Michelle smiled at Kitrina's goodbye, before walking of to French. Isn't Derek in this class? she thought, before shaking it from her mind. She had to stoop thinking about him, it was pointless and idiotic. A waste of time, even. Just like teaching her science, as she was obviously never going to get it. She walked into the French class, almost late, and sat down beside -

-Derek. She ignored her pounding heart and started to take out her French books, as the whole class spoke out a loud chorus of, "Bonjour Monsieur!" , or rather, a few eager students spoke and a couple of murmurs came from the rest of the class. Michelle sat up straight and glanced over at Derek, before blushing and turning away, back to where the teacher was talking about some French film.
"Ah!" someone yelled from the hallway, and Michelle looked over at where the teacher was now speaking in a stern tone to some seemingly lost student.

About halfway through her 2nd class, Saya found herself extremely bored. She started messing around on Adobe instead of finishing the sketch she was working on. Soon her thoughts began to drift. The game, huh? It sounds terrible. Why would you want to kiss someone you don't even know? And if you don't, you get a punishment? Gosh... I hope I don't get tagged. I'm pretty sure I would die. Kai, why can't you go to this school? Things would be so much easier... Saya laid her head down on the table for a second before a girl behind her tapped on her shoulder. Saya turned around, and the girl pointed at the teacher. He was walking around the room checking everyone's progress. Saya smiled and flashed a thumbs up at the girl in thanks and forced herself to continue working on her sketch. When Mr. Albalm came to her screen, he nodded in approval before moving onto the next person.

As she drew, Saya tried to think up a plan of some sort. There was no way she was participating in this stupid, horrible, terrible, never-should-have-been-made game. First, I need to figure out all the rules and find out who has been tagged. Then I've just gotta keep as much distance as possible. I wonder if I'll be able to find that guy again after school. His name was Dirk, right? No, that wasn't it... Darion? Damien? Ah! Derek. Goal #1: Find Derek and get questions answered.

Leaning back against her chair, Hallie silently watched as her Latin teacher scribbled something onto the board, tapping her foot slightly against the multi-colored carpet. Austin sent her a text earlier, telling her about how Derek was the lucky student who got to start the whole game. It was pretty obvious to her that the 99.9% chance was Derek would get a dare tomorrow, and the team would pick another victim of the day.


Knowing Austin pretty well, Hallie knew he would attempt an easy dare for Derek, then just come up with a horrible one last second. Just simply hoping Derek would somehow get the nerve to finally kiss another girl, Hallie lowered her pen down onto her notebook and a small heart, before scribbling over it with black ink.

Derek would find some cheerleader, most likely. Out of all the girls in the school, he had to find someone.

Walker was in the middle of a gymnastics routine on the highbar as he thought about that silly kissing game some guy or other had thought up as a way to easy street. As his one hand held him in the air for a 180 pivot, he dropped and let himself fall for a bit, then bent his knees back and caught the bar, spinning once before jumping off by straightening his legs and doing a flip with the momentum. As he came back down, he stretched his hand and caught the bar once again, now thinking about how Eve was going to handle that sort of thing once he was gone. He tried to be as supportive as possible without smothering her, but he still felt as if he was acting as the father the two of them had never had. One more spin on the bar, and he dismounted with a single twisting flip in the air, landing in a skillroll from the drop. He smiled as he stood up, and checked the bandages he had wrapped around his stump. Nothing seemed amiss upon inspection, so he unraveled the bandages and attached his rubber cap onto what was left of his wrist, not letting his face show the pain he was feeling as he did so. He knew he'd need to see a doctor about his infection soon, but he and Eve were already having a hard enough time paying for their shared apartment, even with Eve's zookeeping job at the local zoo after the incident, and a doctor would be too much. As he walked off the mat, he saw one of the usual girls still surprised he had just done a bar routine onehanded, and he gave his signature wave, done with his stump. As he did so, his pocket rang, and as he went to check who was calling, caller ID caused him to almost drop his phone.
There, is those small, bold, black letters, was the name "Rasimmon Clinic". They never called him unless it was serious. His hands trembled as he hit the "Send" button to connect the call.
"Hello?" he said, his hand trembling.
"Walker? This is Dr. Sorenta from Rasimmon Clinic. We've found out something about your wrist." Walker instantly snapped to attention.
"About...?"
"The bone in your wrist. We were looking at your x-rays from last visit, and we found that your bone never healed, it simply fractured, and just recently began growing again due to your recent growth spurt. You run the risk of losing your whole arm to gangreneif you don't get a surgery soon to at least replace the main bone. Your healthcare should cover at least half, but that still will leave you $5000 to handle... Walker? Walker?" He had hung up after the words "main bone". Well, at least he didn't have to worry about infection. He asked for a quick excusal from the class, and walked outside, climbing the school and sitting at the top until the bell for third.

By the time lunch rolled around, Saya was tired of hearing the words "the game." No matter where she went it was always the game, the game, the game. I mean I can understand why everyone is making such a big deal about it, but is it really that hard to dodge? Why can't people focus on something else for once? I hope this will die down soon. Saya pulled a peanut butter and jelly sandwich out of her pink lunchbox and took a bite. She was at a table by herself, but she didn't mind. There was enough noise people around her to put her at ease while she began a new sketch for her Flash Animation class.

Suddenly Saya heard a commotion across the cafeteria. She looked to see a kid being bullied and pushed around while a group of older guys laughed and made fun of him. As much as she wished she could ignore it, she couldn't help it. Seeing somebody getting pushed around always pissed her off. Saya quickly shoved all her stuff back in her satchel and made a beeline for the group. After shoving her way through a crowd of people, she got a better view of the situation.The poor guy's lunch had been thrown on the floor and he was soaking wet, an empty water bottle on the ground. Saya was infuriated. She made her way into the middle of the situation and raised her voice, loud and upset. "What do you think you're doing? Leave him alone! Do you think it's cool to mess with other people? News flash, it's not! So BACK THE HECK OFF!" Her heart was beating fast, and an adrenaline rush had kicked in. The kid who was being bullied was just staring at the floor, not saying anything. Saya bent down and tried to hand him a tissue. He wouldn't take it; He wouldn't even look at her. Saya tried a small smile and said, "It's okay. Take it."
