change the nature of a spider,” she said.

She never pursued the quest to transform Sylas to a "better man" - Evelyn was never about changing people for better or worse. But there was a chance she was getting in over her head playing these games with him. A large part of her was attracted to the sport and thrill of his nature and that's where the truth sat in her statement.

She lifted her head again meeting his eyes. “Have you considered I could be...distracting you from mass mayhem?” She touched his upper arm. If things turned south in their wicked game, it was better to be in contact with him, additionally, the touch also emphasised her next point. “I could...want you all to myself. Maybe I want you to show me what it's like to be a little dark.” Evelyn smirked. Mainly it was a joke. Evelyn lived a dull life thus had plenty of time to imagine what it was like on the dark side of the scales and found there was something alluring about it. Something about taking full advantage of one's powers. But she knew better.

Since he had been honest in his answers, she cut the sarcasm. “You're my newest subject of interest.” And that was the perfect sufficing truth. She tested him, he tested her and she was curious about him. A subject he was. “If I bother you, however...” She turned her back on Sylas, heading to the overlook of where Alex's trial would be held, resting her palms on the bannister. He could fill in the blank.

Somewhere off there was a commotion with grunts and all sorts being heard, but Evelyn didn't even pay it a glance, too busy observing the arena below. Something much more rare and fascinating than a fight.

Son of Zeus || Hex: Green Outfit: XXX

Image Ajax had been inside of his own head the entire time until someone had come over to join him and introduced themselves as Ethan. "Hi, do you mind if I join you? You're Lord Zeus's son, right? My name is Ethan Knox and I am Hestia's son. I am sorry we're meeting under these circumstances."

"Just call him Zeus. No need for formalities."

He smiled and raised his brows as he looked down for a second with a slight laugh. "Nope, but I don't mind the company this time. Yeah, it's not the best time to meet someone new considering the reason we're here, but... it's because you're new that I'm allowing you to spend a moment with me" he joked. For such a long time he had felt like mr.doom and gloom. It wasn't only Alex who had lost herself... it was him too.

He turned his back to the white stoned balcony of the acropolis and leaned against it as he held his hand out for Ethan to shake, before folding his arms. "Good to meet you. What do you think about Camp and the others so far?"

As he spoke to Ethan, he couldn't help but notice Andy and Mason. The two of them had been a lot closer lately, which just made Ajax twist his jaw slightly. He wasn't blind, he could see that Andy had feelings for Mason, and possibly preferred the Son of Hades, regretted them sleeping together, and wished it was actually Mason than him. That stung, since everything he felt for her was real, and everything that he had told her, how he felt, and the moments they had shared together. She could have said no that night, but she didn't.

No doubt she grew tired of him not giving her all the attention she needed, but Mason could. The smiles Mason could give her, the need to want to be there for him.

Ajax didn't have Andy's support at all since she was so certain that Alex was a monster. How wrong she was. How wrong they both were. It was so easy for Mason to put the blame on someone else, someone that he hated due to his father's pathetic and constant need to reach the throne, and claim mount Olympus as his own while the titans got the revenge on Zeus. Of course, Mason wouldn't look to blame his father, especially since Hades fed his own son a load of bullshit.

The very second that Mason roughly grabbed her, Ajax clenched his fists. "Sorry, Ethan... I'll be back" he said, before storming in the direction of Andy and Mason. He followed them while prepping what to say, along the lines of: You, EVER, grab her like that, again? and I'll break your damn hand!" but he stopped when he rounded the corner and watched as Andy slapped Mason with all the strength she could muster. He would have been proud of her, but what he caught her saying after that had burnt him like lava burning away at his very heart.

"Do you want to hear the truth? That I am jealous? Yes, Mason... I am jealous. I have no right to be... But I am. You're so hurtful... You know that? I wish it was that easy for you to say how you really feel."

Even though he had a feeling that Andy liked Mason a lot more than just friends... it still hurt. He stood there a few feet behind her with a look on his face that just still couldn't believe what he had heard. "Maybe it would be easier if you were both honest for once." Ajax glared at Andy with anger and pain, then headed back to Ethan. "I can tell you what I think of Camp so far... it's full of liars."

Image "Oh yeah... Sure," he answered while making his way over to her. His response didn't feel like his usual enthusiastic nature, so it wasn't hard to know that something was wrong, and her first guess was Trinity. It couldn't have possibly been about him worrying for his best friend, surely.

