The Story

That’s all it takes, right? Just a bunch of people who don’t know each other, joining a chat room, just blowing off steam as they talk about their days. One is the daughter of a doctor and a lawyer. One is a quarterback who has a full ride academic scholarship to college. One is a photographer, one is a loner who doesn’t talk to anyone. One is the typical Wiccan outcast, and the last is someone who always seems to have good luck in everything. Little do the members of CHAT know, they see each other every day in High School. They’re all in the same graduating class. Do they know it? Will they find out?

Rules
Follow site rules! No godmodding, powerplaying, mary sues, gary sues, no nasty sexy stuff...did I mention no godmodding?
FC’s are negotiable. Please be polite when you ask to change them!
Reserves last for 48 hours unless more time is requested for a legitimate reason! I don’t want you to just be like β€œoh hi umm I forgot so can I have another day?” No, you will not get another day. If you have school or someone died or your sister went into labor, I get that. Life happens.
Please put the name of your character in the font color when you reserve a character so I know you read the rules.
I am aware that this will be shorter posting in your chat posts, but please don’t use chat speak outside of the chat room. Non-chatroom posts should be between 100-200 words. Chat posts can be as low as 45 words.
Chat posts will be done in the characters color, which I have assigned, and bolded for those colors that are harder to read (the pink and purple specifically).
Please follow the character skeleton I have provided below! You can add more pictures, but I don’t want less than the number I’ve asked for...please! :)
Please follow my rules. I worked really hard on this roleplay, and I’d appreciate a tiny bit of respect as the GM.
Have fun. This is meant to be a totally open plot for everyone to be able to contribute to. I don’t mind cussing, or sexual innuendo, but don’t have sexy stuff in the role play :P
Posts will be done both at the actual school, and in the chat room. People can chat in school (this is the age of smartphones), and you may also be friends with individual people outside of the chat room. However, the you don’t know who the others in the chat room are.

Blaine flushed a light red when she said the thing about him going shirtless. He remembered the first day that Bianca hadn't sat with him at lunch. It had been a God-awful day. Instead of having his trusted side kick to keep the bullies/populars away, Blaine had been instantly surrounded by jocks and bullies, who beat on him until he could barely breathe. Then, they had done the unspeakable. They'd cut his dreadlocks. His precious hair had been chopped with rough edges and at uneven lengths. Had they gotten in trouble? No, Blaine had for "egging them on."

The boy shuddered at the thought, subconsciously touching his dreadlocks and sighing when he discovered that they were still there, still as long as ever. Blaine raised his hand and asked to use the rest room, which his teacher allowed. He stood, walking toward the Latin rooms and eventually finding Bianca's room. Look out the door :P he sent to her wile he made stupid faces in the window and danced like a moron.

The bell rang and Malcolm was off to the next class. English. Personally, Malcolm didn't like English. The teacher hated him in there and he wasn't much of a writer, though that was mostly because of the topics. Plus that's the class he gets picked on a lot about being a atheist. It's not like it's his fault he doesn't believe in no almighty god. So, Malcolm sat there in math for a moment with his football player pals. He checked CHAT one last time and decided to make a few quick responses.

@OddBall you're right. It's not my football pals I don't like though, I grew up with them...sorta

@Patches okay, time to start my new life as a reformed person & go write a song! XD

@LuckyMe nice...aw well they were gonna find out anyways haha

@BlingBling yeah I'll have as much horribly hurting fun as I possibly can haha

Malcolm smiled to himself as he sent the message. That's when Mr. Laggar kicked them all out of his room and he was forced to go to English.

Well, heading to English, aka the home of my torment on atheism -_- wish me luck...

Malcolm placed his phone in his pocket as he walked into English class and made his way to the back. All the while, students were hitting the back of his legs with bibles. Bibles. There was no fellow jocks in his English class. His English class was mostly full of bible loving, over the top, strict Christians and Catholics. He sat down in the very back of the class and a person from the Christians and a person from the Catholics came over and started saying prayers and stuff like save this poor soul. Malcolm just opened his notebook and began doing his assignment.

