The Story|

"We didn't choose to be this way."

The werewolf gene has been passed down from father to son for generations, but women have to go through The Phase to become a Lycan. An honor which is only given to a wolf's mate. This story is about a set of twins. Claudia and Klaus.

Like all the other children of their small town, they grew up perfectly normal. Going to school, two busy parents who were always gone away on business trips, and doing chores around the house. It wasn't until two weeks ago, in their senior year of high school, that things started to change. It was subtle at first. Klaus didn't pay much attention to the way his skin began to itch, or the strange midnight cravings he started to have. After all, he was a growing guy, right? So it's totally normal to crave raw hamburger at 2:00am.... right? Claudia was the first to really take notice of her twin's strange behavior. Concerned, she finally broke down and called her mother while she was out with their father for yet another business trip. Their trip wasn't due to be over until the end of the week, but they arrived home the next day. They sat their children down, and explained to them the history of their father's bloodline. Klaus could only gawk as his father laughed off the cravings and confessed to having been worried that the gene had not passed to Klaus. As it turns out, Klaus was just a 'late bloomer'.

"You're a werewolf, son. Just like me."

Werewolves. Claudia sat silently in the background as she soaked it all in. Her father, and her brother, through birth. Her mother, through what she explained to be called The Phase. A nasty process involving a full moon, a painful bite, and consuming human flesh. It wasn't long after finding out about Klaus' true race that a new guy moved into town. Klaus isn't sure that he can be trusted, and he sure doesn't like the way his sister looks at him but Klaus has his own problem. He has to figure out a way to tell his father that he won't be continuing the werewolf bloodline for their family, and find a way to ask the boy of his dreams to prom. Meanwhile, the new guy, Eden, struggles to find his place in the new small town he's found himself in. His family never stays in one place for more than a couple of years, but no one knows why.

The boy of Klaus' dreams has no idea that the same guy he's been crushing on likes him back. He also doesn't know, that his crush is a werewolf. In fact, he's more of the realistic type of person. He works after school, and when he's not working he's being tutored by Klaus. He'd never confess to it, but he's been purposefully failing English just to spend an hour or two alone with the most handsome guy in school. Now, he's struggling to pull his grades up so that he can graduate and find a way to confess his feelings to who he thinks is the straightest guy in their senior class.

"He was beautiful."
"She was enchanting."
"He was stunning."
"He was strong."

Things to Know|
Image

This role play has a set plot. I will be steering it the direction we're headed. I will put in key points with NPCs to guide the characters through the plot I have outlined for us. I will be PMing each character with their major plot points so that everyone has an idea as to where they are headed. When we start off, only Claudia and Klaus know about werewolves being in the town. The human is completely oblivious to all supernatural activity. He's just trying to graduate high school. I will be updating the intro page, so be on the lookout for that :3 (I'll say something in the OOC when I do change it ^^)

WOLVES

1. Can shift on will. Their werewolf form is that of a slightly larger than normal wolf.

2. A bite/scratch will not turn you unless it’s a full moon and you consume human flesh/blood during the moon phase.

3. Wolves are not immortal, so a gunshot/stab wound or any other normal form of attack can kill them, but they do have longer lives than humans.

4. The silver thing is just a myth.

VAMPIRES

1. Can go in the sun if they are pure blooded, or wearing something spelled by a witch to ward off their daylight curse. If a vampire is caught in the sun without a spelled item the vampire will begin to burn.

2. A werewolf bite is lethal.

3. Can retract fangs.

4. Can hold/wear/look at crosses, holy water, all the rest of that gibberish.

5. The are immortal beings, with self healing properties. If they are bitten to be changed, they are frozen in time physically at whatever age they were changed at. If they were born a vampire, pure blooded, they age normally unless spelled by a witch to stop their aging (very, very common. The spell only works on the supernatural; not humans.)

6. All vampires are faster, stronger, and smarter (generally due to being alive longer) than humans. They are faster than werewolves, but werewolves are stronger.

