|Personality|
Elias is the quiet type of hunter. Never says much to anyone except his sister. And even then he goes from one word answers to a complete sentence. He usually just let his facial expressions and sighs do that talking. He speaks more with his eyes than he does with his mouth. It can get him in trouble sometimes especially when he has to do a debriefing. He sums up a week work of hunting into about a sentence. Elias has started to write stuff down for debriefing, but they still want to hear him talk.

Eli is not really shy. He is more reserved. He doesn't mind being on his own, but he will welcome groups of people so long as they don't mind his silence. When he does speak, it's rather witty or sassy. Sarcasm seems to be the only language he knows when he does open up his mouth. No one really expects that from him and when they want an explanation he is back to the silence. There are a few times where Elias will go on in some kind of lecture or monologue. It's usually when he is really mad and completely blows up. That's when he sings his little heart out.

The hunter isn't one to share his opinion or feelings on anything. Even though he is rather opinionated, he just rolls with whatever even if it bothers him. It seems like he is a push over, but he really isn't. He just doesn't like being open with people. Even hunters are judgmental enough to keep him silenced. He does share his opinion more with his sister, but only when she asks a direct question.

The hunter announced that Jakub and Verena were under arrest. Verena managed not to laugh. Jakub couldn't care less. He let out a soft chuckle and ran a hand through his silky black hair. "Cute" he sighed. Verena mentioned something about giving the man a chance, she was always so generous, but Jakub didn't feel like playing around at the moment. "I'm not quite sure I want another tattoo so soon, why don't you take him" he said, kissing his girlfriend's lips for a moment before turning to walk away and give her some space. Much to his surprise, his eyes meet a pair of dark brown ones. Another hunter. No, twoā€¦threeā€¦four more. Now things were getting interesting. Jakub's bright blue orbs scanned the hunters' faces. Either him or Verena could easily take them all, but it was always much more fun as a duo. "Welcome to the party" Jake smirked, his black nails slowly stretching out into sharp, needle like claws. The hunters' eyes were directly drawn to them. If they didn't know who he was by the tattoos and the flirtatious smile, they certainly would know now. Each of the hunters positioned their guns, ready to gun down the two demons that were now at the very center of a small circle. Jakub felt the adrenaline racing through his veins. The urge to kill them all was becoming stronger by the moment. This would be a fun night.

Eight year old Eliana was enjoying the day out with her family. She walked happily alongside her father, her small hand in his, and would occasionally glance over at her mother and brother. Their parents always looked for opportunities to take them out to have fun, and Eliana always loved that. Though he didn't say much, Eliana and her twin brother Elias got along very well. They were always together everywhere they went. They were even mistaken for the other when they were younger. Eliana leaned her head on her father's arm as they walked down the bustling streets of New York. They had gone for ice cream and now they were on their way to watch a movie. Eliana could hardly contain her smile. She couldn't wait to get back home after watching and talk with Eli all night about how much they loved it. Or rather, Eliana would talk and Eli would just nod along, laughing or adding in a comment here and there. It was going to be a fun night.

Verena kissed her boyfriend more than ready to take on the hunter by herself. But then she heard Jakub welcome a couple people. And buy the silence and metal sounds, they were also hunters. Now they were going to have some fun. Her grey eyes shined with delight as her freshly painted nails formed razor sharp claws. The hunters should have known who they were pointing their guns at. If they didn't then they were digging their own tombstone. The dark haired demon decided it was time to make the first move. Within the blink of an eyes she was up close with the hunter and she ripped his gun away from him. He swung at her and she kicked his chest. Verena tossed the gun to the side and walked closer to the hunter, whom was now pushing himself off the ground. She left him find his footing and swing a couple times. All were misses, except for the one he got to her stomach. She took a few steps back before dropping low and taking out his legs with her claws. He cried out and fell to his knees. Verena smiled, enjoying the pain she was giving.

Elias was enjoying the book he was reading. As well as the time he was spending with his family. Earlier they had gotten ice cream and he managed not to spill anything on his book. The ice cream was rather delicious and it was nice to listen in on his family conversations. He through in some input every now and then, but ultimately he was eating and reading. Eli held his mother's hand as they walked down the street. He looked over to his father and sister, with a small smile. He was very close with his sister even if he never said he was. Eli always listened to her and she made it her mission to understand him even when he isn't talking. Which is most of the time. Now they were headed towards the movies and his twin couldn't contain her joy. With a slight shake of the head, he leaned his head against his mother's arm. Elias couldn't read in the theater, but he enjoyed watching movies so it didn't matter.

As the hunter was knelt before her, she placed the palms of her hands on the side of his forehead. Her eyes were black for a mere moment and then she back up with a wide smile. For a moment the hunter was confused to what had happened, but then he lost it. He clawed at his head as he started to lose his sanity. Verena grabbed the gun that she had tossed away and walked back up to him. He was practically clawing his eyes out which meant the hallucinations were kicking in. The demon handed the hunter back his gun. He should have shot her. He could have. But he was just going to put himself out of misery. Some blood got on her cheek after he pulled the trigger on himself. She wiped it off and turned around. Immediately her eyes fell on an unwanted demon. "What the hell are you doing here?" She asked, the smile falling off her face. "Joining the party." If their weren't so many hunters around, she would have killed him. But right now, she was dealing wit some others. Verena appeared behind another hunter and immediately snapped their neck. She didn't even play with that one.

Eli was wondering about the type of movie they were going to be watching. Hopefully it was something funny. He liked to laugh and when his sister did movie recaps, they were funny. Just then Eliana grabbed his attention and pointed out a glorious. Someone was selling cotton candy. He ran with his sister towards the delicate sweetness. As they got closer towards it, they lost their parents. Finally they stood before the colorful bags of sugar and then Eli turned to have his parents get them a bag. But they weren't there. In fact he couldn't see them anywhere. He tapped on Eliana's shoulder with a look of panic on his face.

