In a London very similar to ours, the chasm between the classes is as solid an obstacle as a stone wall, and even more obvious. Life for those who are born into wealth and riches is easy; they are waited on day and night, and they never want for anything. However for those born to poor and beggarly parents, the future is dismal and pathetic. Many do not survive past childhood, and most spend their lives working in menial professions for the Upper Classes, just to earn enough money to buy a loaf of bread. Though, there is another option. Each Upper Class child is at some point between the ages of eight and eighteen, gifted a servant. This servant takes it upon themselves to serve their Master, in hope of earning a little mercy, and enough coin to survive another month. Though this means offering themselves to an often selfish and cruel Master, for many of the poorer individuals choose to serve in exchange for the safety that their Masters offer them.

In recent years, the number of poor have been growing uncontrollably, and the Government has taken it upon themselves to purge their towns and cities of these 'vermin'. Nowhere is safe on the streets, and there is no hiding. Each 'poor' is assessed at the age of thirteen, unless they are a Servant and otherwise marked, and is given a badge to wear. All without a badge disappear. All of those on the streets have had to make a choice: Serve, or Starve?

(OoC: Might as well kickstart this one as well...)
Well, to think I've the honor of telling you my tale! Well, I was at work in the kitchens, preparing breakfast for my new mistress, Miss Felicia Haddon. Due to my not knowing her tastes, I decided upon a simple morning brunch of rabbit moco loco, which is diced rabbit served under brown rice, topped with two eggs and bacon gravy. Not exactly the healthiest thing for a meal, but it leaves one pleased beyond all recognition(Except vegans, but they don't count).

With the dish prepared, I took the plate, lowered it onto a tray to be covered, and brought it to my Mistress' room. I knocked, and stood outside, giving her what I figured to be a proper amount of time to hide anything unsightly, and walked in. However, what my peers call my being a "bloody ninja" had apparently kicked in, and Miss Felicia apparently had no idea I had even knocked, much less noticed me enter. I tried my best to gently notify her of my presence. With a simple cough. When that failed, I simply spoke, hoping she wouldn't be too disturbed by my presence.

"Miss Felicia, your breakfast is ready."

Felicia was sat in bed, reading, as she was often found to be doing wherever she might have been in the house. Lost as she was in her book, she didn't hear the knock at the door, simply turned another page. Nor did she hear whoever it was who had entered clear their throat.

"Miss Felicia, your breakfast is ready."

Felicia casually looked up from her book, taking in Darius's form. He'd only been here a few days and she was already getting used to the fact is was a distinct possibility that he was the child of a ninja clan. He had the disquieting habit of turning up seemingly out of thin air. She would have to get used to that if she wasn't going to have constant heart attacks whenever he appeared.

"Thank you Darius," Felicia said, her voice a little croaky given that she hadn't spoken to anyone in a while. She gave a small cough to clear her throat, placing the book on the bedside table. She indicated for Darius to bring the tray to her, wanting to eat breakfast in bed that morning. It smelled divine. "It tastes wonderful," Felicia commented after taking her first mouthful, " Do I have any important appointments to attend to today?"

(OoC: Yay for copy/paste!)
My chest swelled a bit with pride from her compliment, but she had a question to which I had an answer. I closed my eyes, recalling the list I had been given the evening prior that dropped to the floor of galas, fundraisers, soirees, and other fancy ways of saying you were giving away free food going on in the next few days that had asked for Miss Felicia's attendance.

"Absolutely nothing worth making a show of, really. Personally, I'd say sod the lot and stay in with a good book, but society dictates that we must make ourselves known on a regular basis. So I agreed for you to attend a ball tonight, and a fundraiser for some project tomorrow afternoon. I've prepared your dress for the ball, the car to get you there, and a quick little excuse saying you were feeling ill and could not attend, if that is your desire."