6. All posts will be in third person. <3

7. Please do not join if you do not plan on being dedicated and committed. My Co-GM and I are on literally every day. I'm not expecting you to be, but it would be nice. If you're going to be gone, a simple PM for a heads up will be greatly appreciated.

8. Any disappearances for more than a week with no warning will be removed from the rp and the spot opened up.

9. I will not be reserving positions. I will allow people to compete for the slot(s) that are open, but the secret word is "Veins".

10. We are looking for someone who will be active, so again, please, if you do not plan to commit; don't apply.

I have to admit that the confession from Klaus was perhaps one of the cutest things ever. I had to resist the urge to scoop him up off his feet and hug him. Instead I found myself reaching over to grip his hand. My fingers moved over his and squeezed gently.

Jesse moved his other hand over the mark and then shook his head "It's in the past now. I don't care anymore." He looked down at their joined hands and he smiled. "I have to admit I've really liked you for a long time as well. I remember it really started to like you back when we first started high school. I saw you all the time in the hallways and then when I ran into you, you helped me pick up all my things and well I guess you could say from there I was hooked." Jesse chuckled and leaned back, he thought of the confession and figured from there it would be the appropriate time to ask another question, "Would you maybe like to go a movie next Friday?" He was kind of nervous about asking, he hoped that Klaus would have no problem with them being out together like that in public.

His phone buzzed and Jesse moved to look at his phone, he sighed when he saw the message:
'Where the hell are you? We just got a phone call from your school. You've failed your last test. Come home now, we need to talk about things.'

He sighed and slipped his phone into his pocket and looked at Klaus and then stood, "Well shit just hit the fan... do you mind giving me a ride home?" He tried for the cute smile and said "Parent just got a call from school... I'm about to endure a heavy family discussion." He moved a hand through his hair and said "I would really appreciate the ride, unless of course your sister isn't back yet... She did take the truck right...?"

sorry for the wait! Finals have begun for me -_-

Maybe it was cliche or cheesy, but I felt like the happiest person right then. Life was just so good, who could have expected what was going to happen? Though the thought of having to tell Jesse, eventually, that I was a wolf wasn't very appealing. It could at least wait until we had gone on a few dates though, right? Besides, I had to talk to my sister first, she would hopefully know what to do. Perhaps I just shouldn't tell him at all, it wasn't like it was that important.

Holding Jesse's hand was a really weird feeling, but definitely good. It wasn't like he had ever held hands with another guy before, he'd never held hands with a girl either. Unless his sister counted, but he hadn't really held hands with her since he was little. The only date he had ever gone on had ended in the disaster of him backing his truck into another car, and they both had to be driven home in the back of a police car. He probably didn't go to school for a week after that one, he was way too embarrassed to show his face. 'Course that was before he was popular, too.

Listening to Jesse ask him out was the sweetest thing ever, which even caused him to blush. "A movie and dinner sounds wonderful," he said, glancing over at his friend with a grin. "My treat." He had to find some way to pay him back for last night. Even if Jesse could drop it so easily, he couldn't.

After watching him pull out his phone and stand, Klaus followed by getting to his feet and nodding. "I can take you home," he told him with a smile, even though he felt bad that Jesse was about to go home and get yelled at. "Do you mind if Claudia tags along? I'm sure she doesn't want to be left alone." Klaus rolled his eyes playfully, mouthing the word girls as he called upstairs to his sister. His keys were nowhere to be found, which meant that she probably still had them upstairs with her.

I'm not sure how long I waited up there, but looking back on it... I wish I had been able to stay longer. If only I could preserve that moment in time for Jesse... to just pause the world in that one happy moment. I would have. He didn't deserve what happened to him. No one deserves that. I wish I would have thrown the truck keys out the window, refused to go, begged him to stay... so that maybe I could have saved him... Maybe I could have kept all of this from happening... Maybe. Just maybe.