"Don't be like that Jakey, after everything we've been through? I even forgave her when you left me for that witch" Verena let out something that was close to a growl. How dare that bastard compare her to a witch. She was way more powerful and way more graceful than the average witch. She hated him. And she was going to kill him. The demon made her way towards Lucio, but then another hunter dropped blocked her path. The demon rolled her eyes, not happy to be interrupted from the kill in mind. Within moments her claws found her way inside the hunter. The hunter gasped not expecting such intrusion. Verena took the gun from the hunter and shot her in the head without a problem. When she dropped the hunter, she held up gun towards the unwanted Demon. "I think I am going to be doing the hunters a favor." She said, no humor to her tone. Then she was completely distracted by a beeping. It was persistent and annoying. Jakub was on the hunter that made that noise. But whatever it was meant to do, it was already too late. "That's enough for tonight. All three of you are under arrest for numerous counts of murder of civilians as well as members of the organization. I know exactly who you are. Your fun is over.." Verena was not expecting him to show up. Despite the presence of the unwanted, her night might have gotten better. She turned around to face one of the most powerful hunters she has ever faced. "Well hello there Theron. Before you get to the arresting part let me kill this one." She said, glaring at Lucio. Lucio growled back at her. "Stop messing around Verena. That thing is dangerous. And you should be using it on him." Was that demon stupid? You don't just kill a hunter like him. But the idea has crossed Verena's mind.

The twins were freaking out. They had no idea where their parents were. Eliana was voicing their concern while Eli jus looked freaked out. His voice was taken from him at the moment. He couldn't even think about calling out. He allowed his sister to drag him around in search of their parents. People saw the kids looking and screaming, but no one stopped to help. Not a single one. Loose kids on the street must have been common. Elias didn't really care for anyone at the moment. He just wanted to find his mom and dad. Then there was a whole bunch of noise close by. Through In Elias' mind he thought his parents were digging around and cause mayhem looking for the twins. So Elias stopped running and pulled his sibling in to a halt. Then he pointed to where he heard the noise.

Verena was about to pull the trigger on the dumb demon, but Jakub was holding his hands up in surrender. She knew that if she pulled this trigger the hunter would just kill her. Cursing slightly, she dropped the gun and put her hands up. Well it was good run while it lasted. Then all of a sudden there was a scream of agony coming from the hunter. He was on the ground, gasping for his last breath of air. Verena stared wide eyed knowing Jakub would never do such a thing. Lucio stood behind the most powerful hunter, laughing. "What the hell is your problem?" Jakub was furious. "Do you know what you have done!" Verena called out, moving closer to where her boyfriend and the dead hunter was. The demon was going to kill Lucio. It needed to be done. Every sane demon knew that messing with the higher ups was a dumb idea. But Lucio didn't care. And didn't seem to want to take the blame. Before they could register it, he was gone. Only the echo of his laughter remained. "Curse him." She muttered. Her and Jakub needed to get out here. But within moments, more hunters showed up. Surprised and horrified. One of their leaders was dead and the demons who seemed to have done it was Verena and her boyfriend. Nothing good was going to come from this. Just then two little kids emerged, but Verena was more concerned for the fact that an entire army of hunters was now going to be after them.

Elias followed his sister towards the noise hoping that he would find his mother and father. But there was a just a whole bunch of adults standing around. Eliana grabbed one of their attentions explaining the situation. For a moment there was just silence before they moved allowing for an opening. They slowly made their way through towards a lifeless body on the ground. Elias was hoping that there parents had nothing to do with this body. But as they grew closer, Eli knew exactly who was on the floor. His twin gripped his hand and Eli eyes filled with tears. He dropped his book and moved closer towards his father, letting go of his father's hand. "Papa?" He managed, thinking that for some reason he would wake up at the sound of his voice. There were two people near him, but only one man hovered over. Eli couldn't make out his face.

Verena was trying to figure out a way out, but Jakub was way ahead of her. He took hold of her and ran. The demon easily caught up. They dodged many bullets. They ran all the way back to his apartment. When they were done, she took a few breaths. Verena tries not to run very often. As she registered what had happened, she kicked a hole in the side of the brick wall. "That stupid demon. I am going to kill Lucio." She stated as fact.

Verena was done make suicidal human beings. After a while they were all doing the same thing. Shooting themselves. Jumping off a building. Hanging themselves. The demon was done with the repetitious kills. And it was getting late, hunters would be walking around ready to kill any demon that dared showed their face. Verena has been trying not to kill anymore hunters, but it was hard with them after her and all. Combing her fingers through her hair, she started to head back to her home with her boyfriend Mathias. She wanted to cuddle with him and feel his warmth. Due to his werewolf he was super cuddly and extra warm. She loved that about him. At least that was one of the things she loved about him. There were so many other things that it was too long a list to name all of it. A smile came to the demon's face as her thoughts filled with boyfriend. It wasn't long before she walked into her house. "Matty I'm home!" She called out, shutting the door behind him. Verena was hoping he was home but he could be with his pack. They were still relevant in his life.

Eli flipped a page in his psychology textbook. It was rather interesting trying to understand the theories that many people had when it came to the mind. He still couldn't find a theory that had to do with silent children or children that talked to much. He glanced up at his sibling before going back to his textbook. Maybe there was some strange theory on twins that don't quite share everything equally. Not that he minded not talking. In fact it allowed him to listen more and enjoy things more. Like this psych textbook. His eyes found the clock and he let out an audible sigh. It was the first noise he has made for the past two hours. He was too buys reading to say anything. Elias folded the top corner of the book before closing it. He rolled out of bed and dug around in his top drawer for gun. It was his turn for the hunt patrol. At least between the two of them it was. He has forced Elie to go out for the pass week so that he could finish studying for a test. But he agreed through writing to go today. "I'm leaving." He attached the gun holster to his belt along with the clips full of gold bullets.

Timothy turned off the tv. The show that came on didn't have subtitles so there was no point to having it on. Instead he decided that he should at least get some schoolwork done. Even if was going to be difficult. There were some notes he didn't get because the sign language translator missed some things. He walked over to his desk and logged into his computer. He wanted to see if the teacher put up any notes online. If she had, that would be great. While he waited for it to boot up, he flipped open his math textbook. Not his best subject, but numbers were much easier to understand without a teacher or translator. He started working on the homework problems when he felt a persistent vibration. Looking over, he saw the light of is phone blinking. Reaching for it, he saw that he got a text. A friend of his was having a party and Timothy was invited. He checked the time the party was supposed to start and then he checked the actual time. He could get most of his homework done and still attend the party. He agreed to the party and officially started doing his work.