Felicia nodded as Darius reeled off her itinery for the next few days. A ball and a fundraiser. Yes, she could live with that. She neer understoid these social butterfly people who were never away from such events. No, that wasn't for her. Darius had only been here a few days and was already proving himself to be head and shoulders above her last valet. What was his name again? Nevermind. It wasn't important. Darius had everything under control.

"Excuses aren't necessary Darius, but thank you. I should probably show my face at some event or other before people start questioning my wellbeing," Felicia blew a lock of hair fom her face, "As appealing as a life of a hermit sounds, I doubt wider society would allow it."

Felicia finished her breakfast, thanking Darius once again for the meal. She found it paid to be polite to the staff, they stuck around longer. The incompetent staff were dealt with in the upmost discretion. She dismissed Darius and slid from the bed, beginning the daily ritual of getting washed and dressed. Felicia left her room, now fully dressed, fiddling with the cuffs of her shirt. She sighed in frustration. In reality, you probably needed four hands to be able to do your own cufflinks. God, the angle was so awkward.

"Darius?" Felicia called for her valet who, once again, managed to appear out of thin air, "Could you help me with these please?" She asked, holding the cufflinks in the palm of her hand.

Contrary to what was commonly believed, Alistair had never learned to sail a boat. He had never learned to do a lot of things stereotypical of the rich and famous. For example, he had never learned to play polo or chess, and he had never been one of those people to sit at his desk and count his pennies while enjoying the busy metropolitan landscape from his penthouse flat when there wasn't any smog. However, he was doing something very typical of what rich people did. He was lounging on the deck of his incredibly expensive luxury yacht, a butler stood erect behind his chair, sipping a glass of ice cold lemonade and watching the day go by. He'd been there for a good few hours now, and people had begun to congregate ashore to snap pictures of the rich young man. Alistair smirked slowly, but only after moving a hand to conceal the expression.

"Jeeves," He addressed the butler behind him. His name wasn't really Jeeves, but Alistair thought the stuffy name suited the stuffy man, "Jeeves, bring me some more lemonade"

"Of course, sir," The man drawled in his upper class tone, and Alistair laughed as he took his empty glass. The man reminded him often of a monkey that had been pushed into an expensive suit and put on show. Everything was comical about the man, including his bow legged walk. Alistair sighed and smiled, before standing and walking to the rail of his yacht to observe the day.

It was warm, hot enough that his drink had been refreshingly cool and beads of condensation had trickled down the glass. It made a nice change from the normal British weather. Alistair was dressed as he normally was - in stylishly worn jeans and a crisp white shirt with a loose black tie. His ever present hat was sat firmly upon his head despite the heat. In all honesty, Alistair wasn't too sure what to do with his day. It was approaching midday, and he'd already wasted the morning away eating sweets and drinking lemonade.

Turning, Alistair went back to the chair he'd been on, and, sitting on the edge of it, popped another skittle into his mouth as he slipped his phone out of his pocket. Jeeves returned with his lemonade, and Alistair took a sip as he swallowed the skittle, savouring the sweetness of his treats. In the reflection of the glass, he saw his servant, Hanako, who he had forced to come along with him that morning. Alistair smirked to himself, and turned to her, before beckoning with just one finger. He waited for her to approach before standing. As usual, he towered over her, but he chuckled softly so that he wouldn't intimidate her too much. He offered her the covered bowl of skittles and rose a quizzical brow.

"Would you like a skittle, Hanako?" He asked her, his tone implying some later mischief.

Hanako signed as she sat very silently on a bench on the yacht. To be honest, she never much cared for open water, though she never had the opportunity to sail on it like this. Still, the fear of the boat sinking or her falling off due to clumsiness, which was much more of a threat than anything else that could happen, made her very uneasy. She didn't want to make a fool of herself; not around him. The him in question was none other than her master, Alistair. He was a tall man, towering over her very short, five foot stature, and very, very handsome. He had hair as red as the freshest grown rose and eyes the color of emeralds. His skin was pale and the sun seemed to make it glisten.

