History of Hellingly Asylum
Hellingly Asylum was built in the 1920's for the mentally and criminally insane. Since then many people have been sent here for many different reasons such as: murder, bipolar disorder, suicidal attempts and thoughts, attempt at murder, etc. Ever since the opening of the asylum, many patients have died in the building, causing other patients to believe the building is haunted. The nurses and other staff members went on believing that the patients were seeing and hearing things because of their said illness, they never believed it was true and they still don't to this very day.

Benji couldn't help but find himself disturbed by the uncharacteristic silence coming from Ezekiel, who was still seated to his right and hadn't made a peep for a few minutes. After rolling his eyes at his narrow scrape with violence that had been Cole's fist almost hitting his face, Benji turned his head and looked scrutinizingly at his fellow patient, checking to make sure that the boy wasn't drinking a virgin's blood, or whatever it was that he did in his free time. Benji was pretty sure that the cannibalism seemed accurate.
Instead of finding a pool of blood, he found something that was possibly even more ominous: Ezekiel opening his mouth to say something. Instead of the gibberish that Benji had expected, the reply was almost too ordinary to trust. "That's funny, Benji... Don't call me Ezzie," he said, accompanied with a typical cackle. Benji couldn't tell you with complete confidence that it was just his NPD which made him reply "Whatever you say, Ezzie," and shoulder-nudge his fellow patient in the condescending way that older brothers do after antagonizing and wrestling their younger sibling for relentless hours. Most of that was probably just Benji being the mocking douchebag that he is, something that not even medicating and hours of therapy could ever fix.
He didn't have much time to wait for a reaction, though, because New Girl took it upon herself to make the lounge at Hellingly her own dramatic stage, lamenting to the entire world that that "she murdered her best friend. Though she honestly deserved it." He'd expected this sort of verbal lash-out; he knew that he was in a mental asylum, for fuck's sake, not all the chicks are going to be exactly... stable, but he hadn't expected for her to up and leave. Not that it mattered much, anyway. After realizing that a simple proposition could make her have what seemed to be a full-brown breakdown (judging by the way that her room door slammed), Benji wasn't very interested in following through with that blowjob. He had enough self-preservation not to get caught up in that type of shit.
Rolling his eyes as so hard that only the whites of his eyes showed, Benji turned back to those who were still at his table and in his general answer, saying "Oooh, a psychotic episode. Cute." Every word, especially the last, dripped with sarcasm and condescension. He didn't show much of a change of attitude when Kristina and Lucy left, although the latter had made his eyebrows furrow just slightly; after she'd laughed at his advances, he thought that she was one of the good ones-- someone who could acknowledge the existence of sex without overreacting right along side people like Stella. These event made even Kira seem less insane, which might be why he inclined to reply to her "I didn't do anything wrong. I just wanted to play with the butterflies? Why would he rather die than be like me? Am I that bad?". Usually, he would ignore any words that came out of her mouth, something that he'd become an expert at after nearly a year in this asylum. Although he knew that his response would be anything but kind, Benji considered himself to be doing Kira a favor; his disorder gave him this warped perception of human interaction, the idea that everybody else's lives rotated around his, and that any interaction with him was godsent.
"Yeah, you kinda are that bad," Benji groaned, turning around to look at the pink-haired girl behind him. "You know why I care? Because. There. Aren't. Any. Butterflies. Not even a fuckin' moth. Shooting you wouldn't even be murder, really, it'd be a mercy killing." He rubbed his face, chuckling wryly. There really were too many fucking people to keep track of in this place. "Jesus Christ, why do you think that your family never visits you? Because you really are that bad."
Turning back to Landon, he offered the same sort of smile that people give when returning to a conversation after an inconvenient phone call, something that was entirely inappropriate for the face of someone who'd just attempted to crush a young girl's entire world. "Sorry about that, man. If you're not gonna storm outta here like the rest of these pussies, I'm still lookin' for a straight answer." After considering his words for a second as they hung in the air between the two boys, Benji smiled wide, showing his tongue where it was wedged between his two rows of teeth. "Or a gay answer, I guess."

