Strengths:
Intelligence, Levi is smart, very smart, even when he was in school, he was the smartest is in class, so he's quite skilled with his words.
Werewolf Physiology
Weaknesses:
Oddly enough, He doesn't do well with being teased, it's childish, but he's never been good with that sort of thing, it just pisses him off and it tends to land him in many a fit fight
Silver.
Personality:.
Levi is an introvert by anyone standards, he doesn't do well with large groups, and does even worse when he is scrutinized, why he would join the Pack boggles many a mind. He is quiet and reserved, and broods more often then not but with some convincing he can be talked into a party or something like that. Thoughtful and Wise, Levi is a deep thinker, always had be, as a child, for instance, while the other kids played like superheroes, he was the one sitting there, trying to figure out how superpowers would even work. He was always curious, and wondered about things, and that wonder made him want to learn more, and more, resulting in being brighter then anyone else he knew and that hasn't changed, even now he can often be found in his own head, contemplating his next move, for whatever the situation may be. Critical and Clever, He may be a man of little words, but he will let his opinion known if he finds it to be critical to the circumstances at hand. He thinks things through, a million times if he has to, to make sure he has covered all the bases, leaving little room for error. Violent, Levi doesn't do well with teasing, he was always this way, even as a child, he lets things build and build, until he can't hold it in anymore, and he'll lose it. That being said, it takes a lot for him to get angry, he'll hold it in, as best he can, but that's not always a good thing. Kind and Considerate, Levi grew up with a single mother, who had boyfriend after boyfriend, he always saw how some would treat her, decently enough, and others would hardly treat her at all. He hated how some of them would treat her like shit, and he was left to clean up the aftermath. He loved his mother, even though she was that type of woman, and always promised himself, that he would never leave a woman the way his father had, with a kid, alone, fending for them both, that, if he ever made the mistake of getting her pregnant, he would be there, no matter what, so he went through life, with that mindset on women, he would be kind and considerate.
Overall, he keeps to himself, but walks around with a chip on his shoulder, all the while, he'd rather be here than anywhere else.
Quirks and Habits:
Arching his eyebrow, he often arching his eyebrow when he finds something amusing, added with a slight cock of his head.
Sighing, sometimes he can find the people around him exhausting, so he sighs, alot.
Brooding, he has an ever present look of someone who is equal parts crestfallen, and looking for a fight.
Pursing his lips, He is an honest person, but often he has times where he doesn't want to speak the truth, so he rather not speak at all, and instead, he'll purse his lips, and to anyone that truly knows him, they knew he doesn't want to lie, but he's not going answer the question either.
Running his hands through his hair when he finds something to be frustrating, confusing, annoying, and all of the above.
Being Quiet, He earned the nickname 'Ghost' for the fact that for some odd reason, he was always very quiet, so much so that he tends to sneak up on people by accident.

History:Life as a child with a single mother is never easy, especially when she brings home men of all shape sizes and attitude types. Some were decent enough, those were the ones who only wanted sex, some even pretended to like you, but again, only for sex, and some, didn't give a single fuck about him or her, and wanted sex and a place to crash. One would think that was the worst of it but now, add in that your smarter then half of the adults around you, and you're a werewolf.

That is the life of Levi Winters,

He was never interested in the life, but it was in his blood, his father was a wolf.

Levi, however, worked hard to stay away from what he was, for most of his life, he did, he stayed in school while his teen aged friends started working, he had decent summer jobs, fixing bikes, and babysitting kids, while boys his ages were running guns and selling drugs, he was saving up for college with the hopes that he would leave the life behind and take his mother with him and he had. He earned a full academic scholarship, to a University, and had nearly finished when he realize that he would never be 'legit'.

It began his freshmen year, there he was a small town farm boy, a pretty one, all the girls like, but he was a hick, a redneck even though he wasn't, people assumed he was an idiot, but he wasn't and he was often bullied for it, yes, even in college, even his professors thought he cheated, or would cheat, he was hardly trusted. Whatever it was, people could almost sense there was something off about him. He pushed through it, though, even made a few friends, but he knew he'd never fit. It was his last year, and finally it took it's toll, he got into a fight with a fratboy, the night before a full moon, after his girlfriend was talking him up at a party he hadn't even wanted to go to, he thought it was over when he broke the guys jaw with a single punch, he was nearly but to make matters worse, the fratboy's father was a cop, They tried to make a case of it, pressing charges, they said that Levi had been approaching the guy's girlfriend, and that, she wanted nothing to do with him, the fratboy told him to back off and things escalated from there. Thankfully, there were cameras in the area that proved, Levi was only defending himself. The stress of it, dropped his grades, and made a full moon a real bitch, and that was enough for him, Levi dropped out, and decided, he needed to go back home, to where people knew him, trusted him. He wasn't going to get a real job, not with his record, and decided he'd try his hand at the family business, maybe he'd fair better with his own kind back in Cherry Blossom....

Here's to hoping.

Julie was starving, she hadn't fed in days thanks to the werewolves recently prowling the town. She was getting sick of hiding from them and depriving herself of food so she decided to go out. From what she knew there was a party that night at some house, perfect place for a meal. She put on a tight red dress that showed off plenty of leg and cleavage with her red pumps. Red lipstick and a brush through her hair and she was ready to go. Walking down the sidewalk alone in the dark wasn't a big deal to her but it was an unwritten rule of the town not to. Of course Julie could handle herself so she really didn't have to worry about anything happening unless a werewolf decided to show up.

The party wasn't too far from her apartment but it was slightly chilly making her wish she had a car or a ride. Unfortunately she could afford one, not that she really needed one but using her speed isn't a good thing in this town you never know who's watching especially at night.

Finally she arrived at the party, tons of people to choose from. Julie smiled as she walked in the door. She took a drink from the table and gulped it down before grabbing a second cup. After the second drink she wasted no time getting on the dance floor.

Lillian had called for a meeting earlier that day, she was early. She had planned for the pack to go out scouting for vamps as they did most nights. She liked the idea of them not being able to hunt every night and being forced to go days without feeding. It meant they were actually afraid of them. She paced around the table that sat in the middle of the meeting room in their pack house. The pack house was located in the woods, away from town to keep away from the humans. If humans did find it it was usually assumed that it was a normal cabin.

She went through plans for the hunt in her head but she needed the opinions of her pack mostly her Beta, Serena. Serena was the one who kept Lilly's head on straight, she made sure Lilly didn't act just out of anger especially when it came to the other pack or anyone questioning her role as Alpha.

Being a female Alpha wasn't easy, everyone questioned your leadership and your ability as an Alpha even your own pack members. Lilly could usually handle it if it was another Alpha but her own pack members usually set her off. She remembered a time when all she wanted was to be a tracker, she had the skill but when the two packs were whole she was, and still is, considered a runt. There was no way their Alpha would have allowed a runt to be a tracker, too much of a risk. She didn't understand it until later but she was always angry that she was never acknowledged for her skills until she was considered for Alpha.

Vivian had nothing to do tonight, she'd already done some practicing and parties weren't her thing. She made herself some tea as she tried to think of something to do. She curled up on her couch and thought [i]Maybe just a book[i] she thought and got up to search for one she hadn't already read in her house. Finally she settled with her mothers spell book she's read it multiple times but it always made her feel closer to her mother.

She didn't know her mother was a witch until after she'd died, she was sure her mother would have told her and her sisters when they got older but she died when Vivian was very young. Her sisters found out about their mother and lied to her about it when she finally found out. She left after that, she couldn't see herself forgiving them for hiding such a thing.

Elizabeth put the last of the plates away. There were a variety of shapes, sizes, and colours, but she always managed to have them fit nicely inside of their cupboard. She stood, closing the doors and looking around. The cafe where she worked at was empty and had been for at least half an hour. Only a few late nighters had come in, making her job of cleaning and closing the cafe much easier. She let out a yawn, despite the fact that she had no need to sleep. It had become a habit for her to yawn in order to appear more human.

Running her fingers through her dark brown hair, she let out a sigh. It had been a couple of days since she had last fed. The two packs had made it a point of trying to let the vampires (and each other) know who was in charge of the town. Elizabeth had thought that the pack splitting would make feeding easier-- after all she was now able to have a job in town instead of just wandering around-- but it hadn't. She wasn't starving, but she could feel the urge to feed in the back of her head like a nagging thought that popped up when you least wanted it. In a few more days she would need to feed. How she would go about doing this would have to be planned out. Perhaps she could scout someone or find someone Julia was tracking. If she really needed help finding and securing a meal, she knew she could turn to Arthur or to the one who had turned her. However, her protector rarely set foot in the town, preferring to feed off of people who wandered into the woods.

Elizabeth walked to the front of the cafe, looking outside at the street. She wondered what the werewolf situation was like tonight and what the rest of her coven was doing. Arthur could be doing any number of things at the moment. Rin was probably working given her occupations. Julia might be working as well. Perhaps she could text them and ask if they had seen any wolves out. She pulled out her phone and sent a group text to the three. Anybody see any werewolves yet? She hoped that there weren't any wolves out, as she wanted to go scouting or maybe even feed. She continued to gaze out the window as she waited for a response.

Gerald stepped outside into the cool air. The movie he'd been watching had just finished. He probably should have headed home, but he really had no intention to. He was still wide awake and ready to do something after sitting for a couple of hours. He turned and began to walk down the street, heading wherever the wind decided to take him tonight.

He was aware of the unspoken rule of Cherry Blossom: don't walk alone at night. Yet, he never seemed to pay much attention to it. He thought he was capable of defending himself should anyone decide to attack him. He also found it inconvenient to always walk with a buddy. Sure, there were people who were missing or turned up dead around town, but nothing had ever happened to him when he walked at night. Perhaps he was lucky. Others might say he was ignorant or stupid.

The young man stopped on a corner underneath a streetlight and pulled out his phone. Chances were that Vivian was still awake. Maybe she wouldn't mind if he came over or if they went out somewhere. Hey, so I'm guessing you're awake. I'm out walking around. Want to do something? he typed. He looked at his message and decided to edit it, omitting the part about him being out. He didn't want her to worry about him being out alone. Hey, so I'm guessing you're awake. Want to do something? Gerald hit send and then continued walking.

Blossom/The Pack House (Lillian's Pack)

Roman normally enjoyed walking through the woods. Tonight, however, he did not. Too busy thinking, he had fallen into the creek. He hadn't realized how close he was to the bank of it until he had slid down the slope and into the water. He was now wet from the waist down, making him uncomfortable and irritated. Why couldn't that have happened to one of the bloodsuckers or to Serena? Really, anyone but him would have sufficed.

