It was fall at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Early October, the 16th to be exact. Leaves had already turned to briliant shades of red, yellow and orange, even providing for the Whomping Willow something that resembled beauty. Hagrid's garden was filled with the orange and green of his traditional giant pumpkins. On the steps of the school the students were assembled, watching and waiting for the arrival of their guests and mostly oblivious to the light rain that was falling. You see this year Hogwarts was once again hosting the Tri-Wizard Tournament. The eyes of the students eagerly cast of the uneasy waters of the Black Lake watching for the first sign of the ship from Durmstrang, while others intently watched the gray, cloudy skie for the first sign of the giant flying carriage favored by Beauxbatons.

The Durmstrang ship was the first to arrive, appearing in a magical whirlpool before smoothly sailing up the the lake shore and disembarking it's students. Johanna Lagerspetz, dressed in her school uniform of fur cloak, hat, and blood-red robes, walked up to the steps of the English school. She thought she might have heard some applause, cheering, or something of that nature, but she was too busy looking at the sky to tell. She couldn't help but let out a mournful sigh. It was completely clouded over and raining, with no signs of a break anywhere which meant no stargazing tonight. Turning her attention back to what was going on in front of her she passed the assembled Hogwarts students, who she smiled at brightly, and into the Entrance Hall. There was a fair amount of milling about by the Durmstrang students as they waited for the arrival of their French counterparts. Johanna found a nice little corner to stand in while they waited for the students from the other schools to enter and the Hogwarts students to lead them into the Great Hall.

Footsteps thumped down the hall outside. "They're coming!" a voice squealed. Rose Weasley sighed and shut her book. Standing up, she surveyed the empty dormitory. Everyone else had gone down to witness the arrival of the Durmstrang and Beauxbatons students. Rose was the only person who hadn't gone down to have a look yet. "What's the point?" she muttered to herself. "I already read about them. It's existed for over seven hundred years, it's near Cannes, and their Champion during Dad and Mum's time was Aunt Fleur."

As Rose thought more about it, she realized that there were still a couple of reasons why she should be downstairs. "I could learn more about France," she mused. Making up her mind, she picked up the heavy tome and made her way down.



Skye Abbey leaned over the banister, watching the tall blonde girl step off the ship. "Isn't she stunning?" he muttered to himself. "I could get used to all these pretty girls." He leaned over too far and lost his balance, tumbling to the ground below, landing on his face. A few people around him laughed softly, but he ignored them. He was too busy checking out the new arrivals.

I did not pace.
Nirvana Fayhe Blanca did not pace.

So if it looked like I was taking a pointless walk all the way to the hall and back, fists clenched, tongue scathing, then you were sadly and most definitely mistaken.
“Are we arriving soon?” I checked my watch again, as I made my way up the carriage, only to decide that indeed, I actually liked the other end better so proceeded to make my way back, “It's 9.45, damn it, 9. forty. five. Are we any where near? Are we going to be soon?”

I paused.

Out of all ridiculous things, I was not talking to myself.

I almost screamed when someone came up behind me, linking their arm in mine and pulling me along the hall. I glanced up and was met with the smiley face of Tiffany Sands, pointing us animatedly and alarmingly fast in the direction of the nearest window. I jumped out of my skin.

"Que pensez-vous!" I hissed, as she elbowed a fellow student earning a rather lethal glare in her haste, "What on Earth are you- oh."

I stopped, facing the gigantic glass that encased us from outside.

Before us was the biggest, darkest and scariest building I had ever seen in my life. Like, Gothic horror movie crossed with creepy asylum gone wild. Was that tree alive? I couldn't tell.

She didn't seem fussed though, pulling me toward the door.

"Welcome to Hogwarts" she smiled, seconds after I had spotted the building. The carriage pulled to a graceful stop, swooping in to land softly on earthly ground, "Creepy but breathtakingly cool? I think so."

I smiled nervously, too shocked to really hear what she said.

It had been years since I had been out of school let along in a completely different country. Cool didn't quite cover it.

"Quelle belle école!" I gasped, bright blue eyes drinking up the spacious grounds and wide, sparkling lake. "Je ne vais pas envie de partir..."

The trip was rather long, and somewhat unpleasant. She didn't like traveling by sea, to say the least. The whole trip she had tried to stay in her room and sleep, but when she couldn't sleep she had to take what few motion sickness pills she had managed to get. When they announced the ship had made it to Hogwarts, she rushed to land. As soon as she was allowed, she rushed off of the ship and up to the entrance of the school.

