APPEARANCE:
Jess is what people often think of when they think of things being pretty. She has the sharp feminine edges that once confused people into thinking she was a daughter of Aphrodite. Jess has a rosy, golden appearance where she doesn't need blush or lipstick. She has long black eyelashes and rarely has any blemishes due to her being so self conscious of such imperfections. Jess doesn't wear makeup except for performances though people often can't tell, believing she is always wearing makeup. Her eyes are almond shaped with the ends tinting up slightly indicating she used to smile often. Her figure is strong and sturdy, muscle obvious but not necessarily chiseled. She has a lean, willowy body type. She has a chest on the smaller side but doesn't mind. It's very clear she works out and works out a lot.

PERSONALITY:
{Passionate || Hardworking || Courageous || Introverted Extrovert || Heartbroken}

Jess is a passionate individual who loves something with all of her heart. She does not do anything without her whole heart regardless of whether or not she may or may not like it. She will suck it up and do it as if she loves it if she finds it necessary to make those around her happy. She will only do things that she wants to do regardless of the pressure put on her. She is a levelheaded and solid individual who has a clear moral sense of right and wrong. Jess is hardworking and trains for whatever she has set her heart to as much as she can as often as she can. She is wonderful at prioritizing and knows exactly how to make the best of situations and or days. She knows how to help people even if she doesn't always trust them.

Jessamine is a courageous individual who is not deferred by danger or fear. She's brave but not stupidly so and knows the right risks to take without letting the risk apply to other people. She is considerate and sees the little details in people and their surroundings and knows exactly the little things that make people happy or sad. Jessamine is an extrovert for the most part, she loves talking to people and interacting with others and loves to have as many friends as possible. However, due to her incident at the Olympics, she doesn't trust as many people and therefore has become an introverted extrovert. Inwardly she is an extrovert but outwardly she is an introvert to protect herself and those she cares about from the same pain they've already been forced to face.

Jessamine has a hard time appearing like she cares about things though it is merely a facade. She is heartbroken from loosing everything and doesn't want to have others think she cares about things as she fears it would lead them to only try to hurt her like her previous friends did.

FAMILY::
Hermes || Biological Father || Immortal
Kaitlin Galvord || Biological Mother || Deceased
Geoffrey Belrosse || Adoptive Father || Deceased
Paige Belrosse || Adoptive Mother || Alive

RELATIONSHIP WITH GODLY PARENT:
Jessamine doesn't know that Hermes is her father. She is close friends with her father, under the impression he is her biological big brother who found her because he wanted to meet his little sister. He lied to her in order to be close to her since he thought something was going on when she went to the Olympics. Jessamine calls him for help and advice and he often gives it in a strange, big brother way. She cares for him very deeply as a big brother and looks up to him like a father since she never had one, but doesn't have any idea that he is Hermes himself.

BIOGRAPHY:
Jessamine's mother did not want her from the start. She was given up for adoption when she was days old and was adopted only a month later. She was raised by her adoptive mother and father until her father died when she was two. She doesn't remember him. Her mother allowed Jessamine to take gymnastics and ballet in their small town in the north of France. Jessamine trained extremely hard being homeschooled and adopted by a rich woman. She trained more than forty hours a week and did little else. When she was five she also began ice skating.

Jessamine became a regional title winner in figure skating when she was eleven and a national title holder when she was thirteen. She was unlike anyone had ever seen before and was even nationally known. Jessamine tried out and made the French Olympic Team and travelled with them around the world. When she was sixteen she won her first medal. She got a gold in women's solo. Jessamine discovered that the girl who got silver had cheated by bribing one of the judges to get silver instead of bronze. When Jessamine discovered this, she was going to tell the Olympic committee though the girl, the French girl who had always pretended to be friends with Jessamine threatened to hurt her and her best friend, the guy who was skating for the mens solo.

Jessamine didn't tell but the girl claimed that Jessamine had cheated and had the judge she herself had bribed state that he had been bribed by a female skater on the French team which was enough to have Jessamine's medal confiscated and her title removed. Jessamine's mother was furious and hurt and though she took care of Jessamine still, she rarely talked to her, instead treating her like a shadow. Jessamine, heart broken, fully immersed herself in training and managed to graduate high school early. She was about to go to college to get away from her past when she was recruited to go to the Demigod academy. She agreed having known all her life her father was Hermes as he constantly kept in contact with her through letters. However, her "biological brother" also interacted with her often, even helping her train on occasion to better herself in speed and strength.

One morning, a few months before she was to leave for the academy, a package arrived for Jessamine and within, along with a note, was the gold medal that had been confiscated from her with a note stating I know you deserved it, that you are the best. ~ Big Brother.

Jessamine's name was cleared though not until after a lot of drama and horrible things being said about her. Everyone who had once been her friend, and had turned on her, was again pretending to be her friend. Her mother never truly got over it and Jessamine still isn't sure who she can trust considering she had so many people turn on her at the drop of a hat.

MISCELLANEOUS:
Faceclaim || Hayden Pantaierre
Accent || Somewhat thick French but has easily understandable English though she very rarely can't remember some words. This is mostly due to stress and a lot of pressure or nerves, other than that her English is impeccable.

Blood On My Name
Image
The tower stands as tall as any man made construct, it looms over the island of Aeaea, keeping a watchful eye over the island, and standing as a reminder of the Gods presence to the Demigods that take residence on it's shores, and within it's walls no mortal, human or otherwise, has stepped foot inside of it. At the top of the tower, in it's highest inner sanctum rests the Chamber of Council, a meeting place for the Gods to discuss the state of affairs, and other topics that they deem worthy of their time.