After rising from the creek, he had continued on his way and now found himself only a minute or so from the pack house. As he walked, careful not to make too much noise or to fall again, he wondered if Lillian was already there. Something told him that she was. He also suspected that Serena and Levi had not yet arrived, but were somewhere in the woods walking to the cabin.

Roman could now see the cabin, lights in the windows. So the Alpha was there as he had guessed. He sighed, cracked his knuckles and neck, and proceeded towards the cabin. Not bothering to knock, he entered it. Breathing in deeply and letting out a sigh, he looked down at his wet clothes. Would any of the other pack members be bothered if he attended this meeting in just his boxers? It was a bit chilly and uncomfortable in the wet clothes and he wanted to remove them. Not seeing Lillian in the immediate vicinity, he removed his shoes, socks, and pants. He decided to leave his shirt on for now. Picking up his pants, Roman proceeded to step further into the cabin.

Maybe he had an extra pair of pants here. He sure hoped he did at least. "Lillian!" he called out. "I'm going to warn you now that I don't have pants on!" He doubted his good friend would care much right now-- after all there were filthy bloodsuckers and the other pack to worry about-- but he decided to give her a fair warning just in case she ran into him while he looked for a pair of pants and a towel.

Brood, that's what everyone said he does, wearing a mask of infinite despair and disinterest. He wasn't doing it on purpose, he just looked like that. It was his face. It wasn't his fault, it was conditioned. When he was young, he had to pretend he didn't see his mother's boyfriend of the week, beat her, lest it be his turn and then subsequently he'd Turn. He attacked more then a few of them but it would just piss his mother off since apparently she hated being alone.

Levi looked to his right, a girl smiled at him when he caught her gaze, he smiled back politely, and looked ahead.
It was a good thing he was smart, he hated this place. He hated Cherry Blossom, he hated the smell of it, the mingling scents of mortals, werewolves, vampires and magic. Problem was, he didn't have any other place to be that's why he was on this train, his body at the mercy of the motion, rocking slightly as it trudged him toward the place he was forced to call home. School didn't work. He should have known, he wasn't natural...or well he was bit too natural and the humans outside of this place, knew it, they could feel his oddity and distrusted him for it, or worse, was attracted to it which made school more trouble then it was worth so he reluctantly decided to come home, and be what he truly was.

The train pulled to a stop, and Levi rose, the girl rose too but then stopped when she realized it wasn't actually her stop. Levi gave soft smile and walked off. He could feel her eyes on him even after he left off the train. He had that affect on mortal girls, he was a werewolf, there was something inherently attractive about that, an alpha male in a crowd of weaker men, he was the Alpha that everyone wanted to challenge...he was used to it, but now, where he was going, he wouldn't be the Alpha, he was fine with that. He wouldn't mind being part of the crowd. He wouldn't mind being 'Ghost' again.

He was called that up until he left. He was always eerily quiet, sneaking up on people more often then not. He didn't know how many times he'd have to catch his mother before she swung on him by mistake in fright. A small smile tugged at the corner on his lips.

As much as his childhood was a great dissapointment, he did miss his mother and secretly looked forward to seeing her again. She told him that she'd sobered up, got a job at a diner, she was doing better now. He hoped that was true. She was mortal, he inherited his wolf from his father. She wouldn't live as long.

After a short cab ride, to a small ranch house, that seemed smaller somehow then it was in Levi's memory, Levi approached the door. He knocked once but found the door opened some.

Frowning, Levi entered the dark house.

"Mom..." He called but got no answer, he took a whiff of the air and smiled. He could smell the cake.

He'd play it up for her sake. He could tell it took her two tries to get the cake right.

He entered the little kitchen and reached for the light on the wall to his left .

"Surprise!" the small blonde woman cheered standing in front of a small cake, with a hand iced "Welcome Home Levi" scrawled across the top in red icing. and Levi pretended to be shocked but his smile was big and genuine. "Ya got me." He said and she sighed. "You smelled the cake, didn't you. " She said, still smiling, but Levi could see the disappointment in her eyes.
Image

"Yes, but leaving the door open some was a good trick, it had me going for a second." He said and walked over to her, pulling her into a warm hug. "Oh, you are so big, what am I going to do with you." She said, patting the muscles in his stomach. Levi chuckled. "Get me another bed I can't imagine I'll fit in race car frame." He joked down at her as he kissed her head. He dwarfed his tiny mother and he had to admit, she looked better, tired, but better, he didn't smell any alcohol or cigarettes, not any new ones anyway. She had actually kept herself clean for that he hugged her again. "What was that for?" She asked, hugging him back. "Nothing, I just missed you is all." He said and she clicked her teeth with an 'aww'.

"Already, well, let's eat, I know you must be starving, all the way from school, I made your favorite, Mac and Cheese still your favorite." She asked, pulling away from him and reaching for the oven.
Levi grinned. "Yes, yes, it is." He said nodding, as he took a seat. Everything in the house did seem considerably smaller then he remembered, perhaps he'd just gotten use to his dorm room, he grew up in this house.

"I'm glad your back, it's been so quiet without you around," She said as she pulled the mac and cheese out of the oven and placed in on the table. It was a round plastic thing with a gimpy leg, Levi remembered how they'd have to hold the edges and place the pots exactly in the middle so it wouldn't fall over. She smiled when he held the table top for her.
He gave her a knowing look, the house was always quiet, that's why he was Ghost. He didn't know his name wasn't Ghost until he was 11. "You know what I meant." She said, "Don't be a smart ass, Ghost" She said and they laughed.
Image
"I'm...glad to be back." He said, honestly. He missed his mother, and he was glad to see her better and single. It made coming back better.

They ate in silence for a moment before his mother finished her plate and he went in for seconds. "You know the shops still yours. He left it to you." She said and Levi nodded. "I know." He said around a mouth full of food. "Are you gonna reopen it? We could use and now that your back...." She said and Levi sighed. After his father died, he left him his auto shop, Levi hadn't wanted it, so it was closed up but the deed was always his.
Image
"I know, I know, I just...."He paused. He didn't want to accept his failure, taking the shop, opening it up, meant that he really did fail at school, at the life he wanted. Levi had never failed at anything more. His mother took his hand.
"It's okay, Baby, some of the most successful people, dropped out of high school, so in my book, you're doing great." She said tossing her free hand. His mother used to live in the south, and sometimes, he could hear it in her voice. Levi chuckled. "Alright, I'll check it out." He said with a smirk.
"Good, because my mini coop is completely dead." With that Levi burst out laughing and his mother joined him.

After dinner, Levi cleared the dishes, while his mother went to bed, she had a shift in the morning, which he was glad to hear her say. Levi told her he'd walk around town, and check on the body shop and crash on the couch when he was done.

So with that, he departed, his nose twitched, as he got to the town square. There were vampires everywhere.

At around 3 pm Serena woke up to Lillian's text asking for her to meet at the Pack house before their hunt. Usually Serena would have been pissed to be woken before 4 but on this occasion she sucked it up and agreed to the plan. Lilian had always been a bit on the impulsive side so the fact that she wanted to head out with a plan was a refreshing change. Deciding that she might as well get up Serena dragged herself out of bed and into the shower. Working at a club had it's perks, one being that as long as she made sure to write it on the schedule her shift ended at 10, just in time for her to go hunting with Lilian's pack. After emerging from the shower she got dressed and, finding a severe lack of food in her fridge and cabinets, went to the store. As she walked up and down the isles Serena realized that she hadn't been shopping in a while, mostly eating at the club or the local diner.
When she returned home, at around 5 pm, Serena grabbed her mail on the way into her house. Putting the groceries away Serena set aside a can of soup, warming up in the microwave when she was done. As she was eating Serena took out her phone to call her boss, James, and started to flip through her mail. "Hello?" Serena smiled, setting aside the electricity bill she had opened and continuing through the small pile. "Hey boss I was wonde-..." At the sight of the letter in her hands she stopped, the smile disappearing from her face. After a few moments of silence James cleared his throat. "Um... Serena is everything alri-" Serena jumped up from her seat and went to look out the window as she spoke. "I can't come in tonight. I'm sorry." Disconnecting the call Serena slipped her cell into her pocket after a moment of contemplation. While she had no doubt of who the letter was from she didn't want to worry Lilian about it. After she had checked to make sure every entrance was locked up tight Serena went back over to the table and sat heavily in the chair, staring at the letter silently.

~Four Hours Later~

Shaking herself both physically and mentally Serena took her now cold soup and dumped it out, tossing it in the sink. She didn't let her mind wander back into the painful fog of memories it had wandered in for the last few hours, instead going to the bathroom to wash her face and change. Checking her cell she realized how long she had been sitting at her kitchen table, it now being near 10 pm, and winced at the fact that Lilian had sent her a text asking where she was. Heading out Serena decided to take the quick route to the pack house, straight through the town square, since she was already late and it was in the woods on the other side of town. As she walked she stared down at the letter which she had unconsciously taken with her. Her distraction almost kept her from catching Levi's scent. Looking up quickly at the first hint of it Serena took notice of the fact that she had reached the town square and on the other side Levi was walking the opposite direction of his house. 'He must have gotten back today... For a moment she stood staring at the man her friend had become but then quickly shook her head and slipped into the crowd and headed in the direction towards the pack house. 'Hopefully he didn't see me...' At the thought she quickened her pace, telling herself that it was because she was late and not because of the letter burning a hole in her pocket or the dark-haired loner who had just strolled back into town.

Ten minuted later, at exactly 10:20, Serena arrived at the pack house and walked in. Her gaze having been down, her thoughts elsewhere, she didn't notice Roman until she shouted out ahead of him, causing her to look up. It only took a moment for his words to register but it was a moment to late. Turning away quickly Serena slammed the door shut behind her. "What the fuck Roman!" Keeping her gaze averted, a blush creeping across her cheeks, Serena stormed towards the meeting room giving the half-naked male a wide girth. As she entered the room Serena tried to get a handle on herself but wasn't able to remove the scowl from her face or the turmoil of emotions in her eyes. Tossing herself in a chair Serena caught Lilians eyes and shook her head, speaking offhandedly. "Lily you need to stop pacing, gonna give yourself a headache." The moment the words left he mouth Serena groaned and put a hand to her own head.

Willow groaned as she slowly woke up in her bed in her tiny studio apartment. Very glamorous for a pack Alpha. But it keeps her more under the radar than living in a fancy house in a small town like Cherry Blossom. Plus she was rarely in it other than sleeping, when she slept alone or showering. She rolled over in the plush bed, holding the fleece blanket up to her face as she squinted as she looked at the clock. 6:23pm. Damn, over slept. Well... She always slept during the day. She tended to feel more alive at night. Plus vampires can't be out in the sunlight so she always figured it'd be best if she slept when the sun was out and was awake while those blood suckers were awake. Will didn't want to get out of bed if she didn't have to. So she grabbed her cellphone and the first thing she did before checking messages or missed calls was see what time sunset was at... 8:47pm. So she could technically go back to sleep but after flipping through her texts she wouldn't. Apparently the other pack was having a meet and well... Willow wouldn't miss that for anything.