She took a deep breath while a small gust of wind blew her long auburn hair, making her bangs go into her face. Quickly, she removed the hairband from her wrist and used it to pull her hair back into a ponytail. Being on steady land was a relief and a small smile crossed her face as she fallowed the others into the Great Hall.

She was rather amused by all of the students who stood gawking them. Was this something that was normal? Maybe it was from their clothes, which most Durmstrang student wore. Red or black robes, cloaks with fur around the hood, and some people wore hats. Then again, the students from the other school seemed to wear things that would catch more attention then her own dark clothing. They wore such bright colors, she was glad that she did not attend their school.

As Renae Leap made it into the Great Hall, her green eyes scanned the area. She gazed at all the new faces and then at some of the ones she already knew. She noticed Johanna in a corner by herself. A small smile perched on Reap's face as she thought about doing the same thing, however she decided to just stand out of the way and wait for instructions.

A lone girl stared the window at the sky. She ran an absent hand through the fur coat of her friend and familiar, who purred loudly. "Cal, do quiet down some, the others will complain...." The large cat calmed down his purring as the carriage came to a gentle stop. She stood with the others and exited, Califer perched happily on her shoulders. She touched the large neck of the winged horse that was closest to her and frowned softly. The poor animal was frightened by all the noise. She made a soft purring noise in the back of her throat and calmed the white horse before moving onwards.

She looked up at the big castle and pulled out her journal. She began writing, in great detail, of the gloom castle as she walked. She knew eyes were on her but couldn't find the willpower to care enough. She finally found a place to stand, out of the way of everyone else and continue writing, my bright red quill dancing over the yellowing pages of my journal. At the end of the day, Arrow would come get the book and send it to her brother as his bird, Bow, would bring her, his.

She looked up to see someone topple off a banister of sorts. One of her brown eyebrows went up as the boy merely laid there. Califer hopped off her shoulder and over to the boy, making her follow. The cat seemed to nudge at the boy to make him stand. Wendy sighed as she now had to talk to the boy lest her familiar bug her all day. "Cal, let him stand before you go at his face."

As Skye watched, a cat wound its way over to him, nudging him gently. He smiled and ruffled its fur. "Whose cat are you?" he murmured, scratching behind its ears. A girl followed the cat over to him. "Cal, let him stand before you go at his face." Skye looked up. "Hello there," he smiled charmingly.

Sitting up, his eyes roved over the girl. She was pretty, and had Asian features. "You're from Beauxbatons, then?" he asked casually, handing the cat back to her. "I'm Skye."

Calisfer hopped back onto her shoulders and Wendy looked over the boy. Nothing too bad about him. Brown hair and pretty grey eyes. He was pleasing to the eyes. Maybe even a nice person. "I am." she said, stroking Calisfer's fur again. The white cat gave a singing purr. "I'm Wendy. You are from Hogwarts, yes?" She had to ask, just to be sure. "If you are, what's that large forest over there? And what might it hold, creature wise? It's quite large..." she muttered the last bit, more to Calisfer than the boy. She held her hand out, as Calisfer dug his claws into her shoulder again.

"My friend here insists I help you up. As much as I dislike touching other people, you don't seem as bad... Seeing as you didn't hurt Cal and all..."

Skye laughed. "Of course I'm from Hogwarts. Durmstrang just arrived, there." He pointed off in the direction of the ship. Wendy asked about the forest. Skye faked a small shudder. "That's the Forbidden Forest. I think there are centaurs in it, and unicorns, but I'm not too sure. I heard there was a werewolf once, though. Probably just rumors."

Wendy held her hand out to him. This was unexpected. Girls didn't usually reach out of their own accord. "You don't like touch others? What an honor." He grasped her hand lightly and pulled himself up, but didn't let go. "Welcome to Hogwarts."

Lacey leaned the wall of the carriage, her back to the window. A small cat with thick black fur, striking emerald eyes, and a short stub tail sat in her arms. At her side stood Jason Vail, her best friend. People often thought they where dating, simply because of how close they where. Quite honestly she had always had a crush him but didn't want to say anything and mess up what they had. Anyways, she loved being his friend.

