1. God-modding is unacceptable, if you do it I being the almighty god with strike your character down where they stand and they will be dead. No no if ands or buts about it.

2. Anime pictures will not be accepted. Real images only!

3. Please take the sex scenes to PM (If you wish).

4. No character limit, so no need to reserve characters.

5. Although there is no character limit it is advised that you do not to make more characters than you can handle. If at some point you become overwhelmed we could always come up with some crazy fun way to kill them off.

6. Swearing is fine but let's not over do it.

7. Waging wars and battles are going to happen in this rp. If you get hurt in battle you meant not die but if you get injured act like your injured.

8. Please stick to the character sheet but don't be afraid to spice it up and add to it. If you want to added so extra details and stuff feel free.

9. Be respectful. What happens in the IC stays in the IC. No one wants drama in OOC. At least I don't.

10. No one line posts! If I wanted one liners I would have created this rp in Free Roleplay section. One liner’s to me don’t really advance the story. So try to at least type a paragraph or two. Am not looking for novels. If you need help with ideas, bring it up in the OOC and we can all together come up with something.

11. I am a fan of a lot tv shows that takes place in medieval eras. If you want to make a character based around your favorite character or something like that is fine. Just spice it up and twist things around and make the character your own. (Personally I love Daenerys so fair warning look out for dragons)

12. Real life can be unexpected and hectic at times. I get it am in college so trust me I know. I would like it if everyone could post daily but I understand that they may not happen. So just be dedicated and post as often as you can. Dedication and activeness is how role-plays stay alive. I want this to live and strive and be almighty and powerful =D .

Tenanye smiled graciously as King Robert greeted her with a kingly bow, inviting her as a guest to the revelry.

"Arigato gozimasu." She nodded.

Then in a surprising and drunken breech of etiquette, He leaned over and nudged her gently and called her attention to the sad looking young lad drinking alone.

Her advisor Qi seemed to be more interested in the young man then she was. Tenanye was not unaware of her beauty, and in time as an Ambassador she could use that to her advantage but as Queen, she had to protect herself from situations like this. She looked over at the man named Orys and recognized the expression.

He was overwhelmed.

Tenanye smiled at the King's suggestion. "Of course. Your Majesty," She said and made her way over to the man ordering Qi to stand aside.

"Konbanwa." She said to the new prince and the King of Drake.

"Good evening." She said and bowed to the two. "I am Pr-Queen Tenanye Ananse," She said, flushing some at the mistake she'd caught herself making. "A pleasure to meet you both." She said with a soft smile.

"Are you daft, Lass." Davos barked in a hushed tone. Robyn laughed as he snatched her wrist. "Daft, no, Perhaps a little mad." She said with a shrug.

Risking her life was something she did on a daily, this was merely fun for her, she hoped she'd cause a bit of a riot.

"Escaping the dungeon. They found the body of the guard you killed. They want your head. I can't save you twice."

"My head, my arse, They all want some part of me, I really don't much concern of it." She said nonchalancly.

Then a thought struck Davos.

"What business parnter...?What have you gotten yourself into?"

Robyn laughed, it was scary given that fact that she was sober.

"Oh, you're concerned about what I've gotten myself into, Where was then concern when I was 8? Hmm?" She said and began dancing with him.

She seemed completely insane but actually, she was scanning the room, She saw The Spider Queen, as well as Cryus slinking by, King Moloch with Orys and now the Spider Queen and King Robert off, fondling the maid who Robyn thought couldn't possibly walk up right if she wanted to.

"As for my business parnter, You could come with me and find out?" She said and stopped. "It'll be fun."

Orys tried to smile but found little joy into him to do so. He turned to Moloch, his closest friend and shook his head.

"I don't feel like a Prince Moloch. I certainly don't feel like a king..."

Orys sighed and rubbed his brow with his thumb and fore finger. Looking up and out onto the sea of people feasting and drinking all Orys wanted to do was get on his horse and ride off. Turning to Moloch he couldn't help but marvel at his friend. Now he looked like a king. Noble, regal, proud, wise, stern and collected. He exhumed rule and authority, Orys could never imagine doing the same thing.

"It's different for you, my friend. You were born to rule. I never... I never expected this. I thought, sure I'd take over Storm's End when my father passed. I'd serve as a lord, protect my keep and small folk but King? No... You were born a prince, trained since birth to rule. I was trained to ride a horse, swing a sword, bear a shield, kill my enemies but not rule."

Orys downed his cup and grimaced as the strong drink went down his throat. He wondered if his uncle had made the right choice. He wondered why his uncle had made the choice at all. It was true he had no true born children but surely there were better choices than he? His father for instance. Stannis was Robert's younger brother. Who better to inherit? Stannis was intelligent, justice minded and fair. He'd been Lord of Storm's End Orys' entire life. He knew how to rule, he would have made a resplendent king. What manner of king Orys would be was anybody's guess.

Before the two friends could talk any further a foreign beauty approached the pair. Orys did not recognize her but new instantly she was not maiden of the South Pacific. Her suntanned skin was almost perfectly bronzed and her hair was black as night. Her eyes were exotic and haunted, her build curvaceous but only just so. She was no buxom lass but instead a elegantly built woman.

"Good evening."

She said with a bow.

"I am Pr-Queen Tenanye Ananse, A pleasure to meet you both."

Her words were spoken softly and her smile was softer still. Orys found himself put at ease, even if it was just for a moment.

"The pleasure is ours I assure you, Your Grace."

Orys said only after he rose. Instinctively he bowed and wondered if princes were supposed to bow. Given as he wasn't certain he figured it best to be corrected if he was wrong rather than refrain from doing so and being thought of as rude. After he straitened himself he introduced himself to the foreign Queen.

"I am... Prince Orys Baratheon."

The epithet felt alien on his tongue yet Orys swallowed it all the same. He'd need to get used to it.

While the royals greeted each other a smuggler danced with a pirate. Davos tried his best to act natural but his nerves and concern were getting the better of him.

"I was always concerned for you, I still am. Why do you think I...."

Davos didn't have time to explain away a life time of bad decisions nor did he truly believe he could. All he could do was concern himself with the here and now and here and now Robyn could very well be getting herself in water hot enough to boil a crab.

"Doesn't matter. What matters is this job of yours, this employer."

Davos paused to glance around the tent to see if anyone was watching them. He felt like every eye in the kingdom was on them and knew what they were talking about. In truth not a single man, woman, child or dancing monkey noticed them.

"They caught you once and they can do it again. Next time... Robyn please, whatever this folly is drop it. Don't do it for me, do it for yourself. No good can come of it."

Tenanye curtseied in return to Orys.

