The Gods predate man. Their reign powerful, eternal and revered. But since the dawn of the Gods, there have always been those sworn to end Olympus. The golden throne, the seat of the righteous, king of the Gods, Zeus. It is the core of their world. Many seek to destroy it, dethrone Zeus and end the reign of the Gods.

Camp Athens, a safe place for demigods, children of the Gods. A place for them to live, grow and train. That was the intent. The demigods were never supposed to be the warriors for the Gods. Their parents wanted them to grow up safe from the world that threatens to end them. But the ruler of the Underworld, Hades, sought after the golden throne for himself, the demigods had no choice but to fight.

The campers faced many trials that tested them on levels far greater than they ever imaged. It was but the first day of the summer, demigods flooding into the camp, when a minotaur stormed its way through. A distraction while a son of Zeus, Ajax, was stabbed by an Underworld blade and poisoned. When things seemed to die down, it was only the quiet before the storm. Ajax was later taken prisoner by Hades, only set free when his soul was taken from him in exchange for a daughter of Hecate.

And all the while, when some of the most powerful demigods were nowhere to be found, the rest of the campers had to band together to take down their toughest foe… A Hydra. Then there was death… at the hands of a God and at the hands of a daughter of Zeus. It seemed, when at their weakest, Hades attacked.

The war. Something the demigods had been preparing for, but never thought would come. Giants and minions flooded their way onto the grounds of camp. The Gods stood side by side with their children in a fight for Olympus. It tested them more than anything had before… And in the end, they succeeded. But not without great loss. Wounded, weak and broken, the demigods came together victorious.

It’s been a year since that war. New demigods have found their way to the camp. The heroes of the war found ways to cope with their losses and train harder. Although the war is over, no one can rest. Something lurks in the distance, like a storm on the horizon. They don’t know what it is or when it will come… But they must be ready.

WIPs will not be accepted x / / x WIP tends to lead to people assuming they do not have to complete CS. So, due to that I will not accept a character until the CS is completely finished. It helps us and you to have a fully flushed out character before you post. Password 1 : Who was stabbed with an underworld blade?

Demigods x / / x There will only be two demigods per God. This keeps the number of characters at a balanced manageable level. Discussion could be made to potentially add another God, but we don't want to overload the RP. Also the deceased campers will remain, and prohibit the possibility of a new camper their place. Their life and death had significance in the first year of Camp Athens, and for other reasons it is necessary.

Reservations x / / x Reserving a character will be done through the OOC discussion board. All reservations must include the God/Goddess you intend as the parent, FC, how often you are online and average word count per post; along with the answers to the passwords. If you want more than one character you are welcome. But, if you would like to reserve both child of a single god you must ask. Depending on the circumstances it may not work for diversity's sake.

Character Guidelines x / / x Throughout the balancing of the characters, a good mix of male and female roles would be appreciated. That doesn't necessarily mean each God has a male and female child, but that throughout an even amount would help the RP be balanced. Ideally, FCs should look close to the age of your character. Abilities shall be taken from the provided list. If you are wanting your character to have an ability not listed, please contact me and we shall discuss it.

Inactivity x / / x Inactivity and ghosting is a plague in RPG. It seems people cannot stick to RPs for the life of them. I get it, life happens... It happens to all of us. But, we all want RPs to succeed. The first year of Camp Athens made it to the end, but by that day there was only 5 writers out of the numerous that were originally part of the RP. So, that being said, if life happens please just contact us and let us know, we are very understanding. If you're MIA from OOC, posting or PMs without explanation or word, we do reserve the right to write past your character if it's keeping us in limbo. I'd rather you back out of the RP versus disappearing. Password 2 : Which Demigods are deceased?

General Rules x / / x Violence, adult language and adult situations will happen so if you cannot handle that you may not want to join. I encourage romance, it’s fun and we all enjoy complicated romance stories. Kissing and what not is fine, but when this get handsy... or naked. Just fade to black, and have your characters imply it later or whatever. We have imaginations, plus site rules and stuff :p Don’t control someone else’s character without their ok, this includes their NPCs. Also this meant to be fun so please no OOC fighting. Any issues can be directed through me and I'll handle it :)

Sylas wasn't in her face but it felt like he was. His voice, his presence, his perfectly fine response all deserved to have his ass beaten. If she wasn't so repulsed by him and his commentary she might have suggested they whisk away and then she could accidentally get "carried away" choking him until he stopped breathing.

Suddenly a bottle hovered in her direction, but it wasn't the kind with any liquor in it. “Good luck.” She scowled taking the bottle from the brunette so she could be gone and the bottle out of her sight. What the hell gave the impression she wanted to be confined in a closet with somebody when she sat with her back to the circle? What did Trinity do to this girl to deserve it?

“I guess it's your turn to get groped in the closet... I hope they're a good kisser.”

Trinity's cold glare shifted to him. “As long as it's not you, I'm sure I'll have a great time.” Then she gave another one of her famous cold smiles. “I decide what happens to my body, when, where and how.” Sylas and Mason could have fun with the girls that dropped their panties the moment a guy invaded the personal space bubble.

Figuring it best to get over with, she swivelled around, sprang to her feet and spun the stupid bottle. Whoever it landed on was guaranteed a shit time. An even worse time if they invaded what little space Trinity would have left in the closet and a broken hand if they went for any groping.

What luck that it landed on Eve's back. Behind Eve's back was Wes. Supposedly one of the best kissers with his skill trades of Aphrodite. She headed on over to him and the blonde that couldn't be shaken.

"Look, let me get to the point, you want Trinity, but she’s not sure. Or whatever the problem is." Eve kept one hand on Wes's shoulder, while her other was outstretched toward him, palm up. "I can help, one little squiz at your destiny and you’ll know if she’s in it. Isn’t that what she needs, a little reassurance?"

"I think you need to learn how to mind your own business," Wes said as he pushed her hand away. Eve made damn sure the only thing in his line of sight was her, so he had no idea that Trinity had spun the bottle nor that she was approaching. Gods, did he just want her to leave him alone. It was her fault he's been digging his own grave with Trin for days now. "Watermelon." Wes didn't yell it, but he had a feeling the daughter of Ares had an eye on him ever since the minx graced him with her presence.

Trinity was always angry so it's not that it didn't trigger a violent thought or two but she was more exasperated with tonight. Trinity grabbed Eve's shoulder, spinning her around abruptly to face her.

"That was fast," Wes said rhetorically with a quiet laugh.

“Listen, this goes two ways. Either we go in the closet and it just might be the last thing you see, or you get out the way and let me take Wes.” That was Trinity projecting back the fuck off to the best of her ability. She grabbed Wes's arm, prompting him up. “Come on, up and at 'em.” In another fluid tug, Trinity sent them on the path to the closet before she could give Mason's shit girlfriend a makeover. Eve must have craved one, turning black and blue with a few missing teeth.

Wes raised his eyebrows in entertainment as Trinity proceeded to threaten Eve. He didn't even quite realize at first that it meant she had spun the bottle... and it subsequently landed on him, or the she devil. She took his hand and gave his arm a tug. His free hand pushed off his knee as he stood. "Yes ma'am."

Once a distance away from others, she let Wes go. She'd like to apologize for making things uncomfortable earlier with Liam but she couldn't and wasn't sorry. “At least it's you I have to pash.” She glanced at him from the corner of her eye. “Isn't that how it works? You get crammed in a closet and everyone expects you to make out without reservation?” She scoffed and stepped into the closet. “Apparently it's supposed to turn into the fucking discovery channel.”

Wes had to duck to get into the closet and saying it was a tight squeeze was an understatement. He was a bulky guy and fairly tall, but he couldn't help but think of poor Liam trying to cram in here without looking like the hulk in a clown car. "I guess so," he responded to the question vaguely as he adjusted in the narrow space. The closet wasn't much wider than the width of his shoulders and he tried his best to not encroach on her personal bubble. It wasn't working very well. "I'm honestly not that surprised. The sexual tension is this place is palpable." Although Wes never used his powers, there were some he couldn't switch off. Being able to sense others romantic and sexual energies was one of them.

Finding a comfortable but defiant position was a task. She leaned her back against the wall, crossed her arms, stood straight, shifted around until she called it quits. The closet really was too small. “You know, you're a real pain in my ass. I'm trying to work on my impulse control and you and your stupid handsome face, and your stupid charms are just...” she clenched her fist in the air and growled. He attracted women like flies and she thought about him too much.

Was that supposed to be an insult or a weird back handed compliment? His gaze fell slightly. Wes couldn't control the whole Aphrodite attraction thing. He wondered if she was talking about the other girls at camp like Eve... or herself. Maybe she was playing off any feelings she may or may not have to his... charm? He didn't know. Wes stopped trying to connect the dots or understand the layers of meanings behind a woman's words.

Trinity let out a breath slowly knowing it wasn’t his fault. She looked him over defeated. But that defeat slowly and gradually turned into an idea. Everything throughout the day came together to inspire her masterplan. Trinity was too hard on Wes, she was too angry, Eve was all over Wes, the intimacy expectations in the closet. She smirked. “Since you blew off our date, I cleaned your cabin and presumably, you spent the day with another woman, I think it's only fair you owe me something.” She shrugged off her leather jacket, keeping her eyes on Wes. She pulled her hair to one side then turned her back to him. “A massage,” she checked over her shoulder and grinned.

He wanted to debate the subject, say she was pissed at him which was solid enough of a reason to not try to follow up on a date. But it wasn't worth arguing about. It was both of their fault. Wes's brows furrowed as he watched Trinity slip out of her jacket. He kept his gaze locked with hers until she had her back to him. He let out a soft laugh and a weak nod of his head at the demand. His hands rose, then froze as they hovered over her shoulders. He stared at the mix of flesh and mechanical, then withdrew slightly.

He was not able to slip out of his own jacket as easily as Trinity but eventually managed to be free of it. His left hand then moved under his shirt and started unfastening the straps that kept his new arm attached. It took a moment before Wes was able to remove the prosthetic and placed it on the shelf overhead. No one wants a massage from a machine and part of him didn't like the idea of touching her with anything besides his real authentic self. Even if that meant he was absent an arm. "I may need your help to get that back on," he said quietly as his hand finally rested on her left shoulder.

Wesley's hands were most qualified to touch her because she accepted his touch for starters, and they actually felt nice. He was one of the few she could trust with her back turned. She closed her eyes rolling out her shoulders gently. “It's my 7 minutes in heaven. If I'm feeling kind, I can repay the favour, after the party.”

What did that mean? Wes tried not to let the slightly suggestive comment throw him off. Although it definitely made his heart skip a beat as he swallowed. But he didn't argue with her request. Trinity knew full well he'd do anything she asked of him, including releasing the tension in her shoulders rather than making out in a cramped closet. Wes found himself smiling slightly from the smell of her hair and their closeness as his thumb gently massaged her shoulders and then the back of her neck.

She rested her head back on his chest, gazing up at him then slowly extended her arm to reach out and play with his hair. Well, mess up really, and it wouldn't be long until Wes gathered she didn't have a fixation with his hair. He laughed as his face scrunched up, but he didn't stop her.

She spun around to face him and rubbed down his arm and chest. “What do you think? Marked up enough or more Trinity was here?” she was only half kidding.

"Well, that depends. What message are you trying to send? Are you claiming your territory? Or just wanting it to look like we played along?" Wes grinned as his hand slowly ran down her arm, pulling her a little closer as it hooked around her waist. He leaned down slightly as his palm rested upon the small of her back. His head lowered, shifting to the right of her own. He placed a gentle kiss on her neck just below her ear, letting his lips linger there for a brief moment. Then he raised his head and his fingers curled around the fabric of her shirt at the base of her back. "No one will believe it if you're not disheveled too," he said with a hint of a smile as he began to untuck her shirt.

Words were lost when Wes brought her in closer and laid a kiss on her neck. She grinned enduring the time his lips were there, even when she wanted to recoil because it was sensitive. Then Wes started to pull her shirt, one-handed and she arched her brow but decided to trust him. “A woman can't pounce on a man, leaving him defenceless?” Trinity shook her head and tutted dramatically then smiled. “My intention was to claim you were off-limits,” she poked his solid chest, “because women can't keep to themselves around you.”

Wes kept his hand on the small of her back once he finished adjusting her own appearance. He smiled as he looked down at her, his voice a whisper. "You know I'm yours. But I wouldn't argue to you claiming me." He laughed softly as he teased her.

They were on a time restraint in the closet, she almost forgot it couldn't be wasted bickering and teasing him. Trinity cupped the back of his neck giving him a kiss for no other reason than because she wanted to. Then replaced her lips on his neck with a smile. She chuckled there. “Okay, cupid, tell me how'd I do.” She kissed over his pulse point, using his body for leverage then pulled away to admire her work. Hopefully, a little bruise would pop up soon but maybe there was more technique to hickeys, more sucking or teeth required.

He was surprised at the sudden kiss, but it wasn't unwanted. Wes was happy to stand there, returning the kiss for as long as she wanted. Then Trinity's mouth moved to his neck. He wasn't expecting that. He could feel heat rise to his cheeks and chills run down his spine. His breathing got a little heavier with the kiss on his neck and her own playful laugh. Wes couldn't fight the smile on her lips as she pulled away. "I guess we'll find out."

Trinity cleared her throat. “Just getting even.” It felt like the ghost of his lips were still on her neck and he needed a little love bite, some actual marking.

7 minutes were up and Trinity bent down to pick up their jackets while Wes could go high and get his arm. “Trade you,” she said holding out his jacket for the arm. With all the emotions of camp, Trinity had forgotten to ask him about his feelings on the prosthetic arm so while she tried to equip him with a foreign limb, she spoke. “Do you like it or does it feel strange?” She hovered her hands around the object half-expecting she had done it wrong.

Wes was patient, even helping by showing her where the straps went to secure the new arm. Once it was fastened in place, he flexed and extended it as much as possible in the small closet to make sure it felt right. "It uh, throws me off balance. I got used to only having one arm... I have to be careful, gentle. It's stronger than I thought it'd be." As he spoke, he wiggled the fingers of the mechanical prosthetic. "Maybe I'll be able to fight better." He smiled and laughed.

She patted his back sending him on his way to choose somebody else with the bottle while she headed over to a log.