Claudia bounded down the stairs with a happy grin on her face, her new outfit much warmer than her last one. "I'm driving," she chirped, [color=darkred"you two won't mind if we grab some lunch first, right?"[/color] With a grin she led the boys out to the truck and made the thirty minute drive into town. She had never known why her parents wanted to live so far away from people until she found out about Klaus. Now it all made sense.

I knew Jesse didn't want to go out to eat, because he explained that he needed to get home but.. I didn't care. I was hungry. It ended up taking us a good two hours to eat, since most of the time we spent joking around. After we were done eating Klaus mentioned a movie he had been wanting to go see, and of course it was the same one I had been dying to go see, so we went to that too... before I knew it, it was dark out.

"Well, it's not like you're going to be in any more trouble than you were before," Claudia reasoned as she climbed back into the truck, letting Klaus drive this time. Trying to lift Jesse's spirits, Claudia reached over and turned up the radio dial, blaring Light 'Em Up by Fall Out Boy. She grinned and sang along to the song as she danced around in the middle seat between the boys, laughing and having a great time as they all jammed to the song.

And then we pulled into his house...

Image

Klaus slammed on the breaks, sending them to an abrupt halt. "Oh my god..." Claudia breathed, eyes growing wide as she watched as flames danced against the dark night sky. The entire house was consumed. Jesse was out of the truck faster than she realized, and she scampered to follow after him. Screams could be heard from inside the house, and Claudia watched helplessly as Jesse made a run for the front door. The whole front of the house collapsed inches from Jesse's face, sending fire and wood splinters raining down on him. "Jesse!!" Claudia's scream echoed through the night.

Image

They were gone. Everyone that Jesse had ever loved, all burnt to ashes as we stood by, helplessly watching. The cops and firetrucks arrived, and we were asked an endless amount of questions. I remember just feeling numb. I had never seen someone so broken before. His whole life had just gone up in flames, literally. I still remember the way the fire lit up the sky, dancing under the moon as if it was some sort of sick sacrifice. I knew that Jesse would never be the same... and he hasn't been. Knowing that he didn't have anywhere else to go, Klaus and I offered to let Jesse stay with us. The funeral was a small one. No one really cared about Jesse, the quiet kid who was failing out of school. Of course Klaus and I went. Our parents were gone on 'business', but mom sent flowers. That quiet, handsome kid showed up briefly. He stood at the very back of the graveyard, watching from afar as if he wanted to come over, but couldn't. Eden. I saw him again the next night, at the candle light service the mayor held for the fallen family.

Image

The candles that the parents of the town had left were all glimmering in the darkness. It had only been two days since the accident. Claudia watched with a heavy heart as her brother stood silently beside Jesse as the adult and elderly population came by to give him their regards. By law he was old enough to live on his own, so even the social workers abandoned him. Claudia lit a candle for him, her heart heavy with guilt. If only she had gotten him home sooner. If only she had not pushed them to go out to eat, or jumped on the bandwagon to go see the movie. If only...

The list of ifs continued to grow as she slowly looked up, spotting Eden walking towards them. He looked incredible in the candlelight, as if he belonged to the shadows. "Eden," she breathed, "hey..." Her eyes were red from crying, and for once she was not wearing her raccoon eyeliner. It would have just smudged down her face, anyway. Instead, her blue hues were encircled with puffy red skin, and accented with a cherry red nose. Claudia pulled her red black peacoat closer to her, shifting her weight onto her hips. "Thanks for coming."

It's not as though I had asked him to come... but seeing him was like a cool spring rain. Over the past 48 hours my heart had felt like it was going to explode from sadness. Seeing him there, though.. with that cool, straight line his lips make when he's being serious... It made me feel better. Only a little, but at that point I needed anything that could make me forget the smell of Jesse's life burning away.

It's funny how sudden and cruel death can be. One moment I was dreading coming home wishing that I didn't have to see my parents over my stupid marks and then the next all I needed was for them to lecture me. I needed to see their faces, I needed them to be there. My memory of the fire is a bit hazy... The one thing that I can remember clearly is the screams. The pain and the terror that I heard in them. They tell me that I ran out of the car towards the fire, I never thought I would be the type of person to run head first into a fire but I suppose this shows the love that I have in me.

