"Oh, you're adorable."
"I like boys and I like girls. I get the best of both worlds."

Millie was still blushing hard, finding the situation rather embarrassing and feeling a little bit of a tool. It wasn't that she was the homophobic sort, it was just a new concept to her and she found it a rather weird idea just like Leon had when he had things explained to him. "Lucky you!" She laughed, still a little nervous but definitely with a good heart.

"Then maybe I'll let you listen some time."

He raised an eyebrow. "You know music was not something I expected of you. Not to offend..." Leon said, but grinned slightly at her offer. Still sex never satisfied him, it only made him ache more.

"Twilight fanfictions? Dirty ones? I'd love to read some time..."

As they were putting their things in the trunk and the others had already taken their seats, Beck generously ran his hand over her ass before moving round to her front and tugging likely at her waistband, as though wanting to pull down her bottoms. "You keep hinting that you are planning to make this holiday very interesting..." He moaned, before slowly moving away from her. "Please...please do. Not going to lie I'm feeling pretty desperate right now."

He clumsily took his seat next to Elisa, still a little flustered, and later Millie seated herself next to Beck. Of course this was her favourite choice of placement but the only issue was his girlfriend lingering at the other side of the car; no doubt she would be hissing with jealousy the whole journey. Millie couldn't understand why he would ever choose her, she saw no advantages, only disadvantages. In the red heads mind all Elisa was, was a snob with a poisonous attitude and a lot of issue that would restrict a young man in his life, not to mention her weight restricted her of having incredibly flattering assets. She tried not to think in such a bitchy manner, but it was hard not to when she had already shown her dark side. Suddenly the woman felts emotions turned gloomy and so she placed in earphones to try and ignore the situation. It was all she could do really.

Leon started the car and soon they were on their way. As much as he didn't verbally acknowledge the fact Bex had taken shot gun, he had definitely made note of it. Millie could have been there instead of her and she could have had a good laugh with Elisa in the back, but she chose not to. It was confusing. He was tired of mixed signals, but once again it was obvious that Leon took simple things like things and twisted them into unnecessary love conflicts. It was dumb.

The car ride was long, longer than any Elisa or Rebecca had taken in a while. Elisa, who was usually a daydreamer staring at the window, had managed to doze off more than a couple times - the sound of the car lulled her into a nap, with her head snuggled against Beck's shoulder. She would wake up periodically and chat or snuggle with Beck, for the most part completely ignoring Millie's existence in the seat next to him, but almost always managed to fall back asleep like the most tired of puppies.

Bex, on the other hand, was completely filled with life. She sang aloud with the radio, with a voice that didn't sound half bad, and was constantly thinking about car games for the five of them to play. She would frequently turn around in her seat to wake up her sleeping friend and poke fun. It was hard for her to keep quiet for a solid minute and she was extremely fidgety. After about two hours, and knowing there was about another hour and a half left, she was practically begging to get out of the car.

"Can we puh-leeeaaase, stop for like water or something. I'm going to die." Rebecca said with a groan, looking at Leon with her lower lip jutted out in a pout. "Pretty pwease."

"I'm hungry," Elisa piped up, her voice groggy from sleep. She was pretty sure she had completely silenced the entire car with that statement. Beck looked more than a little shocked.

Rebecca turned around in her seat, all but ignoring her seat belt laws to stare at her. In all her days, she had never heard the girl admit that. Not once. Her eyes narrowed.

"Weird. I didn't know you ate. I thought you survived on angst and dreams." She said with a wicked grin and teasing that only a best friend could get away with. Though there was an underlying sadness in her voice.

"I eat. Mean." The thin girl stated flatly, sticking her tongue out.

Elisa didn't eat much and what she did eat was few and far between, but it was about the time of day that she'd allow herself a snack - such as an apple. It was always apples with her or grapefruit or some small low calorie snack. It was the fruit that gave her some semblance of energy, though not much it could sometimes get her through a day without literally passing out.

"What about you, Red? Hungry, hafta pee, just want to get out of this car for like five seconds?" Bex asked, though it was clear that the third option was really her own needs. Obviously, long trips weren't her strong suit and she had begun feeling a little claustrophobic. She was someone who constantly kept herself busy, talking or just plain doing something; sitting in a car wasn't exactly conducive to that. For that reason alone, she was pretty annoying to road trip with.

Beck enjoyed the car journey. He was excited and the warmth of Elisa pressed against him was pleasant. He was the type to be rather fussy on long travels but today he seemed more content. It was like they were finally getting away from everything that was troubling them, and for a week none of that even needed to be thought about. It was peaceful and a weird sense of relief over came him. For once they were untouchable.

Beck played the games that Bex would throw upon them but tried to keep calm so the fuss wouldn't wake Elisa. After a while Millie began to join in and things actually became rather competitive. She felt as though Bex was actually making her feel more comfortable about the holiday. They kind of had a fair bit in common, well from what they knew from each others surfaces. The pair got on in a kind of awkward "I'm not supposed to like you" way.

"Can we puh-leeeaaase, stop for like water or something. I'm going to die."
"Pretty pwease."

"It's only you that has an issue with the length of time in the car. Everyone else is pretty happy but you just have to be the annoying little kid." Leon responded tutting. As much as he was joking there was a kind of underlying tone of sulkiness in his voice that was a little bit bitter.

"I'm hungry,"

The brunette pushed his head back into the head rest with a sigh, his whole counter statement being proven wrong and now they definitely had to pull over. "Fine." He murmured, turning in to the closest pit stop which was a weird kind of small shopping mall with plenty of little cafes, restaurants and arcades.

"Weird. I didn't know you ate. I thought you survived on angst and dreams."
"I eat. Mean."

Beck shot a really nasty and defensive look at Bex. As much as he knew they joked about things often he was really trying to coax her into eating in a sensitive way with out scaring her away from the idea. He might have been reading into it too much but it was like she was giving his girlfriend negative connotations linked with eating. Of course on the other hand Beck was just a very protective partner. "I'll pay and treat you to something nice so you can buy more shit hipster bracelets later." He said kissing her on the cheek.

"What about you, Red? Hungry, hafta pee, just want to get out of this car for like five seconds?"

"I can always eat. This pitstop looks really cute too." Millie replied in a lighthearted tone. Millie was not like Elisa, she wasn't fat but she was definitely a healthy weight with plenty of curves and a huge appetite and passion for nice food. Most of the nutrition seemed to go to her tits anyway.

The group climbed out of the car and headed towards the building.

"Fine."

A squeal of delight burst out of Rebecca's mouth and she was very nearly grinning ear to ear, like a child who had just been let loose at Disneyland. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She happily squeaked, pressing her lips against his cheek without thinking.

As sultry and flirty as Bex could be, she also had a weird childishness to her. Always excited, constantly running at a million miles an hour. It seemed she had endless amounts of energy.

"I'll pay and treat you to something nice so you can buy more shit hipster bracelets later."

Elisa gave him a half hearted smile, knowing that the moment they stopped somewhere she was only going to disappoint him by ordering or buying something small...something normal people wouldn't consider a meal, but a snack or tiny appetizer. It was unlikely she'd eat all of it either. "I think you secretly like the hipster bracelet." She teased, sleep still in her voice. "Next thing you know, you're going to be growing a beard and wearing a flannel."

She wrapped her arms around his waist in a close little snuggle. "It's okay. I love you anyways, closet hipster." He was so warm next to her that she didn't want to let go, only doing so when they started to exit the vehicle. The air outside the car smelled different from the air at home - cleaner, crisper. It was evident that they were getting closer and closer to the beach, farther away from their city.