He took his jacket and threw it over his shoulder, feeling a little too hot to put it back on quite yet. Wes smiled toward Trinity before adjusting his path toward the fire. He scooped up the bottle into his hand, then glanced around at the campers. He nearly took it over to Liam, but seeing him with a particular small brunette convinced him not to be a cock block. That would just be a dick move. Then there was Alex or maybe Duke. He wiggled the bottle in his fingers until his gaze settled on a dark sullen looking dude that Wes couldn't remember talking to.

He walked right on over to the guy, then held out the bottle in greeting. "I don't think we've met, but you look like you could use a smile." Wes gave Pete a pat on the shoulder and left him to see what fate had in store for the closet.

In all fairness, at least she said that she'd try. At the very least, he had warned her. Not that it was enough to simply make someone aware of a problem that could surface. If anything, he was all the more wary of it now that he had told her. If he did anything to her regardless of promises broken, he'd only really have himself to blame. One cannot control the actions of others, only of themselves. His only worry was that here he had no release. Not in the same way that he did back home - where he could fight and brawl to his heart's content and it would stave off that insatiable desire to hit someone. Sometimes that was someone he loved that just hit the right button at an impossibly wrong time.

They were just going to have to cross that road when they get there. When. It was never a matter of if, as much as he loathed to think it.

Liam actually couldn't feel her pulse quickening because his hands were so rough, skin calloused and tough. Even his fingers were the same. He wasn't well-versed in handling delicate things or touching a woman long enough to take note of her subtle body signals - the coolness of her fingers as compared to his, the lax way her fingers seemed to rest against his own. However, he did notice that her cheeks were flushing, and he was almost sure that meant he had won for the night. He high-fived himself in his own mind.

"Thank you,", she finally spoke, and he decided right there that he had created an uncomfortable scenario. At best, maybe it was just unfamiliar. He put on faux disappointment, and it also complimented

He tilted his body away from her just a little bit - enough to pull his head back and give her his signature stare down. Only this one had a really? expression to it. "You know, would it kill a woman to tell a man that he is good looking? I mean, Rocco told me you were trying to sneak a peek back at the cabin." Oh, only Liam could ruin a perfectly romantic moment. Getting Sloane to smile and laugh was a good distraction, and she seemed to take his jests with a light heart. There was also this huge fact that, if this scene was uncomfortable to her, then it was ten times more so for him. He didn't know exactly how this woman made him felt, why it happened so quickly, or if an attachment to her would be something he could handle. Put a few guys in front of him - he could kick all their asses. A small thing with big doe eyes and a penchant for taking care of his dog and him? Terrifying.

Just as the dark recesses of his mind tried to open doors that were best remained shut, she collided with him. His reaction, naturally, was to brace her midback with the hand she had freed, protectively tucking her up against him."Sorry. It was cold," Sloane laughed - smiled. You know, all that cute shit she does that he's sure is making him look like a total pansy. "Maybe we should get something to drink? Since you kind of hulk smashed yours."

She didn't have to ask him twice - not that she had given him much choice. He was all-too-happy to be led by her, hand-in-hand, as strange as it was. Yet, it was also comfortable. Or not? Or both. This whole thing is a mess. Liam is a mess. But hey, he was pretty sure that none of the other girls were going to try to put moves on him. That was one worry of off of his shoulders. As his eyes ventured off to the crowd and landed on Eve for a moment, he reminded himself that she looks like the type that would try. But she's so hot. Camp Athens is a curse.

His eyes wouldn't dare to linger on the blonde for long, but they did fall on Sylas as Sloane began to cling to Liam. The snake was lucky that this beautiful woman was clinging to him because he knows he spoke to Trinity, and just that alone deserved some overdue facial reconstruction. He promised to try and not be a dick, though. It was a really big ask. He knew that Sylas wouldn't dare. He would be stupid to. A few words and the entire Camp would turn their backs on him. Liam was all about keeping this whole situation on a need-to-know basis, but he didn't have a whole lot of patience.

Before he even knew it, and probably by the grace of Sloane being in charge of tugging him wherever she so pleased, they were away from her brother and at the refreshments table. She was right - there were way too many choices. "Where do you even start?"

The Ares son slipped away from her, but only play pretend bartender. "I've been to so many bars, I'm sure this can't be hard. I mean, I bet you like fruity drinks." He picked up a bottle of vodka and set it in front of him, then some cranberry juice, some Schnapps of a flavor he didn't really check - maybe peach or some girly shit, and orange juice. He gathered up a shot glass, filled a glass with ice, and proceeded to put it all together. While he summoned his inner bartender, he put one shot of the vodka. But that couldn't be right. Who could taste one shot of vodka with all this fruity crap in it? So, he put in two along with one of the Schnapps. Then he started to mix in the juices but didn't bother using a shaker. He just stuck it all in the glass and used a spoon to stir it. Same thing!

He was super proud of the job he had done, and he even embellished it with one of those cute umbrellas. He presented it to her, "Sex On the Beach?" It never occurred to him to tell her that it was the name of the drink he offered to her. Either way, it was definitely the drink, but heavy on the alcohol. It was not good at all.

Pete was ready to make a grand exit, and by 'grand' he meant slink off back to his cabin with a full bottle of beer. He'd didn't give a damn about the closet's disheveled comings and going and he'd already kissed or pissed off the two people who seemed to tolerate him. So his night seemed to be at an end, or at least he thought it was before an empty bottle was held out towards him. "I don't think we've met, but you look like you could use a smile."

Pete stared down at the bottle with a raised eyebrow, his lack of response carried on long enough to make the whole interaction turn awkward. Eventually, he put down his beer and grabbed the empty bottle off Wes, the show must go on he supposed. "Yeah, thanks mate." Of course, there was nothing thankful in the tone of his voice.

Pete headed to the center of the circle and looked at his fellow players. He figured Liv was still out at sea, so strike her out, besides he'd been a dick to her and he didn't have any desire to see her and deal with his crappy behavior. He was friendly enough with Sloane but had no wish to get in between her and the wall of muscle. Then there was Alex who he locked eyes with across the circle, he’d seen her flounce over to Duke after their kiss, probably rubbing it in his face. Pete had willingly allowed himself to be used as a tool for jealousy. Hell he’d gone to Duke to ensure his usefulness. It wasn’t his first time acting in such a role, but he was supposed to be acting better these days.

That alone should have been a deterrent against Alex, she was far too much of a wildcard and he got the feeling being around her was giving up any semblance of control. Yet as he didn’t look away from her as he spun the bottle, half hoping for another kiss and half dreading it. That was why he hardly noticed as it pointed toward a striking redhead, her legs dangling over Theo’s lap. Clearly the bottle knew exactly what he truly wanted, complication-free, preferably a redhead. With a sigh, he straightened up and raised an eyebrow at the girl. This didn’t work if she didn’t detangle herself from Theo.

It took Rae a second, well, more than a few seconds - to realize that the bottleneck was pointed right at her. She turned her head and canted it, her eyes traveled to the source and she gives off a curious, "Hmm." He had that loner appeal - a bit shaggy, rough around the edges, a certain no fucks given kind of look. That was her perfect closet mate because she, too, gives zero fucks. She just hopes that he, at the very least, took a shower.

Her gaze then fell back toward Theo, and she was all-too-happy to slide her long limbs from her conversational partner. She stood up, turned to face him, and mimicked her best sympathetic smile, "It looks like it's my go, and he doesn't seem like a guy that likes to be kept waiting," she juts her thumb behind her to gesture over at Pete, of whom waited for her to realize that it was her turn. "How does my make-up look?" She then inquired, as though he would have any clue about a woman's warpaint.

Rae pivoted to face her potential closet romp and made her way to the closet. She'd climb her way in, too, and it was probably going to be a helluva tight squeeze. While she had a relatively slim physique, she was more than blessed with volume in all the areas that really counted. Naturally, she waited for him to slip inside before she thought about assaulting him. But before that, "If you're taken, complicated, uninterested, or whatever else - please do let me know. Safeword in 'Bananas', in case you forgot. Otherwise, you don't seem like you want to listen to me talk, so..." her hands fell around the beltline of his pants to swiftly locate buttons and undo him.

Pete couldn't help a chuckle, he wanted complication-free, and she certainly seemed it. She also seemed determined to bulldoze through any shyness as she began undoing his pants. "Very direct, didn't you hear most guys prefer coyness?" His said, as his head dropped back against the closet wall. He was happy to let her take control if that's what she wanted.

"Oh, but I read that men need directness to avoid the so-called conundrum of 'woman-speak'. Whatever that is," she replied without missing a beat. "I'm afraid that neither my mother or my father blessed me with coyness. Think of it as a break from having to think too much."

Rae was no saint, and this is a nice private space with only seven minutes to spare. She never made the best impressions anyway, so there was really only one way to go. She stepped into him and made sure that he was pressed against the back wall as much as possible, quickly commanding the scene unless she was bannana'd. No pun or innuendo intended. There were tugs at his pants and other things, and soon enough she had sunk down to occupy her mouth with anything else but words.

All too soon their time was up leaving Pete with no time to return the very satisfying favor. Once everything was put away and their, well his, clothing was readjusted Pete looked her over. He'd been right about his claims to Liv earlier, not enough space or time, he'd also been proven right in his preference for redheads. Rae, herself, had stood up and used her thumb to remove any displaced lipstick. Not that she could really see it. She also helped him button up, even going so far as to make it almost look like she hadn't skipped almost all bases save for home.

Pete stepped forward, pushing himself up against her, feeling all her curves against him. He moved into her ear to whisper, "Guess I'll return the favor later." As he pulled back he gave her a quick kiss, their first kiss technically. She tilted her head at him and gave him a half-smile, her fingers wrapped around his biceps as he tugged her close. "I think later might be too long a wait. Wouldn't you agree?" Then he was released, and soon they were jumping out of the closet for someone else's use.

It was only out of the closet, as Pete looked her over in his usual quiet way, he realized, "Your name love?"

The pair didn't look as hot of a mess as others did. The only thing suggestive of anything was the little bit of lipstick that made its way to the corners of her mouth, yet there was nothing on neither Pete's face nor his neck to insinuate that she had been in any of those places at all. As she took care of her make-up to the best of her ability, "Rae."

The Artemis child couldn't be fussed to pick up the bottle while her lipstick was everywhere, so Pete grabbed the bottle, tossing towards the nearest person without a care, that new girl, Nelly. She smiled in the direction of her fellow redhead, "Best of luck to you, dear. Don't do anything I wouldn't do." Pete sighed and shook his head, that hardly discounted anything.

Then she glanced at Theo and sighed, her tone a bit too dramatic to be genuine, "I apologize Theo, but I hear it's bad manners to leave a job half done. If you catch my drift. So, I think I'll retire for the night." It was just expected that Pete was going to follow her because he does owe her, and to make her sit and wait was just awfully unfair.

She'd end up dragging him off, "Your place or mine? Staying the night is not required unless you're the cuddling type, then I won't say no." It didn't matter to her.

Pete raised an eyebrow at Rae as she expected him to trundle along behind her like an obedient puppy. Her forthrightness was a breath of fresh air alright, he just couldn't decide if that was a good thing or not. If he cared more he might have put up a fight, but instead he just answered, "Yours." Then let her the lead the way, she was right about being a break from having to think.

ImageA look around the beach made him spy with his little eye the prince of Athens on his lonesome.

He poked up a finger to Cherise, unsure if she'd see it or not while he headed to Ajax. So moody, so serious, so unfestive. Daniel cleared his throat from behind Ajax and put on his best villain voice. "The ruler to be all alone, vulnerable, right for the overthrow or is it abduction I might benefit more from." Daniel put his chin in his hand stroking his imaginary moustache. Yeah, he wasn't sure what evil people wanted these days. Money, sex, power, were basically the big categories then they could all have little sub-branches.

Daniel smiled at Ajax and sat across from him in the sand. "Hey boss, how you doing?" He held out his hand for a sandy shake. "You know I've been thinking, literally just then, I think I want kids, but not full time. More like hang out for a bit then can get rid of them in a few hours - an uncle! When am I going to be an uncle?" he gestured in Andy's direction. Half uncles didn't sound like a thing. Probably because they just went by Uncle and no one knew the difference. "If he has more witchy powers - and I really think it's going to be a boy, I could definitely help out. I mean even if we want to crack the whip a little in this camp, I could conjure a monster. I've really wanted to try a kraken," he confessed, tapping on his knees. But then that would be an exercise heavily relied upon by Liv and the drowning of camp fellows would be on him.

Then finally he realized he didn't give Ajax the chance to speak. He bowed his head and waved to the grandmaster for him to speak.

Looking to move past awkwardness, silence and scoldings, he perked up again. "So how do you get bottle immunity anyway? Every other person is playing." He threw his thumb back to the circle. "Even Alex's- " he did a double-take. Wasn't that the guy Alex was snogging leaving with a redhead? "boyfriend went in the closet with another girl...What is with the people on camp these days!?" he demanded. People snuck into the closet and got all messy so far, but even the people with partners helped themselves. Or Slenderman and Dark Dude were never an item with their counterparts, just looked at them like they wanted to nail them most. "The mouth just isn't a sacred thing anymore." Daniel concluded shaking his head.

Image Alex kept her eyes on Pete as he was about to spin the bottle, and with his eyes locked on hers, that thing soon began to spin. It wasn't long before it stopped, and when Alex looked down to see who it had landed on.. her heart sank. It had landed on Rae. Alex looked up at her with a glare as she found the redhead sprawled across Theo's lap. Was there any guy on camp that she hadn't tried it with yet?

As Rae entered the closet with Pete, Alex watched with dread as the door closed behind them before she looked away and saw Daniel with her brother. She managed a smile and made her way towards them.

"The ruler to be all alone, vulnerable, right for the overthrow or is it abduction I might benefit more from."

Ajax smiled, even chuckled. He didn't have to turn around to see who it was, and oddly, he was grateful that Daniel had shown up with his energetic personality. "You can try, though I won't go easily." he grinned.

Image With his elbows resting down against his knees, Daniel sat across from him with a smile of his own.

"Hey boss, how you doing?" Ajax took hold of Daniel's hand with his own, shaking it.

"Honestly? I could be better, but I'll be fine." Daniel could probably tell he didn't want to talk about it as he managed to change the subject.