"I don't even know anymore. I used to. I had grand plans. Now, I can't even get past the swirling darkness in my brain long enough to land on anything."
It was hard...seeing another's scars without being able to increase her own. Most of Lucy's waking moments were spent thinking about hurting herself. New ways to do it, new ways to hide it. But it was never how to stop it. Self harm had become such a big part of Lucy's lifestyle that she couldn't imagine herself without it. How would she cope?! Amidst her thoughts, Lucy noticed that some delicate fingers were dancing across her skin. Mmmm...that was comforting. Lucy watched them brush across her cuts and scars before retreating, leaving a gentle tingling sensation in her skin. Weird...she hadn't felt that since...No! She mustn't think of her. It's been a long time since that ship sailed.
"My other arm and both thighs look just like this."
Lucy's indifferent smirk instantly faded when Stella revealed just one arm full of battle wounds, and transformed to a saddened look of despair when she explained that most of her body looked this way. Lucy could only remain silent and empathetic as she leaned closer and wrapped her scarred arms around Stella's shoulders. She know all too well the feelings that drove someone to harm themselves so severely. "Its alright," she comforted, releasing the hug and staring down at her own wrists. "I know I should want to stop but...I don't..." she glanced up at Stella, her eyes watery.

"Please...don't leave me!" The desperate cries of a bloodied and broken Lucy echoed through her little apartment. "I can't deal with your shit anymore, Luce! Enough is enough!" Lucy's face, wet with tears, pleaded with her to stay. "I'm sorry! I know I should want to stop but..." Lucy dropped to her knees, wrists turned up. They were plastered with fresh cuts, some small and some large. Some were seeping with thick, hot blood while others were already starting to clot themselves shut. "Look at you...just..." She turned, picked up her back with a sigh and left, leaving Lucy bleeding in the middle of the lounge in their apartment. Gone. Gone....she was really gone. Lucy sobbed and sobbed, her chest shaking as she felt her life leave her with the blood from her wrists.

Lucy shook with the memory, her hands clenched tightly into fists. That was the worst time of her life, and one of the major times she tried to take her own life. What a horrible, horrible memory. Lucy suddenly lurched to her feet, her eyes wide with panic, and flew out of the room. She crashed through the hallway into the main 'common room' and found the nurses chatting about some pink haired patient who nearly 'flew off the handle again' and she careered towards them. She was crying, shaking, clawing at her own skin. "Please!! Please you have to help! I...I need something. I need to do it! Please! Please!" She begged and shrieked at the two startled nurses, but what she wanted she wasn't entirely sure. Something sharp? Medicine? A punch in the face?

Stella sat there in silence once she noticed that Lucy seemed to be a bit well...unsettle. She had no idea what to do or say at this point and she definitely didn't want to do or say anything wrong. The last thing she wanted to do was get into a fight with her. Lucy seemed nice and she wanted to at least try to be friends with her.
Though the one thing she wasn't expecting at all was when she stormed out of the room, almost as if she were in panic over something. Stella immediately stood from her bed and ran after her, just to see if she was alright. When she noticed she was in the common room begging the nurses for help and that she needed to do it, Stella sighed.
The brunette calmly stepped into the common room and took a seat on the opposite side of the room she was originally on. Hoping that with her being there she wouldn't have so much attention drawn her way.
Cole's hand was caught right in time when Richard came rushing too. "Ok, Cole, or is that you Hank? you better calm down...you know what happened last time". "Hank" turned and glared angrily and breathing heavily, he almost flipped out again when Benji just flip him off and ignored him. That not just made "Hank" angry but it hurt him inside, all his other personalities suddenly felt that ignorance. Luckily, Miss Jones was here and talked to him as Hank, "Hank, it's time for your appointment. Please come with me," . Cole turned and finally gave a little nod and followed Miss Jones to his appointment. "Alright....Alright....I will come" . His tone was still angry, but it was normal for that personality, but he looked somewhat calm.
As he followed Miss Jones' office he looked and knew that Richard guy will follow, to make sure no violent bursts will happen again. And of course, Hank did not like that but he didn't has a say in the matter. Just when he was almost out the lounge area he still heard the new girl announced herself to everyone, "Okay, look! I know everyone here knows I'm new and you want to know me. So I'll just go ahead and tell you because I'm tired of being studied and treated like I can't handle myself. My name is Stella Reynolds, my favorite color is blue, I was placed in here because numerous times I decided it would be a great idea to kill myself, my depression has constantly taken me over, causing me to harm myself and others. And the best part about this story, I murdered my best friend. Though she honestly deserved it. There, is everyone happy now?!" . Hank actually suddenly laughed, well, I guess that settled it . He gave a half-finger salute and left the lounge area after Miss Jones.
Amelia honestly couldn't believe everything she was witnessing. There hadn't been any kind of fight breaking out for a couple weeks, not until Stella had shown up. Was all of this about her? Part of her thought that it had been but she decided to just keep it to herself and ask both Cole, well "Hank" and Benji about it during their sessions.
"Alright...Alright...I will come." she heard "Hank" respond with his typical anger. Every time Cole had believed he was "Hank", he always seemed to sound angry, so it was easy to pinpoint if Hank was out or not, so to speak.
Upon making her way towards her office, she closed the door behind the two of them and sat down in her chair and waited for "Hank" to sit down as well.
As Amelia began to speak, she crossed her right leg over her left and placed her clipboard in her lap. "So, what was that little disagreement about back in the common room?" she questioned. She needed to know what was going on so she would be able to know what and who to look out for.
Of course numerous occasions in the past she noticed that Cole and Benji hadn't gotten along, but this was the first time a fist had risen. If those two were going to be nothing but harm to each other, she would have to let Richard know that he needed to keep a watchful eye on the two of them when they're around each other.

