"Follow me you two," the principal had enough. Alondel sighed as the two girls were haled off and removed his backpack from his shoulders and reached in side. His hand came back with a pouch of ashes. He drew a circle with a star into the palm of his hand and held it out in front of him. "Horned God of Vengence, guide the lord of the Winds of the North and deliver my vendetta," he invoked, blowing the ashed from his hand in Bianca's direction as the group walked away. Almost as if on cue, a kid stooped to take a drink from the water fountain. The water shot further than he thought and squirted the prep in the face as she walked by. Alondel chuckled and turned to return to class.
The rest of the day went by fairly uneventful and as the day came to a close he decided he'd stop by the library anyways and pick up some books. Alondel entered the school library a few minutes after the last bell rang and looked around for gothic section of information books. The school library was fairly large. Once again the school's supply of money was evident. The library was lined with bookcase after bookcase and seemed to have any book he could ever search for. The only problem was actually finding the right book in the sea of informational literature. Alondel turned from one aisle and into another and found Sophia organizing books.
"So this was the principal's detention arrangement today. Harsh," Alondel said.

"So what was it that you wanted to say to me earlier?" Soffia remembered that he was about to ask her something earlier.
She looked at Alondel when he was about to open his mouth when Ryan suddenly jumped out of nowhere, "BOO!"
Her hands were both in the air as her over sized shirt shook.
"Ssshhhhhh!" Mr. Nordston, the librarian, warned them.
"Sorry..." She and Ryan said at the same time and tried to supress their giggles.

"Well, I meant to but with everything that happened at lunch it totally escaped my mind," She looked at Ryan apolegitically.
"We're hearing you witch boy," Ryan glared at Alondel.
"Hey don't be mean," Sophia demanded then continued. "Anyway, yeah it's this letter." She pulled something from her purse and gently laid it on a piece of paper.
All of them tried to decipher the ripped letter.
"Wait, what do you mean someone's following me around?" She suddenly remembered the first part of his sentence.
"He said it's a spirit so basically it's considered a something not someone," Ryan adjusted her eyeglasses as she corrected the brunette.
"Whatever," Sophie said with an annoyed tone then faced Alondel. "A spirit? You see them?"
"My machine detects them," Ryan said out too loudly.
"Shhhhhh... second warning you three," The librarian called their attention. Good thing there are no students around just yet.
Sophia pulled Ryan and Alondel further back to the partly hidden side of the huge library for more privacy.
"We saw one last night," Sophia admitted when they were settled.
Then she noticed that Ryan was staring at something absent mindedly. "Hey, are you even with us?" Sophia waved her hand in front of Ryan's vision to see if her friend understood.
"I think I know who we saw last night," Almost whispering but Ryan never looked at them.
"Who?"
Ryan then pointed at something. They followed to where she pointed and saw a huge painting of a man with a cat. He looked exactly like the spirit they saw.
"Dalton..." Ryan trailed.
"Bay." Sophie finished for her.
Both of the girl's then looked at Alondel to see his reaction.

Alondel turned to Ryan,"Just so you know, I'm not a Witch. Witches are female. The proper term for me is Sorcerer," he informed. "You seem pretty knowledgeable in the realm of spirits. You said your machine detects them? Do you have an EMF detector?"

"That's beside the point. I don't think he's a violent kind. He could have attacked me several times when I was alone. I just can't-" Sophia tried to defend Dalton Bay's spirit.
"Sophie, what are you trying to do? We can't be too sure. Mister Wizard here might be right? Oops, Sorcerer I mean" She smiled playfully at Alondel after interrupting Sophia's words.
"I know I'm right. I would have felt a disturbing aura and energy if he was. I've got to tell you guys something as well." Sophia bowed and looked at her feet as if ashamed to tell her abilities.
"Huh?" Ryan leaned closer and paid more attention. Just then Sophia touched her hand and closed her eyes. For a minute she looked like she's in pain and quickly let go of her hand.
"You... sleep with your mother's pillow. And you accidentally set your doll house on fire when you were 7," Sophia spilled after opening her eyes and giggled.
"Hey! How... You... No way!" Ryan exclaimed.
"Yup," Without even letting her friend finish, Sophia agreed with what Ryan want to say.
"But-" Ryan was about to say something when she raised her hand to silence her. She grabbed Alondel's hand this time and closed her eyes.
After another minute, Sophia was hesitant whether she would spill Alondel's secret. She decided to pull him on a side and whispered to his ear, "Well, I'm sorry you've been bullied and locked up in a closet for a couple of days without your parents knowing that you were gone for two days. They were busy when that happened. I..." Sophia wanted to continue but controlled herself.

"Glad I'm not the only freak around here," Alondel laughed jokingly. "I can do some cool stuff too. I'm not just some two bit magician. My magic is real. Remember when you were walking to the principal's office and Bianca had a run of bad luck with the water fountain? That was kinda me."

