Everest Hill, founded in 1937, is a prestigious preparatory school located in Massachusetts, and has turned out some of the most successful young adults in the nation, putting credentials on their resume that open more doors then a skeleton key. Parents from both around the globe know of the school's reputation, and many are quick to send their children to walk it's hallowed halls. With its spacious campus, renowned staff, vast array of extra curricular opportunities, Everest Hill is loved by both parents and students alike.

The courses at Everest Hill range over a wide variety of subjects, including foreign languages, fine arts, physical education, and offer a large selection of optional extracurricular activities, while also instructing students in the ways of etiquette, diction, corporate mannerisms, and other such subjects in classes designed to further prepare them for all that their futures may hold. The ways of the school may seem strict and selective to those with money or skills unparalleled to normality, but that is only due to the fact that the school hopes for all of its students to excel in life, and without these aspects, Everest Hill would seem to be just another boarding school, unable to stand above all the rest.

But every statue has it's cracks, and behind the old stone walls, both students and professors have secrets to hide, and sometimes, those secrets become entertwined. Some are larger than others, but no one of them is insubstantial. This tangled web of secrets, while it sets the students of Everest Hill apart, also serves to bind them together. And as another year begins, more of these mysteries spill into the halls. Some hide in the shadows, but every once in a while, a few manage to find their way into the light.

There are questions to be asked, and answers to be found, if you look hard enough. But at Everest Hill, some questions are best left unanswered.

Rules
  • Acknowledge all RPG rules, please.
  • This is a realistic roleplay, so there wont be supernatural bits. No werewolves, vampires, witches...I mean, the FC whose secret is that she practices black magic...yeah, she practices it, but she's not actually a witchy witch. So...yeah.
  • Some characters have more than one secret. If you want to change your secret, or decide you can handle double teaming it, discuss it with me, and make sure you have an explanation ready for how it all clicks before hand.
  • Also, if you're going to have two secrets, make sure the one you're adding isn't already being played by another character. Just keeps things from getting too confusing
  • If you want to make you're own character, show me an FC, gimme a secret, and go for it! And If you're having a problem figuring out a secret, again, talk to me. I've got a list. (Not kidding.)
  • If you need help finding gifs, just ask. I'm good at hunting them down, or so I think I am.
  • Please post in the OOC when reserving a character. And to prove you've read the rules, you'll have to give me the password.
  • Be active! And let me know when you're not going to be able to get on.
  • Face claim changes are negotiable, but if the FC is too overused, then I might say no. However, if you can offer up an underused personality for said face claim, I might be more open to it.
  • After characters are made, I will be adding a relationship thread just to help us get things set up. It's nothing too difficult, and if you've RPed with me before, you'll know what I'm talking about.
  • I'm looking for literate roleplayers for this group. The password is Shhhh. If you don't think you can handle 300-500+ words per post, then this roleplay might not be for you. Sorry.
  • There will be swearing, drug and alcohol use, sex, and possibly violence in this roleplay, so be warned.
  • And finally, one of the most important rules of them all, enjoy yourself! Have fun! Plot, scheme, and create ideas with other characters. Eat cookies and ride around on magical unicorn pigs if you have to! Just don't make me go all "Why so serious" and Joker face on you all.

Whoever invented alarm clocks must have wanted to watch the world burn. The incessant buzzing and blaring, while they easily managed to wake up the slumbering Katherine Moreau, also succeed in annoying the 18 year old, so that when she finally hit the off button, it was by slamming her hand down and letting out a groan. Running a hand through disheveled hair and standing to her feet. Looking down at her nightstand, she couldn't help the smile at the small picture that sat there. A little boy, on his second birthday, with cake and icing practically covering his face. Kate missed her son, but she took solace in the fact that come the weekend, she'd get to see him. In truth, there were very few people, if any, that Kate admired more than her parents. The parents who took care of her and kept her safe even after she'd made her mistake, and then cared for and, without a doubt, spoiled the little ball of energy that was their grandson.