As the carriage came closer to Hogwarts, she pulled her blonde hair into a loose ponytail, allowing a few stubborn strands to hand by her face. She looked like the stereotypical Beauxbaton student with her fair skin, blonde hair and blue eyes. But this fact annoyed her to no end. Lace was quite on edge- her eyes kept flicking to the windows and each time she saw no sign of the school. When she looked down and saw the where over water. She tensed up and turned away from the window, glancing at her friend for support.


As the carriage came to a gentle stop and students poured out, she hung back a little until the crowd thinned out a bit. being in large crowds had always made her rather nervous. Lacey stepped out of the carriage, and looked over Hogwarts. It looked quite. . . . gloomy. She glanced at Jason with a half smile. "What a bright, welcoming place."
Out of the corner of her eye she saw one of the winged horses paw at the ground nervously. With a gentle smile, she shifted Liam to one of her arms and gave the horse a soft stroke. She had always had a soft spot for animals.

Turning back to her friend, she smiled. Liam -who was clearly unhappy with the lack of attention her was getting- meowed loudly and looked up Lacey expectantly. Chuckling softly, she softly stroked her cat who purred cotently. "You are so needy." Lacey laughed as he wagged his stub of a tail as though he was a dog.

Wendy couldn't help the smile on her face as he spoke of the creatures. " Centaurs...? Unicorns..? Even a werewolf..? Wow... This place is awesome..." She whispered to Calisfer, who lets out his singing meow. "Agreed, I think we should go visit this Forbidden Forest soon..." She rolled her eyes at Skye. "Though I was just checking. I'm quite new to travel and both schools I've only read about... Never seen..." she muttered, somewhat grudgingly.

When he didn't let go of her hand, she took her other gloved hand and pried the boy's hand away from hers. "Just because I helped you up, doesn't mean we're long time friends... Do remember that." She held both hand close to her and inclined her head. "Thank you for the welcome, Skye. Maybe we'll run back into each other." She moved back to the rest of her schoolmates, her cloak drawn around her tightly.

Stupid thing posted twice.

Dominique had woken up that morning, a bright smile on her face. She was incredibly excited for the day, for welcoming the students and staff from Durmstrang Institute and Beauxbatons School to her own, to her beloved Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry. She had practically been jumping up and down all day, running down to Hagrid's Hut as soon as she could. The girl knew that he was supposed to be helping the Beauxbaton's students settle their carriage down, and she wanted to be there, to see it with her own eyes. Her own mother had been the Beauxbaton's champion in her school days, and she was petrified for Minnie's life. She didn't want her daughter to even put her name into the Triwizard Cup, but she was going to anyway. The blonde wanted to be part of the Tournament, to be written down in history books.

The arrival of the carriage was fantastic, the flying Abraxan horses that pulled the Beauxbaton's studetns were so majestic - the girl couldn't wait to help Hagrid to take care of them, feed them and groom them. Her heart almost stopped beating in her chest, her mind was reeling. Obviously, she felt a link to the school, but had chosen Hogwarts over there. Why? She didn't really know - she just felt that Hogwarts was going to be the better school for her, the best place for her to learn, to live, and to make friends. The arrival of the Durmstrang students was fantastic as well, a ship bursting out from the lake. She made a mental note in her head to ask the students how they survived under the water for such an extended period of time, but didn't bother one of them with it now - they had only just arrived, for heaven's sake!

Minnie practically skipped to the Great Hall, the excitement getting the better of her. She looked around, searching the crowds of people for anyone that she recognized, like Scorpius, James, or cousin Rose, but they were nowhere to be found? She sighed softly, before making her way to the Gryffindor table, sitting down with some of the students who had already gathered. Now, she had to wait.

Why was waiting so hard?

It was a long journey from Beuxbatons to Hogwarts and honestly? Jason had been regretting it for a long time. Not because he didn't want to come to Hogwarts, it was a honour to part of the students that were selected. Who didn't want eternal glory in all honesty? No, the reason Jason had dread this day was because he hated travelling by... unconventional means. He loved magic and he was fascinated by the Abraxan horses... but they were flying without engines, without... anything. It unnerved Jason slightly.

He took a small sigh of relief as the carriage came to a bump as they landed at Hogwarts. Good, they hadn't crushed. Although, he knew logically that the horses had been rested and were well feed and there was a very small chance of anything bad happening to them; he was reassured to be on solid ground again.

He stood up to let Lacy past and he caught her scent as she drifted past, she smell amazing, it didn't smell superficial, like perfume, it just smelt like... Lacy. She was beautiful, he would never deny of her that and she had the sweet personality to go with it. This was definitely rare, especially at Beuxbatons.
Jason had once had feeling for Lacy, but like so many of the other girls he'd met, they'd just stayed friends. Of course, the feelings for her were still there, but he'd established that nothing was ever going to happen between them.

