Pack: Hemlock

Gender: Male

Description: The scraggly and unkempt Hemlock has sickly green fur with shades of yellow. His fur stands on ends especially around the neck and around his, often bushy, tail. Schemeko has blue eyes and above them is a yellow mark that symbolizes his familial ties to the Alpha. Much like a porcupine there are quills embedded in his fur that excrete his signature venom.

Personality: Schemeko, even at an young age had a sick sense of humor. Much to the detriment of others, Schemeko would play cruel pranks upon his fellow pack members. Luckily for him, his 'victims' wouldn't retaliate since he is the son of the Alpha. Schemeko was often scolded for his practical jokes that, more times than not, harmed the Wolf in question. Yet, no amount of scolding and punishment ever did bother Schemeko who would continue his malefic and mischievous ways. Schemeko is undeniably intelligent whose creativity and cunning is a source of pride for the Pack, a true prodigy some have dared to call him. Even so, the Hemlock is unstable dare say, insane, and only seems interested in furthering his own agendas

Abilities: Thanks to their particular diet of various venomous and poisonous sources of food, Schemeko has naturally developed a magnificently potent venom. His venom is considered the work of a prodigy as his strikes often entailed a long, painful, death for any unlucky creature. His venom is unique to all other Hemlocks having found a way to weaponize the disease-ridden bacteria found in the Swamps. A detail unbeknownst to most as to how he managed to do this is unknown to all but him.

Equipment: Poisoned Tipped Claws, Fangs, and Quills. He also makes use of his sinister intellect and clever way with words that often tricks, manipulates, and beguiles a great deal of his foes.

History: Born as one of the Alpha's sons, Schemeko has lived a life of privilege from the beginning. Although what one would see as the most desriable of lives, Schemeko found completely boring. He found no love, no joy in any of the gifts given to him and found friendship and family to be a waste of time. Instead the only thing that seemed to give him joy was the pain and torture of others. Whether it be from torturing prey to playing cruel jokes on his fellow Packmates, Schemeko at best was a degenerate and at worst a psychopath.

Having grown bored of life at home, Schemeko abandoned the Swamps in search of new victims to test his ever-developing venom. This wandering would lead him right to Cerise and her friends. At first Schemeko tried to deceive the group and lead them to one of his hideaways for research but ended up defending them from all sorts of dangers. Whether it be natural disasters or other deranged wolves, Schemeko's dastardly wit and deadly venom were key in keeping himself and his new "friends" alive.

After the episode with Rashid, Schemeko left Cerise and her friends alone no longer having the desire to do them harm. This was more out of exhaustion rather than kindness but nearly dying several times leaves an effect on a Wolf, even on someone like him. Schemeko returned to the Swamps and decided to round up his old gang intending to continue on his twisted games upon other unlucky wolves. One such wolf, happened to be Shamus, but the Hemlock saw something of himself inside the sly Saffron. Surprisingly he sent Felonious to accompany Shamus home as the Hemlock seeks to use him for some wicked purpose.

So begins...

Nova

Nova stared wearily as everything seemed to go ballistic. Shocks and shadows, threats and talk-downs, all seemingly out of nowhere. This was the kind of stress that had chased him away from the meeting that morning. He didn't know why he continued to put up with this mental strain. Not only did he have to worry about his enemies ambushing him at every turn, but his companion's personalities seemed so unstable sometimes that he risked getting killed just by triggering someone's bad memory.

Lifting his trembling paw, he noticed the small patch of ice that had crystallized where his pad had been. Wiping the nervous frost away, he took a deep breath, and looked up at Vesta, who was surprisingly cool, calm, and collected for being in a practical civil war zone. She looked noble perched on that rock. Fit her. Maybe she was so stoic because this was only her first time seeing this group having a meltdown. Maybe she should try asking Blue about her past, or talking back to Mydnyte. Then she'll have see these wolves aren't always keeping watch for.

Searching for good news, he was at least happy to report to himself that the feeling had returned to his limbs from the electric shock, save a strange tingling on the tip of his nose. Absentmindedly, he began to tug on the strap of his provision bag that saddled his back. One more outburst like this, and noble cause or not, he was gone. This little noble cause would sputter out before it even reached the foothills of the Vulcans. No, he wouldn't have it. If he was to save the world and stop Rashid, this little group of misfits could not be the vehicle to that end. This was not the group he had joined when he met Durandel along the lakeside, or saved Cerise from that tree. This lot of wolves didn't even know who the real enemy was. He didn't need them. He knew how to get by on his own, he could practically write the Ausi field manual on wilderness survival. Too bad there wasn't a section in there about how to deal with ballistic travel companions.

Despite this dread, Nova was resigned to give this group another yet another chance. Why, he didn't know. Blind hope, perhaps? But even that hope was getting old. And a new hope was no where to be found. "I'll scout ahead. Catch up when you get her to stop trying to kill us," Nova stated frostily, not bothering to specify the "her" in his comment as Amarok or Blue. His cool tone probably sounding out of place for someone who hadn't been following his thoughts, but why the devil should that matter. The others had their moments of drama, why not he.

The more he let himself dwell on the matter, the darker his mood became, and Nova began a brisk walk down the trail.