I didn't get past the front door, the building collapsed and I was hit by a burning two by four. At least that's what they say, and I suppose I should believe them, I've got a nice bruise on my cheek and a few stitches near my eye.

The paramedics never got the chance to take Jesse to the hospital to make sure he was alright. Jesse refused and he forced himself to stay and watch as the firefighters put out the fire. When the ground was damp and the house nothing but ashes was he allowed to go and look through the rubble. It was clear there were no survivors, they found the bodies clinging to each other burnt to a crisp. Jesse wasn't allowed to see and for that he was grateful.

When the bodies were removed from the wreckage and taken away in black bags, Jesse began to look for any salvage items. Really there wasn't much, a few books and pots and pans, and a single picture. It was a picture of his parents wedding day, they looked so happy and in love. He tucked it away into his pocket.

Image

I had nowhere to go, and nowhere to stay, I was so confused, angry and lost. I was grateful to Klaus and Claudia. Even Eden had come to the funeral. I gazed down at the spot they were buried and my fists curled and I could feel my nails digging into my skin. I tried to find someone to blame, someone. I thought of Claudia and I knew that deep down she had no idea about the fire and just wanted to have some fun. Still... what if she had driven me home right away? Would I be dead as well?

Jesse felt a few tears slip down his nose and cheek and he sniffed. A hand lifted to brush under his nose and his rented suit had a few wet streaks on the sleeve. His hand dropped and he found suddenly he no longer had the will to stand. He let himself sit in front of the marker and tried his best no to cry. All he wanted right now was a hug. "Klaus..." his voice broke but he didn't care. He called out for his friend again, needing comfort from him.

I just kept thinking that it was so unfair. Jesse was amazing, he is amazing. He didn't deserve to have everything ripped away from him like that, not because of Claudia and I. Even though I knew Jesse wasn't blaming us, or at least I hope he wasn't, I still felt like it was my fault. My sister had dragged us into town to get food, that's fine. Well, even if I knew Jesse needed to get home, it didn't seem like that big of a deal. If I hadn't suggested that stupid movie though, if we'd just gone back home... Maybe things would have been different. Or maybe Jesse would have... Maybe Jesse wouldn't be here either. I'd been thinking about that a lot, and it gave me this strange urge to find Jesse and hug him until neither of us could breathe. I had just gotten him, I didn't want to lose him.

After the fire, we had brought Jesse back to our house. Actually, he's been at our house since then. I sort of liked it, and not just because of the obvious reasons that came with having the guy you liked sleeping a door down from you. It was easier to be there for him, at least as much as he wanted me to be. Our parents only returned once, and they didn't say anything. They couldn't even come to the funeral, too busy with whatever else they were doing. It was obvious that that had made me angry, but I didn't bother getting in a fight with them now.

The actual day of the funeral was the worst. Klaus had never had to go to a funeral before, of course his parents had gone to them but... Klaus was never the type of kid that could handle those things. Even now, it was freaking him out. But he wanted to be there for Jesse, and if his sister was going he definitely couldn't stay at home. He even debated faking sick, but Claudia had seen past that. Did that make him a bad person? Lying to get out of a funeral? Probably, he was just glad Jesse didn't know about it. Instead he'd got up that morning and put on the single suit he had, all for Jesse. During the whole entire service, he had kept at his friends side. There wasn't a second that Jesse ever was alone, not unless he wasn't to be. It had become fairly obvious that Klaus wasn't going to be leaving him alone anytime soon, not unless Jesse sent him away.

It was at the candlelight service that Jesse seemed to finally break down. As soon as Klaus noticed him moving, he reached out towards the other boy, going down with him. "You're alright," he whispered, perhaps more to himself then anything, as he pulled the other boy close. His lips found his temple, where he placed a soft kiss while he held the other boy. "We're all here for you. I'm here for you."

