ღ Full Name ღ
Deanna Chanel Devereux

ღ Nickname(s) ღ
"Don't really need to explain why I'm called Dytto, my dancing and the history behind that is enough. But my favorite of all the nicknames aside from Dytto is D-Mac. A bunch of guys and I along with a few girls were hanging out after a video game session, and because I can eat like a football player, I ordered two big macs, a medium fry and a sweet tea. And I crushed that shit. I don't go to McDonalds all the time, but when I do, best believe that I get a Big Mac, regardless of whatever the rest of the order is. So, the nickname just kinda stuck."

"Funny story - my step-sister thinks I'd molest her ass in her sleep. Biiiiihhhh, please! But I do like girls. And guys. I like people - as long as you're a person, my damn-dat-ass-is-fine radar will be going off."
Pansexual

ღ Relationship Status ღ
"Shame me all you want, but I don't normally do relationships. I can admit it, I'm a possessive bitch and the second I claim you're mine, that's it. Period, point blank - mine. And since I'm not...comfortable with feeling that way, I make sure that I don't have to. Not like I've never had a boyfriend or girlfriend - had one guy during middle school that honestly should not count, and I've dated two girls outside of school. Just not my cup of tea. I do sex, though, and I fucking love it. No strings attached, no need to get all attached and ish. Though...well, it's not like I haven't been looking."

ღ Clique ღ
"I may be on the cheer team, but I've been at Crossroads since the beginning and I'll always ride hard for the Artists. Honestly, for the B level as a whole. We're literally the fucking coolest kids in the school."
Artist

ღ Scholarship or Not? ღ
"As much as I respect Bernard and appreciate what he does do for me, I came to this school a scholarship student and call it my stubborn streak, but I refused to let some rich mofo think he was coming in and saving me with his billions. I have worked for and to maintain this scholarship and I bear that title proudly."

ღ Body Shape ღ
"Gotta appreciate these Italian and French genes. I'm not the curviest chick on the block, but I've got bigger boobs than my step-sister and I have a small, but perky bubble butt. I can appreciate that."
Pear

ღ Eye Color ღ
Electric blue

ღ Skin Tone ღ
Creamy and fair

ღ Hair: Color || Type || Length ღ
"My own favorite feature, as if all of me isn't just gorgeous. I love my hair, specifically my curls. Couldn't tame them for shit when I was younger but now? My hair is probably my favorite accessory. It'll take me a gazillion years, but I'll straighten it and last I checked, my hair fell to the middle of my back. A bit proud of that growth and with the products Bernard bought me, my hair is crazy soft and I'm in love."
Long and naturally curly, Dytto's chestnut brown mane is a never-ending and can't-be-tamed mass of thick, lustrous curls. On most days, she leaves her hair as is, the curls small and defined, but it's volume only being slightly contained by the snapback or hair-tie she just so happened to place in it that morning. However, upon straightened, her hair follows the smooth line of her back in a sleek waterfall of nothing but brown silk. It just so happens that that is typically too much work for her and she would prefer leaving her hair in its natural state.

ღ Tattoos? Piercings? Distinguishing Marks? ღ
"Call me a bitch, if you will, but the only piercings I have right now are the ones in my ears from when I was a baby and my nose stud. Not gangster enough for a tattoo. But I do have a few freckles along my back that my mom said is some stupid constellation, but whatever. There's also a few freckles on my shoulders, but a light sprinkle on my face around my nose and under my eyes when I don't have on makeup. I only wear a little makeup to begin with, but those freckles are so light that they're easily covered."

ღ Fashion Sense ღ
Indeed, her favorite color may be pink and she may be more accustomed now to more expensive brands of clothing, but Dytto will never be a girly girl and that sometimes reflects in her outfit choices. It probably didn't help her cause back in the day when people would comment on her having no curves or not being that cute considering the fact that Dytto's style had always been urban and tomboyish. It still is, to be quite honest. She has also just learned to be a bit more feminine in her outfits. While she has a deep love for jeans and Doc Martens or Timberlands, her Timbs might very well have a heel to them and she has a deeper love for crop tops now. She keeps her nails on point as long as they don't interfere with her cheer routines. Her curls are more defined and less frizzy. A constant will forever be her snapbacks. There are times when Dytto might seem girlier than the day before, but trust and believe the urban tomboy style is reminiscent in her every day ensemble. She has just learned - due to an increase in her confidence and sense of self - to add a bit of a fem charm that does not compromise her comfortable wear.

ღ Overall Attractiveness ღ
"I may like to hang with the boys, but I'm cute as fuck and no one can tell me otherwise. Not when your boyfriend's been staring at my chest for the last five minutes. I mean, you have too, but I didn't wanna call you out or anything."
9/10

ღ Personality ღ
Dytto had always been a bit of a force to be reckoned with, even as a child. It was one of the reasons why her mother and step-father purchased the home that they did; they needed something that would be luxurious enough to garner attention, but also something that would keep Dytto active. Not that it kept her grounded or at home because if you asked anyone, Dytto is a bit of a wild child. It fits the image she has constructed just before high school. After years of physical and emotional abuse by her peers in elementary and part of middle school, Dytto hardened the sweet girl she was before - the Deanna inside - and molded herself into a smart-mouthed, tough, flirty, and competitive badass that takes no shit from anyone. She has the capacity to be a leader, that much a lot of people know. Her fellow cheerleaders have acknowledged this the most. After all, Dytto would never be considered a follower. She's too unwilling to adhere to anyone else's rules other than her own. Granted, Dytto knows the rules of life and understands she's not the queen of the world. However, since she was a child her mother grilled into her a sense of self-confidence that enables her the ability to not bow down to anyone, no matter how bitchy or high-maintenance they may seem. In fact, she'd probably tell that person off and not give a damn who heard her. After all, who does she have to fear? A lot of the elite girls she knows, particularly like her step-sister, are more catty and willing to spread rumors; the woman Dytto is now will gladly fight with her attitude, vain bravado (since she has to pump up a bit of cockiness to fully embrace her confidence), words and fists if necessary.

Over the years, Dytto went through a development that cultivated a stronger sense of self and confidence. As a child, she had never been allowed to fight the girls and guys who made digs at her and made her middle school years hell, so when she finally had time to herself to get ready for high school, Dytto refused to allow herself to ever be vulnerable. Around the same time of her bullying was her parents' divorce and the discovery of her mother's affair, which solidified Dytto's inability to do romantic relationships. Sex has always easy for her. She can do that. It's never really a walk-of-shame for her. She's not a slut; she doesn't wake up every night with a new guy. That's not in her. But she likes sex and she does it well, and when she finds someone who does as well, why not explore that? They might have great chemistry. She's also the type to simply have fun and chill out, but that can be discussed later. The big thing is that anything deeper than a friends-with-benefits endeavor leaves her wary and even more closed-off. It terrifies her. If the happy marriage she thought she saw with her parents couldn't last and the amount of long-lasting relationships in the world ending, what would make her believe that anyone would ever want that with her? Granted, a good chunk of this stems from being told in middle school that no one would ever truly want her and she's since then forged herself into a bit of a tease - something to be touched, but never cherished. And Dytto contends to this personification of sex and closes herself off when feelings arise, or at least, she tries to. The issue with Dytto is that while she is the one who seems the most open and the easiest to read, she's not. She's far more closed off and sensitive than she allows for people to know.

What ends up surprising most people is the girl Dytto can be once you take away the performing and the defenses - the girl who has actually inspired people despite the image she wants to have. As a girl who has always been book smart and a bit street smart, Dytto's intelligence is typically a surprise, but not as much as her compassion and her ability to care. She doesn't spend unnecessary money. Sure, she does shop every now and then; she will gladly admit that girlier side of her. She's also one who could do movie nights and play video games with the guys, and have low-key hang-out sessions with friends. She's the one who will shake her ass in the middle of her choreography on stage, but will also gladly stick up for another student who is bullied under the guise that watching them quiver their lips like a little bitch is annoying. She is the one who looks out for her family, even when they don't believe that she is or that she even cares about them, and will gladly cut a bitch off if they come off for someone she cares about. While it is rare for her to be vulnerable around people unless they are closer friends, and even rare during those times, she is still loyal. Even if someone calls her a slut or even a bit of a bitch, the one thing they can say is that she does have her priorities and as they always have been, close friends and family are her number one priorities. Them and having fun.

ღ Greatest Joys in Life ღ
It's probably safe to say that Dytto's greatest joy in life is being able to dance. She's renowned, particularly in Los Angeles but in various scenes around the world, as Dytto, host and model who hosts a music show for World of Dance called The Drop. As a dancer, she displays her unique styles of popping, animation, robotting, tutting, and finger tutting. She has always felt passionate about dancing and she is literally always moving, going so far as finger tutting in class when she's simply bored. Her next greatest joy is honestly having fun and enjoying life. While some people find joy in the superficial, Dytto finds joy in simply being in good company and being young adults. Even if some times her quests for fun are a bit reckless.

ღ Greatest Fears ღ
Dytto is a natural-born and trained dancer - a choreographer. A bright one at that. Her greatest fear would be becoming paralyzed or any physical situation that causes her to be unable to dance. It would literally destroy her. As much as her mother instilled an actual enjoyment of learning, it was her emotional connection to having something that brought her somewhat closer to her estranged father - dance - that is literally her life line. She's already made a career out of it outside of school. If she couldn't dance anymore, Dytto might honestly never find true satisfaction in life and it terrifies her to lose her purpose. Her other greatest fear, even a bit more than losing her mother though that itself is a powerful fear, is not ever being truly wanted. Once high school started and puberty officially decided to bless her just a little, Dytto has been wanted. Dytto is fun and flirtatious and sexy. But Deanna - the sweeter girl she was a few years back - never was, or at least, in her eyes, she never was. And that scares her - the idea that she'll always be wanted for a good time, but never anything more than that.

ღ Clubs? Sports? ღ
From the second she entered Crossroads Academy, Dytto was on the dance team. However, once her popularity outside of the school grew exponentially and she became a host on World of Dance, she wanted something different. She was becoming more known and after being bullied during those younger years, she wanted to be stronger. Tougher. And to piss people off - which turned into her joining the cheerleading team. She didn't make captain like a lot of her fellow cheerleaders still want, but Dytto's satisfied with being involved with gymnastics and tumbling again. That makes her dancing better. She's also a member of the National Honor Society and the Anime Club.

ღ History ღ
Most people tend to think that there was never a moment where Deanna wasn't this outspoken and daring young woman with the sex appeal that would rival some of the greatest icons, but there was definitely a defining moment in her life. And there was also a point that she was just a regular sweet girl with a dream and a naivety to be rivalled with. That was before her mother married Bernard Arnault. Deanna had simply been the daughter of up and coming luxury brand fashion designer, Amelia Devereux, and Millennial Dance Complex instructor, Lorenzo Albertini. Lorenzo's lessons were always jam-packed and a few notable celebrities who had to prepare for dance films or simply attended them raved about him, but the real breadwinner was Amelia. At a young age, Amelia was privy to the mounting tension between her parents. The shouting matches, the thrown dishes, and occasional bruises - she knew all about them. Had witnessed them. Definitely not the healthiest environments to grow up in, but surely school was an escape. She was a smart girl with all of her teachers talking about how well she would be as her educational experience was broadened. She was attending one of the most prestigious and expensive schools on the west coast. And she was miserable. Granted, she was doing more than some of the other rich kids. Deanna's escape from everything - the both sometimes physical but definitely verbal bullying from her peers, her parents' failing marriage, the knowledge that her mother was having an affair, the fact that her father only cared when she had on ballet slippers - was dance. And she was gaining attention for it. She had seen online in various choreographers' routines as one of the youngest on dance teams. She was on an all-star cheer team outside of Crossroads and on a dance team at the complex her father worked at and at Crossroads.

However, she was getting the heaviest critiques, not from Hollywood and those who would late catapult her career, but by the peers she spent a good chunk of her time with. Deanna didn't develop until the ladder part of middle school, so she had always been really skinny. Her lips were too big for her face, same as her eyes, and her curls were Hermione Granger's original mess of a head. She would get bullied constantly, being told that she wasn't particularly pretty and even worse by the richer students who thought her mother's brand would never become anything bigger than it was. That her dancing wasn't going to get her anywhere. There had been one time she was locked in a dark closet for nearly an hour before her claustrophobia caused her to pass out. At the time, her mother didn't see that Deanna was really struggling with the girls and told her to suck it up. They were just jealous and she shouldn't worry. However, the bullying escalated to physical torment and at the same time, her mother's affair was brought to the forefront. Deanna was about ten, her father was leaving with a false promise to always be around, and suddenly she was going to have a new step-father and step-sister.

