In an hour, life suddenly stopped...As sudden as a storm, it came and went just as fast destroying the world everyone once knew...

Captain Xzavior, Ironclad Captain

The event that had destroyed the surface of the world, where the earth ripped apart, cracked and burned. Where the skies themselves rained destruction upon the surface. It went by many names, however this cataclysmic event had one thing which bound all these names together. It marked the end of the surface of the world, and would have marked the very destruction of nearly all life on the planet had it not been for the tenacious and quick minded inventors of this time.

Known as the Three founding fathers of mankind, the world was not as horrible as it was now. Cities flourished with life, people went on their day to day activities. The smell of steam and gas filled the air as flying contraptions made their way through the skies, the dream of flight above the skies was becoming a dream made possible by the three fathers of invention.

Isaiah Wynn, the inventor of steam powered engines and technology. Known for his creation of walking automatons, the automated workforce of the human race. Although he personally called them the 'Bolt Buckets', with so many different models for every situation everyone have their own version of the name. As such, Isaiah was known as the father of the steam.

Freddie Hopkins, Inventor of gas powered inventions, similar to Isiah. His inventions also touched on robotics, however he focused primarily on more combat oriented machines. From a mad idea of massive floating fortresses, Bolt Buckets remade for guard duty, and even weapons. He was known for his insane yet creative ideas. Although they worked, he was always seen as the mad one of the three fathers. However he was known as the father of the diesel.

And finally, Sam Jenkins. Known throughout as a man of insanity. Attempting to extract the life essence of simple materiel for magic. Many thought he was insane, however years upon years of honing his craft, he had created a device used today known at the Mk. IV Pattern, Magi-glove. A device that can take the essence that makes up a certain material to then use its elemental properties. To being able to create fireballs in the very palm of your hand. He had managed to create magi-tech, which with his invention allowed even simple machines gain great power through the use of elements. As such he was the father of the magi-tech.

And it was thanks to these three figures in human history which saved the future of the human race. One day, whether it be from a pre-determined destruction date, the planet getting revenge off the greed of life above, god deciding to rain down his wrath or simply bad luck. Whatever the case, as the lands cracked apart, waters in the sea turning into lava, fissures creating massive canyons where cities once stood. Thanks to the combined efforts of the three, they had managed to due to the insanity of Father Freddie building his 'sky forts' in secrecy, combined with the power of the steam powered engines and Magi-tech systems, massive cities freed itself from the planet below them as mankind set sail above the clouds to accomplish a dream they once had, and to save their whole species.

200 years later

Mankind now thrives above the clouds, statues of the three founding fathers of technology was constructed to commemorate their brave acts of saving humanity. Farms grow well getting plenty of sunlight, animals saved from below are raised on floating isles dedicated to ranchers, steam powered or diesel powered ships float across the skies. Mankind has been thriving well, especially with people learning how to renew resources and work together. However, despite best efforts there is one major problem for this generation.

They are running out of fuel for the floating cities, Steam, Fuel and elemental energy has been running low. And of course trees don't grow on clouds. Despite a law that was enacted generations ago to prevent anyone from going below the clouds, it was high time that humanity go back down to where they once came from. The land below the clouds after many generations.



The lands below were changed, fissures scar the earth, waterfalls and magma falls scatted all around. Nature has overgrown whatever remained of ancient human civilization. It looked quit, almost untouched. But beneath this surface, new life had already lay claim to the surface. And it was only a matter of time until mankind encountered new danger. Are you ready to be the pioneer from the skies?...Or are you something...That lived down below while the humans lived in safety in the skies?...
