ON THE SURFACE
Height: Francis stands at a bolstering six feet, or, as he refers to it, one hundred and eighty three centimeters.
Physical Appearance: Francis likes to dress in a semi casual way, which he believes helps him stand out in the crowd of his under-dressed peers. He is usually seen wearing a grey or white shirt with a black or grey sport jacket over it. Given the choice, he tries to wear fashionable jeans of a black or grey colour. He has to match, after all.
Normal Attire: Francis tends to dress between semi casual and formal attire in the company of others. However, when he is alone and has no one to impress, he enjoys lounging about in a stained blue jumper and matching jogging bottoms.
Accessories: While not usually worn, Francis is usually seen sporting a pair of shades, usually around his neck. While working at the bar, he has a tendency to bite and nibble on the end of the right earpiece when he's concentrating or nervous. He's completely unaware of the tick, since no one has yet pointed it out to him.
Other: Francis has a secret tattoo on his right shoulder blade of the comedy and tragedy faces. He finds it distasteful, and refuses to show it to anyone. Almost no one knows of its existence.
ON THE INSIDE
Personality: Francis is fiercely competitive. As a result, he has a hard time keeping friends around who are looking to become an actor like he is. Despite his obsession with being the best, he is a caring and thoughtful person to those around him. His select group of friends consider him a real stand up guy, loyal to a fault, and dependable. In secret, Francis is obsessed with appearances. He will go out of his way to make sure someone likes him, and then he will use their feelings to put himself forward in his goals. Hardly a bad word is said about him, which is carefully and meticulously planned with every action he takes.
Strengths: Francis is a superb actor, according to his friends. When he lands a role, he seems to disappear into it, becoming completely obsessed. Due to this, he has little time to lounge about and be lazy. With his ambitions, he also craves attention from others, and is quite the social butterfly.
Weaknesses: Because of his chosen career path, Francis is quick to anger. He also can be quite petty and insulting to the other actors working with him, making him a little difficult when he's riled up. He has a need to be in the spotlight, and has an intolerance for waiting too long to do something.
Likes: Acting, People, Being Adored, Tanned skin (on other people),
Dislikes: Boredom, Strawberries, Inquisitive Questions, Emotionless People, Being Ignored
Other: The system isn't perfect. Francis is terrified that he'll be found out as a fraud and lose everything he's worked so hard to maintain. As a result, he has kept his distance from entering romantic relationships, because he thinks that a brilliant girl will see right through him if she were to get a close enough look.
"History": Francis was born and raised in Derbyshire, in England. Since he was young, Francis dreamed of gracing the big screen, and being worshiped by millions. His mother, a fiery Irish barmaid, tried dissuading him from his career path by encouraging him to follow in his father's footsteps as a real estate broker. Francis ignored his mother's advice and snatched up every stage play role he could find. His father, a wealthy Englishman, encouraged his passion and got him the best schooling money could buy. Seeing a dwindling market of movie roles for young actors, Francis begged his father to send him across the pond to the United States, where he knew he could make a splash as the next new awkward Hugh Grant.
However, Francis quickly discovered that the acting scene in the city he moved to wasn't quite what he expected. Thinking quickly, Francis took a page out of his mother's handbook and became a bartender, figuring that the interactions with others would bolster his skills. He took to the job a little too well. Fearing that he would be stuck behind the bar for the rest of his life, Francis doubled down on his acting auditions, often forgoing sleep to make it to the next audition. He stole the mannerisms of his best customers, with mixed results. Francis has earned a few bit parts in the city, but nothing to really make his name stand out. Frustrated, Francis perseveres to strike out on his own.
eBAE FILES
The Perfect Date: Francis cares very little about the setting of a date, as long as it's a place that has at least a few people around. He'd much rather walk and have a deep conversation with his date than sit silently across a hundred yard table spearing a salad with a fork.
Francis' three choice adjectives: Creative, Passionate, and a little Intimidating
How Francis feels about eBae: Francis would scoff at the idea of even going near such a place, feeling that the best relationships are organic and with human beings, not some synthetic doll or robot. If confronted, he would make a small smug joke about it and change the subject, because, secretly, the idea of being compared to a lifeless husk of data terrifies him.