In the Chamber of Council, on the first day of the fall semester for the academy, and the day where most of it's students are returning from summer break, on this day Zeus has called forth a meeting. The inside of the chamber is a large, open clear sky with no sighs of a door, or any sighs that it is in fact a room. "I have gathered you all here today to discuss a disturbing vision Apollo has had. Apollo if you will." Zeus stated, his voice being thunderous, and commanding, as one would expect the king of the Gods to sound.

"Right, thank you for such a stellar introduction." Apollo smirked, but was responded by an annoyed groan by Zeus before he returned to the topic at hand. "Well lads, and lasses, I've recently had a vision that I feel like I should share with the group. You know, as the humans say sharing is caring." "Get to the point idiota!" Ares snarled at him, which was followed by a chuckle by Hermes. Zeus shoot a quick glare at both of them that caused them to shut right up. "Anyways, my vision is about the academy, and I believe that it will come to pass soon."

"I saw blood, a river of it. An invasion of Minotaurs, and iron birds. The sky shattering to pieces, and the tower here crumbling."
Apollo explained. "What bothers me the most is that it was.....hazy, unclear. It reminded me...." Before Apollo finished his sentence he looked over at Zeus, as if asking him permission to go forward. Zeus gave him a nod to proceed. "It reminds me of the fall of Olympus....it's....as jumbled, and foggy as it was. It was too late when I got my vision about Olympus, I fear it might be too late for Aeaea."

"Minotaurs? That's impossible! They were killed off, me and Artemis made sure of that." Ares stated as he pointed over to Artemis, who merely grunted in agreeance. "And as always Ares you entirely missed the point." Athena chimed in. "This is troublesome. This is obviously related. The question is how. How can these events be related if they are millennia apart?" Athena pondered as she rubbed her chin. "I have been saying it for decades, we need to shore up our defenses! Increase patrols, personal, better weaponry, and equipment!" Ares stated. "If it was up to you dear brother this entire island would become a military compound rather than a place of learning."

"And would that be a bad thing? What are we preparing them for if not to fight in our name?" Artemis chimed in. "War is not something that a civilized people work towards." Athena stated in her ever present cold manner. "Pfft, war is the law of nature. Survival of the fittest, the weak will be rooted out in it's embrace." Ares growled. Before another word could be said shadows suddenly appeared within the center of the room, forming into a doorway that Hades stepped out of.

"Well I hope I didn't miss anything too interesting." Hades said as he took off his red tinted sunglasses, and placed it in his overcoat's pocket. "Nice of you to finally join us brother." Poseidon said in an annoyed tone. "Well you know me little brother, always have to make an entrance." He smirked. "We were discussing a vision I had, about the destruction of the academy, and the island." Apollo stated, bringing him up to speed. "Oh, well that does sound like it may be a problem. Let me know how it turns out for you. I have my own dealings to take care of, the Underworld doesn't run itself you know."

"We must prepare ourselves. Ares, you are correct, we must shore up our defenses. You are also correct Athena, we can not turn this island into a military base, we must not tip off those that work against us that we know something." Zeus ordered as he finally spoke again after taking in everything. "Ares, Hephaestus you two will enhance our defenses, and prepare our security forces for anything that may happen. Artemis, Athena I want you two to help Apollo make sense of his visions. As for the rest of you it shall be business as usual. Keep a watchful eye out for anything that may be out of the ordinary. That is all, you are dismissed."

"Boom! There goes your head!" "No fair, you always know where the rocket launchers spawn! Cheater!" "I'm sorry you suck so bad." This type of talk went on between a young Jensen, and his little brother Nolan as they played a video game. "So where do you want to lose at next? Beaver Creek?" Jensen then looked over at his brother. Nolan was leaning against the wall in the far back, with a large chunk of his shirt burnt off, and a large burn on his chest. Jensen, on instinct, rushed to his brother's side, who was shaking, and gasping for air.

"Nolan!" Jensen shouted as he got over to his brother. He lightly slapped Nolan on his face, and tried shaking him to wake him up. Then Nolan just completely turned into ash. Jensen stood there in shock as the remains of his brother slipped through his fingers. The surroundings then changed around Jensen, now being in a cemetery, and standing over a grave marked with Nolan's name. Jensen looked down, and at the other graves lined up in the row. The names were familiar. Amanda Cartwright, Isaac Herbert, Grayson Foster, Keo Kealoha, Kai Kealoha, and the list goes on. All people he goes to school with.

Jensen stared at the names, especially Amanda's as he began hyperventilating. Panic then began to set in as he stepped away from the graves. Jensen bumped into something, stopping him from moving backwards. He turned around to see it was Zeus towering over him. "It's only a matter of time Jensen. It's only a matter of time before you destroy everything." Zeus said as he pushed Jensen forward. "Like....You....Always....Do." Zeus said as he poked Jensen in the chest with each word. Jensen then fell back into a open grave, seemingly falling for miles.

Jensen's eyes shot open as he awoke in his bed. He ran his hand down his face, and looked over beside him to see Amanda still asleep. Jensen looked over at his clock on his nightstand, it was nearly seven o'clock now. Jensen sat up as slowly as he could, and got out of bed, trying not to wake Amanda up. He knelled down, and pulled out a suitcase underneath his bed, and opened it up, taking out a couple boxes from it. Presents he got for Amanda during his summer break. Though they were all but boyfriend and girlfriend, just not officially. Jensen likes his privacy, and so they're on the down low, though he's pretty sure most, if not all of the students at the know they are seeing each other.

