The son of a fairly successful traveling merchant and Serafina, Nevark's youngest daughter. The family lived on the road which allowed for young Ace to see the many wonders Ebel had to offer. However one night out in the wilderness Ace wandered into the nearby forest chasing after a rabbit. Getting lost quickly, Ace happened to stumbled across the headquarters for a small time dark guild. Seeing this as a great opportunity they kidnapped him planning to get a large ransom out of it. However they didn't count on one thing, the absolute rage of a overprotective mother who arrived in mere hours. Using the magic she learnt from her time at Golden Leo, she quickly dispatched of the dark mages.
Never wanting something like that to happen to their son again, Ace's parents sent him to live with his grandpa knowing that he would be safe in his care, they could not have been more wrong. Nevark had always wanted a son to train to become the next guild master and Ace was the only boy in the Grappleor bloodline.
Ace at first found his grandpa to be scary with his loud voice and tough training regime. However he grew close to him as Nevark did all the things a normal grandpa did, reading Ace stories every night before bedtime, taking him camping once a year and even teaching him how to play poker.
As Ace turned seven Nevark began to worry, his grandson showed no progress in mastering even basic magic and on top of that he had inherited his father's scrawny physique. However on his birthday Nevark had taken him to a nearby carnival to celebrate. As they walked around the grounds something caught Ace's eye. Sitting in a game booth was a large stuffed animal that seemed to be calling out to him. The game to win it was simple enough using a B.B. gun shoot down 4 cups filled with water off a table with 5 shots. When Ace was handed the small toy pistol, something seemed to awaken within him as he took aim. Shooting the 1st cup off the table, the pellet continued to travel and disappeared for a moment then reappeared in front of the second cup knocking it over. The pellet continued to do this until all 4 cups were knocked over. Ace had managed to win the game in one shot, needless to say that the blue cat Ace won still sits on his bedroom dresser to this very day .
Now Eighteen, Ace is as determined as ever to try and become the next guild master for Golden Leo and make his grandfather proud. The place holds many good memories for him and he looks forward to the various adventures the future holds in store for both him and the guild.
Roleplay Sample:
"Ninety- seven, *pant* ninety- eight, ninety-nine, one hundred" Ace is able to mutter to himself as he finishes doing his handstand push-ups. As hard as the push-ups were the fact that he was currently balancing over his bedroom balcony railing was what was currently the foremost thought on his mind. Grandpa always told him the threat of danger always makes a man perform better, so all his training seemed to involve something that could leave Ace getting fairly badly injured. Smirking that he had finished in record time, he goes to bring himself off the ledge when his left hand slips. There is a split second moment where Ace realized what had just happened and why he currently was now plummeting towards the ground. Luckily he had been prepared in case something like this happened as he began to summon a portal that would lead to his safety landing zone, a large set of pillows sitting in the corner of his room. Crossing the threshold, he flew into the mass amounts of pillows which successfully cushioned his momentum. Laughing as he pulled himself out of the fluffy pile, he heads downstairs to grab breakfast with his fellow guild mates.
