Ace is the second child of Patrick and Caroline Bronson, a well-to-do couple from Manhattan. They both work in finance, with Patrick owning multiple companies related to investments, and Caroline working as a senior lawyer for a New York firm. He has one sibling, an older sister, Samantha, who currently studies at Yale University as a senior pre-med student. Emotionally speaking, his family was always pretty normal and stable. He got along well with both of his parents for most of his childhood, and the only thing that ever put strain on his family life was a recent incident, where his mother's mother had a stroke, leaving her unable to care for herself. Ace's grandfather had passed away many years ago, so his grandmother didn't have him to care for her, and before the stroke, she had always been adamant in not wanting to be placed in a nursing home. Though with the family's money, getting her full-time care in her home was financially a possibility, Ace's mother insisted that she go down to Florida for the time being to live with her mother, in addition to the help of nurses and in-home care. While Patrick seemed understanding of this in the beginning, Ace has begun to suspect that he's growing impatient with his wife and how long she's been away for. It's not like Caroline hasn't flown up on multiple weekends to check in, and Patrick has flown down there several times as well, but his father seems bothered by this disruption in their very normal family life. Ace can understand it to a degree, but the situation has also led to him viewing his father in a slightly different light as well, because while he understands that a long distance marriage isn't an ideal one, his father seems unable to comprehend that his wife never wanted this to happen. She's the one dealing with an ailing mother, and on top of that, now a husband who wants to blame her for all of it, too. It certainly has not ruined their family, but it's the first major dilemma that Ace has ever had to deal with in his home.
Academic Career:
Ace's family pays full price for him to attend Saint Jude's, but he does well in school regardless. He's on the better end of being an average student, netting all A's and B's in his subjects. He plays on the lacrosse team, and participates on the debate team and in the student government association, as a treasurer.
Future Plans:
Ace has already accepted a recruitment offer to play on Georgetown's lacrosse team next year. He plans to major in business with a minor in economics.
