"Sorry if I woke you up," he mumbled, then went over to his bags and looked around for his hair straightener. He found it, then pulled it out, laying it on the bed. He then dug around some more for his hair mousse, also throwing it on the bed. Sonny never really cared about how messy he left stuff, why make your bed if you were going to go to sleep in it the next night. It seemed rather pointless, another way to waste time. The sunrise was just barely visible outside underneath all the gray clouds, which suggested that another snow storm might be heading their way. The orange rays barely got through enough so that he could make out the pine trees. He sighed deeply, then took out his Axe, spraying it everywhere on his bare chest, inhaling the scent of so called 'Rain'. "I hope you don't have Asthma," he said to Gale.
The next time he lifted his head up he felt much more aware, even if not completely coherent. Yawning, he pushed himself up into a cross-legged position to stare groggily across the room. It took him rubbing the sleep crystals from his eyes for a few seconds before he actually registered what he was looking at. He offered a sleepy smile of greeting to Sonny, vaguely connecting something the boy had said before he fell back asleep to the scent floating about the room. It wasn't half bad. Finally processing what he had seen during his first period of semi-awakeness and just previously, he ducked his head slightly to try to prevent a faint blush from showing.
Was Gale this much of a sleepy head, he asked himself, then mentally hit himself in the forehead for even asking. He wasn't supposed to be paying this much attention. WHY was he paying this much attention? The questions never ended. When the iron was done heating, he picked up it up and ran it through his dark strands of hair, causing little puffs of steam to come out as he did so. He continued this for a couple minutes, until the front was completely straight, and shiny in the lights of the room. He then went towards the back of his head, finishing it up with some mousse. He tried to speed up the process, even though usually it took 20 minutes to get his hair JUST the way he wanted it. But he didn't want Gale to think of him as another one of the chicks in this house. If this meant frizzy hair, so be it.
She made a decision to ask the guys what they wanted. She knocked on the door, waiting patiently for one of them to answer.
"Morning, Turtle," he smiled at her.
When a knock sounded he glanced down again, snapping out of his thoughts with the faint bush he had just gotten to vanish returning. Grabbing a random shirt from his bag to cover it up, he used the time pulling it over his head to compose himself. Working at getting his arms through the correct holes, he blinked questioningly at Sonny, not wanting to get up. When he did, he leaned forward slightly to get a better view of the doorway, shrugging upon hearing Turtle's question. His stomach was yet to awaken, and so wasn't clamoring for food just yet.
Restraining a groan as his face heated again, he pulled a pillow over to him as he rolled over onto his stomach, half-burying his face in it to peer over the top at his roommate.
More than anything, he wanted to get to know Gale. He slightly blushed at the thought of that.
He parked swiftly in front of the building and unloaded his backpack and one small suitcase from the trunk of his car. Thankfully the snow had let up, though it looked like it would only be temporary. As he walked into the building, he welcomed the warm air. It rushed over his sleepy-head disheveled hair, throwing bits of his red bangs into the blond. He smelled food, but he couldn't tell what it was. He didn't much care; he immediately left his suitcase by the front entrance and dropped his backpack to the floor, seeking out the source.
He found himself in a cozy little kitchen, with a girl he recognized from his school but never got to know. "What'cha making?" He asked, an excited smile on his face at the thought of eating. He wondered what time it was and how hellish he must look from his sleep in the car, but was more concerned with the food being prepared.
I had a post all nice, and then it was deleted, which is why this is short))
Pushing himself up to peer out the window, Gale nodded "Snowy," he agreed, resting his hands on his knees. He didn't mind the though of just lazing around inside though.
"Twenty Questions?" he commented in amusement, unintentionally recalling the times his enthusiastic sister had suggested he use the game to get to know people, as he had problems otherwise.
Sonny smirked at Gale, then sat on the edge of his bed, playing with one of his wristbands. "You ask me first."
"...Favorite food?" he decided, sounding a bit unsure. It sounded like a stupid question now that he had said it, and he could feel heat beginning to rise in his cheeks.
"What is your sexual orientation."
A blink was his only reaction to Sonny's question; he had never really disguised his preferences, they just never really came up. "Bi, you?" he replied, taking the easy way ot instead of working at thinking up another question.
For once, something to say popped into his head, though it took a few moments or him to come up with the courage to actually speak it. Gaze dropping, he took a breath "Then only focus on certain ones," he said finally, positive that his face was red by the time he finished.