She greeted him with a smile, one that was the best she could do as her hand pulled her bag's strap a little further onto her right shoulder. "I would come back later, but... I'm not sure if this will be the last time I get to see you." she regretted the words that left her mouth, but it was true. She didn't know.

She looked into her bag, and carefully pulled out the perfect mechanical arm. "Duke made it for you. I'm just sorry that I took so long to get it to you. He had to remind me to bring it with everything that has been going on." she furrowed her brows apologetically, then looked at the arm to admire it. "It looks so lifelike. You won't be able to even tell you're missing a limb at all." she laughed as she made the mechanical-finger pick his nose. Not literally to pick it, but to tickle it.

Even though Athena couldn't hear what the young demigoddess was whispering, she could still see her. Soon the young girl gave her own 'promise' not cause trouble. Both mother and son could tell she wasn't going to cause any issues yet. The girl might as well had said it. Athena would have said something else, but soon her attention was diverted by a fight between Ares's daughter and a brunette.

"Excuse me." she replied before rushing forward and ordered several men to separate the two.

"That is quite enough! I don't know how this fight started, but I won't tolerate here regardless.

"I'm fine," Trinity growled.

"I am glad to know that Trinity. I think for now you could use a few minutes to calm down. Take her some place safe."

That last one was for the one men holding Trinity. They nodded and took her way. Athena then went to find Ares. It didn't take her long.

"You might want to have a word with your daughter. She just got into a fight and it might be best if she had someone to vent to so she can be as clear-headed as possible for the trial." Athena told him before going off to make sure the preparations for the trial were ready.

Heath saw the whole thing and took a deep breath before focusing back on the blonde who was with him. He purposely ignore the innuendoes she gave him and just focused on a few things.

"Iliana is my adopted sister. We are close, but not in the way you're implying. And I merely respect my mother's orders. Do you follow your parent's orders?" Heath deliberately asked her a yes or no question just to see if she would lie or not.

"Just call him Zeus. No need for formalities."

Ethan chuckled at that.

"I'll try, but it may be awhile. I was raised in Southern USA and manners and formalities were drilled into me since Day 1."

Plus, addressing the Ruler of Olympus as anything else was easier said then done. He doubt he'd ever get comfortable enough around the god to drop the "Lord" part. Well time would tell. The demigod next to him soon asked what he thought of camp so far.

"Hmm, good question. My companions and I only arrived a short while ago, but plenty has happened so far. As far as what I've seen and who I've met, it has been intense, but I can't give you my verdict yet on that since I still don't know everyone. As far as the camp itself, I am very impressed with how big it is and I am loving the architecture! I'll admit though, this place is just amazing! Looking at all the buildings here is giving me so many ideas for future projects! I am going to college for my architect degree. At the moment I am taking a break though to come here and help my friend, Heath, with his adopted sister. Heath was the one who addressed you and your sister back at camp. We did find his adopted sister. She's currently with her mother, Demeter."

Ethan stopped talking when the demigod's attention became diverted by something else. Turning he saw what he was looking at and remembered seeing the duo before, only the blonde was missing. He didn't hear the words, but he caught on they were arguing about something. This made Ethan recall the fight between Wesley and that other blonde. The one petite blonde had been around them too and she had been the same one to snag Heath too. Was she influencing these people somehow? That pair hadn't been arguing before she arrived. When Zeus's son returned, he was obviously angry and his next words didn't surprise Ethan in the slightest.

"I can tell you what I think of Camp so far... it's full of liars."

"Well that's a darn shame. I won't ask what happened since it's none of my business, but I do want to make you aware of someone. I saw that pair right before we left for Olympus and they weren't arguing. There was this petite short hair blonde hair girl with them. She recently influenced my friend Heath somehow to go with her, I think to ride with her. I could be wrong here, but it wouldn't surprise me if she had the ability to influence people around her. I just don't trust her. Unfortunately I don't know her name. Heath's actually keeping an eye on her now. I just thought I'd should warn you though. Oh by the way, I don't think I ever got your name."

Suddenly someone else came up on Ethan's other side.

"Well there you are. Just can't stop talking can you my boy?" Hestia said, looking at her son with a humorous glint in her eyes.

"Oh, hi mom! What are you doing here?"

