AimĂ©e was perhaps unfortunately just like her mother. Sometime ago, Faith Blade was forced to attend an academy just like the one AimĂ©e was currently heading towards. Of course, her mother ran into a bit of trouble though somehow she managed to graduate from the academy. Of course, she had no desire to continue in that line of eh, work, and so, she returned back to her home and eventually settled down with a new member of her fractured gang named Nathaniel Verona. They were married after a few months of courtship and a year or so later, little Aimâz popped her head out of her mom. She was quite healthy even considering the circumstances of the life her mother led while pregnant. Their joy was cut short when Nathanial was killed in a drive-by-shooting by an opposing gang. The same gang that had attacked Club Heaven and Hell and killed a ton of people, including Faithâs first love. Things kind of went downhill after that, and although Faith made sure that AimĂ©e was completely cared for and kept safe, things were never cheerful like they had been for AimĂ©eâs first five years. Ironically, that was around the same time Faith lost both her parents.
Lost in the thoughts of her past, Veronaâs fingers gripped the shuttle seat she happened to be seated upon. She still hated this type of transportation, but didnât really have much of a choice. Ironically, it was not her motherâs idea to send her to the Academy. Once again, the government thought they needed to step in and change whatever trajectory AimĂ©e was heading down to something more of their liking. It was clear that the government still thought the Blade family was the worst thing they had ever discovered, and their love-hate relationship was pretty much just as strong as it had been with her mother. In fact, when they showed up at her doorstep in order to tell her she was going to an Academy like her mom, their conversation was completely identical to the one they had with Faith.
What do you mean I have to go to a Gundam Pilot Academy? That wasnât for my mom and itâs definitely not for me. I refuse to go. If you send me, Iâll just disappear. Iâm sneakier than my mother.â
âYeah, we already heard that line from your mother. It didnât work for her and itâs not going to work for you. If you do not go to this academy and better yourself, you are going to rot in a jail cell. Thatâs the path youâre going down. Youâre just like your mother and we had to step into her life in order to make her better and weâre doing the same for you. This is for your own good. You have potential, you just need to apply yourself and realize you can make something of yourself. â
âIf I do this⊠you will finally leave our family alone, right? Thatâs the only deal I will accept.â
âMs. Verona, you know I cannot do that without permission from my boss. Weâll see how you do. However, if you get yourself into trouble, no one will be there to protect you. Youâll be on your own. Do you understand?â
âOtherwise, youâre going to use me like you did my mom and then keep bugging our family for your own whims.â
Unsure which was more ridiculous; the fact that she had gotten caught or the idea of going to some snooty academy, Veronia closed her Prussian eyes in order to block out everything going on around her. It wouldnât be long before they reached the Sylera Nox VI. The idea of being somewhere that didnât involve someone shooting at her appealed to her, but something told the teenager that the authority figures at the Academy would know exactly who she was or at least know who her mother was. Maybe the teachers that had her mom were retired already. One could hope, right? At least the students wouldnât have a clue as to who she truly was although rooming with some uncouth female might put a damper on her illusion. She missed her family immensely and hoped they were doing well.
âWeâre here. Disembark, now.â
âUh huh. Try to gain a personality before I come back on the shuttle.â
Walking out of the shuttle, AimĂ©e made her way through the crowd. It was difficult to maneuver through the people with her baggage, but it was doable. Grunting a little before shoving her way through the throng, the wanderer made her way towards the Nyte section. As she lugged her things, the lithe female scanned over her competition with distain. Rolling her eyes, she filed into line in order to gather her uniforms that had her last name on it in addition to the spiffy Nyte patch. The uniform wasnât exactly her type of thing and more than likely, it would remain in her closet to collect dust. At the moment she was wearing a tight fitting, curve flattering strapless black dress that rested just barely below her thighs. Prodding at the uniforms distastefully, she picked up the communication device and grinned widely.
âOooh, now this is more like it.â
Putting on the communication deal on her watch since it was in that form, the Nyte tossed the uniforms over her shoulder along with her baggage and glanced around for the room assignments. Immediately spotting the list, she grinned and walked over in order to figure out where she was supposed to go. It didnât take long to find her name and room and she made her way to her home away from home. Once in her room, she sat her things on the bed opposite of the one she was claiming. Her roommate wasnât around yet, which made her hopeful that she would be in a room alone. That would be absolutely fantastic. Sliding a few fingers through her ebony locks, she pushed the loose strands behind her ears. Sighing, she began to unpack her items, wondering what she was going to do for the next 48 hours.
âMaybe I should go cause some mischief. Nooo⊠probably too early to do anything naughty. Maybe Iâll go search out my captain or whatever. Or better yet, fabricate the captain stuff and pretend to be captain. No, thatâs too much work.â Stepping out of her room, she headed down a corridor, deciding to explore the ship and see what hidey-holes she could locate. The more the better.