It was ten minutes into class when she received the CHAT message from Blaine. She looked at it for a moment, her confusion evident, before she looked up and out the window of the classroom. A snort escaped her, and it developed into a soft giggle. A look from the teacher silenced her, and she was quiet for only a moment, before she began to giggle again. Her classmates looked at her oddly before they followed her gaze out the window. Laughter slowly began to erupt throughout the classroom, and the teacher, Mr. Harsvali, turned purple with anger.

Uh-oh, better run, Blaine, before he catches you! :P

She flipped to the main chat and typed vigorously into it as Harsvali began towards the door, to figure out what the commotion was about.

Does anyone have advice for someone that's stupid enough to listen to his friend? Because mine is about to get into a helluva lot of trouble because he did what I told him to do - JOKINGLY! Lol!

She looked back up at the door as Harsvali flung it open, and with quiet movements, shoved her books and things into her bag. She slung it over to her shoulder and discreetly slipped from the window.

ThatOneOddBall has left the CHAT.

She landed and flipped it open to her remaining CHAT, the one with Blaine.

Wanna skip with me? Meet me out around the side of the school, next to the bushes that we used to hide in

Blaine ran. Now, he was a regular smoker and liked to indulge in marijuana, but he could still run like hell when he needed to. Exactly what I was thinking! Blaine typed as he ran. As he headed toward the bus lane, he had to dodge several teachers who were obviously looking for him.

Blaine jumped out an open window, barrel rolling to the sidewalk. He took off at a sprint to the bus lane, where he collapsed against the wall as he lit a cigarette. You're lucky I like you so much. He sent just as he saw Bianca round the corner from the school to the bus lane.

She left the chat between the two of them after he sent those two replies, a laugh bubbling up from her chest. She rounded the corner just as he flipped out a window, and grinned at him.

"Yeah, I guess I'm pretty lucky that you do," she said with a shrug, beaming a smile down at him. She held out a hand and helped him up. "You really shouldn't smoke; it's terribly bad for you," she pointed out. She took a few steps back and adjusted her bag. "Come on, let's hit the movies, like old times, alright?"

With that, she turned on her heel and started down the sidewalk, her bag bouncing against her thigh. She tossed a saucy look over her shoulder at him. "As slow as ever, I see. It's all those cigarettes getting to you," she teased, sticking her tongue out at him.

Blaine just laughed, taking another drag of the cigarette. "Yeah, yeah, I know. They're going to kill me one day," He chuckled and turned toward the school parking lot. As he walked, he ducked under windows so as not to be seen by teachers and other students.

"C'mon," He said as he threw his leg over the side of his motorcycle. "Get on behind me and hold on tight," He said with a smirk toward Bianca.

With a mental eye roll, Bianca strode over to the motorcycle and swung over behind him, her arms slipping around his abdomen. She adjusted her bag to ensure that it wouldn't open or fly off once they started moving, then turned around to face his back.

"At least it's better then when you tried to pick me up on your bicycle when we were eight," she joked, smirking up at him. She tightened her arms as he had ordered, her face turning into his face and snuggling in between his shoulder blades.

Her heart hammered in her chest, out of nowhere picking up in speed. Her breath hitched and for a moment she stopped breathing, her heart skipping a beat. Her fingers curled into his shirt at his waist. She couldn't help it; his sudden nearness was unnerving.

Nervous. That's what she was. What an odd emotion. It was one that she rarely felt. She was nervous when she had her first kiss in seventh grade. Se was nervous when she went to the doctor to donate blood. But she had never, never felt nervous around Blaine. It was an unnatural feeling.

"Let's go," she suddenly said. Her voice sounded different even to her. Softer, quieter ... Flirting? She was flirting? Good God, what was going on with her?