She lifted her arms up and stretched her muscles after sitting for those few hours, her shirt lifting slightly to show her stomach - far leaner than even tiny Rebecca's. She examined her surroundings, realizing that she had never been to this particular rest spot. "Oooh. I didn't know this place existed."

The smell of the food from all of the restaurants both enticed and repulsed Elisa, who was already getting palpitations at the idea of eating any amount of food in front of people.

Bex nearly rolled her eyes at Beck's glare, feeling as though he was too tightly wound. It wasn't that she didn't care or that she wanted to encourage her friend. She was as aware as anyone who so much as glanced at Elisa that the poor girl clearly had a problem. Rebecca just didn't have a very sensitive mindset. She was loud and indiscreet and clearly had no problem with calling someone out if she felt the need. It was both a virtue and a damning flaw.

"Bex, you're spacing out, come ooon, you gnome." Elisa called, already a slight ways away from the car.

"Not all of us have stilts for legs!" The brunette countered with a pout, looking at all the people in the group before jogging to catch up. She was just barely under the five foot mark and the height difference between her and the rest was pretty hilarious.

Elisa grinned and stuck her tongue out as a tease.

"I can always eat. This pitstop looks really cute too."

"Oh my god, I could kill for some pizza right now." Bex said to the girl. Like Millie, she could eat for days without a care. She didn't gain a pound, and while she wasn't as busty as the red head, she too had a little more meat on her than her friend. Then again, if she could eat an entire buffet and chase it with a bar, she would. She dreaded the day she grew old and her metabolism dropped.

Rebecca was enjoying Millie's company, as well as Elisa's, and couldn't quite understand why they didn't get along. Perhaps it was Bex who just didn't give a fuck about anything and would speak with anyone, but other than a stupid boy she wasn't sure why they hated each other...Then again, Elisa had always been quieter and colder than most people...it had just seemed a little increased with Beck's friends. She knew she'd figure out why one day, but she wasn't sure how to go about asking in a way that wouldn't make everything more awkward than it already was. She glanced back at Elisa and Beck, smiling. "What do you guys want?"

Elisa was uncomfortable with the question and looked over to Beck, who would likely have an answer. "I don't care. I'll go wherever." She stared at their hands, which she had twined together after getting out of the car.

Ever since the incident with Malachai, she had been clinging to Beck a little more. Like Jess, Elisa had had more than a couple of nightmares - some she had told him about in passing and others she had completely ignored. She felt safe next to the blonde and, more importantly, she knew that he was okay. Even miles away, she was afraid that someone could come along and ruin everything. She knew it was irrational and she wondered if she was annoying him, or if he thought that she was just doing it as a territorial thing against Millie - though that probably did play a small part. Anxiety was crushing her, on top of everything else in her fucked up world.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!"

"Jesus Christ. It's like you have ADHD or something. You should be tested. I'm not even joking everyone else can sit in the car well behav-" He was cut short as her lips met his cheek. At first he began to grin widely, clearly very pleased with her token of appreciation but as he began to leave the car the smile faded. She was fake. This was all fake. He thought about telling her to stop. He would say something like 'If we are just fucking why are you doing all this cheesy stuff' but that would just send her running; well maybe anything was better than this game.

"I think you secretly like the hipster bracelet.
"Next thing you know, you're going to be growing a beard and wearing a flannel."
"It's okay. I love you anyways, closet hipster."

"It's you. You are rubbing off on me. Clearly its a contagious disease." Beck teased, leaning away from her like she had a bad case of the flu. "I tell you what if you find me a hipster bracelet I like, you could always get me a gift. Try and change my mind. I dare ya." The blonde said, prodding Elisa with a chuckle.

"Bex, you're spacing out, come ooon, you gnome."
"Not all of us have stilts for legs!"

For a second or two there was silence before Leon suddenly piped up with "Bex has nice legs." The tone was simplistic and sounded almost it wasn't meant to be said aloud. It probably wasn't. It definitely wasn't. He was finding it hard to pretend to be angry at her.

"Oh my god, I could kill for some pizza right now.
"

"Fucking hell. I could do with some pizza...and dough balls and garlic bread. My god. I'm actually starving." Millie exclaimed, now piping up as conversation was directed towards her and drew her attention away from Beck and Elisa's sickening canoodles. The red head was already finding the journey harder than she thought, but she wasn't one to voice her pain. It was a bad idea for her to have come in the first place. She decided to go to become closer to Beck but instead was just having to witness his love for someone else.

"What do you guys want?"
"I don't care. I'll go wherever."

As they entered the large building Millie spoke up again. "That looks like a nice Italian place. We could eat there? It won't just be pizza. I'm sure there is plenty of choice." She informed, seemingly directed towards the idea of Elisa having picky eating habits. "Or we could meet up later. I'm pretty set on pizza though."

"Fine, but the second you start sporting a man bun with that hair of yours is the second I stop shaving my legs." Elisa laughed, lightly pulling at one of the strands hanging in his face. When she brushed it away from his cheek, she stared at him for a moment with a small smile on her face - in awe of him and how handsome he was, how lucky she was to have him stand by her despite all of her flaws. She wrapped her hand through his and continued walking with the others.

"Bex has nice legs."

"Do I?" Rebecca was nearly grinning ear to ear and she winked at him, teasing and flirting. First she had gotten him to smile and now he was complimenting her, intentionally or not, she was glad he wasn't completely ignoring her. She wasn't sure why she was fighting so hard to keep his attention, chalking it up to the fact that she was always the dumper and never the dumpee. Not that any dumping would really go on...it was more like walking away and she made sure she was always the one to walk away first. She didn't want to walk away yet.

Maybe she liked him.

Maybe she liked him a little too much.

She hadn't decided yet.

"Fucking hell. I could do with some pizza...and dough balls and garlic bread. My god. I'm actually starving."

"Garlic bread, cinnamon sticks...Ugh, I'm drooling. Why'd you bring up the bread, Red? WHY? Now I'm going to eat exorbitant amounts and become fat before we even get to the beach and I brought a super cute bikini too." Bex fake pouted and leaned against Millie, putting all of her weight at the other girl as though they had been friends forever and it was acceptable teasing. "See, I can feel the pounds mounting as we speak. Delicious, pizza-y pooounds."

"That looks like a nice Italian place. We could eat there? It won't just be pizza. I'm sure there is plenty of choice."

Elisa turned her attention to Millie and bit down on her lip. There was bound to be a salad in there, right? Salads were easy. She could pick at the lettuce and hide how much she wasn't actually eating. "I'm sure I can find something, you know?" She said with an uncomfortable smile. It was, perhaps, the first thing she had said to the red head that didn't carry any animosity or bitterness.

Elisa wasn't sure what Beck had told Leon and Millie about her, if he told them anything. She knew she was very thin and she knew it was obvious, despite the layers of clothing she often threw on herself. She just hoped that most people passed it off as a fast metabolism, paired with her height that made her look the way she did. Then again, Millie was a medical student and probably not stupid - as much as Elisa wished she was. Either way, she found herself inconspicuously hiding herself slightly behind Beck.

"And oh my god, who wouldn't want pizza? It's the fruit of the GODS." Bex chimed in, as she often did.

"Fine, but the second you start sporting a man bun with that hair of yours is the second I stop shaving my legs."

Beck came up behind her and grabbed at her hips. "Hey I'm not that shallow." He said in a jokey tone before leaning closer towards her and murmured "I'd still fuck you no matter what." The blonde smiled, thinking about spending a whole week with Elisa and noting how intimate they could get each night.