He stepped out of the carriage into the bright sunshine. At least it was a sunny day, a miracle for england, Jason thought comically. When Lacy described the castle as being 'bright and welcoming' he laughed.
'I think you need to go and get your eyes tested love, the wall are grey. At least the suns out' He commented.

As Lacy stepped back to stroke the horses, Jason went to follow but sharp claws dug into his shoulder blade. Eduardo, his lizard was petrified of most animals that were bigged that he was. Honestly, for a lizard he was such a wimp! Jason bluntly ignored his pet's desperate attempts to stop him and proceeded to the front of the carriage to stroke the creatures that had brought them here.

'They're beautiful aren't they?' He said quietly to Lacy as he ran his hands through the horse's main,' and so fasinating too.'

“How long does it take James to get ready in the morning?” a question that has puzzled his family for ages, and today was no different with students from two other schools coming and more pretty girls then ordinary he had to be ready for everything. Looking at himself in the mirror her tugged on the newly form whiskers that seemed to form around his chin, and let out a small “ow!” not realizing it would hurt that much. “Damn you” he said and pulled out the razor, “you’ve met your match foul whiskers!” he laughed and started working on her facial hair.

He finely got it down enough to a sort of goatee looking thing, and thought for a minute “hum looks pretty cool…” he stood there looking at his mirror for a good half an hour before he figured to leave it for now, if the ‘ladies’ don’t like it he can always shave it off. “Alright” he grinned and turned his head to the one side, “Gravity do your stuff!” This was more common for James to do each morning, instead of putting a ton of hair products in his hair he simply adjusts his head and lets gravity do its work.

After a good half an hour of that, he is ready to get dressed and head down to the great hall by that time the other schools no doubt have already arrived so it wasn’t really worth it in his eyes to go watch them. So instead he decided to head into the great hall and look for something else to do.

James walked into the great hall and sat at Gryffindor table having noticed Minnie sit down when he came in. “Hey?” he asked looked about for anyone else. “See anyone else so far today?” he asked.

Skye laughed lightly, watching Wendy walk off. "Okay, maybe I was going a little strong," he admitted somewhat grudgingly. He dusted himself down, then sauntered off in the direction of the Great Hall, intending to get some breakfast.



Rose scoffed. The arrivals weren't really that interesting, she realized. Just then, her stomach rumbled. "All right, let's go," she told it. Turning, she made made her way to the Great Hall.

Sitting down, Rose glanced around for familiar faces, and spotted Cousin Dominique at the Gryffibdor table. Rose got up and made her way over. "Hi," she greeted the other girl. "Are you planning on entering?"

Lacy smiled as Jason joined her in stroking the horses. When he noted how beautiful and fascinating they where, she nodded. "They're gorgeous." She replied thoughtfully, her voice soft and soothing. The creature turned it's large head and pressed his nose into her hand, his soft whiskers tickling her palm. "Sorry, I don't have any treats." she laughed as the winged horse blew hot air in her face as he smelled her blowing her long blonde hair back. "I think got a little horse spit on my cheek." she muttered, wiping off her cheek. With a teasing smile, she patted Jason's arm, decreetly wiping her hand off on him.

Liam, who was not impressed with the horses, hissed and lept from Lacey's arms. He stood behind Lacey and Jason, making a low grumbling noise that sounded almost like a dog's growl. "Calm down, you grump." She rolled her eyes at her cat, bringing her attention back to the horses.

She glanced at Jason as he stroked the horses. He was very handsome, she she has always found his warm brown gaze comforting. She was terrified that is he was picked for the tournament, something would happen to him. She had already lost her whole family- she couldn't lose him, too.

"Are you worried?" She asked absently, figuring he would know what she meant.

Johanna looked around the interior of the school, smiling brightly. It was certainly a lot bigger than her school, and a lot more friendly looking. Durmstrang tended to be a very cold place, and not just temperature wise. Several students, that she decided were Hogwarts students since they weren't part of the Durmstrang delegation, could be seen coming and going through the entry hall, many going into the all adjacent which seemed to be a dining hall of some sort. She thought there was supposed to be some sort of welcoming feast in there and wondered about going in, but decided against it. This was a different school with different with different customs, so it would probably be best if she waited for instructions for what to do. Spying Renae Leap, a girl from Johanna's school who she considered to be a friend, Johanna decided to go join her.