Jesse felt arms reach around them and he knew they were Klaus. Jesse pulled him in closer and for a moment he felt warm and comforted. He felt gentle lips against his temple and closed his eyes. He was ashamed to cry in front of his friend and he burrowed his face away into Klaus' shoulder. Jesse heard Klaus speak and he nodded, "Th...Thank yo...u" He had a difficult time talking through his tears. His shoulders shook a little and he gripped Klaus tight "Don't... Don't leave... me" He didn't want to be alone, he needed to feel companionship and love, and Klaus was the answer to all his needs.

They stayed like that for a long while until Jesse managed to regain control of his tears and with one last sniffle he raised his head and looked at his friend. He had left a nice wet tear stain on Klaus' shirt and he lifted a hand and rubbed his fingers over it as if it might make it go away. "sorry." He mumbled softly. He then wiped under his eyes and hoped that he looked alright, and then stood and pulled Klaus to his feet as well.

I knew that I had to start thinking about a lot of things. For example I did have my parents life insurance money which was a hefty penny, but it wasn't going to last for ever. I needed to start thinking about a job and where I was going to stay. Even though it was really nice to stay with the Everhart's I was sure that they wouldn't want my presence to be a permanent thing. Even though I knew that I had to focus on all these things I just couldn't I needed to forget, I needed something to take my mind off things... And so I found myself asking a question that one doesn't normally ask after a funeral...

"Do you want to go see that movie now?" Jesse asked Klaus. "We could invite your sister and Eden too."

I heard about it on the news. At first, it was just another tragic accident to me, but when I heard Jesse's name, it became more. Don't think that I was mourning or some shit like that. I honestly didn't really care. I just felt bad for the kid, is all. I was passing through when I saw the funeral. I felt a bit out of place, I mean I've only known Jesse for a few days and I've never met his folks, so I wasn't sure if I was supposed to be there. Then there was the candle light service. The whole town was there, people were crying and I was basically the only one with dry eyes. I felt nothing. Does that make me a bad person? In my opinion, I think that crying over death is stupid. It's the circle of life, after all. You can't fight it, so why cry? Tears won't bring them back, and the person was going to die sooner or later. You can't live forever...well, most can't.

Eden walked towards Claudia with a lackluster look on his face. He wasn't really mourning, nor did he feel bad, but he showed up anyway because he felt a little empathetic for Jesse and there was nothing good on TV. He glanced over at the guy, seeing that Klaus was consoling him as best he could. 'Eden, hey... Claudia sniffed. He simply responded with a curt nod of his head. It was his version a greeting, after all. "Thanks for coming." Eden tilted his head slightly, resembling a curious puppy as he regarded Claudia. He was staring at her eye. The skin was still swollen, even more so now since she had obviously been crying. He also noticed that she wasn't wearing her dark makeup, so was able to witness the red ring around her aqua orbs and the pink on her nose. She was still using her hair to shield the blemish, but Eden knew all too well that hiding it would never change what happened that night. He was sure that she didn't want to talk about it, so he didn't bring it up.

"My condolences," Eden said dully.

Had to pretend that I cared so I asked:

"How's he taking it?" He nodded his head towards Jesse before stuffing his hand in his pockets and looking down at the bruised blonde with frosty unblinking eyes.

The way he looked at me; like I was some strange, alien object he had never seen before. Now that I think about it, I guess I would have laughed... if I had not spent so long crying. What's more is that I used to love graveyards. They're beautiful places, with rich history.... Now, all I can think about is death when I see one and I didn't even lose anyone- Jesse did. I was guilty, but more than that I was secretly a little jealous. I know it sounds pathetic, selfish, and shallow.. maybe even a little cryptic and morbid... but I couldn't help but wish that it were my father instead of his. At least then the world might have been a little bit better of a place, and maybe all of this wouldn't have happened. Anyway, I'm getting sidetracked again.