The quiet, pink-haired girl looked over the side of the boat, taking in the sights, no matter how nervous it made her. The only other things she could look at were the ground and her master which, she figured, may get him to speak to her. Not that she didn't want that. His voice was often that of melting chocolate. Savory and smooth, with a bite to it. She almost longed to hear him speak, but she would have nothing of any value to say in return. Often just stealing a glance at him would get his attention. He had the eyes of a hawk, seeing the quickest eye movements. Then came the smile, or smirk rather. It gave Hanako chills. They were almost the eyes that a man gave to his lover. It always turned her face a glowing crimson. So, instead of risking an embarrassment on her part, she looked over the water at the sights of London. The London Eye, Big Ben, The Houses of Parliament, truly she had never been this close to them before. They almost evoked a smile on her face. Almost. She looked down, however, and what would have been a smile disappeared. She remembered what she wore. Alistair often had Hanako wear costumes to show that she was, in fact, his maid-servant. She didn't hate this particular dress, she just thought the skirt was a bit short. She preferred skirts past the knees, this came to her lower thigh. Though, it's best not to argue.

"Jeeves," And there it was, the voice immediately made her heartbeat quicken, "Jeeves, bring me some more lemonade."
"Of course, sir." The butler replied. His name was not Jeeves. Actually, Hanako wasn't entirely certain of what his name was. It was Alistair's pet name of sorts for him. The butler dare not correct him however. You never correct him. The man promptly returned with Alistair's lemonade. That's when Hanako began staring. The glass had beads of water sliding down the sides due to condensation. For some reason, this made Alistair appear even more attractive, Hanako was not certain why. As her master popped a skittle into his mouth, he took a sip from the lemonade, making Hanako blush slightly. A moment later, their eyes met, and the smirk appeared on his face. He turned to face her, beckoning with a single finger. Her heart stopped and her face turned it's bright crimson color as she quickly stood, brushing off her skirt and skittering to Alistair's feet. He stood, making her feel like an ant before a giant. Even though he chuckled, she still felt small, in more ways than one. Offering her the bowl of skittles, he spoke with a playful, mischievous tone. One that was very familiar to her.
"Would you like a skittle, Hanako?" Smooth, sultry. It made Hanako's heart race.
"I-If you will allow it...I-I suppose I w-would..." She squeezed her words out, putting her softened fist to her lips and looking away nervously, her glasses fogging.

I simply smiled as I took each cufflink in one hand and fed them through to their places in Miss Felicia's sleeves at the same time, a little trick I picked up while working for a tailor.
"Before I forget," I added, snapping the cufflinks into place, "Your father is curious as to if you plan on changing your mind on the thought of marriage, and has said he wishes an answer. Dare I inquire on the subject, or shall I keep mum about it from now on?" Bear mind that at this point I had no concern about my standing in my job, but merely the best interests of my Mistress at heart. As I awaited her answer, I took care of a few spots she had gotten loose on her outfit, and tucked a loose strand of hair over her ear while adding on a few light touches of powder to accentuate her already beautiful face without making it look like I was masking anything. By the time I was done thirty seconds later, she looked like a goddess, with one heavenly valet to match.

Felicia watched Darius intently as he snapped her cufflinks into place. She should probably start dressing more like a young woman, god knows her parents would be pleased if she did. "Before I forget, your father is curious as to if you plan on changing your mind on the thought of marriage, and has said he wishes an answer. Dare I enquire on the subject or shall I keep mum about it from now on?"

Felicia let her shoulders sag a little while Darius fussed over her. Marriage? Already? For crying out loud she was only eighteen. Darius pushed a lock of hair behind her ear and powdered her face. Felicia crinkled her nose slightly, the powderpuff tickling somewhat. Felicia had no idea how Darius knew all this stuff about makeup or what colours suited her and which ones didn't, but she was glad he did. "He's still going on about marriage?" She asked, a little disappointed her father hadn't let the subject drop, "Well, you can tell him that I'm in no hurry to settle down. In the highly unlikely event I find someone I wish to spend the rest of my life with, I will let him know. Until then, I have no desire to enter into an engagement." She knew she should probably tell him herself, but anytime Felicia and her father had a conversation, it almost always escalated into an argument, something Felicia found exhausting and a little saddening, "It's the twenty first century for crying out loud, hardly anyone gets married at eighteen anymore."