And Deanna didn't take moving into her new home, despite Bernard's attempts to win her affection with material goods, well. In fact, once she turned thirteen, the little girl who was getting bullied refused to allow anyone to do anything to her anymore. Actually, not even her mother could do anything to her. Deanna would simply throw in her face that her new-found love was nothing but trashy scandal like one of the sitcoms she loved to watch. So, she turned to her dance and embraced the wild side. As she constantly tells everyone, she never shot anything in her blood stream and the most she has ever smoked was weed, but she definitely made a rep for herself as a party girl. Hell, she even threw parties whenever Amelia and Bernard weren't home. At Bernard's insistence (for which Deanna did begin to show a bit of gratefulness) Deanna was allowed to quit the school dance team and distance herself from those whom she has acknowledged now as nothing more than haters, which only enforced her loud lifestyle and allowed her the freedom to dance more outside of the school, and was even trained in kickboxing Of course, she would get grounded, Amelia gave lectures, and Lorenzo (upon Amelia's consistent insistence considering the fact that he flitted in and out of their lives like the summer breeze) called to check in on her and make sure she understood what she was doing, but that was the point - she did know what she was doing. Deanna was choosing not to be the same Deanna that was locked in a closet. Definitely not the one known as the nerdiest of the Artists. And definitely not the one everyone seemed to think they could walk all over. To put it plainly, she became Dytto.

It's not like the change in attitude, not to mention puberty's eventual presents, didn't gain her a few things. For one, Dytto has become a renowned Los Angeles based dancer. She hosts the World of Dance shows every year, models, and has even recently been featured on the Ellen DeGeneres show. Not to mention a few other accolades and mentions from celebrities and dancers alike. She gets to say she makes a bit of her own money and doesn't have to - though she does now that she fully appreciates his assistance - always depend on step-father's hefty allowances. Come high school, Dytto was a popular artist of Crossroads. She still threw parties and guys and girls alike give double takes at the sight of her plump, luscious lips and curves. Some are even intimidated by her. With the cheer team and even some of the dancers who used to have shit to say about her, she's garnered respect and admiration that Dytto eats up. She may have enemies now that she doesn't take anyone's mess, but they understand where she stands. She won't be taken advantage of. She has gained confidence. But it also cost her her ability to be that sweet girl that her closer friends would know her as. Dytto may seem energetic and ready for fun, but there was a gentleness in her that she now hides behind blunt bravado and nonchalant protectiveness. It cost her the ability to allow herself to be vulnerable enough to have meaningful relationships and to see that not everyone wants her to have sex. It cost her the ability to love without feeling like someone was going to take that love for advantage or not want her - all of her. It cost her a bit of being herself more, even if Dytto won't admit that to anyone.

Today was the first official day back on Crossroads Academy's campus, and there was an undeniable air of excitement and jitters on campus. Throughout the morning, cars had driven up the long driveway that led onto the campus, packed to the brink with parents, children, and suitcases filled with everything a teenager could need, only to be drive right back down it a little while later, empty, and usually with teary-eyed parents. It was nothing less than a tradition, and though many felt it was sad to see their parents go, most students did genuinely like Crossroads Academy. The fact that it was located right on the beautiful California coast played a part in it, and it possessing facilities nice enough to rival top colleges was a perk too, but the relationships made while at a boarding school were different than at many normal high schools. They were stronger, or that's what many of Crossroads' students would tell you, anyway.

Like the other dorm advisers on campus, Holly and Brian had spent their mornings acquainting themselves to parents and helping students move into their rooms. They had moved on campus a few days before, and though this meant that their summers were over too, they were both glad that the school year was starting. While Holly had worked as a dorm adviser for four years, and had acted as a dorm adviser for the girls she would be living with this year since they were freshman, Brian was new to this. He had been a faculty member for Crossroads for a year before, but this was the first year that he was going to be a dorm adviser. Life circumstances combined with knowing that his paycheck would look even better if he was a dorm adviser had led him to accepting the additional position, and though he was excited, he was understandably nervous as well. He knew that this position would require him to take on an extra level of responsibility and respect for rules and guidelines, but he also knew that he had to be understanding enough to get a bunch of teenage boys to like him... or at least trust him. It was going to be an interesting experience, that much he was sure of, but he didn't have much time to worry during the morning, as he really had been busy helping kids move in. He was grateful that he had been assigned a senior dorm, only because that meant that there were slightly less parents involved. Senior students were allowed to have cars on campus, and that meant that in some cases, for those who had cars, they were driving themselves onto campus and there were a few less introductions that Brian was forced through. In the girls dorm, Holly was experiencing a similar thing, but by now she knew most of her girls' parents, and for her, introductions were welcomed anyway. She was friendly and bubbly, and far too used to this to be bothered by the first-day events.

While Brian helped some students in 3C of Chase move into their dorm, Holly was on the second floor of Wright Hall. Most of the dormitory room doors were open, with girls coming in and out as they either helped each other move into their rooms, moved into their own rooms, or were in and out socializing. She skimmed the sheet of paper in her hand that listed which room each girl was in, and once she found the name that she had starred, she headed towards dormitory room 2B. The girl's dorm had one new student this year, and Holly thought that it was best that she introduce herself and make sure that the new student, Emma, was getting settled in all right. The door to get into the dormitory was open, so Holly gently pushed it open and entered the common space of the four bedroom dorm. "Girls, is Emma here yet?" Holly called out, unsure if Emma was there herself, or if the other girls rooming there, London, Dytto or Farrah would be there. She knew the other three girls from acting as an adviser to them for the past three years, so introductions there were unnecessary, though she was glad to be back with them as well.

LONDON WELLINGTON
Image Image

London thrived at school, so coming back after summer was never something that she dreaded. Her Instagram feed made it look like she had the perfect summer, and it definitely was a good one (who could complain about bouncing from New York, to Paris, to Barcelona for most of it?) but it wasn't as perfect as it probably appeared. London's family life was a unique one, mostly because her parents had always been fairly detached. They weren't unloving or anything, but they were devoted to the international company they ran, and had seemed to think that London was mentally an adult since she was eleven or twelve, and that they didn't need to be very involved in her upbringing. Over the summer, she had seen her mother twice, and her father only through Skype, and to them, it was nothing but normal. They weren't parents who thought that it was necessary to push aside business meetings to fly out to California to help her move in. Instead, they had a car service drive her belongings to the school while she drove her Range Rover there separately. She didn't need their physical help moving in because she had friends and followers for that, but still, even a girl who could be labeled as heartless as London sometimes was craved an actual relationship with her parents on days like this. Is was hard not to when you had to watch almost every other kid in the building get tearful farewell hugs from their mom and dad. Suppressing her feelings was something that she was good at though, so she did well at acting unfazed by it all, and focusing on how amazing this senior year was going to be. Her dorm placement wasn't ideal in terms of roommates, but she had gotten the bedroom location that she wanted, so that was a plus. Besides, her roommates weren't... horrible. She had Dytto Devereux, Farrah Hart, and Emma Buxton as roommates. London had been the first of the four to arrive, and had been completely moved in by nine-thirty. Rather than sitting around all morning and having to deal with being introduced to the other three girls' parents, if they were coming to drop them off, she left the suite and headed to the junior girls' dorm, where she had a few minion-type girls that she wanted to catch up with.

Katherine was running late (as usual), and in the midst of hanging out with her younger friends, she hadn't had a moment to check in with Esper to see if she was on campus, until around eleven o'clock, when she headed back to Wright. She sent out two text messages on her walk back: one to Esper, reading, "Hey girly are you on campus yet?!" and another to Katherine, reading, "You told me you were going to be here an hour ago, Kitty! Location update needed ASAP!" With the knowledge that Katherine was supposed to share a dormitory room with Esperanza, London had a feeling that it would be best for her to hang around the two girls while they moved in... just in case. She trusted her girls with being civil, but she was still very aware of the fact that her two best friends didn't seem to like each other as much as she liked them. It was unfortunate, but because they both seemed to suck it up when London was around, she rarely had to concern herself with it very much. She was planning on heading straight to their dorm room, but as she passed by her own, she noticed that the front door was cracked open, which meant that some of the other girls had to have moved in by now. She was still tempted to keep walking, but as Queen Bee, it felt necessary to greet the girls she was going to be living with, if for no other reason than to remind them that she was still at the top this year. Especially considering the current dilemma she was facing with Dytto, and not knowing who Emma Buxton was, she headed into her dorm room and smiled when she saw Holly in front room. The senior girls had been blessed getting Holly again as their adviser, because she really acted more like an older sister to them than anything else. It was easy to get away with anything with Holly, even though most girls didn't actually like to abuse that, just because she was so cool. She had walked in a few seconds too late to hear Holly's question about Emma, so she greeted her normally with a, "Hey, Holly. Oooh, aren't you looking all tan and summery!? Did you stay in Cali all summer?"

"Oh, hey, London," Holly chirped, caught off guard for a moment at a voice coming from behind. She spun around halfway to greet the blonde with a genuine smile. A chuckle escaped at the girl's compliment. She had been trying to get a base tan this summer, but unfortunately, she was the type of person who burned more than they did tan. The compliment was appreciated nonetheless, though. "I tried, I tried," she admitted, before nodding. "Yep, I've been around all summer. I'm sure you went on some wild adventures? Probably more exciting than mine," she continued. While there were a fair amount of scholarship students at Crossroads who came from middle or lower class families, a lot of the students were from very wealthy ones, and many of them had passports that were ten times more full than her own, despite her being double their age. "I want to hear all about it, but is your roommate Emma here? She's a new student this year and I want to make sure that she's getting settled in."

"I'm not actually sure," London admitted with a careless shrug. "I was the only one who was here a few hours ago, and I haven't been back since now, so I don't know who actually is here yet either." If Holly had not been there, she probably would have went into her bedroom at that and waited for the other girls to actually come out of their bedrooms to greet them, because she definitely wasn't that friendly innately, but with Holly standing there, she felt the need to seem a little bit more friendly. She chose bedroom B as the door to knock on, knowing that it was the only coveted bedroom aside form hers, given the views that those two offered. She wouldn't have been surprised if it was Farrah who opened the door, because she was an A-lister as well, and therefore, deserved the nicer room, but if it was Dytto or the new girl, she was going to be a little bit surprised at the nerve they had to claim the nice room. She had taken the nicest one, of course, so it didn't directly affect her, but it would still be a good reflection of just who she was dealing with this year.

Theme Song ღ Bedroom: X, X, X ღ Mood: Disinterested ღ Outfit ღ Location: Wright Hall, Second Floor

"All I'm saying, sweetie, is that you could've waited for Bernard," Amelia Arnault exclaimed, frustrated, as she spread the furry duvet at the foot of her daughter's bed. The teen in question, with her back facing her mother as she set up various photos and trinkets on the shelves of her armory, rolled her eyes. "And I'm just saying that if I actually waited for Bernard, I would be waiting for Katherine and she might not have made it to the school if I did that." Was her retort, spoken calmly enough to not seem fazed by her step-sister's attitude from earlier, but with enough contempt laced in her voice that her own frustration was noted. Not that that did her anything. Dytto didn't have to turn around to note the disapproving stare her mother shot her; she could feel it digging into the back of her head.

In Dytto's head, and possibly in her mother's though the older woman was noted for trying to be understanding towards her step-daughter - and trying was the operative word when thinking about the spoiled little brat known as Katherine Arnault - she was not at fault here. Unlike Katherine, she had jumped up immediately when the housing selection began and chose her room - in fact, she had chosen her room before even London had. Which was the main reason why Katherine was upset. London had chosen a room in their dorm suite and because Katherine simply expected she was going to get the room that she wanted, she ended up choosing too late and the other two rooms had been taken. Upon that discovery, she had "anticipated" Dytto's acquiescence; obviously, the dancer was supposed to give up the space she had picked simply because Katherine demanded so. She must have forgotten who her step-sister was. A yelling match followed by Dytto's mother having to physically get in between the two, and Dytto had stormed off earlier that morning in her garnet Porsche Cayenne with Amelia following with a much larger truck to assist in moving Dytto into her dorm. She even decided to look extra cute, simply because she knew Katherine would have shit to say and she wanted to feel powerful. And nothing helped like a pair of stilettos that she was obviously gonna trade for a pair of high tops once classes started.