"I just came by to see you, Ethan before heading to the trial. It'll me my job to help keep everyone 'cool, calm, and collected'. Of course that might be easier said then done given the situation. Well then, I'll let you two continue your chat. We can talk after the trial, Ethan."

Soon the goddess left them.

Iliana had created several wreaths made of orange gladiolus flowers in no time flat and with her mother returned back to the others. First two people Iliana saw was Zeus's son and Ethan. She approached them quickly and could feel anger coming from the dark hair man. She actually hesitated coming forward at first. Demeter, who was also carrying her daughter's notepad, placed a hand on Iliana's shoulder.

"It's okay sweetie.

Ethan turned to see the mother and daughter duo.

"Hello ladies. Iliana, did you make those wreaths?

Iliana nodded before hiding behind Demeter. Her mother smiled and turned to Zeus's son.

"My daughter is very shy Ajax. She knows you've been having a rough time lately and wanted to give you a gladiolus wreath to help cheer you up. She picked that flower because it means strength and she hopes you'll have the strength to get through these trying times. Go on and give one to him Iliana."

Iliana, trembling at this point, manage to come forward, give a wreath to Ajax, and suddenly rushed off, wanting to get away from his anger. Demeter wasn't far behind her.

Ethan sighed and turned back to a Ajax.

"Don't mind Iliana. She's been through a lot herself recently and is very wary of people she doesn't know. It's actually why she doesn't talk at the moment. So if you see her writing in a notebook, it's basically how she 'talks' now. Heath and I are hoping this camp will help her find her voice again and the 'old' Iliana can return. But hey at least now I know your name. Ajax right?"

It didn't take long for Demeter to catch up with Iliana.

"That was rude of you to leave like that Lia. I want you to apologize to him later okay?" Demeter gently scolded her.

Iliana nodded and the continued walking before coming upon someone else who was near a cliff near some flowers. Her emotions were just radiating off of her and Iliana could tell they were a complete mess. She was also trying hard not to sob and it was starting to affect Iliana. Turning to her mother, she gave her the wreathes she was holding before taking her notebook and pen from her mother and wrote something.

"Who is that mother? She looks like she could use a wreath."

Demeter smiled and gestured her to follow her. When they got closer, Demeter greeted her.

"Hello, you're Hecate's daughter, Andromeda correct? I am Demeter and this is my daughter, Iliana. Are you going to be okay sweetie? I know you've had a tough time last year and Iliana made some wreaths because she wanted to cheer people up. She was hoping she could give one to you since it looks like you needed some comfort. Is that alright with you. Iliana can't speak at the moment, so she tries to find other ways to communicate."

Eve watched the cat fight go down out of the corner of her eye, no surprise at Trinity taking the starring role. What an attention hog. The truly shocking part was that Eve had been pleasantly minding her own business when it all went down, turns out they didn’t even need her to turn on each other like savages. Though she wondered what all the fuss was about.

She was wondering how to find out, when the tall, blonde and handsome beside her spoke, capturing her attention. "Iliana is my adopted sister. We are close, but not in the way you're implying.” Of course, like the bore he was, he ignored all her innuendos and cut straight to the point.

She rolled her eyes, and fought a grimace. Honestly, she would have left him the moment their monstrous mount touched down if he wasn’t so good looking. Playing with him was no fun. “And I suppose you’re too boring to dapple in a spot of adoptive-incest?”

Again he ignored her more outrageous comment, and she felt like stripping naked just to get a reaction out of the guy. Instead though he continued on, answering her earlier comment. “And I merely respect my mother's orders. Do you follow your parent's orders?"

Eve barely took in his words as her eyes tracked movement to off to her left, Mason and Andy looking very disgruntled disappeared around the a corner. Now that was a conversation she’d eat her left foot to overhear. “Wouldn’t know, don’t got any.” She answered airily, a truthful answer though, she didn’t consider that pathetic family who housed her and her bother as parents, nor did she follow their orders. Hera was a mother of sorts, but she’d never bothered with Eve enough to give any commands. “That's why I had more fun than you did growing up.” And there was the lie. A large chunk of Eve's childhood consisted of fending for herself and Pete, receiving a cold shoulder from both her father and step mother.

Eyes on the resulting chaos of the fight Eve decided her next course of action and she looked back at the blonde with a flirty grin. She grabbed his hand, rubbing the palm on his hand with her thumb, making sure she had physical contact before using her magic. “Be a doll, go over there,” She nodded towards where the fight had taken place, “and find out what happened for me.”