"You know I've been thinking, literally just then, I think I want kids, but not full time. More like hang out for a bit then can get rid of them in a few hours - an uncle! When am I going to be an uncle?" Ajax froze at that question. Before Daniel could even gesture to Andy, he knew exactly who they meant. Ajax's eyes traveled over to where Andy was, causing to exhale slowly from his nostrils as he looked down, clasping his hands together as Daniel carried on to talk. "If he has more witchy powers - and I really think it's going to be a boy, I could definitely help out. I mean even if we want to crack the whip a little in this camp, I could conjure a monster. I've really wanted to try a kraken," he confessed, tapping on his knees.

As nice as the thought was, there was no chance of him having children with Andy. Especially not now. She was conflicted between two men, and there was no chance of him competing. Not because Mason was better than him, or anything.. it was just as simple as wanting Andy to choose for herself. So be it if she chose Mason. He would just have to accept that his love for her wasn't strong enough to keep her by his side. "So she didn't tell you then?" Ajax would have said, but Daniel changed the subject again.

"So how do you get bottle immunity anyway? Every other person is playing." Ajax looked in the direction he threw his thumb back to the circle. That game was toxic, and Ajax definitely wanted nothing to do with hormonal teens. "Even Alex's- " he did a double-take, causing Ajax to lean a little to one side, his line of sight just past Daniel. "boyfriend went in the closet with another girl...What is with the people on camp these days!? The mouth just isn't a sacred thing anymore."

Ajax snorted a laugh and shook his head with a slight roll of his eyes. "Tell me about it. I'm leaving tomorrow with Alex. We're going to mount Olympus to spend time with dad, and... well... Alex has asked Duke to come. Come with too if you want. It'll be better than this place at the moment. And umm...." thinking back on what Daniel said about Andy, and the question he wanted to ask earlier. "Didn't Andy say anything to you, about..." he started to say "Well, we br--"

Image Before Daniel could question him, or before Ajax could even finish to explain, Alex came rushing over and wrapped her arms around Daniel. She squeezed him slightly, then kissed his cheek and settled down beside him. "Finally get a moment with you. How are you? and what you boys talkin' about exactly, huh?" she smiled. "Gossiping about girls?" she grinned as she looked between the both of them. If they were, she'd want to know. It meant the world to her to see both men she cared about to be happy. Daniel especially with everything that had gone on for him last year. It was nice to see him back, and nice to see him being himself again. Hopefully, he'd be happy with someone soon too.

Image "And did you just see Pete wander off with Rae? - She's the camp's biggest slut here, and it's disgusting. She has not long tried to get Duke to go with her, then was flirting with Theo. I honestly thought that Pete had better taste and standards than that."

Was his little sister maybe a little jealous and annoyed that the bottle didn't land on her?

"Al... I really couldn't care less about their teen dramas. Just stay out of it, okay?"

She didn't protest and just nodded in agreement.

"If they wanna be like that, then that's their problem. Not ours."

He was right, she knew it. Which is why she didn't argue with him. She remained silent for a moment as her eyes wandered off into the direction of where Pete had followed Rae for the night. Her fingers played with the fabric of her shorts as she tore her eyes away, eliminating any thought of them together. This time, her eyes landed on Duke. She was curious as to what he was thinking at this point, especially about the redhead he had not long been talking to before Pete got his claws into her.

Alex folded her arms this time as her brother went back to talking with Daniel, but the second she heard him mention that him and Andy had broken up and gone on some break, Alex felt her fists screwing up in her lap. Ajax had been nothing but loyal to her, and now she was throwing it in his damn face, and for what? Mason? for a long time, it seemed as though those two had something there between them, but she didn't think Andy would try and act on it. Even though there was clearly a dislike for her, Alex still had hope that the girl's feelings were genuine for her big brother.

"I don't want to cause a scene anytime soon, so... I just want people to leave her alone." he looked to Alex when he said that, knowing that she might want to address the issue with Andy personally. "Besides, it's probably my fault because of... I never gave her much attention. Honestly, she's better off without me." Ajax shrugged. He had no clue how Daniel was going to react, but he did know that he couldn't force her to stay with him or to even keep her away from Mason.

Alex shot up out of her seat. "Don't do that for her! don't make excuses for her!" she shouted.

Ajax looked around at the others, hoping they were too busy to notice her outburst. He didn't want anyone bugging him with questions. "Sit down.." he warned her lowly, and she did after seconds hesitation. "Just leave it."

Alex glared off in Andy's direction.

Daniel saluted when he was handed the bottle. "Andy, Evie. Evie, Andy," he said as he motioned between herself and the red head he was previously dancing with. "Evie helped bring me back. And Mason. And, uh, dancing isn't in the Hecate genes so don't expect much from this one."

"Andy is it?" She turned her attention toward her present company. With a friendly smile, Andy nodded her head in acknowledgement. "I'm just checking because typically I go by Evelyn, and suddenly it's Evie. He also once introduced a demigod to me as Summer."

She laughed, shaking her head at the comment. "That sounds like Daniel." It was strange having him back. And according to him, this red head was part of the reason he came back at all. "I don't know how you helped him become... him again. But thanks," she said quietly, but her appreciation was genuine. "And don't worry. I don't have my brother's pension for nicknames. Evelyn it is."

"Help me out a little with the dancing comment. Is it that you won't dance, or him being foolish?"

She laughed, rolling her eyes slightly. "Daniel just likes to think he's the Gods' gift to the camp. He knows full well I can dance. I just choose not to peacock everywhere."

Andy watched her brother join the rest of the campers and spin his bottle. After the first go it landed on Theo along with a gaggle of women. Daniel went to spin it again, and surprisingly it landed on the same group the second time. He looked over at her, giving her an accusing glance. Andy's face scrunched up as she shrugged her shoulders. She didn't blame him for thinking it was her, but regardless, it wasn't.

Evelyn smiled toward her after noticing Daniel's glare. "I'm sure he's grateful deep down."

She gave a quiet chuckle through her nose, as she watched Daniel disappear into the closet with a brunette. "Grateful or not, he deserves to be put on the spot." Andy looked back over toward Evelyn. "He is terrible about easing someone into the whole 'Psych. You're brother's not actually dead' situation."

There was a brief silence, not that it was awkward on Andy's end. She enjoyed being in the company of someone who didn't maybe know all the drama that seemed to surround her. Or maybe, Evelyn knew but didn't seem to care. Either way, it was a breath of fresh air and for, at least, a little, she could maybe try to enjoy the stupid party.

"I would personally love to dance without fear of being ground against." Evelyn's words definitely implied that one, her brother rubbed his ass all up on this poor girl and two, that she was looking for a more PG dance partner. She watched the red head grab her drink, preparing to observe the closet shenanigans or go dance.

"You don't have to tell me twice." Andy hooked her arm in Evelyn's and started toward the refreshments. She told herself one drink earlier that night, but screw it. She snatched up the nearest beer, popping the cap off with her magic then took a sip. With a little bit more of liquid encouragement, she led herself and Evelyn toward a small clearing closer to the origin of the music. "I swear, no grinding." she laughed as she crossed her heart with her right index finger.

It took a moment for Andy to get a feel for the beat of the music. Her body slowly swayed at first getting a feel for the rhythm. She always loved dancing, and when her mind was bombarded with everything else... It was a pleasant change of pace. It let her worries just slip away. She was happy being removed from the party games and from where she stood, she couldn't see neither Ajax nor Mason. Evelyn seemed like the type of girl far more content dancing with other girls, a feeling Andy herself shared. It wasn't about anything else, but having fun and enjoying the music. So, she made sure she remained close to Evelyn, but not too close to encroach on her personal space.

Finally loosened up, Andy took another sip of her drink and let out a soft sigh. "For a minute, I could almost forget all the dumb drama here." She smiled slightly, swaying her hips and rocking her head back and forth. She looked over at her dancing partner. Andy was so wrapped up in everything else, she barely got a chance to talk to any of the new campers. So far, Evelyn seemed to have her head screwed on straight. Definitely smarter than the average girl.

"So," she said, breaking their silence. "Is there anyone here you want to lock lips with for 7 minutes?" She then held up her hand to stop Evelyn before she answered. "I don't need a name. Just curious." Her outstretched hand moved to run back through her wavy hair. She briefly glanced over her shoulder toward the fire and the campers congregating hoping for their own turn. "Or are we trying to hide?" Andy smiled, raising her beer to her lips. "Because I'm totally ok with that." She laughed and took another drink.

When her eyes met with Sylas’ little wink, she just turned a little red. He knew what was up! Cherise was a perfectly good woman - protector, healer, friendly, but that didn’t take away from the fact that she was very comfortable with sexuality. What else was she supposed to do in a closet with Daniel, of all people? Sylas was probably just trying to be approving, but she felt a tad embarrassed that someone had pointed it out - even with playful subtlety.

The wine began to hit her, and as she sat on one of the unoccupied logs, so did this Keith/Daniel thing. Cherise just laid herself down, her eyes peering up at the dark and smoke-filled sky for a few moments. Her ankles crossed for the sake of not having any of the camp sickos not looking up her skirt, and her arms hung lax over the sides. There was something wrong with this place, and she could feel it in her gut. It was just too bad she couldn’t see the actual snake in the garden that had winked at her only seconds ago.

Still, she sighed and closed her eyes. At one point, when she popped those same eyes open for a second, she caught Daniel giving her some odd finger gesture. She wasn’t sure if he was implying that she wait and see, or that he was about to cause trouble. Why did her intuition tell her that it may be a little bit of both? Regardless, he was busy and she had very little interest in joining the pair he flocked to. Not that she was upset - Cherise was not his keeper, and she knew better than to cling to anyone’s side. He needed space to be himself, and she was more than happy to give it to him. Besides, he was finally enjoying things, and she feels more at ease knowing this. She gave him an encouraging thumbs up as her non-verbal seal of approval and acknowledgment.

She closed her eyes again to tune out the party since things started to wibble wobble under her feet.

* * *

She must have dozed off because Rae was long gone. So was Pete, in fact. The bottle had been given to Nelly, of whom was now in the process of giving it a spin. It took a minute or two to put things together, and she never would exactly - but Rae must have snared some unfortunate soul in her salacious talons. Good for her. A satisfied Rae is one Artemis child that is ready to take on the world. An unsatisfied Rae meant a long night for Cherise.

She sat up and swung her legs over the log until her feet were planted on the sand again. She then pushed herself up, stretched, rubbed her eyes, and then turned away from the bonfire. Maybe it was the alcohol or the sheer confusion of a situation she was all-too ready to understand if that meant Daniel would touch her while they were closet-bound (probably both together, really), but she started off in the direction of the cabins.

She had her turn in the closet, and the interaction she had been waiting for since the playdate, so there was no need for her to stick around. She was getting kind of tired, even if the night was still young. Of course, that meant passing the food. She first walked past it, but then walked backward because she had second-guessed herself. She looked around as though about to embark upon some suspicious activity and made herself a couple of hamburgers like the ashamed glutton for red meat she was. Only after she had more than enough food for one girl to eat alone, and maybe a beer or two that she likely won’t stay awake long enough to drink, she proceeded to head to her cabin.

She ate, watched a movie, showered, and went to bed.

The seemingly unlikely duo would wander off into the woods, setting forth on the path that led them to their cabins. Well, her's to be specific. At first all would be silent, but even the socially inept daughter of Artemis knew that was both rude and uncomfortable as hell. Besides, she couldn't remember if she caught his name, much less if he gave it. It was the perfect and easiest conversation starter that she could pull out from thin air.

"So," she began, hand patting down the soft fabric of her skirt that bellowed slightly in the breezy air. "Did you tell me your name? Oh, and parentage. I'm new here, as you probably know, and I'm just a little bit curious to know." She glanced back at him for only a second; eyes traveling over his figure with uncertainty if there was approval or judgement. It was always hard to tell. "Not that you are required to tell me anything, of course." Her eyes fell back onto the path so that she didn't miss her cabin.

To be fair, she's pretty sure that she had forgotten where it was. Curse these first days. She should have taken a picture of it or jotted it down on the back of her hand in permanent marker. She's not typically known for forgetting much, but this placed looked a lot different in the dark. A helluva lot different. Still, she sort of just strolled because the night was where she was most comfortable. A midnight stroll through some dark ass woods is peaceful to her where it might be uncertain and eerie to others.

"I'll start," she offers, just in case he felt a little bit hesitant. Maybe she just loved to talk, or couldn't pick up on the fact that someone might want a little peace and quiet from everything unless she's told directly. "I'm a daughter of Artemis. I'm pretty simple, I think. I don't like surprises, appreciate the blunt truth, and can't form secure and genuine attachments, which means less work and worry for you," she paused for a moment, but only to catch a breath, "But I love to cuddle, so if you stay the night then you're going to have to deal with that. I'm not sure why, but I am sure a lot of it has to do that men are just... warm. I'm always cold." And Rae was talking on and on, like the loquacious creature she was. Pete was free to just listen and nod away, and she'd not even notice if he totally spaced and decided to tune her out.

However, she was just buying time to find her cabin. She knew only that she placed a hand-crafted wooden hanging of the lunar phase that encircled a black flying raven. That was there just in case, but it was sort of hard to see in the dark. She stopped, a hand rubbing her arm because it was getting a bit chilly. She never thought about planning for a cool night - the dolt that she could be every so often.

Rae’s eyes took on a bird-like quality for a moment; darkening entirely to a deep brown that flashed yellow at the touch of the moon. "Ah, there it is. Everything looks different at night," she tried to blame away her forgetfulness with excuses as her eyes retreated to their natural hue and she commenced with leading him.

Finally, both Pete and Rae were climbing the steps to her cabin, as she had taken the path that was shown to her quite quickly after that short pause they made moments ago. The door was flung open haphazardly, the door decor banging around in a fuss, and she let Pete in first so that she could shut and lock it after him. She didn't want Cherise barging in, after all.

"Welcome to my humble abode," she declared. It was clean. Very clean. In fact, it was just that she hadn't unpacked completely but must have taken the time to go over everything with bleach. She couldn't know what kind of demigod had this place before her and what dirty shenanigans they were up to.

They'd go right through the living space because there was nothing there of note. Not yet, anyhow. Her room, however, was a different story. The bed had clothing strewn all over the place, and there was an empty suitcase hanging open in a hectic mess. It looked like she tried on a million outfits before deciding on just this one. She didn't look at him in shame or pretend to be sorry about it, she just pulled it all off and into her suitcase. She let the top flap closed, as much as it could with a mountain of attire just thrust carelessly into it. While bent over with hands on the edge of the bed, she kicked the suitcase under it. It was almost like it was never there!

