Introduction
There are two groups of best friends. They have been rival groups since around the third grade. One group has always been fairly popular. Whether it was because they were the fastest runner, they told the funniest jokes, or their mother baked the best cookies. The point is that these children had always been considered cool and popular since they were younger. While the other group of children were the loners, and outcasts. They were the ones that the others would not hesitate to laugh at, or bully. Sometimes it was for stupid reasons. Such as, that girl had a weird accent, or that kid ate his boogers.
Once they had been labeled, there was no changing their image. Naturally, the two groups of children grew up as rivals. Now it is their summer vacation right before their senior year of high school. What if some of them didn't want to be rivals anymore?
Two of them started dating secretly a few months back. A girl from the outcast group, and a boy from the popular group. None of their friends know yet, but the two of them have decided to finally reveal their secret this summer to their friends. How will their groups take the news?
Please reserve the spot you want before making a character. Note the people in these groups are best friends, and have been since at least the third grade.
Some characters might be carried over from the previous Rp.
I'm willing to add one or two girl characters if they're accompanied by a male character.

The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 6 authors
Letting out a loud and long string of curses Raevyn ripped her comforter off of her and tossed the mass of black fabric away from her as she pulled herself up and slid out of bed, her mood souring more as her bare feet hit the cold floor. Grabbing her phone from where it landed she turned it on and looked to see who had texted her. Seeing her mother's contact pop up she smirked a little, unable to not be amused. Her friends had learned years ago that being the one to wake her was a bad idea and ever since had been having her mother do it as to escape the blame. Opening the text she groans again, seeing she was supposed to meet her friends in 5 minutes at the local diner for lunch. She quickly texted Tobias, making sure not to sound angry in the message. ~Hey, I'm going be late. Any idea who started my wake up call this time?~
After she sent the message she smiled, knowing they would know exactly how pissed she was just because of how nice the text was worded. As she walked towards the bathroom she shook her head, amused. She knew she probably wasn't going get an answer and that her friends were never going to let her hear the end of it for being late, as usual. Undressing quickly she jumped into the shower, leaving the water freezing cold. Ten minutes later Raevyn had gotten out of the shower, gotten dressed, and was now headed down the stairs. For a moment she considered texting one of her friends again but knew that with her driving she would be at the diner in five minutes and decided it wasn't worth the effort.
Tobias drove up to the diner fifteen minutes before 1P.M. he wasn't in such a hurry, most of the crew pulled into the parking lot right after him anyway. The group walked into the diner, and situated themselves at one of the bigger booths. Seeing as Raevyn wasn't present he decided to speak up, "Anyone else willing to wake up Ray? I did it last time." The group shuffled a bit, waking up Ray wasn't a thing someone volunteered to do. Toby sighed, "Okay, I'll do it, again. But I'm tired of texting her mum, it's awkward." he admits. As Toby shoots a text to Raevyn's mother, Tanner sits beside him chuckling. "Soon you and Ray's mum will be pretty tight. New besties maybe." he says and Toby gently punches him in his arm. "Watch what you're saying, people will go spreading rumors that I'm banging my friends' mums." Toby says, and that makes Tanner crack up.
Toby thought about texting Ray's mum again, because Ray obviously hasn't texted any of them with a reply so she must still be sleeping or something. But as soon as he was about to put his phone back in his pocket, it vibrates and a message from just the person he wanted to hear from, Ray.
Toby can practically feel the radiating anger hidden under the nice words, "Oh I've done it again, she's pissed. She said she'll be late, so lets order up." he says. He then texts Ray back
Tanner stretches from sitting on one position too long, and beaming with happiness, "For a second I thought we'd have to wait. Glad we don't have to, I'm starving." he states looking over at Nicole and grins in her direction. "If Raevyn asks who woke her up, we all don't know. I'm not taking the blame for it, she probably suspects me anyway." Tobias says to his friends over the diner menu, behind which he discreetly sends out a text to his girl.
Nicole arrived at the local diner at 12:50 p.m. on the dot in the car that she and her brother shared. When she had left the house for her little meet-up with her friends Ethan was still tucked away upstairs under his covers. He wouldn't be needing the car. She and her friends had agreed to gather at the diner promptly at 1 p.m. for brunch. As she stepped out of her car she noticed that Toby's jeep along with some of her other friends cars were parked in the lot. All except Raevyn's which didn't surprise her at all. The gang was just being seated at one of the large booths when she arrived. "Morning peoples!" Her voice was gleeful as she slid into the booth. "Anyone else willing to wake up Ray? I did it last time." Nicole wasn't about to volunteer for that one as she picked up one of menus that sat on the table in front of them and began to skim through the selections.