Alistair smirked slightly as his servant approached, and for a moment, a thoughtful look crossed his features as he considered the clothing she wore. Really, he thought that the colour was a little over the top for this particular venture out of doors, but it made him feel good to see that it was him that owned her. One of the more eccentric qualities that the man possessed was his almost childish delight in owning things, and knowing that he was in charge. He inhaled deeply, enjoying the pleasantly scented air, before glancing down at Hanako who was now stood before him.

"I-If you will allow it...I-I suppose I w-would..."

Alistair's lips twisted into a small, amused smile as he observed how nervous he made her. Of course, he was aware of the reaction he enforced upon her, if not the reason. The way her hand curled in front of her mouth irritated him, though. She should know better than to shrink away from him, yet the quickly angered young man kept his temper this time. Instead, he reached forwards with his long, slender fingers, and wrapped them around the hand that hid her lips. He took his time, enjoying making her feel uncomfortable as he pulled her hand away. Often, Alistair had considered taking on a more capable and self assured servant, and in honesty that whim was the reasoning behind Jeeves' presence, except he enjoyed teasing the girl too much to release her.

He smirked as he then released her hand, and placed the bowl of skittles on a nearby counter, as he reached up and placed his fingers against her chin, which he tugged down gently until her lips parted. And as they did, Alistair took a skittle, and popped it in her mouth, before abruptly turning his back to her and striding to the rail of his yacht.

"Bring me the phone, would you, Hanako?" Alistair requested with a small sigh, already bored of teasing the young woman.

I merely shrugged as I made the final touches on Miss Felicia's appearance. She truly was a work of art, the way her eyes pierced the soul like they did. Still is, come to think of it.
"He is a great man, but of an era past, and while he has values, they conflict with those of the modern world. I tried explaining that to him when he asked me, but like all great men of eras past, he refused to budge. Said he didn't even care who you married, so long as it happened eventually. Now-" I stood back to admire my handiwork and smiled, "what do you plan to for the next nine hours? I refuse to let you sit in bed and read all day. At least sit outside and read, sunlight is a MUCH better thing for your skin." I had already procured the parasol I'd selected for her, a nice little number that I'd noticed whilst shopping for her groceries the Sunday previous. Cute, but still capable of blocking a fair amount of sunlight, and it came with a small dagger hidden in the handle, to ward off any ruffians. I've had one too many run-ins to NOT prepare for that sort of foolery.

With a soft groan that escaped his lips as he stretched in his bed, Sou slowly started to rise up, but the weight he didn't noticed at first had stopped him. Shin had been hugging onto his waist as they slept. All Sou could think of was that it probably was cold last night. It was un-normal for them to share a bed, they have done it since birth, but the only time they would lay hugging close was when it was cold out or neither of them could sleep. A smile perked upon Sou's lips as he patted his brothers head, combing his fingers into his hair.

"Hmm, stop moving." Shin pulled the covers over his head and rolled over onto his side of the bed going back to sleep.

Sou raised an eyebrow at Shin's actions, then glanced over at what time it was. It was still early, maybe even almost noon. He lifted his arms over his head and crossed his legs, sitting up criss crossed in the bed he reached over, slipping on his glasses and pulling his hair back into a ponytail. With a slight whistling tune he got up off the bed slipping on his slippers, he reached around the bed pulling down the bed drapes so that his brother wouldn't be bothered with the light. After that he opened his curtains and pushed the windows wide open to let in fresh air, his tone of song changed as he opened the balcony door.