After taking a quick shower to wake herself up, and blow drying her hair, and rifling through her closet to find some clothes, the girl stood by her small desk and shoveled in her books and papers. Kate was one of those girls who, instead of partying with the rest of her generation, often preferred to stay in and read, finish up assignments, or watch some random movie she had on DVD or found on Netflix. She didn't drink or do drugs, and she didn't care to flirt with every boy who passed her by. She was just...different.

Sitting back on her bed, the girl slipped her feet into a pair of sandals before quietly making her way out of her room, careful not to disturb her roommate, if Archie was in there. Kate hadn't paid enough attention to check. But, now that she was out, she walked down the long winding hallways until she finally rounded a corner and walked out onto the grounds.

Jo had always considered sleep to be one of her best friends. After all, when she slept, she got to dream, and when she was in her dreams, anything was possible. She could do things that would never be possible or never could be possible. She could swim in the deepest ocean, or glide over the highest--no, wait, that's from Harry Potter. But Dumbledore was right. In dreams, you really do enter a world that's entirely your own.

But, you have to get back to reality at some point. And that point happens when you wake up. Which was exactly what Joanna Carter was struggling with at that moment. She was currently making any and all attempts to convince herself that she didn't need to wake up. Making all sorts of excuses that said getting out of bed was just not worth it. One of her top reasons was just that her bed was warm and comfortable and just outside her blanket was a dangerous world filled with essays and people.

Eventually though, she forced herself to rise from her warm bed and go through her albeit simple morning routine. Jo wasn't the kind of person to do much. Even her wardrobe. She was the type of person to love over-sized sweaters, sneakers, and jeans. When it came to her hair, there was never much she could do. It was long and pale blonde and always looked full and as hard as she tried, she knew it would never be sleek or smooth. So she just brushed it and left it as it was, which didn't do much to sway from the idea that the girl had just gotten out of bed. Luckily that wasn't too far from the truth.

Glancing around once for her roommate, Anais, Jo grabbed her bag and left, making her way down the hallways towards the boy's dorm hall, where she would start her day by checking if her best friend in the academy, Mic Samson, was awake yet. Walking up to his door, she tapped out a little rhythm on the wood and waited.

Mic Samson

Mic, hated the the world currently. Why? Because he was awake. He didn't like morning because this was when all of the blessings from above completely avoided him. Instead, he would always wake up in a terrible down. So, he go up, grabbed some essentials for the day, and went into the bathroom that was down the hall. It was there, that he pulled out a little baggie and rolled himself up a nice fat one. It was no secret that people smoked in here, so if people smelt it, they'd just think it was some fancy ass cigarette because of the smell.

After the first few puffs, Mic was finally starting to gain his chipper mood back. He finished his weed and headed to the showers to do exactly what the name entitles. Shower. 'cause he could not walk around smelling like beggars on the street. Sure they were nice people some of the time, but that doesn't mean he has to like their smell enough to want to wear it.

Coming out squeeky clean, Mic walked back to his dorm, pants on but shirt in hand, only to find Jo on here way to wake him up. "Looks like I beat you, this morning." He said, giving his friend a wink.

Adam Tew

Adam had actually woken up to nightmare that morning. His eyes shot open and he was freaking out mentally until he realized he was in his dorm. Not at home like he had been in his head. He glanced at the clock and realized it was only 3:24. He groaned, but knew there was no way in hell he was going back to sleep, no matter how tired he was. So, he stayed awake until his alarm hang. Unlike most people, he was quite fond of his alarm. Mostly 'cause his was set on his phone so he had an awesomely catchy tone to wake up to.

He rolled out of bed and rubbed the sleep from his eyes. He was always the first to wake up in his dorm, not because he didn't like sleep as much as the next guy, but because his body refused to sleep more than five hours until it gives out and has him sleep till about noon when he'd gone to bed at 12.

He got ready for the day and exited his room. Placing his usual fake ass smile on his face he walked to go find something to eat. First though, he stopped by the drama club. The new play was going to be posted soon and no one knew what it was. So he wanted to see if the lead role was actually worth trying for. He knocked on his instructor's door but there was no reply. "Probably isn't even awake yet is he?" Adam wondered as he looked down the hall where the teacher's dorms would most likely be.