"Garlic bread, cinnamon sticks...Ugh, I'm drooling. Why'd you bring up the bread, Red? WHY? Now I'm going to eat exorbitant amounts and become fat before we even get to the beach and I brought a super cute bikini too."
"See, I can feel the pounds mounting as we speak. Delicious, pizza-y pooounds."

As much as Millie did feel a little uncomfortable and...weirded out by Bex's behaviour she still happily played along. "I'm sure you will still look great in a bikini no matter how much you stuff your face." She complimented, but in a rather innocent of way.

"I'm sure I can find something, you know?"
"And oh my god, who wouldn't want pizza? It's the fruit of the GODS.".

As much as the redhead hated Millie with every bone in her body she still found herself holding a smile that hid a lot of pity for the young woman. She knew what anorexia did and how it completely consumed and destroyed people, physically and mentally. As much as she had never researched psychology she still had a great amount of in depth knowledge about the biological part of it and how small of a line she was walking before her body completely just packed itself in.

The group headed towards the restaurant and began to examine to menu that was held on big stands outside. "Oh, its a little pricey." She whispered, almost as though she did not want to be heard but Leon quickly stepped in as though it was nothing. "No worries. I got you." It was really fucking weird how he was always supporting her with no second thoughts. At times it did appear as though he was rather interested in Millie but of course with her undenying love for Beck the girl just responded in the most unromantic of ways, but that didn't mean he didn't appreciate his generosity. It didn't look like he was paying for her for her attention however, it was something much more kind. "Lets just get something big we can share, and some dough balls!" Millie requested, jumping from foot to foot, clearly very excited.

"What do you fancy? There is some nice baguettes and pastas. I think I'm gunna get a baguette." Beck told Elisa, trying to make the situation seem normal and not too much of a deal, still his voice was too monotone and he seemed nervous. She needed to eat and he needed to persuade her it was okay.

Okay but what the hell is a dough ball. XD

"Hey I'm not that shallow."
"I'd still fuck you no matter what."

At that, Elisa's face turned bright red and she looked away from him while grinning like an idiot. It's not like she had a lot of time to spend with Beck, at least not nearly enough of just the two of them. Between her desperately trying to keep up with school, stay home with Jess and everything else in her world; they were busy. The constant fear of Malachai at home wasn't the biggest turn on either. "Pervert." She called him, her cheeks still pink, but that didn't stop her from leaning in and giving him a small kiss on his neck.

"What do you fancy? There is some nice baguettes and pastas. I think I'm gunna get a baguette."

She tried her best to keep him from noticing her fidgeting hands as she stared at the menu. Everything on it was carb and calorie loaded, something that made her nervous to just think about. She glanced over the options, all of which had calories listed - making it easier for someone like her to pick and choose. Nearly every meal had more than she was willing to eat in an entire day, as she had lowered her count to dangerous new lows. "Caprese salad, probably." She said, still staring intensely at the menu.

Caprese salad had cheese, and there was no doubt in her mind that she'd avoid that on her plate, but she could deal with the rest - including the chicken breast it came with. Odds were she wouldn't eat much of it anyway, and she'd do her best to hide how little she was truly eating.

The idea of eating in front of the group was making her anxious. Especially as she added and subtracted all the numbers that went into food in her head. She had gotten strangely good at figuring out the exact calorie count of things, depending on how much she ate and what she omitted entirely. It had been a while since she had eaten, especially in front of Beck - the last time she could remember being the disastrous festival where she met Millie. Since then she had mostly kept eating at home, in her room, in completely privacy where no one would comment on how little or how much she was eating.

"I'm sure you will still look great in a bikini no matter how much you stuff your face."
"Lets just get something big we can share, and some dough balls!"

Rebecca was more than a little happy with Millie's compliment, preferring to take them wherever she could get them. She beamed for a moment before she was overtaken with jealousy, by Leon and Millie's exchange. It wasn't that she was mad at either of them, in fact that rather strong emotion was a little shocking and it was more than likely the surprise that showed through on her face. She glanced at Leon, albeit briefly, and composed herself - and walked up to the host.

Luckily for her, it was a boy about her age and not entirely unattractive - though certainly not on the same level as Leon - and she had to stop herself from grinning like he was prey. "Hey there." She said, in the perky way that she did most things, leaning slightly on the counter so that her shirt became a little more revealing.

The boy noticeably swallowed, but maintained his composure. "How many for your table?" He said, smiling politely and trying his best to keep his eyes from wandering.

"Let's see, five I believe? I mean unless you wanna join us," She smiled, tilting her head to the side.

"Boss probably wouldn't like that. But I've got a great table for you, just this way." He motioned for the group to follow.

"Oh, boo. Maybe later then." She gave him her best fake pout.

The host took them to a table by a window, which overlooked the shopping center of the small town that had made it to. It was nice and probably well worth her flirting. The nice host, who's name tag read Andrew, placed their table settings and pulled out Rebecca's seat for her, while asking for drink orders.

"I'll be right back with those drinks." He said with a smile, his hand curiously placed on Bex's shoulder before he walked away.

Elisa looked at her friend wide eyed with one eyebrow raised. "Was that necessary?" She questioned.

"I mean, the service is superb isn't it?" Rebecca replied with a satisfied grin.

Elisa rolled her eyes and laughed, noting that her friend had laid in on a little heavy but not saying anything else. She briefly wondered if she was trying to make Leon jealous or if she was just trying to show him that she could do anything she pleased. Either way, she tried not to think too long on her friends flirtatious behavior - often finding that it lead to more headaches than not.

"Pervert."

"Hmph." He huffed simply, unable to remove the grin on his face. His mind wandered, maybe to places they shouldn't have done in public....

"Caprese salad, probably."

Beck frowned and kind of looked away from her to hide his expression. It wasn't enough to sustain her, but in another sense there was enough in it to be decent. It wasn't just leaves. "Alright but since I'm paying you better finish it all. Fancy a starter? Some soup? We could share a garlic bread?" He said, trying to persuade her into consuming a little more in the most suttle of ways. He wanted to talk to Elisa about food in a way that didn't seem like he was demonising it. Food was a good thing and he wanted to show her how perfectly normal it was to eat.

"Hey there."
"How many for your table?"

Leon could feel his fists clenching absently. He wasn't sure if she was purposely trying to stir him or naturally very flirty and legitimately interested. After all she kept making sure he was certain about them just being friends with benefits. Either way he was very silent as they seated themselves at the table; his lips pressed into a thin line.

"I'll be right back with those drinks."
"Was that necessary?"
"I mean, the service is superb isn't it?"

"He seems like a cunt." Leon chimed in very quickly. He spoke so fast that the words kind of mingled together and didn't really sound correct anymore. He would have ordered something extremely alcoholic if he had not been driving the rest of the journey. He kind of thought on asking Beck to drive but to be honest he seriously didn't trust him with his car. Millie meanwhile was laughing so hard that noise wasn't actually leaving her mouth, she was just kind of clutching her ribs and lightly squealing. Clearly she had caught on to this small game.

"Alright but since I'm paying you better finish it all. Fancy a starter? Some soup? We could share a garlic bread?"

Elisa smiled as a response, knowing full well that she wouldn't be doing any of those things. At least, not of her own accord. She knew he was trying to help and that he was worried for her...she just wished he wouldn't pay so much attention to it. She wasn't hospitalized with a tube shoved up her nose or officially dying and she wished that was enough to pacify him. Besides, thin was society's main beauty goal and she was thin. Not as thin as she would like, and it seemed that every time she reached a goal weight that it just wasn't good enough. She'd tell herself that just "three more pounds would do." Having control over her weight as a comfort and a curse. "We'll see." She answered him, leaning her head on his shoulder.

"He seems like a cunt."