"It's a lovely day out Shii-Shii." Sou leaned against the balcony watching the clouds. "I wonder what twisted things you would put us in today." Chuckling Sou peeked back inside the room. "Oh! I know brother!" tip toeing he climbed back inside bed and grabbed onto Shin's body with a body hug. "Don't ignore me! Or this time I will bite you." An evil smirk appeared on his lips.

"Aghh" Shin groaned loudly pushing Sou off him gently. "Be quiet! It was cold last night! I couldn't sleep a damn bit! Unlike you I can't sleep in this shitty cold mansion! Gah! Why must you be so persistent in the mornings." Using his I am going to kill you voice, yet he sounded as if he was about to fall back asleep too.

Chuckling Sou hugged onto Shin again. "No wonder you hate the cold, you are already made of ice, any colder and you get so moody!"

Shin gave up and finally drifted off back to sleep ignoring what Sou said just a moment ago.

Sighing lightly Sou rested his head on his brother's back and stared at the little light that peeked in through the cracks of the drapes. "Well I could always just torture sweet ol-Eugene."

The sounds of the birds started to seem like singing and you could hear the water fountain just outside in the dead garden. The only thing that looked alive in this place was the sunlight and the working fountain, other than that, the plants were black, the frass was gray, and the house even looked old, the paint as faded and started to peal off and turn a grayish black. the inside of the house has blood red wall paper that is starting to look like the outside of the house. But unlike the outside the house inside is a bit clean, apart from the old furniture and stair railing. It was as if the life of the house had died and the people of the house was no longer there, but that wasn't the case, because the brothers still lived there, they just haven't changed anything. Or maybe it's just they couldn't change anything. Well what ever it maybe, the house looks like ruins. and the plan on no changes. Kind of reminds you of a house that belongs to the dead.

Eugene glanced at the clock in the kitchen as he went about his duties. This time of day was his favourite. It was quiet and peaceful, and he was free to go about his chores at his own leisure. His masters rarely awoke before midday, which gave him the morning to have time for himself. In the kitchen, he was just finishing up. He'd spent the morning tidying up - sweeping floors and dusting, and son on. They were chores that he was sure the brothers didn't notice him doing, but he did them, nevertheless. The morning was warm and bright, and Eugene had opened the windows to allow the fresh morning air to permeate the large kitchen. The scent of breakfast wafted through the large kitchen.

Eugene glanced down at the tray as he loaded it with eggs and toast, and other items of breakfast. It was the same as usual, but he liked to try and do his best for them. With the loaded tray, Eugene took a breath, and gathered up his thoughts. He'd been working for his masters for a while now, and though he was accustomed to their teasing of him, Eugene still couldn't help but feel nervous before seeing them. Of course, that was all a part of their game - but Eugene liked to please them. Before hefting the heavy tray, he glanced at himself in the mirror to make sure that he was tidy.

He was dressed smartly, as always, in tidy black jeans and a plain white button up shirt, with just a few of the buttons at the top undone in an attempt to combat the heat of the morning. His eyes stared back at him, uncertain, but determined, and full of anticipation for this mornings meetings with the brothers. Eugene nodded to himself, and then turned and picked up the tray, before precariously carrying it through the large house to his masters' bedroom.

Eugene was quick and well practised with carrying the tray, and didn't spill a drop of the tea as he might once have done. His steps were silent and careful, walking with an upright posture. He reached their door promptly, and paused outside. From within he could hear the murmurings of their conversation, and he knocked gently.

"Um...Good morning, sirs. I've brought breakfast. May I come in?" Eugene's voice was light and innocent, though there was a slight playful undertone, quietly interrupting their conversation.

As Alistair grabbed her hand with his fingers, Hanako's face became as red as a freshly-picked strawberry. Her glasses became so fogged, she could no longer see out of them, so she had to peer out above them to the best of her ability if she wished to gaze upon her master. She hated how nervous he made her and she wasn't entirely sure why that was. Was it his looks? The way he spoke? The softness he showed her? Or could it be that she knew he had a short temper? Hanako had been around short-tempered men before and it never ended well for her. Her job as a servant was one she took because it was the only thing she was really good at. That and the fact that she had no where else to go.