After laying around lazily in bed for about another 20 minutes, playing stupid games on her phone, Will finally dragged herself out of bed and into the shower. She spent at least a good half and hour in the warm water trying to wake herself up and prepare for another night. If Will was going to crash a meeting, she needed to look hot while doing it. That was her style. Will tore through half of her closet before she found an good enough outfit. It probably took her double the time it took to get an outfit, to do her hair and makeup. After all she never knew who she could run into out and about. Always had to look her best.

When Will was finally ready to head out it was only 15 minutes until sundown. She figured she'd roam about the streets seeing if there were any blood suckers up to no good before she made her way towards her destination. The streets of the town were bustling with life, mostly human from what she could tell. Surprisingly there weren't any vampires, at least not where she was. No doubt a lot of people in town knew who and what she was... So she assumed the vampires were smart enough to try and avoid her when they saw her. That was, at least, until she got to the square...

It reeked of vampires but no blood... Not yet. But eventually something else caught her attention, a different scent. She followed it instinctively, running her hand back through her long blonde hair. Then she saw the culprit. A tall male, dark, mysterious... A wolf too. A wolf she does not remembering see or smelling around Cherry Blossom. She smirked to herself as she slowly made her way around him, brushing her hand along his shoulder blades as she made her way around to face him.
"A new puppy in Cherry Blossom..." Willow looked the handsome male up and down. "Now what is a tall drink of water such as yourself doing out alone?... Hasn't anyone told you it's dangerous here at night?"

◀◄Levi stood at the front of his father's old store. It had always been a part of the Cherry Blossom skyline so to speak. In big bold letters announced "Winters Auto Body" It had been boarded up for as long as he could remember, but no one ever touched it. His mother had gotten offers on it, and she still somehow made payments but the building was never used. She'd hoped one day he'd grow up and take over. He never wanted it. He was always good with cars, he wanted to be an engineer, and he was for the most part, only it wasn't legalized. He wanted to work at a big place, creating new technology, instead of just being a mechanic. That's all he was though, that was the truth of it. He was only a mechanic.
At least she got what she wanted.

Levi reached up, touching the wooden that boarded the door. He looked before he pulled the wood clear from the nails. He looked behind him again just in case anyone heard or saw. He was careful to hid who he was in school, now it was just out of habit. Cherry Blossom was littered with the supernatural.

As if called be his thoughts, he caught a scent, two of them, one was familiar, the other was not. He wasn't sure if he was ready to see Serena yet, not that it mattered as the other was closing in.
Image
A soft hand brushed across his back, Levi only turned his head, watching the sensual blonde as she moved in front of him. "A new puppy in Cherry Blossom..." She said, with a kittenish look in her eyes as she looked him up and down. She must be new too. "Now what is a tall drink of water such as yourself doing out alone?... Hasn't anyone told you it's dangerous here at night?"

Levi decided he'd play along, the woman warmed his blood in a way that was hard to ignore.

"I've heard rumors." He said, his nostrils twitching. She was differently a wolf. "It gets wild when the moon is full." he said, carefully as he watched the eyes of the blonde. She had an aire about her. Confident, for sure, but possessive. If he had to guess, he figured she was an Alpha and he was about to be recruited. He could be wrong.

"Levi, Levi Winters....Friends call me Ghost." he said and offered his hand to her. "What can I do you for?" He asked, mindful of his chosen words.

Now that Willow had the young wolf's attention she grinned a very sly mischievous smile. She could tell from a distance before she approached him that he was attractive, but something about his gaze hypnotized her. Between his direct gaze and enticing scent it gave her sensations that she in her many years as a wolf hadn't felt. Maybe it was just because he was new and didn't know her. But if anything it intrigued her more.

"I've heard rumors." Willow smiled while a soft chuckle escaped her lips. "It gets wild when the moon is full." She tilted her head to the side slightly, her gaze not leaving his. "That it does... Well at least I do. Life's too short not to get a little... Wild." The more that Will studied the young wolf she felt like she'd seen him around somewhere. Or maybe at least heard of him. She also couldn't help but wonder what deductions he was making of her. Will always found people's thoughts about her particularly interesting. She was unique that was for sure.

The young man then introduced himself to her,
"Levi, Levi Winters....Friends call me Ghost." "And am I... a friend?" Ah, she had heard of him before. She didn't quite put 2 and 2 together until he said his name. Doesn't help that she hadn't met him before... And she would have remembered those eyes. He then extended his hand towards her. Will smiled, slowly raising her hand to gently place it in his larger palm. "Willow Sanders... Lot's of people call me lot's of different things. But you, my dear, may call me whatever you'd like."

Levi didn't beat around the bush when it came down to getting to the point. "What can I do you for?" Will smiled as she leaned a shoulder against the wall. "I was merely being curious... I hadn't smelled your scent before." Willow still couldn't help wondering what brought him back to the town. Not that she was complaining about more eye candy. But it wasn't often that people came back to Cherry Blossom. Most left and never came back. "What brings you back to Cherry Blossom?... Unless... Did Lillian recruit you? I wouldn't be surprised if she did."

A stout, older woman, was shifting through a filing cabinet with a practiced air, in the backroom of a Day-Care Center, and so busy with her work that she did not notice the steady tread of a young man entering the room and stopping short of an arm's reach behind her. He was dark of hair and eye, and his fair complexion had a healthy glow to it even in the dimmed lighting. He was quiet, purposeful, and had an unnatural stillness few his age could ever match. He had flecks of dried yellow and blue paint speckled on his fingers, and hand/finger-print's of the same colors gripped around his wrist and fore-arms, the evidence of a busy day and Markus's unworldly patience. "Ma'am," He rumbled, as gently as he could, still a conga line of shivers ran across the elder care-taker's shoulders and along down her spine. Markus may have felt down right apologetic of his decidedly rough voice, if his employer hadn't asked him to be up front today to collect and return the children from and to their parents - and no less than two people had complained to their significant other as they were leaving, in perfect earshot for even an ordinary mundane human to have heard, that they weren't particularly comfortable leaving their children with such a 'brute'. And while he guessed he couldn't blame them, as humans were naturally frightened (or aroused, as the case would've been in situations not concerning their children, he supposed) of hybrids like him; and maybe he wasn't thrilled with adults in general, because yes... Children, fluffy or not, he could more easily adore - made of a little salt, a squeeze of lemon, a bucket of sugar, and a forgiveness for his kind (whether they knew it or not) that lasted for a time, long enough like they were on his Preschool watch, before they grew up and became like their parents eventually. Markus continued, "Last kid was out at 3:30, and everything's' been cleaned up. Can I head out for the night?" "Yes, Thank you. I'll see you tomorrow morning. Goodbye." The matron resumed her usual tact, rough but proper, as she dismissed her youthful employee - even though she was unwilling to raise her eyes from the cabinet to make sure he had heard her, all though, she needn't have bothered anyway. He took his leave after her response and picked up this week's paycheck off the counter, before departing out the door to the spare closet to grab his back-pack (mostly empty except for a lunch bag returned haphazardly within, and a set of keys for a bike lock) - heading to the bike rack to collect his ride, and headed on to the quaint little home he shared with his elderly parents...

---

Markus started awake as his phone suddenly thrilled loudly a text alert with a muted groan, and an aching feeling that felt like he had only just closed his eyes moments ago - he'd only wanted a spare hour or two before dinner, and/or before any pack-mates (which for most, it was a night off patrolling, and general free-time for all) sent questions for him to answer. He stretched idly to fetch the phone buried underneath a pillow, scowling at the time, which was just under a two hour nap, which wasn't awful; and then at the blighted text message that had awoken him up in the first place, and blighted would've been an understatement. "Hell's bells..." He snarled under-breath to himself as he read Willow's message, before texting a short reply of - "On your tail." - in return. Right. The plan of crashing a meeting of the other pack, sitting down to 'own' the place, and raising hackles galore, wouldn't be a smart move without a necessary wing man - you know, just in case things went south? Oh, what joy of being her Beta sometimes, or well, sometimes? Pft... He threw the covers off, and shoved himself upright, and moved towards the bathroom. Knowing a hot shower would awaken him quicker, and wash off the preschooler paint markings off. And with a fresh set of clothes he was set to get on the road.

There was the concept of being fashionably late, Markus supposed, but it usually was considered when it was a party you were actually invited to - not one you planned to crash. And so, he was genuinely surprised, walking on foot, that he'd managed to catch up to his alpha's scent still in the town proper, instead of further into the wood's nearing Lillian's pack house; and upon rounding a corner into the town square was greeted with the sight of Willow leaning up against the wall, talking with a dark, well-looking stranger... A new wolf? No. His nose twitched, as he drew closer, feeling no need to hide his presence as a 'human' walking down a well lit street towards them, it was different, but familiar, and old, nearly forgotten, scent. And his voice? Contained mannerisms? Newly returned? Ahh, Ghost, probably... "Evening." Markus mused - short, sweet, simple, and to the point. As he eased to a stop beside Willow, tossing a polite greeting nod to the other male, before sparring her a slightly pointed look (w/out the eyebrow raised, as of yet) - as if saying Well?

"And am I... a friend?" Ghost shrugged in response as if to say, Perhaps. She took his hand and he gave a gentle but firm shake. "Willow Sanders... Lot's of people call me lot's of different things. But you, my dear, may call me whatever you'd like." She said, with a kittenish smirk and Levi nodded.
Once she leaned against the wall of his father's shop, her coy smirk still on her face, Levi crossed his arms. "I was merely being curious... I hadn't smelled your scent before." She said and Levi gave a single shouldered shrug.
People didn't usually come back to Cherry Blossom, if they made it out at all, the reason they left, would keep them out. He would be the minority in this case, for certain. "What brings you back to Cherry Blossom?... Unless... Did Lillian recruit you? I wouldn't be surprised if she did." Willow said and Ghost looked at her with a twitch of his brow. Lillian? Was she the new Alpha?

