http://www.roleplaygateway.com/roleplay/liuena-academy the original liuena academy was created by polarisbear12, the cs, setting, even the opening layout were taken from the original. i made this because i loved the original and i want to enjoy it again.

Introduction

Welcome to Liuena Academy, It has been 20 years since Seagus's accident, and the death of Connor, follow the adventures of a new group of students at the academy. First and foremost the students are here to learn to control their powers in a safe environment. The students will study both defensive and offensive techniques for their magic as well as how to work together as a team, combat techniques like this are a new addition to the curriculum, added at the request of a former student who experienced the accident twenty years ago and wants to be sure today's youth are prepared to deal with similar catastrophe's. Just as they always have the students will occasionally take field trips to cities and towns in the human world, where and when is usually decided by a vote among the class.

[Just like Pol's original RP, I want to run a very open plot where the character's interaction drives the plot, if anyone has any interesting plot ideas throw them up in the OOC and we can all discuss if we like it together.]

The Magni
As a child, a Magni is taught to hone in their powers. They don't really gain their full powers until they reach teenage years. Powers have been learned, but not fully controlled, not until they reach adulthood, about the age of 27. No teen has perfectly mastered their powers; they still go bizarre on occasions. Some teens can't even fully use their powers yet. There are 8 basic power areas: wind, earth, water, ice, air, fire, shadow and light (more may be added). Magni have skills in one specific area, such as water or fire.*try not to use the same power area as another character so that way we can have more variety*

A Magni’s Demon
Every kid in Liuena Academy has a demon. Only those with magical abilities can see demons. The demons aren't bigger than their owners until they graduate high school. You demon must be smallish in size. Your demon can have skills in a specific area, such as shadow, fire, ice, wind or water. There are many other areas, but they are usually the same area of skill as their masters. Your demon can be humanoid in looks or more animal like. It can be totally unique or totally generic, it's up to you. Nothing is impossible, as long as they are smallish in size, they should be fine. If you can't find a picture, a good description is fine. Demons are with you since birth but often don’t show themselves until their magni are older, while others never appear to their Magni in their life time. Demons are like a Magni’s guardian, protecting them from otherworldly threats and to guide them on the right path. But because they are demons, they must go back to their own world every once and a while.*note all demons are uniquue to their Magni so they cant be passed down from person to person*

6) Keep Romance pg-13

Vergil Flanagan

Vergil was in class counting the seconds. He was once again angered at the academy, he and his brother's classes had been almost intentionally it seemed, arranged in such a way that the two did not get to see each other outside of their magical combat class, which was really more of a mandatory club than a class as it took place after classes. As he sat in class ignoring his teacher Vergil had a great idea and reached out to his brother sending him a message, "Leo, I know what we can do today that's gonna be really fun, but no time to tell you. Just sneak out of class, we need to talk. Meet me at the door to Dad's classroom in a few minutes.? Vergil didn't wait for his brother to respond he simply packed up the notebook that was filled with doodles and the beginnings of a few songs. "And where do you think your going?" A voice boomed from the front of the classroom, but Vergil paid him no mind, if the teacher cared he would give Vergil detention, but with today being the first day of combat class Vergil was fairly certain his dad would get him out of any trouble. Vergil continued out the door ignoring orders from the teacher to stop. Once he was outside he opened his back pack and poked River on the cheek as she opened her eyes he signed a message to her Hey, it's time to get up, we're gonna break into Dad's room and see what he has planned for today. Maybe leave him a "present" or something. River simply smiled and softly spoke in response " One of these days we're gonna get in some real trouble I hope you know that " Vergil just smiled and made his way to the classroom.

Kieran Flanagan

Kieran was sitting at his desk looking over the class roster, "Ugh, Nox I just don't know how to pair them up. I love the idea of duels to determine skill level but how do I make sure I don't accidentally pair them up unevenly, I don't want anyone to get face rolled or anything I want them to be fair fights but I don't know who knows what yet." Kieran exclaimed rather frustrated. "Why don't you have them fight as pairs. Two v two? That way even if one is stronger than the other's they can work together to overcome. Of course we don't know who works well together so we'll have to guess who's powers will have a solid synergy." Nox responded, more thinking aloud as idea came to life than actually replying. " Nox your genius. I love you buddy! " Kieran exclaimed as he started writing names on the board.