Luckily for her, since she honestly did not feel like pretending to ignore Farrah or even attempting to be nice to the new girl she heard was going to be moving in with them, no one had been present in the suite, so Dytto hurried to set up her bedroom. With the assistance of a few artists and cheerleaders, no doubt. She had picked up Starbucks for those who helped and it was only a few minutes ago that the others departed, each with their own drinks and Dytto in her mature taupe-grey themed bedroom that Kylie Jenner totally stole from her when she first said that that was her bedroom theme for the school year on social media. But of course, nobody was going to talk about that. "Deanna..." Her mom's pause was enough to make Dytto turn around, arms folded over her chest. Her long chestnut mane fell down her back in a sleek waterfall, one of her many snapbacks on top of her head. "I really wish you'd try a little harder to be patient. It's just a room." Dytto rolled her lightly-lined baby blues for the umpteenth time today and picked up her Venti Very Berry Hibiscus to take a long draw of the fruity beverage. "Yeah, well, you're right. It's just a room, my room at that, and if the brat wants to come to blows over it, you know that I don't mind. Might do her some good." Amelia sighed, as if still disapproving. What she couldn't stop, however, was the small smirk forming on her lips as she stood and crossed the room to her daughter. "I know you don't mind." Dytto smirked in response. "And neither do you."

Distantly, she heard what she thought was Holly's voice and a younger one, but with her door closed, Dytto didn't feel the need to strain her ears to decipher whose. She honestly did not care. She had not picked her room to be friends with people; it had been out of convenience. There was a particular view she wanted; this room had it. Even if two people she liked were in the other suite. She would just go over whenever she felt like it. "I'll go check to see if the boys need any help with that TV," Amelia said after a beat, touched Dytto's shoulder briefly, and headed to the door just as there was a knock. Dytto groaned and Amelia mouthed for her to behave before opening it, smiling at the blonde standing on the other side. "Oh, London, right!? Katherine'll be here soon, I believe. There was....a small hold up." Dytto rolled her eyes at her mother's need to explain herself and watched the older woman exit, walking up to the door so that she was standing directly in its frame. And to keep London from entering her space. Nathan was helping with getting her television from the truck and a few jocks needed to help, so Dytto wouldn't be surprised if they would arrive soon enough. "Yeah, she needed some daddy-and-me time or something like that," she added disinterestedly, drinking more of her beverage before noting Holly. A much more welcome presence. "Hey, Hollz!" The RA brightened up instantly when she caught sight of the brunette and walked over, hugging Dytto when the girl actually extended an arm. It took them a few years, but eventually, Dytto got used to showing the woman affection. It helped that she was pretty cool.

"I was wondering when you would get here, Miss World of Dance host," Holly replied and Dytto smilled, her straight white teeth showing from behind her plump, currently dark red lips. "Stop, stop...you're flattering me," she exclaimed before laughing at the woman she had teased. Holly laughed as well before gesturing to London. "It seems you two picked the best rooms in the suite. Isn't that a surprise?" Holly decided to bring up, as if wanting to begin some kind of dialogue between the two girls. Which Dytto didn't really want. Why should she? She and London weren't friends and as far as she was concerned, they weren't enemies either. No need to change shit just because they were roommates for the year. "Yeah, well, what can I say? I wanted the backdrop for dance videos." She said, pulling her IPhone 6 Plus from the pocket of her high-waisted skinny jeans in order to see where her friends were.

Much to her dismay, Katherine didn't have her license, so driving herself onto campus wasn't an option. She would have preferred to have walked to school over the option that she got, which was her father driving her there. It probably seemed dramatic, but it seemed like whenever Katherine was alone with her father, he was lecturing her about something. Today, it was on how she needed to start to mature and act "respectfully", that the world did not, in fact, revolve around her, and that this was the last year she had to act like a child before she was expected to enter the real world. College was going to be an important step for her, he said, and connections she made there would predict what her professional life looked like. It was all stuff that went in one ear and out the other, for one, because she wasn't even sure that she wanted to go to college. Academics were not her strong suit and she couldn't imagine having to spend four more years of failing exams and writing papers that got D's. Secondly, she knew that he was only saying this because of the argument she had gotten into with her step-sister, Dytto, a few hours before. Regardless of what the topic of the argument was, her father always seemed to side with Dytto. Katherine attributed it to him favoring her, and in her mind, that was a fact and not an opinion. She reasoned that he felt like he could treat Kat unfairly because she was his biological daughter, but he had to fight for a spot in Dytto's life since he was just her stepfather, and therefore, she was allowed to do whatever she wanted and get away with it, while Katherine caught hell for doing absolutely nothing wrong. Yeah... that was the reality of it all, in her mind, at least.

Today's argument had been one of the many where Katherine was sure that she was completely just in acting dramatic. Months ago, when Katherine was in New York, her father had called saying the dorm selections were available. She swears that she told him to put her down for the dormitory that London was in, but he counter claims that she told him she would deal with it when she got home. Well... regardless of what story was true, she never submitted anything, and was assigned to a random room. When Katherine realized this, it was too late, and now she knew that her situation was just not livable. She had been paired up with Eloise, who was decent, but then Natalya and Esperanza, who most definitely were not. After finding out that Dytto was dorming with London, Katherine demanded that her step-sister switch with her. Dytto had rejected Katherine's demand, but for some reason, Katherine was still sure that the girl was going to abide by it when the time came, so this morning when she was side swiped with the reality that she was, in fact, going to have to live with those girls, she could not handle it. Needless to say, Katherine's dramatic and emotional personality, combined with her refusal to take no for an answer led to a complete meltdown and her swearing that she was going to kill Dytto if she didn't switch when they got to school. While her step-sister got to drive down to Crossroads on her own, Katherine was stuck being driven by her father who took the opportunity of having forty minutes alone with her to lecture her, and lecture her, and lecture her some more on how unacceptable her behavior was. After he helped her move into her room, which she barely did, considering that she was still sure she was going to be moving out before the day's end, he left her with parting words that mostly consisted of the demand to "behave".

He had business to attend to and was running late as it was, so he left before visiting Deanna's dorm again, but insisted that Katherine go over and say goodbye to Amelia. Katherine didn't care to see her stepmother, but she did have every intention of going across the hall to Deanna's room, because she needed to make that become her room. She had been in too much of a fury to notice London's text on her phone, but was pleased to find her and Holly in the main room of Deanna's dorm, even if she wasn't as pleased to see Dytto and her stepmother there too. Rather than attempting to appeal to those two, who one would imagine she would be closest with, she turned to the blonde resident adviser and rather than offering a traditional greeting, began with her reason for being in there. "Holly, thank God you're here. It's not fair. I can't live with them. It's just... inhumane! Literally cruel and unusual punishment, and I don't deserve that. You have to make her switch with me," she insisted, turning her head to glare in Deanna's direction to signal who she was talking to. "Amelia, I thought you said you were going to make her switch," she added, a distressed, and now noticeably more pleading-than aggressive look on her face as she addressed her stepmother.

"Katherine, Katherine, calm down. Like I told you earlier, it's out of my control. You know how housing works here. If you don't choose your room early enough, it's random. I didn't make up the placements, and I can't change them. We can work out whatever issue you have with those girls though, okay. Who are you living with, again? Natalya, Esperanza...?" Holly didn't want to step on the toes of Katherine's stepmother, who stood right there, but also felt like she needed to show that she could act as a good adviser in front of a paying parent.

"And Eloise, but Eloise isn't the problem. It's the other two, and it's not something I want to work out. One of them is mean to me, and the other one is going to try to give me tattoos in the middle of the night. I just need Deanna to switch with me so I can live here, okay? Please?" Please was something she rarely said, and she felt like the special occasion of saying it really warranted her deserving to get her way this time. Of course, her attempt at politeness wasn't directed at Deanna, but Holly, and almost instantly after she finished her plea, she turned to London. "You don't even know how horrible my life is going to be if I'm forced to live there," she sighed, in an attempt to justify her dramatics to the girl whose opinion mattered most to her.

"I love you too mami, but I really must go," Esperanza said coolly as she sat on a bench, holding her iPhone 5S to her ear. The Latina was desperate to get off her phone, the more she talked the more minutes would be wasted while her mother cried drunkenly in Spanish. "I'll call you every week, just like last year, bueno?" Her mother couldn't respond through her tears. Esper, jammed her finger onto the end call button. She didn't really have time for her mother's shit. Just as the girl was getting up, her phone received two text messages. One from London, the other from Dytto. Seeing Dytto's name flash across the screen made her sick. She wasn't ready to deal with what was happening yet. Esper has spent her summer trying to get over her, but failed miserably. Inhaling sharply, she replied to London first.

To: Main Bitch
Outside of Wright Hall, I've spent the past hour trying to calm my delusional mother down. Help me unpack my final things?

She nearly banged her head on the door as she walked into Wright Hall, "Oh fucking shit!" she cursed. Esper had no filter on her mouth. Luckily no one was around to make fun of her. She kicked the door closed behind her as she walked into the common area. There were a few girls in there, most of them she didn't know. "Auntie Snix has arrived on the Bitchtown Express, you besta believe it!" She flipped her burnt umber tresses behind her all diva like. Esper did not know what their reaction was because she was already making her way up the stairs. She was certain that she had the shittiest roommates ever. Natalya Volkova, Katherine Arnault, and Eloise Tailer. She hated two out of her three roommates. Natalya on the other hand, was cool in her book. Once she made her way to the second floor, she pulled her phone out to make some other texts.

To: Dytto
I'm heading to my dorm now, glad to see you missed me too.

She silently cringed at that remark, was that too flirty? Thousands of thoughts raced through her mind as she pushed open the dorm room to 2A. Her face was as white as a ghost. She opened the door to Room A and closed it suddenly. Her eyes trailed to the room that was somewhat complete. She had her dresses hanging up in the closet, some of her clothes in the drawers, and her cheerleading uniform on a hanger near the bed. On the wall was a magnificent painting of the sea which Esper liked looking at when she was stressed. On the walls were a few posters of Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Beyonce, and Britney Spears. She preferred 00's pop music to today's pop music, it was just a little better quality in her opinion. After a few deep breaths, she looked down at her phone. Who the hell freaks out over a text? It shouldn't have been her. She huffed, looking at her contacts. She needed to let Farrah know she was here, otherwise she was sure her bestie would kill her. One to her "boyfriend" Jonnie. They had to make their relationship believable after all. She also needed to send one to Natalya, since she did not see her when she entered the dorm room.

To: Farrah my Babe
You here yet? I literally have the worst roommates ever.

To: Jonnie
You better be at the barbeque. Also make sure to take a mint, your breath smells.

To: Russian Barbie
We're roomies this year with Katherine, it's literally going to be like one of those shitty reality shows.

As Dytto would discover only a few moments later was that Amelia had barely even made it out the front door of her apartment style lodging when Katherine stormed on in without even being invited. The brat didn't even acknowledge the main person who vouched for her getting the room she wanted - hello, Amelia may not be the ungrateful child's mom but she could at least acknowledge that someone cared about getting her whatever she wanted! - and immediately set to pleading her case to Holly. Dytto glanced at her mother, who was in the middle of rubbing the bridge of her nose with her eyes closed, before leaning against the frame of her door, arms folded over her chest and long legs crossed. She didn't even pretend to show any other emotion than amusement on her face when Katherine even glared at her, only smirking with a taunting flare in her gaze as she sipped more of her Starbucks. Because after all, Katherine could throw all the bitch fits in the world. Was that going to make Dytto change her mind?

Not in the slightest.

It was probably a bit ridiculous, as her own mother had told her, that Dytto would be so adamant when even she said it was just a room. The sooner she gave up the room, the sooner Katherine shut up. Plain and simple - no complications such as these necessary. However, that was a problem for Dytto. Surrendering was a thing of pride and if there was anyone she was definitely not going to submit to, it was Katherine. Hell, Dytto would give her room up for Farrah - of all people, and it's not like she actually would now, this is just speaking in hypotheticals - before she gave it up to Katherine. And that was simply out of pride. Surrendering meant that Katherine would be all smug about it later and that she would continue to think that she could get her way simply by painting on a few good tears and well-placed dry sobs. Dytto didn't have it in her to entertain that. Besides, she had received the room just as everyone else had. After all, who decides to get someone else to pick their room and then get mad about the selection? Oh, right, Katherine Arnault. Of course.

"Awww, damn. Tough break, kiddo," she exclaimed sarcastically when it felt like Katherine was done with her sob story, recently tweaked eyebrows inching together as she construed the most unsympathetic sympathetic face she could make. "Wish I could help, but I'm all unpacked and not letting anyone within an inch of my shit unless they wanna get gutted." Amelia immediately turned a glare in her daughter's direction. "Deanna!" Dytto bristled at her tone, but settled down nonetheless when her mother stepped in between the always warring step-sisters. Amelia's sharp blue eyes went from Dytto to Katherine, softening only slightly for her stepchild. We've already discussed that what's done is done, Kat. You aren't switching rooms and just because you go to a resident adviser, it does not mean that your father's mind has been changed. Or mine, for that matter," she stated with certainty, but not without turning a sharper gaze her daughter's way. "But that does not mean that you get to taunt her about this." The eye roll Dytto gave in response was her hardest all day.

