Julius King

“Julius. Sorry to intrude but you need to come with us.” Julius was interrupted from his musings by a certain instructor he found himself less than eager to interact with lately. Despite his attitude, Julius still cocked his head to indicate he was listening at the very least to what Ryuu was saying.“Nathaniel Jenova has been taken in for “interrogation”. He is not human, but the things he can do cannot be left in the hands of those who have him. In saying this, we are going to get him out of there. You will be aiding us as a distraction. I’m sure you’d be very pleased to have me say that you’re familiars are very strong however you have little control over them. For what we’re about to do though, control won’t be an issue.”

At this point Julius couldn't keep a savage grin from his face, something like a form of validation. After all, Ryuu just said it herself - he was being picked for the simple fact that he had power while others didn't. Remarkably, Julius found out the conversation had taken place while they were walking so the atmosphere he'd previously been pondering on completely left the teen's memory.

"So how much power do we need? I've got a circle and everything prearranged for a third on me if you want it. Wait- back up, we're taking down another teacher just because he's not human? No offense or nothin, but where's that leave you if this isn't a faction thing? Julius found himself quickly back pedaling for information. After all if this was a faction thing he didn't want to take part in it - his concern was entirely focused on his own power and a faction in that regard would have too many responsibilities for him to properly focus on his work. Until he realized that Ryuu had already taken him far enough where he could back out.

"If this is a faction thing, I'm going to throw a temper tantrum you'll never forget" Strangely, Julius found himself rather resolved as he clapped his hands together and activated the summons therein. For the first time, both Aja and Regulus came out compliantly.
"Despite my short comings, I at least have that policy and won't compromise on while still backing up my declaration.

Salem quickly found his departure to the human realm to be a lengthy process after the Seraphim gave her ruling. First he had to make arrangements for the areas under his supervision, not a hard thing but still a lengthy process. The more difficult task was finding people willing to take care of what remained of his family, it took effort and more than a few promises and favors exchanged...but it was enough to at least ensure he shouldn't return to his residence in shambles if the world transitions weren't entirely out of synch. After all ideally, it would be as if he never left Aurae since mortal time was allegedly so fast.

" Well at the very least there will be no lack of excitement on the other side." Salem commented as his long strides carried him through the world transition hall. After all he wasn't just going to have to compete with any Infernal sources, but also his allies. Until he'd exhausted every possibility, he couldn't let his kind descend to senseless violence and commit murder out of fear. The angel paid little heed towards the voices of others around him that called out for various forms of preparation.

His clothing was simple cloth on the waist - it should still do. His manacles, spear, shield and sword he'd prepared to be stored on his person as mere trinkets until he needed them. As far as Salem's warrior sensibilities told him it was better to go into this foreign battleground as lightly encumbered impossible. As world transfer finally occurred, he was forced to shield his eyes from the radiance before cautiously attempting to open them again. His body was heavier, the air less nourishing and furthermore everything felt...smaller. His very being felt as if it was crammed into some kind of vessel too small to contain it and the world around him felt somehow less real and more fragile. But the biggest change was how tyrannically bright and warm the blue sky was... there was no love in this light, it was a harsh tyrannical thing.

"Poor forgotten children, how do you even live in a world like this...even the air feels dirty" Salem could only voice his thoughts while he looked at the sea of clouds bellow. It would seem he'd been slightly brought off course, at the very least he was too high. The angel quickly sought to land, one he was beneath the clouds a new sight met his eyes and again overwhelmed his sensibilities. A giant metal contraption of lights and noise, it positively radiated humans and their hollow feelings...even more so their shortcomings. Salem noted his own power shrinking into his new form, his natural luminescence slowly diminishing encouraged the angel to land with rather excessive haste and force to avoid having to fall. Unfortunately, the slightly less than real seeming ground fell into itself due to his haste...this world's fragility would take some time to learn.

Salem turned his gaze around in what patch of green amidst this sprawling human creation he landed in...a park perhaps? Regardless Salem quickly set to work, his hands moving quickly while he murmured. Soon beneath his feet mist formed, the mist shifted into glorious looking hounds which fell into line. It was a simple searching procedure from his military days.