Dark. Dark and quiet. Dark and quiet and comfortable. Lucy's dry eyes fluttered open, the delicate eyelids cracking. She must have been out for a good few hours. By the awful taste in the back of her throat and the restraints around her wrists to her bed, she must have flipped again. Lucy couldn't really remember anything from the moment she sat down next to Stella on the bed. Either way, she felt good right now. Mellow and chilled, which could only mean that they tranquillized her. Lucy propped herself up on her elbows and blew the hair away from her face. She stank. She needed a shower pronto.
"Hey...HEY! NURSE!" she yelled, causing the on guard nurse to fling the door open in a panic. "Please...i'm okay. Can I just...can I go for a shower please?" The nurse disappeared, then emerged again with a small silver key. She released the locks on the cuffs and handed Lucy a little caddy with some shower products and sponges. Lucy smiled meekly, rubbing her wrists. She'd been here less than 24 hours and had a meltdown already.
Gathering her thoughts, Lucy padded barefoot through the hall and back to the common room, where she had to pass through to get to the showers. She spotted Stella and flushed. I wonder what happened... she thought to herself as she scurried through and into the shower block.

- Has escaped from many prisons, especially as a child, the only reason he hasn't left Hellingly Asylum is because he likes it there and even calls it "home."
- Despite being somewhat insanely optimistic, he refuses to talk about his own past and childhood. He has even killed someone because of it. {You can read it in the OOC section of his CS}
- His sense of humor can be credited to what he perceives to be wrong with the world around him, as he is often seen laughing at the pointlessly terrible and truly wrong. This gives an indication as to his true feelings on the matter as his laughter is seen as hollow at times. For instance, Ezekiel comments on finding funny even though a normal human being would consider it an abomination. Ezekiel only finds humor in what is wrong with humanity and points it out, highlighting it before attempting to either broaden the chaos around it or simply destroy it himself, often doing both in the process.

She's in the asylum forself-destructive behaviour, including suicide attempts and multiple assaults on other people. She's got an unannounced drug and alcohol problem and suffers from depressive mental health problems. a unique condition of delusion- Kira believes in fairy tales and that everyone she knows in reality is someone else from a fairy tale. She considers herself to her be an unnamed Princess, she never identifies herself in these delusions as anything other than a 'Princess' but she always insists she wears pink. These behaviours caused examples of destructive behaviour like attacking people because they were 'the big bad wolf' or 'monsters' but at the same time, she'd lock herself in the room and take to pills to try and knock herself out under the impression her 'true love's first kiss' would wake her- this has led to the idea of her being possibly suicidal, this isn't the case she just doesn't realise her behaviours and stunts could hurt her.