Pushing Katherine's buttons probably wasn't a good idea, perhaps. But as her mother should have known, Katherine pushing her buttons was never a good idea. Not if she didn't want to go to class trying to use pounds of concealer and foundation on one of her eyes. "I'm also not entertaining this," she countered and made sure to level her gaze with Katherine's over her mother's shoulder. "This whole room switch thing? Not gonna ever happen. And you need to get over it. Maybe smoke a jay, get laid - anything to get that stick you've got shoved so far up your - "

"Assez, Deanna, ou Dieu me aider..." Amelia quickly interrupted with a hand held in the air as warning, not to hit Dytto, but to silence her. Dytto bristled, but not before averting her gaze to the front door. It was rare when Amelia spoke French to either of the girls, but they both understood it was when she was angry. Even Katherine, sometimes, acquiesced to the tone in which Amelia spoke her native language. When she could still feel her mother's gaze boring into her face, Dytto leveled the older woman with an indomitable stare, feigning indifference when she spoke, "Ne me faites pas vous faire changer de chambre juste parce que je peux." Dytto stopped herself when she realized she was tapping her foot out of anger and before her mother could issue another threat, her face went blank. "Bien sûr, maman," she replied, already pissed that she was being chastised in front of both an adviser and an irrelevant classmate. Rolling her eyes, Dytto pushed off of the door frame and briskly walked past the other women in the room, needing to get away before she was tempted to hurl her precious drink in Katherine's face. "I'll go check on my TV or whatever." She didn't wait for permission, she just left.

Amelia then turned her stare, firstly to Holly, whom she softened for and apologized to. "Sorry about that," she said and included London with a small smile. "You're just moving in, sweetheart, and we're already causing drama." When her eyes finally landed on Katherine, she hardened her gaze just a bit with resolve in her voice as she stated, "And this conversation is over, Katherine. Neither your father nor I want to hear about you bringing this situation up again. It's done." She also did not wait for a response. She simply headed back into Dytto's room to make sure all of her clothes were hung up or tucked away in a drawer, wishing to be back by her husband's side as soon as those damn kids returned with that television set.

Farrah ran her fingers through her hair, crossing right leg over left. She was on her way to Crossroads Academy to start her senior. There was no problem with her and school. In fact she was a tad bit excited to start her year. Her classes are more rigorous this year than last. She was head of the dance team again and she is leading it with her best friend Esperanza. Senior seems promising. Farrah is looking at this optimistically of course. Things could always go wrong, but she was not in the mood to think about all the things that could go wrong in her life. That would just be a horrible start to her day.

Her attention was brought back to the pictures on her Samsung Galaxy S7. She wanted to post another picture to Instagram to let her followers know summer has ended and she could not wait for school. Farrah had mostly stayed in California, occasionally traveling to Dominican Republic with her mother. But most of it was spent at home and with Nathan. She stopped on a picture of him and smiled to herself. He looked so adorable in this picture. Though she practically had to force him to be adorable for her. Their relationship seemed so perfect over the summer. She was extremely happy and she was assuming that Nate was as well. Farrah may not have introduced him to the family in fear they would hate him, but she spent much time with him as possible. Her gaze shifted to the window. The school was pulling up and she had no more time to be the reminiscing girlfriend. It was time to be Farrah Hart. Co-Captain of the Dance team. Bad Bitch that does not tolerate shit from anyone. Her driver parked the car and came around to Farrah's door. Gracefully, she stepped out smiling politely at him.

Miss Hart has know idea who he is. Her mother was in charge of arranging her ride and making sure all her things arrived to campus. Just like momma said, her this were waiting for her in a separate truck. Even her Cadillac ATS 2015 was parked for her. "Do you need any help with her your things, Miss Hart?" The dark skinned beauty nodded and then started walking towards her dorm. The arrangement was not completely awful, despite Dytto's existence, Farrah was not all that upset with it. As she headed towards her room, her phone buzzed. Message from Esper of course. Quickly she responded.

To: Esper Darling
Heading to my room now. And hang in there. You only have to smile at Katherine when London is around.

Farrah knows about their feud. They only keep up the charade around one person. Finally getting to her room, her driver set everything down and Miss Hart completely disregarded the fact that Dytto took one of the better rooms. Hart did not need a great view. If she wanted to go to the beach, she would just go. Farrah did see London and smiled charmingly. Sharing a dorm with Queen Bee required to be polite. Getting on her bad side would not be good. But right now, making friends was not on her list of things to do. The driver just stood at the entrance of Miss Hart's door, waiting to be dismissed. "Thanks. I am good now."

The driver left and Farrah decided to send a text to her boyfriend. Even though she has no plans to make a public appearance with him anytime soon, she wanted to make sure that he at least got here alright.

To: Nate <3
Did you make it Crossroads okay?

Looking up from her phone, she tossed it onto her bed. She wanted to start unpacking soon so that she could join everyone at the BBQ. Slowly she started unpacking, waiting for responses to her messages.

LONDON WELLINGTON

All it took was Katherine being in the room for a mere three seconds for the situation to turn from peaceful to tense. That was Katherine for you, though. She was dramatic enough that London always teasingly insisted that she join the Drama Club, because she would certainly be promoted to club leader once everyone saw how well she could pull out those crocodile tears. What didn't help was that while some of Kat's antics did seem to be an act to get what she wanted, a lot of it seemed genuine too. London could be a bitch too, there was no denying that, but there was also no denying that her friend seemed to live in a fantasy world where everything revolved around her. London could be ruthless, but at least she was aware enough to know that she was acting that way. Katherine actually seemed to think that people had to drop everything they were doing to wait on her, and though London found it to be entertaining to an extent, she also wished that Kat would tone it down sometimes. Like now. It didn't look good for anyone for a royal to be throwing a temper tantrum in public over something as trivial as a room. London would have loved to live with Katherine, and she didn't want her friend to be miserable, but she could recognize, at least, that the situation wasn't going to change. Surprisingly, she didn't blame Dytto for not wanting to switch just because Kat requested so, and since she figured that this was a "family issue", she remained quiet as the two went at it, only to be separated by Dytto's mother before things got too out of hand. London knew a little bit of French, but not enough to follow what Amelia was saying, though the tone, and the way that both girls seemed to back down, said enough. She offered the mother a light chuckle and a toss of her hand to signal that it was no big deal, as she apologized for the drama, and waited for her to return to Dytto's room before looking at Katherine curiously. She wasn't sure how her friend was going to react to being shut down, but she also didn't have time for the negativity today.

"Quit being such a baby, Kitty," she said, giving her a playful elbow to the side in hopes that a teasing approach would break Kat out of her drama queen mode. "We're literally right across the hall from each other, so it's almost the same as living together," she insisted. "And Esper is not going to be mean to you, so stop it with that, okay? I need my girls to get along this year, and maybe you two living together will be a good thing. You'll realize that both of you are bitches, and at least you have that in common." She glanced at her phone, only to see that it was Esper herself texting her back. "Come on, we're going to go finish moving you and her in," she added after sending a response to Esper saying, "Omw". She took Katherine's hand and took a few steps towards the door before turning back to Holly to say, "Catch you later, Holl. Tell the new girl she can come to me if she needs anything at all, too." She could come to London if she needed anything at all... if she happened to be pretty and cool, and a potential candidate for London's clique. Otherwise, that wasn't true, but the RA didn't need to know that. On her way out, she noticed Farrah, and returned the smile that the Prep offered her. "Hey, Farrah," she said, before pulling Katherine into the hallway. London was being friendly, but it wasn't necessarily atypical for her. It seemed easier to keep everyone at a friendly level... until they fucked her over. And then she would destroy them. Farrah had never presented any problems to her, and she was very close with Esper, so London had no reason to be a bitch.

"I don't know how you get away with talking to your mom like that. I'm pretty sure that my mom would have murdered me by now if I said half of the things that you say." She knew that Amelia was Katherine's stepmother, but for as long as she had known Katherine, that was the woman who was always at her home and actually acting somewhat like a mother. London was in no place to talk about absent parents considering her own, but even if her relationship with her parents was a minimal one, she couldn't fathom actually disrespecting them in the way that she had witnessed Katherine do to her father and stepmother. She was serious when she thought that her mom probably would have slapped her across the face by that point, had she acted the way Kat did, and in front of other people, nonetheless. She still maintained a light tone as she spoke with Kat, because she knew that was necessary with the girl. She was... fragile, in a sense, but she also said it in an attempt at hinting to Kat that she didn't want to deal with her acting that way all day. It was their first day back, and she wanted it to be fun. Crossing the hall, she headed into Katherine's dormitory, where Esperanza was supposed to be as well. "Esper!" she called out, announcing her presence. "We're here, where are you? I've been missing my pretty Latina baby all summer!" It took peaking into one incorrect bedroom to find Esperanza in hers, and she forcibly tugged Katherine into Esper's room with her, only releasing her once they were inside so she could hug Esperanza. "You look cute," she said once she released the brunette. "I'm excited for my two best girls to be living together, although I will say that I'm disappointed with your room choice. Why didn't you take the other one with the good view?" she questioned, knowing that Kat had likely taken one of the two good ones.

For a few months, Katherine had gotten away with disregarding Amelia's voice of authority with the excuse that she wasn't her mother, and couldn't tell her what to do, but her father had quickly gotten sick of that and shut it down. It didn't abolish Katherine's level of disregard for what Amelia nor Bernard had to say a lot of the time, but she knew when to stop pushing, and when her stepmother began to speak in French, she knew she had hit that line. Her arms instinctively crossed over her chest and a scowl fell into place, but she didn't object to Amelia ending her pleas at changing rooms. There was no point, and she could only answer with a "Fine," to acknowledge that she understood this. Her stepmother seemed serious and the last thing that Katherine wanted to deal with was her father coming back up and reprimanding her in front of people like Amelia did. Taking no for an answer wasn't something that Katherine was comfortable or used to doing, and she was very tempted to start crying, just as a last resort in hopes that maybe she could cry her way into getting Dytto's bedroom, but Amelia's immediate turn back into the bedroom only spoke further to how her stepmother wasn't going to entertain it.

Even getting to see her shut down Deanna didn't make Katherine feel any better because in the end, she was still left without what she wanted. This was different than not getting some material item that she wanted, and it was ten times worse. Katherine had exaggerated on how poorly she thought of two of her roommates, but she had truly convinced herself that living with them was going to be hell, so now, she was already expecting the worst. Not even London's playful attitude could alleviate the bitterness that seemed to be instilled in her mood for the moment, and London insisting that she and Esperanza would get along wasn't reassuring either. Esperanza would probably be nice to her in front of London, but London wasn't going to be living with them, and Kat was sure that whenever they were alone, Esperanza would turn right back into the huge bitch she was known to be. Especially with her little sidekick Natalya there to back her up. "She's not my mom," Katherine corrected London. "And I wasn't even being rude. Like, she just always takes Deanna's side and doesn't even try to be fair and it's so typical." She could have went on for an hour about the injustices she faced at home, but she knew that it would have been futile, because London seemed to be in too good of a mood to want to hear it. While Kat usually liked a positive and upbeat London, she wished that the Queen Bee was in a worse mood today, because it would have meant that maybe she would have been on her side and tried to threaten Dytto into switching with her. Kat liked to think that she had a lot of power, but she knew that if anyone had the ability to sway the social system, it was London. It didn't stop her from sending a text to Dytto though, disregarding Amelia's insistence that she drop the topic.

To: Deanna
If you don't switch with me I'm going to tell London about how I saw Liam at our house with YOU this summer.

She had already told London about it anyway, but she thought that it might hold some weight over Dytto, despite knowing that Dytto had not seemed to make an attempt at keeping her hookup with Liam a secret anyway. If it wasn't obvious, she was trying anything and everything to get Deanna's room, so empty threats were not too low for her.

Katherine wanted to separate from London once they got into her dorm and she saw her pulling her towards Esperanza's room, but she knew that the attempt would have been futile. After seemingly losing her battle at switching rooms, the last person she wanted to deal with was the person who she wanted to escape from, especially when she felt like London was going to take her side too. She had always been capable of pretending to like Esperanza when London was around, but she had never had to live with her before, and she could barely feign a smile in the girl's presence when London brought up how great it was that they were living together. When London brought up the room placements, she had to at least appreciate that Esperanza had gotten one of the worst rooms in the dorm, but she remained silent, since it wasn't that big of a hit to really make her feel much better.