The last job as a servant she had was one of brutality. She still has scars from the lashings she received from her former master. Unfortunately, she was forced into servitude under him due to her mother's feelings for the man. Outwardly, he seemed kind, caring, and a generous person. But on the inside, he was a manipulative villain who was only toying with the emotions of Hanako's mother. Though she was just a girl, maybe 8 years old, if she fumbled or messed up a task, she was whipped. Her scars are along her back and front, in places normally covered by clothing so no one would see. Hanako still kept this all a secret from Alistair. Perhaps to either keep her from reliving the experience more than she already does, or perhaps to prevent him from getting any ideas. Hanako felt in her heart that Alistair would never be so brutal, but her mother thought the same of her master. And the end result was in a stoning that killed her.

Alistair popped the skittle into Hanako's mouth after he carefully pulled her lower lip down. She graciously chewed the sweet candy and swallowed it. With a bow, she thanked him. When she rose, she noticed he had turned away from her and walked to the rail of the yacht. Her heart sank slightly. Had she done something wrong? Was she boring him? His orders brought her out of her thoughts.
"Bring me the phone, would you, Hanako?" Hanako jumped slightly at the sudden request. She had been lost in thought again, but she nodded, bowing again.
"Y-Yes! Of course, Master." With that, the girl scuttled away in search of the object her master had asked for. Within a few, short minutes, the shy girl returned giving a low bow and offering him the phone.
"Your phone, s-sir!"

Sou perked up, the moment he was just thinking of the boy, he comes a knocking at their door. "It's as if he is sired to us my dear brother." Patting Shin's butt softly, he got up and walked over to the door. As he opened the door his eyes fell from the boys eyes straight to the open of his shirt. "Seducing me already so early in the morning? What a wonderful breakfast." Sou's twisted seducing smirk as he licked his lips, leaning against the door, leaving enough space for Eugene to walk in through.

"Agh,... What is wrong with you two?!" Shin grumbled as he sat up in the bed holding his head down so he could hide his face from the bright light that shined in the room. Unlike his brother Shin was never one to get up early, and he was very moody, it was hard to please him in any way. "You Butler!" Not lifting his head he pointed at the boy as if he was a dog. "Cleaning? Really? You know I hate the smell of the cleaning products! If you insist on cleaning, why don't you clean me instead." Shin leaned back on one hand into the shade of the bed's drapes. The shirt he wore had tears in it with purple and black stripes. A few of the tears showed his pale skin through it. His hair was a bit the same way. But it fit him, matching his dark personality and torn soul.

Chuckling at his brother Sou closed the door and walked over to the balcony. Leaning against the stone rail of the balcony now, he played with the rim of his glaces thinking, while staring off into the distance. "You know I was thinking. Why don't we fix this place up? His red eyes wandered over the house and dead area. Sure he didn't mind it, but the smell of rotting plants was starting to make it unbearable to live in the house.

Shin glanced from Eugene to Sou. "What the hell for? Looks fine how it is." He didn't give to shits about the place in honest truth, if his brother was willing to move he would be out of the house in less than two seconds. If it was up to him he would live the life of an old rich vampire or something like that. In a gothic home style, like a victorian home with death calling in each wall of the house.

"Shin, my dear brother. It smells like the dead around here, it is high time he touch things up. Can't live like this forever, you know this." Sou smiled over at Eugene. "You are apart of this family, so tell me, what are your thoughts on the idea. Do be honest now."

Shin made a cold lick of his tongue when Sou considered the Butler as a family member. With the roll of his eyes he laid back down in the bed onto his side, closing his eyes.

Felicia looked at the parasol Darius held. Where on earth had he been hiding that? The parasol was undeniably feminine, cute would be a wonderfully accurate word to describe the appearance of the parasol. Felicia looked out the window. It seemed to be a pleasant enough day and Felicia doubted Darius would let the point drop until she went outside. She took the parasol from him and twirled it around like a baton before bringing it to rest on her shoulder.