"So, what do you think?" Johanna asked, smiling down at the shorter girl before turning her gaze back to their surroundings. "It certainly seems a lot nicer than our school. I wonder if they've got a better library than ours?"

Reap continued to watched all the mingling people before her attention was taken by Johanna. A small smile crossed her face as she gazed at her friend before moving her eyes back to a group of Hogwarts students. "I really like it to be honest." She started with a small chuckle. "Its warmer here, and not just the temperature. Everyone seems really nice." She stated then heard the library bit from Johanna. She gave a small nod and giggle, which was very soft so it didn't catch anyone elses attention, hopefully. "Well considering the school its self if larger, I would hope their library is larger. Then again, you know as well as I do that almost every library is bigger then ours." She gave another small giggle before adding "Except possibly our dark arts section."

Durmstrang was smaller then Hogwarts, which everyone knew, but they did have an impressive amount of knowledge on the dark arts and such. From Reaps understanding, her whole school was similar to one single house from Hogwarts. That was the Slytherin house. They seemed to be the ones who excelled in the dark arts, more then any other class. Then again, this was all hear-say to Reap, but time would tell.

Reap moved her eyes back onto Johanna for a moment. "So any news on where we are actually supposed to be?" She asked, since she hadn't been given any information. The last thing she was told was 'where are here'. From there, Reap had rushed off of the boat without another thought.

'Oh yeah, thanks for that!' Jason scoffed, mock annoyance lacing his voice as he tried to wiped the horse spit that the young girl had deposited on his sleeve, off vigorously. 'Serves you right for not having any treats on you' He said to the blonde with a small smile, fishing out some small cashew nuts from the inside of his bag. This had been for him for the journey, but he knew that he had a banquet to come in the great hall and he didn't think he'd eat them anyway. 'Here you go fella' Jason said soothingly to the horse, opening his hand and letting the horse feed from it.

When the horse had finished, Jason removed his hand from underneath the horses mouth and wiping it down his trousers. This outfit was already ruined, so there was no harm done. As he did this, Jason caught a reflection of himself in the gleaming windows of the carriage and his hand automatically went up to his hair. It had become a little frazzled in the long journey and it looked a little as if he'd been dragged through a hedge backwards. Jason contemplated grabbing his comb out of his bag and sorting it out here, but knew that Lacy would probably tease him for it. Best not, he'd sort it out later.

'Worried?' He said, turning away from his reflection to look at Lacy, she didn't look like the journey had affected her at all. She was the same pretty girl he'd always remembered. 'I'm a little nervous, but it'll pass' He confided in her quietly, giving her a soft smile. He was a big boy, he'd be able to look after himself, he was sure of it. He was smart and a very tactile person, he just wasn't sure whether he had the stamina.

Jason's attention came back to Lacy, his best friend. His heart had sank a little bit when he had found out she would be coming. Not because he didn't want her here, but because he didn't want her to get hurt. He found himself becoming extremely protective of the young female and he wasn't entirely sure why. He really didn't know how he'd feel if the goblet of fire threw out her name, He couldn't stop her, he knew that. Jason knew he'd support her, but he would be extremely worried. 'Are you?' He asked Lacy. Directing her own question back at her.

Well, that was that then. Dominique was now officially bored. She had been sitting there for the past ten minutes, picking at a roll that she had taken off of one of the full plates of food, but she wasn't really eating it. All of her excitement had practically died down, as there was no-one around for her to talk to about it. No-one had come down yet, no-one that she knew had been out there to see the arrival of the opposing schools, and she had even sat at the Gryffindor table instead of her own Ravenclaw one, hoping to see someone that she knew. However, to no prevail. The girl was still alone, and now she's was getting slightly irritated by the fact. A small huff escaped her lips as she gazed around the Great Hall once more, hoping to catch a glimpse of someone that she knew. But again, no-one. With that, the girl began to stand, deciding to hop back over to her own house table, to talk to some of the people from Ravenclaw, despite the fact that she didn't really get along with them as well.