Beep. Beep. Beep.
"Shut up." Dallan muttered as he hit the snooze button on the alarm clock that he was really regretting buying. Why did he waste his money? More importantly, why the hell did he set the alarm for so early? He should have set it for ten or something.
Yeah, ten o'clock was good.
The beeping stopped. Thank God.
Dallan closed his eyes in hopes to get in a few more minutes of sleep. He hadn't dreamt of anything that was worthy of remembering, but maybe he'd have a nice dream about eating rice pudding and flatbread. Yum.
Beep. Beep. Beep.
Had it been five minutes already? Opening one eye, Dallan looked over at the dreaded box of noise. He rolled over and pulled the blankets over his head, maybe if he waited long enough, it'd shut up up and he'd be able to sleep for another hour or so... a wonderful hour of wonderful sleep.
Beep! Beep! Beep! The sound grew louder... then louder... and finally Dallan couldn't take it anymore.
"Shut up!" He shouted angrily. Reaching over, Dallan grabbed the alarm clocks cord and yanked it out of the plug and threw the box of noise across the room. It hit the wall with a crash, probably breaking something, and fell to the floor with a thud, probably falling on something.
That was better. Mr. Alarm Clock wouldn't be bothering him again until tomorrow.
"Sorry, Hill." Dallan apologized, wondering if he woke his roommate, and every other guy in the boys dorm. Maybe Tristan, as well as everyone else, had gotten used to the alarm clock being thrown every morning, Dallan shouting at the stupid thing, and things mercilessly being broken, so the noise didn't even wake them anymore.
On the other hand, probably not.

Dallan rolled out of bed, lazily arranged the blankets and pillows to make the room look like he put a little effort into keeping it nice, and threw on a pair of clothes that he probably wore a few days ago.
Looking around, Dallan realized he really needed to do his laundry. He shrugged. He'd do it later. Man, he missed his parents doing all that stuff for him.
Pulling on a pair of shoes, Dallan threw a pillow over at Tristan's bed.
"Wake up, lazy bones." He said, taking another pillow and throwing it at Tristan as well.
Dallan rolled his eyes, "I'm gonna look for something to eat before class, you want anything?" He offered, already opening the room door.

Tristan Hill doesn't really feel the need to have a personal alarm clock, as his roommate already is quite gifted at waking him with the sound of an alarm followed by a crash and thud as his roommates alarm clock fell onto the ground. This has become a regular part of the routine, and Tristan doesn't really understand why Dallan doesn't simply keep the alarm clock in a drawer or something, where he cannot easily grab it and throw it. Anyway, the daily crashing of the alarm clock had led Tristan to decide that the investment in an alarm clock was unnecessary. Today is no exception to the regular schedule, and he wakes up just in time to see the alarm clock hit the wall and fall onto the ground. Also following routine is the apology that happens after the crash, coming from the bed across from his own. Rather than responding properly, Tristan mutters something nearly incomprehensible and rolls over, not wanting to wake up. He was up late last night, as he often was, and sorely needs a drink in order to drown out his current throbbing headache. Perhaps not the best remedy for such a thing, but alcohol does tend to be used as a panacea by him.

He doesn't even seem willing to wake up when pegged with a pillow by Dallan, something that he reacts to simply by tossing the pillow back in Dallan's general direction. It misses, of course, but then again, Tristan isn't even looking in the direction that he'd tossed the pillow- he's turned back around to cover his head with a pillow again. That being said, the mention of food is enough to make him immediately sit up and face his roommate, a warm smile on his still tired features. "You're a saint. I'd kill for some eggs or cantaloupe," he mentions hopefully, though the student is willing to take anything he can get. Besides, as soon as Dallan leaves the room, he can refresh himself with a drink. "Anything is fine, though," he adds brightly.

"And, for clarification, my bones are not lazy. I am a mean, lean, sports machine," he adds jokingly. He is one of the star players on the soccer team, and captain of the rugby team, though he honestly prefers the former- he's just better at the latter.

Tristan forces himself out of bed stretching out his arms and failing to swallow down a yawn. He notices Dallan's made bed, but doesn't seem bothered by the fact that his, by comparison, is a complete mess. Both of them have plenty of dirty laundry, though, and so Tristan must try and find a semi clean pair of shorts and a shirt by guessing and trying to sniff test the things for whatever is less moldy smelling. It is a lengthy task, but something which he generally considers to be worth it, as coming to class smelling like he just rolled out of the dump is rarely the brightest of ideas.