"Make yourself comfortable. I think I have sand in my unmentionables, so I'm hopping in the shower." As she moved toward said bathroom, and then inside of it seconds later, she popped her head out, "Coming? Because it doesn't matter what you did on the beach - there is always sand in all the wrong places."

Image He almost requested some real talk from Sylas when he implied Liv made the first move but he came to realize he didn't know the girl or guy well enough to know who came onto who first. And there were better things to lie about then time spent in the closet.

Mason growled Trinity's name as she snatched the pack from him then Sylas replaced it in his pocket pointedly. Mason nodded to him in thanks. Throughout their conversation, he was surprised how similar their minds worked. Just like when they both saw Cherise and Daniel stumble out of the closet, they looked at each other. Sylas's look was more inquiring while Mason's was proud. Another case made. Closet time wasn't to be wasted.

Iliana's friend strolled right up to them and passed the bottle onto Trinity. She was more disheveled than he thought having to tuck in her blouse and looking quite the hot mess.

"I guess it's your turn to get groped in the closet... I hope they're a good kisser." Sylas bidded Trinity his own taunting good luck and Mason rose his brows.

Trinity had been pretty subdued up to that point. “As long as it's not you, I'm sure I'll have a great time.” She gave an icy smile. “I decide what happens to my body, when, where and how.”

Mason knew that, and he'd dare to guess Sylas knew that. She wasn't one that went weak in the knees or let herself be seduced. When she left, Mason looked to Sylas. Spite, defiance and self-assurance. "Personally, I dig it. Bit of dominance about her and plenty of fire."

Yet he couldn't see himself sleeping with her. He laughed lowly as she tugged Eve away from her male. Wes was lucky to have the attention of a female alpha and Eve was far too pushy for her own good. As his gaze flickered through the party, Mason saw Andy dancing with the redhead from earlier. His smile faded as he watched her some distance away sway to the music. It wasn't particularly sensual but he found her stunning and she could move. That outfit showed her shape and body in a
modest but sexy way too. Mason tried to tear his eyes from her. "So you and Sloane decided on this game? Interesting. I mean I'm grateful, don't get me wrong." He enjoyed his time with Eve in there and the idea of the drama and heartbreaks across the camp it could bring. But it was an interesting suggestion apparently made by the Eris children.

"To keep our alliance intact, do you have any off-limits I should know about? People, mainly," he added smirking since apparently choking wasn't off-limits in private. Mason would rather not hear how much Sylas could withstand in the physical department, fascinating as it'd be.

His eyes shifted back to Andy helplessly. Mason took off his jacket for the moment putting it on his lap. He needed to drink more so his body was slower to react. Particularly when he really knew the girl wasn't just incredible looking but irritating and stubborn and ridiculously loyal.

One by one the numbers seemed to dwindle away from the fire and beach altogether. Normally that was him, the first to leave and call it a night. "And suddenly there's less contestants for the bottle to pick." Not that Mason was too disheartened. The girl disappearing with Pete was a pity and it did increase the chance of landing on Alex. The thought snapped him out of idle chatter. That was a damn ice shower for him. "Are you working on a Valis's demise or other things?" Mason asked somehow suggestive and a little annoyed at the same time.

Nobody really wanted the demise of a Valis more than him and all he could rely on was himself. But fair enough for Sylas to treat himself and do some other chaotic exercises. Then again, don't make a deal to be a partner in crime.

Image The atmosphere took a tense turn and when he thought he had relieved it, it came back. "Tell me about it. I'm leaving tomorrow with Alex. We're going to mount Olympus to spend time with dad, and... well... Alex has asked Duke to come. Come with too if you want. It'll be better than this place at the moment. And umm....Didn't Andy say anything to you, about..." Ajax seemed to hesitate. Daniel cocked his head to the side. "Well, we br--"

Suddenly, he was almost tackled into the sand as Alex hugged him and kissed his cheek. He chuckled and one arm hugged her back seeing as she pinned one of his others. "Finally get a moment with you. How are you? and what you boys talkin' about exactly, huh? Gossiping about girls?" she grinned.

"As you're aware, I'm super popular, kind of a big catch on camp," he winked "But I do my best to tend to the line and see everybody." Daniel chuckled then looked to Ajax hoping he'd take over for the second question. Technically, they kind of were gossiping about a girl and he fully wanted to get back to what Andy didn't tell him.

"And did you just see Pete wander off with Rae? - She's the camp's biggest slut here, and it's disgusting. She has not long tried to get Duke to go with her, then was flirting with Theo. I honestly thought that Pete had better taste and standards than that." Never mind. Apparently she had her own vent to get off her chest. Alex was never shy about her opinion.

Then Ajax stepped in with his wisdom. "Al... I really couldn't care less about their teen dramas. Just stay out of it, okay? If they wanna be like that, then that's their problem. Not ours."

"Ah," Daniel raised a hand, "question, are you carrying the torch for Pete?" he looked in the direction the duo disappeared. "Maybe they've just gone to cuddle? Or maybe," he smirked and waggled his brows "you should have made a better move." To be fair he did see Alex making out with him but maybe Pete needed more belt tugging and thought the sun was coming up. Or he just preferred red heads. Nervously, he glanced to Evelyn who was still in the company of Andy. Hopefully not.

Ajax spoke again, this time revealing that Andy and he had sort of broken up or were on a break. Daniel frowned. "I don't want to cause a scene anytime soon, so... I just want people to leave her alone." An interesting choice, because he didn't see Ajax letting her go, he thought he loved her. Without full context it didn't make sense. "Besides, it's probably my fault because of... I never gave her much attention. Honestly, she's better off without me."

Daniel scratched his jaw, perplexed. He had no doubt it must have been hard on Ajax and Andy yet they both kept their chins relatively up. The bursting question for Daniel was why.

Alex jumped to her feet. "Don't do that for her! don't make excuses for her!" she shouted.

Daniel lowered his eyes and played his fingers through the sand. "Sit down." After a moment she was able to bring herself back to a sitting position. "Just leave it." Daniel glanced up at her as she glared at Andy.

"Alex, that's my sister your sending daggers at," Daniel reminded softly. "It takes two to tango anyway. That applies to Andy and Ajax's decision, and...others." AKA the ones known as Rae and Pete. Disappointed as she might have been in him, Daniel didn’t see the Rae girl dragging him along.

These change of events and several new faces did make him wonder how long he was gone or just how oblivious and wasteful Keith was. He cleared his throat keen to move on. "As for your invite to Olympus, I just got back to Camp. While it may be thick in the drama department and lover quarrels and I don't know half the faces anymore, this is home to me." One of them anyway. "Not to mention I don't think I'll benefit from spending time with your dad." If that's what the matter was then good for them. He'd prefer it be something more urgent than family bonding but maybe he was just picky like that. "You don't think you're leaving camp a little vulnerable?" Daniel was the last person to rain on anybody's parade but that reality had to be addressed.

He saw Cherise wandering away from the party and frowned again. Wasn't it early? What was the matter? Daniel had half a mind to jump to his feet and check on her but he was in the middle of a relatively important conversation and he could catch up with her later. Maybe. It'd probably be strange to appear at her cabin by the time he was done with the party.

"As long as it's not you, I'm sure I'll have a great time." Trinity's words came with a bite, bringing a smile to Sylas's face. "I decide what happens to my body, when, where and how." She was feisty. He watched her make her way over to the circle and spin the bottle. He couldn't help but chuckle to himself as the blonde practically pried the son of Aphrodite from the clutches of the camp's minx.

"Personally, I dig it. Bit of dominance about her and plenty of fire," Mason said in regards to Trinity's sass and dominance.

Sylas moved his attention back to Mason as he spoke. He shrugged his shoulders while nodding his head agreeing. "Anyone beautiful can get my attention. But I'm a slave for a strong woman that keeps me in my place." He smirked, taking a sip of his drink. He couldn't help but notice Mason's gaze focused on a particular brunette dancing with the ever enchanting Evelyn. Although the man's comment was guided towards Trinity, he knew that it also held value with Andy. If Sylas had to put his finger on it, Mason's draw toward the daughter of Hecate was because he couldn't control her and she knew exactly how to keep him in his place. It's ecstasy for guys like them.

"So you and Sloane decided on this game? Interesting. I mean I'm grateful, don't get me wrong."

"Well, it's never as simple as just a game," Sylas said as he took a seat beside Mason. "I'd think you know me better than that." He smirked watching as Eve's brother was whisked away into the closet with a promiscuous red head. He leaned over a little more toward his company, lowering his voice so only the son of Hades could hear him. "I'll let you in on a little secret... Be mindful of who you want the bottle to land on. You'll find it knows what you want." He smiled as he sat back upright. The game was insightful into the desires, or weaknesses, of the campers. Regardless if Mason new the truth or not, it wouldn't alter the blessing upon the bottle.

"To keep our alliance intact, do you have any off-limits I should know about? People, mainly," Mason asked, smirking.

Sylas ran his finger tip along the brim of his glass as he contemplated the question. "I'm not the type to put down roots. So the camp is your oyster," he answered, motioning his hand to the plethora of attractive women perfect for Mason's debauchery. Even if there was someone in particular holding his attention, maybe like how Evelyn was, he wouldn't admit it. Emotional connections are weakness. He would never share information like that. He would rather the camp see him as a whore. And maybe hearing it enough would convince to not become preoccupied by a pretty face.

It seemed as the night continued on, campers trickled away. Some looking bored or tired, while others left together with more nefarious desires. "And suddenly there's less contestants for the bottle to pick."

"The odds grow in your favor," Sylas jested. Technically he wasn't wrong, the bottle would be entirely at his beck and call.

"Are you working on a Valis's demise or other things?" Mason seemed impatient to piss off the Zeus duo, not that he blamed him. But Sylas wasn't the type to rush into things like Eve, nor run in blindly trying to strangle everyone. It took time.

"Don't do that for her! Don't make excuses for her!" Alex shouted, catching Sylas's attention. The temperamental brunette stood beside the son of Hecate, he couldn't recall the guy's name, and Ajax. His brows furrowed slightly. He wondered who she was talking about. But then she stared daggers at the daughter of Hecate, it answered his question. The two men with Alex didn't seem thrilled about her outbreak. Maybe she was closer to the tipping point than he originally thought.

Sylas finished the rest of his drink before finally speaking. "Currently my attentions have been focused on the murderer. She's so close to the edge. Just needs a little push." His eyes squinted as he studied the sullen brother. Someone who was supposedly the leader at this shit hole of a camp. His lady love no where near him, nor had they shared a moment together since the start of the party. Yet the last bonfire, they couldn't be separated.

"As for Captain Zeus..." his voice trailed off as he looked toward Ajax, knowing Mason's gaze would likely follow. "He looks more miserable than anything I could do. If I had to guess? There's trouble in paradise." Unlike Mason, who would take that observation like a holy grail, Sylas kept his eyes on Alex. He barely knew the girl, yet so much anger and animosity raged within her. He made a mental note to pay her a visit before the party was over. Maybe even give her that little... push.

Theo allowed himself to relax as Rae entangled her legs in his. Even when drunk, Theo was a people watcher. The inability to turn off his acute observation skills could be quite the curse sometimes. The small talk with Rae and Nelly was enough to keep him entertained as the seemingly never-ending game of seven minutes in heaven dragged on. Still unaware he was making constant passes at his sister, Theo's head was heavy from the alcohol but his mind at ease. That is until he watched Trinity's turn with the bottle unfold. As Theo's worst luck would have it, the bottle came to a stop pointing directly at Wes. He felt himself tense up, jaw clinched, as he watched the duo head past him towards the closet. It wasn't just seeing them together that bothered Theo. It was the fact that 36 hours prior, Theo seemed to be in good standing in their complicated little love triangle. Now, it was like Trinity couldn't even take the time to acknowledge his presence at the party.

Theo let out a sigh. This is precisely why Theo liked running with the wolves. The wolves weren't complicated. They never deviated from what they were supposed to do in the pack. He never had to worry about things not going according to plan. Glancing at Rae for a moment, Theo started to tune out the world around him in order to zero in on the noise from the closet. He could hear talking, which meant there wasn't kissing, and he could remain satisfied at that. His gut screamed at Theo to keep listening, but it made him feel shitty and awkward. He let the noise from the party filter back in, drowning out the events of the closet.

Letting himself relax once again, Theo continued to chat with his newfound party mates. It wasn't long before Trinity was out of the closet, and Wes was handing the bottle to Pete. Theo was cognizant of the fact that he had yet to go into the closet, and he was pretty sure Rae and Nelly had not made their appointed visit either. It wouldn't remain that way though as the bottle spun right around to point at himself and Rae. All he could do was roll his eyes. For someone who never struggled with women in his old life, Camp Athens sure did feel cursed to Theo on that front.

"It looks like it's my go, and he doesn't seem like a guy that likes to be kept waiting," Rae said as she relieved herself of her place in Theo's lap. She wasn't wrong. Pete looked like the kind of guy who would take full advantage of this situation. Theo smiled at Rae softly as she looked down at him. "How does my make-up look?"

With a smirk on his face and his hand still in hers from helping to guide her to stand up, Theo gave Rae a compliment, "You're practically glowing love. Have fun." Theo released her hand, satisfied to let her go. Surprisingly, he wasn't miffed at all. Theo returned to his people watching as Rae walked away, and it wasn't long before he started to feel a certain drowsiness brought on by the combination of alcohol and inactivity. The seven minutes did not feel long at all, and before Theo knew it, Rae was approaching him again. He smiled at her, but it was clear she was not intent on cozying up with Theo again from the side eye action she was giving Pete. "I apologize Theo, but I hear it's bad manners to leave a job half done. If you catch my drift. So, I think I'll retire for the night."

Theo was content enough on his own to ignore the sexual innuendo from Rae. If only he knew this was his sister, he might respond differently. He bid her a good night and managed to get himself to grab another drink. Nelly was spinning the bottle, but Theo wasn't sure he was very interested in the game anymore. As he grabbed a bottle of his favorite beer, he spotted the trio sitting away from the party. Ajax, Alex, and Daniel looked like an inviting enough group. With all the fuss and drama of recent days, along with the camp newbies, the group of camp veterans hadn't had much of a chance to talk. It wasn't like anyone needed to do much reminiscing over the events of the previous year. War sounds cool and all, but after actually participating in one, Theo didn't find it all it was cracked up to be. Theo grabbed three much drinks and wandered over to his old friends.