There was no noise being made in the house. Verena assumed that he was out with his pack. They always tried to take up the other half of his time. But when he is with him, he is practically exhausted from running around with them. The demon doesn't mind that he is spending time with his family, but it was annoying that she had to share him. Sharing wasn't something she was an expert at. She dropped her keys on the table near the front door and walked towards the kitchen. The demon poured herself a glass of water to take with her to her bedroom. Since no one was home she could walk around in her undergarments. Well she could still do that with Mathias, but she doesn't get the same kind of peace she does when she is by herself. The demon took a sip of her water and pushed open the door to her bedroom. Her eyes easily found the wolf tangled up in the sheets. He seemed to be in a deep sleep since he couldn't hear her call out to him. Walking closer to the bed, she placed her glass of water down on the nightstand. A soft smile came to her face. He was so peaceful. Moving over to her closet, she pulled off her clothing leaving her in her bra and underwear. Then she moved back to the bed, crawling under the sheets with him. It wasn't because she was tired, it was to get his warmth. Verena pecked his lips, but pulled back rather quickly. It tasted like alcohol. She rolled her eyes. That dumb pack. She was going to let him sleep, but he needs to drink water and shower. "Mathias. Mathias wake up." Verena demanded, shaking him slightly.

Elias ran his fingers through his hair nodded as his sisters concern. They were both usually careful, but expressing ones concerns was something of habit. Especially after their father died at the hands of demon during an arrest. Some demon name Sting did it. Neither of the twins knew what he looked like or his actual name. But they hated him. It has become a mission of his almost to find him and eradicate him like they did with the demon that killed their mother. Both of the twins prayed daily that Isabelle, their new guardian, would come home to them every night. They were sick of losing people they cared about. With a final wave to his sister, he left the building and started his walk. Eli cursed himself for not bringing a book. Sometimes if its a slow night, he just reads in the park until dawn. He made sure to remind himself to bring a book next time he went on patrol so that he isn't extremely bored. Elias stuffed his hands into his pockets and he slowly made his way down the street. He looked around every now and then to keep his eyes on something strange. Or a demon. Up a head he spotted a demon. One that was rather familiar, though he couldn't place his finger on why. So he just started following it. Eli wasn't trying to arrest him or kill him, he was just curious of the familiarity of the creature. ā€Can I help you, little hunter?ā€ A sigh escaped the hunter. He was trying not to get caught for this exact reason. Explaining himself. "No. You can't." Elias said simply. He didn't even draw his weapon. There was no need. Demon wasn't doing anything wrong. Elias was the one following him.

Timothy finished all of his math homework and could barely get through his history homework. The notes were half done and the teacher didn't put anything up online. So he struggled through trying to see if he could figure it through the textbook. It was the only thing that allowed him to finish it. Tim either needed a better translator or he needed to convince the teacher that the notes should go up online. Checking the time, he saw that the party would be starting soon. He got up from his desk, after shutting down his computer, and got dressed. Timothy went with dark blue jeans and a plaid shirt. He combed his fingers through his hair and slid into a pair of black sneakers. Timothy glanced over to his hear aids and decided against having them. They were only used to block out loud noises to his sensitive ears. But he liked the feel of the loud music against his ears. He pocketed his phone and keys before leaving. The party wasn't far from where he lived so walking wasn't a problem. Within moments he knocked on the front door and his friend opened it up. "Glad you could make it Timothy!" She exclaimed. Though she put emphasis on her enunciation so that he could read her lips. Thanks for inviting me He signed with a smile knowing she had no idea what he was saying. She just let him in and immediately he could feel the bass of the music vibrate on his skin. He just knew that he was going to have fun. Or least some kind of fun.

There was an earthquake happening. Mathias struggled to wake up, he had to get out of the house before it crushed him. He had to find Verena and make sure she was okay. He popped his eyes opened with a start and looked around frantically to make sure nothing had fallen on him, but nothing was even moving. He blinked a few times, realizing his girlfriend was there with him, and the earthquake had just been her shaking him. He sighed in relief and grumbled something incoherent before wrapping his arms around her and pulling her against his chest. He rested his chin on her head and let out a satisfied sigh. Now he could sleep soundly. He was still halfway in his sleeping state and didn't even think about why Verena had shaken him to wake him up. All Matt wanted to do now was sleep with his beautiful and possibly irritated girlfriend. He knew she didn't like it when the pack took him out to drink, but it was tradition. It had been established long before Mathias met her, and he couldn't not join them. Of course he didn't have to drink, but everytime he said he wasn't going to drink the guys shoved all sorts of drinks into his mouth. Eventually he just continued to drink on his own. Luckily that was only once a month. The rest of the month, aside from the night of the full moon, he spent it with Verena. This was one way they could spend time together, sleeping off the hangover from the night before.

Image

Jakub was fully expecting the hunter ro say something like "You're under arrest" or anything variations of that which implied Jakub being handcuffed, turned into the organization and eventually killed for his sins. Instead he got a plain and somewhat amusing response. Jakub's eyebrows dissapeared into his hairline for a moment before coming back down. He turned around, wanting to get a look at the face of this hunter. As he did, Jake's bright blues met with the hunter's and he had to admit, he was the cutest one he had seen in a very long time. What surprised him the most was the man's facial expression. He didn't look angry, nor surprised like the majority of hunters he had ran into recently. I'm fact he looked as if he had no idea who Jakub was. Strange, but a big relief, assuming he wasn't simply acting to ambush him later. Not to mention, his face had a very familiar air to it, as if they had met once before, but Jakub would have remebered meeting someone so handsome. It could just be a coinsidecne. Perhaps he just have one of those faces. "You're patrolling all on your own? Such bravery" Jake said, his lips curling into a subtle smile. The small silver chocker on the demon's neck jungled quietly as he stepped closer. "Please be careful. It'd be a shame if anything happened to that handsome face of yours". Jakub had no problems with complementing others, even when he didn't nesesarily like them, though this particular hunter had left an unusual impression on him. He would have stayed longer, but he didn't want to risk the other suddenly pulling out a gun. He didn't want to fight now, so he simply continued to walk in the direction he was headed before, giving the handsome man a quick wave before dissapearing into the nearest alley.