"My condolences," Eden said blandly, his expression hollow and uninterested. "How's he taking it," he added, as if it were an afterthought. Claudia stared at him a little, watching his unblinking hues. She almost scoffed at him. Almost. "He's.. well... Not well," she managed to say, trying to find an even ground between being honest and being sarcastic.

A part of me wanted to lash out and punch him, right then. For some unknown reason I had this longing to just rear back and lay everything I had into him. What did this condesending ass care about our Jesse? Why was he even here? What fucks did he give? None. So why was he here? He didn't belong there, he shouldn't have been there, and no one wanted him there!

And then the feeling was gone.

"I'm glad you came," she said softly, after a storm of internal conflict. "He'll be staying with us for a while, since he doesn't have anywhere else to go... he could really use all the friends he can get right now. I get that you aren't really, like, the uh... 'Friend' type of person, but... I think it'd do him some good to have someone like you around. Someone to help him detach a little, you know?" Why am I telling him all this? Claudia slowly brought her gaze back up to Eden's face, and there was the reason. Aside from his cold, icy gaze, there was that handsome, chiseled face. Annoyance at herself stabbed into her gut and she turned her gaze back over to Jesse as she added, "We're all going to the caves after this... it's kinda a vip thing, but, ah... if you'd be cool about it, and not tell anyone, it'd be cool if you came."

She had found the caves one summer when her brother had chased her into the water. Looking back on it, now that she knew of his werewolf origin, it made total sense why he was so damn good as swimming. Always able to hold his breath longer, swim farther. That said, she had always been able to out swim other girls, and hold her breath longer, but she just figured it was because she had her brother's lungs.

The 'caves' as Claudia called them, were a series of caverns that you couldn't get to unless you swam to them underwater. On the land, there are small holes and cracks in the ground where one can see glimpses of the water below. None of the holes are very noticeable, and no one bothers to go out to that side of the water anymore anyway. Not after the accident.

Okay, so, what happened was there was this group of three guys who were goofing around over there one day, and well, one guy stepped into this hole. It was just big enough for his foot. So, of course the other guys laugh after first but, when they find out they can't get him out, they kinda freak and go get help. When they came back, they found his body mangled and torn to shreds, presumably by some wild animal. Now, I know you don't know a lot about our town, but let me just be the first to say; the wildest animal I've ever seen around there, was a squirrel on a mad nut hunt. Anyway, it's all just rumors, right?

Why am I laughing? There was this hatred in her eyes when she looked at me that night. It was only there for a total of at least ten seconds, but I must say...it was the first time that I thought she was attractive. I have a thing for angry women, I guess. They're good in bed.

Eden resisted the urge to smirk at the anger in Claudia's eyes. It was a flash, but he saw it, and surprisingly...he liked it. It made her seem a bit more fiery. The frostiness in his eyes slowly melted into faint amusement. He obviously struck a nerve and his theory was confirmed when he witnessed her tone become tinged with sarcasm.

I learned something new about her: she's cute when she's mad.

Her voice was softer now, and that fire was dwindling, much to Eden's disappointment. Such a waste of passion... he thought somberly as he gazed at her with new found interest. So, she was inviting him to a get-together even after she was mentally stabbing him. He was tempted to refuse, simply to see that glint of rage again, but he decided that being in a cave with her would be a better chance to get her out for blood. Call him sick, twisted even, but that spark of fury was one of the most attractive things he's ever witnessed.

"I'll be there," Eden couldn't help but feel a cool mischievous smirk settle onto his usual frowning face. Perhaps, he could have fun with little Claudia "Anything to cheer Jesse up a bit." His tone indicated that he had an ulterior motive.

In a boring town like this, sometimes you have to construct your own entertainment. Claudia was my chance to get a laugh or two, and I really wanted to see her get mad again. She had no idea that I was starting to take an interest in her. Yeah, I thought she was pretty or whatever, but that night was the night saw something within her. It was a bit primal, but completely alluring and I wanted to see it again.