Jensen looked over at Amanda, and let out a sigh. 'What am I doing?' He wondered to himself as he watched her. Jensen laid down next to Amanda, and wrapped his arm around her, and began kissing her below her ear, and down her neck. "Hey, time to get up." He said, trying to give her as pleasant a wake up call as possible. He placed his hand on her chin, and gently pushed her to face him, and then he passionately kissed her on the lips.

"Oh! I didn't have the time to tell you this last night, but I got you a little something over the break. Well a couple of little things." He said as he placed the boxes he took from his suitcase, and placed them on the bed. He opened them up, one contained a first edition Outlander novel, another had four multi color seashells, and then a smaller box that contained seashell necklace. "Didn't know if you had the book or not, I know you like those romance novels so I got it for you. And I know how much you like shells, so....uh there you go. Hope you like them, not much of a gift giver."

Jensen's phone then made a noise, signaling that he got a text message. Jensen leaned over, and grabbed his phone to read the message.

{From: Thomas Elliot}
{Club meeting at the usual spot. Now.}

Jensen sighed as he closed out of his messages.

Isaac's head bobbed up and down as he listened to his music blasting loudly as he worked on a circuit board. He worked on the circuit board with a pair of goggles pushed down on his face to protect his eyes from sparks that would fly off from the circuit. He was in his secret lab where he works on his more sensitive projects. Behind him stood several tall figures each covered with a sheet.

Isaac then heard his phone going off, signaling that he got a text. He sighed as he laid his tools down, and calmly lifted his goggles up to rest on his forehead. Isaac flicked his wrist to bring up his text messages. Though to anyone seeing him, if there was anyone around to see him he'd just look like he was spazing out.

{From: Thomas Elliot}
{Time for a club meeting. Coming to you. The Thunderer will be along shortly.}

Isaac rolled his rolled. The Thunderer, Jensen. Ugh. How he ever got stuck with working with that idiot was beyond him. Though he did have his uses. He was useful as a power source when he needed a lot of energy, and he couldn't very well plug into any old outlet. And Jensen was also rather strong, almost abnormally strong for a Demigod of Zeus. But still, being the only person that he could really work with was rather bothersome.

Jessamine woke early in the morning. Two hours before any classes would begin. She looked around her room. It was rather empty of any personal indications. There were her skates hanging off a part of her desk, her medal was hidden in her suitcase which was tucked under her bed, there was the clothes from traveling the day before on the floor, and a picture of her as a baby with her mother and her father on her desk. Nothing more. She didn't have pictures of friends. Those were all gone since she didn't know if they were real or not. She couldn't skate but having the things that she loved with her made her feel better. Her phone was on the nightstand beside her as were her glasses. She considered wearing contacts and nearly decided not to until she remembered there was running to do and it would't be good to risk her glasses falling off.

Jess stood from her bed, pulling back the covers reluctantly before moving to her dresser and changing into capri jogging pants and a fitted workout shirt that was a rosy pink. She pulled her hair up before moving to her bathroom and slipping her contacts in. She left her glasses on the sink rim before leaving the room to go out the door of the small dormitory apartment she shared with Isabella Black. Looking down the hall for any indication anyone else was up, Jessamine was relieved to see it was empty.

She made her way downstairs and outside easily having done it a few years ago and only recently being back to do it again. Upon emerging into the cool morning air, Jessamine took a deep breath before she began running. She was faster than most kids at the academy considering how great of shape she was in, how strong her legs and lungs were, and that she was a Hermes kid. It all added up, and did so pretty well.

She moved quickly, savoring the slight burn of her lungs taking in the cool air. She moved onto the running path that she knew all too well and followed it without complaint. It was worn down from all the other demigods who ran or were in a class that required them to run. Jessamine found her running shoes were carrying her swiftly as she breezed past another building. She ran past the tower that was so mysterious to the island before going down a slight hill and onto the streets of the small town.

There was the smell of coffee wafting from one shop but Jessamine didn't pause. She didn't drink coffee and she wanted to make it back in time to her dorm to shower before classes began. She ran down the sidewalk on main street, not having to dodge anyone thanks to the early morning hour.

She saw the end of the block coming up but didn't bother to slow down at all. She had never seen anyone else running at this hour when she had been a student a few years ago, who would start since she was gone? She took a sharp turn when she reached the end of the buildings only to encounter something she had not expected. Another person.

Keo and Kai were moving lethargically through their shared dorm apartment. It wasn't all that different from their home. They both had their own bedrooms, there was a kitchen on the same floor, there was a bathroom that they shared, and they both had closets. Neither of them were really very big morning people until they climbed out of bed and had something to eat. Their alarm clocks went off in unison and they moved nearly in unison in their different rooms as they shut it off lazily.

Neither one moved immediately but finally they sat up. Kai took to the bathroom first, moving quickly before switching with his brother who was already dressed from the time it took Kai to prepare in the bathroom. Both brushed their teeth and splashed water on their faces before running their hands through their hair to see if it was tangled enough to brush it. Neither bothered in the end.

They both moved to the kitchen and moved easily, as if they had been training to make breakfast together their entire life, and they had. Kai opened the door as he passed it, propping it open in case anyone wanted to stop by to say hello on the first day back from school. There was a dining hall, but neither twin wanted to brave the early morning lines. Keo poured two cups of coffee, both laden with sugar and cream and made of very little coffee before handing one to his brother who then offered in turn a breakfast that his brother and him were very used to. Microwave made rice and an egg for each. An odd breakfast in most places, but one from home for the twins.