Ya know, camp kinda sorta sucks now. Things were much simpler when it was just us around here," Theo spoke out as he approached the group from behind. He had a smile on his face, and it was apparent that he was half joking. Only half though, there was certainly some truth behind what Theo had to say. The oldies were like a family, and while Theo was more than willing to let new demigods have the opportunity to be a part of that family, more people made things more complicated.

“I don't know how you helped him become... him again. But thanks,” Andy said. It wasn't necessary but she appreciated the notice of gratitude all the same.

At least the Hecate siblings struck her as sincere. “It was my pleasure, I assure you. I just played the therapist for him.” It wasn't as easy as it sounded, they worked on different angles of approach and Keith was a reluctant patient but they didn't need to be weighed down by talking through the process to bring her... extravagant brother back.

The more they chatted, the more Evelyn discovered about Andy and Daniel. Information was littered in the smallest comments and actions others often overlooked or thought nothing of. While Evelyn could have and probably should have been more chatty with Andy, it was better to listen to her with a kind smile right up to the point Andy led her to a small dance space. “I swear, no grinding.”

Evelyn smiled amused by the words and binding action of crossing her heart. “I appreciate that.”

Gradually the girls began to get into the rhythm, and Evelyn smiled seeing Andy look content for a while dancing. What could she draw from the girl? She was weighed down by some issues, loved her brother through all his eccentricity, had a soft spot for music and dancing, didn't peacock, was approachable and reasonable and true to herself.

Andy sighed softly. “For a minute, I could almost forget all the dumb drama here.”

One couldn't sweep their drama and issues under the rug she supposed. “Almost,” Evelyn agreed. “Did you want to talk about it?” Evelyn offered. If it relieved Andy of that ugly weight on her shoulders than who better to talk to than an impartial person such as herself. But Andy might have preferred utter privacy or to share with somebody she established trust with already.

Evelyn took Andy's arms gently, not to stop her dancing but to have her full attention. “For the moment, everybody's fine and this little circle,” Evelyn air traced a circle in their clearing, surrounded by music, “is drama free,” she smiled. That was a promise.

While Evelyn raked her hair back as she continued to sway, she caught a brief glimpse of a few eyes in their direction. Well, Andy might not have been an intentional peacock, but she gained the gaze of more than a few campers. She smirked focusing back on her company with this new knowledge.

“So,” she began blissfully unaware and Evelyn awaited the conversation to come. “Is there anyone here you want to lock lips with for 7 minutes?” Evelyn laughed pleasantly, caught off guard with a question that honestly suited the environment and should have been expected. Andy held up a hand before she could form her answer. “I don't need a name. Just curious.”

“7 minutes is a long time,” Evelyn pointed out, building up her logic. If the activity in the closet had to be lip-locking she'd need somebody thrilling and enticing. A name did spring to mind and as much as he filled the criteria, she hoped the bottle didn't reveal he was who she wanted above others. She really needed to squirm free of him and she had just convinced herself he had a new toy to corrupt and play with.

“Or are we trying to hide? Because I'm totally ok with that.”

Evelyn laughed with Andy, sipping from her own drink. “I would never rob people the chance of spending closet time with a daughter of Aphrodite.” Evelyn flickered her eyes pointedly to the people around the fire and smiled as she continued to dance. She knew some looks weren't of admiration but others definitely were. “It appears you're some sort of magnet.” She smiled.

As perfect as the deflection might have been, it wasn't a deliberate technique and Evelyn didn't care much for it when she wanted answers no matter how idle the question. “As for your question, I think I have an idea. Between you and me I'm reluctant to kiss him as much as I crave to kiss him.” Which would make the 7 minutes all the more exciting, but she didn't need to say that. Whenever those feelings were fought, they always sprang up twice as hard. Evelyn bit on her straw fighting back some compelling daydreams.

“But, ultimately, as strange as it sounds, I trust the bottle.” Evelyn winked. That was her, a real go with the flow, trusting girl. “What about you?” Of course if somebody chose Andy to spin the bottle she'd see for herself but in the event it didn't happen, Evelyn would like to know a certain somebody caught the brunette's eyes and had the potential to catch her lips.

She had another drink, closing her eyes and smiling. Talking and dancing with Andy was pleasant. That was until she dropped her drink. Evelyn managed to sidestep the glass hitting her foot in time and originally laughed at the close call until she saw all the content that spilled out which was at least double the size of what was in her glass. “Hm. That's a shame it was actually delicious. I'll remedy this situation later.” Meaning she'd definitely have words and a bit of payback with Daniel. Evelyn bent down picking up the glass removing it from their dance space. Then found a trail of cocktail down her leg. She laughed again, blushing slightly and tried to wipe it off. “At least now my leg will smell and taste delicious.”

In truth she probably was slightly affected by the alcohol. But still aware. Aware Trinity and Wes disappeared into the closet, followed by Pete and Rae and that duo left the party. Nelly had the bottle then Cherise left some time later. Evelyn looked back towards the circle to see what she could have missed, her eyes getting stuck and intrigued on Sylas. She couldn't approach him though because she was having girl time and there was a silent pact in the circle.
One: no grinding. Two: no drama. And it was lovely.

"Seems like things have become to quiet down a bit," commented Nelly.

Rae had finally introduced herself, not long after a guy had picked up Cherise for the closet. Nelly would get that guy's name another time. It did look like the two had a good time, seeing how Cherise looked when she reappeared. The girl then gave the bottle to Trinity and Nelly bursted out in laughter when she saw the blonde move Eve away from someone she'd yet to meet. She looked back at Cherise though, who was obviously getting tipsy for she feel asleep right by them. After Trinity and the attractive guy left the closet, the dude passed it onto someone Nelly saw kissing Alex. This time the bottle landed on Rae herself. Knowing that there was definite action happening there, Nelly was hoping to hear what she did from Rae after she got back. Those plans went awry though the guy she'd been with tossed the bottle to her though. Lucky Nelly had quick reflexes and caught the object.

Rae must have seen it for she replied, ""Best of luck to you, dear. Don't do anything I wouldn't do."

"Thanks! This is my first time playing this game, so let's see what Fate has in store for me."

Nelly watched as Rae address Theo before leaving with Pete. Then Cherise woke up. Without saying a word to her or Iliana, the brunette left party too. Probably for the best since the girl was over the edge. Then Theo left to hang out with Ajax's group. Looking at them, Nelly was starting to think these were 'older' campers since they seemed to be all chummy. Seeing how she was about leave herself, Nelly hated to have Iliana by herself.

"Hey are you going to be okay Iliana? Why don't you go find someone to hang out with since it'll be my turn in the closest?"

Iliana had finally turned to Nelly. The entire time she had mostly been watching Sylas, Alex, and even Wesley and Eve. Nelly's words though brought her back to present and she realized it was just her and the redhead. She really needed to pay more attention to things in front of her. She looked in the direction her brother and Ethan and took a deep breath. Maybe it was time to call it a night? But she didn't want to leave just yet. And it wasn't because she wanted to play the game. At this point she didn't care if she participated or not. No, it was because she wanted to see it through to the end. Looking back at Nelly, she decided to answer her.

~I'll find someone. I'll go grab myself a drink first.~

With that she got up and started to head for the bar, that was until she saw Wesley by himself. Hoping it was okay to talk, she walked over. However, she wasn't quite able to look him in the eye as she showed him her pad. She still recalled his anger the other day.

~Good evening. Are you feeling better?~

Nelly watched as Iliana found someone to talk to. Smiling, she stood up herself and walked to where everyone else had spin the bottle.

"Whelp! Let's give this thing a whirl!" she announced before spinning the bottle.

"You know, would it kill a woman to tell a man that he is good looking? I mean, Rocco told me you were trying to sneak a peek back at the cabin." Sloane wasn't able to tell if the comment was a joke or not. But regardless of his intended reaction, she turned bright red making sure her gaze was fixed anywhere but him.

Luckily walking across the beach didn't involve exchanging looks. Sloane couldn't shake her blushing. They didn't exchange words, not that she was complaining. Although it only allowed for her mind to race. She clung to Liam like a life line, scared of drowning in her brother's wake. She couldn't help but feel like she was monopolizing his time and help. As much as she enjoyed having someone she felt like she could confide in, her mind kept trying to find ways to pull herself away from him. Maybe figure out a new cabin situation... Or leave camp. The thoughts gave her a headache.

Liam slipped from her grasp when they reached the refreshments. "I've been to so many bars, I'm sure this can't be hard. I mean, I bet you like fruity drinks."

"I wouldn't know," she said with a shrug. Sloane was never a drinker. She couldn't remember the last time she had a drink and if she remembered correctly, it was most likely wine. Out of the corner of her eye she watched Liam mix different liquids into a glass. While he did that she wondered down to the other end of the table. Every so often she'd pick up a carrot, cheese or any other finger foods to nibble on.

After a moment or two he held out a drink completely contradicting his own appearance. It was colorful with one of those little umbrellas, something most women would enjoy. Sloane reached out to take the glass in her hand. "Sex On the Beach?"

She hesitated a moment, her brows furrowing as she looks between the drink and Liam. How was she supposed to react to that? Of course, Sloane knew that it was the name of a drink, presumably the one in her hand. But with Liam, it seemed that half of the things that came out of his mouth had innuendos or a second meaning. If it was a proposition, there were plenty of other girls willing to oblige at camp. But instead of making a scene about it, Sloane just brought the glass to her lips and took a sip. She coughed, raising her free hand to her mouth. "It's good... Just strong." She coughed again.

Sloane traced the brim of the glass with the tip of her finger, then twisted the umbrella around. She sighed softly before finally looking up. "You can go... mingle." She noticed whenever he looked at another girl which only further made her feel like a burden. She didn't know how she felt about the idea of him around other women, it gave her a weird sensation in her stomach. But, she wasn't going to change his life because he witnessed something he shouldn't have. "I'm sure there's more thrilling company."

Once the bottle was handed off, Wes glanced around at the party. It was definitely dying down. His old seat was no longer an option, as Eve remained firmly planted in the same place he left her. He wondered over to the refreshments, nodding his head toward Liam in greeting as the guy mixed a drink. The look of all the drinks didn't appeal to him. So instead, he just picked up a bottle of water, opting to keep his mind clear.

As he scanned the crowd, he saw Trinity sitting by herself. So before he left the refreshment table he grabbed a second water for her. He made his way over to her. Wes held out the bottle to her and just before he was able to sit a small blonde made her way over to him. His lips curved into a small friendly smile as his gaze fell to Iliana's tablet. "Good evening. Are you feeling better?"

Wes's smile faded slightly as his free hand rubbed the back of his neck. "Yeah, I was just... upset," he said quietly. His gaze drifted over toward Trinity as his cheeks flushed. They were getting back to better terms, like they were before. She saw the aftermath of his cabin and knew how upset he was the other day, but he still wasn't a fan of admitting it.

"I'm sorry I was an ass." He pursed his lips trying to find the words. "I don't get angry often and when I do... It kinda just implodes."

He then moved over slightly, motioning his left hand towards Trinity. "By the way, I don't know if you have met. But this is my..." Wes's voice trailed off before he finished the comment. Was she his girlfriend? They never put labels on it. He just laughed awkwardly and continued. "Trinity. Trinity, this is Iliana. I met her the other day when I befriended a rabbit." He smiled like a dork. He couldn't make that story up even if he wanted to. One thing Trin knew about him was his weird habit of befriending animals.

Wes smiled to both of the girls, before he lowered himself down on the log beside Trinity. "How have you been enjoying the party?" he asked, Iliana. "Hoping to get your chance in the closet?" He laughed before taking a drink of his water.

"Almost," Evelyn agreed to her comment. "Did you want to talk about it?"

Andy laughed and shook her head. Evelyn's words weren't funny. But the fact that the girl didn't seem to be up in all the drama was like a breath of fresh air. "You don't want to be swept up in all of that." She gave a friendly smile. "But I appreciate the offer."

Evelyn then took her arm gently. Neither of them stopped dancing, but she gave the red head her undivided attention. "For the moment, everybody's fine and this little circle." She drew an invisible circle around them. "Is drama free." Andy smiled, nodding her head in agreement. That is exactly what she needed right now. She kept her back toward the bulk of the campers while Evelyn seemed to scan the others. She paid no mind to it, just letting herself enjoy the music and dancing.

"7 minutes is a long time," the red head said. Andy laughed, it definitely was. Luckily, the only person she had been shoved in there with had no desire to make a move on her. She was thankful of that. She was already conflicted about so many things, she didn't need to toss something else in there and make it worse. But Andy would be lying if she said that she didn't have some desire to be locked in there with...

"I would never rob people the chance of spending closet time with a daughter of Aphrodite." Evelyn made her gaze evident as she looked around at the campers behind her. Andy's brows furrowed slightly. There weren't any Aphrodite daughters at camp. "It appears you're some sort of magnet." Then her eyes widened realizing Evelyn meant her.

Andy hesitated for a long minute, but then the urge to look took over. First, she saw her brother watching her. She would have thought he would have been happy that she wasn't moping in the corner, but his expression was more serious as he sat next to Ajax. She inhaled sharply through her nose knowing full well the conversation that must have happened between them. But she still tried to give Daniel a slight smile. Then she looked to Alex who was staring daggers at her. Whatever smile Andy had, faded into a glare. Her nostrils flared and jaw tensed. "I do believe some of those are death glares," she laughed. Andy let a slight smile grow on her face as she talked to Evelyn, but kept her gaze on Alex for a long moment. Maybe the moody brat would think she was talking about her. Andy didn't care.

She rolled her eyes as she went to look away. But then froze momentarily when she saw Mason, staring straight at her. Andy tensed slightly. Whatever smile she had slowly faded. Any other day, she would have grinned... Maybe made a face at him and beckoned him to join. But instead she just stood there, holding his gaze in silence for too long. Finally she cleared her throat and looked back to Evelyn. "There are far more interesting people here than me. Like that girl who shared her safe word... Or Eve." The annoyance practically dripped from her words. But she shook it off and got back into the flow of dancing.

"As for your question, I think I have an idea. Between you and me I'm reluctant to kiss him as much as I crave to kiss him."