Klaus Everhart

Klaus just shook his head, unable to form words at first. There was no way that he was leaving Jesse, not now when he was so upset. He didn't want to ever have to leave the other boy, just the comfort of having him around was nice. The familiarity of their friendship, or whatever it was that they had now. Were they just friends? It was something he had been thinking about a lot the past few days, but he knew now was definitely not the time to be asking those sorts of things. His whole life had just gotten ripped away from him, it would be insensitive to ask about something so unimportant. Or well, unimportant compared to everything else going on at the moment.

He still hadn't gotten a chance to talk to his sister, not properly at least. Every moment spent awake he had spent with Jesse. Perhaps he felt bad about that, in some way. But it wasn't like his sister knew Jesse's parents, or was attached to any of them, so he didn't have to worry too much about making sure she was okay. It was almost like Claudia had always been the stronger out of the siblings, at least emotionally. Even when they were younger, the girl could beat him up. Now, of course, he was stronger in that aspect. But just about anything could make him cry- like when Edward left Bella in the second movie.

Jesse's suggestion of going to see a movie caught me off guard, no doubt. Did he really want to see a movie? Or did he just want a distraction so I wouldn't be coddling him so much? It didn't make sense at the time, but I guess everyone deals with things in their own way. Instead of trying to figure it out, I had just nodded, mumbling my yes's and then offering him my hand to help pull him up.

Gently he led them over towards his sister and Eden- who made him quite uncomfortable for some reason. "Hey, um, guys," maybe he felt a bit nervous around the other boy too. "Jesse and I were thinking of getting out of here and maybe going to see a movie or something." His grip on the other boys hand tightened slightly, not enough to hurt him though.

[ My apologies for taking so long, I haven't been able to get rid of my friend >< Eight days with someone can really drive you crazy... ]

Re: In Our Veins

Mkay now that everyone has posted, feel free to take off! ^-^ Also, the style of my post is just something new I tried out and liked. Feel free to continue to use it, or post in whatever kind style you want (as long as it's not completely first person :3) The posts are beautiful and I am enjoying reading them :3

Re: In Our Veins

haha, I'm exactly like that except with Halloween. Last year I spent most of my savings on decorations and costumes and what not. My front yard was amazing haha. I love halloween, it is my favourite holiday, though I have to agree that christmas is really touching as well. I always cry around christmas though haha. I'm one of those silly people that can cry at anything, I cried in Tangled even. But despite that, I'm pretty cool I hope lol.

Re: In Our Veins

You're welcome <3

And a little insider information about myself; I'm obsessed with Christmas... Literally.. When I'm old and grey I will be that little old lady with the light up Christmas sweater and an electric bill the size of Texas during the holiday season... :3 I just can't get enough of it lol It's my favorite time of year, and not even because of the gifts or anything.. it's because of the atmosphere around Christmas time. Everyone is so happy, and cheerful and just... it just feels nice. People are kinder to each other, and everyone just seems happier. Plus, if you have little kids around, their little faces are all lit up from Christmas lights or the thought of Santa. It's just magical.

Okay, well, there you have it. Jynxii's all-time quirk. xD

Re: In Our Veins

Daw, well we keep appearing in other roleplays together it was about time we had one with just us haha. :) I'm really excited to see how this turns out. I appreciate the compliment on Jesse!

Also on a completely unrelated note, I can hear christmas music and its kinda weird... lol

Re: In Our Veins

You're not allowed to have a life, Bandgeek! >.>

xD I'm kidding. He's been accepted and I'll hop on to putting the first post up. ^-^ There won't be any particular posting order, guys, so after everyone has at least one post up; feel free to take it away from there. ^-^

A note on the characters: I LOVE them! You guys all worked so very hard and I could definately tell that each of you spent a good deal of effort developing and creating your character sheets. I really, honestly, loved reading each of them and I am so proud to call you friends, and partners <3 I'm so glad to see that you are all as excited and enthused about this as I am. :3