After what seemed like centuries though it was just a few hours, Eliana finished her homework. She looked at the clock, quickly shutting the book once she realized it was time to get dressed for the party. Neither Eli nor Izzy were back yet, so it looked like she had no choice but to go out as well. At least that's what she told herself. She glided over to her closet, immediately locating a short red dress she had saved for parties and special occasions, along with a strap pair of black pumps. They stood put from the majority of her other shoes, which were mainly knee high or combat boots and sneakers. She didn't wear the sneakers very often. Boots were her footwear of choice anytime she went out hunting, and she spent the majority of the time at home barefoot. After fixing her make up, sliding on her favorite shade of red lipstick and letting her long black locks down, she slid into her dress and heels. Not too dressed up, but just dressed up enough for the occasion. The hostess' house wasn't too far from Eliana's. It only took a few minutes to get there. As soon as she knocked on the door it opened to a very excited looking blonde. "Am I too late?" she joked and was immediately pulled inside. Elie looked around, locating several faces she recognized. Many of the people there knew here, but she wasn't close with any. Being a demon hunter in a secret society didn't allow you have any close friendships. Her only close friends were her brother and godmother. Sad, but that was a hunter's reality. As she worked her way through the crowd, saying hello to everyone she knew, she spotted one face in particular and smiled. If there was anyone she was glad to see it was Timothy. She squeezed her way through and gently tapped his shoulder, greeting him with a smile and a quick wave once he turned around.

Verena was about to say something to Mathias when he work up. He seemed to be a bit worried when he had awoken. Like something dangerous was happening. But once they locked eyes he calmed down. The demon couldn't believe that her wolf had just fallen back to sleep. Her boyfriend was so comfortable and she was a hard time being upset with him as he cuddled her. But the demon needed to stand her ground about how she felt with him going out and getting drunk. She was not sleeping off his hangover especially when she wasn't tired. "Matty." She mumbled, pushing him away. He needed to wake up. She couldn't scold a sleeping wolf. The demon sat up in bed, shaking him some more. "Mathias. You smell like alcohol." she told him, reaching over and grabbing the glass of water she had earlier. She took a sip of it and then held it out for him to take when he got up. "Drink some water." She said to him.

Image

Elias looked over the demon when he turned to face him. The hunter was not going to lie to himself. The demon was rather attractive. Especially his eyes. There pale blue eyes were just easy to get lost in. He was trying imagine seeing those particular eyes more often. Although the hunter was checking out the demon, his face remained neutral. He wasn't going to give away the fact that he found him attractive. Not at all. "You're patrolling all on your own? Such bravery" Elias refrained from rolling his eyes. Walking outside in the dark wasn't all that dangerous. He has been doing it for years. And he had a loaded gun with gold bullets. If something were to go wrong he would just shoot them. The demon took a step towards him and Eli almost pulled out his gun. Ever since he was taught how to be a hunt, he refuses to let demons get close to him. Too close becomes a danger zone. "Please be careful. It'd be a shame if anything happened to that handsome face of yours" The demon called him pretty. That was one for the books. And just as he saw him, he left. Elias was not going to follow him this time. The hunter turned around and headed in the other direction. Crossing through a park, he saw a couple of demons gathered around. He was going to turn around and walked away because he wasn't powerful enough to take them all on, but they spotted him. "Hey hunter! Come to play!" They called out. Elias cursed to himself. Immediately he drew his weapon on the demons that were surrounding him. Elie was not going to be pleased. Especially because she had told him to be careful.

Image

Timothy sipped from his water bottle, feeling the beat of the music. He had no idea what song it was, but he didn't care. He just liked the way it felt. He waved hello to people that he knew and turned down those who asked him to dance. He had no idea what was being played so his dancing was always off. It was better just not to look like a fool. He finished his water and tossed the bottle out. He checked his phone decided how much longer he could stay without feeling the need to skip school from exhaustion. It was then he felt someone tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see Elie waving at him. Timothy smiled. She was one of the few friends he hand that understood that he couldn't always read lips. On top of that she even knew sign language. Easier communication. Hey Elie. How have you been? He signed, kind of slow. He would have signed faster, but he didn't know if there was something else around that could have distracted her. He would sign faster later.

Mathias didn't understand why Verena wouldn't just let him sleep. He was only about twenty percent awake anyway. She mentioned his smelling of alcohol and he groaned. "I know". Unlike usual, Mathias hadn't drank that much though it probably looked and smelled like he had. If he remebered correctly, which wasn't as hard to do now without the headache bothering him, one of the guys in the pack had gotten so drunk that he needed to be carried, used Mathias for a piggy back ride and spilled beer all over both of them in the process. Matt's muscles were sore from having to wrestle with a drunk man, as well as from the hangover. He let out a soft huff and slowly opened his eyes again. Surprisingly they weren't blood shot, but his vision was a tad blury. He could make out a glass of water being handed to him and he sighed, slowly pushing himself up into a sitting position and taking the water. He handed the cup back to Verena and stretched his arms. "I guess I should shower huh?" he said innocently, inserting a crooked little smile.

Jakub had continued walking, creating distance between himself and the hunter just to be safe, but for some unknown reason the hunter's face remained edged into his memory. Jakub couldn't tell if it was because he was attractive time or because his face was so familiar. Jakub thought long and hard about where he could have met this man before but nothing came to mind. Clearly he wasn't one of the hunters that had tried to arrest him before, considering the man didn't even know who Jakub was. They might have passed each other on the street but the way Jakub could picture that face in his mind assured him that it was a little more than that. Maybe next time they saw one another he'd figure it out. For now be disagreed the topic all together, forcing the hunter out of his mind and continued on his way. He didn't get very far before hearing a mixture of screeching and crying out in pain. It was somewhere near by and it sounded like a demon had found a human to play with. Jakub rolled his eyes, remembering when he was that naive and careless and headed in that direction. He didn't plan on involving himself in the fight or anything of the sort, he was just curious as usual.