Their apartment was littered with decorations, weapons, textbooks, personal items, and papers. "Dude, you ready?" Kai asked as he shoveled the last of his breakfast down before placing the dishes in the sink and going to prepare both backpacks. Keo shrugged, "As ready as anyone who has to go through one final year of being in a school that has it's ups and downs."

Keo moved to wash his and Kai's dishes without hesitation. Kai paused slightly, looking over at his brother with a slightly confused glance. "So, you mean being a normal kid in high school?" He asked with a knowing and lazy smile. Keo smiled at his brother's words and shrugged as he cleaned the dishes. "Yep, guess so." Keo finished with the dishes as Kai zipped up both of their backpacks. Keo's outfit was one that was common for a first day of school anywhere. Casual but nice. [url=http://fashion.ekstrax.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/Cool-Teen-Fashion-Looks-For-Boys-28.jpg]Kai's wardrobe wasn't that different, however, slightly more casual.

Kai tossed Keo his backpack before grabbing the trident, bow, quiver with arrows, and sword and setting them by the door before leaving the small apartment dorm. Keo locked the door behind them and the two moved down the hall with a much more cheerful and peppy mood. Both ready for the day and not sleep zombies anymore.

ImageDespite the unprofessional aspect and discomfort, Duke left his hand in his little sister's as they walked around the museum Transylvania hosted. This was the fifth time he'd been and all for the same reason. Because she wished it and found it fascinating but nothing had changed. Not a speech or artifact or a demolished one for that matter. Duke would be more than happy to assist in the breaking process if they ever needed. The only thing that changed was how Julie could be measured next to them. She was taller each year and learned the unspoken pattern of his leave. Julie squeezed his hand, that had become something of a subconscious habit. And with that, Duke took his cue glancing to his wrist watch and sighed. "Come on. Time to go." Julie always had a rebuttal or two to share but he cut her off. "You know the drill. I got places to be too."
________________________________________________________________

He stretched out his limbs as the journey to the academy and sleep alike tended to cramp him up and give his muscles an itch to counter; wasted time with activity. He got dressed in a white tank, gray hoodie and sweatpants. Duke started with long and powerful strides trying to work up to the run just as demonstration that he was in charge of his body and mind. But the walk got faster and turned into a jog. Still, his muscles craved more and he was obeying, now running down the streets. His run transformed to a sprint and his destination a blur. All he knew was that he had to keep moving and run as fast he could. Even as he puffed and panted and started to feel a certain burn in his legs and lungs, he could feel his fuel far from dwindling.

He rounded a turn, a little sharper then he expected and crashed right into someone. The impact had caused the little thing to fall, and Duke with her. He had just enough time to cup the back of her head before it met pavement and shot out his free hand to save himself from collapsing on top of her. He looked wide eyed and startled, checking the girl's features. And for a second... only a slither of a second, got caught in her eye color. "You okay?" Duke breathed out finally.

Rather than hover on top of the girl all day, he drew back his hand, bundled in her golden tied hair then climbed to his feet quickly, dusting himself off then offered her his hand. "Sorry." They were words that rarely departed his lips but he had said them with ease to her.

Coming to pay it more attention she looked vaguely familiar. As his chest heaved in and out, he furrowed his brows trying to place where he'd seen her before.

Jessamine didn't have time to stop before she made contact with the larger figure that she could tell was well muscled just by running into it, which was odd, and something she had never even thought she would be able to do. There was no way her small frame could stay upright as she fell backward, letting out a small gasp instead of a shrill scream. She caught sight of short brown hair and brown eyes before the blue sky, and the brown hair and eyes all over again. She put her arms down to catch herself but just barely got her hands down and still not fast enough as she scraped her elbows and landed hard on her butt and lower back.

She was surprised when there was no impact of her head having fallen more than once on ice and more than once hitting her head on such occasions. She looked at the guy who was above her, a few inches from her face. Her breathe came in controlled breathes that indicated that she had been running for a while, but hadn't reached her limit. She didn't know what to say. She figured it was both their faults though he had easily made up for it by keeping her from another concussion.

"Yeah, you?" She asked softly, her breathes beginning to even out as if she hadn't been running. She was surprised when he moved his hand away from her head having forgotten it was there. She sat up and accepted his hand with an apologetic smile though he beat her to the apology. "No problem, it was my fault too," Jess managed as she looked up at the guy. She quickly realized she was still holding his hand and let go casually, as if it was normal that she interact with others by running into them and holding their hand after they helped her up.

"My name's Jessamine, it's nice to meet you," She stated simply as she put her hands on her hips in a casual position she often did. She couldn't help but be caught up in his face. She had met plenty of attractive guys, guys from around the world that she couldn't understand, that were extremely strong and talented and amazing, but this guy, he was different, and she didn't know exactly why, but he was. Maybe it was that he was a demigod and not a bad one either.

She looked at him and tried to figure out his parent. She knew all the children of Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. This guy was not them. He could be an Aphrodite daughter though they didn't work out like this guy appeared to work out, he wasn't her half brother, and he didn't appear to be an Apollo son who Jessamine always thought of as preppy, like she used to pretend to be.

He looked like a son of Ares or Hephaestus based on his very toned arm muscles which Jessamine managed to avoid staring at or even letting it be known she looked at them at all. Suddenly she felt self conscious and didn't know why and hated it. She had ran into the guy, why was she being self conscious. She shook herself off mentally before smiling back up at him again. "I'm sorry, again. See you around," She stated before giving a little wave of her fingers and starting at a jog before proceeding to a run again in the direction she had been going.