Looking herself over in the mirror Natalya smiled and pulled on her jacket. The day had started early for her today, having to wake up at 5am to get everything done. This year her Uncle had finally finished setting up a local branch of the business which was both good and bad for her. The good obviously outweighed the bad. She finally had family in Cali, it benefited her family with the new income they'd be getting (as if they weren't rich enough already), and it meant she didn't have to hire strangers to help her move into her room. That being said, the bad was that when she had gone to ask her cousin, who was the current 'boss' of the local branch, to get some guys to help her he had waved her on to ask herself. While usually she would have been all for this, the first day of school really wasn't the day you wanted to get in a fight. Since she hadn't hired anyone she had sighed and shrugged, respect had to be earned. It didn't take her very long to 'win respect', she had meant it when she said not to hit her face and sadly the second guys ballsy enough to fight her gave her a busted lip. She touched the wound gently, looking in the mirror with a frown. 'I'll have to do presents right when I get to school rather than before the after party to distract them... At least I broke his arm.' Her thoughts now on a happier note she brought her mind to the party. With London's permission Natalya threw the back to school party every year, always on the first friday back and Natalya gave her best friends their birthday presents for the year before the party started, which was why it started at 6 rather than 5. As she spoke Sophia was down the hall with the two chefs Natalya had hired to cook for the party tomorrow, planning the meal and getting the meat into marinades they decided on. While it was only another barbeque, albeit with a pool and an open bar, Natalya loved splurging to have the food home-made.

Shaking her head Natalya grabbed her helmet and her cell phone, dialing her cousin's number as she towards the front door. "Sophia I'm heading out! Just use the card I gave you if you need to buy more supplies and call me if anything goes wrong!" The hispanic woman answered quickly, "Of course! Adios chère fille!" As she walked out the door her cousin picked up the phone and she spoke in russian as she headed towards the garage. "Hey I need you to tell the guys to head towards my school with the three trailers and the large box Dad had you guys bring with you." Going into the garage she hit the button for the door to open and looked at her choice of rides before going with her 2015 Harley-Davidson Street 500. "No, I mean the box full of cocaine. Yes! I meant the one that's gift wrapped with a bow around it. Fuck was that so hard to figure out..." Her cousin made a comment and started to laugh, causing Natalya to pull the phone away from her face to glare at it. Shaking her head Natalya lifted the stand on her bike, keeping it upright with one hand. "I gotta go so I can meet them there. Bye." Ending the call Natalya noticed she had two texts, one from Dytto and the other from Esperanza.

To: D-Mac
I'm on my way. Are Nate and Fred there yet?

To: Crazy Bitch <3
Yeah I know but at least we're together against hurricane Katherine. You at school yet?

To: Fred and Alex
Yo you guys at school yet?

Shoving her phone in her pocket Natalya turned the key, pressed the button to close the garage door, and revved her engine, peeling out of the garage just as the door began to lower.

To: Farrah
Yeah, helping Dee. U need anything?

It took a minute for Nathan to put his phone away, but he slid in his back pocket just before Dytto arrived downstairs to the parking lot. It was a risk for him, texting the dance co-captain - of all people - in the middle of a parking lot and when he was supposed to be helping one of his best friends out, but he couldn't find it in him to ignore his girlfriend's question. Hell, the fact that he got to call Farrah Hart his girlfriend still was a surprise to himself and Nathan had carried that knowledge between the two of them throughout the entire summer. And would have to for the rest of the year if Farrah didn't change her mind and d -

"Dude, what's the hold up?" Dytto exclaimed inquiringly, heels clicking against the gravel as she approached the truck. Nathan looked up at the brunette, noting the attitude that wasn't there before. "What's with you?" He countered and she waved him off, gaze flitting over to the LG 84 inch television he had propped up against one of his muscled legs and the sleek black television stand that came with it. Bernard had gotten both Dytto and Katherine brand new, matching television sets the day before, despite the fact that Dytto's old one was very much still new-looking and expensive as well. Which was what she gave to Nathan before getting him to help her out.

"Same old, step-father's spawn is being a bitch. What else is new?" Dytto finally explained on a shrug and pulled her phone out. Nathan smirked. He knew, better than most, how irritable Dytto could become when it came to her step-sister. The fact that they went through sparring sessions because Katherine frustrated her so much was a testament to how the brunette really felt about the Royal. "Well...I was trying to call your boy Jonnie to help out, but apparently he's not even coming and your little dancer friend chased after some junior," Nathan recalled and Dytto tilted her head curiously, pausing to breeze through the text messages she had received in the midst of being distracted by Katherine's tantrum. First was from Esperanza, which made her smile just a little. But then the next was from Jonnie with an explanation and then finally Natalya. "Well, shit. Let me text Fred and then get Colin's bitch ass back here. My mom's probably ready to go. Nat's on her way." Dytto set to sending out her messages, biting her lip as her fingers hovered over the keys in the midst of messaging Esperanza.

To: Colin
Come back b4 u catch another STD

To: Esper
Of course I did. Who else is gonna get me thru a year w/ Bitchanie?

To: Fred
Nat's on her way. Where r u?

To: Black Widow
W/ Nate now. Waitin on Fred

"So, are we really going to this barbeque before class?" Nathan asked, bringing her attention back to him as he set to lift the television himself. Grinning, Dytto put her phone away and set her drink on the television set so that she could lift with him. Even though she could feel Nathan taking more of the brunt of it. "Why? Tryna skip to play that Outlast DLC?" His initial response was a grin that made her laugh. "Damn straight. Gotta beat your time on the game." Dytto laughed against, hoisting the television up more so that she could walk better in her shoes. "Keep dreamin', Hale. Let's just get this upstairs so I can get my mom outta here. Colin'll come back and then we can chill until Nat gets here." She said and the two headed into the dorm carefully, grateful when a classmate and their friend held the double doors opened for them.

Frederick could not explain his excitement levels. He loved coming to Crossroads Academy. Not just because he can go back to the Newspaper Club, which he has been missing all summer, but because he missed his friends. They all live in much nicer areas and can drive around to visit each other when they want. Of course Natalya and Dytto came and saw him every once in a while. He even managed to get Kiffen to hang out with him everyone once in a while. He was so excited for all his friends to be in one place. His iPhone 5s buzzed. It was a group message from Dytto. He decided not to respond. He was still trying to move in.

Fred was not expecting to be one of the first people moving into Chase Hall. But it seemed that way. It made it easier to move in, without the other guys moving in as well. He did not know anything about his roommates. Well he knew Liam. But everyone knows the King of Crossroads. But for the most part, Fred was in the dark about who he was sharing his space with. It was both exciting and terrifying. "Anything else you need son?" Fred turned to face his dad, who dropped off the last box. For a moment Freddy thought about everything he could possibly need. He could not think of anything. "I got it from here. Thanks." He smiled gratefully. He told his father that he did not have to come, but he insisted. The father and son duo hugged and then Freddy waved his dad goodbye.

The door shut and Freddy let out a sigh. He heard his phone chime twice and decided that he should probably answer it. Without even checking he knew that both Natalya and Dytto had texted him. Clearly the Russian was looking for both of them and Dytto was wondering where the nerd even was.

To: Dytto
Just finished moving in. Do you need help?

To: Natalya
In Chase hall. I am like the only dude here right now. Dytto said you were on your way, do you need help moving in?

After both messages were sent, he laid on his bed and waited for his responses. He could finish unpacking later today. After he saw all of his friends and attended the BBQ. He pulling his 3DS from his backpack and started playing on the games to kill time.

Joe lived in Las Vegas, which was over a four hour drive to Crossroads Academy. He didn't have his own car, and flights from Vegas to Los Angeles were only around seventy-five dollars, so it was a lot easier for him to fly into Los Angeles and take a bus to Manhattan Beach, than it was to have one of his parents drive him. They both worked and asking them to take off a day to drive him was just unnecessary. He had worked all summer at a local summer camp, and losing $100 on transportation to school sucked, but was something that he could withstand. He had only one suitcase and a backpack filled with belongings by the time that he got to school, but this wasn't really even a representation of his working class status. He didn't own a lot of things, yeah, but he also didn't want a lot of things. He had clothes, some personal hygiene items to get him through the first few weeks, his computer and his school supplies, his violin... and not much more. Anything else that he needed, he knew could be easily purchased on campus on in the surrounding area. While he didn't have a car himself, many of his friends did, and he knew that Crossroads also had a school-run shuttle that drove students into town on the weekends if he really needed something that badly.

He had gotten to school at around nine-thirty, and was completely moved in about twenty minutes later. His move in process only consisted of him dumping his suitcase into the school-provided dresser, and leaving the rest of his things at the bottom of his closet. Unlike many of the other students, he didn't need the personalized furniture and upgraded amenities. His simple personality definitely helped, considering his parents weren't going to finance flat screen televisions and queen sized beds for his room anyway. While he was already tired enough that he wanted to take a nap and catch some z's before the barbecue, his involvement in the student government association meant that that wasn't possible. A few weeks earlier, he had responded to a group email and agreed to join the committee that was helping freshman students move in and get acquainted with the school. All it took was a few minutes of socializing for him to get the energy he had lost while travelling back, and by the time he headed back towards Chase, around eleven, he was ready for the rest of the day. His stomach was definitely ready for the food, if that meant anything, at least, but then again, it was a rare occasion when Joe wasn't ready and willing to eat a feast-sized meal.

This year, he was rooming with Kiffen, Antonio and William, and he hadn't run into any of the three yet since moving in. So, on his walk back to his dorm, he messaged the three, responded to Deanna's group message separately, and also sent out a couple of other texts. By the time that he was entering 2B, he had sent out the following, and a few more to other random Artists.

To: Kiffen, Antonio, William
Hey, have you guys moved in yet? Heading back to the room now if anyone needs help

To: Dytto
Heading back to Chase... had to fulfill my student gov duties by helping the freshman move in. Btw I still want you to join student gov this year. You've got that leadership stuff in you, D-Mac... and don't try to tell me that you're too busy dancing or whatever it is you do. You always seem to have time to let me kick ur ass in ping pong, you can make time to keep your buddy company at those weekly meetings

To: Katherine
Kat! Did you move onto campus okay? Need any help?

To: London
Hey! Hope I see you at the barbecue!

To: Ellie
I better see your face at the barbecue

"There!" Dytto exhaled in satisfaction as she and Nathan set her TV down on the stand that Colin had literally run behind them with when the duo made it to the elevator. Which was good on him since, if he hadn't caught up and continued chasing tail, he would have had to wait for someone to let him on the elevator and most girls were busy reuniting with their besties and gossiping and all those cute little things most girls did once they returned to school. Dytto didn't feel the need to do such. The first person she had reached out to had been Nathan and that had been mostly to get help with moving her stuff in, and making sure he didn't put off his check-in for some inexcusable reason. She had text Natalya last night and while she, of course, would love to go visit the temptation that was Esperanza Ramos, she could wait. Katherine was there and probably London since neither the blonde or Farrah had been present when Dytto returned to their dorm.

"Finally," Nathan drawled and fell onto her bed, sprawling back rather comfortably against the fuzzy pillows that lined her headboard and propping his feet up on the fuzzy duvet at the end of the bed. His feet basically at the end of the mattress and that alone made Dytto smirk. "Lazy Sasquatch," she grumbled playfully, picked up one of the gray pillows from one of her armchairs and hurled it at the Rebel. He only laughed and caught it midair before placing the plush item behind his head as leverage. Amelia smirked from her perch on the other chair and rose to her feet. "Lazy Sasquatch who helped unpack all of your things and letting me leave," she decided to correct and Dytto put on a show of rolling her eyes as her mother planted a kiss on her forehead. "Call me this weekend...whenever. You know how we do." She reminded her and Dytto smiled, much gentler than any of her other expressions thus far in the day. Her lined blue eyes flitted over to Nathan as he, in response, averted his gaze from the scene. It was enough to make Dytto pull away from her mother knowingly, smiling all the while. "Tell Bernard I said thanks." Amelia's smile seemed to brighten and she waved, heading to the bedroom door before pausing to note Nathan over her shoulder.

"Nathaniel," she called and his head snapped up, arms folded over his chest in relaxation but eyes inquisitive. "Don't forget what I told you." At first, Nate wasn't planning on answering, especially since she had brought up their private conversation in front of Dytto. Who he usually told everything to...though, considering the dancer didn't know about his current relationship status, maybe not everything. "Yes, maam." Dytto scrunched up her face, bewildered, but her mother said nothing more. The older brunette simply stepped out and closed the door behind her. Dytto turned on Nate. "Do I need to ask?" She inquired, a playful note to her genuine curiosity. Nathan didn't even pretend to entertain her probing. "Nope." Was his curt response and her baby blues narrowed into slits - not cold, but...searching, relentless. And Nathan gave her a blank face in response. A second later and Dytto was rolling her eyes before throwing herself beside him on the bed. They had both taken off their shoes five minutes ago. "Fiiiiiine. Be that way. Wanna see Fred more than you anyway!" She snapped childishly and only the corner of Nate's mouth twitched upwardly, amused, as he watched the brunette type out a few texts.