"I am Prince Orys Baratheon."He said, doubt hidden in his words. Tenanye could understand, empathize.

"Well, Your uncle seems to be under the impression that I could lighten your mood, What say you?" she asked as she took a seat beside him but a safe, friendly distance but enough that he could hear her soft voice over the merrymaking.

She looked around and found herself a bit overwhelmed. She didn't want to be away from Anansai but she had to. They needed help, desperately.

"I'd like to congratulate you on your heirship as well..." She said, but knowing the look on his face, it was probably the last thing he wanted to hear.

Robyn could only laugh as her mere presence had Davos paranoid.

"They caught you once, they can do it again. Next time..." He paused, and Robyn scoffed.

"Hardly."

"Robyn please, whatever this folly is drop it. Don't do it for me, do it for yourself, No good can come from it."

Robyn smiled, a genuine one. not the fake, wicked sneer she usually wore.

"My last 'folly' lead me to you." She said, uncharacteristically soft.

"Davos...I am wanted all over the world. do you really believe I'd let these tired knights and soldiers take me in so easily. Granted it was an ambush but I could escaped years ago. I stayed so I could see you, everyday." She said, honestly, a rare thing for her, being so honest. "With this new opportunity, I can disappear...you can come with me, and your wife and son. You don't belong here...You don't owe them anything." She said, her large brown eyes staring into his.[/font]

Orys tried a smile, attempted one at least but it was weak and lack luster. He didn't want congratulations just then. He was still processing the revelation. The fact that everyone had seemingly just moved on from the shock of it helped not. He had found out he would be king not more than an hour ago. Since then the whole damned court has gotten good and drunk, has been dancing, singing and carrying on as if everything little thing in the world was as it should be. Yet to Orys Baratheon nothing could have been farther from the truth. The crushing responsibility that came with kingship was not something he took lightly. He would do his duty as his father had taught him but he feared how well he would be able to carry out his duty. Would he be a good king?

Turning back to his empty cup he called for more wine. The cup was refilled with the strong brew in mere moments. Another long sip to steady his nerves and the man that would one day be the future king fell into a brooding silence. His eyes drifted across the crowd of revelers. Nobles and lords, knights and ladies all dancing and enjoying the feast. He even spotted Davos dancing with a pretty woman he didn't recognize.

Davos however was not as carefree as he seemed to the crowned prince. No, in fact he was anything but. His mind and heart were at war with one another. Robyn wanted him to join her, to come with him but she didn't understand. Maybe she never did and never will.

"You're wrong lass."

He said sadly.

"I owe them everything, I owe him. Stannis raised me up. He gave me a future I could have never reached on my own, gave a future to my family I could have never given them. They have stability now, safety. They won't go hungry or wonder when the next supper will come, or if they will lose their husband and father to pirates or the city watch."

Davos sighed and stroked his beard.

"I did, we did what we did because we had no choice. Growing up in Flea Bottom what other options were open to us? But now my son squires for Lord Stannis, he'll be a knight one day. My wife dresses in finery she only ever dreamed of in Flea Bottom. We have a nice, squat keep in the Storm Land's that we call home. Is that what you want me to throw away? For what? So I can load up my son and wife on a cramped little boat under the cover of night and take off on the sea to do god's knows what for god's know who, putting them in constant danger? I don't want that for them any more than I want it for you."

His hands grabbed hers and their dancing stopped.

"Please, lass. You have a chance now. Take a ship and leave this mess behind, leave me behind. Forget about the old smuggler who gave you peaches, forget about Flea Bottom, forget about King's Landing. Forget it all and go live your life somewhere. I can't help you. I failed you already and now it's too late but you can still help yourself. Go across the sea, you're smart you can do anything you want. But don't do this, don't throw your life away."

Robyn felt pressure behind her eyes. He went on and on about things he knew nothing about.

Did he think she'd ask him-no beg him to leave the lap of luxury for a ship?

He took her hands and they stopped.

"Please, lass. You have a chance now. Take a ship and leave this mess behind, leave me behind. Forget about the old smuggler who gave you peaches, forget about Flea Bottom, forget about King's Landing. Forget it all amd go live your life somewhere. I can't help you, I failed you already and now it's too late but you can still help yourself. Go across the sea, you're smart you can do anything you want. But don't do this, don't throw your life away."

Robyn blinked once and a lone tear rolled down her cheek as she looked at him wide eyed.

Her mouth opened but for a short moment nothing came out.

"H-how?" She began, her voice shaking. "How could I forget the only person, in the world who ever..." With that more tears followed. "You cared for me when no one did, How dare you tell me to forget you? I can't. It's not possible." She said, biting her lip to try to stop it's quivering.

She squeezed his hands and looked him in the eyes.

"I'd lay awake at night, praying you'd find me and you expect me to...forget...the closest thing I had to a father...to family...to anything?" She said, her voice cracking, her hands trembling.

"Davos, I took this job, because I can do just what you said, I can live my life in relative peace but I only want peace if you are there with me." She said, a small sob exiting her throat before she had time to catch it.

"I want to go with you..."

Robyn bit her lip, and her hands fell to her side

"Was it so easy to forget me?" She said quietly looking down at the floor, the same gesture she'd had done so long ago. "Was it? Leaving Flea Bottom, you could just leave me behind as easily as you claim I should. What was I to you? You had family, so what was I? Just a good deed? I don't understand, Make me understand because, you sit here and you tell me to forget, like it is simple..." She said her voice rising some as she glared at him but not enough to call attention to them. " Like you meant nothing to me, like everything I ever did since breaking out of that damned cage, in hopes of finding you, meant nothing!" She said and damn near bit her tongue at the rate her teeth were chattering.

She wrapped her arms around herself, shivering, tears rolling down her bronze cheeks as she closed her eyes. "I tried...but...I can't..."

She looked up at him, her eyes glazed by falling tears. "I love you..." She said. "Did you ever love me?"

Tenanye looked over at Orys as he ordered for another drink.

She looked down. "My apologizes..." She said. "The look on your face is nothing of a happy one, I could only assume that it had to due with you beco ing heir so suddenly but I felt it would be rude not to say." She said and looked around the room.

The people of Anansai were shameless revelers, Tenanye herself loved to dance but now, with her current state of mind, it was all just a bunch of noise and nonsense.

"Atleast you aren't alone..."

"As I was..." she added in her head. With that a small house spider crawled up from underneath the dias, it's web had been brushed away it seemed to. Tenanye smiled and scooped the lone spider into her palm and watched as it examined her skin.

Tenanye sighed melancholically watching the spider, feeling as if she knew just how the spider felt, it's home destroyed and now would work tirelessly to repair the damage.