She finished her run by heading back to her dorm room and going to the bathroom to shower. She washed her hair and dried it slightly before putting it up into a messy bun and walking out of her bathroom and back into her room. She put on a simple outfit that was comfortable. She even bothered to put on a little blush and bronze pink shade of lipstick. It made her feel better.

Jessamine left the room again to go back downstairs and into the lounge area of the dormitory building. She took a seat and began to read, bored, and not wanting to go sit in the classroom by herself until class started. Her thoughts briefly went back to the boy she had run into and how she didn't necessarily regret it. She sighed inwardly at having not talked more, but was thankful she didn't since she was fairly certain she would have said something stupid anyway. She did that a lot, messed up needlessly.

Jessamine breathed inwardly before putting her book back into her bag. She stood and walked outside, heading to the training area to see if she would find her half brother Miles. He was her age and a cool half brother that she could talk to if she wanted to. "Hey bro, what's going on?" Jessamine asked as she went to go sit on a nearby bench to watch him. She could do what he was doing too, but she was dressed for the day and had just showered and didn't want to challenge him to a chin ups competition yet.

"Miss me?" Jessamine asked with a teasing smile as she laid down on the bench to look at the sky and talk to Miles at the same time.

Keo sensed something behind him through the vibrations in the floor (only some Poseidon children could feel so sensitively though having his brother beside him helped) half a second before he felt someone jump on his back. Normally, in the real world, it would be a friend who Keo had grown up with. In the backstreets, Keo would have fought back and won since it would be a stupid normal human mugger trying to make a quick buck off the wrong demigod, but at school? It was merely a friend, or better yet...

"You jerk! You didn't let me know when you got here!" His beautiful and lovely girlfriend, Tris. She was a sweetheart and the daughter of Apollo had stolen Keo's heart a while ago. Kai didn't miss a beat as he paused beside his brother having felt the vibrations at the same time as Keo. "I knew you missed me Tris," Kai stated with a smile as he looked at his brother's girlfriend. Kai liked her. She made Keo happy and that made Kai happy so long as she wasn't drugs or alcohol, and she was neither, she was a girl. Sometimes much more dangerous than both drugs and alcohol, girls could destroy faster than both. But Tris wasn't that girl. So Kai let the bad thoughts he often was forced to suppress go down and away for the moment, not even showing an ounce of his internal philosophical thinking.

Keo covered Tris's hand with his as he turned his head enough to kiss her on the cheek. "Only because I wanted to see you in person first. We got in yesterday morning. Flew from Hawaii to London, then to Italy, then to Greece where we got a lift from some friends," Kai explained as he smiled at her. "How was your time getting here? Any trouble? And more importantly, how was your summer?" Keo asked as he moved his arms to cradle her knees so he was giving her a piggy back ride.

He and Kai then continued to walk as if the situation was normal, suppressing the laughs both wanted to let out. Tris could get down if she wanted to whenever with little effort. "So what are you up to today?" Keo asked as he looked over at her. It was clear he was in a good mood as was his brother.

Kai wished that he had seen the person that would make him as happy as Tris made Keo, but there was no sign of him yet.

Cas laughed at the comment about the text from her mother, wiggling his brows towards her. "Well, we've already kissed, we're ahead of the game there. Let her know I love her too." Reagan laughs, playfully bumping his side with her hip. "You realize that if I ever told her that she'd have a field day!" She looked over towards him, raising her brows. "She'd have my wedding dress picked out by the next time we went to visit her." Cas then through his arm around her. "Now, did somebody say presents?" Ray smiled, "Expect anything less?"

"We should probably hit the dorms first." Cas said while motioning towards his rather large bag. Reagan's gaze follows only to laugh at him. "Lugging this crap around is not fun." Removing his arm from her to adjust his bag, and motion ahead of him. "Ladies first." Ray quickened her step to walk in front of him. She turned around walking backwards while talking to him. "Maybe you should wear swimsuits everywhere like me?" Her hand snapped the fabric of her swimsuit against her abdomen before shimmying playfully. "I mean you'd definitely be more appealing to look at without a shirt on all the time." She bit her lip at him teasingly before spinning back around and leading the way towards the dorms. No doubt they'd go to hers first. Sometimes Reagan wondered if Cas even had his own room because he was usually in hers most of the time. Plus her roommate generally flew solo so it was rare that they were both in the room at the same time.

Once in her room, Cas didn't wait for invitation. Instead he threw his bag down on the ground before sighing very dramatically and flopping onto her bed. Reagan kicked his back slightly, "I'm not doing your laundry." She stuck her tongue out at him before taking a seat on the ground beside her bed, crossing her legs indian style underneath her. Cas adjusted himself so he was propping himself up on his elbows."So, we got an agenda today or are you tired of me yet?" "What? Tired of you?" She said it overly sarcastically. In all honesty she could probably never be tired of him. If she could be, she probably would of had him leave her alone long ago.

Reagan leaned over, grabbing her bag and began to unzip it. "We probably should see these 'gifts' mom spoke of." It took a moment or two of digging around to find them. Typical mom style they weren't wrapped or anything, just kinda had a string wrapped around them, but 2 separate groupings. "It looks like cookies, socks, another hoodie andddd... another beanie for you good sir." She tosses him his bundle, before looking over her own. "And cookies, socks, another bikini and... uh oh." Reagan held up the newest Call of Duty. "Looks like a tournament is in store my young padawan."