"Find any of my fellows and alert me of their doings, reach out to any of the Faithful...as for demons...howl loud and clear" The hounds quickly split, after all they could be his eyes, ear and mouth if need be, furthermore their destruction would only alert him with the last thing the hound saw. Sooner than expected a hound found someone of Faith and Salem felt his throat constrict while he conveyed his message.

" Fellow child, Principality Aritos begs for aid." Salem didn't know enough, the human world was too different. He no longer felt secure in his usual dress and felt certain his scarred visage would be conspicuous...he needed a human. One that could teach him and hopefully assist him in his mission, he definitely wasn't prepared for the human world.

XXXXA pale white impression of the burning light above Levien remained in his sight despite closing his closed eyes and the arm thrown defensively over his face. Repeated blinking did not provide a solution. Such an unfriendly light to be welcomed by. Uncertain of the height he had appeared at, he turned to face the ground and began to spread his wings. He did not have enough time to fully expand them before being introduced to the bright green foliage of a tall tree. All the way through the tree's rough branches, he failed to grab a hold of anything sturdy enough to stop his fall. A barrage of painful branch hits later, he was dropped unceremoniously from the final arms of tree to the ground below. Groaning faintly in disapproval of the embarrassing event and rubbing the location of a possible bruise, he looked up to the terrestrial entity he was so intimately acquainted with. Giving in to a bit of amusement, he said to the tree, “Earth has quite the way with greetings, doesn't it?”

XXXXLeaving his arm to bruise as it willed, he turned his attention to what was in his hand. In place of the letter he had been tightly guarding was now a small earpiece. He had never used one quite like it before, but he was familiar enough with it. It was placed in his ear, for now, where it could let him hear from the Seraphim or allow him to report to her. He hoped for neither of those possibilities to become a reality.

XXXXHis gaze drifted back to the tree as he reflected on his distaste for Faida. He found the calm swaying of the tree's leaves to be rather captivating. He would like to think it was much more splendid a sight than trees in Aurae, but was aware of lacking a good reason for the biased preference. Getting to his feet and attempting rather fruitlessly to clean the dirt from his light clothes, he took in the companions of his tree greeter. All around, tree after tree stretched up into the sky, blocking the sun from the ground enough that no grass grew. Instead the dirt ground was occupied by saplings, flowers, and other uncertain foliage growths. Near and on some trees grew collections of what he assumed to be fungi. Everything was foreign and uncertain. The similarities they bore to things growing in Aurae were barely enough to give him a compass of understanding of the new life around him.

XXXXLevien glared at the dirt that had smeared into his clothing. He had not expected to be confronted with dirt so immediately. If only he had brought spare clothing. Thinking back on the descent through the tree made him itch, as though invisible bugs had overtaken him. He ran his hand through his hair, seeking the source of the phantom discomfort, not convinced by the single leaf he managed to find that he had cleared himself of stowaways. He was not about to walk around in this new world looking a mess.

XXXXAmong the unfamiliar calls of birds, he recognized the sound of rushing water. Beyond those sounds he picked up little else. Nothing he thought to be particularly human. The area was encompassed by a peaceful desolation. For a moment he was regretful not to find a buzz of human activity quickly after his arrival, but he knew it was for the best to get his bearings somewhere hidden. It would be a bad start to a stealth mission to fall from the sky into the middle of a town, outspread wings gleaming in the sunlight.

XXXXAs he followed the sound of the water, its gentle murmur rose from background noise to an overwhelming roar as he reached the edge of a precipice overlooking a large pool. Crashing noisily to the pool below, the water, which flowed on into a river that stretched on through the trees, was emerald and clear when undisturbed by the waterfall's flow. The tranquil water seemed trustworthy enough to wash in, so he calmed and first sat with his legs over the edge, and watched the flow of the water below.

