Introduction

Image

For centuries there has been a hatred between those who do good and those who do bad. Now they find themselves in a situation where both leaders are fighting for the same goal, to rule over Dright. The war has become more serious than it ever has been and the heroes and villains have increased their strength drastically. It's now up to you to decide who wins and who loses, fight for Dright.

The two demon souls

Two brothers, one light and one dark, grew up with a deep hatred for one another, each with immense power. The dark soul was named Orcoth, the light was named Aleth. Their father, Krilloth, was sick of their continues fighting and so he placed a curse upon them. They were sent into the bodies of two human babies. Orcoth taught the child he was placed in to be evil and greedy, and to one day grow up to be the ruler of Dright. Aleth taught the child he was placed in to be kind and good, and to vanquish all signs of evil from the city of Dright, to be it's protector. When the brothers realised that they both wanted to rule the city, they set their humans against eachother. Orcoth took over the villains of the city and Aleth took over the heroes.

Species:

Vampire:
Vampires are Mythological beings who survive by feeding on the life essence (generally in the form of blood) of living creatures, regardless of whether they are undead or living. The vampires in this roleplay do not burn or sparkle in the sunlight, they just can't use as many of their vampiric powers as the sun weakens them slightly, though they are still very strong. Vampires are mainly weak to bullets (preferably wooden) or sources of uncomfortable bright light. They cannot control many powers other than the powers they gain from immortality and death (e.g. Flight, mind control, persuasion, immunity to diseases, etc), though they can do some types of dark magic.

Werewolf:
A werewolf, also known as a lycanthrope, is a mythological human with the ability to shift into the form of a wolf or a wolf-like creature. They have sub-human strength, heightened hearing, smell and sight. Although they have these qualities, they do not possess any other powers. Werewolves are also very gifted trackers and are valuable to any team.

Elf:
There are two types of elves, light and dark. The light elf is extremely talented in the use of healing magic and archery. The dark elf takes more of a liking to the darker magics (necromancy, dark magic, blood magic) and only have a limited knowledge of archery. The difference between the two is quite significant as the light elves have goldeny-yellow skin whilst the dark elves have more of a grey colour to their skin. Light elves are good, dark elves are evil.

Human:
Humans, if not a hero or villain, have no set talents or abilities. If they are a hero or villain then they have no limit to their power, every class is available to them due to their adaptability. They can be good, evil or even neutral.

Mutant:
Mutant's are mainly just an average species with a slight deformity that benefits them in some way. For example; a person having wings attached/sown onto their back will give them the benefit of flight. Again, their species does not have a set class.

Demon:
Like the elf, there is a dark demon and a light demon. The dark mainly center their power around magic and long/close-ranged combat. Whereas the good are more like angels, they use their voice to persuade or hypnotise and they are especially gifted in healing and color magic.

Class:

Mage:
A magician, which may also be known in various regions as a magic-user, mage, magister, archmage, sorcerer/sorceress, witch, wizard, warlock, enchanter/enchantress, illusionist, diviner or conjurer. They use or practice magic that derives from supernatural or occult sources. Their range of magic may include; Black magic, necromancy, color magick, elemental magic, blood magic, healing magic, etc. Mainly just anything to do with magic, or atleast something similar to it (Elves are quite fond of magic, so they will be the most relevant choice for this class, but humans are also allowed magic too).
Black magic- Supernatural power.
Necromancy- Death magic, shadows.
Color- Controlling emotions.
Elemental- Controlling any of the four elements (Fire, water, wind, earth).
Blood magic- Using dark and powerful magic with the cost of the user's blood.
Healing- Healing wounds, preventing bleeding, curing any disease.

Rogue:
Rogue's are very stealthy people. They must remain close to their opponent if they wish to fight effectively, but their ability to become invisible helps them a lot in that department. They will often be seen carrying two dagger-like swords. Rogues can be quite the mischevous and deceitful type, and would rather sabotage their own leader for money or power. Like the name suggests, rogues are like the 'lone wolf' type characters, very independant and free-willed (Rogues are mainly humans, but they will often be dark elves too. No other species for this class).

Warrior:
A warrior is a person skilled in warfare, close-quarters combat and handling a wide variety of weapons. The main weapon of choice for a warrior is probably a two-handed sword, though they do use one-handed swords aswell. Warriors are loyal to their leaders and will do anything they are told, though their strength allows them to often do as they wish. In modern times, warriors are rarely seen with swords, only guns.

Assassin:
Assassins are deadly killers, they are silent and careful when stalking their enemy. They will often try to find out as much as they can about a person before killing them, just to get a better idea of what they're up against or why the man has been sentenced to death. Assassins don't have overly large weapons, seeing as their job does not require them to engage in full-blown combat. They use throwing knives, daggers, piano wire, silenced snipers, etc. It's very rare that you see an assassin with magical abilities, but it's not impossible, their magic is limited to only the use of blood magic, which is not an attractive option. An assassin can be any species.

Lacey finally reached the Villain HQ and Aleth refused to talk to her. She hadto come up with a way to fet into the building unnoticed. But since she was an assassain it shouldn't be all that hard. She went to the back od the builing looked for a power box. She found it, opened it, and cut the wires with her daggers. It was about midnight so i made sense to have the power out.

She closed the box and went to front of the building and casually walked in there and was proud off herself. Except she realized now that te computers don't work. Calm down. Computers run on a different power box. Now you speak. She thought. He ignored her as she went to one of the conputers. She had to login and she cursed silently. She whispered a few ancient words used by her father and the computer signe her in. "Sometimes being a light demon has its perks."