What that command, she dropped his hand and skulked over to where Andy and Mason had disappeared. Hiding around the corner, manipulating the shadows to help hide her presence, she got there just in time to hear the tail end of their conversation. And she wasn’t the only one either as Ajax stormed past her all furious and thundery. "Maybe it would be easier if you were both honest for once." Eve stepped further into the shadows, as he stormed back out the way he came, not noticing her.

The moment Andy’s footsteps faded from hearing, Eve popped out from around the corner, walking towards Mason’s back. “Yikes, looks like that didn’t go too well,” She said to him as she slinked up behind him, wrapping her arms around his neck. Trapping him before he could go after Andy. “Don’t worry, I’d be happy to fix it for you,” She whispered into his ear and with a laugh she released him, but not before planting a kiss on the side of his neck.

She danced away from him, in the direction that Andy had taken. She wore an amused smirk as her eyes wandered further down the path. “Did your poor precious heart skip a bit when she said the J word?” She held a mocking hand over her own heart as she stepped back towards Mason, her other hand reaching to his to make physical contact. Then she used her words to influence his, “Be honest.”

“Hold on,” Sloane told him, and that was when Pete realised he still hand an arm clamped tightly around her midsection even though they were now firmly on the ground. He let her go and she slid from the horse, all grace and composure. He wondered where she did grow up if not the city, was she a country kid surrounded by lands and horses?

He listened to all her instructions with a grim nod. "Now just slip off like a slide." He looked down at her for a moment before deciding he had to get down one way or another, and doing it in the hold of a pretty girl wasn’t the worst way.

So he grabbed her outstretched hands and slipped of the great big beast. "I swear I'm good at plenty of other things," He muttered as he moved. He landed on two feet which was good, but he was also a little too close to Sloane for comfort, however she didn’t move away, and he didn’t drop her hands.

"He's dangerous... You should stay away from him." Her voice barely seemed audible, but Pete heard the words and understood their meaning. Their moment of shared secrets was broken as she backed away from him, and he dropped her hands. His eyes, without his permission, flicked over to where her brother helped a red-headed girl from an identical horse. Dangerous. He didn’t doubt her words, he could feel the fear and conviction in her voice.

Before he could respond though she was out of his presence, leaving behind simply, "And if you were smart, you'd stay away from me too."

He watched her go as she fell in line with the other campers, already sure he’d approach her again sometimes soon, just to prove that you couldn’t tell him what to do. Pete chewed over this new piece of information about Sylas, he already knew he was bad news but to hear it confirmed in such sinister tones. Eris was the goddess of discord, if Pete recalled correctly. His sister would love that.

Finally moving along, Pete wandered past Alex’s classically handsome bodyguard from the main hall. With a smirk he wandered up to the bigger man, deliberately cutting in next to him, to bump shoulders with him. “Hey, it’s you!” Pete said with a faked smile, as if he’d run into an old high school friend at the supermarket.

“Aren’t you supposed to be off shagging a certain something?” He gave him a wide grin as if the two of them were sharing an inside joke. It wasn’t until that moment that he realised, Sloane fearing her own brother's danger really pissed him off. And he was happy to pass it on, after all old habits are hard to break. "Didn't I give you an order soldier boy?"

"I don't want to be left behind and since I trust that you and the other Gods will help keep my powers in check, I'll go. I am tired of being scared though. Thank you Lord Zeus."

He read her note again, and he smiled with a nod. "You're welcome." he told her before she headed off to the beach after her unneeded, but a respectful bow. Such a delightful child. he thought as he watched her make her exit.

Image Now alone again with the thoughts that ran through his mind like a constant loud crashing of waves, he had planned to be somewhere before returning back to Mount Olympus. The trial would not be canceled, and he was fully aware that it could not start without him. So, without further delay of time, Zeus took flight and made his way towards one special place in all of Greece.

Since ancient times, Greece had managed to keep its original beauty that remained untouched by human men that tainted the rest of their world with their constant, ignorant failings.

There was only one mortal woman that taught him to keep his faith in humanity. She showed him that not all mortals were evil.

He landed at the place he believed to be the only divine area on Earth. A beautiful scenic place that rests on top of a mountain decorated in various colourful, and vibrant flowers. The spot he had chosen to come to also overlooked The Aegean sea.