"No, She didn't." Was all he could say before another wolf's scent invaded his senses, male this time He turned to see the man approaching. "Evening." He said, to Ghost with a polite nod. While he gave Willow a pointed look that made Levi arch a dark brow. He knew the man, or his scent at least. He turned toward the man, and held out his hand, the wolf in him sizing him up in the back of his head. "Evening....I know you right?" He asked, with a small frown. He couldn't place him, but Levi did grow up here, there was a good chance that he could have known him a kid, or in high school before

Willow could tell Levi was the strong silent type. And for her that only drew her in more wanting to know what hid behind the tough, quiet exterior. He at least acknowledged what she was saying with shrugs or head nods. She continued to study him curiously, gauging every movement and action he made. Will couldn't put her finger on what it was about him, but she was determined to find out. But as she watched him she couldn't help but smirk a wild mischievous grin while running a hand through her blonde locks.

Levi finally gave her a verbal answer regarding if he was recruited by Lillian.
"No, She didn't." Interesting. She shifted where she stood, tilting her head in a curious manner causing her hair to veil have her face. "Fair game." Will could smell Markus approaching but before he joined them she added, "Well there are 2 packs here in Cherry Blossom... Lillian's and- She was cut off by her Beta's appearance making the duo a trio. "Evening." Will gave him a sideways glance momentarily although she kept her body facing Levi. Her gaze was direct and wavering. That was until her cellphone gave a little chirp. She reached into her back pocket, pulling the phone out. "Pardon me handsome."

Willow unlocked her phone, her gaze flitting about the group text message from Lisa.

At a party. There's a vampire here.

Will scowled down at her phone, a growl rumbling in the pit of her throat. She assumed Markus had already seen the message and was waiting for her orders. Her stance shifted to a slightly more dominant position as her thumbs feverishly tapped upon her phone, the screen illuminating her face.

Markus & I have plans ruffling feathers of the
inferior Alpha. Don't engage without back up.
You're in public so they shouldn't attack.
Stay alert & inform if anything develops.

Willow cleared her throat in frustration while shoving her phone into the back pocket of her skin tight pants. "Sorry that was rude of me... Alpha duties." Will then did a double take finally taking it what Levi said about possibly knowing Markus. "Wait you both know each other?" She motioned back and forth between the 2 while furrowing her brows in confusion. "How is it you could know him?... I've been in this town for over 100 years and never crossed paths with you before." She took a slight step towards Levi looking him up with a predator like gaze. "I would have remembered you."

Will didn't notice the appointed glance from Markus, or maybe she did but didn't digest it until that moment. She rolled her eyes slightly because of him, expecting some sort of comment later on when they're alone. She hadn't even realized how much time she spent wondering the town and talking to Levi. Will reached out grabbing Markus' wrist to look at his watch, cursing under her breath when she saw the time. Her attention shifted back towards the mysterious stranger. Her angered facade quickly fading to a seductive smile once again. "Unfortunately lover-boy... I have plans to stir the pot. Although," She stepped towards him, raising a hand to brush back a loose hair of his from his face before whispering, "I'd rather spend my time here... Trying to decode you." Before she turned away she added one more comment, "Don't be a stranger Ghost."

Willow slowly turned towards Markus, allowing her gaze to linger on Levi for a long moment before she turned her complete attention to her Beta. "Alright Mutt... Let's go." She slid her left arm under Markus' right arm, resting her hand on his forearm allowing him to guide her down the street. After a few strides down the street she stopped momentarily to glance over her shoulder towards Levi. "Hey!" She called out to him, "You don't seem like a Ghost to me. A ghost is tame... You're more of a Phantom." Will smirked, "But don't let anyone else call you that. That's my name... And I'm possessive of what's mine." Will winked towards Levi before disappearing down the street with Markus.

Once they were out of ear shot of anyone else, Will slowed down their pace as they walked, her arm still linked in his.
"Shut up." She peeked over at him from the corner of her eyes. Will knew he'd have some smart comment about Levi so she wanted to shut him up before he said anything. After another long moment of silence she spoke up again. "So should we arrive fashionably late to make an entrance?... Or should we arrive on time so Lillian starts her whole spiel so that she chokes once she sees us?"

Lillian froze when she heard footsteps come in through the front door of the pack house. When she sensed it was only Roman she went back to pacing the floor. Roman was her long time friends, they basically grew up together until he and his family moved but that was before the pack broke in two. Though she'd never admit it she was hurt when he left to go to New York with his family but she understood. When he returned and she had to chose between him or Serena as her Beta she chose Serena. After that she noticed him being a little cold towards her and she already knew he didn't like Serena much since she and Lily had gotten close since he left. She understood why he was hurt by her decision but she never had the chance to explain why she chose her instead of him, maybe she would soon enough.

"Lillian, I'm going to warn you now that I don't have pants on!" She looked towards the door in confusion but honestly didn't care at the moment but it would be un-Alpha like of her to allow that so she responded in a slightly awkward voice "So put some on!" and with that she silenced and paced thinking of her plans for the hunt. She knew there was a party tonight and if she knew vampire's she knew they would find at least one leech there. However they wouldn't be able to use everyone there in case it was a distraction to let the others hunt.

"What the fuck Roman!" Lily heard just as she sensed Serena had walked through he door. She smirked finding it sort of funny but she continued to pace and only looked up from the floor when Serena, thankfully, walked through the door instead of pants-less Roman. Serena let her pace for a minute or two before breaking her concentration. "Lily you need to stop pacing, gonna give yourself a headache." Lilly couldn't help smile "My headache started when Roman said he didn't have pants on." She muttered but forced herself to sit down. "I can't help it. You know how I get, Plans aren't my thing. What if something goes wrong?" As an Alpha she couldn't help but worry about her pack and the innocent people that could be hurt in the process of them trying to kill the vermin that are vampires. Hey I think there's a new wolf in town. I've never sensed him before, think you can check that out for me tomorrow?" She asked before turning towards the door Roman I swear, get some pants on and get in here!

She had picked out her potential lover/dinner, who was a little more drunk than she was but the drunker the better. While they danced together she felt someone bump her from behind and was ready to turn around and yell at whomever it was but saw a woman. Now Julia isn't one to yell at woman unless there's a good reason like she's being a bitch. The woman apologized with a smile and went further into the crowd with her friends before Julia could respond. There was something about her but she couldn't put her finger on it at the moment. She ignored the feeling, for now, and lost her dinner somehow. Frustrated she left the dance floor for another drink or two and pulled out her phone. She saw a text from Elisabeth, a group text, Julia hated those but she replied anyway -Not that I've seen. Out at a party, Plenty of humans ;)- She pushed send and put the phone back in it's place in her purse before picking up a cup and chugging whatever was inside.

Before she picked up the second cup she sensed something she didn't want to worry about tonight, werewolf. She scanned the room but couldn't tell who it was so she focused on acting as human as possible. She pulled out her phone again -Werewolf just arrived. Might head out, might not.- She sent the text and put the phone back. She honestly wasn't sure if she should even be worried, this one was alone but it could have called for backup once it sensed her.

Just as she settled down with her mother's spell book she heard her phone buzz. She tried to ignore it but her curiosity got to her so she put the book down and picked up the phone to see a text from Gerald. She smiled, she liked Gerald he was nice and probably one of the only friends she had in town who was actually human besides the sheriff. -Sure. Not doing anything. Where we meeting?- she texted back and got up out of her seat. She picked up the book and put it back in it's hiding place before going to find something suitable to wear. She finally found something, a casual outfit, jeans and a tshirt with a pair of sneakers. Pretty plain but she was fine with it. She sat back down awaiting a response as she finished her tea.

Elisabeth continued looking out the window, daydreaming of simpler times. Times before she didn't have to glance over her shoulder at night, before she was in this war between species, before she was a bloodsucker. Some days she would think about her family and wonder how much they had been hurt by her death/disappearance. After all, her body would never been found even if she was truly dead. The vampire who had turned her had transported her across the country by the time she awoke. Still, it would have been nice to have a proper goodbye with her friends and family. But there was no use in being sad about it, as it was out of her control and always would be. On a few occasions she had observed her siblings from a distance and they seemed happy enough. That was good enough for her.

Her thoughts were interrupted by the feeling of eyes on her. She turned to meet them, making eye contact with a young male next to a motorcycle. Though it was only a moment or two before he put his helmet on and rode down the street, Elisabeth felt that he was familiar. She knew she had not seen his face around Cherry Blossom before, as she knew nearly everyone here-- whether they knew it or not. It was her job to scout the town for potential meals (though she considered this part of her job pointless, as others often ate whomever they desired), know who was in Cherry Blossom, and know what was happening around town. No, it was not his that was familiar but his entire being. She was almost certain that he too was a vampire.

Perhaps she should follow him and find out who he was. What would Arthur think of this? The coven leader could be quite unpredictable. He might decide to rip off the other man's head or he might happily offer him a spot in the coven. Something told her it would be the latter, considering the current werewolf situation. Though the pack was split and the two resulting packs did like to ruffle each other's feathers, they still had the common goal of protecting the humans from vampires. So far none of the coven had been bitten, which was a good thing. Elisabeth had never experienced a bitten vampire before, but Arthur had told her that it results in the afflicted slowly going crazy and attacking the members of their coven. This was not something that Elisabeth wanted to happen to her, though she had a feeling that some of the wolves would rather just kill her on the spot.

Willow would likely be one of those wolves. Truth be told, the young vampire was rather scared of the Alpha. She had a formidable look and presence. It was as if she were telling the whole world that she is not to be messed with. Lillian was intimidating too, but not like Willow. Still, both Alphas could hold their own in a fight.

Elisabeth was again pulled out of her thoughts by her phone vibrating. She looked at Julia's message, saying she hadn't seen any vampires and was at a party with lots of humans. Elisabeth didn't need to feed tonight nor did she enjoy parties. The music was loud, the humans reeked of alcohol, and there were just too many people in one place. She could see Julia thriving in that sort of environment though and was happy to hear that her coven mate was ok.

She was considering leaving the cafe early when Sheriff Dawson walked in. Any hopes of finding out who the mysterious young vampire was would have to wait. Elisabeth was obligated to serve any customer no matter how close to the end of the night that they walked in. Besides, she should have suspected there Sheriff would come around for a late dinner. That's just what she did.

"It's slow in here today. You think it's because of the parties?" the Sheriff commented as she took a seat at the counter. Elisabeth walked from he window back to her spot behind the counter. "It's been pretty slow all day. Nobody has been in in at least half an hour." Thus, she had started cleaning up the cafe ahead of schedule as she hadn't expected any more customers. "It could be," she said, responding to the Sheriff's second statement. "It could also be that Cherry Blossom isn't safe at night. After all, people say you should always walk with a buddy." It was the truth after all-- Cherry Blossom wasn't safe at night. The Sheriff knew as much too, though Elisabeth doubted she knew the true reasons.