Andy smirked at Evelyn's comment, taking a sip of her own drink. She fought the urge to look back over her shoulder one more time. But she nodded her head in agreement. "I know that feeling."

"But, ultimately, as strange as it sounds, I trust the bottle." Evelyn winked playfully causing Andy to laugh. "What about you?"

She sucked in a breath sharply through her teeth before taking a sip from her drink. "I mean... yeah," she replied nonchalantly with a nod of her head. Andy tapped the brim of the bottle against her bottom lip. "It's... complicated."

They swayed and danced in silence for awhile. Andy actually let herself relax into it, running her fingers through her hair and closing her eyes. She was lucky enough to have them open when Evelyn dropped her drink, able to back stepped quickly. She brought her free hand to her mouth, laughing softly. "Oops."

"Hm. That's a shame it was actually delicious. I'll remedy this situation later." Evelyn picked up the glass and Andy offered to take it from her. She then placed it and her own empty bottle on a table so they weren't encumbered by them. Her gaze fell slightly to the red head's leg where remnants of some of the drink remained. "At least now my leg will smell and taste delicious."

Andy laughed a true genuine laugh. Gods did it feel great to actually smile and laugh. "Call it foreplay," she teased. Now that neither of them were encumbered with a drink, she took Evelyn's hand and gave her a playful twirl. Maybe she was tipsy? Maybe Evelyn was? Either way, she didn't care. She was having fun.

Somewhere along the line Andy kicked off her sandals, letting her toes wiggle and pivot in the sand as she danced. Occasionally she'd twirl Evelyn since the girl was wear the perfect outfit to spin around in. It seemed like a lot of the camp melted away. She could feel eyes on her, watching them as they danced or maybe Alex wishing she'd keel over. But either way, she didn't care. For a brief moment Andy was happy and, at least for now, nothing was going to ruin that.

She was about ready to move again, this time onto the sand where she could sit alone, away from the music and fire and meditate on the waves. But another bottle floated in her vision. She smiled taking the water from Wes and shuffled to a side of the log assuring plenty of room for him to sit. Him and company apparently. Trinity watched the exchange, the small girl revealing a tablet and him peering towards it.

“Yeah, I was just... upset,” he seemingly replied, causing Trinity to frown. He looked at her, making Trinity cant her head slightly. It took her a bit to realize he wasn't talking about today but yesterday's drama. She pursed her lips looking away. She didn't need any guilt setting in right now. Trinity had given her apology and meant every word.

“I'm sorry I was an ass. I don't get angry often and when I do... It kinda just implodes.”

“Join the club,” she commented. Trinity sipped on her water to keep herself quiet, looking away innocently. She didn't say it to be bitchy but point out that he knew how hard it was to keep anger caged.

Wes shifted away slightly motioning to her. “By the way, I don't know if you have met. But this is my...” Trinity perked up a little. She'd love to know what she was of his. But Wes seemed to have second thoughts with a laugh. “Trinity. Trinity, this is Iliana. I met her the other day when I befriended a rabbit.”

Trinity smirked and lowered her head. “Of course you did,” she muttered. She tried not to be too taunting in front of his new friend but couldn't help herself. “He's a modern-day Disney Princess. We actually met similarly. Post minotaur taming.” She smiled. Wes certainly had no story that started with a salad.

Trinity snapped herself out of her reflection and fondness for how they developed. She held out a hand to Iliana. The girl looked a bit breakable and timid and Trinity knew she didn't have the most friendly vibes, particularly next to Wes. “I promise I'll be gentle.” Trinity winked playfully gesturing to her hand.

Wes sat by her. “How have you been enjoying the party?” Trinity wasn't watching Wes but no doubt the question was directed towards Iliana as they had not long come out of the closet together. “Hoping to get your chance in the closet?”

She grunted but sat up straighter looking to Iliana. Majority of the camp wanted to get in the closet, and half of those attendees wanted it to be with her....Wes. Protective and territorial as she was, Iliana didn't seem like an Eve so she was at ease as she could be regarding the subject.

“So what's with the secret code messaging?” Trinity nodded to Iliana's tablet. “Are you sick?” she asked, without any snark or sarcasm. It wouldn't be a bad idea when somebody came down with a flu or laryngitis to type their messages to everyone.

“Which God or Goddess do you belong to by the way? As a warning, the minute I know, I'll start questioning how your powers can be used for war.” She laughed to herself while her company may find it less endearing and humourous. If that were to be the case, she'd ditch the water and return to the beers.

She stifled a yawn behind her hand feeling the exhaustion catch up to her. She hadn't slept well last night. Even when she was about to retire for the night, she'd rather it not end so dull and with another speech (or letter) of how violence wasn't the answer. Trinity was tolerant of Liam because he was blood but this Iliana wasn't.

"Alex, that's my sister your sending daggers at," he said, catching her staring off at Andy like she secretly wanted the girl to just vanish into thin air. "It takes two to tango anyway. That applies to Andy and Ajax's decision, and...others." She left out a soft sigh and nodded. He was right, it was their choice, and she couldn't help but wonder that maybe she was a little harsh with her words towards the girl that Pete had left with for the night.

Daniel cleared his throat keen to move on. "As for your invite to Olympus, I just got back to Camp. While it may be thick in the drama department and lover quarrels and I don't know half the faces anymore, this is home to me. Not to mention I don't think I'll benefit from spending time with your dad. You don't think you're leaving camp a little vulnerable?"

Image "Maybe," Ajax began to imagine all the things that could possibly go wrong while off in Mount Olympus, and that list was endless, but he still needed to go. "I trust that many of you will be able to keep the place in order while I'm gone, though, and It won't be for long." at least, he hoped that was true. Rounding up the escaped souls of Tartarus wasn't exactly going to be an easy task without powers. "But I know for a fact who I'll leave in charge." she was the only option. A strong woman who was more than capable of handling herself and others without breaking a single sweat. "Trinity." the camp also had Liam for backup if she needed it. "I'll ask her first, of course. I don't want to spring that responsibility onto her without giving her a choice. If not, then... Liam or you who are the next best options." he chose Daniel because his powers basically had no limits with the witchcraft he and Andy had inherited from Hecate.

"Ya know, camp kinda sorta sucks now. Things were much simpler when it was just us around here,"

Alex smiled while Theo joined their little group. "I wouldn't say simpler." Ajax added without turning to face him. It wasn't that he didn't like Theo joining them, but because he had more important things on his mind. Camp Athens couldn't remain standing without the others.

"Yeah, I was just... upset," Wes replied.

Well that had been obvious, but Iliana wasn't bound to write anything like that. Instead she watch him glance to Trinity, whom she just now notice. The woman intimidated her and she automatically hid behind Wes before he turned back to her.

"I'm sorry I was an ass. I don't get angry often and when I do... It kinda just implodes."

Iliana nodded in understanding. While it was true she could get emotional, anger wasn't normally one of those emotions and it took a lot to anger her and when it did, sometimes the results were disastrous. In the murkiness of her memories of her torture, she did remember getting very angry for some reason and that was when she used her hunger moves and the regret she felt was nothing she ever felt. The memory of it made her shudder. Wes addressed her again and introduced her to Trinity. After comparing Wes to a Disney princess, Trinity got up and held out her hand in greeting.

Her nerves must have been showing for Trinity said, “I promise I'll be gentle.”

Slowly, Iliana placed her hand in hers and shakes it. Introductions out of the way, Wesley asked her how she was enjoying the party and if she wanted a chance in the closet. Writing down a response, she showed it to him while still standing up.

~It's been fine so far. I am concerned for a new friend of mine. As far as the closet goes, I have no expectations since I generally am not the party type.~

It was true about the closet. The only thing that concerned her about the closet was for Alex and Mason to be inside of it together. Well, and for Ethan to get picked. She hoped Sylas wouldn't pick him after he got out with Nelly. She hoped Nelly was okay too. Her thoughts were interrupted when Trinity spoke to her again.

“So what's with the secret code messaging?" she asked, pointing to her tablet and asked if she was sick.

Shaking her head, Iliana wrote her answer down.

~I can't speak so I have other ways of talking. I am hoping to find my voice again though at this camp.~

The idea of never speaking again did unnerve her, but she would trust in something Apollo once told her. Don't rush the healing process. You'll find your voice. He believed her lack of a voice was more due to mental trauma then physical trauma. Trinity then asked her who her divine parent was and warned her about using them for war.

~My mother is Demeter. I have a hard time controlling my powers since their linked to my emotions. I am hoping to learn to control them better. Maybe you can help me? You're Ares's daughter right? You mentioned it during the trial. I know I can be strong with my divine abilities, but I am still recovering from something over a year ago, so I am not emotionally stable yet.~

Of course Trinity could be a lose cannon herself after what Iliana had seen so far. Still she probably had better control of her abilities then Iliana.

Unknown to Nelly, the 'blessed' bottle kept on spinning as if it was trying to figure out the true desire of the one who spun it. At times it seemed to slow down, only to keep on spinning. Nelly herself didn't care who it landed on, and that's what the issue was. Nelly was someone who was curious about anyone and everyone. There were others who she was more curious about though. The bottle seemed to finally settle on someone who would satisfy Nelly's curiosity the most and it was one who already been picked. Seeing the bottle finally stop, Nelly looked to see it landed on Sylas. Well, wasn't this interesting. She walked up to the guy, who was conversing with Mason.

"Sorry to interrupt your conversation, but looks like you're up again Sylas," she said before turning to go to the closet.

Sylas turned his gaze from Mason, looking toward the red head standing before him. His brows furrowed as she addressed him then proceeded to turn and head to the closet. With a sigh and a slight shake of his head, he set his glass down beside Mason. He gave the male a confused just suggestive expression before trailing after Nelly.

Hopefully it wouldn't be too dark. She made a point to turn her cell's screen on so she could see inside of it. Curious to see what happened next, she waited for Sylas.

He took a deep breath before ducking into the closet once again. Instead of being greeted by his partner, Sylas saw the bright light of an obnoxious cell phones screen. He grimaced, raising his hand to switch off the screen and push her hand down. "It's supposed to be dark," he said with his best smile. Normally this is when he'd be putting on the moves, but this girl before him perplexed him in a way that Liv did not. Maybe it wasn't the hidden sexual tension or something. He couldn't quite put his finger on it.

Nelly smiled at Sylas's comment. "Oh really? I just wanted to make sure I didn't trip over anything. Besides, it's a force of habit. I've gone spelunking before and flashlights were essential." After that she turned off the light of her cell. She waited for Sylas to make his next move.

Sylas stood there in silence, studying her, trying to decide his next move. He finally raised his right hand, gently brushing back a lock of her hair, sliding it behind her ear. With the physical contact of his fingertips along her skin, he was able to let his powers slowly flow into her. "Tell me... What do you desire?" Each word influenced her to speak truthfully and divulge all her secrets and truths. Figuring out what she wanted, he could weave his web just so.

Nelly couldn't help but giggle when he touched her ear. Having a low pain tolerance, she was pretty sensitive. His question should have been an odd one, but to Nelly, it didn't bother her for she was known to ask things at random herself from time to time.

"What don't I desire is more like it. My mom will tell you I am too curious for my own good. At this moment I am curious if you're feeling better and who your divine parent is. I have no problem telling you who mine is. It's Hermes. What do you desire though?"

She always felt knowledge was power and more you knew, the lesser mistakes you made. Nelly hoped that by learning who Sylas's parent was she'd learn what kind of abilities he had so in case he tried anything on her, she could be more aware. Nelly was an outgoing person, but at the end of the day she would always look after herself first and safety was high on her list. She didn't trust people as a rule either.

Sylas rested his hand against the wall beside her head, looking down at her with a seductive smile. "I'm perfectly fine. Thank you for your concern," he said quietly, making sure she had to stand close to hear him speak. "My mother is Nemesis," he lied. Sure, Nelly would eventually divulge the truth but not during their 7 minutes. "Perhaps it was more than just luck that guided your bottle toward me." He smirked slightly as his finger tips gently ran down her left arm.

Nemesis huh? Nelly wasn't too familiar with that one so hopefully there was a library around her that would have those kinds of descriptions. Of course she would first find a way to clarify that Sylas was true. Since Sloane was Sylas's sibling, she would ask her, probably at another time though. And that bit about the bottle had her wheels turning. Was he implying that the bottle had some sort of spell on it? His touch was still ticklish, but now Nelly was starting to warm up a bit. Was it because of their close proximity?

"What do I desire?" he reiterated her question, quietly. Sylas pursed his lips slightly in thought before speaking up. "Now that is a secret."

Nelly pouted and said, "Awwww, will I find out eventually? Or is it one of those secrets that's too personal to say? By the way am I playing this game right? You keep on touching me, so am I suppose to do something similar?" She thought of doing that, but the thought made her nervous for some reason. That was strange, there was normally not a nervous bone in her body, at least when it came to interacting with people. Needles and nuts were a whole other story though.

Sylas hummed slightly at the verbal vomit of questions. She was nervous, had to be. The red head kept finding ways to fill the silence which through off his game a bit. But he didn't let it show on his face nor in his tone. "You're welcome to try." Which for him was basically like saying no. No one got to know that side of him unless he wanted them too. He had to fight the urge to literally roll her eyes at the obliviousness of the girl.

After a moment, he cleared his throat and took a slight step back from her. "Well, there are no rules per se." Sylas ran a hand back through his hair before slipping it into the front pocket of his pants. "Some people talk, some people kiss... Some people do more." He shrugged his shoulders leaning back agains the far side of the closet. Nelly here seemed like the talking type or babbling was more like it. She wasn't giving off receptive vibes and he wasn't particularly in the mood to be that blunt with coming onto the girl.

So instead, he clicked his tongue in his mouth then spoke up once more. "Would I be safe in assuming you've never been kissed before?"

When the guy back off, Nelly let off a sigh she didn't know she had. Something about Sylas made her nervous and she couldn't figure out why. Probably because he did have secrets. Nelly was known for being an open book, even though she could withhold information too when she had to.

"If you mean if I've ever been romantically kiss on the lips, then yep. You can probably tell that I am not very good in the romance department. I guess I can kind of blame that on my lifestyle. I moved around so much that I never made deep connections with anyone. Only people I am close to are my parents. Do you get along with your parents? Or what about your sister?"