Tenanye felt a yawn and turned. She hadn't the slightest idea of when she last slept, and while mediation helped, it was far from the same as sleep. "Pardon me." She said and smiled some as she set the spider down.

The city was lit only by torches and the last rays of a dying sun as the Queen's Fury pulled into the docks. Other ships followed spewing out men eager for drink, a meal, a a warm bed, but from the Queen's Fury stepped forth the golden queen flanked by her Royal Hoplites. Each of the Hoplites carried a spear and shield with a sword belted at thier side, thier armor shined a bluish silver with a blue trident emblazed on chest and shield,
Behind the Hoplite guard two women in simple silver robes followed. Handmaidans of the queen they would seem harmless to those who knew not that they where of the orcales the most feared and powerful of the Atlantian mages.
So made up the royal party of the queen, a party soon met the dock officer.

"Who be ye lass causing the dock to stir?"

A hoplite raised his spear but Ariana waved him off as she took a step forward and removed her helmet "I am Ariana of Atlantia, Queen of the Atlantians. I seek to met your King"

Amelia stood out on her balcony looking down at all the festivities taking place below her. If there was one thing King Robert knew how to do it was throw a grand party. Since day one of the tourney there had been feasts and drinks and good times all around but on this final day King Robert had truly out done himself. As the king had predicted his nephew had been crowned victory of the jousting competition, which had giving Orys reputation most likely came as a surprise to none. Even though he had fallen Amelia was immensely proved on her old knight for Ser Jorah had fought with everything he had and in doing so honor himself, his queen and his kingdom.

The shock of the evening had come in Robert's speech. What she had thought was going to be a short speech of congratulations and pride had been that and so much more. She had known something big was coming the king spoke of all of Orys great feats and victories but even she hadn't anticipated what Robert had up his sleeve. The gods knew the queen surely didn't see it coming. Robert had made Orys his successor and now the next king to rule over the seven kingdoms. She wondered how Orys felt about that as she retreated back into her room.

Her room was far from empty as like the king she was currently hosting many guests. She had told the princess of the South Atlantic kingdom that she would consider her offer to forged an alliances between their kingdoms and that she had. Amelia had held many meetings with both of her advisors Ser Jorah and Ser Barristan in days past. While neither knight had at first thought the alliance to be a grand idea in the beginning Amelia had fought them both on the matter. She felt that Princess Kenna was right about her needing to gain allies outside of the South Pacific and more importantly she genuinely liked Kenna and saw a fire in the girl that reminded her of herself.

Her fellow knights had not gotten on board until after the half-gods of the Kingdom of Tripartite had agreed to ally themselves with the South Atlantic Kingdom. In joining in an alliance with the South Atlantic Kingdom she also allied herself with the Kingdom of Tripartite. Which was enough for both Jorah and Barristan to get on board. She wasn't sure if this would lead to problems down the line but that wasn't her primary concern at the moment. "Were missing the celebration. Let us adjourn for now. We can tighten up all matters when we dock in the South Atlantic."

With the tourney now at an end all foreign guest would be returning to their homelands. Instead of returning home immediately Amelia and her men would be taking a detour to the South Atlantic. There all things between the three kingdoms would be finalized and than Amelia would return home. "Well let us go now before we are seen as rude guests." Ushering out the princess, her lady-in-waiting and the four half-gods the Silver Queen was ready to partake in the festivities.

The week spent in the South Pacific kingdom had proven to be fruitful for both herself and her kingdom. She had come to Robert's tourney in hopes of forging new alliances and that was exactly what she had done. While she had hoped Queen Amelia would accept her offer she had been doubtful due to the queen's ties to the king. She was fearful that the king's alliance with the drake king would hinder any chance of her and the Silver Queen's kingdoms becoming allies. This was why when the royal cousins of the Kingdom of Tripartite arrived during day two of Robert's tourney she and Davina had convinced them to support her kingdom. It was not long after the half-gods agreed that Amelia herself had come around.

It was now the final day of the tourney and the victor had been crowned. Surprisingly Orys had not only won the title of victor of his uncle's tourney games but he was also now the newly crowned prince of the South Pacific kingdom. Kenna along with Davina, Ajax, Dalila, Jasunr, Mira and Amelia sat in Amelia's room. After the tourney had ended the the festivities began the seven newly-made friends and future had retreated to Amelia's to talk of things to come. Amelia clearly was bored of talk and wished to rejoin the rest of population. "Were missing the celebration. Let us adjourn for now. We can tighten up all matters when we dock in the South Atlantic." Kenna nodded in agreement as she too wished to join in on the festivities. She was in a joyful mood and had much to celebrate as everything was currently coming together for the young princess. "Well let us go now before we are seen as rude guests." Both Kenna and Davina laughed as Amelia began ushering everyone out of her room.

The sun was setting and the atmosphere surrounding the festival was one up life and happiest. Entering one of the many set up tents with her lady-in-waiting on her arm Kenna mixed and mingle with nobles from all across the lands. There were many servants walking about with trays of drink and foods a plenty. Kenna wasn't a big drinker but despite her small frame she quite the hardy appetite. The two girls seperated after some time together as Davina mingled and Kenna went to indulge herself in the delectable foods set about.

Western Desert
Caliphate of Andalusia

Night comes swiftly to the desert and for the men of Drake Kingdom it would be a darkness and silence like nothing they would have ever experienced before. The Spice Road, built a thousand years before, is little more than a sunken track marked every half kilometer by great white marble columns, the only sign of a road constantly buried and reburied by the shifting sand.

When darkness falls however the pillars take on a ghostly white hue and blend into their background and one might find themselves completely lost in the wasteland of ever moving dunes. The landscape can change overnight leaving those who leave the Spice Road to die if they have made the foolish mistake of indulging in a midnight march.

Even the magic seems different here, strange, foreign and altogether more potent than one might expect. The stars seem to burn brighter, the air to be crisper and the silence deafening. There are no man made lights along the Spice Road until the City of Al Qaşr, five hundred kilometres of endless sand, sun and baking desert heat.

There is life in this wasteland however, small lizards, many snakes and smaller beasts that borrow in the sand. Even small carnivores can be seen from time to time and the bones of a thousand larger beasts that have become lost, or failed to find water, gleam in the darkness.

Men too can be seen, distant lines of nomadic camel caravans travelling across the high dunes, guided by a thousand years of desert wisdom. Then of course there are the soldiers of the Caliphate. Wiry men wrapped in desert coloured robes with black turbans that cover all but their piercing eyes. Mounted on camels and armed with wicked lances they are the masters of their desert home. The bones of a thousand horses and their masters lie as a testament to the superiority of the camels in this deep desert.