"How have you been Elisabeth? It's been awhile." The Sheriff was glancing over the menu, despite coming to the cafe quite frequently. Humans were odd that way. Had she done that as a human? Elisabeth really couldn't remember. "I've been fine. Just working here and reading lots of books." She was thankful that she didn't need to attend the local high school to pass as human. If she did, she felt she would go insane. Instead, she was able to work and obtain money for books and clothes. What she didn't spend was saved for whenever she decided to fix up her house, which would probably be deemed unsafe to live in if a human lived there.

She smiled as she handed Shane a glass of water. "How have you been Sheriff Dawson? It can't be easy trying to deal with all of the recent deaths in the town." There was no denying the deaths of humans around the town whether it be vampire related or natural. Elisabeth decided to bring it up for two reasons: she was interested in what the Sheriff had to say about the murders and because she didn't know what else to talk about. A human her age would probably be curious about what the Sheriff was doing. Humans were both curious and disgusted by murders, so Elisabeth believed this wouldn't raise any alarm by her asking about it. Plus she could gauge how much the Sheriff knew about the true nature of the murders, though she still had doubts that Sheriff Dawson was aware of the supernatural presence in the quaint town of Cherry Blossom.

Elisabeth's phone vibrated in her pocket. She pulled it out and read the text from Julia, stating that a wolf was at the party. Of course, that wasn't enough to convince Julia to leave. The blonde vampire would probably stay unless it was either of the Alphas or Betas. So there was probably no need to be concerned at this point. Elisabeth couldn't do anything anyway, as she was busy doing her job. Ok, don't make a scene and be careful, she replied before placing her phone back in her pocket. If Julia did need help, she could always call Arthur or Rin.

Gerald decided to head toward the center of town, knowing that the streets there were well lit and well travelled (at least during the day and early evening). He had no personal concerns of being attacked as he walked, but he figured he would play it safe just in case tonight was the night someone decided he was a perfect target.

He continued walking, enjoying the cool spring air. It wasn't terribly late, but he was still surprised to see a trio of people on the next block. The trio quick dispersed, with a male and female heading his way while the other male walked away opposite of them. The female called out to the lone male. However, Gerald did not pick up on what she said. His phone had vibrated in his pocket. He read the text from Vivian, more intrigued with it than whatever the woman had said to one of the men. Remembering that they were walking towards him, he moved off to the side so that the two would be able to pass him.

Honestly, Gerald hadn't planned what to do, where to go, or where to even meet. He just wanted to do something with someone. He really should have thought ahead, as now he was left staring at the keyboard of his phone. It was late, so most stores and restaurants would be closed right now. The movie theater was still open, but he wasn't in the mood to see another one. He tried to think of somewhere where they could go that would be open, have something fun to do, and wasn't near any shady parts of town.

He couldn't come up with anything and felt increasing pressure to reply to Vivian. Well, what do you want to do? he decided to ask. I'm at the center of town right now. Even if he did have any ideas for what to do, he would go with whatever Vivian wanted to do (unless it was along the lines of robbing a bank or another illegal activity). He just wanted to hang out with his good friend.

Gerald placed his cellphone back in his left pocket before proceeding to walk down the street.

Apparently taking off one's pants was no appropriate in the Pack House, even if one did so because he fell in a creek. Roman had been hoping for a more playful response than the one he received from Lillian, but wasn't surprised by it either. He really shouldn't have taken his pants off, but at least he announced it before walking further into the house. It wasn't as if he was planning on walking around without pants on for the rest of the night. As soon as he found another pair and a towel he would be properly clothed.

Just as he was about to go in search of some pants, Serena walked in. And I thought falling into the creek was bad. Well at least she didn't- "What the fuck Roman!" Nevermind. Roman couldn't help but grin as Serena passed by him. While it was rather unfortunate that she saw him in such a state, it was also rather amusing. She obviously didn't think it was judging by her reaction.

Roman laughed as she quickly walked around him with eyes averted. "C'mon, I'm not naked or anything!" Serena, not caring if he was naked or not, disappeared into the meeting room. Still amused at her horrified reaction in comparison to the terse one he received from Lillian, he entered the house on the quest to find pants. He knew he had an extra pair in one of the rooms, but wasn't sure exactly which one. He had been drunk when he'd dropped them off, but at least he was thinking straight enough to actually bring clothing to the house in case of emergencies.

He quickly checked the bedrooms of the Pack House, but didn't find his clothing in any of the wardrobes or drawers. Where the hell had he put his clothes?! He closed his eyes, trying to remember. When he'd come to the house, he'd gotten a glass of water before putting his clothes... somewhere. Well, at least he knew they weren't in the kitchen. That still left quite a few places for them to be. Maybe they were in one of the bathrooms?

Roman returned to the master bedroom, which had a bathroom attached to it. Upon opening the closet door he found not only spare towels, but his clothing crumpled into a ball. Some might be concerned as to why he had placed his clothes in a bathroom closet, but weirder things had happened in Cherry Blossom. He grabbed one of the towels and began drying off his now damp legs. He started to dry off his boxers when he heard Lillian's voice. "Roman I swear, get some pants on and get in here!" He chuckled and deeming himself dry enough, put on his extra pair of pants. He tossed the wet pair into the sink, making a mental note to come back for them tomorrow.

Grinning, he walked into the meeting room. "Worry not, I have pants on now," he informed the girls. He stood with his arms crossed over his chest. "So what's our plan of attack for tonight?" he asked seriously. Hunting vampires and protecting an entire town wasn't something to be taken lightly.

Willow regarded him with a sideways glance, and while their eye-contact shared was brief - it was direct, intense, and unwavering. Until her cellphone chirped and his silenced to a mere vibrate buzzed absently in the back pocket of his jeans, and she reached into her pocket to pull her's out to observe the message. "Pardon me handsome." Markus blinked, and the sharpness of his gaze faded momentarily. She would not, ever, call him that... With a flavor of renewed interest, he lifted his up to glance back to the other man; already finding the other's well, he guessed it was a handsome face if Will was interested, looking at him with a raised brow, offering a hand to him, and the rather unmistakable feeling of being 'sized up' - before Ghost, spoke, "Evening... I know you right?"

"It's been a while," Markus admitted lightly, stepping forward to take the other male's hand in a steady, firm grip. They'd maybe known each other as kids' he thought, probably high-school too, and of course "play-fights" arising briefly as everyone tested out their new skills (with a bunch of 'alpha male' types abound) when they first turned - if anything, the possible image of a big albino wolf coming to mind, with himself being an equal in size wolf but of a more melanistic color variant, going rather rough once upon a time, was the strongest or most recent thing he could remember him by. "E. Bales, most call me Markus." He supplied further, omitting most of his first name, because only his parents and Meredith still called him 'Edmund' anymore, all three rather stubbornly, so it wouldn't be fair to assume Ghost even knew it to begin with. Before releasing the hand-shake at the time of Willow's growl and shift into a more dominant posture as she began feverishly typing a reply on the screen.

Markus took the step back to his original position, to tilt his head to re-regard her, and more importantly the message(s) on the tiny but bright screen with a thoughtful frown sliding into place on his mouth. He looked away as Will finished and sent the response to Lisa's text, clearing her throat in mild frustration; which was his sentiments exactly, for an entirely different reason though, as tearing into a vampire would be far more enjoyable than standing there, listening to her jumping heartily back into conversation with Levi. He remained a silent presence, and watched out of the corner both of them idly, bored and not amused, but, waiting patiently...

It wasn't long until Willow seemed to be wrapping up the long-winded conversation, or at the very most had finally digested the look he'd given her earlier as she snagged his wrist to scowl at his watch (even though she'd just had her phone out moments before to check the time?); he turned toward her to regard her evenly as she muttered curses under her breath, before making her verbal goodbyes and lingering 'puppy-dog' eyes to Levi - while he merely glanced his way, tilting his head into similar nod to his earlier greeting, conveying farewell without words. "Alright Mutt... Let's go." Markus flashed a sudden, warning snarl towards her after her comment; it was silent, however, missing the growl and verbal evidence, with only his lips peeled for a brief moment before returning to a flat-line. As she slid her arm to link with his, he initiated the movement forward, guiding them both down the street - even with Willow's last minute call outs to Levi momentarily halting their movement, he was able to pull them along forward just as quickly again.

"Shut up." Came Willow's voice after they were out of ear shot from the new wolf they'd parted from, and the minor attention of a human teen stepping off to the side of the walkway so that the two of them could pass him; as they both seemed to slow their pace in tandem the further they wound through the city streets to the outskirts, to the woods, and eventually the pack house which would be their final destination. He felt his eyes on her, and glanced back rolling his own, while miming a lopsided 'X' across his chest with his free hand. Oh, sure he wouldn't spill his smart comments about Levi the newcomer twisting her tail, or really mainly ragging on her, yet, but he'd get her later for it.

After another small moment of silence, then Willow questioned, "So should we arrive fashionably late to make an entrance?... Or should we arrive on time so Lillian starts her whole spiel so that she chokes once she sees us?" Markus paused before answering to take in a deep, investigative breath through his nose. Picking out the scents of wolves that had passed ahead of them, it seemed the three leading members of the other pack where already there or headed in the right direction as far as he could tell. Humph... "They're already about to start, and you know Lillian and her 'planning sessions' as well as I..." He rumbled, nose wrinkling as much as in thought, as in distaste. "It might be more satisfying to interrupt in the middle of her beginning spiel, and unravel her for the rest of the night; then just coming fashionably late."