Vergil + Leonard vs. Skylar + Amargo
Weston + Eli vs. Luna + Solange

"There that's the best I can come up with, unfortunately that leaves one kid, Xenon, alone but his powers don't really mesh with anyone and as a weapon master putting him on any team would theoretically give them an advantage. I think this will work out best, He'll have a chance to duel another time after I have evaluated everyone." Kieran says and Nox simply nods in agreement. Suddenly Kieran hears the door rattle, someone is trying to break in, he and Nox immediately shifted into the shadows under the desk hiding from whoever was entering the room.

Vergil Flanagan

As Vergil arrived at the classroom he looked around and after noticing no one was there he picked the lock and entered the room. He look around and didn't see anyone so he smiled and started snooping arriving at the desk seeing the roster, covered in notes on the desk and turned around to see the black board. He saw the match ups and smiled. Fun we get to play together, at least one teacher here realized we can do good things together. He signed to Melody. With his main mission accomplished he sat down at a chair and waited for his brother. " Do you think Leo will take long to get here? " River asked, in response Vergil simply shook his head.

Solange Kagari

0600

Solange woke up thanks to the rather bright light that suddenly appeared directly in front of her eyes. She grunted roughly rolling trying to hide from the light beckoning her into waking up. "Yani just a few more minutes I don't wanna be awake yet." No answer just a brighter glow from her floating little demon. "OK, OK alright fine I'm getting up!' Solange complained as she slid out of her bed tumbling to the floor her covers coming with. "See what you did Yani you made me fall." She jokingly scolded the little light as she righted herself looking to the clock. 6... "6 In the morning Yani why are you waking me up at 6."

At this Yani pouted extinguishing her light. "Did you forget your promise Solange? You did didn't you!" Solange shook her head roughly. "I did not forget I just... didn't remember... Gimme a sec it'll come to me." Going about the room getting dressed Solange jumped up when it hit her. "Right we're going to the garden this morning! See? Told you I didn't forget." Rather proud of herself for remembering and finally being dressed she reached out gently cupping Yani in her hand and tucking her into her normal spot in her hair. "Alright let's to!"

Rushing out of the dorms toward the School's garden Solange was picking up speed as she pulled a small package out of her pocket. It only took a few minutes for the pair to reach the vacant garden. After looking carefully around to be sure they were alone Solange reached up removing Yani from her hair. "This "garden" is in terrible condition... We have a lot of work ahead of us Yani!" Solange happily relayed to her demon. "These seeds Mom gave me are gonna be beautiful here! But first we need to clear out all this dead stuff from whenever the last time someone took care of this place." With that the two went to work clearing out what would be their garden.

Solange did most of the work given most of the weeds were bigger than Yani. After a few hours work the garden was finally cleared and ready to be planted. School had completely been dropped from Solange's mind and Yani wasn't overly eager to remind her. So the two continued working carefully planting and covering seeds so they would grow properly.

The rough work finally finished Solange took a step back and looked at their work. A pile of weeds sat in a rough looking compost box almost filling the thing. The flower bed itself torn up and replanted. It'd been a tough few hours. Yani darted around Solange's head wiping the sweat and dirt off of her face. "Well Yani the hard part's done... now for the really tough part." Looking around again to make sure no one was watching Solange took a seat in front of the flower bed Yani took her place in the center of the garden. Solange focused on the seeds she had just planted willing them to break free from their shells and grow. As the plants pushed up breaking through the soil Yani began to glow in a soft light bathing the stems in perfect light for them to grow.

The pair sat in silence letting their magic work on the young flowers. Minutes passes and the plants looked like they'd been growing for weeks. Taking a breath Solange changed her focus to the rose bush in the center of the garden willing it to grow large and strong. A few more minutes passes and the roses were fully grown ready to bloom. Solange stood up looking at the work they'd done. "Yani it's perfect! This is gonna be the best garden we've ever made!" Solange did a little dance like she always did when she was really happy. Even Yani couldn't hide her joy twirling playfully around Solange's head.