When Timothy greeted her happily Eliana smiled. She hadn't seen her friend in several days and for some reason just looking at his face made her feel a bit more relaxed. "I'm good! So glad I found you" she said as she signed it at the same time. She covered her ears a bit when the music picked up and made an uncomfortable face. Timothy wasn't bothered by the loudness, of course, so she attempted to ignore it so she could continue talking to him. "I haven't seen you lately, what have you been up to?" she continued to say and sign. Though she could speak sign language, she wasn't an expert, not like Tim. She forgot and skipped over words frequently, specially when she attempted to sign quickly. Now she was signing a little slower. She wanted to make sure she got every word correctly. She hadn't been able to talk to Tim in too long and she didn't want either of them to miss anything.

Verena watched her groggy boyfriend officially wake up. He took the glass of water and sipped it slowly. The demon ran her fingers through her hair, looking over him. Although he smelled like alcohol it didn't seemed he had had that much. His eyes weren't read and he was able to register what was going on around him. The pack didn't completely mess him up so she wasn't upset with them. There were times where waking him up was almost impossible. The demon spends those days with Jakub. It was just better. The smell of alcohol was just too overwhelming for her. Verena took the cup back and finished the rest of the water before setting the cup back down on the table. "I guess I should shower huh?" she found her boyfriends eyes and couldn't help but smile. "Yes you should." She said, giggling a bit. If Vera didn't love him so much, she would have been a little bit more sarcastic with her statement. But he was her wolf. Her love. He was just having fun with his friends and they just left her to deal with the aftermath. "I will be here for you when you get back." She reassured him.

Elias was trying to decide whether or not he should attempt to call back up. He didn't want to drag any more hunters in a dangerous situation. Quickly evaluating the situation he figured he could take them all if he worked quickly. Five of them and one of him. Not the best of odds, but the hunter had a chance. The first demon that took a step closer to him had a bullet to the forehead. He disappeared and the others weren't very happy. Four left. The demon came charging at him and he dodged all of them. Eli took hold of one demon and punched it hard in the face. As it was trying to recover, he roundhouse kicked it into another on coming demon. Those two dropped to the ground and one was running up behind him. Eli turned and pulled the trigger once more. Two down. Three to go. The unharmed demon came running at him, throwing his fists left and right. So far Elias was doing a fine job dodging the blows, making sure that he didn't get hurt. When one of the demons off the ground came charging at him behind, Elias rolled out of the way forcing the demon to hit the unaware monster. Elias pulled the trigger on the demon on the ground. Three down. Two to go. But these two weren't going to let the hunter get to them so easily. One appeared before him and knocked the gun out of his hands. The second demon appeared before the hunter as well and punched him hard in the stomach. The other dragged his claws across his cheek. Elias let out a scream. He was being ganged up on. The hunter needed his weapon. He swept his legs underneath both demons causing them to fall. Once they were down, he went after the weapon. Taking hold of the gun one of the demons came and dragged their claws down his back forcing out another scream.

It was nice to see Eliana. It had been a while since he had last seen her. Both of them had been busy and don't exactly run in the same circles. It was a coincidence they shared a mutual friend at this party. He noticed that she was signing rather slow. It must have been a while since she has last had to use it. Timothy picked up her facial expression with her signing. The music must have been really loud. All Tim could feel was the bass, which wasn't a bother. But it might be too much for Elie. She was playing it off as if it wasn't all that bad. I've been busy with school. He signed while shrugging his shoulders. School was taking up a lot of his time. Between translators, crappy notes, and homework he was always busy. It was a miracle he even had time for this. Timothy gave a quick look around. If the music bothers you we can go out in the back. He signed, still signing slow. Her sign language was rusty so he was making sure she understood all the words.

Verena didn't seem to be very mad at him, so Mathias was relieved. His smile grew a little bigger and he quickly leaned in to give her a peck on the cheek. He most likely tasted like alcohol so he opted to spare her of having to taste it too. He slowly pushed himself up off the bed to avoid getting dizzy and stretched. His subtle muscles became a bit more noticeable as he stretched his hands over his head with a yawn. After glancing at the clock he couldn't help but scold himself. He was just barely getting up and it was almost time to go to bed. At least he could get cleaned up and have some of his girlfriend's delicious cooking. That was all the motivation he needed. "I'll be back!" he said with a light smile before grabbing the nearest towel and heaving into the bathroom.

His shower took a little longer than he had meant it to. The hot water just felt so nice and relaxing, mixed with the smell of the soap. It made him want to curl up and go to sleep right then and there. Eventually he had to force himself to turn off the water and get out. He didn't bother grabbing any clothes earlier so he quickly dried his hair and body with the towel and wrapped it around his waist and walked out into the bedroom.

The screams of pain were becoming louder, just as the screeching was. Some demons just didnā€™t know how to do the job. Idiots, all of them. As he stepped out of the alley, he immediately spotted the scene going on just a few feet in front of him. He took a second to take everything in and realized three of the demons were already down. By the looks of it, it was at the hands of gold bullets which could only mean one thing. The human being tortured wasnā€™t a simple human, but a hunter. Jakub recognized the looks on the other demon's faces. It was the same look he got when he craved to kill. Jakub stepped closer without making a sound and looked over the hunter to analyze the damage. It didnā€™t take him long to realize the hunter was the same cute face he had seen earlier. Jakub rolled his eyes at the demonsā€™ brutality and stepped in between them and the hunter just before they could strike again. ā€Go homeā€ the blue eyed demon said simply, letting go of the other demonā€™s hand. The two looked at Jakub with initial shock, as if they couldnā€™t believe he was there. ā€W-what are you doing here?ā€ one of them stammered while the otherā€™s face eased into a glare. ā€keeping you from making a stupid mistakeā€ Jakub replied, to which the others didnā€™t seem to like very much. ā€Youā€™re one to talkā€ one of them spat while the other remained silent. They didnā€™t seem to have any intentions of backing down and the hunter seemed to be in a good deal of pain. It was looking like Jakub would have to do what he had been trying to avoid; fight.