He stepped forward, his sandals sinking slightly into the earth beneath his feet as his eyes rest on the stone that marked her grave. The Aegean sea had always been her favorite at this very spot, and as the sun began to set... he understood why. You could see the entire city and villas of Athens with their tiny lights appearing like fireflies in the distance, showing life that had always remained, always survived through the hardest of times. Mortals were not really weak since they had the strength to endure all that nature threw at them.

Susanna could see everything up here, and with the Aegean Athen breeze blowning through his dark locks... He let out a sigh.

"My dear, sweet, and beautiful Susanna. I love you... I always have and I always will. My heart will remain heavy as I never should have left you or our children. I should have chosen mortality to be with you. I could have protected you from a fate that should have never been your own. I hope that you will forgive me one day, but I shall still love you, if not. There will never be another Queen beside me like you, Susanna, and I hope that when it is time for our son to be king, I will find you at peace in the Elysian fields, where we will be together again for all eternity." he stepped closer to the headstone that had her name etched into it, along with 'Beloved mother, wife, and daughter' beneath it. Zeus pressed his two fingers to his lips before placing them against the stone. "We shall never forget you." and with that, he took to the skies once more, and headed back to Mount Olympus.

God of War || Hex: #b32626

Image While Ares stood in the one room where he watched the mortals during wars, and battles... he was interrupted by Athena herself. He turned his head to her, the flames from a nearby brazier catching the side of his features as he listened. "You might want to have a word with your daughter. She just got into a fight and it might be best if she had someone to vent to so she can be as clear-headed as possible for the trial." her words brought a smile to his face when she left. His daughter rooted deeply to him through their taste for battle had always made him proud, but there needed to be boundaries.

He folded the parchment he had also been writing on and left it on the golden table before heading out to find his daughter. No doubt they had seized her and kept her locked in some cage that would not stand with Ares. She was a woman... not an animal.

He took the steps down to where they would keep their prisoners. His daughter paced back and forth inside of the cage that made Ares's stomach churn, but he understood why Athena had ordered his daughter to be taken away. Not only for her own safety, but for the safety of those she cared about since her rage could have gone too far, and then, she would have regretted stepping over the line like Ares had done many of times before Zeus had helped him. It was their curse, but it could be contained.

Ares stepped closer to his daughter and unlocked the cage so she no longer felt trapped. There was no way he would let her storm out of here. She wasn't leaving until she found peace with herself again. "Tell me what happened..." he said to her with a deep, yet gentle tone. He wasn't about to scold her if it wasn't her fault. Someone was definitely behind it since Trinity was not the type of person to lash out for nothing.

She impressed him time and time again at the Camp. At her age, Ares was quick to temper, aggressive, and had an unquenchable thirst for conflict, but the day he became a father... all of his past had gone. He became better and stronger. He didn't want to be the man that his children would hate, he wanted to the man that they could look up to and turn to for advice when they needed it. He wanted to be there as often as he could as they grew up, but time was limited, and mortality breathed down his neck.

Son of Zeus || Hex: Green Outfit: XXX

Image "Well that's a darn shame. I won't ask what happened since it's none of my business, but I do want to make you aware of someone."

Ajax frowned at the last part, though it was really no surprise nowadays with the amount of drama that weaved its way in and out of the camp on a regular time schedule so it seemed. He knew people like them, like Demigods, would never have a normal life... but was it much to ask? just a while longer where everything could feel peaceful for a change. "Who? and not to be funny or anything, Ethan, but... I don't know you enough to share my concerns. I hope you understand. Tell me, who am I to be aware of now, if it's not Mason?"

"I saw that pair right before we left for Olympus and they weren't arguing."

Ajax presumed he was talking about Mason and Andy. "Go on..."

"There was this petite short hair blonde hair girl with them. She recently influenced my friend Heath somehow to go with her, I think to ride with her."

"Really? - well, there is only one Goddess I know capable of influencing others like a serpent charmer... Hera. She's got to be the daughter." Ajax had heard so many stories of that jealous witch. For such a long time she has had feelings for Zeus, but he never returned them quite the same the day he met Ajax and Alex's mother. Since then, Hera had wanted to kill Zeus's children, since they reminded her of that mortal her king had grown strong feelings for which hadn't changed. He had agreed that she could be Queen, but only if she kept her claws away from his children.

"I could be wrong here, but it wouldn't surprise me if she had the ability to influence people around her. I just don't trust her. Unfortunately, I don't know her name. Heath's actually keeping an eye on her now. I just thought I'd warn you though.