'We hope you enjoy your stay
It's good to have you with us
Even if it's just for the day

We hope you enjoy your stay
Outside the sun is shining
It seems like heaven ain't far away

It's good to have you with us
Even if it's just for the day'

Indigo couldn't be more relieved she'd chosen such a relaxing song for her alarm, not that it didn't irritate her, of course it still did, but the slow tempo made for a nicer waking up and generally put Indigo in a better mood, especially after that 'I bet that you look good on the dance floor' (Arctic Monkeys) fiasco.
As Indi dragged a dainty hand through her fluffy hair, she let out a little yawn - Peering over at her maybe-sleeping-maybe-not roommate. Hopefully she hadn't woken Natalie up.

Picking out of the closet, the nearest, clean clothes she could find, Indigo carries them into the bathroom in which she begins her usual morning routine.
If there's one thing that Indigo despises about stepping into the shower, is the fact that she has to actually look at herself, see the bulging fat hanging off her, all the weight she is still needing to lose and yet can't seem to shift. How she hates her grotesquely bloated, fat body - Therefore, she shan't eat, it's the only proper way to get rid of the flab, fast. Diets don't work. Diets are bad. After being without much food for so long, Indigo could hardly even stand the stench of it by now, which pleased her; this made sure she would not relapse into her old, greedy, food guzzling ways.

Once showered, dressed and ready, Indi walks back to her & Natalie's dorm room, rummaging around her various bags in hopes of finding the illusive, orange iPod nano - Which seems to come and go as it pleases.
Finally (after a long period of time of throwing things out of her bag), Indi grasps the cool metallic surface of the music player.

Sighing, Indi notices the heavily tangled earphones and quickly begins to loosen the knot, what was the point in having the damn iPod if it wouldn't even let her use it.
Shoving the buds in her ears, Indigo lets herself be overtaken by Brandon Flowers' electric voice, pushing away the thoughts of her hideous body and soothing her mind.
Indigo then walks out of the room, sure she could barely stand to be in the cafeteria, but if people started to notice her absence, it would be pretty simple to put two and two together; then they'd spoil her plans and make her get even huger, force feeding her possibly.

As Indi made her slow way to the dining-hall, she let her mind drift to the mysterious play which was to be unveiled today, wondering what it could be and whether she should try out.
Making a memo to check after 'breakfast', Indi Pushed the dining-hall door open, immediately being overcome with a stench so disgusting Indigo felt like she was about the vomit, although it would probably be something more like bile - Seeing as there was nothing in her stomach to throw up.
Although she may feel this horrible on the inside, the friendly smile plastered on her face did not waver and give away her true feelings.

Grabbing a blueberry muffin (which she would be throwing away very soon) and a small glass of apple juice, Indigo makes her way over to a large table, noticing that the place was pretty deserted, save a few people whom Indigo watched with inner disgust as they consumed bacon and eggs, waffles or toast, how vile.

If Jo had been looking for Anais this morning, she might have been a little too late. While Anais may have been like any other teen and enjoyed her sleep, she had more energy than what she knew what to do with. So, when her soft alarm went off at about a little after six, Anais sprung into action. She tip-tied daintily on her side of the room and gathered her things for the bathroom activities. Once she was showered and had brushed her teeth, Anais hurried back to her room in hopes of not running into anybody while only wearing a towel and a robe. She snuck glances over at a sleeping Jo while she lotioned her body. Finally, she decided upon an outfit that she deemed practical, comfy and stylish enough to go about the day in. To make sure her feather earrings were seen, Anais gathered her long dark hair into a semi-loose bun with wispy strands framing her face. Checking herself once in the mirror, she sprayed an expensive perfume with a delicate scent onto her skin, jammed a few dark bracelets on her wrist, grabbed her bag and was out.

Before heading to her real destination, Anais went to the cafeteria and made her coffe just the way she liked it in her to-go cup. She actually kept the thing on her at all times in case of a coffee emergency. You never actually know when those might occur. With a sigh of a morning person after they got their first coffee hit, Anais pranced over to the boys' side. In the hallway, a few were emerging from the bathroom and a grin spread onto her face.