Eliana managed to ignore the loud music and focus long enough to watch Timothy signed about how school had been keeping him busy. Elie rolled her eyes with a slight smile. ā€I donā€™t know how you and Eli can focus on school so muchā€ she signed. She had never been very studious. She was only going to college because Izzy had given her a lecture about how important it was to have a good degree and a good job. Demon hunting didnā€™t exactly pay much. It was extremely difficult to balance that and school most of the time though, and Elie loved hunting so she often pushed school aside. Eli however, spent the majority of his free time reading or doing school work and somehow still had time to do his demon hunting activities. How he managed to do so was beyond Elieā€™s comprehension. She looked back up at Tim to see him suggesting that they step outside to talk. Elie immediately liked the idea, but they were at a party and she didn't want to take that away from him. She hesitated a bit before answering. ā€I would love to talk but youā€™ll miss the partyā€ she paused for a moment to look around before continuing. ā€Iā€™m not as interestingā€ she smiled softly as she signed this. She always loved talking to Tim, but she didnā€™t know if he felt the same. He had come for the party, not for her.

Verena ran her fingers through her hair when Mathias got up to go and shower. When the door shut, she laid back down on the bed. Although she had told her boyfriend she would be laying here when he got back, she wanted to make him dinner. She doesn't think that the pack fed him anything but alcohol. And even if he had eaten, it would have been completely digested. Wolves at a lot so whatever she made would be devoured whether he ate or not. Glancing over at the bathroom door, she decided to make him food. The demon got up and left the bedroom, not bothering to cover up her undergarments. She dug around in the fridge and saw some raw meat. She was going to fry that. Turning on the oven, she poured oil into a frying pan and waited for it to heat up. Going back to the refrigerator, she pulled out some vegetables and heat up macaroni and cheese. Though she could make the mac and cheese from scratch, she wouldn't have time with her boyfriend only in the shower for a couple more moments. Pulling off the side cover, she put the cheesy delicacy in the oven to heat up. The vegetables she dumped into a bowl and threw in the microwave. When the oil was heated up, she put the raw chicken into the frying pan. That was when she heard the shower go off. Her boyfriend was done and dinner wasn't ready. Before she could hear him call out to her, she called out to him. "I'm making you dinner!".

Despite Elias' condition he was way more concerned about what Eliana was going to think when she saw him. She had told him to be careful. He agreed and here was in a clearly not careful situation. He practically lied to his twin about being careful. ā€Go homeā€ The hunter recognized that voice. It was the voice of the demon from early. The one with blue eyes. Eli was wondering what he was doing here. And then he wondered why he was coming to save him. Nothing made sense at the moment, but Eli knew one thing. The dangerous demons were distracted. The hunter reached for his gun, biting his lip to keep from screaming out in pain, and turned to face the three demons. Holding out the weapon he shot one, barely missing the blue eyed demon. Elias figured that demon would say something about nearly being killed, but it didn't matter to him. The other demon hissed and extended its claws. Eli pulled the trigger again and nothing happened. He was out of bullets and two demons were close by. This couldn't end well.

Timothy silently laughed at Elie's comment on his academic focus. Tim was just trying to keep himself from getting kicked out and having to live as a death man without a degree. Eli was a special kind of creature. Always reading. Always learning. Never one complaint about school. Timothy has no idea how that is possible. But his twin was the opposite so the split makes sense. Eliana complained about the work and couldn't focus in class. Tim notices when she goes off into some kind of daydream. It's rather adorable. Then Elie signed that she would like to talk to him, but he would take her away from the party. Then she signed that she wasn't interesting. Timothy thought that was nonsense. He enjoyed communicating with Elie in school and out of school. Besides Timothy gets invited to all kinds of parties. There was no need to complain about one. Eliana. You are the only person in this party that came up to me. I think you deserve some one on one time./ Timothy signed with a smile. And I like talking to you. We don't talk often enough. He added, gesturing towards the back exit to continued the conversation.

As soon as Mathias stepped out of the bathroom he smelled food. He smiled softly and was about to speak up but Verena beat him to it. So she was cooking after all. His stomach grumbled at the thought alone. Went to his closet and finished drying then skipped on a pair of sweatpants and nothing more. He didn't feel like getting dressed, but he couldn't just walk around butt naked. Well, he could hut that might be dangerous. And it wasn't his style to do that. He made his way into the kitchen and walked in with a smile. Aside from a nice meal he had a nice view. "Smell good" he smiled, his voice still a bit raspy from having just woken up. He sat on the counter across the stove and watched quietly as Verena continued to cook.

Jakub wasn't planning on killing anything or anyone, not even demons, nor did he expect to be almost hit by a bullet. He turned around to look at the hunter who had just fired the gun hut it was obvious he was in pain. Judging by how close Jake was to him, he assumed the hunter had actually meant to hit the other demon. If he had wanted to hit Jakub he would have, no matter how horrible his aim. The man tried shooting again but he appeared to be running on empty. If Jakub were any it her demon, the poor hunter would be dead meat. Luckily Jakub wasn't just any demon. As the other came charging toward Jake and the hunter, Jakub's nails quickly transformed into claws that pierced through the incoming demon's chest. They didn't go in that deeply, in fact to anyone else that strike would have looked unexffecrive. That was the beauty of Jake's ability. The blue eyed demon waited patiently as the other smirked, seemingly fooled into thinking he was alright. It didn't last long. Within a couple of second he began to claw at his own skin and threw himself on the floor, as if he were on fire. Jakub watched with a straight face as the demon struggled to stay alive but quickly turned into dust and dissapeared. He waited a moment before turning to the hunter. Either he wants that enjured or he was attempting to play it off. Jakub decided to find out. He held out a hand for the man as if he didn't think he was hurt and waited to see his reaction.