Sylas squinted his eyes slightly as he cocked his head to the side. He was fabricating some sort of lie in his head when Nelly pulled out her phone. Looking at the screen, she saw their 7 minutes were up. "Well, look at that, time is up. I am sorry if this 7 minutes wasn't as memorable as your last one, but you're an intriguing person Sylas. I definitely wasn't bored. Have fun picking your next target hehe." With that, Nelly left the closet and see who else she could talk with.

He waited in the closet for a moment, before he pushed off the wall and followed her out. Sylas had no desire to even attempt to look like something might have happened in the closet. At one point he caught Mason's gaze and gave a haphazard shrug of his shoulders. You can't win them all. But luckily his time with Liv more than scratched an itch for the time being. He finally pulled his hand from his pant pocket to snatch up the bottle.

After standing there deep in thought, he walked across the beach. Sylas came to stand behind Alex who looked to be quite enraged at Andy's presence in the distance. He tried not to smirk as he lightly tapped her shoulder. With that brief touch, he let a little bit of chaos flow into the girl. Just enough to stoke the fire that he could feel burning inside her. All those negative emotions stirring around one name, Andy.

"I believe it's your turn." Sylas gave Alex a friendly smile before holding the bottle out to her. "Have fun," he concluded with a wink before he turned and walked away.

ImageSylas was certain the bottle was favorable of the mindfullness of what he wanted. Normally Mason would have rubbed it off to crap but in camp where anything could happen...he couldn't. Still it was hard to fully believe. Slightly far fetched as far as bottles went and seven minutes in heaven.

"Currently my attentions have been focused on the murderer. She's so close to the edge. Just needs a little push."

Mason rubbed his head. "She's lived on the edge for a while now and nobody's blown her off." Nobody could see the monster he could. Not that Mason counted himself a saint or hero, but there was a huge denial around acknowledging Alex as one. That annoyed him more than anything.

"As for Captain Zeus..." Mason turned his gaze reluctantly to the uncharming site of Alex and Ajax coddled to each other as usual. "He looks more miserable than anything I could do. If I had to guess? There's trouble in paradise."

"Hm." Mason looked back to Andy dancing freely before sighing and running his hand through his hair. "Maybe. He's not all over her for once." That shouldn't have been an indication but sadly it was especially when contrasting the previous fire. He was literally all over her. Maybe he didn't fulfil her needs and she realized she'd always come second to Alex. It wasn't like him to be optimistic though so he didn't bother getting his hopes up, amusing as they were to think Ajax...insufficient and a bad performer.

Actually, Mason would say tension entered paradise after that night. Mason looked to his acquaintance and Sylas's eyes were still towards Alex and Ajax. He was wasting his time staring at them when there were better sights to see unless Sylas wanted to play the heartbreaker card. That'd be a shame as it'd make Mason nauseous of him for a while even when knowing it's an act.

Before he could comment, Penelope approached them and requested Sylas's presence in the closet without so much as flashing them a pretty smile. Then Sylas acted like it was a mix of pleasure and pain to be chosen for the bottle. Mason had faith that his buddy could survive the closet again.

Mason slipped on his jacket and sighed getting to his feet. He had a thought to check in on Andy and make sure she was coping but watching her with Evelyn, starting to spin the girl around suggested she was in fine enough spirits and Mason's company would only ruin that. The last exchange they had, he had the feeling she wanted nothing to do with him. Mason started looking for his troublesome blonde instead. Somebody, he could openly check out and admire without repercussions. If she wasn't in immediate sight, it was likely she was off tormenting that hair model again.

Apparently he had been standing there, drinking and looking into the fire for some time because when he spotted some movement it was Penelope and Sylas exiting the closet. Sylas shrugged causing Mason to smirk. Some bottle that knew what you wanted, hey?

Image Alex gave the death glare a break thankfully. Not that Andy seemed the least bit concerned by it but Daniel was.

"Maybe," Ajax replied in regards to leaving the camp in a state of vulnerability. Sounded like half denial to Daniel. "I trust that many of you will be able to keep the place in order while I'm gone, though, and It won't be for long. But I know for a fact who I'll leave in charge." Daniel quirked a brow and gave a drum roll for effect. "Trinity." Daniel stopped dead. Last time he checked Trinity had the strength and don't take shit attitude but that's where the "in charge" qualities ended. He even glanced to Alex questioningly to ask if her brother was fully sane and aware. "I'll ask her first, of course. I don't want to spring that responsibility onto her without giving her a choice."

Daniel nodded and laughed. Asking was a start. "A great choice if you want to have us earning our pulse every day."

"If not, then... Liam or you who are the next best options."

Daniel smirked and bowed his head grateful to be thought of no matter how deluded. "I would do the same. Six o'clock rise and shine time followed by a couple beastie conjurations. Then a small breakfast interval as reward for making it. In fact, I'll make a show of it." Daniel chuckled although the idea might have been tempting. Who didn't like a little money on the side and to play God. "Who's Liam?"

"Ya know, camp kinda sorta sucks now. Things were much simpler when it was just us around here," Daniel turned to Theo and smiled. Speaking of potential "in charge" people.

"I wouldn't say simpler."

Daniel stroked his imaginary moustache again. "Yes, you looked in a real predicament being drowned in lady companionship earlier." He chuckled but really, what was so wrong with the newer faces? He would have thought Theo joined the slightly grateful spectrum. More bodies did account for more drama and scheming though last year wasn't short of that. They should have been immune to the crap. "What does an unsucky camp even look like in the eyes of Mr. Smith?" Especially when Theo had come fresh out of being a literal stud. He had four women around him, including Cherise who Daniel stole away to the closet remorselessly. He wouldn't take it back either. Theo still had two red heads to seduce and a quiet blonde.

Since Ajax wasn't feeling chatty and fell back into doom and gloom mode, Daniel initiated conversation again. "We were previously discussing who would make a good second in command. If I had to be responsible I was thinking you," he gestured to Theo. "If I was being myself though, I'd vote for me." That was likely no surprise followed by his grin.

Then Slenderman approached, slinking in. "I believe it's your turn. Have fun," he told Alex followed by a twitch in his eye. Then he did them the great pleasure of walking away.

Daniel smiled at Alex encouragingly before looking back to Evelyn and Andy as they danced tirelessly. Daniel poked up his fingers silently counting how many people he had got to dance so far. "You know this is supposed to be a party. Why don't you fellas get off your butts and make some girl's night by asking her to dance? You too, Alex." Whatever their poor or selfish excuses, Daniel didn't care to hear that kind of negativity. 'I don't feel like it, boohoo. I'm too cool, therefore everybody else should be as bored out of their mind as I am.'

Ajax or Theo could easily have a little boogey with Alex after the closet because she was a party girl and she must have been bored to rant about a girl and guy she hardly knew and be stuck in her brother's company. Some other ginger was available and Eve, Wes, if that's who Alex preferred to dance with. There were options for the miserable sods.

Daniel made his way to Wes, Trinity and the quiet blonde. "Howdy folks. How we doing? Uh, question slash favor, Wesley." Yeah, he didn't particularly care how they were doing. There were things on his mind and the Valises hadn't given him answers. "One, I'm gonna need some love and or dating updates because I am super confused." He took his place beside Wes on the log. "Like, do Slenderman and red have a thing, do Alex and 'Pete' have a thing? I'm super behind in the goss. And, uh two, if I had to do a Freddy Krueger conjuration, who would fare better between these two lovely ladies?" He pointed between the two girls then nudged Trinity. "Hi, by the way. Good to see you too."

He chuckled then held up his hands in surrender, mostly for the girl he didn't yet know. "I would never do that. To a stranger. Probably."

Daniel smacked Wes's human shoulder. "But, look at you, do you feel like a bad ass? You look like one. Just get you some sunglasses, have you say 'I'll be back' and we have a terminator." He laughed again, then leaned towards Wes like revealing a secret. "I was going to borrow your girlfriend for a dance but I understand if you'd be intimidated. I'm no son of Aphrodite but the charm's there when we're dancing. If you don't go all Magic Mike in front of these girls, there's a chance somebody else will." It was unlikely Theo or Ajax would approach Trinity but there was a chance like he said. Daniel winked to urge Wes to make his move. Through all the taunting there were good intentions.

Both the girls looked like they needed something invigorating in their night again. Daniel patted the spot next to him for the young girl that remained standing with a smile.

“I do believe some of those are death glares,” Andy observed causing Evelyn to smile. Besides after noticing that, Andy’s attention had stayed elsewhere for some time. Dare she guess, onto one of the admiring looks cast her way.

Then Andy graced Evelyn back with her awareness. “There are far more interesting people here than me. Like that girl who shared her safe word... Or Eve.”

Evelyn smirked and nodded her head side to side. Interesting in context through Andy’s eyes must have meant apparently typically attractive or something of the sort and by the sounds of it, Eve had hit a personal nerve with Andy. “You’re right, you’re probably not in their league,” Evelyn said before smiling. Sure Eve and her fellow red head gained the attention of many, in a more call upon fashion. But Andy conjured the interest in a more dignified and inner strength way. A beauty she didn't know she possessed. “Besides, interesting is subjective and I wouldn’t call you boring.”

From there, she discovered Andy could place herself in the same boat of kissing the mysterious person of appeal and that it was ‘complicated'. Evelyn hummed in understanding. As mortals things would be complicated, add the powers into the conflict and of course the drama would be tenfold.

They danced and Andy laughed at Evelyn's misfortune, no that she was sour about it. She couldn't be anyway as her area was supposed to be in luck and fortune. Evelyn grinned in turn just happy to see her happy. For a while at least. “Call it foreplay,” Andy jested, making Evelyn laugh.

“Well, I am trying to be brightside about it.” On the mentioning of brightside, Andy transformed into that deciding to take Evelyn's hand and twirl her.

The dancing partners continued to move and let themselves get absorbed in the music rather than potential drama and stares they might face. Well Andy was at least, but Evelyn was drifting between worlds. Wiggling her body and hips while stretching out her arms, finding the movement as liberating as the music, then flashing her gaze now and then to the circle for brief updates. Andy twirled her now and then, her dress spinning out with her often resulting in a smile from Evelyn.

She didn't want to spoil the spell Andy was under but Evelyn couldn't help a little curiosity sneaking in. As long as Andy didn't trouble herself with such a harmless question. “So, aside from me of course, who would you prefer as your dancing partner tonight? You might need to use them.” Evelyn added and rose a brow, meaning, she'd be excusing herself shortly. Only when she got an answer for once from Andy and it had to be a good one. “Alternatively, of course, you could use your imagination.” Evelyn shot Andy a sly and suggestive wink. There were no complications in dreamland. Or less of.

Evelyn finally nodded to the water in a gesture of where she'd be. It was on the way there she spotted two boys well outside of festivity range making themselves scarce. “You guys okay? Afraid to be crammed up in a dark space?” she teased, even with the fear of the dark and claustrophobia being common fears. Even when she knew well one had already been in there.

She didn't let them deter her from her original destination, just kept strutting on until her feet met the cool water. There she cupped some water and splashed it on her leg. As delightful as a cocktail scented leg was, they weren't playing with tequila and salt so there were slim chances of any "foreplay".

She looked back over her shoulder to Ethan who she had met and the one named Heath. Supposedly Athena's son according to the trial. She took him for outspoken and figured it was time to test that. More people had to be called out on their lies. Evelyn smiled warmly. “I'm Evelyn. I'm one of Hera's kids. She's got a wicked sense of humor,” no doubt the boys had met Eve already, “Eve and Evelyn,” she explained and rolled her eyes with a dramatic sigh.

“I apologize on behalf of my sister. It's so easy for us to feed into the darker nature of the Goddess. Eve's the wicked one of the family. But we all have a little in us, wouldn't you boys agree?”

As Ethan and Heath continued to talk about different things, they still kept an eye on the other campers. Ethan chuckled when Andy gave the bottle to Keith/Daniel. The two still didn't know what to call the guy. He in turned ended up going into the closet with Cherise. Andy in the meantime had started talking with Evelyn and the two started dancing.

"Now there's a sight that'll never get old. Hot ladies dancing," commented Ethan.

"Careful, Ethan. One of them is Ajax's girlfriend."

"True, but it never hurts to look. But maybe I should also find out who Evelyn's divine parent is before I make comments like that. If she was like my half-sister, I wouldn't have said anything like that. Then again, mother would have already told me if I had any half siblings here already."

Heath nodded before seeing Cherise and Daniel leave the closet. Cherise then in turned handed the bottle to Trinity. Heath furrowed his brow when the bottle landed on Eve, but Trinity merely shoved her out of the way to get Wes.

"Is it just me, or does the bottle land on someone that is connected to the spinner?"

"Uh, I doubt it. I mean, for you the bottle landed on Andy and prior to that, the bottle landed on Sylas when . . . . Poseidon's daughter spun it. I can't remember her name. I just remember her saying she was Poseidon's daughter during the trial."

"You might be right, but Andy was one of the people I hoped the bottle landed on because I wanted to see if she knew what was up about Keith. The odds of the bottle landing on her were pretty slim."

"So you think the bottle is enchanted in some way?"

"I can't prove it yet, but I wouldn't be surprised, especially it was Sylas who had the bottle to begin with. I wish I knew who his divine parent was. That would help me figure out what his abilities were"

"You could always ask him. Or his sister."

"True. If he's smart though, which I think he is, he won't tell me."

After Wesley and Trinity left the closet, Wes ended up giving the bottle to Pete, who in turned ended up in the closet with a redhead they had yet to meet. Once their 7 minutes was up, the redhead passed onto yet another ginger. Soon the girls around Iliana started leaving, before Iliana left to talk with Wesley and Trinity, while the other ginger spun the bottle and got Sylas. After their turn, Sylas passed on the bottle to Alex. However the attention became diverted when Evelyn approached them.

“You guys okay? Afraid to be crammed up in a dark space?”

Ethan laughed nervously.

"Yeah as silly as it sounds, that's exactly why I didn't play the game. Heath here has been in the closet already."

Heath merely grinned at his friend. He felt bad for him, but couldn't blame him after he found out why the man was claustrophobic. He himself was scared of getting stuck in between walls again. He was determined to get over that fear though. Evelyn proceeded to the beach but soon returned and introduced herself to Heath.

“I'm Evelyn. I'm one of Hera's kids. She's got a wicked sense of humor, Eve and Evelyn. I apologize on behalf of my sister. It's so easy for us to feed into the darker nature of the Goddess. Eve's the wicked one of the family. But we all have a little in us, wouldn't you boys agree?”