To: Fred
Pretty much finished. Come over

To: Joe
Gonna need more than flattery, sweet cheeks. Wanna chill b4 dis cookout?

To: Black Widow
Lemme know when u get here ;D

To: Katherine
Lemme know if u tell her. I can send a pic

Was her text to Katherine a bit petty? Especially after she had purposefully avoided contacting the girl earlier when she had first seen the threat. But...well, Dytto was petty. And shady. And this wasn't really shade to London since Dytto didn't have a problem with her nor did she see a reason for the girl to be upset with her over Liam. They were just fuck buddies, after all. It wasn't her fault some people wanted to get all in their feelings. Why do feelings when you could just screw them out of your being - literally? Says the girl who still isn't over her crush, her subconscious decided to opine and Dytto told it to go fuck itself. Instead of allowing that train of thought to derail her, she glanced up at Nate with a grin. "Ready for that DLC? Nate grinned back. "Damn straight." She only giggled before hopping up so that she could attack the game system to her television.

Farrah was done packing. At least for now. She was annoyed with trying to figure out where her things should go. She is probably going to rearrange it later. But right now she was not in the mood to deal with anything. She was hoping that Will or Esper would have come barging in to rescue her, but no such luck. Esperanza was probably with London and the other girl she hates. If it were up to Farrah, they could switch rooms. Anything not to be roomed with Dytto. A sigh escaped her as she laid on her bed. Her phone vibrated. Esper. Quickly glancing over it, Farrah frowned slightly. The dancer personally had nothing against Katherine, but they weren't all that close. Esperanza on the other hand had mentioned a few different ways she would rearrange her face.

To: Esperanza Darling
Well we can switch rooms. I am stuck with Dytto. I would rather vomit.

Farrah was not as excited for the barbeque as she should be. People she hated and people that hated her would be there. On top of that, if Nathan went, she would have to stick with her clique. That's not horrible. But she only likes a few people. Esperanza, Liam, Will, to name a few. But the A List isn't as tight nit as the world likes to think. Katherine and Esper's relationship is a good example of that. Then there were people outside of the clique that she would rather just disappear. Dytto and Natalya to name some. Esperanza is friends with them though, so Farrah doesn't act so rudely towards them when she is around. But if Farrah had had her way, she would have found a way to get rid of those two.

Another message came in. Nathan. He had moved in and he was helping Miss Dytto herself. If she did not like Nate so much she would have cut him off just for associating with her. Same with Esperanza. But there was nothing that she could do. SHe was not some controlling girlfriend. Just one that stayed away from him in public. Sounds awful, but there is way more involved than what is on the surface. Just before she replied, she had realized that he was coming up to the dorm. Farrah's heart almost dropped. Now she really did not want to be Dytto's roommate. Now she would have to pretend her boyfriend wasn't her boyfriend.

To: Nate <3
No I am pretty much moved in. But whenever you are able you can sneak over to my room. Which so happens to be right next to Dytto's.

It was risky. They got caught and the secret is out. Her father finds out and her life goes downhill. She meant for Nathan to be as sneaky as possible with it of course. But there is only so much she could ask from him. Tossing her phone to the side, she stood up and decided to play some music. It will take her mind off of everything. She just needs a moment before joining her fellow classmates for recreational fun. The music started playing and she started dancing. Music was always better when she was dancing. Farrah was not really concerned with the fact that she could possibly be bothering Dytto since she was next door. In fact the more she thought about disturbing Farrah, the better she felt about her day.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
LIAM NIELSEN
Outfit
"No one is more qualified to shape the young minds of our
future than the King Bee."

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Liam didn't hold any student government position, and he had no official reason to be leading a group of underclassmen boys around campus, giving them a tour, but he was anyway. One reason was that he had arrived on campus early, like really early, as in seven in the morning, before move-in had even started. His dad was flying to New York later that day for business and was only around in the early morning to help Liam move in, so his RA made an exception for him showing up early. Another reason was that he was Liam Nielsen, and well, when he was in the mood, he could be friendly. It was a friendliness that was laced with more of an incentive than to just make people feel at ease, though. It was a friendless that was motivated by his need to make sure that these boys knew that he was the top dog on campus, that he was the person that they needed to look up to and strive to be like. His behaviors didn't often lead him to be the ideal role model in a moral sense, but in a world based on popularity, he knew that he earned his spot at the top. He belonged there, and if he hadn't, the former King Bee wouldn't have chosen him as his successor without even considering anyone else.

The tour was ending in Chase Hall, the senior boys' dormitory, and the one that Liam insisted would be the one that they'd be able to sneak the most girls into, when it came their time to live there. That was, if they followed his advice, however. Throughout his tour, he had made sure to make it clear to these young minds that no girl was off limits to Liam Nielsen, and that with a little practice, they could be on the road to being as wanted as he was, too. "Listen, boys. You wanna know the key to success? Simplicity. Modesty. Acting like you're open to anything, when really the only thing you're open to is her legs opening. Girls like that. I don't know why. You know, I've got a lot of answers, but I don't know why. All I know is that when you try too hard, you look like a douche, and no girl on this planet is trying to hop into a bed with a douche. Why do you think Davenport over there has never been laid?" he said, motioning over towards a Prep boy who sat with a group of guys on a couch on the other side of the room. "He didn't get friend zoned. Nah, he got douche zoned. If you don't know how to wear a Cartier watch or a Burberry jacket without looking like you're trying to tell the world that your dad owns a Fortune 500 company, then stick to the fucking Nikes and shit like that. You're just embarrassing all of us, otherwise, and I'm not for that."

Liam's phone going off was the main reason for why he ended his spiel there for the moment, and an eager boy from the group in front of him perked up at the noise with a grin. "Is that one of your bitches?" he asked excitedly, with a laugh that made it obvious that he was proud of himself for the comment. Instead of the high five and hearty "hell yeah" that he was probably expecting, Liam looked at him in disgust, which he would later admit to himself was probably exaggerated. "Are you kidding me?" The words and the look seemed to wipe the smirk right off of the boy's face. "You don't call your girls bitches ever. I didn't think I had to go over rule number one with you boys, but I guess so. Rule number one is you respect your girls. A girl that lets you bang her in the back of her Porsche isn't a bitch." Nope, she's not a bitch. She's someone you'd call Deanna Devereux, AKA the best fuck you're gonna have in your life, boys. He wasn't in the business of name dropping, or else that thought would have been verbalized. "But I won't let you boys get ahead of yourselves anyway. It takes work to even get a girl to call your own, and you've gotta be prepared to start at the bottom if you wanna get the ones at the top." He had only skimmed through his messages before returning his attention to the boys, but now that his friends were on campus and hitting him up, he was done playing big brother to these freshman. "Now take what I said, and put it to use. The barbecue they're setting up? Go get good seats, and scout out the hottest girls you can find. Remember what I said though, you've gotta start at the bottom. Don't even waste your time trying for anyone who isn't a sophomore or a freshman." With that, he left the boy's in the lobby of Chase Hall and headed upstairs to where his dorm room was. As he walked up the stairs, Dytto, London, Katherine and William got texts from him. Dytto's was laced with sarcasm, even though he wasn't sure who she actually was talking about in reference to the girlfriend, and London's was one he expected to go unanswered, while he knew texting Kat was gutsy.

To: Dytto
Damn D, I thought that we were on the same page with not trying to take it that far. Don't tell me that I made you love sick with a summer's worth of charm. Thought you were stronger than that, but I guess I shouldn't have even expected you to be able to resist me. I just seem to have that effect on girls.

To: Katherine
My favorite girl... what's up, Kat? I get to take you as my date to this barbecue, or do I really have to work for you?

To: London
Not gonna stop by and say hello? Thought we could at least be civil, L

To: William
Wya dude

It didn't take long for him to reach his dormitory, and he unlocked the door and headed inside. Luckily, he had missed Fred's dad leaving by a few minutes, so he didn't have to deal with that, but on his way to his bedroom, he noticed Frederick's was open, and that the guy was inside. He could have just kept walking and went into his own room, but Liam was feeling friendly, and figured that there would be no harm in saying hello. He recognized the kid's face from some mutual classes in the years back but couldn't, for the life of him, remember his name. Rather than try to guess, or ask and make it obvious that he didn't know who he was, he decided to go with the classic nickname of "bro". After having gone to school with the kid for probably three years, if not more, it seemed rude to have to ask him what his name was. "Hey, bro. Hope you don't mind that I took Room B. You know who else we're dorming with?"

Frederick still could not believe that he was the only one here. Honestly, his other roommate could have moved in, but just went to go mingle at the barbeque. Fred was under strict orders to wait for Natalya before attempting to mingle at the schools planned event. That wasn't exactly what was said, but that is what he was going to do. And this game he was playing on his 3DS was keeping him from wanting to do anything else. Game Over "Dang it!" he exclaimed before restarting to the game. No matter how many times he plays, the 'computer' always best him when he is so close to the end. Eventually he was going to win. Not sure when. Freddy just got this game from his mother as a gift. He hasn't played enough to figure it out.

His phone chimed, distracting Fred for a moment. Game over A long sigh escaped him and he put the hand held down. Grabbing his iPhone, he saw that it was Dytto that decided it was good moment to cost him the game. But if she was here, they could play games now. Fred smiled and quickly responded.

To: Dytto
This text costed me a win. So I want food as a payment for this. And I'm on my way

He put the phone down and Liam was standing in his open door. Frederick sat up and smiled politely. Nice to that the King of Crossroads was not planning on completely ignoring Fred. "No big deal. And it's Nathan and Alex. I don't know where they are or if they are even on campus." Freddy said, actually having no idea about their other roommates. The nerd stood up and pocketed his phone. He took slow steps towards his door, waiting for Liam to move right or left. He needed to get to Dytto's room. Once he was out of the way, he made his way towards the front door. "I will see you around." With those final words, he left their dorm.

Frederick was probably never going to talk to Liam again. Not because he did not want too, but because A list tend to stick together. And just cause they lived together did not mean the King was obligated to talk to his subjects. Frederick got to Wright Hall and got up to the second floor. It took him a moment to remember which room was Dytto's. He found it and let himself in. "Are you ready to get crushed in every game you own?" He stated to let his presence be known. Getting to her room, Fred's smirk died a little. It became a soft smile when he saw Nathan. "Hey." Nathan was also intimidating like Liam, but in a completely different way.

Esperanza could only remain silent. The solemn look on her features showed that she was dying on the inside. She wished she had some power to climb back into the metaphorical closet and become the straight bitch that she had created for the world to see. London's reaction made her very uneasy. At first she thought that she was about to tell her to leave, and surprise her with homophobic words. That was the last thing Esper wanted. If she were to be shut out and disowned by her best friend, she would definitely lose her shit. The lion would leave the cage of her soul and she'd probably commit a school massacre. Not literally, just by the means of harsh words and slaps to fake ass faces. Her hands began shaking and she felt her palms sweat. This was the vulnerable side to Esperanza Ramos that no one ever saw. If Katherine were in the room, she besta believe she would be dead. She only trusted several people to see how she felt, one of them was in the room.

Her brown orbs made her way to her phone, another message from Farrah. She wanted to just take the phone and leave the room. Running away from her problems wasn't the best thing to do, but she was so damn scared that she didn't know what to do. London's words made her feel pain in her chest. She was expecting a full on rant about how she didn't deserve to be her friend. Instead, she had shocked her and a forced smile formed on her lips. "London I-" her voice cracked a bit. She chewed on her bottom lip before continuing. "I wanted to tell you, I wanted to tell all my friends. But I am so freaking afraid. Back at home, my family don't support being a lesbian. My uncle was gay and my abuela disowned him. I'm not ready to deal with that kind of treatment," her voice was strained, as if she was going to cry. She was trying her best not to, but it was so hard. "I'm afraid of what other people will think. Imagine if Katherine found out I was a lesbian? She'd tell the whole school and wreck my reputation. She's probably been waiting for an opportunity like that for God knows how long," she gritted her teeth and looked down at her feet.