Sawyer's vividly colored head is fairly easy to spot as she weaves in and out of the crowd, playing a game in which she is a ninja and the faster she gets to class, the easier the assassination she has been assigned. The girl isn't really much for stopping to talk while walking in the hallways, to be honest, though this is probably due to a general dislike for standing still for too long. There is a reason that she seems to be constantly drumming or tapping her foot, and it definitely has something to do with a jittery sort of nature. Darting through the apathetic crowd is a small task for someone so well practiced in it as Sawyer, and soon she is heading into her English class, which she can't say much for, student wise. It is composed primarily of religious fanatics and a few scattered strangers. Now, Sawyer has nothing in particular against religion. In fact, her parents were once rather religious, though they faded to being the 'believes but doesn't attend' sort of Christians. She, however, does dislike the sort who will act poorly towards others based on religion. Sawyer is an agnostic, herself, because she doesn't want to rule anything out for certain, but when she was younger had believed that everything was the chapter of some greater story that no one else had really read in its entirety.

There is one thing to be said for her English class: the debates are always heated and and amusing, even when some of the people haven't got the slightest idea as to what they are talking about. Sawyer admires their passion, if nothing else. As she walks into the class, she is confused by the sight of Bibles. Okay, there are several members of the class who do bring their religious text to school every day, but usually not quite this many. It dawns on her that perhaps they are arguing against something today- when she was a sophomore, some of the students refused to read a book that they were reading because they said that it perpetuated things that God disapproved of. Perhaps that is the motivation today? What are we reading. . .Picture of Dorian Gray? That's what was on the list. They definitely over exaggerate their definition of 'immoral,' she muses, moving towards the back to take a seat next to a jock- the only one in the class.

Her normal seat is taken, unfortunately, and she is vaguely reminded of one of the whispers from yesterday's Art class. "Did you hear? Jackson broke up with Millie," the memory rings through her mind as her gaze slides over Millie, who has taken Sawyer's seat in an attempt to avoid Jackson. Sawyer doesn't really get the point of it, but obligingly finds another seat. Hence, her stationing next to Mr. Captain Of the Football team. She doesn't know him well, and yet breaks out into a grin as she sits down, remembering the girl in front of her in Chinese who had swore to her friends that she was going to 'get with him' at some party on Friday.

Best of luck, Mr. Seymore, she thinks with a grin before pulling out a notebook which has more doodles than it does notes. She begins writing down the assignment, but her focus seems to be constantly breaking- as usual. To try and justify her distracted nature, she glances towards Malcom.

"How's it going, man? Did you start reading the book yet?" she asks. Sawyer has this gift for talking to people as though she has known them for ages. Well, a gift in some ways, though it tends to put some people off. It is more in her tone than her words, though, and the way she tends to lean in very slightly when speaking, as though her entirety is being put into the conversation.

As Malcolm finished writing down the assignment, he was hit in the head with a bible. A goddamn bible. There should be some rule against bringing a bible to school. Malcolm thought. He jumped up, looking like he was about to pound the kid. But he looked him in the eyes and sat back down. This was defiantly his least favorite class.

Malcolm went back to writing his assignment when he felt someone sit in the desk next to him. It wasn't like he actually felt them sit down, but he could feel their presence, if that makes any since. He shot a glance over to the desk to see a girl. A pretty girl. Malcolm smiled to himself think that this may actually be a good day in the class after all. He shook his head out of his thoughts and went back to writing, his paper looking as neat as ever in his nearly perfect cursive.

When he heard the girl talking, Malcolm looked up at her. She looked like a nice person with that certain look in her eye. Even her voice sounded like the voice of a nice person. Malcolm would even go as far to say she sounded like an angel. "Hey," Malcolm said with his small smile and a slight nod. He stared the girl in her eyes for a moment before snapping out of it. "Uhh, y-yeah. I, uh, finished it already." Malcolm said as fast as he could, though he stuttered slightly. Feeling his face start to warm up slightly from embarrassment, he looked back to his paper and started writing again.

