Vers was patiently listening to their conversation. The demeanor of the group was far different than what he had expected, to say the least.
"Laziest alliance until they kick ass?" Sounds like my kind of people.
"Well, it's nice to meet you. I'm Vers, inventor and holder of Craya. As for my questions," Vers said, pausing to look through the four or so sheets of paper he had with him.
"Ah, yes. Well, I've only got tw- no, wait, three big questions. One, can I be Promoted without winning the Competition? Two, if anything goes, can I just dig a hole and hide in it until there's only one person left? And finally, can I join your alliance?"

Upon seeing Seraye, Durnam was struck with his second blow of déjà vu today. First, the chime, and now this? The day was only getting more and more strange, and it was only the morning.
"Well, if you insist. I'm Durnam Andorae III. Tested. Holder of the Fyel Oress. There's some other stuff, but it doesn't really matter here."