Eliana half thought Timothy would choose to stay inside but he didn't. He insisted they go outside to talk. Eventually Eliana gave up and put her hands up in defeat to show him. "Okay, okay" she signed with a smile. After Tim got ro his feet Eliana followed him out into the back porch. It was nice and quiet and didn't seem like anyone wanted to come out and join them. That was more than okay with her. She didn't exactly feel like dealing with people tonight. It was different with Timothy though, he was much easier to handle. Eliana didn't understand it, but she felt relaxed when she was around him, yet nervous at the same time. It was the oddest feeling. "This is much better" she signed as they took a seat in the cushioned porch swing. It felt nice out and despite all the lights you could see a couple of stars. She looked up at the sky, hoping wherever he was, that her brother was safe.

Verena pulled the macaroni and cheese out of the over and left it on the far side of the stovetop to cool off a bit. She took the vegetables out of the microwave and seasoned them. "Smell good" The demon looked over at her shirtless boyfriend and smiled a tad. How they both enjoyed walking on a dangerous line. At she knows what she wants for dessert. "Thank you." she said, gong back to her cooking. Mathias stayed quiet which was good. It allowed her to focus on the chicken. Using tongs, she pulled one out to make sure both sides were evenly fried. They were. Dinner was ready. Turning off the oven and the stove, she reached up and grabbed plates for them. First she piled the wolf's plate with chicken, mac and cheese, and vegetables. Walking over to where he was sitting on the counter top she handed it to him. "I made enough for seconds whenever you want it." She said, going back to put food on her plate. She didn't get as much food as she gave Mathias, but it was still a lot for her. Not bothering to sit at the table, she leaned against the counter and started eating. She was balancing the plate with her right hand and forking food into her mouth with her left.

For a brief moment the thought of death crossed his mind. Two unharmed demons. One injured hunter. No bullets. The odds were against him and there wasn't much he could do about that. Although he did try to crawl away, he gave up due to the pain. He wasn't getting away so easily. That was when the blue eyed demon attacked his own. Stabbing it in the chest. For a moment it seemed that the blue eyed demon hadn't done anything, but the other demon dropped to the ground. Screaming in agony as it was scrambling to stay alive. It was a sight to see, but Elias was in too much pain to be amazed by his savior. Not when his savior was still a demon. The blue eyed demon turned and faced the emotionless hunter. Elias just looked up at him waiting for him to do something. He wasn't expecting the demon to reach his hand out for him. Eli stared at his hand for a moment before attempting to take it. When he tried to pull himself up, he winced in pain and just sat back down. Elias was not moving. At least not on his own. He had half a mind to call Elie, but then he changed his mind.

Image

Finally Eliana caved and followed him outside to the back. It was much more peaceful out here than it was when they were in the party. He ran his fingers through his hair and brought his attention back to Eli to make sure he wasn't missing anything she was signing. She commented on how nice it was on the deck and he just nodded. Timothy still felt some vibrations from the music being played inside, so he wasn't missing much. He was glad that his friend was feeling better about being out here than with the crowds of people. Times like these make me miss home. He signed a bit faster than he had meant too. Tim wasn't even sure that Elie had been paying attention. Back home he got to see way more stars and he was surrounded by people that also knew how to sign. It was just something he doesn't get here. Well except when he was with a translator or with Elie. They always signed with him. We should go hiking one day to look for more stars he suggested randomly.

Verena wasn't one to brag or toot her own horn, but her cooking was amazing. Even if two thirds of the things on her plate was just heat up. It was like she had some special flavoring added to the meals just by touching it. She took a bite of the macaroni and cheese when her boyfriend suggested she sat next to him. Claiming that he was lonely. The demon giggled and pushed off the counter, making her way over to him. Verena plopped down right next to him and then took another bite of her food. "Better?" she asked teasingly. The closer she was to her boyfriend the more she wanted to touch him and disregard the meal. It was a miracle the two had even managed to be good for this long. Vera was thinking that she should have put on some clothes. Or at least a shirt. But she actually enjoys walking around like this. Even when Jakub is around, she is half dressed. It's the most comfortable way to lounge.

Image

Elias was expecting the blue eyed demon to leave him to deal with his wounds. The hunter had a plan for when he left. Call anyone but Elie. That ways she wouldn't rant at him about not being careful. There was a way Elias could have gotten out of this situation and leave his twin in the dark. What he wasn't prepared for was the blue eyed demon offering his assistance. He crouched down and told the hunter to climb on. The hunter raised an eyebrow. A piggyback ride. The demon was going to give him a piggy back into the unknown where he would most likely be unable to reach back up. The demon sounded genuine and he did save his life. If Elias wasn't out of bullets he wouldn't have hesitated as much as he was at this current moment. Letting out a sigh, he shifted slowly onto the demon's back. His head dropped on the blue eyed demons shoulder and he kept quiet. Neither thanking him or complaining about this situation. Silence. It was what he was best at. Wherever the blue eyed demon was taking him it couldn't have been worse than being left until back up showed up.

Image

Timothy let out another silent laugh. He could imagine Elie having a hard time becoming one with nature and it was making him laugh. He tried not to laugh so hard though. The girl was still his friend and it was rude to laugh at such misfortune. She did agree to attend him on the hike which forced him to smile. That was really sweet. There was some silence before Eliana signed once more asking where home was. Timothy has only ever known Eliana from when he got to New York. He only came up here for school. Full Ride. It was the best option. A town in the middle of Tennessee Timothy spelled out the state name instead of using the sign short hand for it. Elie still wasn't a sign expert. It was always quiet. And the stars were always full and bright Timothy added, reminiscing a little. He wasn't home sick. He loved New York and all the craziness that came with it. He just missed the stars and his family. I want to visit during the next break.