XXXXThere were plenty of peaceful spaces for reflection in Aurae, but none felt to him the way this place did. Here the peace was not undercut by the unending air of restraint. It was true peace, he believed. Untamed and youthful, befitting the youngest realm. His serene smile grew wider at the thought of sharing this place with another lover of peace, his dear familiar. He held out his hand and murmured soft ceremonial words. A white light spun from the centre of his palm and grew until its white colour was tainted with rainbow and light became feathers. His small rainbow bird raised her head and made adjusted herself with a ruffling of her feathers. “Have a look, Jiya. We've finally made it.” He bounced her in his hand to encourage her to take flight. She took the initiative, and watching her sail out under the bright blue sky, he added softly, “And what a sight it is...”

XXXXJiya crossed to the far side of the precipice, swooping upwards in the face of a tree before flipping backwards towards Levien. When she had almost reached him again, she turned into a wide spiral, descending closer to the water with each pass. Levien chuckled at her enthusiasm, paused for a moment, and then indulged in a full bodied laugh. Tucked among trees with the rush of water drowning other sounds from his ears, he felt for a moment as though he was released from all the pressure of his goals. Though, it was not long before he reminded himself that there was plenty more to be done before he could really be free, with Felspar just as free at his side. He wondered what his mentor was doing while he was being lazy by the water. The mission was Felspar's idea, but would he be playing a role in it?

XXXXJiya had already settled in a peaceful portion the water where she was able to float without being taken down the stream. As Levien watched the distant movement of her head as she straightened the feathers of her wing, he was reminded of his own wings. One had little reason to hide one's wings in Aurae, and he quite liked the look of his wings, so he was not very practised with the camouflage process. Nonetheless, he remembered the lessons on it well enough. With closed eyes, he embraced a sense of calm and willed his wings to turn unseen. Standing, he extended his wing to the side to see how he had done. The process was successful. His wings had become invisible. Reaching into what appeared to be empty air, he noted that his wing felt no different, as promised. He would need to remember to keep from backing into any humans, lest they discover, through the touching of hidden feathers, an undeniable hint of his origins.

Vincent Price

“They’re more annoying than they are useful but they are expendable.” He replied to her questions. What Vincent said is true, well to him anyway. The pesky half breeds are always whining about being the freak in society when in fact they were superior to the regular human. It was when they were compared to a true demon, a Superior demon, that they became inferior. Alvina’s words rung true. The Prince had no intention of working under Satan’s scrutinizing glare and while the woman before him was quite useful, he wouldn’t hesitate to let her take the fall. Of course that’d require his plans to be discovered. Plans that have been in the works for years. There was no way he was going to have it all go down the drain after all the work he put into it.

A brow was raised in question at the gesture Alvina made to signify she wasn’t done just yet. “A request?” He deliberately said it slowly to show that she was toeing the line. Blue orbs flickered over to where she had pointed. It was the maid the Prince of Earth had kicked as a means of announcing his arrival. He looked at her as if contemplating whether he should give in to Alvina’s request. He really only did it to annoy the woman. “You want her? Mm I don’t see why not.” Shrugging his shoulders as he spoke, Vincent took note of the bow. It was good to know she was still subject to his words, but her request put a miniscule splotch on it.

Vincent walked back to stand behind his desk. The demon noticed that her familiar, Umbra, had arrived. The familiar stood by its master who was now at the door. “Yes do send a messenger.” He waved his hand at her as if to shoo her off. It was his way of telling her that she may go. Like Alvina he had much to prepare for however his preparations would be much different from hers. Hands shuffled through a stack of papers all of which needed his seal of approval but he eventually glanced back up to see if his subordinate had left already. He was glad to see that the maid she had requested to aid her was gone as well. "Such useless people I swear." He said with a frown.

After going over all the necessary paperwork Vincent left his office and to his personal quarters. They were off limits to the majority of the staffs and only a select few were allowed to enter. Those select few were all mute so that they wouldn't be able to inform anyone outside of his circle of what he was doing. It wasn't like he was doing anything truly bad but it certainly could be deemed as suspicious.