Blaine suddenly felt the need to flex, his arms and torso tightening suddenly as she touched him. He was muscular, more so than people thought or knew, and he liked to show off around girls...he'd never wanted to show off in front of Bianca before. Honestly, he'd never thought of her as a girl. She'd always just been Bianca.

"You're going to like this a hellof a lot more than my old bike," He said. She'd used a flirty tone, so he flirted right back. Blaine smirked, starting the bike. "Vroom, vroom," He joked as he took off at a cool 55 miles an hour from the parking lot. Sure, he was being cocky and trying to be impressive, but he was also nervous as hell.

"Where to?!" He called over the rushing wind as he ran a stop sign.

Sawyer glances over towards a kid who is slinking back to his desk, holy book in hand as he slides back into seat, muttering some incomprehensible words. Honestly, some of the kids here feel like stereotypes that have leaped out of a textbook and chosen to enroll in this particular high school. It is incredibly discouraging, as far as Sawyer is concerned, and often makes her wonder how she will cope with going out and meeting more than a handful of people that you don't have to spend seven weeks with to scrape past the first layer of slime which has been engraved upon them by expectations, media, and parentage. Despite not knowing if she will be able to handle it, Sawyer remains optimistic that such a time will come, and hopes very much that it will come soon. Of course, she is graduating this year, and that means a broadening of horizons. Perhaps her wish is on the brink of coming true- especially once she moves to Baltimore, where the diversity is supposed to be a good deal better than the white-washed town she currently finds herself sentenced to until she has made it out of this school.

The girl raises her eyebrow, amused, at Malcolm's sudden trance-like stare. Her first thought is that he is probably staring at her hair, or trying to figure out why she is talking to him- rather, why she thinks she is allowed to sit near him. Not being well versed in the identity of the entire school population, she remains only vaguely aware of him being the more down to earth of the jocks, and even that vague information seems to lack a name to be smacked with, for the moment. Her expressions changes from amused to impressed when he says that he has, in fact, already finished the book. Sure, it's hardly a mountain of a book, but it was only assigned yesterday. He must have liked ti a good deal to have finished it already. "Really? I started to read it, but got a bit distracted. The weather yesterday was fantastic, you know?" she speaks calmly but with that smile still.

She notices that the kid from before is glaring vehemently at Malcolm, ridiculously enough, and that his bible is angled in his lap so that the title is shown despite it being opened. Taking the chance, she angles her camera from beneath her desk so that she can take the picture without being seen, snapping a photo of what should be a contradictory scene.

"I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. They are so unlike your Christ," Sawyer recites, glancing over with raised eyebrow towards Malcolm, her little smile threatening to be pulled into a grin once more as the corners of her mouth dance slightly. The teacher tells her to focus on the assignment before taking what appears to be a pain reliever and lying their head down on the desk.

Malcolm smiled a bit as he looked up at the girl as she mentioned the weather from yesterday. She looked so familiar. But Malcolm would figure her name out latter, he was busy at the moment. "I know, I had practice." He said with a smile and went back to writing like they were both suppose to be doing.

Hearing a click from the direction of the girl, Malcolm glances over to see her taking a picture. Of what? He hasn't the clue, but finds it amusing that she's taking it nonetheless. He stopped writing midsentence as she recited a quote all too familiar to Malcolm. I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. They are so unlike your Christ. Malcolm muses in thought, he flashes a smile at her then turns away when the teacher speaks up, calling her out by name. Sawyer? Sawyer. Malcolm muses in thought and looks back at Sawyer with a small smile on his face.

He glances to the teacher, back at Sawyer, then goes back to writing. "Mahatma Gandhi." Malcolm says, glancing over at Sawyer as he reveals the bearer of the quote. He then returns with a quote of his own. "Jesus is ideal and wonderful, but you Christians, you are not like him. Bara Dada." He says with a smile toward Sawyer, a gleam in his eye. Why he returned with a quote like that? Because that's sort of how he felt about it all. Though he doesn't believe in anything really.