Her face turned crimson at the mention of a girlfriend. Her mind quickly came to the thought of Dytto. She silently cursed herself for thinking that. She didn't do relationships, only sex. No joke, Esper would kill to screw around with Dytto. But to her, she only did one time things and Esper didn't feel like doing a one time thing. "No, not a girlfriend. Not at all. As for Katherine, I would never even feel any sort of attraction. She probably cares too much about herself to give a shit about her partner if she ever dated someone," she scoffed. "However, there is someone. But I think it's best that I refrain from saying it. It's a little complicated in my opinion," she shrugged, running another digit through her burnt umber tresses. She hoped that London would drop the subject now, the last thing she needed was to keep talking about her homosexual urges to be with Dytto. "He knew I was gay, end of junior year," she commented on the mention of Jonnie. "But he's gay too. Oops I outed him," she rolled her eyes, not giving a single fuck about her ex 'boyfriend.' She picked up her phone, deciding to send in some texts because London herself was doing the same thing.

To Dytto:
Always got her panties in a knot, how is she head cheerleader?

To Russian Barbie:
Yep, Katherine and London came in my room. The bitch kept complaining about her room assignment.

To Farrah my Babe:
As much as I'd love to, I don't think that's a good idea.

She placed her phone back down on the bed, smirking slightly as she began explaining the situation to London, "He was supposed to be my fake boyfriend, so we could convince everyone we were straight. I'm pretty damn sure that he was afraid of me." She chuckled to herself, looking up at the ceiling. "I basically forced this upon him. Being a judgemental bitch and a previously closeted lesbian meant you had an excellent gaydar. To be honest, I'm glad he's not here. His breath smelled and I hated everything about him."

"Ooooohhh, watch out for the ghost!" Dytto practically squealed and laughed as the character Nate played as was practically lifted into the air by a dark aura on the flat screen television. Nate chuckled from his perch in one of her chairs and the brunette tipped over, falling backwards on the plush rug in laughter. "How?" He asked, disbelieving but still knowing. "How is horror and thriller still your favorite?" Dytto stuck her tongue out before digging her hand into the bag she snuck into her dorm room behind both Holly and her mother's backs. She popped two of the vodka-infused gummy bears into her mouth and chewed before responding very intelligently with a "Shut up!" Nathan only turned back to the screen just as the music from Farrah's room seemed to change to a much louder song.

Dytto glowered at the wall that separated them. Nathan only smirked discreetly, eyes focused solely on the screen as his mind wandered back to the text Farrah sent a few minutes ago. He would have loved to go over to her room, despite Dee being right beside him. But, for one, Dytto would question him relentlessly. Two, someone who wasn't his best friend would see him. And three...then would come the question of actually leaving...would he want to? Some part of him knew that they had not thought the entire secret relationship thing through. He had literally been able to have Farrah - a different side of her, mind you - to himself for an entire summer. To have been able to touch her, kiss her - and then not and have to pretend that he never had was...befuddling. It didn't help that he already wasn't used to such...consistency. The summer had been enough to cultivate an addiction and he could admit it - at least to himself - he was addicted.

"Maybe I should go talk to her," he said, sounding disinterested though actually posing the question made his heart race. For once, Dytto didn't turn those scrutinizing blues on him. Instead, she lay on her belly on the floor - since she obviously didn't know what sitting still meant - with her phone in her hands. "Wouldn't do that. Not of the mind to deal with veiled bitchiness...not if the tramp wants to keep her weave in place." Nate shot her an unimpressed glare and a protective remark about how every strand on Farrah's head was definitely real had to be shut down, causing him to clinch his jaw as he maneuvered his character, Waylon, back behind a broken desk so as not to be caught by the big creepy psychopath he was trapped in a locked-down asylum with. "Who knows? Maybe the summer made her more agreeable," he opined with a playful smirk and Dytto snorted as she responded to a few text messages. "Yeah, ok. That or some dick...and considering she hasn't been exactly deceitful in terms of letting everyone know how much D she's gotten, I seriously even doubt that that would help." It was a bit hypocritical, yes, and highly unnecessary for Dytto's commentary. She wouldn't go on to say that she and Farrah were particularly hostile towards one another. But she also couldn't find it in her to care and there honestly wasn't any lost love between them. Besides, why should Nate care anyway? He knew she didn't like the girl from the jump.

To: Esper
Idek. Said sumthing bout meeting. Imma text her

To: Cheer Bitch
Hey, cap! Pom poms unpacked or nah?

To: Liam
Sweetie, not in a mil yrs. Talking bout queenie. Kit Kat wanted 2 tell her bout us.

Both teens looked back at the wall separating Dytto's room from Farrah's as some old Cher Lloyd song came on and Dytto had half the mind to bang on the wall to make Farrah shut the fuck up when Nate slid to a stand. The sudden movement made Dytto narrow her eyes at him. "Yeah, I'll be right back." His face remained rather impassive, a thing Dytto hated about him but also picked up from her. It was frustrating when Nate decided to do that thing, just as much as it frustrated him when she did the exact same. So, Dytto shrugged and decided not to let it bother her, grabbing the remote for the game station for herself. "Your funeral, man," was the only thing she had to say on the matter just as Fred opened her door and entered. "Freddy!" Dytto exclaimed almost immediately before the first thing he said actually registered in my mind. "First of all, I have Cheeze-its and gummy bears out here, and some other shit in the kitchen. But two, you lost because you suck and you'll lose in whatever we play, let's be very clear about that, dude!" Nate chuckled lightly at their light banter before nodding to Fred once, the hint of a smile softening his face. "Wassup?" He barely waited to hear the rest of what either had to say before continuing as he headed for the door Fred just entered through, "Be right back." He closed the door behind him as he heard Dytto futilely warn him, "Don't say I ain't warned you." Nathan just smirked before carefully watching the front door as he headed to the bedroom he remembered Farrah telling him she would be in, knocked in the door twice, before opening it upon finding it was closed. He closed the door immediately after opening it, making sure to turn the lock before eyes taking in Farrah lost in dancing. As corny as it was, he liked the way the sun danced off the darkness of her hair, giving her a glow that couldn't have been better matched even if they were in the midst of a sunset. He smirked, leaning against the door before their eyes finally met. "Having fun?" He inquired playfully, arms crossed over his chest, relaxed.

Liam nodded at Frederick when he gave two other names of people who they were living with. Nathan and Alex. Nathan was familiar enough because of Dytto. It wasn't like Liam was even close enough with Dytto to a point where he was meeting her friends or anything like that, because as he had made clear, he was just about the physical aspects of a relationship. Not the side where he had to go home and meet her parents or get her friends' approval. However, it didn't mean that he was ignorant to who she hung out with because it wasn't like he was solely interested in sex. That was all he wanted from her, but it didn't mean that he couldn't appreciate her personality and interests as well. Besides, as King Bee, Liam just "knew" a lot of things. Like what other guys his "conquests" hung out with. Nate just happened to be one of the many that Dytto seemed to be close with. "Later," he said as a farewell to Frederick, as the guy left the room. He still couldn't put his face to the actual name of Frederick, so until he had the time to ask someone about the kid's name, he was going to stick with "bro".

To: Dytto
Good, you scared me there. London's not gonna give af... but on that note, I need to ask you something. And you have to promise that you're not gonna say no without actually considering it, okay?

To: William
Sounds good I'll see you at the barbecue then

He only had two texts that needed to be responded to this time around, since London and Katherine both seemed to want to play hard to get. Which was cool with him. He could do hard to get. He was already sure that he would have London back in bed with him by the end of the month, and though Kat would be a little trickier, he wasn't all that worried. Since when had Liam wanted a girl, and not gotten her? Never. Not once. No one was out of his league, and he believed that if he kept being confident in that respect, that would never change. With that in mind, as he headed into his bedroom, he decided to text Farrah as well. Farrah was just a friend, but it wasn't because Liam thought he had been friend zoned or anything. He would never admit to that, even if it was the case, but it genuinely didn't seem to be so here. He and Farrah just got along in a friend way, and that was cool with him. He didn't need every girl vying for a second date with him. Sometimes, it was nice to just have a girl who he could go to for advice, or to grab a bite to eat with, and Farrah was that kind of girl. The fact that he didn't hold the same mentality as many, of Farrah being a bitch, was certainly helped due to the fact that they were both A-listers, however.

To: Farrah
Wow, Farrah. Thought I would've gotten a "hello" from you by now. You better find me at the barbecue. I went all summer without my favorite prep. Don't wanna continue that streak for another day.

Esperanza sighed, closing her bag up. She wasn't in the mood for any more packing. She knew that this was a mistake, and she wanted to just disappear. Even the Palm Springs trailer park sounded like a better place than this room. She pursed her lips, tapping her foot anxiously. The lack of response from her best friend scared her. She knew she was done for. The life that she had built to hide everything was gone, and it was the damn party from her junior year's fault. If she hadn't have made out with that girl, Jenna wasn't it? She wouldn't have to deal with the problem she had now. But perhaps it was time for Esper to show her true colors. She glanced at her phone, not even caring anymore about who texted her. "Good, I really don't need any tears to be shed, because then I'm gonna cry," the girl huffed. She chuckled dryly, turning around to look out the window and wipe the single tear that was beginning to form on her visage."I only cry when I'm drunk, at least that's what I'm told," she responded, almost sniffling. She kind of wished that the barbecue would start soon because then she could actually get her mind off things by doing her favorite things, making people feel bad about themselves.

Esperanza made a gagging noise at London's plea. This bitch could not be serious. She dramatically turned around, hair flipping as she pivoted. A scowl formed on her facial features. ["Seriously, fuck you London. I just told you my biggest secret and hinted about a sort of crush and now you're on my ass about it? No me gusta!" she said in an annoyed manner. Her dark orbs rolled as she tried to come up with an excuse. "You know I don't do feelings, like I'm a cold hearted bitch. I don't even know how I really feel. This could be like some sort of innocent school girl crush that will go away once I meet the 'woman of my dreams,'" she continued. She flung her arms around dramatically. A smile finally came onto her face. London somehow could cheer Esper up even when she was in the bitchiest mood. The woman truly was a queen. "What's in it for me?" she said in a mock three year old voice. The childish side of Esper was showing. Her eyes darted around the room, thinking there was a clock on the wall. "On a serious note, what time is it? And when's the barbecue going to start? I'm craving some ribs. Or perhaps a big ass burger. I need a really good quality meal after I've been eating shitty camping food."

She snatched the phone next to her and began responding to her texts. Esper wasn't one to leave messages unread forever. She was one of those people who responded to her texts faster than a normal human being. It was almost like she had no friends, but she had lots of friends. Way more than those nerds and other outcasts.

To Dytto:
Whatever. I might come over to your dorm when I'm done unpacking. Gotta see my other friends before the barbecue.

Frederick shared Nathan's soft smile. He and Nathan were not best friends per say, but they were friendly towards each other. There was not need for them to hate each other. Frederick was always nice to everyone he met and Nathan seemed way nicer than what was on the surface. And they both shared a mutual friend. Dytto. So their friendliness was more than enough. Nathan left the room and Dytto's door was shut.

The nerd sat and grabbed the controller that he imagined was used by Nathan before he left. "I want the Cheeze-its." He told her. Freddy was not a big fan of snacks, but it was a long car ride from his home to Crossroads. After unpacking he played a hand held game. He does not really remember the last time he ate real food. Probably before he left. But this snack was highly necessary. Then he could have the feast of a king at the barbeque. "I have been practicing different gaming techniques all summer. There is no way you could beat me."

Frederick worked for a good portion of the summer. Unlike his good friends Natalya and Dytto, he did not have a lot of money. He gets buy by working over the summer and stocking up his bank account. His parents do send him money every now and then, but for the most part he is on his own. When he wasn't working, he was playing video games. He was getting better than usual. And he was determined to beat Dytto. "Hey. Where is Natalya?" he asked curiously. She had texted him earlier, but he has not seen or heard from her since.

Farrah had completely forgotten about her neighbors and most of her problems. That is usually what happens when she is dancing. It makes her feel better about life. It also makes her forget about issues that she should not be worried about. Like living next door to Dytto. Or Nathan and Esper being best friends with Dytto. Those are problems that she will just need to get over. Farrah was half expecting for the brunette to bang on the wall and tell her to shut up. Of course the dancer would not listen and probable instigate a fight. There was a chime and she took a quick break from the dancing. Message from Esper, Will, and Liam.

To: Esper
I think you are right. Anyway. I will see you at the barbeque?

To: Soccer
I am not helping you move in. Get Liam to do it. And I will see you at the barbeque.

To: Liam
The streak will end today. Gotta see my favorite royal.

Farrah had managed to keep in contact with William all summer. He is the only person that knows about her relationship status with Nathan. She trusted him to keep the secret to his grave. Or at least until she felt like it was okay to tell people. Honestly, Farrah has no idea when. The dancer turned the music up and returned to dancing her heart out. No one needs her right now so she does not plan on stopping anytime soon.