Toby sighed,"Okay, I'll do it, again. But I'm tired of texting her mum, it's awkward." he admitted to which Nicole peeked at him from over the menu that hide the smirk on her face. "Soon you and Ray's mum will be pretty tight. New besties maybe." Nicole couldn't help but laugh at Tanner's words as Tobias gave him a lighthearted punch in the arm for it. "Watch what you're saying, people will go spreading rumors that I'm banging my friends' mums." A mental image of Toby and Ray's mom getting hot and heavy immediately popped into Nicole's head that sent shivers down her spine as Tanner sat laughing. "That's a mental image I could have really done without." Nicole said sitting her menu down in front of her.
"Oh I've done it again, she's pissed. She said she'll be late, so lets order up." Nicole shrugged, "This is Ray you're talking about here. Are you really surprised?" Nicole had already made up her mind as to what it was she was going to order. So she just sat and waited for the waitress to come along as her friends pondered on what it was they wanted. "For a second I thought we'd have to wait. Glad we don't have to, I'm starving." he says looking at her with a grin on his face that Nicole grinned back at. "If Raevyn asks who woke her up, we all don't know. I'm not taking the blame for it, she probably suspects me anyway." Tobias spoke talking to everyone at the table as he looked over the menu. "Find with me." Nicole said just as the waitress came to the booth with a pen and pad in hand ready to take everyones order.
Seeing as everyone else was still contemplating on what it was they wanted Nicole went ahead and ordered first. "Let me get the barque bacon burger with cheese fries and a frozen iced raspberry smoothie." Nicole may have been a size four girl but she could eat like a linebacker when she was feeling really ravenous. When it came to food as far as Nicole was concerned the only thing better than making it herself was eating it from somewhere else. At least then she didn't have to clean anything up afterwards."So, do you guys think Ray would love me or hate me if I got her an alarm clock for her b-day coming up?" Nicole figured that Raevyn would hate it for it and more than likely not even use it but at least it would send a message that the girl needed to get her punctuality in check.
Janes face created a pained expression as she finished reading the message, questioning how she had even gotten into all of this, and put her phone back down to finish her shower. She enjoyed the smell of her blueberry wash that she had had a difficulty finding and when she did she had ended up cleaning them out, so she had enough for decade or so. Showers were probably the best thing of the world and she enjoyed everyone she took no matter what she was thinking while standing under the spray, it was like escaping to a small world of her own. Jane wrestled with whether if the long meal by herself with her listening to Tobias' friends "whisper" at another table would be worth the small moment they would get to themselves. But she did owe him, after having to have canceled their last few dates for work and it had been her fault since she had willingly picked up the shifts. She picked up the phone, already pulling out whatever reached her hand first from the closet, and sent Tobias a message. Then a group message out to her friends, it had been a bit since they had all gotten together and it wouldnt look as bad if she wasnt there alone.
-Hey everyone, if your not busy how about we all meet up at the diner? On me of course-
Outfit
Car
Anna spent the whole morning shopping, she couldn't resist a sale. As she checked out she casually looked at her phone and realized it was almost time to meet the group at the diner. She payed for her clothes "Thank you" She said to the cashier before rushing out the door. She put the bags in the back seat and drove to the diner. She pulled out her phone and text Ray thinking she was already at the diner-Hey on my way to the diner, just got done sweeping out a SALE!- She finally arrived at the diner and parked next to Nichole's car. She stepped out the car and fixed her shirt and put on her jacket before going inside.
She spotted the group at a large booth but didn't see Ray. "Did I wake Ray up? I just text her. Oh man she's going to be pissed." She said as she sat down next to Tanner and sighed. She picked up the menu and skimmed it "Ohh Smoked Salmon Caesar Salad.." She muttered to herself as she smiled and put down the menu just as the waitress came over, she waited for Nichole to order and she ordered the salad. "Jesus, Nichole for a girl you sure do eat a lot." She said chuckling.
Alice was awakened to a light knocking on her door. Her eyes immediately looked to her clock and saw that whoever was at her door obviously didn't know that the girl had, least a couple of hours left to sleep. The sun was out which meant that she should be asleep. Alice was a night owl. The canvas she worked on the previous night was proof. All of her art works took place during the night if there was a setting.
"Charlotte," Her mother called from behind the door. "I'm coming in." Astrid, Alice's mother walked in the room and her eyes immediately fell upon the artwork. Alice turned over in her bed and pulled the covers over her head.
"Mom, if you keep calling by that name, how will I ever get used to the one I have now? My name changed when you married David."
"Oh, excuse me. I forgot. I'm still adjusting to it--your name I mean. So I'm guessing you worked on this piece all night?"
"Yup."
"And I'm also guessing you're too tired to have my breakfast I made." Alice pulled the covers down off of her face to see her mom already looking right at her as if expecting the reaction.
"With the eggs, bacon, and pancakes to get me fat?" Her mother smiled.
"Just the way you love them. It'll be finished in about five minutes." Alice's mother stood and exited the room to get back to tending the food leaving Alice stuck between a rock and a hard place. Sleep or her mothers cooking? It was rare to receive any kind of food from her since Astrid was so busy with work. That fact alone made up Alice's mind.