"Fair game." was Willows' response. "Well there are 2 packs here in Cherry Blossom... Lillian's and- Her words were cut off by the sound of her phone "Pardon me, Handsome." She said and Levi could only smirk. It was then then Levi took the time to finish assessing the other man, not in the territorial sort of way, but he was a wolf, it was just something he did, naturally, as all male wolves do. There was nothing threatening about him, though he looked rather strong. He did know him, years ago back when they were still pups. "It's been awhile/" the male wolf said and Levi smirked, still unable to place his name though. "E.Bales, most call me Marcus."
Image
Levi rose his chin in recognition. "Ah, yes...I remember now." He said. "It has been a while." He said, the memories flooding back. They were very young, and while the place was crawling with Predanaturals like them. Levi wasn't really one to make friends, but he had a few when he was young, before his mother pulled him from school. He was always the "Lone Wolf" type, keeping rather to himself then to join a pack, which it seemed Willow to want him to do. She didn't have to say it. He could smell that she was an alpha, the way she circled him, challenging him in her closeness, a weaker mind would have backed away, intimidated by it, though that wasn't her intention, but not Ghost, he stood his ground, letting her get as close as she wanted, accepting her challenge, which only seemed to turn her on. He could smell that too, and the feeling was mutual. He wasn't playing on joining any packs, but she was...tempting.
"Sorry that was rude of me... Alpha duties." She said, confirming what he already knew. "Wait you both know each other?" she said, recalling the conversation, gesturing to the two men. "How is it you could know him?... I've been in this town for over 100 years and never crossed paths with you before." She again, challenged him, taking a step toward him, watching his face, which remained equal parts amused and impassive. "I would have remembered you."
Image

"They don't call me Ghost for nothing..." He said, again, accepting her challenge, by not shrinking away. She turned, grabbing the man's wrist to see his watch. She didn't seem pleased with what she found, but it faded when she turned back to him, smiling wolfishly.
"Unfortunately lover-boy... I have plans to stir the pot. Although," She said, stepping even closer, toe to toe, she raised a hand, brushing back his dark curls from his eyes. She leaned into his ear. "I'd rather spend my time here... Trying to decode you." she said with a whisper and Levi only turned his head toward her, saying not a word, but allowing himself the opportunity to log her scent as it pulsed from her neck. It was rather tantalizing. Finally, she turned away, but added "Don't be a stranger Ghost."she told him, and he only smirked. He was certain she wouldn't let that happen.
She then hooked her arm around the other male, allowing him to guide her down the street, and Levi turned back to the shop, but he heard her shift and smiled to himself. "Hey!" she called and he turned only his head.
Image

You don't seem like a Ghost to me. A ghost is tame... You're more of a Phantom." She said with a smirk, and Levi chuckled. "But don't let anyone else call you that. That's my name... And I'm possessive of what's mine." she told him with a wink and Levi shook his head. "You have my word." was all he said before the two disappeared down the street.

Levi grabbed the doorknob and with a flick of his wrist popped the lock, Willow's scent lingering on him.

Perhaps returning to Cherry Blossom wasn't so bad after all.

"I'll go get your food ready," Elisabeth said as she disappeared into the kitchen. Shane frowned slightly as she realized that not even a cook was there to help her. Shame. No one should work alone, especially not in a town like this. It wasn't long before the girl returned with her food and a bag. Shane smiled thankfully as she placed the boxes in the bag and shifted to her feet.

"If you don't mind me asking, what did you mean earlier about not thinking these were wild animal attacks?" Shane froze mid movement. She was hoping the comment would simply brush off Elisabeth's shoulder. Either that or the rumors about herself would have graced her ears. Although the girl was nice, she had to tread carefully around the subject and be careful of what she did and didn't say. "Half this town thinks I am unfit to be Sheriff... The other half could be easily swayed to their side if the wrong words slip from my mouth." Shane smiled weakly towards the girl. "I won't give stock to rumors. The answer will reveal itself when I have proof... Until then, it's only wild animal attacks."

Shane smirked slightly as she searched her jean pockets for money. Pulling out a $20, she placed it in Elisabeth's hand before closing the girl's hand and patting it with her own. "Keep the change." No doubt that was more than double the worth of the food. But working alone, having to cook, wait and clean yourself can't be easy. "Take care of yourself. And get home before it gets too late... If you need someone to walk with you, just give me a ring."

Shane waved before stepping out of the diner. She casually walked the streets as she ate her burger, keeping her eyes peeled for anything out of the ordinary. After finishing the sandwich, and now only picking at the fries she noticed a pair of familiar faces. Shane slowly made her way towards Vivian and Gerald. "How's everything going?" She said as she joined the pair with a warm smile. "I'm glad to see you both are smart enough not to travel alone." She chuckled softly, before holding out the box of fries towards them. "Fry?"

Willow had a permanent smirk upon her lips as she walked with her arm locked with Markus'. She had always loved fresh meat but something about her Phantom gave her chills... Clearly all the good kind. Will had already made a mental note to cross his path again very soon so that she'd have a chance to decode the mysterious wolf. He intrigued her in more ways than words could explain. Attraction for wolves was on a whole other level, especially because they could often sense when the feeling was mutual... And Will knew it was. Not many would stand toe to toe with her and not be intimidated or falter. But Levi stood his ground, and that enticed her.

Her mind was clearly elsewhere and it took her way too long to register the words Markus spoke to her.
"They're already about to start, and you know Lillian and her 'planning sessions' as well as I..." Willow smirked as she watched his face turn in disgust. He didn't have to explain his thoughts on the matter, she was more then knowledgable towards how he felt. And more often then not the feeling was mutual. "It might be more satisfying to interrupt in the middle of her beginning spiel, and unravel her for the rest of the night; then just coming fashionably late." She pursed her lips, reaching for her phone in the back pocket of her tight jeans to check the time. "As much as I love that devious mind of yours, I believe we may have no choice but to arrive fashionably late."

In a small town like Cherry Blossom, it took no time at all for them to reach the location of the meeting. Willow turned her head towards Markus, her eyes glistening in excitement. "Oh how I enjoy making an entrance." With that, Will released Markus' arm and walked straight for the entrance strutting almost as if to show off her sex appeal and dominance. She did not hesitate to kick open the door and waltz right into the room. Willow made her way right up to an empty seat beside a male wolf that she recalled being called Roman. Her devious grin never left her lips as she took a seat. "Hello handsome." She whispered towards the male beside her, shooting him a quick wink.

Willow leaned back in the seat, crossing her long slender legs while stretching her arm across the back of Roman's chair. She made sure she was comfortable as her gaze remained locked on Lillian's as she caught the end of her little introduction.
"... Just enough for each group to be able to fight one or two vamps. Also if one group get's ambushed the other will have wolves who aren't injured." Will couldn't help but laugh while shaking her head slightly. "Sacrifice the few to save the many, eh Lill?" She cocked her head to the side while pursing her lips. "Since when has it been a good idea to split up?... Haven't you seen any horror film... Ever?"

Willow looked over to Roman, her hand that rested upon the back of his chair, reaching up to twirl a lock of his hair. "By all means... Don't listen to me. After all, what could I possibly know?" She smiled towards her current male company before drifting her gaze over to Lillian. "All I know is... When I plan to do more than scouting, I would never risk my pack by splitting them up. A unit is more powerful than a pair." Willow's grin grew as she leaned forward, resting her free elbow upon her knee, her chin in the palm, while her other hand still grasped Roman's chair. "You better than anyone should know the effectiveness of a group with a strong will, Lillian... If not, you'd be the only Alpha."

{ Location: Town, Woods, Pack House (1) || Interacting With: Willow, Roman, Serena, Lillian || Mentioned: Lisa, Levi }

Willow’s mind was clearly still back with her ‘Phantom’, Markus suspected, as it was taking her an extraordinary time for her to be digesting his response. Before he could make a sharp quip, and break the half-hearted promise the lopsided ‘x’ his mime had suggested earlier; his cellphone buzzed sullenly. Taking the distractive incentive, he pulled out his phone first to observe Lisa’s newest message with a narrow, but thoughtful gaze.

"Vampire leaving party to find victim elsewhere."

"Acknowledged."

Markus texted in return, short and simple. He wasn’t one to waste words in the first place, and secondly while it was a small, satisfactory win that the mere presence of a werewolf (or wolves) at the party had chased the bloodsucker off – he had nothing else to tell her. It was an annoying predicament to just ‘let one go’, but without proper back-up, and Markus remembered she’d never had to encounter a vampire on her own, Lisa did not need to be shoved into anything overtly dangerous right away.

He looked down as he shoved his phone back into his pocket, and met Willow’s gaze, as a smirk played across her lips when she pursed them checking the time on her phone this time, before she finally responded, “As much as I love that devious mind of yours, I believe we may have no choice but to arrive fashionably late.” Markus snorted roughly, as a mild form of ‘I told you so’ – playing on the pointed look he’d delivered to her earlier that evening. Her ‘Phantom’ had taken some (if not most) of the time up

It did not take them long to reach the location of the meeting at the old (complete) pack’s house, and Willow turned to him with excitement, before speaking “Oh how I enjoy making an entrance.” “Ladies first,” Markus idly commented, as if she wasn’t going to take the lead anyway. She released his arm, and strutted forward towards the entrance – her sex appeal and dominance obvious, but doing little for him to be frank. He followed closely on her heels, but had shortened his strides as to not step on her.

Markus shut the kicked open door with the back of a heel in an idle movement, the wood banging shut with half as much as force Willow had originally exerted on it in opening it, but the sudden, explosive entrance had already been achieved. He appeared into the room, a second behind his Alpha, and slipped sideways to park himself, leaning against the wall directly behind both, Willow, where she’d sat down to ‘own’ the place, and his old friend, but still good surprisingly with the two pack’s misgivings between one another, Roman. There was other chairs available, but they were on the other side of the table near Lillian and Serena; and while he could have been hardly bothered taking a seat next to them, and watch their skins crawl in closer detail – as a dutiful wing-man, the wall was the better position to observe everyone and their body languages with equal intensity.

Lillian had wrapped up her little introduction spiel, and Willow’s silvery laugh rang out briefly, before she chimed into their conversation with ease – “Sacrifice the few to save the many, eh Lill? Since when has it been a good idea to split up?... Haven't you seen any horror film... Ever?” It seemed to immediately work on Roman’s metaphorical hackles, as he commented back shortly, “Well, we could always sacrifice you and your pet. I hear vampires like the taste of werewolf blood.”

Markus attentive eyes snapped towards the back of the other male’s head, his otherwise perpetually serious expression that often leads one to believe he either expects that you’re an idiot or is quite convinced that you already are, had a twisted smirk – that was more annoyed in the downturn of his lips, than his normal ‘resting face’ of exasperation with the world and it’s occupants. There was quite a far difference from being one of Willow’s ‘pets on a leash' or one of her 'pursuits’, than being her Beta, currently dutiful wing-man, and the wanting to kill each other on a daily basis to contend with as well; very different indeed, he'd have Roman know, but he remained silent.

His eyes slid away from the other male as quickly as he’d locked on originally, to re-observe Lillian (mostly) and Serena too, as Willow continued, “By all means
Don’t listen to me. After all, what could I possibly know?” Smiling and twirling a lock of his hair, she elicited a snarl from Roman. “All I know is
When I plan to do more than scouting, I would never risk my pack by splitting them up. A unit is more powerful than a pair
You better than anyone should know the effectiveness of a group with a strong will, Lillian. If not, you’d be the only Alpha.”

Markus side-eyed his attention, ignoring the momentary inner surge of protectiveness, as Rome stood swiftly, growling out a statement in response to Willow’s obviously fur-ruffling chatter as he looked down at the still-seated Alpha, “You should take your own advice then.” Will could handle herself in the verbal battlefield, easily, he was well aware and hardly worried about that per say; even with the physical odds stacked more in favor of three over the two, they were only here to ‘mess with them’ and not in to stay for a ‘real’ fur-removing fight (not that he’d ever wished such an event to occur, unless absolutely necessary - he could fight, extremely well, but he wasn't eager for one). And Roman, could handle himself as well verbally with his sharp mouth and open hostility; and while he often wondered why he'd still chosen Lillian's pack with the issues of Serena being chosen as her Beta instead, and just so happened still keep their childhood friendship alive despite their pack differences - both of them really didn't need to lose fur and friendship over pack differences tonight, he suspected, idly.