Then Reagan reached under her bed to grab 2 other things. But these were from her. She didn't tell Cas about them because she knew he'd tell her not to get him anything. But she comes by it honestly like her mom, and loves giving those she loves random gifts. "I got you a couple things too." She then puts her hands up in an innocent manner. "Shush... I made them." She held out her hand with the first present. A simple leather band necklace with a guitar pick as the charm, and on the guitar pick was a lip print. "You know... So you never forget how we became friends." She made a kissy face towards him.

The next thing Ray pulled out was significantly larger, probably 18"x18" in size. It was just a large collage of different pictures of them together. She moved to sit on the edge of the bed next to him, holding it so he could them as she pointed out some of the best pictures. "This was that time I finally got you in the pool with me. And that was the first time I brought you home on break with me. Oh yeah and this was when my mom unofficially made you her son... Photo credit for most of these goes to mom." There were pictures of her, Cas and her mom, of them both playing video games, of Ray pushing Cas into the pool and even one of them both asleep on the couch together.

Reagan smiled as she slipped the collage in front of him. After a long moment, her smile faded slightly. "What are we going to do when we graduate?" She never liked talking about it because she couldn't imagine her life without Cas. She never went a single day without seeing him, and this was her last year there. They both knew it but never talked about it. "... Would you come live with mom and I?... Because you know if you disappeared I wouldn't be the only one who missed you. And you know mom would let you come live with us permanently." She glanced over her shoulder down at him, her face strangely serious which was not normal for her. It was apparent on her face that the thought had been troubling her for sometime.

At some point during his workout, he wasn't entirely sure when he thought he noticed 2 joggers in the distance collide. They were too far away for him to be able to tell exactly who they were and he was still in a slight funk, not really in the mood to go out of his way to deal with anyone. It was strange how one simple conversation could make someone so homesick for a place that couldn't feel any less like a home. But he couldn't help but feel like he abandoned those kids, taking the easy way out instead of serving time for his thievery. It all just made him angry. You can't change the past and he's stuck in a frozen present at this god forsaken place.

Miles fueled all his feelings into working out, finding it as the only source of relief. As the sun rose high in the sky, he grew hotter. Eventually he tore his shirt off and tied his curly hair back into a tiny bun. He then walked back over towards the chin up bar. He jumped up into the air, grabbing the bar with just his right hand and began single armed pull ups. Just as he finished a good handful of reps, he switched arms. It was then that he heard, "Hey bro, what's going on?" Miles looked over towards the direction of the voice, smiling when he saw it was Jess. "Oh..." He hoisted himself up, "Just clearing my head."

Finishing his chin ups, Miles hopped down from the bar and grabbed his water. He took a long drink while Jess laid on a near by bench to look up at the sky. "Miss me?" Miles laughed as he slowly walked over towards her, sitting in the grass next to the bench. "How was your summer.... Away from here?" He asked her with evident disdain in his voice. Miles hated this place. Maybe it was because he never really found his niche like most people here did. He couldn't quite put his finger on it but something about this place wasn't for him.

At this rate she was going to get stir crazy. Perhaps she'd go sign up for a few clubs or sports. That's what she needed. Something to keep her active and her mind busy. There was a nice little set up in one of the lounges with a bunch of boards artfully decorated to catch the eye and attract people to see what it was all about. A couple caught her attention and she began chatting it up with some of the promoters. The book club was something she would've been interested in without them trying to bribe her with cookies but she gratefully took them anyway.

She couldn't stay away from the sports section of the lounge. After all how could you with a bunch of jocks standing around hollering for people to come over and get their signature for tryouts. "Hey are you wouldn't happen to be a Herme's kid would ya?" "Matter of fact I am." "Perfect. You're a shoe in for anything. I recommend track and soccer though. No tryouts needed." At that Giselle raised her brows, "well how could I refuse." And with that she was signing her name next to the little x.

Feeling quite fulfilled and content, Giselle went back to her room to change clothes for a quick stroll. Of course her stroll turned into a speed walk and then a full on sprint. Soon she was passing others who were on the track with ease. Naturally it wasn't that difficult being the daughter of Hermes. The speed came with the annoying father, but it was a price she was willing to pay. As childish as he was, she tolerated him. There was more than one occasion when she just wanted to trip him when he mid-run but she controlled herself. That was something she prided herself on immensely.

She started to pace herself and decided she had enough fresh air and wanted to get back to her room to freshen up. When she reached her room she looked to her roommates side to notice it was still empty. With a sigh she gathered her necessities and headed into her on suite bathroom to shower. When she was done and finished with that she hopped on her bed and pulled out an ancient Greek text. It was the fourth time she was reading this particular one again, but she just felt like the other three times wasn't enough or her to learn everything she could from it.

But soon not even her books could keep her attention. The sound of voices beckoned her and her curiosity was winning out. Stepping out of her room and heading down the hall she found a small training room. Immediately the two voices she'd over heard clicked in her mind, without having to look at their faces she knew exactly who was in the room. "Miles!" It had been a while since she had last seen her half brother. He was the good one, he always did what was right. Her attention was then turned to her half sister, "...Jessamine," she said less exuberantly. Her sister always held an air of hostility over her. It wasn't exactly Giselle's fault that the two didn't always see eye to eye and that the whole Olympics thing was still an issue.

It seemed like the two had just started talking when Nika excused herself and all but ran away from him. So there Gray stood wondering what the hell just happened. He knew he didn't say anything wrong, maybe she just had something else to do? Or someone new to see? That made Gray a bit disgruntled and he grabbed his bag and went to find his room. Didn't take him long to get there and when he did he heard two voices coming from within. He recognized one of them as being Jensen's, his roommate for the better part of his time at the academy, but the other voice he wasn't so sure of.