Rebecca raised an eyebrow at him and smiled. She was thoroughly amused. "Damn, Leon. Harsh words for someone who literally didn't say a word to you. Talk about saying what you really feel." She teased, clearly proud of herself for having caused such a reaction from him. If he was jealous that meant he still wanted her, didn't it? She couldn't see why he wouldn't, figuring she was every guys wet dream: a girl who wanted nothing but sex and didn't require any strings. She had a hard time understanding anyone who wanted a relationship, seems her limited experience of them had ended with hurt.

Millie's funny, quiet laughing was also pretty hilarious to Bex and she sent her a wink.

---

It was only a short while later that the waiter came back to take the orders, heavily flirting with Bex all the while and left to come back again with the food. The smells of marinara and pasta wafted through the air and cheesy Italian songs played over the speakers. The restaurant was cute, with murals painted on each wall and dimly lit. It was gimmicky but nice, if not a little romantic. Their table by the window showed all the other little shops, from a candy store to a coffee place. It was a nice little pit stop town.

Bex was thoroughly excited when pizza was sat in front of her - nicely accented with a piece of basil on top. "I have found love in your cheese." She spoke to her food like a child and was grinning like an idiot.

"It's like you're six or really high, but all of the time." Elisa chimed in with an eyeroll, though she was clearly entertained. Bex, at the end of the day, was hyper and full of life - so completely different from herself and Elisa envied her for it.

While Bex dug into her pizza like she had never eaten in her life, Elisa mindlessly cut a tomato into four or five different pieces with her fork and continued to do so with the rest of her plate. She didn't even think about how she did it anymore, it had simply become habit. The more pieces she cut into it the more it looked like she had eaten when she simply hadn't. Occasionally she'd pop a piece into her mouth, but it was few and far between.

"Maybe I am high all of the time or maybe I'm really six. The world may never know." Bex responded cheerfully. "I like to think it's charming or annoying. Both could be beneficial."

"How is annoying even beneficial?" Elisa asked, wondering what logic her friend would pull this time.

"Those who find you being you annoying and leave you aren't worth keeping around, are they?" The brunette said with a grin, pulling her tongue ring between her teeth.

So the logic carried a grain of truth.

"We'll see."

"Hmm..." Beck let out a displeased hum at her response. What the hell did that even mean? As much as he did try to be as patient and understanding as possible, there was no denying that Elisa could be extremely frustrating. He didn't understand why she couldn't see why she needed to eat, and how doing so would improve not only her physical state but also her mental health. It was just this endless loop of disaster. She was depressed and panicky so she didn't eat...she was drained and overwhelmed so she felt depressed. The circle needed to be cut.

"Damn, Leon. Harsh words for someone who literally didn't say a word to you. Talk about saying what you really feel."

Leon rolled his eyes, his temper growing more and more fiery the more she stirred. "If I said what I really feel I'm pretty sure I would be removed from the restaurant." He hissed, though his anger was now turning away from the waiter and to her. Why would she play him like this? Was she that much of a sadistic fuck? As the man served he didn't thank him but at the same time Leon tried to not to hate him. Bex was playing the game and Andrew was losing, and he didn't even know it. It was kind of mean to be honest.

"I have found love in your cheese."
"It's like you're six or really high, but all of the time."

Leon wanted to chuckle but didn't, Beck however did. The waiter lay a giant cheesy baguette before him and of course the blonde instantly with "It's to scale." of course referring to his penis. Leon quickly leant his body over the table and sliced his knife across the bread, cutting it down to a little less than 4 inch.

Millie and Leon then split a pizza and ate in between popping garlic dough balls in their mouths as though they were the size of smarties. The redhead looked rather adorable with a big playful grin on her face. She was clearly very happy about this meal, it was also obvious Millie didn't get to have decent meals out like this often. Not everyone had plenty of spare money that their families were willing to throw around.

"Maybe I am high all of the time or maybe I'm really six. The world may never know."
"I like to think it's charming or annoying. Both could be beneficial."
"How is annoying even beneficial?"
"Those who find you being you annoying and leave you aren't worth keeping around, are they?"

"Thought you didn't do relationships anyway. So that doesn't even matter in context to yourself." Leon said in a very 'matter of fact tone' with a small amount of bitterness. "I guess that's why you are annoying as fuck. Nobody to scare off." He teased, thought the whole emotion seemed completely forced.

Well...

"How is your food? It sure looks nice." Beck turned to Elisa in a whisper. He had noticed her dicing up the food as if it needed to be thrown in a pan and cooked again as something new. It made him uncomfortable, but what could he even say?

"If I said what I really feel I'm pretty sure I would be removed from the restaurant."

Rebecca cackled and shook her head. "Pump your breaks, man. It's not that bigga deal." The tension growing in the air didn't go unnoticed by the girl though and she was pretty sure this was going to go somewhere she hadn't fully anticipated. He sounded so angry and she had just meant to make him jealous. She took a sip of her soda, narrowing her eyes on his over the brim of the cup.

"Thought you didn't do relationships anyway. So that doesn't even matter in context to yourself."
"I guess that's why you are annoying as fuck. Nobody to scare off."

And there it was. "No one was talking about those types relationships and you don't seem to mind me when I'm sucking your dick, but hey that's not my business." Rebecca retorted with an eye roll and while she acted like she couldn't give less of a fuck, she'd be lying if she said his words didn't sting like Hell. Still though, she didn't shrink away. It was as though she had squared her shoulders up even more, challenging him to go off again. As if she were saying 'Go ahead, prove my point.' She wasn't sure what point he'd be proving; that people weren't worth keeping around or if relationships weren't worth the trouble. Maybe both.

"How is your food? It sure looks nice."

Elisa took a small bite of her food and smiled at Beck, as though nothing at all were wrong. "It's great, wanna try?" She said, slightly more chipper than normal as she put more food on her fork and offered it to her clearly worried boyfriend. She wished he would stop paying attention, most people didn't notice if they didn't pay close attention because the motions looked normal. If you weren't watching her plate, nothing would seem out of the ordinary. She cut her food, she picked it up to eat it, she offered it to people who said it looked good...Who would question that, unless they were paying attention to the fact that she rarely took a bite herself? It was the reason she had avoided eating in front of Beck so many times.

When they were just friends at school, who met in the hallways...it had been so much easier. She could 'forget her lunch' and he had always been too distracted to care. She thought back to the school and how funny their friendship had been at first. Back then she was just a quiet girl who read way too many books and wore sweaters in the summer. He was just a flirt who threw his fists around too much. It felt like years ago and not just months.

How could so much change? She felt like an entirely different person than she had been all the time ago, but it wasn't for the better. She was falling apart and she couldn't help but feel selfish for having Beck hold her together.

Elisa shook the thoughts from her head and turned her attention to the awkwardness that had evolved in front of her with Bex and Leon, while Millie happily ate away at her food. Though she had a hard time believing the other girl could entirely ignore it. "So...uh...Millie this place is like super cute, right? It's so lucky she found it, huh Beck?" She said, though she wasn't entirely comfortable conversing with the red head, she thought it might dissolve some of the weird tension.

"Pump your breaks, man. It's not that bigga deal."

Leon lightly slammed his fist on the desk and rolled his eyes tutting. "To you it's not. Clearly." He said. He needed to stop. This was getting way too personal way too quickly. It was dumb. He wasn't even jealous anymore, he was pissed off at how it pleased her so much to wind him up and of course the only reason it would wind him up was due to having more intimate feelings.

"No one was talking about those types relationships and you don't seem to mind me when I'm sucking your dick, but hey that's not my business."