Ryan raised her hand waiting for Alondel to give her a high five.
"Now that's more like it." She giggled.
"Wait. What if the black shadow was another spirit?" Sophia suddenly suggested.
"What do you mean?" Ryan asked.
"That time I was to get my dress from the mail room. I felt something different," She realized.

"Excuse me. Don't you think that's a bit rude to take our pictures without our permission?" She slammed both of her arms on the table across the guy.
"Yeah," Ryan second the motion with her hands on her hips. The two had followed her lead on confronting the guy who obviously was eaves dropping on their conversation.

Cathy shook her head, waking herself up slightly. She was sat on a bench just outside of the building with her clique.
"This one, unfortunately." She said, looking over at Lucretia.
"Hmm." Her friend raised her eyebrow. "You've been drifting from reality ever since last night... I'm starting to wonder if that witch hexed you..."
"Oh will you give it a rest!" Cathy snapped. "What the hell is your problem?"
"You're the one with the problem Cathy." Tobias responded, staring at her. "You never joined us again after you and him wandered off at the ball and you've been distant with us all day. It's like you've become... one of the light dwellers."
"What?"
"We didn't mean it like that sister." Lucretia said quickly, glaring at Tobias. "It's just that you seem to have lost touch with the dark path but..."
"You know what, forget it." She said, standing up and beginning to walk away. "I'd rather be a light dweller than put up with this rubbish."
They didn't follow her as she started walking around the school grounds which was a good thing, she needed to be alone.
The teachers had made her and Alondel go back inside before they could talk anymore the night before and to be honest, things hadn't been the same with her clique. She found she'd been spacing out all day, both the teachers and her friends had been annoyed with her. The goths still didn't like Alondel and she was getting bored and irritated with them. Although she still didn't want to join the light dwellers, she prefered Alondel's company.
She sighed and started randomly taking pictures around the school, as always her camera was hanging around her neck. She'd took about five shots before she started looking at the pictures.
"Oh my god..."
In nearly every shot, she'd managed to capture the shape of a man in the background but when she looked around, no one was there. And the man was... blurred. Like the window on the first day.
Come to think of this, this had been happening alot over the holidays. She took pictures of gothic scenes anyway but lately there were a few shots where there seemed to be a blurred figure or animal in the background. Why hadn't she thought about it before? What could it mean?
There was only one person she could think of who could explain something like that.
Making her way back into school, she started walking around to try and find Alondel. It took longer than she expected but after asking around a bit she headed over to the library, a couple of people had seen him going there. She was surprised when she saw him with Sophia and the other girl she'd been with, even more so when she saw the guy talking to them, she couldn't remember his name.
"Hey." She said, walking over. "Excuse me for interrupting but Alondel, can I talk to you a moment?" She asked him directly, practically ignoring the others. Her expression was serious, she didn't know what the blurs meant but she felt sure they weren't natural.
((OOC: Hey, sorry I've taken so long. I wasn't actually missing, as I told Vain I was seriously struggling to think of what to post so I've done my best to try and make up for all the time I've missed.))

"So, what did you want to talk about?" He asked, taking a seat at the table.

Taking the photos out of her pocket and laying them out on the table before Alondel, she looked up at him.
"I figured you might be able to explain this better than I could." She said, pointing at the blurry figure in the background. "I've only really noticed the connection now but this has been happening ever since the start of the holidays. Certain people, animals and even objects have been coming up blurry on my photographs. At first I thought it was just a technical problem but it's never in the same place and the rest of the picture is always clear. Look at this," She said, showing the pictures she'd just taken outside the school. "This figure is moving along, he's walking across the front of the school as I'm taking pictures and the blur is following him. It may just be me overreacting but this doesn't seem natural to me. I was hoping you could shed some light on the situation."

"Excuse me?" Sophia faked an offended tone trying to mock the guy.
Just then the a goth looking girl approached them and asked if he could talk to Alondel in private. She smiled and nodded when he excused his self.. Looks like her new friend got some killer moves on the black loving girl.
"Mister who ever you are, eavesdropping isn't really nice. Besides the library is reserved for students on detention only" Sophia bluffed and pulled Ryan away and went to choose a farther seat from the rude guy.

"Now that is weird," Ryan spoke too loudly when they heard the new guy spoke to someone invisible.
"Oh shoot! He may know something," Sophia quickly stood up and ran towards the new guy.
"Wait... wait... I'm really sorry about what I- I mean what we said earlier. I know its harsh and-" She sucked in a deep breath and decided to go straight to the point. "All I'm saying is do you know anything? Can you see and hear other things?"
She stared at him and hoped he would forgive them and say yes.

"I can umm.......see and speak with Spirits, i guess it's what you call them." Justin spoke softly, looking down at the table. He wasn't sure how they would take it, whether they accepted him for the way he was, or think he was completely crazy and would send rumors around school about him. He also hated speaking of his abilities, since everyone always thought he was crazy and he'd get into fights at school over it. Those were some of the reasons why he was here at this school, he's been kicked out of 4 schools already.