For the soldiers of Drake Kingdom the first signs of life would have been the lone camel rider watching them from a distant dune top, stationary against the wind that tugged at his robes and forced the green pennant on his lance to snap in the wind. He made no move to approach the heavily armed force, rather he dogged their footsteps, an ever present shadow as the day wore on. More riders joined him one by one until five of them matched the Drake Knights as they followed the ancient markers of the Spice Road.

Then, just as the sun dipped and gave its final flash of light, they vanished into the desert again. Night comes swiftly here and within an hour the blazing sky dimmed to nothing and the great ceiling of stars was thrown across the desert in a display that is matched nowhere else.

For the Caliphate soldiers it is their finest hour for they have longed learned to navigate their desert by the stars, just as a sailor might the sea. They know the location of hidden wells and safe places to spend the night. It is here that we find a small patrol, only a half dozen men, mounting for their nighttime journey to greet the men of the west.

The camels move swiftly and silently over the sand at a pace that no horse can hope to match. They are led by a Shawish, or Sergeant at Arms. He is not more than four and twenty but is a hardened desert fighter named for his slain father Saheeb.

Saheeb peered through the darkness as his camel moved swiftly along and, as he suspected, he smelled the Drake Knights before he saw them, the wind blowing their scent right to him. They stank of sweat, horses and saddle sores, a rich scent in the desert where few other smells can be detected by humans.

“Sound the horn.” He ordered to the man who rode next to him. The other dutifully raised a small horn to his lips and gave it a long low blast.

Then he saw the dark shapes ahead, moving swiftly under the moon that was beginning to rise above them. He approved of their actions, not hurried or panicked but precise, men who knew their business. A second low blast from the horn brought stillness and he knew that they would be wondering where it came from; sound was difficult to pinpoint in the vest desert.

Like all men who wished to achieve rank in the Caliphate, Saheeb had learned the common tongue of the Western men and he halted his camel now, calling out towards the black shapes that seemed to be waiting for more. His accent was soft and smooth as those of his people tended to be.

“Men of Drake Kingdom. I greet you to the Caliphate. I am Saheeb, Soldier of Caliph. We come close?”

His grasp of the language was not perfect but it was enough to convey his meaning. He settled back into his saddle, watching the dark shapes carefully. He knew that, to them, he would be invisible, for a great dune was to his back and he would be naught but a shadow within a shadow.

Malaga
Caliphate of Andalusia

Ahmad Toukan shuffled slowly, his feet bound by the chains that had held him in place since his capture a month before. He was weak after three weeks at sea locked in the belly of a slave galley despite a lifetime on the ocean. No one here spared him a glance where once they would have dropped to their knees at his approach and begged for mercy. No one would recognize him as the once mighty “El Tazar”, or “The Barracuda” in the common tongue of the white men. There had been a time when his name inspired fear, images of a bold sea faring rogue but he had at last lost his battle with the Caliphs men and been run to ground in the Far East.

His ships had burned, his crews had been slaughtered and he had been taken prisoner after an enemy sailor had struck him across the back of the head with the shaft of a pike. He had dropped and known nothing more until he awoke in the hold of a slave ship. The worst fate a man could expect in the Caliphate.

There were of course many horrible ways to die but nothing would stay with a man longer than being condemned to labour until death. This was to be his fate, to die in the great gold mines of Tebezza in the heart of the Ocean of Fire. He would be sent underground and never again would he feel the wind on his face, the sun on his skin nor smell the salt of the sea. He would die forgotten.

A whip cracked, its tipped teeth raking his skin so that he arched his back in agony. He would not cry out. He would not give his captors the satisfaction. They all knew who he was, it was no secret to them and they had taken every opportunity they could to repay him for the fear he had lavished upon them for fifteen years.

He was one of many in the long line of shackled figures. All men who had served in his pirate fleet, all of them taken by surprise a month ago when the Caliphs Galleys had descended without warning upon their hideaway. He would have liked to tell himself they fought well, gave the Caliphs men a beating but it had been shameful. The majority of his captains had surrender without a fight, to drunk or senseless to prevent their capture. Only he, Ahmad Toukan, and a handful of men had managed to snatch up their weapons and tried fight their way free, instead they had been hooked down by long pikes and not a single Caliphate soldier had died. A pathetic end to so notorious a legend.

The shackles were heavy on his feet and hands, linked together so that he was forced to stoop as he walked due to his height. His once proud beard had been shaved off and his long flowing hair hacked from his skull. His pride was gone, his ship was gone, and soon his life would be worth nothing.

They were led onto the high stage one by one and forced to their knees as a slaver pinched, prodded, and displayed them to a massive crowd come to bid on the latest of the slave shipments. He, like the rest of his crew, was given into the lot reserved only for hard labour.

“300!” Shouted one as Ahmed was turned slowly for all to see. “He has muscles for labour and a bum we can sell to others!” A laugh accompanied the words and Ahmed felt his cheeks burn with shame.

“500!” Cried out another voice. This from a man who must have weighed nearly three hundred pounds, his fat arm waving from a litter carried by a dozen sweating men.

The bidding continued but in the end the fat man had his way, 1,500 gold ingots would be the price he paid for El Tazar. The money was collected and Ahmed was unshackled from the long line and led away to the litter where the fat man stared down at him.

“Look at me slave.” He said and when Ahmed did not respond a bodyguard stepped forward, slammed his fist into Ahmeds stomach and then wrenched his head back with the rope that was around his neck. Ahmed nearly choked and was desperately trying to breath as he looked up into the piggy little eyes that stared down at him. He did not like what he saw.

“Nothing wrong with a little spirit.” Said the fat man. “But I will soon have that out of you. I need strong bodies in the mines, nothing more.” He glanced over the kneeling figure then jerked his head towards a cluster of slaves that stood under the watch of more guards.

“Put him with the rest. I will bid on the females and then we can go.”

Still unable to breath or move, Ahmed was dragged over to the others and added onto the slave line. His sufferings had only just begun.

Moloch, King's Landing

Moloch looked upon his old friend, allowing kindness to seep into his features. It was not often that he could afford to show compassion without the undercurrent of command in his tone, but here, among his friends and equals, he felt he could. He gripped Orys' arm.

"Do you think I came to my throne under ideal circumstances? My parents were murdered and my own nobles plotted with our enemies to usurp the throne. I was armed only with my intellect and force of will to oppose my enemies and protect my city, my people, and my little brother. If I couldn't rally my people to war at that time, I do not doubt that I would not be alive right now."