Solange glanced at her watch at some point during her happy dance noticing the time. It was well past 1400 meaning she has skipped nearly her entire first day of classes. Glaring at Yani. "Why didn't you remind me about class Yani the day's almost over. If I hadn't looked at my watch we may have missed the club meeting!" Yani frowned slightly feigning innocence. "I didn't notice the time either Solange we were both working so hard on the garden..." Solange could only chuckle cupping her little demon in her hand. "It's alright I wanted to finish the garden any way we'll just go to class tomorrow! But we should go clean up before the club meeting we look like a mess. Cides' the flowers won't be ready to bloom till tonight any way so we'll come down after dinner maybe bring a friend!" Yani's face practically turned green at the ides. "Ok maybe no friend but you need to open up Yani school won't be any fun this way!" Solange's bright smile lifted Yani's spirits a bit and the pair headed back to the dorms to get ready for their first meeting.

Weston Lonehill

Today is another day.

Rubbing the tiredness from his eyes he slowly roused from his slumber. What time is it? He pondered as he looked over to the clock just by the head of his bed on the nightstand. The little electronic device showed a blinking 06:00 AM. Six AM? That's funny. Beat the alarm by at least half an hour. Guess I'll just turn that off and get a move on.

After going through his morning routine and getting changed out of his pajamas into some real clothes he pulled out a duffel bag and sat it on top of his bed. Inside was not the usual supplies one might expect to find inside a student's luggage but rather an assortment of dangerous looking tools. The largest of course was the menacing chainsaw, a motor with teeth in essence. Though well kept he never really found a use for it. He's always been looking for an excuse to pull this dangerous contraption out but no valid excuse has presented itself to him yet.

He shuffled through the miscellaneous items, looking for a few things in case he wanted to practice on the go. Hm. Pliers, no... Pizza cutter? Haha, no. Lemme see... Many of these items were mostly kept out of nostalgia, keepsakes of good times. He was looking for a subtle yet charmingly vicious choice, something which could be easily concealed yet inspire terror at a glance. Not that he planned on using any of these on others of course, he just couldn't help himself. Nobody ever said fashion was perfectly utilitarian.

"Aha."

He found it. An old fashioned barber shop razor, it's mirror clear side showing a fine reflection of himself. He recalled with fondness the day he picked this one up. It was quite the hilarious prank to be sure though he had to spend the rest of the day with a half done hair cut. Tucking the razor in one of the many pockets in his pants he closed up the bag and stuffed it back in the closet. He still had plenty of time since he was an early riser so he started on his way to the academy library to kill some time before classes actually started.

Upon his arrival he bid the librarian a friendly hello before preceding on his way down the isles. He had noted a map everyone had seen of the school grounds. It was shown to them all where the forbidden zones were so no-one would mistakenly wander into any of those areas. He had always been curious as to why those areas were forbidden. Is it because they are dangerous or perhaps they don't want us to know what they know? He pondered, passing rows of books by as he idled about. Seeing as his time was rather limited he'd save major excursions into the juicier contents of this academy for another time. Perhaps a little research on this place's background to pass the time? His hand settled on a book of those particular contents just as the whim hit him. It was hard to tell whether he had the thought first or if he just saw the book and got inspired. Nonetheless he brought the book over to a table with some chairs and sat down, setting the book down gently so as to not rouse the librarian or the other readers.

Weston was mindful of the time and soon enough the time to head to class drew near. In short order he placed the book back in it's proper space on the shelf and left the library to head on off to class. The academy was quite a grand place indeed. Nowhere else was known to him where he could learn the art of magic. That was a major part of what drew him there in the first place. Unfortunately not every class could be of a subject which interested him. Much like life one must go through a lot of clams to find a pearl. That day for the majority of his classes all he got were clams.