For a moment he stood outside the door contemplating on going in or not. If Jensen had a girl in there, Gray didn't want to just come barging in and ruin whatever conversation the two were having. When Nika use to come visit him in their room Jensen was kind enough to leave, even though Gray didn't mind, and he just wanted to return the favor. Looking down at his luggage though brought a straight lip to his face. I just want to drop this off, I won't be in there for more than a few seconds... And with the he knocked on the door to alert the pair that he was coming in.

As he opened the door he averted his eyes to the floor. "Hey Jens! Hey Jens friend." Gray hurriedly put his luggage on his bed and grabbed his old baseball cap from one of his bags. "Don't mind me, just dropping my bags off...." Yeah he wasn't helping the situation at all. "Alright well catch you guys later." Slipping out of the room he heaved a sigh and proceeded down the hall. "Smooth Gray, real smooth."

Walking down the familiar corridors and the doors, Gray placed his hat on his head and headed towards his favorite place, the pool. It was Olympic sized and although it wasn't the ocean or a steady river, it was enough for him. He sat on one of the diving boards and looked into the chlorine depths.

Although he had no intentions of jumping in, he did want to practice his powers a bit. It was just a habit of his. He wanted to gain more control and get better. Quite skilled using the water to heal and in controlling the water when it was in liquid form, he struggled a bit with it's solid form. You'd think with all the time he spends practicing he'd have covered it by now, but something just wasn't connecting with him and it'd take him a few times to turn the water to ice.

Using his hands he brought up a small stream of water and whirled it around him. When he whipped it at the ground intending it to turn to ice and crash down in shards, the water simply just hit the ground and splashed upwards at him causing him to get wet and have his shirt stick to his rigid abdomen. All he could do was glare at the puddle that had formed on the ground. I'll get you one day...

Jessamine smiled at her half brother as he continued to work out. "Something bothering you then?" Jessamine asked before he hopped down from the bar. Miles asked about her summer and Jessamine shrugged. Her summer had been as it normally was, hard, training, meetings, interviews, running from paparazzi.

Jessamine shrugged as she looked up at him. She noticed his hating tone and knew it wasn't towards her or summer, but the island. It was practically required for a lot of them. She went because she had to and she wasn't sure if she would do anything else. At least at the island she had some friends who wouldn't judge her. They understood what it was like to be a demigod and the difficulties that sometimes come with it.

"It was the normal stuff you know. Training. Working out. Struggling to communicate with my mother, hardly hearing from dad, avoiding things, running. A lot of running actually," Jessamine admitted and briefly thought back to the guy she had run into. He had been very good looking and she wondered if Miles knew who he was.

Jessamine opened her mouth to ask about the guy when she heard someone call Miles name. She turned her head and saw her half sister the dreadful and terrible Giselle. Jessamine sat up and gave a smile that was about as fake as a science fiction movie. "Giselle..." Jessamine stated with a less than enthusiastic tone that indicated she truly did not care for her half sister at all.

Jessamine didn't say anything as she stared up at her half sister from her position on the bench. Jessamine just stared at the wall, focusing her energy on remaining calm. Her half sister didn't believe Jessamine when she said she didn't cheat. A few people did and those were the people who mattered. Miles either didn't think she cheated or didn't care whether or not she did. That's why she liked her half brother. Giselle was the other type of person.

Jessamine wondered how fast and how far she could get from the Giselle without appearing like someone scared to interact with her. She wasn't. She just didn't want Giselle to ruin her good mood. Jess turned to Miles again. "By the way, I literally ran into this guy this morning when I was running. Tall, handsome, didn't talk much, strong, and it was early too. Let me know if you know him, I gotta run grab my textbook for Biology, I left it in my room," Jessamine stated before leaving the two behind.

Jessamine didn't even turn towards the dormitories after she was out of site, instead, going to the academics building and taking a seat on the steps. She was tired already, drained from being forced to remember that some people just didn't believe her.

Kai smiled at Tris's response. it was weird, sometimes people couldn't tell who was dating the daughter of Apollo based on the conversations, only the appearance. Kai was in fact, not at all interested in Tris whatsoever. Keo smiled as she slid of his back and grabbed his hand, giving her hand a small squeeze in return. He took his other hand and let it hang holding a strap of his backpack.

"Dang, that's pretty cool of him," Keo stated simply. He loved his father, but he wasn't always a big lover of the other demigod's parents. Such as Ares. Ares bothered him. He was too violent. But Aphrodite, yeah, Keo could thank the goddess of love for a lot. Zeus, he tolerated Zeus. He kind of had to though, Zeus was a different god. You didn't anger him unless you were willing to risk death.

Keo was giving a brief wave to a son of Aphrodite he was friends with before looking back to Tris as she began talking again. 'That's awesome Tris! I wish I could have been there to give support," Keo stated with a mock sigh. He did wish he could have been there for her, but she knew why he couldn't. They lived a very large distance apart and Keo didn't have the kind of money to flight out for only a day or so to support his girlfriend in a one day concert. It just wasn't possible.

"Well, we went surfing, hung out with our neighbors kids, worked at a restaurant and a surf school, and that's about it. The restaurant was really stupid though because we had to wear one of those really cheesy tourist shirts and make our "accents" really, really thick. It was actually really hard since it meant we had to enunciate everything really weirdly, and not like we normally do," Keo stated with a confused look on his face. His boss was a Haole who was whiter than most white people. It was kind of funny that he thought Hawaiins were.

