The Story So Far... Write a Post » as written by 7 authors
He began shifting into a slightly skinnier Scott so that he'd be faster. He kept walking past the dinning room where most of the people still were. He wanted to ask Marlow if she wanted to come along, but he didn't want to be responsible incase they were going to kill him. Scott walked outside and looked around, it was a bit later in the morning, but Scott didn't care if he did this in broad daylight. He continued to walk away from the mansion, getting farther, and he was awaiting some sort of response. His hands were ready to unleash a sonic pulse at any moment, he was nervous, he felt as if he was about to die...Scott was fine with this.
Jack was sitting in a room when he saw Scott walk by. He followed him outside, wondering where he was going. Once they got pretty far, Jack broke his perfectly silent trail. "Hey, Tubby. Where are you going?" Jack asked, breaking into a jog so he was right next to him. He was genuinely curious, like he always was. "Look man, I didn't mean to piss you off earlier. Sometimes.. Okay a lot of times I do that, but not intentionally. I can be a jack ass sometimes, but I'm not a jerk. And trust me there is a fine line that I try my best not to cross." He laughed uncomfortably. "We straight?" He asked. As he looked around, waiting for an answer, he saw a green house. He wished he could be in there. Having an affinity for earth, the green house would be the perfect place for him.
Noa carted his bear on the towel pile down the hall, trying to see around them to ensure he didn’t fall. Knowing his clumsy child-like body, falling was definetly very possible. As he walked he heard a voice "Hi, were you going to go swimming too? I decided not to go." It was Marlow. Noa tried to move the towels from his face so he could look at her. not going he thought why did I get all these towels then he sighed in silence and dropped them to the floor, catching his bear before he could fall too.
Marlow bit her lip, Noa could tell she wanted to say something, plus he could hear her thoughts. He picked up his paper and pen as she spoke "Why won't you say anything?" She asked softly, Noa noticed she was looking away as he wrote on the paper then handed it to her
I don’t have a voice it read.
When Scott stred to follow him back, Jacks as relieved. If they were to becone a team, they'd need Scott. They needed strength, and also he seemed like a really good guy. Marlow had told him about how Scott went for help for Noa. He was caring enough to make up for Jack's lack of caring. He made a mental note to himself to pay atention to learn from Scott. "Glad you're staying Scotty the hottie." Jack elbowed him in the ribs playfully. "Well I know your power, or at least part of it, so I'll tell you mine. I can control earth, like dirt and stuff. Essentially meaning I can create earth quakes, so on and so forth. I can also control nature. It's kind of like an affinity for all things natural or relates to the earth. I'm not really sure what my limits are yet, but I'm sure I'll find out soon enough." Jack said. He seemed confused as he tried to explain it. "So now you'll understand why I'm about to tell you I'm going to the green house. You can come if you want, or I'll just meet up with you later." Jack said as he turned his path towards the green house.
Mrala was sitting with her back against a table leg. She had seen Jack and Scott appear through the plastic walling, and had dusked to keep them from seeing her shadowy form. Someone who actually know the meaning of family? She had heard them talking about leaving or not, and about family. Yeah right. She leaned back against the table and closed her eyes as the painful memory seared into her mind.
"Just get away from us!" Draco snarled at her as he gently layed a four year old child onto a bed of fishing nets. Other children and teenagers were grouped inside the building. All of them looking ragged, bruised, and gaunt, but their faces were smudged with ash and dirt. They all leaned away from Mrala. "Wait! No! Just let me-" Draco cut her off with a slap to the face. "Get out. You don't belong here. Get out!" Mrala stared at Draco before her eyes widened and she turned and walked out of the abandoned building.
Mrala opened her eyes when she heard footsteps coming in the Green House's direction. "Crap." She whispered out as she pulled her hands away from her nack and wiped the blood on her jeans. The instinct to hide made her crawl into the far back of the green house, behind a table.
Noa watched Marlow's expression as she took and read the paper. , wondering if she’d believe him, as it seemed fairly farfetched. Wow." Noa blinked reading her thoughts wishing it was emotions he could read instead. "Do you know sign language? Wait, what is your gift? I'll tell you mine. Obviously, since I have wings, I can fly." She fluttered the white angel wings and smiled a little. "I can also make it rain and I can make breezes." She blushed slightly "Kinda lame, right?" She laughed a little, handing him back the paper. "Your turn, if you want that is." Noa thought for a moment then took the paper and began scribbling away hoping she could at least read what he was writing. After a moment he looked at it inspecting it and handed it to her.
I have telepathy, (mind reading) I like your wings and your power isn’t lame. Mine is, it gives me headaches.
He looked at his bear sheepishly wondering if the words sounded ok. Then back up at her.
Blake walked down the hallway and saw Marlow, and Noa. He smiled, no signs of his recent thoughts as he stopped near them. "Hey Marlow, and Noa. Follow me, I think it's time we see how much control you've got over your... Gifts." He hesitated to talk about the power part, but settled with saying Gifts instead of powers. He walked through the building and came out at the front of the house. He stopped in the center of the yard. Above him there were seem angry looking storm clouds rolling toward them at a slow pace. "Marlow, can you fly in the rain?"