His mouth twisted into half an idle but warning snarl, and had been combined with an oddly amused smile; as perhaps the most threatening chuckle rumbled up, very much like a growl, from deep within his chest. “Must simple observations and idle chit-chat really delve into the threat of violence?” Markus noted, as his normal expression fell make into place when the chuckle faded away. Not quite signaling Roman out specifically on the threat his last statement had veiled (and seemingly attempting to ignore him, much like the other was attempting to do as well), but intended it for the other Alpha (or Beta, he supposed) that he had kept most of his attention on
It was a delicate game, obviously.

The hope for the rest of the evening to remain at a relative standstill, compared to how bombarding the day had been, had been misplaced, Nathaniel reflected. Maybe it was just too much of his good natured, new kid in town rubbing off on others; or merely a small town driven curiosity and eagerness at fault - who could honestly say? But after humoring the elderly hotel owner, smoking a single cigarette (while the other man had already consumed a handful, at least; by the smell of him) curled between his index and middle finger, leaning against the railing of the second floor of the hotel of his temporary ‘home’; he could only guess that in the end, he’d made another successful run at being ‘human’, yet again.

A surprise, but welcoming, distraction came from the night breeze gently whisking by his nose, causing a thoughtful frown to ease unto his maw as he pulled his cigarette away to catch a better waft of downwind heading his way. Nathaniel had eventually expected a visit from one of the coven members or their leader in the following night or so, but so soon after a brief visual encounter with someone he suspected to be another vampire and the fact that it had been more than enough that his scent would’ve still been around but an obvious trail would’ve dissipated (not that the oil and gas that had been underneath him would have helped much, or the current smoking). Huh, must be a hell of a scouter then, he figured.

“What is it?” The foreman grunted as he became aware, finally, to catch on that the seemingly younger man had ignored the steady winding conversation of some small town rumors, or myths, or something. It was endearing to watch as a new wariness set into the elder’s shoulders as he narrowed his eyes against the inky black of the night with muted streetlamps around, to fruitlessly see what he couldn’t and what had drawn the young doctor’s attention instead; he would’ve been just as dead if someone of the supernatural variety had been in the mood - pity, pity.

“Someone I was expecting.” Nathaniel replied evenly. It wasn’t technically a lie? “Oh,” The man mused, looking back with an odd expression on his face, that told the tale of thoughts going on in his head well enough – who on earth would you be expected at that time of night? Let him think what he wanted. “I’ll leave you too it then.” Nodding farewell and thanks for the cigarettes and ‘fine’ talk, the human was on his way back around the corner – heading for the elevator on the far side, as arthritis was probably playing up against him at his age. Leaving the youthful vampire alone thankfully and in silence once again.

Nathaniel reached up to absently rub at the old scars littered across his throat-line, hidden underneath the high necked blue sweater, while he patiently waited. It did not take long for the scent to develop stronger, and his own to likewise become more solid and apparent that he had not left this spot at the motel recently. But he remained in place until the distant but familiar flash of wavy brown hair caught his attention, probably being the girl from the café that was not too far away - even if this was called the edge of town (on this side at least; city growth had primarily headed the other direction(s) more apparently).

If he could see what he suspected to be her, and smell her; she could do the same likewise, and likely in greater detail in the sight aspect with the dusk-to-dawn spotlights glaring down above him and in front of his hotel room. It was then he turned, beeping the flimsy paper card to emit entry, Nathaniel disappeared into his room – but left the door open, and waiting. It would be best to have a talk indoors he figured in a town with werewolf packs running amok, it was only polite to offer.

(If Elisabeth Decides to Interact, Entering the Hotel Room)

All the lights had been flicked on, and emitted a warm, soft glow - not as quite as nice as sunlight, so long ago, but it did well enough and better than talking to someone in the dark (how weird). "Good Evening...?" Nathaniel began lightly, inquisitively cautious but oozing genuine politeness. It'd been a certain stretch of time since he'd actually asked to settle with a coven, and not for his 'revenant' duties they sometimes sought him about for, but he knew or could suspect what she would be asking or wanting to know before going to their Coven Leader with the information gained - however, it was more proper to wait for questions to be asked first, before you 'blabbered' without given reason. He'd sat himself down in one of the two office chairs they'd somehow managed to squeeze into the room with a full or queen bed, and small offset that held the bathroom, closest, and generic coffee maker, leaving the other open, available, and at a fair enough distance from him if she even felt at ease enough in the presence of a loner and wanted to even sit at all.

"Roman! Sit down,” Lillian finally snapped, and for a moment Markus felt her gaze focus sharply on both Willow and Roman (and by extension himself, further back) – he returned the look in unblinking challenge, but noted out of the corner of his eyes, his friend rolling his eyes but obliging his Alpha’s command to sit back down in his chair, but wisely scooting further away from Willow’s reach.

"I suggest you and your so-called Alpha leave our territory,” A warning growl rumbled deep within Markus’ chest at Lillian’s comment, though no snarl graced his frowned lips yet. An Alpha of Alpha-bloodlines, while Willow was hardly perfect (except in being a pain in the ass, he could – and would willingly – attest to that), was still far better than an inferior runt, that had to fight for any position in the pack – let alone the elders that had gone to her pack, choosing her for the Alpha position out of all those eligible, seemed rather silly, if not sad. Thank you very much.

Lillian continued, in a growl echoing his own, turning her full attention to Willow – telling them to leave (as if they had planned on staying anyway?). Willow in response had her remarks in turn sharp, well organized, and subtly pointed in the way she dished them out as well. Certainty the plan was working brilliantly to undermine Lillian in front of her own pack’s hierarchy, ruffling feathers and raising hackles galore; but the advice Will was giving out was genuine, whether or not the younger female took note of it and saved wolf lives – fei.

It wasn’t long before the conversation winded to an abrupt halt, as Willow made her exit around Markus into the entry hall and towards the door, and only then did he move off the wall, with his watchful eyes flick away from Lillian and Serena, and dutifully followed. Taking good care to make sure the door slammed shut tight, and loud, on his way out.

After some stretch of silence, Willow broke it first as she slowed her commanding pace and due back beside him, "Who would have thought the day would come where they'd be the one throwing out the threats?” Markus snorted in mild laughter at her chuckled comments and the ‘innocent’ shoulder shrugging, and responded in drawling exaggeration in turn, “Uh-huh, and you’re sure it isn’t your sparkling reputation with the male population being a little topsy-turvy?” He finished, rolling his eyes. She’d certainly turned over a new leaf, between her encounter with her ‘Phantom’ to Roman.

“Ok well threatening first... I simply gave advice and then all hell broke loose." Markus looked thoughtful at that, and his next words, answers and responses, were honest without joking, as he continued, “We’re getting somewhere, I suppose. Or they’re getting smart enough to buff threats back at simple feather ruffling?” He paused, snorting. Right. We’re they getting smarter, or was it just Willow’s topsy-turvy sparkling reputation with the boy’s? Huh? “Eventually, Lillian will crack under the pressure and make a mistake – wolves may be unfortunately lost, or we may gain a few to our ranks once they see the reason too
Either way, we still crashed the party fashionably late, and have ruined the rest of the night (if not frazzling their Alpha). Not awful time spent
”

Even though the pack house was out located in the woods, away from the town to keep away from humans readily finding it, it didn’t take long to get back to town either (when you knew the right path to take). But on the streets of Cherry Blossom, far too close to the house party – still going strong, with its obscenely loud music – Markus froze, reaching out his hand to grasp Willow’s elbow in a gentle but solid grip, more as an attention-grabber than of protectiveness, as he rolled his forward momentum to a stop. The already disgustingly fresh scent of a bloodsucker passing by was obvious enough, but more alarmingly one of their own pack – Lisa’s scent – was intertwined within a brief encounter.

Dammit Lisa. He remembered specifically not telling her anything about going after the vampire, even if it was an annoying predicament to just ‘let one go’. She had no proper back-up, hadn’t had to ever encounter one on her own, and hell bell’s it was dangerous period. Markus teeth clicked in annoyance, as he glanced down to Willow and released his grip (assuming she’d had a chance for herself, to recognize the scents and situation at hand) - his eyes frustratedly worried, even though well hidden by his general exasperation with the world.

“We’ll need to go find her, and make sure she didn’t get injured.” Markus stated, reasonably. After that? It was up to Will, but he wouldn’t mind some much needed hunting to be fitted in before the night grew late – especially if the bloodsucker had managed to hurt Lisa, even if she had been being an idiot.

“Good evening.” Came the female’s response, as she took the seat in the other office chair, and Nathaniel took the time to observe her further in like-minded interest while she gathered her own thoughts and the questions to ask him. She wasn’t much older than him physically he could readily tell, between the ages of 18-20 he could only assume. Her immortal age, however, was much harder to gauge – especially when every young monster eventually got to the point of having old souls reflected in their eyes, period. Otherwise she seemed to be a calm, cool-headed, and collected individual, quite unlike the stories he’d heard thus far on the road about her coven leader

“My name is Elisabeth. I’m part of Arthur’s coven as I’m sure you have surmised
May I ask what has brought you to Cherry Blossom?”

Nathaniel blinked. The soft smile had already been disarming in itself, even if it was only meant as a kind if curious gesture he noted. Like that quote that could explain it so well, oh – Most species bare their teeth as a threat, a display of aggression, of leadership. It is a reminder that these clenched jaws can and will open your yielding throat. I want you to remember this the next time I smile. Or something of that sort? Either way, super naturals weren’t much different in that regards, even a flat-toothed grin could hold another meaning (not that that he figured this meeting would go sour in such a way, but cautious thoughts always got the better of him in new locations and on different turf – you couldn’t quite blame him either about it).

But now, the lack of small talk and jumping straight to the point without beating about the bush, was another amusing turn of hand. Well, he could have even called it a blessing, after far too many other times joining in covens and their lengthy processes. Huh, how refreshing.

