Will you kill the others, or make profit from war, and have someone do it?

Introduction

The earth is divided in 9 regions, these will serve you for your character creation.

-The land of the damned: the only region where necromancy and the dark arts are not only allowed, but encouraged, the undead reside here, vampires, zombies, and the traditional sentient undead, all that stuff is here, the weather is cloudy due to the ash the constant corpse-burning creates.

-The toxic bog: many humanoids reside here, mostly reptilians of every kind, along with amphibians and the occasional were beast, while not the entirety of the land is poisonous or an actual swamp, the most known areas are.

-Desert of the thousand mirages: a barren, desolated wasteland of sand, the creatures here have adapted to the harsh weather and the scorching heat.

-The land of man: Home of the widely know humans, a young and curious race, very adaptable, the land is prosperous and rich in nutrients (and you start here, regardless of race, origin, or anything).

-Howling tundra: The south pole version for this, nomadic tribes reside here, food is scarce.

-The great savanna: a massive plane, small trees grow here, fast predators make this area very dangerous.

-Ashmandi jungle: the trees in this jungle grow tall, their vines reach the ground, there's a wide range of creatures here, most of them herbivores, predators are scarce but those that thrive here are well-adapted to the tricky environment, there's a human settlement here called The Spade fortress, serves as a trading hub for hunters.

-Ocean of the great snake: several lakes, pools, and rivers are connected trough the region via underwater caves, it is said the snake-god created the region while escaping from the war between the god of death and the god of life.

-Volcanic mountains: nobody has fully explored this region, the air is heavy with volcanic ash and sulfur, whatever that lives here, it isn't a normal living being.

As with all stories, there are gods, some of them have names, others don't need them:

-The god of death: Rules over the dead, the patron of the necromancers and users of the dark arts, needs no name.

-Vorlyebel, god of war: the patron of the berserkers and fighters, it is said the true believers reside within the volcanic mountains.

-Laudest, god of life: the patron of the priests and paladins, fought against the god of death, the reason was lost in time, gave life to Atheleper's, and Kelithiss creations.

-Atheleper, the feral god: gifted the druids the ability to shift between shapes, created the beasts roaming trough the lands, as well as the werebeast curse.

-Kelithiss, the snake god: created the humanoid reptilians, is also the patron of thieves and assassins, due to its cunning nature.

-Xiloit, the sage god: God of knowledge, gives the tinkers and engineers great visions of machines during their dreams, as well as being the source of magic in the realm.

the gods of life and death were at war, however the god of life is currently dormant, the reason for this is unknown, the god of death is taking a tighter hold on the planet as there is more people dying than ever thanks to the humans expansion, Kelithiss and Atheleper are having a quarry over their creations, the legion under the banner of vorlyebel is swiftly gathering strength to overthrow the other god's armies, and it is suspected that Xiloit is creating a end-of-the-world style machine, pick a side on the war, or make profit from it.

(Gods aren't playable, don't even try, they will, however, give you a blessing, should you please them, except the god of life, he's knocked out.)

I apologize for my incompetence, alot has been going trough my life, this is your character template:

Name: (Self-explanatory)

Gender: (gender-less is reserved for elementals and amphibians)

Race and faction: (You can be an undead lizard working for xiloit, go wild, and vampires will need to provide a damn good reason for being one, or at least make him likeable.)

Affiliation/current standing: (Say wether you're with a certain kingdom/god, or don't.)

Abilities: (four abilities)

Short back-story: ("he's an undead lizard tinker yadda yadda yadda humans suck yadda yadda")

Kingdoms:

Man: Versatile, their society is divided in castes, the warriors praise their goddess Vorlyebel, the wizards and tinkers/machinists praise Xiloit, the templars and priest praise their dormant god Laudest, their territory ranges from their native land, the land of man, to the ashmandi jungle, and a section of the howling tundra, their king is Grant Von Kaiser he's a gifted spell-sword, able to create weapons with magic for his use in battle, personally directs a platoon of the military and trains the most skilled paladin, warrior and wizard in his kingdom.

The march of the marsh: a conglomerate of the sentient races in the toxic bog, has the widest diversity in their ranks, however, the vast majority are reptiles, followed by rat-men, and sentient insects, the toxic bog, the desert of the thousand mirages and the ocean of the snake are their territories, their spiritual leader is Khal-balameet a reptilian with a very rare mutation, has gills, a strong sail that helps him swim, and long tattered wings that help him glide into battle.

The damned: The reign of the undead, ruled by the necrolord Ik'sante Narcolis a "human" undead, nothing happens in his empire without his knowledge.

I believe this is all, i'm trying to make a small map, will post it when done.

Toggle Rules

-You cannot have more than 4 abilities.

-All player characters are naturally resilient against all damage, they also have increased stamina, they won't tire nor die easily.

-You cannot, under any circumstances kill a player's character without that player's consent, unless we (the active players) vote for it, deeming it necessary, you have to provide a good reason to start a vote.

-Your character is not allowed to have these abilities, nor any variation of them: time control, touch of death/life, revival, massive regeneration (cutting off a limb and regenerating it in a matter of seconds), invulnerability to more than one kind of damage at a time (If you decide to make a character have invulnerability for more than two elements, then rapidly switching between them will lead to your character being exhausted and open for a killing blow), fading out of existence or "blinking" in-and-out, and finally, mind control is useless on player characters and their subordinates.