He paused for a moment, smiling slightly at his friend, "Of course, you would say that I couldn't have done it without your uncle's support and you would be right. My army was superior, but outnumbered. But, you will not be alone either. You have your uncle, your father, and the love of your people. Lord Stannis disagrees with his brother nine times out of ten if I recall correctly, but he is always there for him. How much more would he be there for you, his own son and one of the few people he values outside of Ser Jorah?

"You also give yourself too little credit. You are an incredible warrior. I would be hard-pressed to defeat you in battle. You excel on and off the battlefield. You are wise and just. You have your father's mind, but you have your uncle's heart. It is a potent combination. The gods favor you. And, if it comes down to it, you will always have me as a friend."

He allowed his words to hang in the air for a moment. He eyed Princess Kenna across the room as well as Queen Amelia. He was beginning to have his suspicions about just who was joining her, but he had no definite proof yet. He continued, his voice sterner this time, but not accusatory. Rather, he was totally honest.

"But you will have to make difficult choices, Orys. Will you be willing to betray me if my enemies are more numerous and powerful than before? What if Queen Amelia rode out against me at Princess Kenna of the South Atlantic Kingdom? Would you join me? Her? Or will you find a way to dissuade her?"

Again, Moloch looked on Orys with compassion, "Don't worry, though. No matter what happens, I will always consider you my friend."

Western Desert
Caliphate of Andalusia

The desert was everything Kallias had read about. The sun scorched the desert with its light an one could see for miles. He and his men sweated beneath their heavy armor and it was only thanks to their Andalusian guide that they had not gotten lost or become dehydrated as he directed them to the oases hidden in the desert. Kallis did not complain once. Despite his luxurious upbringing, he was too enamored with the beauty around him to care about his discomfort. He even ordered a rest at dusk so he could watch the sun set.

"It is beautiful. You say that you can guide us using the stars?" Kallias asked. The guide had donned his country's clothes and Kallias could not help but mark how at ease he looked in his turban and loose clothes.

"Yes, my prince. My people had learn to use stars Al-'Uzzá made. The sands move," his guide stated.

They had rested only a couple hours when they set out again. They had traveled only a while before they ere hailed by a contingent of the Caliphate's soldiers. Kallias grinned and waved at them.

"Of course! Come close! I am Prince Kallias of Drake, here to pay my respects to your Caliph!"

The company's old magi grunted. The prince could play the diplomat, he'd give the boy that. Still, he was far too reckless.

Caliphate of Andalusia

Farid stood nervously outside the door leading to the Caliph's rooms. He was aware that the Caliph could easily order his death if he displeased him. The tales that the older servants told about the current Caliph's father was still used as a bedtime story to teach the younger servants and slaves to behave. His mother hadn't liked him to hear them, but she could never stop him from listening, especially now that she was dead.

Still, it was past sundown and he was ordered to bring the Caliph and the general visiting him refreshments. If the Caliph was displeased, he felt that he wouldn't blame him and, who knows, he might catch a glimpse of Princess Zahida. He knocked the on the door and held the tray in front of him.

Orys could not help but stare at his friend, the king of Drake. His words had struck him like a slap to the face, a slap that shakes a complaining child from a tantrum. He was right, with the casual calm resolve that made Moloch famous he was right. While Orys had been sitting their whining like a boy he was a man that most of the kingdom looked up to. A warrior that had proven himself time and time again on the battlefield. A commander who had been able to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat when lesser plans were lost in the winds of chaos. A champion to the people and a hero to the realm yet above all these things he was a Baratheon.

While the Westerlands had it's Gold, the Reach had it's fertile soil or Drake had it's dragon bones the Storm Lands where the Baratheon's hail from have only one thing in abundance, strife. The Storm Lands have no gold or silver in it's stone nor nourishing soil with which to plant crops. It's land is unforgiving and bleak, a land of wicked storms and hard stone. It is as a direct result of this that the House Baratheon has produced such hardy and fierce men. From the first Baratheon, Durren Baratheon who slew a mountain god to claim his home and lady love, to Axel the Conqueror who united the whole of the South Pacific beneath the might of his armies to even his own uncle Robert, the war hero who fought to keep his throne and expel the traitors from his realm. He was from a line of conquerors, from warrior kings. Perhaps the blood of the stag bred not just strength in men but the ability to rule.

A fire sparked in Orys' eyes as his mind and heart filled with resolve and determination. Yet as Moloch spoke something he said gave the son of Stannis pause.

"But you will have to make difficult choices, Orys. Will you be willing to betray me if my enemies are more numerous and powerful than before? What if Queen Amelia rode out against me at Princess Kenna of the South Atlantic Kingdom? Would you join me? Her? Or will you find a way to dissuade her? Don't worry, though. No matter what happens, I will always consider you my friend."

Orys turned to Moloch and locked his gaze with his closest friend, the king and the future king.

"I have no brothers of my own Moloch, only a sister who is still a child. You have fought beside me, bled beside me, those are not things easily cast aside for the pretty smile of a woman. Amelia is my friend as you are but I would never stand against either of you. If she ever joined against you I would ensure it never came to bloodshed, you have my word on that. As for Kenna, or any of the others.... You are my brother now and always, in victory and defeat. By the Old Gods and The New I swear it."

Orys grasped Moloch's forearm and shook it firmly in friendship.

Oaths of friendship and brotherhood were being made by the royals but down below on the dancing floor where a smuggler twirled with a pirate danger loomed. Two knights wreathed in armor of sterling white and polished silver approached, putting a hand on either shoulder of the woman.

"What's the meaning of this, then?"

Davos asked in terror. One of the Knights of the King's guard scowled at him from behind his helm.

"This is no business of yours Onion Knight, this one is to come with us."

Davos was not about to let them just haul her off, his hand grasped hers and he clenched his fist.

"I am the sworn shield of Lord Stannis Baratheon of Storm's End, brother to the king, perhaps we should find out what his lordship thinks of this random arrest with no cause. This woman has done no crime."

The knights seemed ill moved.

"Tell your lord then, makes little difference. Our orders come from the Queen herself."

Davos' eyes went wide, he knew his hope was lost. At least for the moment. He looked at Robyn and he knew the look staring back at him, betrayal. She would no doubt see this as another betrayal but she would never see that he never wanted this. He had no way of knowing. He would have to find out what the queen wanted with Robyn and quickly if he had any hopes of saving her life. Davos begrudgingly released his hold on Robyn's hand and the knights led her out of the pavilion and up to the Red Keep.

Robyn felt the knights approach her. Her little outburst she figured must have alerted the authority.