She gasped at the jolt as the motorcycle began to move, and tightened her arms around his abdomen, letting out a laugh of exhilaration in the process. The wind slapped against her skin that wasn't protected by Blaine's body, and when they ran the stop sign, she pinched his side.

"Stop breaking the law before we get pulled over! They'll realize we're supposed to be in school, too, and will ticket us and take us to prison!" she shouted above the roaring wind. She thought about his question for a moment, before replying, "Let's go to my house instead, and then we can go to a movie later, when we won't be caught for skipping school. I know you've always hated my house because of my dad, but we can sneak in without him knowing!"

It was true, though. Blaine had always hated going over to her house, and he had never bothered to hide it. Her father was an alcoholic, and abused her mother up until she died from breast cancer - conveniently, four years ago. Just before she and Blaine stopped talking and she basically became a recluse and a social outcast.

Her father had only grown worse by each passing day, and although he had abused her before, too, it increased when her mother passed. She had the scars to prove it, and was currently sporting a deep cut on the fatty underside of her upper arm. She had been the one to remove the glass from the bottle, and also the one to cleanse and stitch it, then proceed to bandage it, for if she had gone to the hospital, all that that would have accomplished would be an investigation that would end in her remaining with her father, and another severe beating.

Needless to say, she didn't go to the hospital for the cut.

Bianca shifted her weight a bit on the motorcycle and tightened her arms around him suddenly, the thoughts of her life causing her muscles to clench up. "We can climb in through my window!" she called, in an effort to distract herself.

Sawyer nods when he mentions having had practice, realizing that she probably should have guessed this- the schedule for football players is rather rigorous, it should seem. That much, at least, they must be somewhat admired for- well, except for the ones that don't bother to show up for every practice, she supposes. A few minutes later, following her picture and murmured quote, she hears a whispered voice to her side, and glances over to see Malcolm looking at her while she quickly registers his words. Her expression, which had faded into an attempt at concentration for a little bit, breaks back into a smile as he has recognized and cited her little quote. She confirms his words with a microscopic bob of the head, tapping her pencil against the desk and studying his face for a moment. Hm. Wasn't there some sort of more intelligent jock? Guess this is him, eh? Lucky guy, eh? she muses, envying the fact that he can be intelligent and athletic at once- probably on his way to a scholarship somewhere, where he may very well continue to be a golden boy of some sort. Well, whatever- she's relatively content with her own lifestyle.

She is about to turn her attention reluctantly back to the assignment, but the intentions are interrupted when Malcolm gives his own quote, one with very similar concept. Her eyes flicker back towards him with a sort of surprised amusement, the tapping against her desk momentarily coming to a halt before she nods once more. "Whoa there, Mr. Don't let your friends hear you quoting people like Bara Dada. It may just freak them out," she teases with a quirky sort of smile before glancing back to her work, which isn't nearly as close to finished as it ought to be at this point. If this were art class, perhaps she would be given credit, but the doodles on her assignment are worth no credit, and she's only written a few lines so far. She looks over at his paper to see that he is definitely getting a lot further than she is. Definitely the intelligent jock, she confirms with a raised eyebrow.

Blaine didn't protest the idea, but he didn't exactly want to go there. He still had a long scar on his back from the time he'd pushed Bianca out of the way of an incoming belt that her father had been using as a whip. Blaine remembered the moment as if it was yesterday.

"Bianca! Get your ass down these stairs!" Her father had yelled. Bianca had, of course, gone down. She would be in more trouble if she didn't. Blaine had followed her quietly, sneaking to the stairs to watch. "What the fuck are you doing with a boy in your room!? Why the hell was the door closed!?" He was yelling, taking off his belt as he did. Blaine remembered thinking that she was going to be hurt, and hating it. He, in an 11 year old rage, threw all his weight against Bianca at the last second to get her out of the way. Instead of the belt like whip hitting Bianca, it had hit him square in the spine.

Blaine shuddered at the memory, sighing as he turned off the bike a block from her house. He'd push it to behind her garage, the same spot he'd hide his bright green bike with the black fire painted on it. Blaine got off gracefully, then offered his hand to Bianca. "You're lucky I like you so much, or I'd never go into your house again," He said with a smirk.