Ajax nodded. "Thank you. I'll do the same as Heath."

"Oh, by the way, I don't think I ever got your name."

Just as Ajax was about to tell Ethan his name, and to question him further about the troublesome little blonde that he could have sworn he had seen before at camp, someone else had turned up near the balcony of the Acropolis. He recognized the pretty ebony woman as Hestia. He smiled politely as he faded a little into the background to give her time with her son before she quickly left. "Is your mom single?" he teased, grinning.

Image He watched Alex march from Ajax to Wes and play with his priced invention rather than put it on the one-armed son of Aphrodite. But it was a peek of old Alex so he didn't intervene and let the friends bond...at the insult and expense of the prosethic arm.

Suddenly someone bumped shoulders into him by way of greeting. “Hey, it’s you!” The guy from the hall said with a smile on his face.

"Very observant," Duke told him, not bothering to strain a smile back.

“Aren’t you supposed to be off shagging a certain something?” Duke stopped to look at him and his ridiculous grin. “Didn't I give you an order soldier boy?” he added.

Duke outright scoffed. He then squinted as if trying to recall the moment. "Something like that...I think, yeah. But I don't take orders from pigs, Pete." He'd have to thank Alex later for giving his name up though she saw nothing in it, of course. "Your concern in either my sex life or Alex's sex life is very touching, but I'm not some primate that's going to 'shag' a girl because you say. It's kinda sick and sad that that's your order as a son of Hera. You should see someone about that." Duke gave him a brutish smack on the back, like friends do obviously.

Duke kept in stride with the man with black fluff on his head. "I would say your investment is in her over me. If that's the case, you can keep me out of it and 'just shag her yourself mate'. Or you could be more classy, ask for a date, get a first kiss, go from there." But Duke had already established he was a pig so he didn't have high hopes for Pete's class or ability to attract people, much more attract Alex. Maybe that's why he was so insecure and unpleasant. Obviously Hera didn't teach this one too good.

Image He didn't feel like judging her was the accurate term. He was just disappointed in her, there was a difference. And the thought of her with him was haunting. And imagine if every guy could get away with it - they wouldn't. Suddenly Andy had slapped him causing his cheek to radiate pain and turn in the whole direction.

Mason eventually turned his dark gaze back to her. "What do you want? What? Do you want to hear the truth? That I am jealous? Yes, Mason... I am jealous. I have no right to be... But I am."

He might have taken the information better if his cheek wasn't on fire, but he kept his firm gaze on her. "You're so hurtful... You know that? I wish it was that easy for you to say how you really feel."

Andy headed in her own direction while Mason was left in his own thoughts. He finally put a hand to his cheek and rubbed it. He wouldn't be surprised if he had a handprint left on him because that was a nasty swing as well as a sign he had stepped over the line. Ajax approached by the time Mason was able to collect his thoughts and even think about reapproaching Andy. She was one of the few on his side and after the things she had done for him and Jennova...and he let his personal feelings get in the way.

Soon Ajax stormed away, bitching about something that he didn't hear. “Yikes, looks like that didn’t go too well.” Some arms wrapped themselves around him and he sighed with no energy left to fight her. “Don’t worry, I’d be happy to fix it for you.” She laughed and kissed the side of his neck once, which Mason recoiled at.

"Is your new toy not working?" Mason asked and gestured to the blonde male she had ridden with.

Eve drifted away but wasn't done tormenting him. “Did your poor precious heart skip a bit when she said the J word?” Mason just looked at her little mock show before she touched him again. “Be honest.”

That itch just took over as if he had to tell the truth. He couldn't spill a lie or he would implode. "Yes," he muttered. "I like that she's jealous. She doesn't know the half of it yet though..." Mason wanted her to feel what he felt, but the only thing he had to answer to the blonde was how he felt when Andy admitted she was jealous. "And babe," he pulled Evangeline back to him, "try keep your urges in your pants. Don't want people thinking you're for sale or this is an open relationship." Like Eve, he dipped his head down and kissed her on the neck, only adding teeth - firm enough to hurt her, though he could already hear Eve playing it off as kinky. He shoved her away and smacked her butt before wandering elsewhere since kindness incarnate and a Goddess had approached Andy, meaning she was safe from Eve and himself for a while.

Mason needed to clear his head with the trial minutes away.