They placed a firm grip on her shoulder. "You two haven't even offered me a drink...?" Robyn said, putting back up those that she only ever let down for Davos.

"What is the meaning of this?" Davos asked, fearing what Robyn already knew.

"This is no business of yours. Onion Knight, this one is to come with us." A knight said and Robyn was moments away from pulling her hidden wrist dagger and slitting his throat so he could choke on this words, however, Davos gripped her hand and Robyn's lips parted some in a small inaudible gasp. She hadn't expected that. It put her on pause.
"I am the sworn shield of Lord Stannis Baratheon of Storm's End, Brother of the King, perhaps we should find out what his lordship thinks of this random arrest with no cause. This woman has done no crime."

Robyn felt a smile twerk her lips, and she gripped his hand.

"Tell your lord then, makes little difference. Our orders come from the Queen herself."

She couldn't get free, not here. There were knights everywhere, she could take out atleast four but without her flintlock and sword, she might as well be naked.

Davos' grip loosened and Robyn realized he was abandoning her...yet again. Her head was cocked, her brow furrowed.
After all of that, all the things he said...

She gripped his hand only for his to open as the knight tugged her away.

"Fine...If that's what you want..."

With that, The Crimson Lady had made her return, as she was lead out and up to the Red Keep and toward Queen Ceresi.

Captain Sheva let her dagger steathly slid down her wrist into her palm and with a sudden breakaway spin, jutting out her arm, she slit the throat of the man on her left, only to have the one of the right grab her from behind, she shifted her weight and flipped the man on his back, she grabbed his right arm, and snapped it at the joint and in the same swift move, she placed her foot on his throat and pressed down, holding the dagger out at the Queen.
"That's the problem with armor...the joints are never
properly protected." She said watching the man that sarcastically called Davos the Onion Knight choke on his own blood.

"Now, I am in a really sour mood, you may want to speak quickly as he is dying and this one is well on his way..." She said, digging her foot into his throat.

"You obviously aren't going to arrest me...or you would have sent more guards...What do you want?"

Blending into the crowd Davina conversed with many fine nobleman while keeping her eyes on the Drake King who sat a mere few feet away. The recent good fortune of gaining not one but two new allies for the kingdom filled Kenna with bliss. She was so indulged in her blissfulness that she had begun to lower her guard in favor of enjoying the king's splendid party. While Davina too was also happy she had not forgotten where they were and although they were not technically in enemy territory their enemy was among them.

Standing in a small circle of three Davina stood with Sansa Stark of Winterfell and Margaery Tyrell of Highgarden. The ladies spoke of Robert's shocking reveal, what a grand tourney it had been and how they were saddened by it's end. Davina might have been there in body but her mind and focus was still on the King Moloch. She had never once spoken a word to the man and yet she still held a profound dislike for the man. She noticed the way he eyed not only her queen but the Dragon Queen as well.

The Drake King was known for many things including his intellect. It wouldn't surprise her one bit if he was suspicious of Kenna's motives here in Robert's kingdom. In fact if he wasn't at least a little skeptical that would be surprising. They way that he eyed the two woman across the room made Davina sure he's mind was at work trying to figure out what exactly was going on. "Excuse me for a moment. I must speak with my queen."

Excusing herself Davina maneuvered her way through the crowd until she reached Kenna who busily at work devouring the food in front of her. I think the Drake King in speculating." She spoke a hushed whisper that only her queen's ears could hear, "Should we be concerned if he is?" Kenna looked past her lady at Moloch who sat with the Orys and appeared to also be talking in hushed voices. What does he say?"

Davina quieted the voices around her and listened on the Moloch and Orys's conversation. She hadn't picked up on all of what Moloch had said but she caught him asking, "What if Queen Amelia rode out against me at Princess Kenna of the South Atlantic Kingdom? Would you join me? Her? Or will you find a way to dissuade her? " He was definitely speculating. "He asks what the future king would do if the Dragon Queen was to side with us against him. Who'd side would he take up arms against." Kenna contained her composure on the surface but Davina could her the young princess's heart beat quicken in pace. She was worried. "And what does he say?"

Davina listened in closer tuning out the sound of the music, voices and everything else that was distracting. "He wouldn't go against either of them. As for us and any others he would fight with the Drake King against all." Kenna wasn't exactly sure if that was suppose to be good news or bad. "Meaning?" Davina gave Kenna a reassuring smile. "As long as we have Queen Amelia on our side I don't think we have anything to fear from the South Pacific. Orys says he would not go against her and I believe his uncle would feel the same. If Amelia stood with us in war this kingdom would not stand in our way."

Kenna breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank the gods!" Everything was slowly falling into place. She hadn't brought up her plans of war when discussing the alliances with either Amelia or the ruling cousins but they had to know going into this that they was a possibility. The history between the South Atlantic and Drake was well known throughout the lands and sooner or later either the kingdom or city would fall. With Drake standing alone and the South Atlantic allied with two other powerful kingdoms the odds appeared to be in her favor. However, she wasn't going to get ahead of herself. She wouldn't make the same mistake her father had. If she decided to go to war the the city of Drake she would not fail. She would make sure that Drake City fail never to rise again.

The ruling monarchy of the kingdom of Tripartite had arrived on day two of Robert's tourney. Ajax had probably been the most upset by there fashionable late arrival as it kept him from participating in the jousting segment of the tourney that he was so confident he'd be the victor of. While his cousins ignore him they knew that he was probably right but whatever the case the tourney was over and Orys stood the victor of his uncle's tourney. Despite they're none involvement in the games the tourney had been far from uneventful for them. The shocking revelation made by the king had been surprising to all especially his newly announced heir and scorned wife.

While the tourney itself had been thrilling and greatly entertaining the best part of the whole event had been the new friendships formed and alliances to come. It was Jasunr who had been approached by the beautiful Princess of the South Atlantic with the idea of forming ties between their kingdoms. Jasunr was not ignorant to the turmoil between the kingdom of the South Atlantic and the city of Drake. Nor were his cousins to which each had reacted differently when he brought up the case of Kenna's plight to them. Dalila concerned and worried about the possibility of war while Ajax seemed delighted by the prospect of war. His sister was a different case as she was indifferent to the idea of war.

There had been hours of discussion between the four but in the end they had decided to side with the young princess and whatever followed that choice they would deal with when the time came. So far the repercussions of their unanimous decision had been good as they not only gained the support of one kingdom but two. The Mother of Dragons Amelia Stormborn had like them been approached by princess Kenna and had agreed to not only ally herself with the South Atlantic Kingdom but the Kingdom of Tripartite as well.