Blaine pushed the bike as they walked, liking that he and Bianca were finally hanging out again. "You know...I've got a lot of money saved up from working at the garage...I get tips because people like the extra work I put into their cars...It's enough for a crappy apartment. You don't have to live here anymore," his eyes met hers at the last part, showing how serious he was. "You haven't had to since we were eleven," He said with a smile, lightening the mood with a joke.

She felt his shudder and knew precisely what it was that he was thinking about. She had to suppress her own trembling as the memory passed through her. Yes, she had been scared, but she had been furious when the belt struck Blaine instead of her. It was one of the main reasons that she had gone downstairs that day. Afterwards, she had called Blaine's parents, who had arrived with police and an ambulance not far behind. Her mother had been at work when it had happened, and she arrived home to the assembly of government officials, a distraught daughter, a furious husband in handcuffs in the back of a squad car, and fretful, angered Malcom's.

He wasn't allowed to play with her after that.

When they stopped, she allowed him to help her off of the bike, her hand lingering a moment too long in his. She stood to the side but was ready to help him push the bike if he needed it, and walked alongside him, her shoulder brushing his, the same way that they would together when they were younger.

His words were compelling, the ache of wanting, needing to leave her home pushing her to do so. She couldn't, though, no matter how badly she wanted to.

She had promised her mother that she was take care of her father until she was eighteen.

A terrible promise to make when it came to that man, but one she had made nonetheless, for her mother, who had been on her deathbed.

Bianca hesitated, and then answered him.

"You know how badly I would love to, Blaine. Actually, you really don't know how badly I wish that I could. But ... I promised my mom," she said softly.

They reached the garage and she helped cover his motorcycle with the blanket they used to use to cover his bike, and then led the way to the house. After peaking in through the window, she started up the white, wooden ladder attached to the side of the house, which had several types of plants growing over it, and tapped on the window frame a few times. With a flick and one more tap, the lock came undone and she slipped in quietly.

"He's probably passed out on the couch downstairs, so we don't have to be too quiet," she said, moving into the room.

Blaine let out a long, low laugh as he looked around her room. "Hey little miss bad ass, what's with all the hello kitty still?" He joked, looking around the room that hadn't changed in four years. Blaine grabbed her in a sudden, huge bear hug, his chin on top of her head. "I missed you, Bee," He said quietly.

Blaine pushed her away playfully after a quick moment, smiling as he did. "Now...what are we going to do? Play twister? Watch Disney movies? I still remember watching Lion King with you and I couldn't sing any other parts except the characters you told me to sing," Blaine laughed again, smiling. "Simba, Scar, and Timone were the three main ones I sang. You sometimes let me sing others, but not often," Blaine rolled his eyes and shook his head.

Blaine flopped onto her bed, his arms flung out to his sides. He patted the bed next to him, smiling and wagging his eyebrows devilishly. "Wanna cuddle?" He teased, smiling in a cocky, 'I-can-make-you-blush' way.

She flushed a dark red and narrowed her eyes at him. "What Hello Kitty? I only liked her when we were younger!" she insisted, sticking her tongue out at him. When he captured her in the hug, she relaxed, her arms gently raising to return it. "I missed you too, Beeny," she said, closing her eyes for a moment.

She grinned up at him and shoved at his chest, moving over to rifle through movies. "Oh, I still love being in control over those sort of things. You just had the misfortune of being my target. You and your dreadlocks from day one," she teased. She rose and moved over to the TV, slid in the DVD, and pressed play. His offer caused her to raise her brows, and his daring grin made her narrow her eyes again, in a look that said, 'You can try, but you'll fail'.

Moving over, she dropped down beside him and laid back, her head falling to rest on his shoulder and her arm slipping into his. Their fingers twined together, just like when they were kids and laying in the grass in the field behind his house, across and down the street.

