There is a place between worlds, and then, there is a place between that one and the worlds it separates. It runs through the known multiverses like a web, lines, paths, areas, directions, twisting, tangling and intersecting. It is overwhelming in it's vastness and it's potential is near-infinite, its realities a veritable plethora.
This place cannot be entirely grasped by beings bound by less than five dimensions, nor can it be named in its entirety.
A small region of this non-place, small, yet vaster than the universe you, the reader, reside in, has been known for some time and is often visited. This region is Ergotica. A place where the difference between gods and men are blurred and one is as powerful or as helpless as their minds allow them to be.
There is nothing to conquer in Ergotica, since anything you can take for yourself can just as easily be unmade.
True value in Ergotica is created when creations are allowed to exist and expand, adventure is when you make yourself vulnerable to test your mettle.

Friends might test each-other, one pitting the other in a duel or a hunt or a maze, perhaps a puzzle. Risks are taken and trust is given and earned.