Nathaniel smiled gently, and with the echo of laughter on his breath, he mused in response, “If I’m allowed to be so frank, it is a pleasure, Elisabeth, and my name is Searus, Nathaniel.” He paused briefly then, looking thoughtful momentarily for a response to her next statement. It didn’t take long to create a short answer, for a long story of having seen action against werewolves and witches at one point or another in his lifetime, but having probably killed more of his own kind that had broken the codes than he’d ever cared to admit. “I’m here in Cherry Blossom looking to join Arthur’s coven. One that I hope won’t be needing or looking to use my Revenant abilities anytime soon.” It was the honest, if ugly truth. Nathaniel had grown tired of hurting, and perhaps a coven with one so ‘wild’ as Arthur leading them would hide him from having other covens come asking for him to finish up their dirty work for a time. He could hope anyway?

Nathaniel continued, smile still intact though the brief surge of amusement had faded, “I already have acquired a job as a Junior Medical Staff at the small Hospital here in Cherry Blossom, and these accommodations have already been paid out for this week. Thus, as the codes permit, I will not poach and will leave if that is ultimately Arthur’s or his seconds’ decision(s).” They were simple statements, that were by in large sweet, to the point, and naked without the small talk ‘hiding’ them per say; but they were better said than not, he figured, as he was expanding slightly without being asked from her original, partially blunt-ended question. “Is there anything else you’d want to know?”

Levi finally flipped the open sign on from within the shop. Winters Auto Body Shop was back in business. Too bad he couldn't fell good about it. Four people were murdered, brutally attacked, made to look almost like both Vampire and Wolf.
That was astoundingly unlikely but he didn't know the goings on in the Packs. He'd yet to join one, despite how Willow kept coming around, with her tantalizing smirk, intoxicating scent. How one woman could be both obvious in her intentions and subtle was beyond him.
Image
He walked out from behind the counter, navigating the shelves of car parts that he'd had overnight-ed for the past two days, in an effort to get things up and running and ignoring the stirring in the air, the calm before the shit storm that was brewing between the packs and the vamps.
Inwardly, Levi knew sooner or later, he'd have to join up. The lone wolf thing worked fine but there seemed to be a war brewing, and he'd have to choose a side.

Taking a breath, he stepped outside, and backed out in to the street to look up at the glowing blue neon sign that alerting Cherry Blossom that they wouldn't have to go out of town to get their cars and bikes fixed and they didn't have to play big city money either.

He rubbed the back of his neck, and sighed. He wanted to be glad for it, feel proud, but he couldn't shake the feeling. He could pretend all he liked, but his life was about to turn all the way upside down and back again.

It was just then that his mother's scent wafted his direction. He turned to see her sneaking up behind him. " Dammit, Ghost." She said, stomping with a foot, but smiling. She wrapped her arm around his and turned to see the shop. "Look at that!" She squeal. " Oh I haven't seen that light on since you were a little pup." She cooed, giving his arm a squeeze. Levi looked down at her and smiled but she could see his mind was elsewhere. "What is it?" She asked frowning a bit. " I can't say, Pack stuff." He said and she arched an eyebrow. He knew she didn't like it, she was human, and he couldn't tell her anything about the goings on in Pack news. Levi was the product of a one nighter, originally. They stayed together for a time, long before Levi couldn't remember, He barely remembered his face and that was from the one photo she had of him. Apparently Levi got his camera shyness from his father. Levi hated taking pictures, a good percentage of his childhood was recorded with him looking like his namesake. A ghost. It was probably the real reason for his nickname but his mother never said.
"You joined a Pack?" She asked and Levi shook his head. " No, I haven't, but Mom, I can't-"
"I know, but you a million miles away, Is it about the murders?" She asked, lowering her voice at the end of the sentence. Levi rolled his eyes. "Mom...."
"Well, Look dammit, you're my son, and I don't give a damn what else you are."
Levi took a breath, his eyes darting around, hoping now on heard his mother going off into her little tizzies.

Levi turned, gently taking her shoulders. " Mom, I get it, really, I'm just trying to figure out some stuff, it's not about that other stuff, okay, relax, and please for the love of God, keep your voice down." He said in a single breath and while she looked dubious, she relaxed. "Fine..." She said relenting, noticing the way his eyes were darting around, probably realizing the time of night.

"I'm fine, Mom, Honestly, just alot on my mind...Hey wait, why are you over this way anyway." He asked, just now realizing it. " I was going on break and I saw the lights come on." She said and Levi frowned. "I told you that's dangerous, You have to take your break inside or with a friend." He told her and she gave him a look like she was about to slap his teeth down his throat. Human or not, Mothers can be scary.
"I taught you that." She said and Levi couldn't resist the urge to throw that in her face. " Then follow your own advice." He said and she jabbed him in the side. " Ah, Damn," He said but gave her a wide smile, with painted on her face too. "You're back now, Ghost, I don't have to worry about a thing."
Image
"Yes, but Now I do." He said, and hugged his mother around her shoulders with an arm. "C'mon, Let's look inside." He said and he lead her in to look around. After a little while, she had to go back to work and he walked her there. She was a waitress at the small diner where most everyone hung out, and he knew most of the older patrons and the a few of the older workers. The Cook was a large man with a thick Jamaican accent. "Levi, Boy, How ya been, mon" He called from the back as Levi entered. "Hey, Mr. Creel, I've been good,"
"Looking afta mama, Like a good lad." He said and Levi smirked while his mother beamed. She gave his cheek a pat, and went to work while Levi took a seat at the bar. "What's good, Mr. Creel."
"Whateva I make." He said with a hearty laugh that made Levi chuckled. It was something he'd remembered from his childhood. "Well, I'll take whatever you got." He said, and despite the smell of frying onions, simmering steaks and boiling vegetables, Levi caught an unmistakable scent, and set his blood a boil. He would turned to her, He liked the little game they played. He just wished it wasn't while his mother was around. That thought was like a rush of cold water. Whether or not, she'd come in, or was already in, He didn't know, but he looked forward to finding out.

Vivian was getting worried, she keeps having this feeling that something big and bad is going to happen soon but she can't seem to find out what it is. She's used every future telling spell she'd found in her mothers spell book but each time it's just something that doesn't matter. Unfortunately she doesn't know how to read cards but one of the other witches in the coven do so she's working on that while the rest of the coven has been working on strengthening their powers. It's been going well, everyone is getting stronger which will help them when and if they ever have to fave the vampires in town.

The card reader found nothing, she thinks something is hiding the answer from them but why? This makes Vivian think the coven will have to reveal themselves to the wolves before they are ready. If the wolves know then it won't take long for the vampires to know. It will put the coven's life in danger.

Arthur had given both Elizabeth the job of finding these phantom witches that he says are in town. Julia doesn't trust Elizabeth to find them seeing that she has a job. Well, Julia does too but she doesn't exactly have to be there. She took it upon herself to 'help' find them. Arthur never said whether he wanted the witches brought to him dead or alive but if they were alive they would cause more problems so dead it was.

Being cooped up during the day was horrible especially for someone like Julia. She didn't like being held prisoner by something that was billions of miles away, seemed ridiculous. Thankfully it was nearly sunset, it was almost time for freedom. Though she could probably go out now, Julia liked to be safer and wait until the sun was totally gone out of the sky.

The hunt went horribly, members of her pack were hurt just like Willow had said. It frustrated her that Willow always seemed to be right no matter what she did. This honestly made her consider taking up Willows offer to rejoin the packs but that would only be Lily giving up her position as Alpha and there was no way Lilly would do that without a fight. Even if she did follow through with it Willow would constantly remind her of how bad of an Alpha she was.

On top of all of this there was a new wolf in town which Lilly found out Willow had visited. Willow was most likely trying to get him to join her pack, Lilly was going to make it harder for her to do so. Lilly needed to find him and have a chat with the wolf. She followed his sent, once she was in the streets. This was a new sent, so she didn't know this wolf. The scent lead her to the old Auto shop, the light was on. Strange, he must be the new owner. She thought and followed the scent to the diner. There he was, she could only see the back of his head. She went inside and sat right next to him at the bar, Coffee, black. She ordered then stayed quiet for a few seconds before turning to him.

Ever since the hunt two days ago Serena had been locked up in her house with all the curtains closed, surviving off what food she had in her house. Honestly, she should have told Lily about the letter the first moment she saw it but the danger that the letter could bring, not only to her best friend but the whole pack, had stopped her. She recognized the handwriting of course, she had a tattoo not even Lillian knew about in the same handwriting. The last two days had been filled with dread and anxiety as she tried to figure out what to do. Surprisingly she could smell him on the letter, a fact that made her shudder every time she caught a the scent, which was why it sat across the table from her while she struggled to control the emotions running through her mind.

She had to leave. It was something that had occurred to her yesterday but only now did she really face the facts and realize it was true. She couldn't drag anyone she loved into these types of problems, not knowing how badly it could screw someone up mentally. Getting up Serena grabbed the only suitcase she owned as well as a duffel bag and went to her room, tossing clothes into each as quickly but neatly as she could. The last two days she had managed to keep Lillian's suspicions to a minimum by texting her a 'Good Morning' or 'Have a great night, See you tomorrow' but since most of the injuries from their previous hunt were healed Lillian would be expecting Serena to join them on the hunt.

In the middle of packing her stuff Serena stopped, holding two pictures in her hands, the ones she kept on her nightstand. One, a picture from not too long ago, was of Serena and Lillian both dressed up for a night out and laughing. While they had responsibilities now not long ago the pack had been one group and there had been plenty of time for Serena and Lillian to go out for a few drinks once a week of drive to the nearby city to go clubbing. Looking at the other Serena almost flinched. The picture was at least a few years old due to Levi's presence in the photo. Unsurprisingly Serena knew that she looked happier in that picture. While Levi had never thought of Serena in a romantic way like she had him she had never expected him to leave, especially without saying goodbye. Looking back at the other photo she frowned. 'I'll be putting Lily through the same thing, only I'm her best friend. I'll never be able to take it back...'

Shaking her head Serena placed both pictures in her suitcase before moving on to finish packing. 'I know I can't say goodbye to her... she'd never let me leave.' A bemused smile crossed Serena's face as she thought of the fit Lillian would pitch. 'But... I can say goodbye to him.' her smile turned sad at the irony as she carried her, now packed, bags out to her garage. She had been so mad when he had left and now she was technically doing the same thing. Throwing her bags in the back seat Serena opened the trunk and lifted her bike up, placing the machine gently in the cargo space. Though paying for a trunk big enough to hold the hog had cost her an extra ten grand initially she was suddenly glad she had done so. Going back into the house Serena grabbed a notebook and a piece of paper, writing out a note to Lily, before locking up her house. Taping the folded up note to the front door Serena hopped in her jeep and drove down to the old auto shop, parking in the back and going inside using the spare key that Levi had long ago showed her the hiding place of. With the lights still on Serena was sure he'd be back soon so she walked around, looking at the tools and other things before taking a seat on a bench up against the back wall.