Kai smiled at Keo's words, nodding and making a funny face at the mention of their horrible summer jobs. Kai gave a slight wave as he moved off to go meet someone he had seen right before the kid... Dali, came up to Tris and Keo. "Going good, Dali, what's up?" Keo asked with a friendly smile as he offered his hand for a shake. He was friendly and loved to see old faces as well as new ones such as Dali.

Kai spoke with his friends for a moment before heading out of the building. He wanted some fresh air and to get away from his brother and his happy romance. He loved his brother and loved that he was so happy with Tris, but he wasn't the best about accepting it since he still couldn't figure out his own romantic relationship yet and it was getting to be pretty taxing as a result.

Kai walked towards the beach easily, not even bothering to move quickly, walking in an almost lazy fashion. He could feel the difference of not being near his brother, the way that he still felt he could do things, just not the best he could when Keo was around. It was something they were both used to. They didn't necessarily like it, but they dealt with it.

Reagan laughed shaking her head and burying her face in her palm as she watched him quickly make a mess of her bed just to remove his tattered beanie, replacing it with his new one. “Man, she always gives us the best gifts.” She wasn't going to deny it, her mom definitely knew what they liked... It's a mom thing.

Cas went to put up an argument when she told him about the gifts she made him, but she didn't care. He was her best friend and she wanted him to know how special he is to her. Reagan was able to make him smile once again when she made the kissy face towards him after giving him the necklace. “Like I could forget, it's not everyday a stranger kisses you to save you from trouble.” He then smiled and whispered, “Thank you Ray.” She grinned happily. It's true, and definitely a story they'll remember for a very long time.

Reagan could tell the pictures were making him a little emotional. Not to the point of crying, because it'd have to be something serious to make Cas cry. He didn't say anything which worried her a little, maybe he didn't like it? And as her thoughts went to a darker place and she spoke them out loud to him she saw his entire demeanor change. She didn't mean to upset him but she didn't want to be without him in her life anyways. Everyone here comes from different corners of the world and she couldn't bare to be away from him for more than a week.

Glancing down, Reagan saw Cas' hands begin to shake. Before he could say anything she quickly shifted onto her knees upon her bed, wrapping her arms around him and resting her cheek on his shoulder. "Nothing or no one will tear us apart!" She shifted her weight back on her heels so that she could look into his eyes, "You hear me Cassidy Daly? Reagan knew he hated his full name but she said it show how serious she was while cupping his face in his hands. "You're stuck with me if you like it or not!"

“I… I think that would be great.” Cas finally said, referring to Reagan's comment about him coming to live permanently with her and her mom. “We can always work out the details later, But I don’t want to be anywhere you aren’t." She lets out a soft sigh, moving to sit beside him and rest her head upon his shoulder. "Well good because mom's already kinda preparing the house for you to live there." She looked up at him slightly, "She's pulling out all the stops..." Then she rolled her eyes, laughing slightly. "Ok well she bought a second dresser for my bedroom for your stuff and is getting a heavy duty washer and drier that can handle your funk." She stuck her tongue out playfully.

“You’re my best friend Ray, and the first person who made me feel like I could do better so whatever it takes.” Reagan smiled towards him before allowing her gaze to drift elsewhere. Something about what he said had an unsettling affect on her stomach. But what was it? She sat there thinking about it for a long moment until she began to realize. 'You're my best friend Ray.' Why did it bother her when he called her his best friend? That's what they were after all, they had been for years now. When the true realization hit her she sat up right, clearing her throat slightly. Oh my god... I like Cas. She left her gaze drift over towards him looking at him like it was the first time she's seen him.

When Reagan realized she was staring, she made a funny face towards him before hopping to her feet. She then walked over to the mirror and began to braid her hair. "So what did you want to do today?" She glanced over her shoulder at him, raising a brow. "Let's just... Do something that gets us out of the dorms." When she finished braiding her hair, she made her way to her dresser. She pulled out a few pieces of clothing and walked to the bathroom to change. If she wasn't wearing a bathing suit she would have just changed there but not if she had to get completely naked. After a moment or two Reagan walked back out wearing skinny jeans, a crop top T-shirt and a flannel.

"Something bothering you then?" Miles ran a hand back through his unruly curls before looking over at Jess. "You could say that..." He looked down at his hands, "I just hate being stuck here all the time." That was all he was really going to say on the matter. He can't remember if she knew or not about the deal he made with Hermes to stay at school instead of going to jail. He knew if he broke the promise then he'd probably be arrested almost instantly. So instead he took his arrangement like a dry pill.

"It was the normal stuff you know. Training. Working out. Struggling to communicate with my mother, hardly hearing from dad, avoiding things, running. A lot of running actually," Jess said in reply to him inquiring about her summer. 'Sounds like our summers were similar... Other than the whole mom and dad, avoiding things." He laughed, "Just the working out, training and running." Miles smiled towards her.

"Miles!" He heard his name called, causing him to look in the direction of the call. Miles smiled and waved when he saw his other sister Giselle approaching. He then did a slight double take as he watched the more uncomfortable interchanges between Giselle and Jessamine, causing him to look down at his hands. "By the way, I literally ran into this guy this morning when I was running. Tall, handsome, didn't talk much, strong, and it was early too. Let me know if you know him, I gotta run grab my textbook for Biology, I left it in my room," Jess said before standing up and walking away. "A name would help you know!" He called after her.

Miles then moved to his feet, taking another drink from his water before turning to look towards Giselle. "Hey!... So did you have a good summer?" He gave his sister a quick hug, "Sorry I probably stink, I've been working out." He motioned towards the work out equipment.
