Jason had not moved since Catalyst agreed to consume Sadisuto. He stood there trembling. His massive body shivering in pain. The all encompassing sensations of pain, pleasure, desire, fear, hatred, ecstasy had all washed over Jason in waves leaving him feeling hollow and wanting yet his mind was a different story all together. His mind was a cacophony of voices all whispering or shouting to him at once. Some whispered at him and beckoned for him in what sound like Catalyst's voice. In a cooing almost seductive tone. Then there was Sadisuto's maddening, giggling, voice. Erratic and chaotic as it babbled nonsense at him incessantly. For years Sadisutos had been something the shifter had gotten used to. It had become nothing more than a low muttering in the dark recesses of his mind unless he found himself questioning that bond yet now it screamed maniacally at him to listen to him above all others. Jason fell to his knees, his jaw clenched in pain as he snarled in agony.

"Get out...."

He muttered through grinding teeth. He put his hands to his head covering his ears in a feeble attempt the muffle the sounds coming from inside his own mind.

"Leave me alone..."

He stammered, his own voice barely audible. In the past Jason had been shot, burned, stabbed, boiled in oil, choked, drowned, beaten, hit with explosives on several occasions, run over, dropped from moving air crafts yet this pain was more intense than any and all put together. His entire massive frame shuddered in pain as he struggled to keep his mind intact while it threatened to shatter under the strain of the maddening chorus from within. Finally Jason threw his head back and let loose a mighty roar. In that moment he let go of everything. All the pent up rage, and emotion that had been held back for so long. The roar was an ancient one that had power in the sound. The roar consumed all other noise and chased out the voices leaving only the pure, blissful release of silence. The black ichor that had changed Jason's appearance melted away and scurried back to its master while Jason basked in the solace he had won for himself. No Cataylst, No Sadisuto. No voice but his own. The shackles in his mind were gone and for the first time in a long time, the beast was free.