"Of course I don't mind." Leon said, letting out a rather nasty laugh as he pushed the tongue to the side of his cheek, almost as though he was trying to hold it there. "I thought that was the point Miss 'No strings attached!' Are you bothered by the fact I find you irritating? I thought the point was that it didn't matter as long as you are on my cock? That's what you are getting at anyway." He was constantly contradicting himself; morphing himself into an asshole as the conversation went on. It was like he was mocking Bex's ideology because she tried to stir a reaction from him.

Millie huffed and began to look distressed. "Guy's stoppp. It's the start of a nice holiday together and this isn't the way to begin it. Plus it's not exactly dinner conversation." She scolded in a soft manner but still had the courage to speak up about their odd tiff.

"It's great, wanna try?"

Beck hesitated for a second before leaning down and taking a small bite off the fork, leaving half the food remaining. He did a sarcastic anime girl sounding 'homph' sound as he took the bite and then smiled. "It is really nice." He praised, but then didn't know how to follow up. He wanted to encourage her to eat more but was not sure how he could go about it. He just hoped that she wanted to get better and was at least willing to try, not for him, but for herself.

"So...uh...Millie this place is like super cute, right? It's so lucky she found it, huh Beck?"

"Yeah um.." Millie tried her best to give an honest smile but jealousy always got the better of her and made her bitter. She tried her best to be civil, for Beck's sake. If he was happy then she would not be low enough to try and change that. "I don't have much to compare it to being honest. I don't get to eat out too often, but this place seems really cute. I'm sure we can find more nice places to eat and drink when we arrive. I'm so fucking excited. We ought to plan the things we want to do...to make sure we fit everything in."

"To you it's not. Clearly."

The sound of Leon's fist hitting the table gave Rebecca a start and she visibly jumped, staring at him in disbelief. "I thought we were on the same page." She said, expressing her disappointment with a frown. It was obvious that she was fuming by that point. Bex had simply wanted to make him a little jealous, not piss him the fuck off. In fact, up until now she had convinced herself that he was okay with hooking up and nothing else.

"I thought that was the point Miss 'No strings attached!' Are you bothered by the fact I find you irritating? I thought the point was that it didn't matter as long as you are on my cock? That's what you are getting at anyway."

"I don't think that I'm the one with the problem here." She said, rolling her eyes in a blase manner, though it was clear that she was getting angry and caring far too much. "I was having a perfectly fun time until you went and got all pissy about it."

"Guy's stoppp. It's the start of a nice holiday together and this isn't the way to begin it. Plus it's not exactly dinner conversation."

"Yeah, you're right. I think we should definitely stop." Rebecca said, emphasizing the word 'stop' as she stared Leon dead in the face. As it often was with her, she wasn't sure what she was actually trying to say. Stop bickering or stop their...agreement altogether. She knew she couldn't give him more than sex, but at the same time she wanted to make him jealous, tease him, and have him all to herself. It's not worth it. Rebecca told herself over and over, honestly feeling like she didn't deserve it anyhow. She was a fucktoy and that was all she would make herself available to be.

Elisa was flabbergasted that Bex and Leon's conversation was happening at all, let alone in public. "I'm pretty sure the whole restaurant doesn't want to know about your sex life...just saying, maybe you could wait till you're alone to finish that discussion?"

"Well, I mean, I don't wanna talk about it anyways." Bex responded to her friend rather sharply, standing up and grabbing her purse and walking towards the back of the restaurant. "I gotta go to the bathroom."

Elisa clicked her tongue against her teeth and shook her head as her friend disappeared. "Oh man, she's like pissed." She said, nibble on a small piece of chicken.

"I don't have much to compare it to being honest. I don't get to eat out too often, but this place seems really cute. I'm sure we can find more nice places to eat and drink when we arrive. I'm so fucking excited. We ought to plan the things we want to do...to make sure we fit everything in."

It was kind of funny and cute, watching the red head get excited about something that Elisa had done a thousand times in her life. She knew that the girl didn't have near as much money at her disposal, but sometimes it was still shocking that trips and frequent vacations weren't something everyone experienced. "Just wait till we get where we're going. It's adorable. Totally different than where we live and the people are great too. The culture on the coast is different than the city. So much different." Elisa said with a smile, though there was clearly some lingering awkwardness in her tone. It didn't help that now her normally-better-at-socializing friend had walked away to do lord knows what in the bathroom.

"It's a little hipster though, Beck. You might want to be careful or the locals might try and turn you into one of them." She teased her boyfriend, nudging him in the side. "There's a couple of aquariums that are really cool to go to, art galleries too - though they're more modern art exhibits than anything else...And there's tons of performance art."

"I thought we were on the same page."
"I don't think that I'm the one with the problem here."
"I was having a perfectly fun time until you went and got all pissy about it."

Leon let out a snarl that was not that far away from that of a feral animal. "We ARE on the same page!" He lied, heart hammering fast in his chest. "Maybe I just don't like being made into a joke. If you didn't try to piss me off, maybe I wouldn't be so pissed off." He hissed before visibly trying to cool his own temper.

"Yeah, you're right. I think we should definitely stop."
"I'm pretty sure the whole restaurant doesn't want to know about your sex life...just saying, maybe you could wait till you're alone to finish that discussion?"
"Well, I mean, I don't wanna talk about it anyways."

"I'm done! I'm finished!" Leon said, almost sarcastically holding his hands up to surrender. He had one of those cruel icy smiles on his face that people displayed when they thought the conversation wasn't worthy of them. It was clear that Leon had another side to him that rarely got shown.

"I gotta go to the bathroom."
"Oh man, she's like pissed."

The brunette rolled his eyes. "Good. She now knows how I feel." He said before falling silent for atleast a while. All he could think about was how much he needed a drink, but of course that wasn't an option due to him being their driver. Leon wouldn't ever trust Beck with his lovely car.

"Just wait till we get where we're going. It's adorable. Totally different than where we live and the people are great too. The culture on the coast is different than the city. So much different."

"I hate modern art." Beck replied simply, seemingly sulking about the area's choice of creative expression. Millie chuckled lightly, actually legitimately comfortable and happy in their company. "I'm really looking forward to it. It will be fun to spend some time with you guys..."

"Oh god look at that. She's getting all pally with you so you will say yeah to a nice threesome. That way she gets at least a little bit of Beck." Leon said in a bitter tone while glaring over in Elisa's direction. Millie and Beck were god smacked, both holding the same distraught facial expression with their mouths hung open. Millie quickly got up to leave, clearly rather hurt. "You ruin everything! Just cause things aren't going your way doesn't mean you have to try and bring other people down too. Since you now have royally pissed off me and Bex, how about I do you a favour and remove a few of your ribs so you can suck your own dick tonight?" With that, she headed towards the bathroom; she wanted to check that Bex was alright and also needed space to cool down.

"Good. She now knows how I feel."

"I'm pretty sure we all do now." Elisa mumbled in defense of her friend, it was barely audible but her eye roll was evident. She was pretty sure that this was not a great way to start their trip, but on the other hand she was glad it wasn't her and Millie going at it. Somehow, it was them that managed to keep it together like adults.

"I hate modern art."

Elisa looked at Beck and smiled. "There's more than to it than Jackson Pollack and Shia Labeouf's 'Just do it' video. I kind of like it." She said in response. She got that sometimes it was a little an abstract and weird at times, but more often than not she found things in it that she really resonated with. To her they weren't boring or cookie cutter and gave you things to look at and think about. It was one of her favorite things about going to the beach.

"Besides, some of it's just funny to look at anyways." She tacked on, leaning on Beck as if she were trying to convince him to see it with her, but also she was cold and he was warm and her sweater just wasn't doing the trick for her.