"Hello, sexy," she cat-called and laughed lightly when one pale boy turned a rosy shade. Still chuckling, she knocked on a familiar door. Not hearing an answer, she grasped the handle and turned it to open the door, calling, "Coming in." It wasn't like there was anything she hadn't seem before.

Scott was in a fitful state. At one point, the dream world wrapped him in a blanket of comforting warmth and peace. It clouded his mind with a calm nothingness, leaving his body in a state of bliss. Sadly, everyone had an alarm clock and his had to be in the form of a small body bouncing repeatedly on top of him. At first, he only groaned and attempted to ignore the unwanted attention. It was like one of those annoying headaches that continued tapping at your skull. Scott's logic was that if you ignored it long enough, it would go away. However, Anais refused to be ignored and smacked the back of his head. That definitely had Scott opening his eyes.

"What the fuck Ana -?" She punched him again.

"Sssshhhh," she reprimanded him and nodded to the other side of the room, where his roommate either ignored the little sprite or just slept very deeply. Either way, he was a lucky motherfucker. "Don't wake up Adam." Scott rolled his eyes and fixed her with a glare.

"Aren't you so courteous?" He growled sarcastically. Anais rolled her own eyes in response and slid off of him. Scott contemplated going back to sleep, but figured she's probably find other means of getting him up.

"Shut up and get dressed," she hissed, still trying to be quiet. It was still only a little past seven.

"I gotta get in the shower." Anais huffed impatiently and for a second, Scott smirked at her near childish reaction.

"Well, chop-chop, buddy. I want food." Scott grumbled something along the lines of bossy princesses, no real feeling behind it. Anais, despite her bossy and sometimes controlling ways, was in no way some princess. While she took another drink of her coffee and began making his bed, Scott grabbed the essentials and headed to the shower. The jets of warm water actually winded up waking him and Scott got a small boost of energy. But he knew it would be nothing like the high Anais was on.

"So, what am I doing awake?" Scott asked when they finally emerged from the room. He had called to Adam, welcoming him to breakfast with them. He wasn't sure if the guy heard him. Anais drank more coffee before he snatched her cup and stole some. While Scott wasn't exactly a coffee person, there was just something about the way Anais made hers that satisfied him.

"Hey, give me back my baby." She snatched her cup back and pouted for a second. "Asshole." That had Scott chuckling and a smile formed on her face. "Anyway, I have to make the schedule for volleyball conditioning, I don't want to wait in the omelet line, and I wanna stop by the headmasyer's office to confirm that it's alright for me to throw the play's after party. The party? Scott had almost forgotten about it. He remembered Adam saying something about it before, but he might have been listening to music.

"And that includes me because?" Anais shot him a look as they entered the cafeteria.

"Because you're helping me, dumbass!" She stormed off in an almost dramatic fashion, heading to her precious omelet line. Scott just went to the regular line and got some pancakes and bacon. Thinking quickly, he got a tray for his food and grabbed two things of orange juice. He knew Anais' schedule:coffee first, orange juice layer. As he looked for a nice window table, he spotted Indigo Taylor and a very rare, almost dopey smile appeared obvious face.

"Hey, Indigo," he called. He had always found the girl beautiful and one of these days, although he hated dances, he was going to ask her to one. Scott found the table that Anais would like and settled there. Moments later, Anais perched herself in the seat across from his. Scott almost gulped as she reached for her glass from his tray, a knowing and mischievous gleam in her eyes. Oh shit.

"Don't worry," she reassured him. "I'm not teasing." Before he could even release what could have been a sigh of relief, she added, "Yet." Scott only groaned and Anais laughed, digging in to her omelet.

Natalie Meade

Waking to an alarm was something that Natalie had come to tolerate. The incessant buzzing of her phone alarm was usually what kept her on track when she spent hours studying. So an early morning alarm wake up wasn't something foreign to the young girl, however being woken up by someone else's alarm was not something she enjoyed. Natalie pulled her blankets firmly over her head, trying to shut out the sounds of Indigo's morning routine. Sleep wouldn't return, but Natalie was loath to get out of her warm bed.

