The faithful captain of the goddess Palutena's army. With this position, he has a lot to live up to - and he certainly proves it! He's skilled with a wide variety of weapons, from bows to blades to orbitars.

Astonishingly, his wings are incapable of flight! This is highly embarrassing to him, so he often tries to avoid the topic if it's brought up.

Over in the temple of Palutena, goddess of light, her faithful captain Pit was using the Eye of Palutena to make a call to Ghost Radio...in an unsuccessful attempt to cheer up the host. Palutena herself was nearby.

"Awww..." Pit groaned. "Guy's tougher to cheer than a brick wall."

"Well, he's got a lot to put up with in his job," Palutena noted, "like willingly letting jabs be thrown at him. It's probably best to NOT try to cheer him up on the air."

"Yeah, I know, I know. Odd sort of entertainment, if you ask me...There really IS no biz like show biz."

Just then, the Wario Bike came blazing in, skidding right next to Luigi's buggy.

"Ladies and-a gentlemen, your-a future champion has arrived!" he laughed. He then turned his attention to Luigi. "Well hey there, Super Side-a Salad. Where's-a the main course at, eh? He lose his-a nerve already? Wahahaha!" he chortled as he yanked on Luigi's mustache.

Soon, a chariot came rolling in - a luminous chariot being pulled by two mighty radiant unicorns. Piloting it is Pit himself!

"Hi there!" the angel called out. "So this is where we're starting the race, right? I, uh, hope you don't mind if I seem a bit rusty with this..."

"You're on, Wario!" Luigi accepts Wario's challenge, "We'll see who gets the money!"

While the bickering between Wario and Luigi goes on, the mysterious racer looks at Death's Head with a deep glare towards him. "Don't count on it," She said, "I will make sure that the money will be mine."

"Let's see... hmm...." The intern looks at the clipboard as he writes them down, "3... 4.... 5.... Ah.. 6 racers joining! Good... We still got room for maybe four to six more racers. Right then, racers. I will explain a couple of rules for you. Every one of you will have your own personal garage so you can customize your vehicle. The race will not start until Moxxi says so. You have a couple of minutes to make preparations for the race. If you do not arrive before the race starts, you will be disqualified."

At the helm of this new vehicle is, you probably guessed it, Ignacious; his right arm meanwhile covered with several layers of duct tape.

Racer S nodded as she, Starlow, and Luigi walk to their own garages. Mad Moxxi is thinking about somebody but it's not Sockie. "If you excuse me, I got to make a quick call. I just got an idea..."

Moxxi walk towards the telephone booth. The Interns shrug as they set up the race as quick as possible.