"Oh god look at that. She's getting all pally with you so you will say yeah to a nice threesome. That way she gets at least a little bit of Beck."

"You ruin everything! Just cause things aren't going your way doesn't mean you have to try and bring other people down too. Since you now have royally pissed off me and Bex, how about I do you a favour and remove a few of your ribs so you can suck your own dick tonight?"

"I...uh...I think I also suddenly have to use the restroom." Elisa said, visibly uncomfortable with the situation and looking for an excuse to get out of eating anyway. The few bites she had taken had left her feeling sick and fat. She stood from her chair and kissed Beck on the cheek as she turned to follow after Millie. Maybe the boys could talk it out on their own, but she surely was not going to sit in on a conversation of that particular nature. Even though Bex would probably kick her for it later, as eavesdropping always made for good gossip especially when that gossip was about them.

---

Rebecca hadn't intended for anyone to follow her, as even Elisa was pretty good about knowing when she wanted to be alone. The situation with Leon had made her a tiny bit anxious...or a lot anxious. She began counting her heartbeats, rapid and irregular, as she sat cross legged on the counter of the bathroom. When counting didn't work, she began to dig through her purse looking for the pill bottle that would save her. She hated taken them and often traded them out at parties for different drugs. It didn't take much to find the bottle and she dumped three pills out into her hand, which had begun shaking just like the rest of her. Instead of popping them into her mouth, knowing that that would take too long, she crushed and cut them with her credit card and made little lines. Snorting just helped it work a little faster than it normally would and she simply didn't care if anyone saw her do it.

Getting yelled at or into a heated argument with a man sent her into a spiral that she couldn't control. Bex hated it about herself and hated that she didn't have any control over it. It made her feel weak and she had promised herself a long time ago that weak was something she would never be again. "This is so fucking stupid." She groaned, rolling up a dollar bill and breathing up each blue line with ease. The relief that accompanied the burning in her nostrils was well worth it.

She couldn't wrap her mind around why Leon got so angry. They had agreed that they were just sleeping together. So why were they suddenly arguing about it? Why was he so upset? She frowned, leaning her back against the mirror and thinking up question after question. It was interrupted when the bathroom door opened up to show a red head and her best friend. "Oh hey, come to join my party?" She said with her foxy grin.

Beck chuckled softly and cuddled into Elisa more as she kept pulling him towards her. The sight was rather heart warming. "You really are hipster trash. It's getting worse and worse this weird disease of yours. Or maybe I just didn't realise until I have started dating you? I made a mistake. Ewewewe hipster." He continued to tease in a playful manner. This joke was getting a little old now but they all new he was going to drag it out forever if he could.

"I...uh...I think I also suddenly have to use the restroom."

The blonde had noted that this was going to stunt Elisa's intake of food due to the strain on her emotionally and the physical excuse to get away. This pissed him off much more than what Leon had said alone. After the brunette had left he turned to his friend and snarled under his breath; he appeared a little bit too serious than what was usual for him. "You know if you weren't.. you, I would have smashed your head into that wall behind you repeatedly." Beck threatened, but it didn't seem to phrase Leon too much, he just kind of forced a small smile and refused to apologise. "I know I got carried away." He explained but that was already rather obvious.

---

Millie rushed into the bathroom feeling a lump in her throat quickly form. It wasn't as though she had experienced something traumatic to trigger her in such a way or that she mentally couldn't cope with situations like that, she was just a little sensitive and didn't like arguments, especially when it came with a side dish of involving Beck.

"This is so fucking stupid."

The red head was just about to call out to Bex when she heard her small voice coming from a stall near by. She didn't want to be impolite and so just waited for a while and brought together her thoughts on the small argument that just occurred. She had never seen Leon be so dramatic and pathetic before, he was usually always the cool headed and collected one. She found it to be his only likeable trait and now he had destroyed persona that as well. Millie rested her hand on the door just about to attempt to push it open when...

"Oh hey, come to join my party?"

She was clearly in quite a state even though it was unlikely she would have admitted it. Millie wished she new how to comfort her but was not exactly sure how to go about it. She didn't seem to catch on that her friend had been doing drugs while alone. "He's being an asshole. He will probably calm down later. Though I can't really predict anything since I haven't ever seen him act like that before. It's awfully out of character." Millie explained with a sharp exhale of air. "He just verbally attacked me as well so it looks like this petty act isn't even personal to you anymore. If he spoils this trip I'll snap. I will."

"He's being an asshole. He will probably calm down later. Though I can't really predict anything since I haven't ever seen him act like that before. It's awfully out of character."

"I tend to bring out the worst in people. Call it my special talent." Rebecca quipped, moving to the mirror to fix her make up. Her concealer had creased slightly from the stress and her eyeliner had run a bit, but it was nothing that she couldn't fix with a compact. Her nerves were still getting to her, despite the meds and it was obvious from her still trembling hands. It was difficult to keep of the facade of not giving a fuck, when your brain is sending signals to your body to freak out.

"He just verbally attacked me as well so it looks like this petty act isn't even personal to you anymore. If he spoils this trip I'll snap. I will."

She turned her head to face Millie once she had properly fixed her face and shook her head. "Man, he was so lit. Like what the hell? Sorry I pissed him off enough to go after you too. That's not cool." She was clearly distraught at the idea of his anger being turned towards anyone else. After all, she had been that one that played the bitch, not Millie. Millie hadn't done anything but get excited about going on a trip, she didn't deserve to get yelled at.

"If this trip doesn't go so well, Elisa and I will just have to take you on an all girls vacation. Stupid boys not allowed." By that point, Rebecca had noticed her best friend standing in front of the bathroom door, studying her pretty closely. "God, you're such a creep." She accused, though she was clearly teasing.

"And you're snorting pills in a bathroom. Are you okay?" Elisa motioned to the credit card, haphazardly thrown on the bathroom counter, and it very clearly had a powdery residue on it.

"Oh my god, no one but you would even notice that. See what I gotta deal with, Red?" Bex brushed off her friends concern with a practiced smile.

"It's not like you tried to hide it." The green eyed girl replied with a shrug. "But, really. Are you okay?"

Rebecca shrugged, not willing to answer but not willing to lie either. Besides, the pills had mellowed her out enough that she didn't particularly care. "It's whatever."

"So do you think they're chatting or sitting in awkward silence out there? Beck wasn't happy." Elisa said, knowing that it was time to change the subject, as she turned to Millie - doing her best to include the girl, despite her previous resentment for her. She had noticed Beck's face as she left for the bathroom and it all but screamed that he was pissed off.

Despite the circumstances, Elisa found it rather nice to be gossiping in a bathroom as though things were totally normal. They were just three girls in the bathroom, talking shit about a boyfriend - or whatever. There was nothing about gangs or murderous exes. Even if things were tense with Leon's outburst, there was the relief that no one was going to come after them looking for blood.

"I tend to bring out the worst in people. Call it my special talent."

Millie noticed Bex's shaking hands but just presumed it was down to the stress of the situation rather than anything else causing it. Even as a medical student she didn't know. Even when running along side the gang she didn't know. The only thing the paid attention to when referring to drugs were how useful some of them could be, even if it was bending the rules a little.

"Man, he was so lit. Like what the hell? Sorry I pissed him off enough to go after you too. That's not cool."
"If this trip doesn't go so well, Elisa and I will just have to take you on an all girls vacation. Stupid boys not allowed."