"If I didn't know any better, I'd say this was an attempt to get me to dress more like a girl," Felicia said, looking down at her shirt and trousers, the waistcoat could wait, she wasn't going anywhere, "But then I remember, you're not my father and I do know better, so I have nothing to worry about. Until tonight." She added under her breath, making her way to the library.

To describe her personal library as vast was something of an understatement. Over the years, Felicia had become something of a bibliophile. She'd read most of the books in her collection, but that was what happened when you had as much time on your hands as Felicia did. It also highlighted the beauty of books. She could walk into a bookstore and be guaranteed to find a book she had never seen before. Books were so good for the imagination. Felicia propped the parasol up on a bookcase, climbing a little way up the ladder, leaning over to find the book she was searching for. The faded gold font of a red leather book caught her attention and she pulled it from the shelf. She gave the cover a cursory glance before climbing back down to terra firma. Tucking the book under her arm she gathered the parasol and made her way to the garden.

Felicia wasn't much of a botanist, but he could admire the skill that went into creating and maintaining such a garden. Money had definitely been spent here, but not to the extent that it was horrendously ostentatious. Felicia crossed her legs, resting the book against them, holding the parasol up to block the sunlight. It wasn't that she didn't like the sunlight, she just liked the way she looked when she was pale. She didn't suit a tan. And a tan meant that you had to change whatever colour scheme it was that you had going just to suit your temporary complexion. Tans were more trouble than they were worth.

"You can sit down you know Darius," She said, not entirely sure if Darius was still around, but she was fairly certain he was, "You don't have to stand to attention all the time."

I bowed upon her permission, then sat down on a decorative rock, pulling out a small pocketbook with the words Tao Te Ching embossed in gold on the cover and opening it to read. However, halfway into the first sentence, a dumb idea burst into my head, and unlike other dumb ideas, which I tended to keep to myself, force back into my mind, and beat until they realize the error of their ways, this one felt, and I hate to use the old adage... JUST stupid enough to work.
"Miss Felicia," I said, putting my book down and standing up once again, "I believe I may have a solution to your problem about your father asking marriage." I waited until she gave permission to continue, then said, "Your father explicitly said he didn't care who you married, and I know for a fact you do not wish to have to put up with any potential suitors who would either show up on their own accord or through your father. So my solution is simple. You and I marry. I already look after you, know your likes and dislikes, and have no real desire to see any friction between you and your father because of a silly outdated worldview. The marriage would be purely for your benefit, life for us would continue on as normal, and if someone came along who you fancied, I could instantly step aside for them... And I must say, this idea is sounding sillier and sillier as I say it. Forget it, it was an idea made on a whim." I went back to my book, now actually curious as to whether or not something as silly as that would work. For God's sake, it sounded like something directly out of a bad romantic comedy.

Felicia looked up at the mention of her name. "I believe I may have a solution to your problem about your father asking marriage," Felicia gently folded her book closed, curious as to Darius's plan.

"Go on."

"Your father explicitly said he didn't care who you married, and I know for a fact you do not wish to have to put up with any potential suitors who would either show up on their own accord or through your father. Forget it, it was an idea made on a whim."

Felicia nodded trying to process what Darius had just proposed. She looked at Darius. His words were true enough, whether or not marriage would work between them was another matter entirely. The entire thing was utter madness, wasn't it? Darius himself had already dismissed the idea. Felicia returned to her book although she found she couldn't really concentrate on it, mulling the whole marriage thing over in her head, "I'll bear your proposal in mind Darius." She heard herself say. She thought about what she just said, "I didn't mean for it to sound like that, I meant I'll keep the idea in mind, not the idea that you would be proposing, which would be strange, like you said. And I'm just going to stop talking now," She said, feeling her cheeks heating up as she returned to her book.

Re: Copper and Gold

So...is this dead?