In the end she waited until she hear the door shut behind Indigo before shoving her blankets off and pushing herself out of bed. Her bare feet padded quietly across her shared room and stopped beneath the window. The day is early, breakfast time, and Natalie hoped that today's studies would prove fruitful. Unconsciously her eyes drifted towards the part of the school where she knew the headmaster kept his rooms. Cheating was not something she approved of and sleeping with the headmaster to maintain her perfect grades had gone well beyond what she considered cheating.

Thrusting her mind far from thoughts of her dirty deed, Natalie turned back to her room. Quickly, as if to ward off further invasive thoughts, Nat grabbed her towel and a bag of shower items. She headed towards the showers, a quick walk down the corridor. Natalie turned the water on and stepped under the hot torrent a moment later. Quickly she washed her hair and cleaned before getting out and wrapping her towel around her. Bag in hand, towel firmly in place, Natalie made her way back to her room where she opened and peered into her closet.

Natalie wasn't the kind to hastily pick her outfit. She took time to ensure that she looked as tidy on the outside as she was mentally. Natalie was organised, both mentally and externally. Her wardrobe and outfits reflected that. Pulling open her doors she found neatly hung clothes and a tidy row of shoes. Today she decided to go with a skirt, striped shirt and a warm cardigan. Her outfit might not have been everyone's cup of tea but in Nat's opinion it was tidy, fashionable and reflected her personality well.

Dressed and with her bag of books slung over her back Natalie left her room, making her way down the corridor. She made her way to the cafeteria, breakfast called. The room wasn't empty. Nat could see her roommate Indigo sitting at a large table with a small muffin and glass of juice. Along from her sat Scott and Anais. Neither table called out to Natalie, instead she made her way to the area serving food and grabbed a healthy bowl of fruit salad before choosing a small table by the door. She pulled a text book from her bag and set to reading through the text, skimming the pages until she found one she hadn't yet read.

Kyle Wilson
&
Darian Summers

Kyle knew he didn't have to be up so early, since he doesn't teach an actual class, but he just liked doing some things before everyone else was up. Kyle woke up at 5 'o' clock, sharp, and walked out of his room. Being a teacher, he has the choice of staying in his own home or staying at the school. Kyle does choose to stay at the school, and he made an exception to allow his dogs to stay in the school as well. As long as they don't roam the halls, pee anywhere inside the school, make puppies or bark at any time of the day. Kyle recited those rules in his head, before chuckling at the second last one and walking towards his coffee maker. Oh, and he couldn't forget allergies. Some students had allergies, so they had to be let outside while the hallways are clear of students, and if hair gets anywhere, he was to make sure it's gone. Kyle doesn't believe these rules to be ridiculous at all, he's just glad that he didn't have to get rid of his dogs.

Being a teacher, Kyle had a larger dorm than the students, but he still only had one main room and one private bathroom but just quite a bit bigger than the student dorms. His dorm included a not-too-fancy queen sized bed, a wardrobe, a very nice computer desk in the corner of the room, a very small table] for four at the center of the room, a very small kitchen set-up along the wall on the side of his room and an awesome antique television. There are also more artistic things, personal belongings, dog stuff and plants that he decorated and put in his dorm himself.

Kyle was now only wearing a towel. He started his coffee maker, and put his toast in the toaster as he made his way to the washroom. Kyle hopped in the shower and had a very quick shower. When Kyle was finished, he grabbed the towel outside of his shower and walked towards his mirror. Kyle shaved his face and fixed his hair before heading back out to pour himself some coffee and spread butter on his toast. Kyle left both on his counter, and quickly headed towards his wardrobe to change into a casual looking suit.

After taking his dogs out for a walk, Kyle arrives back at the school at 6:15, knowing that the students would start waking up and would be roaming around. He'd already seen some of the students, but they were too focused on other things to notice his dogs. I guess I should hurry. Kyle rushed back to his office, then through the locked door near the back of the room that lead to his "dorm". Kyle let his dogs loose and went to his bathroom to quickly brush his teeth. Kyle grabbed his laptop bag, coffee and toast before heading back out into his office. Kyle opened his laptop and started it up. While it was starting, he went and turned the lights on, showing that he is open to talk to typing out a plot for a story he got while on his walk.