Heath raised an eyebrow. That was one elaborate lie she did. Almost like she did it on purpose.

"If you are indeed Eve's sister, then you both are lousy liars. I am sure Hera has a wicked sense of humor though. Care to share who your real parent is? I take it you know who I am if you remember the trial. I am Heath and I know you've already met Ethan. It is nice to meet you though Evelyn."

During this time, Nelly was still trying to figure out who to interact with. She still wanted to find out if Sylas had been telling the truth about his parentage. And she wanted to find out before she forget because she knew she had a habit of forgetting to do stuff she had planned. The best person to approach would be Sloane, but seeing how the girl was hanging out with a guy that was pretty intimidating, that was easier said then done. Plus if Sylas spotted her interacting with his sister, he might out what she was up to, and she loved getting away with things. Looking around, she soon spotted two guys near the beach. A light bulb went off in her head. Perhaps she could interact with them and have one of them go with her to talk with Sloane. Sloane was near the bar anyway so she could get another drink as another cover. Perfect! Plus she wanted to get to know all the campers anyway. Be killing 2 birds with one stone.

As she headed over there, she noticed another redhead approach them and got the tail end of their conversation with Heath talking about Eve. Smile plastered on her face, she went up to the trio.

"Good evening, I hope I am not interrupting anything important. I am just trying to meet as many campers as I can. My name is Penelope, but I prefer to be called Nelly. If ya'll are talking about Divine parents, mine is Hermes."

Heath turned to Nelly. She wasn't lying at least. Hermes though huh? This would be someone to keep an eye on then. His mother told him that Hermes was notorious for getting into trouble, but was charming enough to get himself out of it. Unlike Eris or Hades or even Hera, he never did anything mean-spirited with his actions, but could still be an annoyance. So his daughter could be the same kind of person. However Heath preferred to not make assumptions.

Ethan smiled at Nelly and replied, "Nice to meet you Nelly. I guess you already heard Heath introducing us. My mother is Hestia and Heath's mother is Athena."

Eve ignored Trinity’s rough man handling and threats, refusing to rise to the bait she even smiled politely as Trinity stole Wes away. Without her influencing magic she wasn’t batting too well, and there were better people to mess with anyway. You know people who didn’t possess the ability to put her in a shallow grave. As she watched them walk over the closet together she had the fleeting thought that those two crazy kids might just work out.

Eve considered going to bother Mason as that always seemed to put her in a good mood. One glance his way though and she changed her mind. Usually she’d find the idea of messing with him while he ogled Andy across the dance floor quite enjoyable, but not tonight. Watching it just made her annoyed.

Pouring herself another drink, Eve found herself with incredible timing as Liam presented the meek brunette that had barnacled herself to his side all night with a drink. Going so far as to proclaim it, “Sex on the beach.”

Putting down the bottle she was pouring from, she placed a hand on the table and used it to lean across to the duo. “God, I’d die for some,” She put on her best sultry voice making sure the innuendo was clear, Liam didn’t seem the he did well with subtle. Eve let her eyes wander over him, obviously checking him out. This was going to be a great test of this fledgling relationship, though considering Liam’s first words to Eve had been ‘nice tits’ she didn’t think luring him away was going to be tricky.

When Sloane coughed her way through a compliment about the drink, Eve swiped up a napkin and handed it over to her. She was about to delve into a story about the first time she’d ever had vodka, which ended with her vomiting in her step-mother’s handbag. However before she could begin, she caught Mason’s eye from where he stood by the fire. She turned back to Liam and Sloane, her eyes lingering on Liam’s body a moment longer than appropriate, a practiced move on her part. “I’ll catch you later maybe?”

She headed over to Mason with a fresh drink in hand. “You know you’re allowed to approach me first?” Eve seemed to be the one always instigating things, even now, he’d looked for her, but she’d been the one to come for him. It wasn’t like he was shy. “I was kidding about the getting attached thing.” She smirked over the rim of her drink before raising one shoulder in a half-hearted, playful shrug. “Mostly.”

After downing half her drink in one mouthful, she glanced over her shoulder where Andy still danced and sighed. A guy like Mason fawning over a girl like her, it was a cliché. With a grin, she ran a hand up on to Mason’s shoulder and rose onto her tippy toes so she could stage whisper, “I think you might be the one most in danger of trying to poke the bear.” It was an immature innuendo, but as Eve rocked back on her heels she had to fight to keep a laugh or grin bubbling out of her. Her eyes lit up in amusement. “Do you get it?”

Now it was time for question she’d woken up with this morning, not important enough to interrupt closet time, but now seemed like as good a time as any. “So, I have a question for you. With your dad,” She wrinkled up her nose and glanced over to where Alex was with her circle of friends, “you know. Do you have to go to the underworld to step in?”

“And then follow up question,” Eve wound a lock of her hair around her index finger, glancing up at Mason from under her lashes with a coy smile. Deliberately crossing the line from pleading girl to caricature of a pleading girl in the hopes of getting a laugh and winning him over just slightly. “Can I come with you?”

Pete with a lazy hand shoved into his pocket wandered on after Rae, letting her lead the way. He didn’t stop to give his farewells to anyone, he was fairly certain his presence wasn’t even noticed, let alone going to be missed. So used to his own company, and peaceful silence, he didn’t notice that they weren’t talking, or perhaps that they should be. Not until Rae took it upon herself to break it and speak out into the night. "So, did you tell me your name? Oh, and parentage. I'm new here, as you probably know, and I'm just a little bit curious to know. Not that you are required to tell me anything, of course."

It was dark, but Pete didn’t miss her curious gaze raking him over, which he responded to with a raised eyebrow. He had no idea what she was looking for with that uncertain look, she hadn’t seemed uncertain about anything else up to this point. Perhaps she was just checking that he definitely hadn’t miraculously turned into a 6’5 stud on the way up from the beach. He shrugged and squinted out into the darkness. “If I don’t want to say something, I won’t.” She should know that straight up, coercion doesn’t play well with him.

He was trying to remember what her original question was, but apparent he’d taken too long. "I'll start. I'm a daughter of Artemis. I'm pretty simple, I think. I don't like surprises, appreciate the blunt truth, and can't form secure and genuine attachments, which means less work and worry for you." Rae paused, and Pete opened his mouth to say something, the way normal conversations worked, but she just started up again. "But I love to cuddle, so if you stay the night then you're going to have to deal with that. I'm not sure why, but I am sure a lot of it has to do that men are just... warm. I'm always cold."

He nodded a few times, and blinked very slowly that was a lot to take in on a first… whatever this was. He could have attempted to take it all in, or even fill her in on the fact that she had just been flirting with her very own half-brother. Instead Pete just responded to the one thing he felt qualified to, “Blunt truth. I’m good at that.” They settled into silence again and Pete realised after what was probably too long, that he had even answered her original question, her little tirade had distracted him. “Pete. Hera is my,” He rubbed a hand through his hair, mother had never been the right word to describe the relationship. “Whatever.”

Eventually, with a little Artemis magic, Rae brought them up the steps of her cabin. He paused on the last step when a wooden raven caught his eye. He reached up and gently touched one of the moons encircling it, Rae had only arrived today and the first thing she thought to do was to put this up, that was telling. When he glanced up at the redhead she swinging the door open and motioning for him to go in first. "Welcome to my humble abode."

Pete raised an eyebrow with an accompanying smirk as she bolted the door closed behind her. “Locking me in already?” He asked. Then he turned to take in her cabin, which was entirely empty of possessions, and smelled slightly on cleaning products, strong ones. He wrinkled his nose, clearly she’d taken it upon herself to do some bonus cleaning, his cabin hadn’t smelt like this when he’d found it. He took off his jacket and draped it across the back of the couch as he followed Rae through to her bedroom.

He was hardly shocked to see the tangle of clothes strewn about. He’d shared rooms with Eve, and after that nothing about females had the power to shock him. Instead he leaned against the doorway with a smirk. “I thought you were prepared to bring some poor sod back home, the way you practically dragged me here.” He said, his voice holding a slight teasing tone, which was as playful as he really got. He enjoyed the view as she was bent over, kicking the bag under the bed. A nice, sweet guy would have offered to help.

From his place in the doorway, his eyes tracked Rae’s movement towards the bathroom. "Make yourself comfortable. I think I have sand in my unmentionables, so I'm hopping in the shower.” Pete bit his bottom lip and looked toward the open bathroom door, weighing up exactly how comfortable to make himself. Then her head and spiraling red hair popped back out for a quick moment, “Coming? Because it doesn't matter what you did on the beach - there is always sand in all the wrong places."

Pete gazed over at the bathroom for long enough that he heard the unmistakable hiss of hot water as she started up the shower. Unable to do anything but comply, Pete lazily wandered after Rae, striping off his shirt as he went. Once he made sure he got a good, long look at Rae, his pants and everything else would follow his shirt before he joined her in the steamy shower. If cuddly was the worst thing she got during the night, he’d stick around.

"It's good... Just strong," Sloane coughed, and he sort of cringed a bit at that. Okay, so maybe he would never be bartender of the year, but he tried. While she no doubt attempted to take in the horribly disproportionate drink, he poured himself a finger or two... or three... or four of whiskey. Just straight. He's that type of guy, and it didn't really get him the buzz it would have so many years ago. Not anymore. It was like drinking water - strongly flavored water.

He leaned against the table, pinning his elbows on its surface and pushing his hips and feet back behind him. Liam was certainly testing the furniture's integrity with even just some of his weight. It was very quiet for some time; just the seeming couple drinking their respective alcoholic beverages. If you can even call Sloane's alcoholic if you ask him. Not that anyone would ever. The son of Ares stared at her, and it seemed to have made her nervous because she ruined what could have been a great moment. Not saying that it would have been, but it could have! Slowly but surely he was easing himself out of his crude language and into more sensitive and kind verbiage. The man wasn't going to change overnight, but he was doing his best.

Yet, again, "You can go... mingle. I'm sure there's more thrilling company." Liam tried really hard not to look as annoyed as he really was on the inside. In fact, his expression was perfectly flat with just the smallest hint of a sigh threatening to break free from his lips. He's starting to wonder if there was something wrong with him. Then again, maybe it was nothing - maybe he just couldn't read her at all. To be fair, he wasn't used to a woman's wishy-washiness. Sometimes Sloane did these little things that led him to believe that there could be something, and then she goes off and reminds him that he's not her keeper - or she his. He doesn't even know what that means!

Luckily for the both of them, Eve had wandered over. Had she been there all along? No, no - he would have noticed all of that even with Sloane in his presence. Something about the blonde just brought him down to his very basic reptilian brain, and she digs him. She totally does. It just so happened that she was leaning directly in front of him; the pair practically breathing on one another as she makes her declaration, "God, I’d die for some."

And for a few minutes there, all it took was some salaciously plump flesh showing through the black sheer of her top, and Sloane slipped into the back of his mind. He didn't mean to do it, but he just couldn't stop it. If he had reached deep down inside and gave himself time to process whatever feelings are beginning to fester for the Eris woman, then this would not be happening. He had different wants of both ladies, but only one he understood.

One of his fingers tapped on the glass in hand as his eyes dip down to view all of her goodies since she so graciously offered him the treat. "All you need to do is ask, you know," he reminds her, his own voice dipping notes below his habitual pitch. He's in deep flirtation mode, and the way he seems to have to push his hips back a little more is indicative of the blood having had rushed from his head (though it's arguable he had any there anyway) to that place where the pants made it almost impossible to hide. He should have worn dark pants or jeans. No one ever noticed these things in jeans.

Closet time with someone is going to be hella awkward if he didn't think about things to get rid of it. But he couldn't because she's still here and she's still hot. There are things he'd do to Eve the moment he got his hands on her, but she also liked to resist him. He wasn't sure if he liked that or if it annoyed him. It was probably both. Regardless of her little cat and mouse games, one of his hands grasp some of that lovely blonde hair and forcibly pulled her forward, just a little bit. They were already close to each other anyway. He didn't want to actually hurt her, of course, but he also didn't believe that she'd mind. He's a douchebag kind of a guy - the girl comes to him, he's the dominant one. It's never the other way around. His total one-eighty from being gentle with Sloane to manhandling Eve was telling of his personality, and also of the stark difference between the two women now before him.

He whispered in her ear, "I don't think you want to keep teasing me, minx. You might regret it later when I finally get tired of it and actually just do all of the things that I know you're wanting me to do." It was a low near growl that didn't sound creepy at all. No... It was all Liam though; rough, horrible to women, assertive, and all that stuff that no one likes. He wasn't going to do anything bad to her - he had his limits, but boy was she pressing his buttons. She would probably never walk right again when she decides to stop all the coming and going. Then he let her go because he didn't want to keep her hair pulled for very long, and she didn't seem the type that wanted to stay in one place. If he had any blood flow to his brain, he might have realized that he just failed the fuck out of this test. But who could blame him?

He let her go just in time for her to look back at Mason, and so did Liam. Honestly, he didn't want to go about stealing away the girlfriend of a guy whose dad just got put away. He might have some serious issues, and the Ares child didn't want to deal with another crazy guy and his godly powers. "I’ll catch you later maybe?" But that didn't sound much like one of those questions she wanted to be answered, and he already made himself perfectly clear to her moments ago. She slipped away from him, and he watched - he watched until he caught Sloane in his peripheral as if she appeared suddenly out of nowhere like the good angel on his shoulder telling him Eve's ass was not for the consumption of his eyes.

Then it hit him - guilt. Overwhelming guilt. The worst part, yet, was that he wouldn't even dare to move because he was still horribly attentive to all of his sordid thoughts. He couldn't even speak! What the hell was happening to him? He needed to say something, and when he does... well...

"I swear to god if she teases me one more time..." he huffed in a flustered tone, letting the rest of the statement linger off into unknown territory.

Yeah, he really failed this test. This fledgling relationship, if one could call it that, was weak. Liam is trying to skirt around the idea that he has a thing for Sloane. She hadn't even slept with him yet, and he's perfectly okay with having her around, being close, catching glimpses of her when she's not looking - all of those cute little romantic things you see in movies and shit. It didn't help that Sloane was also to blame, as she kept trying to wiggle in remarks that were designed to push him away. Eve wouldn't even need magic to manipulate anything.