The red head found herself smiling widely. Sure she had pulled a bitch move. Sure she had jabbed at some of his buttons. She did however have a heart of gold and no bad intentions. "He lost it, not you." Millie supported her before lighting up at the idea of a girls holiday. She thought tensions would be high between the three of them considering the odd love triangle and bitter past behaviours, but things seemed pretty good, until Leon had snapped. "That sounds super fun. It would be more fun if we were all single and tried to get as many free drinks as possible...I guess we could still do that now." She chuckled, imagining it turning into a dodgy competition between the three of them at some point.

"God, you're such a creep."
"And you're snorting pills in a bathroom. Are you okay?"
"Oh my god, no one but you would even notice that. See what I gotta deal with, Red?"
"It's not like you tried to hide it."
"But, really. Are you okay?"

Millie's body language completely changed as Elisa moved on the scene. It was kind of awkward considering what had happened. Still she tried to relax and keep her cool. She was suprised when informed of Bex doing drugs in the bathroom. "What did you take?" Millie asked curiously, with a hint of worry in her voice. She had a feeling she would spend a lot of time being extremely paranoid about their healths if she began to get close with the pair; they clearly didn't care what they were doing to their bodies. "She cares about you. It's nice she's worried." The redhead praised.

"So do you think they're chatting or sitting in awkward silence out there? Beck wasn't happy."

"As much as I'd like to presume that Beck has gone mental at him I'm not really sure. The pair have been partn..friends for a while now." She told them, stumbling over her words a little. Partners was not the best phrase to use. It sounded businessy which was what they used to be all about, and in some cases still were but there were still much they didn't know, and didn't ever need to know. Elisa's new the basics, but not much about the past and Bex seemed to be blissfully ignoring all the warning signs. "I don't know if they could truly yell at each other but Leon has definitely pushed his luck now, especially after that.." She said turning to Elisa.

"Sorry...by the way." Millie told her in a small voice but she didn't really know what she was apologising for. Sorry he said that? Sorry you got stressed out? Sorry for the way we argued before? Sorry I'm madly in love with your boyfriend?

"He lost it, not you."

Rebecca laughed. "Sounds like a plan. I hope you're prepare to get absolutely shit faced when it happens. Getting things for free also happens to be a forte of mine." She smiled wide and winked.

"What did you take?"

"Why, are you looking to party? I've almost got a pharmacy in my purse if that's what you want." Bex teased, cleaning off the counter she had previously made a mess of and haphazardly shoving her credit card into her purse. "I'm kidding, unless you actually want a few. I just took a Xanax or five. They're prescription. Nothing nefarious has occurred."

The dark haired girl was always so blase about everything, it was hard to believe she was so heavily guarded; a million concrete walls were holding her back.

"As much as I'd like to presume that Beck has gone mental at him I'm not really sure. The pair have been partn..friends for a while now."

Elisa gave another half smile. "So does that mean we're okay to go back out without incident? A giant sex fight was really not how I envisioned this trip starting." She said with nervous laughter in her throat. She felt so awkward around Millie, especially now that Bex was around and they seemed to get along so well. It's not that she wanted to be at the red head's throat or in a permanent state of resentment, but it was difficult to get around the obvious feelings the girl had for Beck and the fact that they had slept together previously.

"Sorry...by the way."

"Me too." She quietly responded, having a hard time making eye contact. Sorry for saying you looked like a sausage. Sorry I'm not good enough for Beck. Sorry I took him from you, but please don't try and take him back. It was hard for Elisa to decide if she was really sorry or if she was ready to bury the hatchet, when she still felt so completely threatened and useless. However, she did know that she needed to make this trip as stress free as possible and ignoring Millie wasn't going to ease tension.

"Okay, well now that you're little powwow is over, I'm leaving this bathroom. It smells like garlic and I really want at least one more slice of pizza." Becca interrupted with a wave of her hand as she opened the bathroom door and made her way back to the table.

Elisa however, didn't follow suit and instead grabbed hold of Millie's wrist with a cool hand to stop her from leaving as well. "I don't want this to come off wrong and I probably shouldn't worry because knowing her it won't last long." She said, her eyes filled with concern as she stared at the girl who was supposed to be her enemy. "But Leon won't...I mean...He wouldn't hit a girl would he? Bex...She's been through Hell."

Rebecca would kill her if she found out that Elisa was discussing something so private with Millie, but the outburst at the table had left her concerned enough to ask. Asking girl to girl was far different than asking Beck, her boyfriend and best friend to the man in question. Maybe it was her maternal side coming on a little strong, but she occasionally worried about the men Bex chose to spend her time with and knowing that Leon was affiliated with a gang - no matter how hypocritical it might have been - set alarms off in her brain.

Elisa hadn't been as close with Rebecca when shit hit the fan, they hadn't even officially met and had only run in similar circles with the occasional hello being said. It wasn't until afterwards that they had decided to pick up each others pieces and hold them together with a thousand vices. "She's the closest thing I have to a sister." A real sister, not her daughter, though the instinct to worry and protect was quite similar.

----

Rebecca had noticed that the girls hadn't immediately followed, but she couldn't quite find herself to care about anything. Her head was floating and she was in a much better mood when she sat back down at the table with the two boys, a lazy grin on her face. "Well that was super exciting. Did you guys have fun while I was away? The other two should be back soon. I think they got lost." She giggled.

"Sounds like a plan. I hope you're prepare to get absolutely shit faced when it happens. Getting things for free also happens to be a forte of mine."

"It's on bitch." Millie said with the biggest devilish grin she had ever worn before. She knew that it would end up extremely competitive but she had always been good at catching male attention, but then again it seemed like Bex was the same. Elisa however seemed to dislike the spot light, but she had heard what she was like when she had snuck away from Beck to attend a party before coming home in such a horrible state. She clearly wasn't the type to be innocent and spend the night at home.

"Why, are you looking to party? I've almost got a pharmacy in my purse if that's what you want."
"I'm kidding, unless you actually want a few. I just took a Xanax or five. They're prescription. Nothing nefarious has occurred."

The redhead exhaled, as much as the quantity wasn't good, she could have taken things much worse. "You are going to feel shit later. It makes you so out of it and groggy." Millie scolded. One of the main reasons she had never got into any kind of drugs, only sometimes smoking weed casually was because she had become a bit of a hypochondriac, but of course when you had it hammered into your head most days at college. She had another good few reasons too, but they were complicated and private.

"So does that mean we're okay to go back out without incident? A giant sex fight was really not how I envisioned this trip starting."
"Me too."

Millie was surprised at her response. She had been oddly civil with her since they began to even talk about thee trip, it was hard to think that before that they were basically giving one and other death threats. When she thought back upon it she realised how harsh some of her words had been, but she also remembered how spiteful the brunette was. "I..I think this will be swept under the rug really." She told the pair.

"Okay, well now that you're little powwow is over, I'm leaving this bathroom. It smells like garlic and I really want at least one more slice of pizza."

"I'm kinda hungry t-..."

She halted, feeling Elisa's small hand grabbing at her wrist to stop her from leaving. Millie instantly became very nervous and her heart hammered in her chest. Surely she was going to confront her about her feelings for Beck? What would she even say? "Hm?..." The girl said, politely turning to face her though her expression was clearly uncomfortable.

"I don't want this to come off wrong and I probably shouldn't worry because knowing her it won't last long."
"But Leon won't...I mean...He wouldn't hit a girl would he? Bex...She's been through Hell."

"Oh?.." Millie sounded surprised for two reasons: one because it wasn't anything to do with Beck and two because it was such a depressing and scary topic. She shook her head but at the same time she didn't look too pleased. "No no...he wouldn't hit her. I promise. He's normally pretty cool tempered, but I guess today proves there is a first for everything. He has too much honour to ever beat someone who wouldn't fight back properly anyway, and plus he's a good fella. Morals a little twisted but I'm sure we all have things we aren't proud of." She told her, voice honest and serious.