She was so lost in her dance that she did not even notice who walked in. It wasn't until they made eye contact that she realized Nathan actually came to her room. Farrah stopped dancing immediately and smiled brightly. She turned the music down just a tad. She did not want Dytto to hear them still. "I was." She responded, walking closer to him. "Did Miss Dee send you over to get me to turn my music down?" Farrah's voice was dripping with some hatred, but she kept her voice playful. It was her boyfriend's best friend after all. "Because if that is the case, I suddenly feel the urge to turn the volume all the way until my speaker burst."

The driver settled all of William's things in his room and then waited to be dismissed. The soon to be duke did not even noticed that the older man was just standing at the doorway. Will had decided to admire the view. He got the beach front which was nice. Maybe his friends would want to go to the beach this weekend. That would be a great get together. He will bring it up to Liam and see what he thinks. He might have plans already for a reunion party. Or maybe Farrah. He will just have to find out. "Sir?' Will turned around to see and impatient driver. "Oh. Thank you. I can take it from here." He said, a bright smile on his face. The driver nodded and swiftly exited. Before unpacking, William checked his phone.

To: Dancer
Fine. I will see you soon.

To: Liam
Or you could help me move in like a good friend would. Farrah told me to ask you since she does not feel obligate to help.

Setting the phone down, William started unpacking the simple things, like his clothes. His father had arranged for the extras to be here for him when he arrived. There was a tv that needed setting up and some other things that needed assembling. He did not feel like dealing with all of that by himself. He was hoping one of his friends would be kind of do that for him. Speaking of friends, Natalya came to mind.

They have been talking pretty much all summer and he started to like her, as a friend. He has not heard from her since he has landed. Will decided to shoot her a quick text message to make sure that she was okay.

To: Russian
Are you moved into Crossroads yet?

Nathan's smirk, and he would deny it vehemently if anyone other than the dance team co-captain called him on it, morphed into a much softer smile the second his eyes met with Farrah's. In the beginning of their relationship, you wouldn't have caught such an expression on his face. He had guarded himself in the beginning and yet, somehow, this one girl managed to soften the edges he swore were too rough to be smoothed out. It still freaked him out, to be quite honest. He was just good at not showing it until he was alone - away from Dytto and the others, away from her.

But he didn't have time to delve into such a depressing train of thought because Farrah's smile was radiant and she was within reach. Nathan didn't hesitate to place his hands on her trim waist, fingers clutching her curvy hips as he pulled his girlfriend - really should not get such a damn kick out of being able to say that in his head when he couldn't say it out loud - much closer. "Actually, Miss Smarty Pants, she told me not to even bother, for your information," he retorted, amused at the animosity between the two girls. It was actually unfounded and hardly had much of a cause. They were just two competitive artists who happened to both be close to him in different ways. Neither of them had much of an actual reason to hate each other so passionately and yet...here they all were. "I missed you," came the absolutely unguarded blurt that had heat rushing to Nate's cheeks the second the words fell from his mouth. But he couldn't bring himself to take them back because...well, one, he was a man of his words. Two, he wasn't about to ruin his own street cred - even in public to stutter over some...sappy dialogue.

What he could do, however - and did - was lean down and kiss the girl in his arms. Wasn't like anyone else was going to see him being the sap that he was. Not even your own best friend, a traitorous voice in his head chimed in, but he adamantly refused to acknowledge it.

Dytto's grin never faltered as Fred made himself comfortable in her room and laughing lightly at him, she pulled the box of Cheeze-its she had stashed on the second off-white chair and handed it to him. "Have at 'em!" As her friend proceeded to dig in, Dytto pulled her phone back out to her face, wondering only for a brief moment if Farrah was laying it on Nathan for interrupting her or if she was simply ignoring him since music was still playing. However, the texts she received both from Liam and Esperanza gave her pause. They both made her inquisitive and Dytto hated when she wasn't at least...partially in the know about things.

With Esperanza came, and inquisitiveness probably wasn't the correct term, an anxiety that Dytto could feel in her gut. A - and she hated the cliche phrase, but damn it if it didn't fit! - swam of butterflies were throwing a bitch fit in her stomach. Her flight-or-fight instincts on overdrive. Some part of her yearned to see those moments when Esperanza wasn't trying to put on some dramatic, abrasive show but smiling softer, being less harsh - being someone who honestly made Dytto smile. Like, really smile. The other part, the inquisitive, wondered about their future interactions. Now with Jon-Jon outta the way, she thought before instantly trying to find some part of her that regretted thinking it. But she couldn't. Shouldn't she feel bad that she thought one of the guys that she believed to be her friend had been in the way? Probably...but also, in the way of what, exactly? She had already decided - remained ever resolute - on not touching Esperanza. Not even looking at her too...too not like she's not supposed to. Right?

And with Liam came...wariness. Whenever they text one another, it was always teasing, sometimes taunting. Always - or at least, most of the time - flirty, seductive. Seeing who could get under the other's skin faster. It wasn't like Liam was a potential...anything more; Dytto hadn't even considered it and maybe yet needed to be added to that, but at the moment, she was very secure in admitting that she honestly was using him - as much as he was using her - for sex. Good sex. Great sex. Sex that had her more worn out than a cheer routine in the middle of a championship competition. Sex that had her ready to smoke a cigarette after a glass of wine and she neither drank wine nor smoked cigarettes. Barely even smoked weed - but the picture was clear. They provided each other pleasure. Which was why she had to eye her phone for a hot second, a suspicious eyebrow rose. What did this boy want from her now? And why did she have to actually consider whatever the fuck was on his mind, especially if such phrasing suggested she probably wasn't gonna be happy about it? Was it not enough that she rode him like a '63 only over 48 hours ago? The worst part of it was that she wouldn't even be surprised if it was a sexual thing, to be quite honest. It was her own fault, she eventually reasoned, as she typed out her responses before focusing on her current guest.

With great sexual prowess comes great burdens, after all.

She chuckled at Fred before chucking her long, red plaid vest off and onto the floor, before proceeding to crawl towards the game station on the television stand where she kept her collection of video games. "Talk is cheap, hot shot," she shot at Fred with a daring grin before gesturing towards the neat row of games. "Future loser's pick. And Nat should be on her way, but lemme check. Has to make you feel better after I whoop dat ass." It was all in good joking and she was always teasing when it came to Fred, even if she honestly thought he was the better gamer. He had skill and Dytto could admit it: she only had luck. Good luck, but luck nonetheless.

Katherine thought that she could get away with actually just meeting London and Esperanza at the barbecue in a little while, but only a few minutes after leaving the girl in Esper's room, her bedroom door opened, and in came London. Normally, Katherine was very social. She enjoyed talking and hearing her own voice, and having people to converse with. That was especially true when it came to London, and should have been confirmed to an even greater extent today, since she had went a while during the summer without even seeing her blonde partner in crime. After the morning she had though, all she wanted to do was curl up in bed and go to sleep. Well, she wanted to curl up in a bed that was located in a different room and go to sleep. Even with all of her things arranged in this room, her refusal to allow herself to feel at home made it impossible for her to feel comfortable in the bedroom. In her mind, that just translated to its "aura being off" and resulted in her sending a text message to her father, claiming that she was going to fail all of her classes that year, against her own will, because the vibes of the room were already working against her. Deanna's rude response deserved a comeback as well, but Katherine was stumped on what to respond with. That was always her issue with Dytto. The girl had a quick wit to her that Katherine just didn't possess, and she hated knowing that her stepsister could one up her. That was another reason for why text-fighting was easier, because it gave Kat time to think about her responses, unlike face to face fights where she was deemed a moron if she couldn't come up with a comeback in a millisecond like Dytto always could.

Eventually, and just before London had come in, she responded saying, "You're literally so rude. I don't understand why you won't give me my room back when I asked you so nicely in the beginning." Trying to flip the situation to make herself seem like the victim was a typical card Kat pulled, and calling the room hers, and acting as if Dytto had actually taken it from her, was something that wasn't new to this conversation that was probably getting very old for everyone at this point. She just couldn't give it up yet, though. Not to Dytto, and especially not to Dytto when she still possessed the taunting attitude that her mother had told her to lose. Just as London walked in, she decided to follow that text up with another lie, in her last ditch attempt at convincing her stepsister to swap with her.

To: Deanna
If you don't switch with me I'm moving off campus and you're going to have to drive home every morning to pick me up and then drive home after classes to drop me off too

She was going to respond to Liam with a dismissive respose, but the second London walked in, she set her phone down. It probably would have been better and easier to just tell London that Liam was reaching out to her, and brush it off as if he were a disgusting pig, but for some reason, she opted against mentioning it. When London entered, she set her phone down on the table beside her bed and stepped towards her closet, but didn't enter it like she wanted to do, because London was already addressing her. Of course, like the rest of the world, she had clearly sided with Kat's step-family on the bedroom issue. So typical. If it were anyone other than London, Katherine would have told them to shut up because they didn't understand, but she kept herself composed because she knew better than to snap on London like that. Not when she knew that the blonde was right, and her energy probably was bringing down the first-day-mood. It was impossible to be happy knowing that she wasn't getting her way, though. "Fine, but I'm going to have to spend every weekend in Beverly Hills if I want to survive this year. I'm not living in this room for any longer than I have to," she said, a frown radiating the defeat she was feeling, though she knew that regardless of her admitting defeat verbally, she would still press the issue with her stepsister. "Aren't you going to Natalya's stupid party tomorrow? I'm not going, especially since I know I have to go home for the weekends now. I'd rather be in Beverly Hills than at another one of her dumb parties anyway."

She had waited to respond to London's reference to Esperanza until the end, because she knew that it partly wasn't true, and that if Esper had said that, she was lying to appease London, and also because even if Esper was going to be nice, Kat knew it wasn't going to be enough to make living in this room doable. "And I've been nice to her since day one, so like, yeah, I'll keep being nice to her. She's just always so rude to me for no reason, but I'll try to be the bigger person if that's what you're asking," she explained in a voice that was innocent as she could muster up. She stepped further into her closet then, hoping that could be the end of the conversation. "And I just found out that Deanna made a sex tape with Liam, and she basically offered to show me it, so you better watch your back in that room too. Like, I'm telling you, she's a freak. She might put cameras in the shower or something. Like, I guarantee that the only reason why she won't switch with me is because she wants to hook up with you. She's seriously that weird," she said plainly as she began to look through her clothes. The "sex tape" remark was a typical exaggeration for Katherine, where she would take something, such as Dytto saying she had a picture of her and Liam, and stretch it to a remarkable length into a completely different story.

It didn't take very long for Dytto to answer his text, but it felt like forever since he was staring at his phone. Even Will and Farah's texts popping up in between, and distracting him for a few seconds as he typed out a response didn't make the wait time for Dytto's text seem much shorter. London's was more important, but he didn't allow himself to acknowledge that, and opted to push her buttons instead. William and Farrah were both good friends, so their texts kept him engrossed for a second, but they didn't compare to what he wanted from Dytto, and it was probably more telling than coincidental that she wasn't too far off with her guess at what he wanted.

To: London
Bitter?

To: William
Yeah yeah alright I guess I'll do my good deed of the day. What room are you in?

To: Farrah
Smh, I'm hearing that you're not just lazy with me, but too lazy to even help Will move in? Got enough energy to run a dance team but not help out your friends? Wowwwww Farrah. Thought you would be better than that

To: Dytto
As long as your stepsister doesn't count as an animal, my request should be valid.

From what he knew of Dytto's relationship with Katherine, he guessed that she probably fell just as low as an animal on Dytto's list of potential threesome mates, but Liam wasn't going to take no as an answer on this one. He hadn't kept his desire to add Katherine to his list of conquests a secret from many of his guy friends, and he might have even told Dytto too, though he wasn't sure, since he was also aware that bringing that up would probably take a good shot at her libido, and whenever he was with her, they were usually too busy to actually talk much anyway. He doubted Kat would be better in bed than her stepsister, and he definitely wasn't looking to lose the latter to the former, but if anyone could somehow convince both of them to get into bed together, it was Liam. Or at least he thought so. And really, what guy could blame him for fantasizing over that? Katherine and Dytto were both beyond hot, and both cool. Them not being blood-related didn't make it weird or incestual, and call him weird for it, but knowing that the two of them didn't get along made him crave it even more. The fact that Kat just so happened to be London's best friend, and sleeping with her would somehow make him feel like he were making London jealous, helped in his desire there too.

To: Dytto
Come on, consider it. You already got to live out your fantasy by just getting to see me naked. Now let me FINALLY get an ounce of pleasure out of all of this.

He didn't let her reject the idea right away, at least not until after he sent that followup text. Knowing that William still wasn't on campus yet, he allowed himself a few more minutes of relaxation time in his room and collapsed onto his bed, kicking his shoes off and waiting for one of the three to answer.