As she entered the kitchen the area seemed quite busy. The television running, the food being made, and the conversation between Astrid and Alice's step-dad, David.
"Dear lord, Astrid, you didn't tell me you were practicing Necromancy and woke the dead." David said and Alice gave him a half asleep grin through her squinted eyes as they adjusted to the brightness of the room. Alice didn't think of David as a father but more as an older brother. When he and her mother first started dating they always got into fights. And they were the unfriendly kind of fights. But as time went on she realized that David truly loved her mother and she respected that. And he eventually, warmed up to Alice as well. Eventually, they got along really well. It was Astrid's only worry and she was very happy at the outcome.
"Hey, your phone went off, by the way." David spoke interrupting Alice's thoughts as she took a seat at the table. "You should do better to keep track of it. Or is your life so boring you could care less who looks at your password-less phone?"
"Bingo!" David handed Alice her cellphone and she looked to see what the notification on it was. There was a text message from Jane Thomas. The looker of Alice's small group of friends. Jane had tons of tattoos and several piercings. Alice thought she was the coolest person in Riverdale. Although Alice could never imagine getting tattoos or facial piercings, Jane made her wish she had the looks to pull them off.
-Hey everyone, if your not busy how about we all meet up at the diner? On me of course-
"I got an invitation to the diner." Astrid turned to her daughter, her brow furrowed.
"So no breakfast?"
"No, no. I'll eat here. The diner is just a place to meet up. I'll probably just have a drink or something. You really think I'd take food from there over the food my mom makes? This is about as rare as seeing a lunar eclipse." Alice's mother's smile returned.
"I'm glad you love my cooking so much. I was about to ask you about your friends. You should definitely visit them more often. I know you love your artwork and computer about as much as lion loves its cubs but sometimes you gotta step outside that comfort zone."
"Yeah. You've given me this speech several times. I'm going to see them so no need to worry about me so much. I'm not sure when I'll be back because I have no clue what Jane has planned."
"Jane?" David asked. "Isn't that the tattoo girl?" Alice nodded her head. "I just hope she can find a job with all those body modifications. It looks cool not but not so much when you're out there searching for a job."
"Oh, my, god. David, you're not old enough to be concerned about others and trying to view their future. You have a full plate dealing with your own."
After breakfast Alice was out the door and in her Mini Cooper after she grabbed her trademark satchel. Due to the town she lived in not being entirely too big it was a little more than a hop, skip, and a jump to get to the diner. Upon pulling into the driveway Alice saw that there were several other vehicles parked as well. She thought maybe it was someone's birthday celebration going on. When she entered the diner she almost froze at the door. Many of the 'A-listers' were there. Alice didn't particularly enjoy being in the same vicinity as them. Their personalities clashed way too much. To make matters worse she didn't see any of her friends.
A waitress came up and seated Alice, thankfully, at a booth a little ways from the others. Alice hoped that none of the others recognized her.
"Honey, what would you like?" The waitress spoke up to get Alice's attention.
"Oh, uh, I'll take a water for now. I'm actually waiting on others" The waitress nodded in understanding and went off to get Alice's drink. All the girl could do was pray Jane and the others showed up soon. Alice was used to being by herself but not in such a crowded place.
Tanner smiled at the text he received from Jane, she'll be stopping by. And he would need a lot of willpower to keep him from just forgetting that they can't be seen together. He was hanging out with the popular people, and she wasn't acceptable by their standards. He quickly typed out a text back,
As Nicole ordered up, Tanner looked at her and smiled "Nice, are you sure it'll last you till dinner?" he asked Nicole, who had an impossibly fast metabolism. "May I have the Chilli Cheese Fries and the Philly burger?" asked Toby before looking out the window, in anticipation. "And I'll have the Guac burger." Tanner added on. The waitress left after writing down the orders on her notepad.
"So, do you guys think Ray would love me or hate me if I got her an alarm clock for her b-day coming up?" Nicole spoke up, Toby smiled, and Tanner snickered. "Are you serious Nikki? I would love you forever, and to eternity if you do. And if she hates you, you can tell her that I was part of it too. We'll face her together. Tanner said to his best friend. And Toby was brought back to earth when Anna joins the group and sits right next to Tanner. "Sup Anna, So after brunch what do you guys want to do? I'm thinking a day at the lake would be nice. Catch up on everything before school starts again." Toby said, before scanning the diner. He noticed that an Outcast had just walked into the diner, maybe even one of Jane's friends. He honestly didn't know anyone Jane knew, they never hung out with others around them. He tapped his finger against his glass of cherry coke as he kept glancing occasionally out into the diner. "I'm bailing if you guys go to the lake, you know I hate Lakes." Tanner said in response his older brother's suggestion.
