“Lights.” Her voice was accompanied by a flash of white on the stage behind them, expected by the cyberkinetic as she grinned at the system that followed her every command on her laptop. With a turn of her head, she gave the keys one last tap before focusing her gaze on the lights that now shone with a bright white compared to the faint chaotic swirl of colors from Haydn’s fire. “Alright… Let’s see what I can do.” A faint chuckle escaped her throat as the lights flickered in response to her gaze, turning from the original white to a faint blue before darkening to a sky blue. The lights behind them flashed on, the tint sea green, mixing with the blue lights to creates waves of colors that resembled the light seen from under the ocean.

“That. That is why I’m the irreplaceable genius.” Skye’s gaze was definitely playful, her eyes turning back to the screen of her laptop as the screen typed out each letter with simple maneuvering of her mind and focus. Welcome back, Skye. Giving the laptop a wink, she blew a mocking kiss at the screen, so different to her irritation shown minutes ago at the system that sought such work and dedication from her.

“Hey Skye, is there a reason that woman probably wants to murder you with her eyes?” The screen of her laptop quickly faded to black as the voice caught her attention, her eyes flickering toward the new addition to the bar counter. The lights above her head shone with a brighter beam than ever at her sudden diversion. Woman..? Right! She had completely forgotten about the woman that now diverted her gaze away from the cyberkinetic. However, truly she could have cared less for the woman who seemingly decided to dislike her at first glance. “Perhaps my genius atmosphere is affecting her,” She grinned at her co-worker, one in which she has taken quite a liking to, simply because he did not join the chaotic freak show they claimed to be the crew of the theatre – given that she denies that she is a part of the freak show herself.

Anyway, why are you out here with your laptop? I figured with all the liquids, you’d be afraid of spills or, worst case scenario, vomit.” She gave him a disapproving gaze as he took a seat next to her, mouthing something along the lines of “my corner” as she turned her gaze back to her laptop, the screen now dark from her sudden distraction. “What is this? Question Skye day?” Nonetheless, she was in a rather jolly mood at her success with her laptop that she was ready to eat for dinner a few minutes ago and thus gave Don a slightly reluctant smile at his presence within her proximity of comfort. “Besides, if anyone spills anything or… Vomit,” She had to stifle a small laughter at the thought of the horror show, “I’ll make sure to cut off the electricity inside their house.” She has attempted such a feat before. Often, humans do not realize how terrifying the current lifestyle becomes without the use of electricity. Although she would probably go into one of her panic attacks at such a situation, she had no qualms about using it on others. “Hey Jack. How is everything going tonight?” Another laughter was stifled by the girl at the question directed toward the bartender, shaking her head slightly and giving an unconscious glance at the woman who had previously given her an unappreciated glance moments ago. “Oh, don’t ask.” She wasn’t exactly sure what was going on, given that her attention was always so focused on her laptop, but she had a feeling Jack would not be comfortable answering that question, especially given her little tease a few seconds ago.

“Hello, Mr. Snappy. I’ve got my job done. Ready for a light show?” And with that, the lightened screen of her cell phone beside her hand flashed with acknowledgement of her words. A small tap of her fingers pushed the message through the labyrinth of radio waves toward her impatient co-worker. One more snap of her fingers, and her brown eyes reflected the stage that suddenly beamed with flickering lights which twirled and danced, waves and streams of light surged around the crowded theatre.