She went through their files on heroes and she found hers. She went through it expecting simple stuff. Only to find that she was one of the few hereos wanted dead right away. She is a threat pretty much. Damn. I am wanted by like everyone. That sounds fun She thought thinking Aleth would reply. That's it She shut off the computer.

She was bored and she wasn't going back to HQ so she decided to wander the villains HQ an find things she could use to there advantage. She was of course looking for the weapons vault. She would hae the most fun in there.

((Just chillen' in the villains HQ! So badass))

((OOC: Thanks!))

"Hello there. Out for a midnight stroll, are we?"

Morgan had to hide his panic. He had not expected to be caught. This was more in turn due to the fact that he had an overwhelming sense of self worth and could be considered maybe just a little cocky, but either way, this caught him off guard. What seemed like millions of possibilities for escape raced through his head. Problem was, they all sucked. Badly. He couldn't lie. This isn't the bathroom! Orrrrr my house! He could tell she was ready for a fight, and she was probably good. This was no ordinary guard, and she clearly felt there was no need for back up, or she wouldn't have shut down the alarm. Why did she shut down the alarm? Time for that later, solutions were the key now. What else was a good idea? Anything? He tried to think of good solutions, but for the most part, he was trapped in a very small room with on exit.

And then he looked closer at the young elf.

"Wait...I know you."

He saw her flinch just slightly, his words not what she was expecting.

"Well, I don't KNOW you persay, but I've seen you," Morgan corrected himself. He could at least sweet talk, just a touch, and try to buy himself time till he thought of a better solution. "Your picture was sent out to all my...colleagues. There is a DO NOT KILL order out for you. That must be somewhat comforting."

Morgan snapped the jump drive with the virus in half. At least this way the virus would remain uploaded for a time. He could at least complete half his mission.

"I imagine in this scenario we don't shake hands, and I can't really give you my REAL name, but...they call me Vice."

The thief seemed to be in a small state of panic; a minute or so passed by before he even opened his mouth to speak. A man so bold as he to break into his enemy's headquarters apparently thought that he would get away unscathed, or even unseen? As he remained silent, Axel's eyes were noticeably changing into a bright blue, an unnatural shade not fit for any regular person, and a thick black rim outlined the iris, just as they had changed when she was dealing with the assassin. Her fingernails elongated and grew slightly sharper, but that was mostly the end to her change. It was a scare tactic, but she was still able to use Neruda's abilities without fully needing her.

Yet, his next words were both unsurprising and not all the same. Her eye twitched slightly; of course he knew of her. Nearly every villain knew of her. But this didn't put at all cause her to hesitate from trying to stop him from doing anything. Hearing a snap, she looked down at his hand, eyeing the drive that was not there before. Her gaze returned to staring at him; why he felt the need to introduce himself was unclear to her.

"Actually, that order isn't comforting at all," her voice flowed out of her mouth as if it was not her own, and it was a tad deeper than earlier, as if it held some sort of wisdom to it. "I don't care for your name, Vice. I don't care about my parents. You are trespassing, and, well," a faint smile curled upon her lips, showing that she, indeed, felt more emotion than indifference. "You couldn't kill me if you tried." Without missing a beat, she flung the scorching hot coffee towards Vice in hopes of simply distracting him, but much more would come out of it if he tried to fight back.

Re: Good vs Evil - Fight for Dright

Hey there, hi there, ho there. Just submitted a character sheet, hope you like it. This game seems fun, so, you know, I'd love to play!

Re: Good vs Evil - Fight for Dright

@Shadow44499

Indeed, we are.

Re: Good vs Evil - Fight for Dright

Still accepting characters?

Re: Good vs Evil - Fight for Dright

@RoleplayFreak - It's a modern roleplay, set in the year 2012.

@Merchant - Your character can be anything you want him to be, use your imagination. Also, we don't have any neutral spots. You're either good or evil, sorry. For now, I put your name on the evil side, let me know if you want me to change it to good.

Re: Good vs Evil - Fight for Dright

Curious about the strength level of Mutations Could you shapeshift, or simply your size I was thinking of becoming amorphous (pretty much an Ooze) to help me get into those tough to squeeze through places. What about telekinesis, or are mutations only physical and personal?

Is blood magic the only thing an assassin would use?

Submitted Character. Can he be freelance? If not I'm on the side of good.

Re: Good vs Evil - Fight for Dright

Interesting, I may work on a character. You mention guns, is this medieval or modern roleplay?

Re: Good vs Evil - Fight for Dright

Alrighty, I look forward to seeing your character.

Re: Good vs Evil - Fight for Dright

Whaaaa? This looks extremely interesting. I might take a villain in this, my friend.

Good vs Evil - Fight for Dright

Hey.

This is the OOC thread for the roleplay 'Good vs Evil - Fight for Dright'. If you're visiting this thread, you're probably either curious or you have a question. Below I'll be writing some Q&A's to help you out a little bit more. If you find that your question isn't there, feel free to PM me.

Q: "Can I reserve a character?"
A: Character reserving is not allowed here. It's more like a 'first come, first serve' sort of thing. If you find that there are no spots left on either the villain side or the hero side, then PM me and I'll consider adding another slot in for you.

Q: "Are those the only species/classes available for choosing?"
A: Yes, the species and classes listed on the introduction page will be the only ones available for you to pick. If you have any ideas of a class or species that could be added, PM me.

Q: "How many times do people post a day?"
A: Too be quite honest, I can't quite predict how active the members are going to be. I have countless other roleplays to attend to, so I assume this would be quite a fair-paced roleplay, though there may be fast-paced or slow-paced conversations going on somewhere else. It's extremely hard for me to guess, but I'm hoping for this to be fair-paced yet active.

((More questions will be added later on)).