Re: Copper and Gold

Hey all,
I know I mentioned that I would jump in on this one, but I think I'm going to have to resign myself. Sorry!

Re: Copper and Gold

Made my first post! :D

Re: Copper and Gold

Hi all. So...apologies for the unexpected delay. I've been quite ill for the past couple of weeks, and had to spend some time away from RPGate, meaning I was unable to let anyone know. I'm really sorry about not being able to get anyone a message.

So, as you may have noticed, I've put up a first post, and feel free to post as you want to from now!

@RPGNerdette - Sure, I've made the switch :D Thanks, Merpy :)

Re: Copper and Gold

Yes, but as I had said. This is not your R.P. And starting it without asking is rude. Also, there is still people who didn't even make their character profile yet. Along with people who want to switch partners. Starting a R.P without it being ready is bad manners. Just because you are impassent and want to start already. Don't get me wrong though, I understand completely. I loath waiting.

Re: Copper and Gold

Ville, the last one almost didn't kick off because no one was posting. It's better to get the ball rolling rather than let it collect dust.

Re: Copper and Gold

Sorry about the delay everyone. Lorawr hasn't been on for a while. Just hang in there a little longer.

I am sure she will be back soon enough.

As for those of you who started Posting. Don't you find it a bit rude to post on a R.P, that isn't even yours, without the GM's permission? Sure she hasn't started it, but for all you know, she had a plan for this R.P. You shouldn't start on someone else's R.P without a say so. :P Not trying to sound like the bad guy here but if you want to start a R.P, make one yourself.

If it was me and someone started posting on my R.P without me saying it is ok, I'd be a bit pissed. XD just saying.

Re: Copper and Gold

It wouldn't bother me. Go right ahead.

Re: Copper and Gold

Is it possible to switch servants with Merpy so I can be with you, Lorawr? :) like we were in the other one?

Re: Copper and Gold

I see that all the spots are reserved but if one of the Female Servants become available I would gladly fill it, If you'd have me.

Re: Copper and Gold

We could start the roleplay now if we reset the current masters and servants we have, That way we don't have to wait for our original servants/masters.
For example, master 6 could partner up with servant 3. I don't know, it's just an idea :P

Re: Copper and Gold

I know I got my character in, but I just wanted to let everyone know that as of right now, my laptop won't turn on, so I may or may not be off until next week when I can get it and the charger fixed.

Re: Copper and Gold

I'm sorry that my character has not been submitted yet. I've been a bit tied up with other matters. My app will come 7 hours after this post at the latest.

Re: Copper and Gold

@Thundergod - XD No worries. It's all sorted now, so I'll make the necessary changes on the intro

Re: Copper and Gold

WOW. That is why we don't post in sleep dep.

Re: Copper and Gold

AMEN to that, Ville! Although in my case, it's less an incapacity to read it and more annoyance at why it was thought a good idea in the first place. But yeah, me, phoenixheart, pairings, all that fun stuff. I'll send in Darius' sheet now.

@Lorawr So let me get this straight, and if this seems rude, it is because it's 2:37 here, and emotion has given way to blase common sense. Even though both me and Phoenix were paired off in R&R(And had requested that we pair together here), and there was a perfectly good Servant 6 for Inspiration, you decided that I would have to split off anyway? I mean, at least phoenix and Alkali(I didn't mean to sound rude about your font size either, btw, but again, I've lost patience for emotion today, so I apologize) were able to find a solution, but that seems like something even I could have figured out, and I spent three years on the Ocarina of Time Water Temple because I never thought to look at my map and make the connection of a lower floor in the middle pillar.

Re: Copper and Gold

During POSTING, Id like to ask everyone to NOT use small font please. I cant read it and my Zoom doesnt work on my computer. So if you could Do Not use small font.

Re: Copper and Gold

Oh, sorry. I didn't know that they were already all reserved before I asked. If any spots open however, I would be glad to fill it.

Re: Copper and Gold

May I reserve for Servant 6 please?

Re: Copper and Gold

I'm fine with it! c:
