"Thank you, sister, for ignoring my humble opinion. Next time, I'll just keep it to myself..."
There's a reason that this rebel's nickname is 'Tigress'.
Actually, two. The first is her knack and love of hunting. As her primary weapon of choice is the bow and arrow, hunting is a great choice for her. She also enjoys the solitude.
Simultaneously, people around the castle (including a few of her sisters) consider Dreya cold and detached from others' lives. She rarely shows affection, even to her sisters and father. She does love them, she just looks out for them in a different way than expected. She may not express herself emotionally, but she does have a cold and calculating side that helps keep others' bad decisions from screwing things up. She has the clear head that can help find fatal flaws in people's plans. However, she comes across as merely argumentative and sometimes a bit annoying.
Despite all that, Dreya can be quite cheery at times, with a rather dry sense of humor. She is by no means the 'shrew' of the kingdom, instead, she is simply extremely hard to attract. As of now, her thoughts on love are the only thoughts that she would not express for the rest of the kingdom. Or anyone, for that matter. Not just yet...
Now, of course, she's even scarier than Chira. Wait, scratch that; Chira holds everything inside, while Dreya is rather blunt. She also slightly resents Chira for being so perfect, and Fahn for getting all the boys. Despite either of these, she loves all her siblings, with their flaws.
In fact, the only thing she hates are men who don't know how to keep their pride/lust/anger to themselves.
Dreya requires quite a bit of equipment for traveling. Aside from her brown leather chaps, she has her bow, quiver, and a short sword she uses for close conflict. Also, she constantly wears a blue crystalline necklace, which has no actual value or meaning.
Dreya is possibly the only princess with a true history already.
Dreya was born on July 5, 993. As the second child of the royal couple of C'elladore, Dreya always had a bit of responsibility to her younger siblings, and she always felt inferior to Chira, the golden eldest child. While she wanted to be a leader like Chira, she simply ended up as more of a loner than anything else.
As time went on and the girls all grew older, she found her love in hunting and fighting. She took up the bow and arrow and became a dead-eye. Occasionally, Dreya would spar with Chira using swords. It was a very lopsided match, since, Chira preferred the sword and Dreya had a love for archery.
Of course, when her mother left, she was just eleven years old. She understood the implications. She also let no one see her cry for her mother. From then on, she became hardened, swearing never to show emotion, and especially not to do something stupid that would mess up her whole kingdom (like stay with the man she loved and not have boy babies).
When she was fourteen, Dreya got so sick of her sisters (resentment, mostly) that she ran away for a week, causing panic across the C'elladoran castle. She headed in to a typical town, dressed up in peasant gear. One of the palace guards (she can't remember who) had to come talk her into coming home.
Now, she is pretty much ready for anything.