Now standing amongst other nobles and royals of the different lands in one of the many tents set up a mere few feet from where the jousting competition had been held. Mira stood with Queen Amelia as they chatted and giggled amongst themselves. Dalila had captured the attention of several men and was being her usual gracious and charming self. The Kings of Tripartite had been enjoying themselves with drink and food when the noticed princess Kenna and her lady Davina huddled together talking in hushed whispers. Now was not the time for such things. Now was the time to celebrate and enjoy the festivities that Robert granted his guests on the last night of the tourney. Being the chivalrous men that they were they approached the two fair ladies and gave a courteous bow as Ajax extend a hand to Kenna and Jasunr to Davina. "Would you two ladies care to dance?" Ajax asked with that charming grin of his.

Ariana wove though the crowd locking on face after face hoping to find one of the leaders of the kingdoms that shared a border with hers whether on land or at sea. The two Atlantic kingdoms, The City of Drake rumored to be built on dragon bones, the unknown kingdoms to the north of the united ocean, and then the king of the very nation this party was being held.
Ariana then past by the Atlantician queens only to note them being chated up by an unknown male. He seemed the flirt and not the type of male Ariana wished words with. So Ariana moved on though the party her guard clinging to her very move.
Finally Ariana caught sight of the king's table. Here sat what looked to be nobles of both Drake and the host kingdom.
Ariana took a bow and then spoke "I am Ariana of Atlantia, Queen of the Empire of Atlantia and here to meet with the kings and princes of the land, to usher peace and trade with them."

Moloch paused for a moment, considering Orys' words. He was unwilling to fight either of them. That could be a problem. However, that didn't mean Orys couldn't aid him against the South Atlantic Kingdom. He could still attack Princess Kenna's forces. Then there was the Caliphate...

"I am Ariana of Atlantia, Queen of the Empire of Atlantia and here to meet with the kings and princes of the land, to usher peace and trade with them."

Moloch looked up, interested in the young queen before him. He had heard of Atlantia, though the empire had been in decline recently. However, this was a new monarch. It was curious how many of the crowned heads of the world were of similar age. Perhaps it was the plan of the gods.

"Greeteings, Queen Ariana. I am Moloch, King of the Drake Kingdom. We are always happy to greet another people in trade and friendship. I trust you had a pleasant journey here? Beside me is Prince Orys, heir to the South Pacific Kingdom, and Queen Tenanye of the Anansi."

Western Desert
Caliphate of Andalusia

The Caliphs soldiers approached in the darkness, watching for any signs of treachery. As they drew closer the horses of the Drake men shied away from the camels, a common occurrence for camels are not only much larger than a horse but their smell is very foreign as well. Saheeb had drawn a small golden figurine from under his robes and now, as they halted a dozen paces from the Drake Knights he murmured several words to the figurine and tossed it to the sand.

In an instant the golden figure had seemingly melted into the sand and a woman’s figure rose, a sandy shape that walked forward several paces and then bowed most correctly to Prince Kallias. Then it spoke flawlessly in the Common tongue.

“Prince Kallias. You are most welcome to the Caliphate of Andalusia. The Caliph himself is aware of your coming and has asked me to direct you to Al Qasr.” The sand woman’s face was finely formed and almost beautiful in the moonlight that now washed across her. “These soldiers will provide you an escort to the Western Gateway where I will greet you personally. Until then my lord.”

The figure offered another bow and in an instant vanished into the sand again as if it had never been.

Sevilla
Caliphate of Andalusia

The knock on the towers lower door came as the sun was dipping on the horizon. The Caliph sighed and stretched his back as he listened to the exchange between the serving boy and the bodyguard. Farid was prized for his ability to do his duties quietly and without comment, a skill the Caliph prized in any servant but few could accomplish so well.

The General didn’t even glance up from where he was writing as the serving boy and a bodyguard appeared on the tower roof. The Caliph noted the look of amazement on the boys face and smiled to himself, he doubted the boy had ever been to the top of the Caliphs Tower before, the view was an incredible one.

A pot of steaming mint green tea was placed with two cups, then the boy bowed and backed away without a word, vanishing back into the tower with the bodyguard. Once the door had closed again the Caliph stood, stepping to the edge of the tower rampart and looking down over the city far below.

“We have built some amazing wonders in this desert land.” He said aloud and heard the General stand and made room for the other man to join him.

“Yes we have lord. It is no wonder they call this land the Jewel of the South.”

They were silent again until a sudden swirl of air made them both turn and a female shape formed itself before them. It bowed low to the Caliph who nodded in return.

“My lord Caliph, a Prince of the Drake Kingdom has crossed into our lands under the guidance of an Andalusian. One of our patrols has intercepted him. I welcomed him in your name and directed him to Al Qasr to await you orders.”

“Thank you Priestess. Please inform your sisters there that I will require a portal for myself by this evening. My personal regiment is also to transport to the city. We must greet this Drake Princling in the style I am sure he expects.”

“My lord.” The figure bowed again and vanished into nothing.

“A Prince of the Drake Kingdom…” The Caliph mused as he looked Westwards. “I wonder what mischief is brewing in the west to bring a man like this to our land.”

The South Pacific Kingdom

A woman moved through the crowd, a smile on her face that would have charmed the birds from the trees. She was shorter then the Western women by several inches but her beauty was undeniable. An hour glass figure, long black hair that fell to her waist in long curls, and slightly tanned skin that highlighted startlingly blue eyes.

She offered smiles to all and exchanged words with any who approached her. She bore no marks of a nation though it would be plain she was not a local, perhaps a citizen of the Triphate.

There was nothing sinister in her actions for all she did was listen, quietly marking everything she heard and saw. The alliances that formed, the word play between nobles, the glances and their implied meanings, all of it.

The Caliph had suspected that war might be in the offing and she was certain now that he had been right and that the lines were being drawn in the sand, and sides chosen. She knew well that the Caliph would not commit his own armies to any “White War” as he called them, but the Caliphate would eventually be affected one war or another.

She smiled once more as she looked to Orys almost flirtly as she spoke "Though I hear a great and strong man won.

The grand captial of the Atlantian empire rose form the shores of the mexican bay and the great United Ocean. New Atlantia named after the old captial built on the great islands. built to rule the empire as it grew and now vastly outshining her old sister.
But some sisters don't want the light of their elders. So sits Sylvia sister of Ariana alone in a dark tomb her eyes closed as she meditates. The silence is broken by the creaking sound of the crypt door and the sound of armored feet.
"I knew i'd find you here" spoke an armored man"Many matters require you..."
"Oh do shut up Desimus, you know well i have no desire for this"
"Desire or not it is your duty as your sister's hier"
"A job i never wanted" Sylvia sighed "But for my sister...Gods I hope she finds some prince to fill her with brat on this damn outing of hers"
Desimus just gave an akward look until Sylvia led the way out of the tomb.