Making sure that the movie started, she leaned up to prop some pillows behind them, then laid back down beside him.

"Just like old times, huh?" she smiled, cuddling into his side.

Malcolm smiled over at Sawyer at what she said. She was right. They already picked on him sometimes because he could get A's and B's in his classes without the help of an A student doing his work. So stereotypical. "Yeah. They wouldn't be having none of that." Malcolm said with a smile to her. He couldn't help himself from starring at her a moment. She was different then other girls that talked to him. She didn't say she wanted to hookup with him within the first sentence she spoke to him, like most people. He was nearly done with his assignment and looked over at Sawyer's paper. It was mostly doodles. Malcolm smiled at the sight, believing it made her a little cuter somehow.

Once he finished his assignment, he got out another notebook. His playbook. The playbook contained pages and pages of mathematical plays that Malcolm came up with. He used all his mathematical skills when coming up with plays. Everyone was always in the right place at the right time. And he made sure of that. He planed for everything. And I mean everything. He had sheets where it was almost the exact same play with one person moved a yard away. He knew it wasn't exactly the healthiest thing to be doing, but he had to seem like an actual jock somehow and he was about to go around being dumb and a bully. That just wasn't him.

"Someone's gotta keep everyone in tightly packed boxes, right?" Sawyer responds with a smile, probably not considering the fact that they are still, to some extent, Malcolm's friends. "Tough job, but it needs to be done," she adds, pulling a solemn face for a moment before her smile cracks out again, like a curtain moving slightly to reveal the outdoors that it had been hiding all along. Of course, as far as hiding things goes, her expressions aren't the best at it- she can be read like a book, after all, and is constantly reminded of this by those who are around her. On the bright side, it means that she's a lot less complicated and people don't run the risk of her going behind their back or hiding things. On the other hand, surprise parties are not her forte, and generally she has to arrive with the birthday person, or avoid the person all week, for fear of letting on what's about to go down. Sure, she's honest, but she is terrible with anything that is at the front of her mind: the only secrets she can keep are the ones she doesn't care about, like whom she has heard whispering about cheating on who, etc.

She tries to focus more on the work, and succeeds to some extent, but her attention is drawn towards a bird flying past the window, which she quickly sketches, or a person reading under their breath. While Sawyer doesn't quite give up, it becomes clear that she isn't really putting her all into trying to pay attention to the work, even though she really wants to. Her eyes are pulled towards Malcolm's hand, which is flipping through pages of a book that it is filled to the brim with mathematical equations and such. Her impressed expression returns, an eyebrow raising as she leans towards him slightly to look into the book. "And they say Jocks are boneheads. Are those plays?" she asks, noticing a note that looks like it has to do with actually playing something related to the math.

Andrea

Image

Time slowly ticked by as well as class. Andrea was fiercely taking notes in her copybook as her Anatomy teacher, Mr. Cleaver, lectured the class about the importance of organisms. As always, it was a topic that her teachers in grade school had covered but Mr. Cleaver took great interest in. Andrea had heard from Chelsea, one of her 'friends', that he had wanted to be researcher who specialized in the basics of life. She also told Andrea that he had applied to Yale but didn't get accepted, so he went to a community college instead. Andrea knew Chelsea loved to gossip and always knew everything before anyone else, but sometimes what she heard, interpreted, or was told wasn't true. For some reason, Andrea believed what was said about Mr. Cleaver, but at the same time she didn't. Why would someone as smart as he go to community college just because they were denied from Yale? It made no sense to her.

Eventually he stopped talking and she glanced at the clock in the back of the room, only 20 minutes left in class. She groaned to herself and felt something hit her neck. She turned her head to see Chelsea nodding towards a piece of paper on the floor. Andrea bent over and picked it up. She unfolded it in her lap and saw the small, bubbly writing with two boxes underneath it.

Are you going to the party Friday?

[ ] yessss. [ ] noooo.

Andrea took her pen and put a check in the 'noooo' box. She sent it back to Chelsea and turned back to her notes.