Blake turned to look at the winged girl with a qustion mark on his face. He needed to know how strong her wings were, and if they were okay in any kind of situations.
Marlow read the paper and smiled at the compliment, then her eyes widened. "Oh my god." She whispered. "That's amazong, but I'm sorry you grt headaches." She said to him, but before she could ask anymore questions, Blake came walking down the hall. "Okay," she said and turned and followed him.
"Yeah, I can." Marlow said then saw the dark storm clouds. She started getting scared, she'd never flown in a storm, just rain. "Uhm, maybe not." She slowed her pace, but she didn't want to dissappoint Blake, even if it meant embarrassing herself in front of Noa. "I can try though," She piped up. "I can make it rain too. And make the wind blow, but that's about it." She still had no idea the extent her power could reach. If she wanted to, she could make a storm fice times as big as the one coming. But that wouldn't garuntee she could control it. She glanced at Noa and smiled. "I like your bear."
"Hey..." Scott quietly said as he avoided looking at Mrala, his hands placed behind his back.

Mrala hid her astonished look, and hardened herself when Jack extended his hand out toward as if expecting her to touch it. She stood, and glared at them like they were her enemies... And to her in some odd way, they really were her enemies. Street rats didn't trust anyone but themselves. Standing up and dusting herself off she pushed her way pass them and out of the green house, stopping a few feet away from the green house to take in the air, enjoying the fact that she wasn't surrounded by walls.
Blake
Blake nodded at her wings. "There was a guy I knew. He was born with wings just like you... He grew up on an island, until his dad died and he started flying across the country. One day, he met someone and... well... he cut his own wings off for that person and lived a normal life. But his wings grew back and he took off again. He could fly in any type of weather... Let's see if you can do the same." He jerked his chin at the storm. "Give it a try."
Marlow listened to his story. When he got to the part about the man cutting off his wings, she had a terrible flashback to when she was a kid. She put her hand over her mouth, trying to keep her self from being sick. She hated talking about her past. She looked at Blake with watery eyes, her hands now behind her back. She was stroking the scar on her wrist with her other thumb. She wasn't listening to him anymore, but suddenly she was brought back to reality, after replaying the last moments with her mother again. I would have been better off if this had worked the first time, or even the second. You know what they say though. Third times the charm. She dug her thumb nail into her wrist, created a small cut there. "Okay, I'll try." She forced a pretty smile. She bent her knees, and flapped her wings, creating a cool wind. She shot up into the air, and was instantly colder. It was already raining, and the wind was stronger up in the sky. This was easy for her though. There was a simulation room at the facility and she practiced flying. AS she flew back and forth, she was beginning to get bored, bu the wind picked up and the rain fell harder. I hope it doesn't start hailing. AS soon as she thought it, marble sized hail began falling from the sky. She was having trouble flying now, she had never down this before. She began trying to descend, so that if she fell, it wouldn't be as long of a fall. She lost her balance a a couple of times, but was able to regain her composure. Now the strong winds were carrying her away, farther and farther from the mansion. She began to panic, not wanting to be far from her new home. She was trying hard to fly back, but the hail was growing in size and was bruising her body. "STOP!" She screamed, and it did. Everything did. The wind, rain, hail. It was all gone. She was so shocked at the change, she lost balance and began hurtling towards the ground. She landed on her side with a hard thud and a small crack, and let out a small groan. "Not again." This time she didn't roll to break the fall. She sighed and rolled over onto her back. She had broken a rib. "Great just great." She decided to wait there until Blake and Noa came over to her. She didn't feel like walking.
After Jack stormed off he began to walk to Mrala. "Hey Jack, I'll catch up with you later" Scott said as he gave him a pat on the shoulder as he walked by him. He stood by Mrala's side, not looking at her, just looking forward. He enjoyed the scenery the place provided although he didn't like being there.
"Hey..listen..I just wanted to apologize for earlier. I shouldn't have attacked you, it was wrong of me, even if you did kick my ass in the end." Scott said with a slight awkward smile. "I never though I'd get my ass handed to me by a girl, that's for sure. I know you don't want to be here, neither do I, I'm sure the majority of us don't. After talking with Blake I'm not even sure if he likes it here. Anyways, I know you read my file, but that's just a part of who I am, just like your file is probably just a small part of who you are. Let me tell you who I really am. I'm Scott Green, I'm socially awkward, I stay inside all day, I've always been an outcast even before I found out I had powers, and it may come as a shock to you, but by scientific standards I'm considered to be obese" Scott said hoping to lighten the mood. "However for the first time in my life I feel like I'm not alone and I don't know if you feel alone or not, but if you do just know that I'll have your back from here on out. Consider me your official best friend forever whether you like it or not" Scott said with a smile on his face, he'd never had a best friend even if Mrala didn't except it, it was as close as he ever had to one. "Well I'm going to head back in to the mansion and reintroduce myself, so they don't think I'm what the file perceives as what makes me who I am. I'll see you around Mral...best friend" Scott smiled as he began to walk away from Mrala slowly.