Darian woke up to a blinding light shining through his window. Darian quickly shut his eyes and lifted his sheets over his face. I'm almost positive I closed that damn curtain last night... Darian lazily pushed himself to get up, and go close that curtain. Darian went to lie back down, but stubbed his toe on the side of his bed, completely waking him up.
Ah, shit!
Darian felt like kicking his bed, but he knew that would only make things worse. He sighed and walked into his bathroom.

Darian closed the door behind him and examined himself in the mirror, before shrugging and going to open the bathroom window a crack, so the steam from the shower wouldn't make the bathroom completely muggy. He did that every morning, before he took a shower. The cool morning air feels nice to Darian. Darian stripped himself of his clothing and got in the shower.

Darian hopped out of the shower and dried his hair off with his towel, the wrapped it around his lower body. Darian heard a knock on his door, so he rushed to get it. He opened it and seen the timid girl who promised to help him with his homework. Darian rolled his eyes as the girl stuttered and stared at his body.
Could we please have a normal conversation, after I get dressed?
The girl blushed and nodded. Darian went inside to change and brush his teeth. He came back out and invited her in. They discussed some homework matters before they parted ways and Darian went in the hallway, just "chilling" for the remaining time he had left before class started.

Cattie clutched her pillow against her chest, her eyes shut tightly just before her she heard her alarm on her phone go off underneath her. Wait? How'd her phone get there? She shot up into a sitting position, her blonde hair in a mess in front of her face. Suddenly remembering that she had plugged up her phone and was playing a game on it just as she fell asleep. She guessed this meant that at some point and time during the night it got beneath her. Grumbling a few words under her breath she slid a hand to her phone where she turned the alarm off and gently brushed her blonde hair from her face. Taking a moment to look around her dorm she finally to the edge of her bed where she got a mirror out from under her bed and examine a few spots that were still left on her body from a couple of nights ago when she told someone that they needed to back of just a little.

Momentarily she examined the two bruises on her arms and one black eye that some girl gave her after punching her in the face when she was totally wasted on the streets. Oh well, its not her problem any more. Anyways she was used to the bruises. Cattie finally slid the mirror back and rose to her feet and she quickly fixed up her bed and went to where her clothes were and plucked out an outfit that she found suitable.

Right after finding clothes she had taken a quickly shower before messing with her hair and covering a least the bruise on her face the other two bruises were just going to have to be left as they were. She applied the rest of her makeup, checked to make sure it was good and then she finally sighed softly as she flipped through her phone. Double checking her phone for text messages from anyone she finally grabbed her bag and left the room with out even saying anything to anyone in her dorm. Actually she didn't know if anyone was even in her dorm room, lately she has been paying less and less attention to her roommates.

Messing with her hair she made her way to the dining hall where she'd finally eat something after pretty much skipping eating twice yesterday and now she regrets it because she is like starving. Hurrying into the Dining Hall she got a plate of food, something to drink, and went to sit down by herself since that's the way she liked it unless she felt the need to sit by a friend of hers. She moved her food around on her plate, softly singing the lyrics to Chiddy Bang's Opposite of Adult's. Every now in between verses she would take a couple bites and then restart over again or take up a little later on in the song. Usually if she would start again she would end up starting at a spot that she knew how to sing.

Zander snored a bit loudly, a habit her had ever since a small child. Before it he woke up to the sound of one of his fellow roommates telling an alarm clock to shut up. Yep, like that was possible. he wished it was possible then he could sleep in more. sighing softly he smacked his lips a bit loudly as he shifted uncomfortably around in his bed a couple times. Some times if he was lucky he was used to his roommate telling the stupid invention to shut up and his episode of throwing it across the room. Of course today wasn't the case. He finally turned on his side and looked at his fellow roommate whom of which had thrown the alarm clock across the room. His roommate was now trying to get most of the boys up now and Zander grumbled, smashing a pillow against his own face before sliding up into a sitting position on his face. Scooting slightly to the side ended up practically throwing the boy completely off the bed with a loud THUD! the occurrence was unexpected and it left Zander groaning softly as he slowly rose to his feet and rubbed his lower back. "Freaking bed side." He mumbled to himself as he messily threw his bed together. He never was really good at fixing up his area but he made it work right now. "Good enough," He whispered, flicking his hand at his bed.