Re: Come Have A Talk: CHAT!

Unfortunately, my news is similar to Kura's: Going out of town for the weekend, So I might not be able to post (Hence the phone confiscation, so that she doesn't just suddenly seem to fade out)

Re: Come Have A Talk: CHAT!

Re: Come Have A Talk: CHAT!

I apologize! Exams are ridiculous at my school. Like, why are they giving us EVERYTHING we have to know the day before the test? Makes no sense to me. Ugh. But I posted! Sorry it took so long and sorry if it's not that good. I'm half asleep right now. ahh. it's 12:00 A.M.

Re: Come Have A Talk: CHAT!

It's okay, Bandgeek. We're sexy twins ^-^

Re: Come Have A Talk: CHAT!

<< I apologize for having a life, and a broken arm. :D

Re: Come Have A Talk: CHAT!

Well since jacqueline and bandgeek aren't posting I'm making a second post.

Re: Come Have A Talk: CHAT!

KURA!!! Gah! OMG!

It's funny cuz Blaine has a far away crush on her without knowing who she is xD

*pokes everyone except Kura and Stars* guise, make first posts!

So far, posting order will be:

Me
Stars
Kura

Who ever posts next will be next, then so on and so forth

Re: Come Have A Talk: CHAT!

ONE LAST QUICK RULE: LET EVERYONE POST BEFORE YOU POST AGAIN UNLESS YOU ARE IN A PRIVATE CHAT MESSAGE OR YOU ARE HAVING A SPECIFIC INTERACTION WITH ANOTHER CHARACTER.

Thanks :D

Re: Come Have A Talk: CHAT!

now that everyone's characters are up, the first post is going up! :D

Re: Come Have A Talk: CHAT!

The characters look awesome :) I like that Blaine's last name is Malcom's first name :P

I hope bandgeek gets his character up soon! :D

Re: Come Have A Talk: CHAT!

I have finally submitted the character! :D I don't think the part with the personality and everything after that is too good because I kept getting distracted :P but I got'er'done! :)

Re: Come Have A Talk: CHAT!

Sawyer is officially finished :-)

Re: Come Have A Talk: CHAT!

Rage and bandgeek, you have one day remaining on your reserves. I will also PM you to remind you, in case you don't check here.

Jacqueline- your FC change has been approved!

OurStars, Kura- your characters look great! Just don't forget to finish them before I start the role play, please :D

I have university class tomorrow afternoon, so I'm giving Rae and bandgeek until 4 pm on Tuesday (that's Chicago/Illinois time/USA time). At that point, I'll have the first post up by 8 pm, and if their characters aren't done, they'll just be behind! :P (not trying to be rude, but I don't want this to die before it ever starts!)

Re: Come Have A Talk: CHAT!

Yay! :D The CS should be up shortly c:

Re: Come Have A Talk: CHAT!

Hello, may I possibly reserve QBNerd22345? I'd just love to "get-my-nerd-on" with ya'll haha :P

Re: Come Have A Talk: CHAT!

First: ohmygawd lol I just died a little

Secondly: I don't really have an endgame in mind. I have three, actually. 1) certain people find out and certain people don't, they go about their daily lives. 2) all of them find out, they're all like "shit now they know my secrets" one of them goes crazy, invites them all to a party and brutally murders all of them. 3) no one finds out, they all go their separate ways, and life goes on.

Thank you :) I worked really hard on this, even though the description isn't much, I tried to make something that would catch people. If you like it, are you interested in the last open character?

Thanks for all the compliments :)

Re: Come Have A Talk: CHAT!

First thing: I laughed out loud at the one open screen name. XD

Second, I'd like to know what sort of endgame you have in mind for this RP. What happens when the various chatters do or do not find out about each other's identity? I imagine if not people just go about their college applications as normal, but what if they do--that part's bugging me quite a bit.

Clever acronym in the title, by the way! Really caught my eye!

Re: Come Have A Talk: CHAT!

Sure thing, Jacqueline! Welcome to the RP :D
