Arabella backed up a step as Adelle got really angry with her. She thought she had been nice to the necromancer, attempting to stay on her good side, but that seemed to be a bust. She glanced around as a few spots in the ground started to shake. What was going on? And Adelle was saying something about being a human lover? What did that have to do with anything?
Arabella was really confused, but then an arrow narrowly missed her head. Her eyes widened to give her a very deer-in-the-headlights kind of look. She looked at Adelle who was walking away, but not before warning her of not using magic. So people were just going to shoot at her and she couldn't defend herself?! But Adelle was right, there were quite a few humans around.
The witch looked at the group of humans coming after her, but they all held weapons. Of course they did since they were hunters. They were probably trained, too! She glanced down at her shoes, thankful for not wearing flip flops and instead her converse. She took one last look at the hunters and began running. She was able to enchant her feet slightly without giving off a glow so that she was pretty fast. But, the humans were still faster.
One particularly large one caught up to her and tackled her. She hit the cement hard enough to knock the wind out of her, but she was close to the curb. Squiriming to her left, she dropped a few inches from the curb of the sidewalk to the asphault of the street. It was just enough of a drop for her to squeeze out from under him. She knew that she didn't stand much of a chance now, but she tried to make her way towards an alley where she could use some magic. Up above she noticed a creature with wings swooping down. What was Adelle thinking?! She had known the girl was a little strange, but now she was completely off her rocker!