Mrala ground her teeth, clenching her hands into fists as she stood there and listened to Jack lecture. Who said she wanted to be a bitch? Who said she wanted to go it alone? She didn't want to be alone or a bitch, all she ever wanted was to be apart of a family again. But, she couldn't be apart of anything because of her unfailing ability to destroy the things she cares about.
"Let me tell you something, you can't."
Mrala heard him walk away and grabbed her left wrist with her right hand. Her iron grip tightened when Scott appeared and started talking away. His power for super strength. Without knowing it she started to mimic his power by tightening her grip, harder and harder. She heard a cracking sound and pain exploded inside her arm. She saw stars for a moment and realized she had just broken her wrist while Scott had started to walk away. "If... You want to stay alive, stay away from me." The words were loud enough for Scott to hear. She let out a gasp and dissappeared into the forest, away from the mansion heading for the small town.
Noa watched warily peeking over his bear, not as if afraid but more, unsure. He blinked as he saw her lips turn up into a smile, and her eyes widened as she exclaimed "Oh my god." She whispered. "That's amazing, but I'm sorry you get headaches."
Just as she finished speaking Blake approached them. Noa hadn’t even sensed him too absorbed in what the winged girl had said. Amazing? Noa thought bewildered
"Hey Marlow, and Noa. Follow me, I think it's time we see how much control you've got over your... Gifts." Blake turned and walked off, Marlow following but Noa stood still, thinking.
No one has ever said that …before… he stared at his nameless-bear in wonder. Then his eyes trailed up and he realized he was alone, with wide eyes he left the towels and ran down the hall bear in hand. When he arrived at the spot Blake and Marlow were talking.
"Yeah, I can….Uhm, maybe not." Marlow was saying. Noa wondered at the conversation he half missed, and looked up at the rain clouds. "I can try though," Marlow continued. Noa dropped his eyes back down to her face. She looked a little scared "I can make it rain too. And make the wind blow, but that's about it."
Is she going to use her power out here? Noa stared at the clouds watching the two from under a roof so as to not get wet, he was terrible with colds. Terrible meaning he caught them easily. Suddenly Marlow looked at him "I like your bear."She said with a smile
Noa’s face turned red and he turned his head with a silent cough. great I think I’m sick
Shielding his face with the nameless- bear he listened to Blake’s story. Noa observed the two, Marlow looked like she was sick. He was wondering if he should get the towels, or perhaps a jacket. He was too naïve to realize what was really wrong, and the storm was messing with his head, he couldn’t hear thoughts properly.
When Marlow took off, he opened his mouth in awe. He couldn’t see how high she had gone. The roof he stood under was obstructing his vision. He looked around trying to make sense of anything. Wondering how high she had gone. When suddenly he heard her scream from above. Noa abandoned his post and ran out into the clearing staring up at the sky, as worry crashed over him. He waited biting his lip, digging his shoes into the mud. At last Marlow appeared, but it was too early to be relieved. The winged girl wasn’t flying downward…
She’s Falling!!!!! Noa thought in horror, wishing he had a voice. Unable to discern where she’d land , he couldn’t help as she fell on rolled over onto her back. "Great just great." she said, Noa could sense the hurt in her. He was shocked at how fast his feet moved as he ran towards her. It was so out of character. He dropped to his knees splattering his clothes with more mud. Are you ok? Where are you hurt? Noa thought, even knowing she couldn’t hear him. His mind raced waiting for some sign that she hadn’t suffered too much damage.
Scott ran through the mansion looking for Blake and stopped when he saw him. Scott was out of breath when he stopped in front of him. "Mrala...she took off" Scott struggled to say as he panted and pointed towards the direction of the town. He was hunched over, holding the wall with one hand.

I was gonna suggest the same, but she could have a power with the ability to change her age she could be a child who changed her age to look older to hide something perhaps?

Re: Forgotten: Becoming a Team
Her name's Lucy Scarlet. She is a little girl, way too young to become part of the team, and powers that need serious control. Yet, because she has such powers, she's been sent under care in the mansion, and of course, her real parents are very afraid of her. Her powers can be described as "Destruction of Anything and Everything".
Basically, she has the power to blow up things with her mind. Not like a dynamite or atomic explosion of course, and no flames either. More like preassure. She can blow up objects by focusing on a single tiny little spot in the object, and can cause the atoms to become super excited, creating a chain reaction that causes an object to crack and even blow to pieces. Larger and Stronger the object is, the longer it takes for it to actually blow up. Because of how it works by exciting particles, it can cause objects to heat up before starting to break, which can be obvious with metals for it can start to melt them. She can only excite a tiny group of particles at a time, meaning she can only damage one object at a time and it's hard for her to blow up moving substances, like liquids and gasses, or when an object is being taken away. Also, powdered materials like sand or flour only make geyser like effects, like placing a bomb in the sand, and obviously wont have deadly shrapnel flying all over the place. I'm trying to come up with a weakness for her that prevents her from blowing up things.