"one glass and i speak to much" she laughed setting the empty wine glass down. Tenanye smiled stiffly. "So now i ask how fares ye three?"

"A little tired, but well, Thank you for asking." Tenanye spoke softly.

it was then her Advisor Qi sauntered over, clearly having his share of wineskin but managing.

"Milady,It seems that a Priestess from Andalusia has made an appearance "He whispered and Tenanye nodded. " Alright, Go, Make our presence known, I've been curious about them for some time now." She said, quietly and Qi nodded. "As you wish, Milady." He said and slipped away, toward the Priestess.

Kallias couldn't help it. The smell was terrible. He pinched his nose in order to keep the smell from entering his nostrils with little success. Most of his men resist the urge, though the magi spluttered as though he couldn't breathe while their guide didn't appear to have noticed it. However, Kallias forgot all about the unpleasant smell of the Caliphate's camels as a woman appeared out of the sand thanks to one of the Caliphate's soldiers planting it in the ground. He grinned in excitement.

"Well, Saras, can you do something like that?" Kallias asked the group's magi with a grin. The older men scowled but shook his head.

"All lands have their unique magics, Your Highness," the magi replied.

Kallias grinned, "Marvelous. Let us make haste. I have long wished to visit a city of the Caliphate."

It was a long day, a very long one indeed. Deacon was getting bored with the tourney, what kind of event is this without blood? Deacon smiled non-the-less, he knew how to put on a false face. The day was coming to an end and Deacon finally got the excitement he needed. Orys was crowned heir, this was a turn of events for sure. Orys was strong and brave, a worthy opponent in battle. Robert on the other hand, was old and fat. He wouldn't last a minute. Things were turning up. There was to be celebration afterwards, and Deacon would go home first to meet with Syrus about today's affairs. Unfortunately Deacon missed the captain, but it didn't matter, there would be time later. For now, they would go drink and meet kings and queens.

Deacon, Syrus and Leon entered the party a little late. People have already arrived that Deacon was expecting long ago. First order of business would be to congratulate the new heir to the throne, and maybe get a word or two with Moloch if times allows it. Deacon waved at Leon, and Leon pulled out an expensive bottle of wine from his satchel. Deacon held it in his hand and approached Orys. He was suddenly stopped by Syrus who motioned towards a lady in a red dress being arrested. He didn't have to say more, Deacon knew who she was. He nodded at Syrus and Syrus was on his way. Deacon approached the prince and respectfully bowed. "Fine showing today Prince Orys. I would like to congratulate you from the behalf of entire Fuarian lands, and present you with an ancient Fuarian wine. You will find that there is non other like this one." He looked at Moloch with a sinister smile, "King Moloch" he gave a short bow and then looked at the two new arrivals. Two strong queens, with their own perils. This could be exploited. "Ah Queen Tenanye and Queen Ariana, what a pleasure it is to finally meet the both of you." He bowed yet again. His damn back was hurting from all this nonsensical bowing. "My name is King Deacon of Fuaria, as I am sure you may have heard." Deacon was fully aware of who the two were.

Syrus made his way through the crowd, he didn't have his nickname for nothing, he knew how to hide and not be seen. He walked infront of Captain Sheva and made sure she saw him, he doubled back and hid in the crowd. He followed Captain Sheva and the guards up the red keep, this was a mighty stupid idea. If anyone would see him it would be an immediate declaration of war. Two guards he could kill and no one would realize, but things got a little complicated when the queen stood right there. Sheva made her own escape, dropping both guards to the floor in an instant. Deacon made a right decision recruiting her, she would be a very strong ally. Syrus wouldn't make any rash movements, he stayed far enough to not be seen, but close enough to hear what they would say.

Western Desert
Caliphate of Andalusia

The Caliphate soldiers would prove far abler guides than the Andalusian guide that the young Prince had commanded. They did not bother with the road, instead leading the party out into the desert waste, from one watering hole to the other. For three days they would cross the great sands, from oasis to oasis, always at night, sheltering during the day from the blazing sun above. Always at their front, growing larger in the distance now, was a single mountain, a guardian in the midst of the waste.

As it grew larger and they came closer it became obvious that the lower half of the mountain was covered in vegetation. The soldier in their lead nodded towards it and smiled, his lips parting to reveal white teeth as he named their destination. "Al Qasr."

The mountain thrust up, alone in the middle of the desert and it was quickly obvious that it formed only a small part of the chain of massive cliffs that spread from north to south. These cliffs, often known in the West as the "White Wall", towered some five hundred feet into the air and provided an unbroken barrier from the sea to the mountains known as the Spine of Andalusia to the north.

A river poured from the mountainside, rushing away towards the south where it would eventually enter the Antarctic Sea. It's entire length bore signs of habitation and human use and for the first time a small white washed Andalusian village could be seen. The villagers stared openly at the Drake Knights as they appeared from the desert, sliding down the sand dunes and onto the first of the hard baked earththat soon gave way to the greenery given life by the river.

A well made road, set with large marble stones, ran alongside the river here and the small party turned and rode northwards. As they approached the mountain the road began to switchback up the rock face along well built roadways, forever under the guard of the upper terraces.

They passed through multiple gateways as they climbed until at last they came to the final gateway and in its mouth stood a woman whose blue eyes shone from beneath her blue robes. Her face was well covered as she offered the young Prince a boy.

"Welcome my lord, to the City of Al Qasr, known in your tongue as the Western Gateway."

Western Desert
Caliphate of Andalusia

It grew apparent that they had been traveling during the wrong time of day. It was a lot more bearable to travel during the night. Was that how all people traveled in the Caliphate? Kallias did not know. The desert was beautiful and he wasn't the only one to think so. Several of his men could not help but glance at the sites with interest before returning to their professional, disinterested demeanor.

At long last, they reached civilization. The lush, green vegitation clashed greatly with the desert they emerged from, but what caught his attention was the boy and veiled woman greeting them at the final gateway into the great Western Gateway.

"Welcome my lord, to the City of Al Qasr, known in your tongue as the Western Gateway."

"You seem to have anticipated my purpose, if this boy is who I think he is. Hello, little brother," Kallias greeted brightly.

Farid, shifted, confused. He had been bathed and dressed in fine clothes so that his blonde hair showed brightly in the desert sun. His eyes were wide as he looked from the priestess to the foreigner before him. He hadn't questioned her when she demanded his prescence. One didn't question a Priestess of Andalusia. But now... He was speechless.
