Compassionate and generally friendly, Feran is sometimes prone to impatience. Yet despite this, he very rarely angers and presents a very collected exterior.
Simple, cloth clothing is Feran's choice, along with a couple of satchels in which he stores assorted objects.
His weapons are a Bow and Arrow and a dagger made from the tooth of his closest friend, a very aged dragon who died after being attacked by a group of Trolls.
Feran's magical powers are entirely based around nature, being able to encourage plant growth and restore plants to health. With a greater effort, he can manipulate plants into assisting him in battle - though this is usually a last resort. He can also draw water from the ground.
Feran was born not long after the great Dragon War, in the same elven village where Anya resided.
Growing up, he had been a quiet boy, keeping out of trouble and painfully shy. His mother was bed-ridden for the entirety of his young life, terminally ill and unable to work. His father had disappeared only weeks before he was born - never to be heard from again.
His mother died when he was just 29, leaving him alone in the world. It was then that he left the village and began a life of solitude in the woods, returning occasionally at first to visit the Inn and a few acquaintances, but his visits soon became fewer and far between.
He has now decided to return to visit the inn for the first time in over 100 years. Whispers of dark forces at work in the elven community and the wider world have reached him, animals in the forest have become suddenly more skittish an ominous feeling now resides in the forest.
He now wonders if perhaps Anya, or another patron of the Inn, has any news they could share.