However, just as Minnie turned to move, she was bombarded by people coming over to talk to him. James Potter was first, the boy that she had looked after her since that first day at the train station. Of course, she had seen him as a complete oaf, someone who cared too much about his appearance to care about anything else at all, but after getting to know him - James really was the sweetest boy around. "Bonjour, James." The girl spoke to her friend, the slight French accent in her voice coming through ever so slightly. "Nope, no-one's around, so it would seem." She sighed, before a small laugh escaped her lips. Her hand moved up to cup his chin slightly, her eyes widening at the goatee that had grown since the last time she had seen him. "James Potter, what is this monstrosity growing on your face?" She laughed, waiting for his reply.

Before the male could reply however, Minnie's cousin Rose showed up, interrupting the two of them sitting there. Dominique smiled up at Rose, nodding eagerly upon hearing her question. She removed her hand from James' chin, remembering that she was still cupping his cheek, turning around slightly to address the both of them. "Well, of course I am. Mother was a Triwizard Champion, and I have to make her proud. She doesn't want me entering, but I always usually do the opposite of what she says." The girl laughed, before gesturing to the two other people around her. "What about you guys? Are you entering the competition?"

Lacy laughed as Jason quickly wiped off his arm. "You are very welcome." She smiled, batting her long lashes playfully. When he took out cashews, she raised a brow. "Are cashews particularly good for horses?" she asked, but the creature seemed to enjoy it. Lace brushed his forelock from his eyes and softly murmured to him soothingly in French.

When she glanced at Jason, he had spotted his reflection and automatically touched his hair. She laughed and shook her head. He had an obsession with his hair. Standing on her toes, she pushed down on his shoulder gently to get him to lean over. She brushed his hair back and patted it down softly. "There. No need to carry around comb when you've got a caring friend." Lacy sent him a teasing smile, letting her own hair out of a ponytail and brushing it over one shoulder.

When he asked her if she was nervous, she bit her lip and rocked back into her heels. She was fast and a strong witch, but she couldn't swim. She wouldn't swim. It brought back such terrible memories. Absently, she glanced down and rubbed her arms. She would surely drown if she had to swim. But other then that, she wansnt worried. "Just a little. I only worry about that." she nodded to the lake.

Lacy looked up and Jason again. She knew he was strong and would probably do well, but she was still worried. They where close, and if something happened to him. . .
She bit down hard on her bottom lip.

Rose shrugged. "I don't know. I mean, Dad would certainly be happy, and I know he wants me to be like Uncle Harry, but I don't know if I would be able to survive even the first round." She looked around at James. His eyes were fixed on Minnie. Rose frowned. Both were her cousins, and she wouldn't want to interfere... But wasn't it kind of illegal to get romantically involved?

Whatever. It wasn't her business anyway. Minnie would know what to do.

"What do you think, James?" she asked casually. "I'm sure you're going, what with Uncle Harry winning it and all that."

Jason smiled a little about Lacy's question about the treat he fed the horses 'They're good in moderation, like butter beer for us.' He smiled gently at her. He heard her whisper softly to the beautiful creature in front of them and it made him, she seemed to love animals nearly as much as he did and that was good thing, it was one of the ways they had first bonded as friends.

He obliged when she bent him down to sort out his hair and gave a small smile whilst she sorted it. 'What so I can't sort my self out now.' He teased her, before straightening up and looking back to check his reflection in the reflection in the mirror. 'Much better, thank you.' He smiled down at her as she let her own loose, she defiantly looked better with her hair down, her decided. 'Can't have this Hogwarts students thinking I'm a scruff now, can I?' He said.

Jason followed his best friends hand as she pointed towards the lake, which wasn't too far from where they were both standing. 'Don't worry, if you drown, I'll save you.' He said to her playfully, although he knew how much it scared her...He walked other to Lacy and wrapped his arms around her. 'It's going to be fine, Lace, you'll see.' He said quietly, as he rested his head on top of hers gently.

Lacy laughed when Jason teased her. "Of corse you can't. It's silly to carry around a comb. Just keep me around and I'll take care of your hair that you so pride yourself in." When he said he couldn't have the Hogwarts students thinking he was a scruff. She mock- gasped, and laid the back of her hand on her forehead dramatically. "Oh no, that would be so terrible!" She smiled teasingly at him.

Lacy smiled and nestled into Jason's arms when he wrapped them around her and rested his head on hers. "I trust that you wouldn't hesitate." she told him honestly. It was easier to think everything while she was nestled in his arms- she felt safe and protected.

"I'm sure I'll be alright. And I know you would do well in the competitions, but I cant help but worry. I don't know what I would do if I lost you." she whispered the last part.
She rested her smaller hands over his larger ones, glancing down at them.