The night before he had already taken a shower because he knew the bathrooms would be flooded with people unlike if you took a shower at night. Glancing around his room he went to wear his clothes were and suddenly became picky as he decided what to wear for the day. At last he decided just on a plain grey button up shirt, a pair of jeans and some simple black vans. He wasn't going to be fancy and for sure he wasn't trying to be fancy at all. He grumbled, sneaking off to the shower area where he quickly changed into his clothes then returned to grab his bag. He looked at his roommates. "Good morning by the way." He greeted them with a small warm smile. He sighed tiredly, then shook his head as he slowly walked from his dorm room. He was tempted to ask if they wanted to join him but considering he wasn't quite in the mood to talk right now he was just going to leave it how it was.

Surprisingly he hadn't taken that long, but that was the usual routine. He liked being quick to get and wasn't trying to be first at anything he just wasn't going to sit there to leave him any kind of time to think about anything. It was hard enough that he constantly thought about his parents, but if you gave him some alone time and some thinking time he would surely go a bit crazy within minutes. Rubbing his eyes a couple times he hurried down the to Dining Hall were he scooped a small amount of food onto his plate before walking to a vacant table where he plopped down and took two bites before he was pretty much done. after thinking about his parents even just a little he suddenly had lost his appetite and longer really wanted to eat at this moment so he kind of just left it the way it was. Finally he yanked a book from his bag and started to read it.

Erin had crept out of her dorm before her roommate had awoken- she is a sort of ghost as far as roommates go, almost impossible to catch unless she is actually sleeping in the room. The girl doesn't spend much time in her room, after all, usually to be found in the library or in the gymnasium practicing basketball- only when no one is paying attention, of course. If she were to have a superpower, it would be the ability to walk right person and yet go completely unseen, for the girl has mastered the art of flying under the radar- she can be ranked in the top academically, sell essays and projects to students, and be a crucial member of the basketball team, and yet no one even knows her last name. As if she has anonymity down to an art, the number of people who can connect a name to a face to an action in regards to the girl are infinitesimal. Even her own roommate probably doesn't really know who she is- or much about her, if she does know Erin's identity to some extent. She leaves remnants in a book left on her bed or a light left on- truly a ghost. All she lacks is being able to send a chill down people's backs with her passing.

Erin had been in the library since it first opened, rather early in the morning, doing some last minute studying for a test that she has in AP Calculus today. However, a growling stomach, and the fact that she has very little tolerance for hunger, prompt the brunette to finally close her textbook and tuck it into messenger bag, which is covered in little pins with quotes, images of superheroes, and bugs, being the primary design on said pins. Normally, the young woman makes a point of dressing in such a way that gives no hint at an actual personality, a background character in her own life story, but she makes an exception for her beloved messenger bag. Hoisting it over her shoulder, placed in such a way so that it causes one shoulder to be slightly lower than the other, and so that the bag hits against the back of her knees while she walks, Erin makes her way out of the practically empty library. Not many people are there so early in the morning, but that's what she likes about arriving at the time she does- there is peace and quiet, allowing her to study quietly.

She finds herself far from alone in the dining hall, which already has a growing number of people, mentionable or not, who have arrived to eat breakfast. Some sit on their own, while others have large groups of friends that take over tables and make a good amount of ruckus. This leaves a decision to be made- sit near loudness, and therefore be drowned out and ignored, which is ideal, or sit in some corner and be allowed peace, but be easier plucked out? Trusting her social chameleon tendencies, Erin drops her bag off in some uninteresting part of the cafeteria where she can eat in peace and continue studying before going off and preparing herself a plate of breakfast. This breakfast is composed of fruit and eggs, mostly, with a side of raspberry jam on toast. The girl always eats a large breakfast, because she is prone to skipping lunch in order to sit outside and take a nap- recovering from her morning classes.

Erin settles in comfortably on the hard bench of the lunch table, and from there begins to eat her breakfast in lonely, but accustomed, peace.