"However...I still don't think she should be getting close to him. You of all people know what it's like. You got dragged into this...and being honest Elisa you don't know half of it..." The redhead lowered her head, clearly wanting to express more but she wasn't really sure if she should elaborate. "Leon's done some pretty fucked up stuff and it's not really healthy for anyone to get involved with him. Of course you could say the same about Beck and you know what risks you have to live avoiding now, I guess that's more a personal situation but still, if you really want Bex to properly partner up with someone and be happy, he's not that guy."

"I think we should have a chat some other time. I think you should also talk to Bex about what's going on behind the scenes. It's only fair."

"You all right Rebecca? Foods still luke warm if you wanna eat up." Beck said to her, greeting her with a put on smile. Clearly he had been scolding Leon for a while as he was very much seeming down and keeping to himself. The blonde had caught on that Bex had probably taken something in the bathroom; he appeared rather worried but seemed to go about it sensitively.

"Tell trying Becca no and she'll continue to do it or amp it up just to piss you off. It's best to just let it die out. It always does. She's just playing games with him right now and soon she'll get bored of it and leave him anyway. I just had to make sure that she'd be okay while she fucking around with him." Elisa responded to Millie's concern and though she tried not to show it, unease set throughout her. It had seemed that Bex was trying to get under Leon's skin a little more than she had with others and Elisa was trying to figure out if that meant anything or not. She sighed, running a hand through her brown strands of hair and flipping her part to the opposite side.

She wanted to ask Millie more questions, about what she had meant the horrible things Leon had done...and Beck, but she knew they had already lingered in the bathroom a little too long.

"I think we should have a chat some other time. I think you should also talk to Bex about what's going on behind the scenes. It's only fair."

"If she ever needs to know, I'll tell her, but until then it's pointless." She opened the door to the bathroom and made her exit, but not before holding the door open for the red head.

"You all right Rebecca? Foods still luke warm if you wanna eat up."

"I can't say no to food." Rebecca expressed, popping a cherry tomato in her mouth and smiling. "I'm destined to be obese, but until then I have a metabolism and youth on my side."

Her blue eyes flicked over to Leon, who hadn't even acknowledged her existence at the table yet, but she guessed that was to be expected. Of course, she would never admit that it bothered her when normally she wouldn't bring herself to care. The snarky girl, who was obviously less hyper than usual and her eyes were hooded with drowsiness. Still, she was calm and her heart rate had slowed down. Most days, she preferred to go up with her highs rather than down. It was why coke had always been her go-to, drug of choice. However, sometimes the pills were necessary and she took them in much higher dosages than she knew she should. There was something comforting, knowing that all of the events that took place would feel like a foggy dream the next day.

A moment later she noticed the other girls walking towards the table, Elisa looking particularly grim and deep in thought. What had those girls been talking about? Everyone seemed to be in on something that she wasn't. She knew it was bad, she had gotten that vibe the day Leon had asked her to check on Elisa, she just didn't know what. Either way she didn't care what it was, other than being nosy. After all, it'd just be another tale in her marvelous misadventurous life. "Oh look, they're done burying their hatchets or whatever the saying is." She said, though she had already turned her attention from the girls to a napkin that she was contentedly doodling on with a pen she had found in her purse.

Elisa took her seat next to Beck, rolling her eyes at her friend though she smiled. There was still some tension in the air and Leon looked particularly sulky. She leaned in to her boyfriend and pressed her lips to his cheek, just as she had done when she had gotten up to leave. It felt like she just couldn't get enough physical contact, no matter how much she clung to him. Whether it was from lack of intimacy or her fear of the entire situation with Malachai and the gang, she wasn't sure. "You weren't too mean were you? We've still got a week to go through and not everyone can hate each other." She whispered to him, with a teasing laugh.

Mille took note of Elisa's coldness with her and tried her best to just brush it from her shoulder. In a way the redhead also felt bad for Leon, of course she knew for a while that Bex was just toying with him and to be fair she had made that very clear to start with, but it was hurting him and he obviously ached for more. She related to that. That was exactly how her and Beck used to be, but he'd never stay the night and she was never 'his kind of girl'.

"Oh look, they're done burying their hatchets or whatever the saying is."

Millie shifted uncomfortably before taking her seat. That was not exactly what she would have called that little chat. She felt like she needed a drink, or a few. It had a rather strong effect on her and she was almost not the same person when drunk. It also meant she lacked control over what she said or did, but still it was better than feeling like this.

Leon was also thinking the same thing. He couldn't wait to get back on the road and arrive, maybe have a little quiet time with himself and a few beers. After all he didn't exactly favour any company at the moment. He finished off his meal, tipped his drink down his throat and stood up. "I'm heading to the car. Just come by when you are done." The man told them in a monotone voice before promptly leaving. For a while he stood outside his vehicle, puffing generously at a cigarette and staring into space.

Beck needed that kiss from Elisa, it was a little bit of warmth in the icy tension. The blonde couldn't help but let his lips form a large smile. Part of him just couldn't wait till night time just so they could slept beside each other, soaking up intimacy and comfort.

"You weren't too mean were you? We've still got a week to go through and not everyone can hate each other."

"I said what I needed to. I think it's still sinking into that thick skull of his though." Beck sighed, rubbing his brow as though he had a headache. The youth took another bite out of his baguette. "You guys should finish up, we might not eat again for a fair while." He told them, though of course this was passively directed towards Elisa who had not satisfied him with the amount she had consumed.

The drive had turned into a much quieter one than it had been before the dinner. Bex was no longer making up games and loudly singing along to the radio: instead she had headphones plugged into her cell and had pulled a notebook full of staff paper from her bag, which she would occasionally jot down a note or two on. She was intensely focused on her music and it looked like she was composing - or rather, editing something she had already composed. She kept switching back and forth between sheets of music that had different instruments written in the corner. Whatever she was doing, she was clearly keeping herself distracted and the only time she dared to look up was when she rolled down the window to smoke a cigarette.

Elisa, on the other hand, had become slightly more lively and was no longer using the car ride as an opportunity to nap. She let out a contented sigh and looked over at Beck. "So what's this place like that we'll be staying at? Is it just a hotel? A beach house? Aaaah, I can't believe you've never been. It's so much fun." She rambled, poking at his side. She wasn't sure how to acknowledge everyone else in the car. After all, half of the crew she didn't quite care for and she was positive they didn't like her much either. Not that it bothered her, but it made the trip a little extra difficult.

Everyone was so completely different, with a different set of issues and different personalities and interests, yet they had decided to take a trip together. Part of Elisa told her that this was a huge mistake and that they should just turn around, but she desperately needed away from her house and to be with Beck.

"She wants to know if you'll have a room to yourself." Bex pipped up with a smirk, though she didn't look up from her paper.

"You're a perv. Go back to whatever you're doing." Elisa said rolling her eyes as if she were annoyed, but her laughed proved that she wasn't.

"Call it like I see it." Her friend replied, chuckling.

Elisa did wonder though, how the rooming situation would work out, not even particularly for her and Beck's sake. Was their four rooms? Would Millie and Bex share a room now that Leon and her were fighting? Was their rooms at all or was it simply one hotel room? She had never gone on a trip that she didn't have some knowledge of where they were staying. In fact, even for her family trips she often did the planning herself. It was something she liked to have control over and she had found herself to be particularly good at it the last couple of years.

"I can't wait to go shopping. Beach cities always have the best shopping." At this point Elisa was thinking out loud more than anything else. She started thinking of antique stores and record shops, stupid nerdy things that she took interest in over clothing and makeup.