Elias was unsure how he felt about his current situation. Especially because his current situation involved a very handsome blue eyed demon. He was being lured into the unknown without letting Eliana or Isabelle know. This was dangerous, but Eli didn't say anything. As usual. "Well you don't have to say everything all at once now, take your time" The hunter decided to ignore that comment. No point to saying anything when there was nothing to say. He was starting to get a bit tired. It could have been from the blood loss. He had no idea. All he knows is that he is bleeding a lot and that he was getting sleepy. Somewhere in his mind it was screaming that it was dangerous to fall asleep while bleeding out, but the rest of his mind was too exhausted to care. Finally they got to some building. Glancing around a bit, it looked like an apartment. Elias believed that this was the blue eyed demon's apartment. The hunter was on the couch and winced slightly. The demon was being gentle, but he just hurt everywhere. "Do you mind stripping a little for me?" In any other situation this would have seemed weird. But to get to the wounds, Elias would have to take off his shirt. His eyes roamed the demon with suspicion before pulling off his shirt. He screamed softly at the movement before just throwing the shirt to the side.

Image

Timothy couldn't believe Eliana has never been outside of New York. There was so much to see and so much to do. Trying to explain it all would just confuse her. Then she confused him with the next line she signed. It seemed like she was trapped here which is very unfortunate. He was unsure of what to say next, needing a moment to think about what should be added to the conversation. Well I recommend getting out of here when you can. I mean you can always come back, but it's nice to travel around. Timothy signed, smiling in a kind of reassuring way. Maybe you can come home with me! He signed that faster than due to the minor excitement he got bringing a friend home to his family. Timothy rarely brings anyone back home. That way you can see what I mean when you see the stars.

Jakub hadnā€™t had a chance to see just how bad the hunterā€™s wounds were, so when the man cried out in pain just from taken off his shirt Jakeā€™s eyes widened a bit. He quickly gathered everything he needed, including some stuff to clean off the blonde once the wounds were a bit healed and hurried over to the hunter. It only took him a second to notice the amount of scratches and cuts running up and down the manā€™s chest and back. ā€Oh shitā€ he muttered as he sat the items down on the small coffee table. Jakubā€™s damage had always been internally, so he had never truly seen what serious wounds looked like. He immediately decided he didnā€™t like it. First step was to have him drink the tea and close up the wounds fast. If he didnā€™t the hunter might just bleed out. Jake took the small cup of purple liquid in his hands and held it up to the manā€™s mouth to save him the trouble of moving his arms. ā€Hurry and drink as much as you can. The more you drink the faster itā€™ll workā€ Jake explained quickly but calmly. If all went well, the tea would start working immediately and have the wounds closed up within minutes.

Eliana watched Tim with a bit of amazement. Talking about traveling and his home made him so excited. He suggested she get out of New York and explore and he smiled softly. If only it were that easy. His next suggestion caught her a bit off guard. He wanted her to go to his home town? That was a bit surprising. Timothy didnā€™t seem like the type to just invite anyone to go traveling with him, but the thought of leaving New York, even if just for a few days, was very appealing. The thought of seeing Timā€™s home was even more appealing for some reason. Sheā€™d have to talk to Eli about this. ā€That would be amazingā€ she signed a little faster than usual. She hesitated before adding the next line. ā€I would feel bad leaving Eli behind thoughā€. Eliana would never go traveling without her brother. He deserved a break from it all just as much as she did.

Elias was going to sleep. It was official he was too tired to comprehend anything that was going around him. Though he knew how bad his wounds were by demon's curse word. But he couldn't even make an expression of concern. But his face read exhaustion and blood loss. Then a drink was being shoved in his face. Something about the faster he drank the faster it would work. Many questions flooded his head giving him an instant headache and regret. There should be no thinking at a time like this. Eli knew that there was some hunter rule about what was going on right now, but he truly did not care. At least at this current moment he didn't. Eli brought the drink to his lips and chugged the whole thing. He gagged slightly. "Disgusting" That was the second thing the hunter has said to the handsome demon all night long. Despite the complaint, Elias could feel that drink working its magic. Slowly the pain was leaving him, but his exhaustion remained. He slowly laid down and closed his eyes, not caring that he was in the blue eyed demon apartment with no back up. He needed sleep and he was going to nap right here.

Image

Timothy thought that Eliana would enjoy getting out of New York. There was so much more to see and enjoy that the bustling city life. The quietness of the suburbs and the stillness of the country were beautiful things. He hopes that whatever was keeping Elie here would eventually allow her to go and see the world at least once. That is what Tim wants to do once he graduates. Then she mentioned brother. I assumed you two were like a package. He could come too. I like him too. Nice quiet company. He signed with a smile. Timothy and Eli never talk to each other, but they understand each other. It was strange in a good way.

Jakub had been worried about possibly having to force the hunter to drink the tea. Much to his surprise, he drank it all without any kind of hesitation. ā€Disgustingā€ was al he got in response. Jakub was more than a bit surprised to hear his voice. He hadnā€™t heard a single syllable out of him since Jake had caught him following. The demon couldnā€™t help but wonder why he didnā€™t talk when he had such a nice tone to his voice. ā€I know. Witches donā€™t know how to do anything rightā€ he half joked as he set the cup back down on the coffee table. He turned back to the man not two seconds later and he had already settled down into the couch. It seemed the tea was already work. Jakub attempted to see the wounds through all the blood but it was extremely difficult. Once he made sure the vulnerable hunter was relaxed he gently ran a hand along one of the wounds. It was almost completely closed already. A relieved sighed escaped the demon as he wiped off his hand. The worst part was now over with. After waiting a few minutes to make sure they were fully closed, Jakub took the small rags he had brought and began cleaning them off.

Image

Eliana laughed at the way Timothy referred to her and Eli as a ā€œpackaged dealā€, though it was true. Eliana would never leave Eli behind and vice versa. Timothy referred to her brother as nice and quiet company and she giggled a little, glad that hle couldnā€™t hear it. ā€Thatā€™s probably why you two get along so wellā€ Eliana joked. She had attempted to teach Eli sign language at one point so he could communicate without having to talk. After just a couple of lessons he gave them up, saying he would rather stay silent. Not that it bothered Eli. she would just have to do all the talking. ā€Speaking of, let me call him one secondā€. she quickly signed before pulling out her cell phone. She hit the dial for Elias and waited. No reply. She sighed and hung up before returning to Tim. Whatever the reason for his not answering, it worried her a bit.