Some hours later

Though smiling and attentive on the outside he was dead bored with this class and just counting the seconds until it was over. As the clock struck the hour he wasted little to no time clearing from the room. It was a slow day to be sure but there was one class left and luckily it was to be exciting, or at least it sounded like it should. Combat class, the name alone evoked some anticipation. The main question he had on mind was if the class would be as advertised or if it was just going to be a lecture on the topic. He was fine with either but the concept of putting his talents to practice was inviting.

Of course he had to get there first. He was well on his way when he was approached by an acquaintance of his, one of many. "Hey pal! How's it goin'?" The tall more athletic looking fellow greeted him like he usually does. "Hey buddy! All's good with me. How about you?" Weston had a friendly smile, his posture open and relaxed. It was a perfect disguise for his real feelings towards this unwanted diversion.

"Me and a couple of the guys were planning on heading out and checking out the latest movie. Wanna come with?" His acquaintance extended his informal invitation. "Sounds great but sadly I got another class to go to. Tell you what, If I'm passing by afterwords I'll take you up on the offer!" Weston declined but turned the proposal around so his supposed friend wouldn't feel rejected. "Sorry to hear. It's gotta suck being stuck in classes all day huh?"

"Yeah, you got that right. Anyways I gotta be on my way or I'll be late. Later!" Weston excused himself to leave before this conversation dragged on too long. "Right. Later!"

And like that he was back on track, heading down the hallways until he came into the hall the room was in or so he was informed. Right, just got to find the right room number. Lets see...

Leo dozed on and off as the final minutes of his mundane classes ticked away into completion. He was, as always, hopelessly bored. Being one of the few super-genius level students at Liuena had a few perks, namely, he never needed to study for class. It was times like these, however, where he truly realized how different he was from everyone. The first quarter of the school year was well underway, and the regular students were hard at work, doing everything in their power to make the grade. Leo slept through most of his classes. It wasn't that the material wasn't interesting, far from it. Introductory Calculus, was quite essential in most physics, where Leo was quite solidly secured, due to several factors, but let's skip that for now. That being said, Leo had mastered this material by the time he was ten. The only way Leo could think to describe it, would be like picking up the oversized, and brightly colored toys of your childhood, only to find you didn't want to play Cowboys and Indians any more, further, the mere idea repulsed you. "This is child's play..." Leo whispered hazily to himself. The fact that his brother was, once again, systematically separated from him in literally every class was just icing on Leo's boredom cake. There would be no pranks to distract him from the ennui. Instead, he was forced to bear the brunt of it, one agonizing second at a time.

When it seemed like Leo would truly die of boredom, the buzzer rang, and Leo flew down the hallways. Amaimon the hound, Leo's stoic and icy demon, followed closely behind. Even though he was invisible to the average passerby, Amaimon had been so still in class, you would have thought him a statue, and paid him no mind at all. With his master's doldrums relieved, Amaimon snapped to attention, all the while keeping his eyes and ears out for trouble, namely, Leo's brother, Vergil.

Only moments before his class had ended, Leo had been, very nearly, sound asleep in his chair. The teacher's monotone voice, coupled with Leo's mastery of the subject, the perfect seventy degree ambient air temperature, and the immediate following of calculus from lunch, made for virtually perfect sleeping conditions. "Truly, a terrifying opponent.. For a lesser student..." Leo mused, his eyes sinking ever lower. Just before they shut entirely, Leo's eyes snapped open, and he sat bolt upright. While voices in one's head were usually never a good sign, in the case of Leo and Vergil, it simply meant the brothers were within close enough range to communicate telepathically.

"Leo, I know what we can do today that's gonna be really fun, but I've got no time to tell you. Just sneak out of class, we need to talk. Meet me at the door to Dad's classroom in a few minutes?"

Without a second thought, Leo packed his things, mumbled, "bathroom..." at his teacher, and stood to leave, walking calmly out the teacher's door, and then booking it as soon as the door had shut behind him. Conveniently, this occurred directly at the moment when the buzzer for fourth period had rung, masking Leo's frantic footsteps.

After blitzing down the hallway, his little blue demon in tow, Leo finally managed to make it to his father's room, the door hanging wide open. Leo sighed, and cautiously, he tiptoed inside. "I'm here Vergil-onii-chan..." Leo said softly, a lazy smile on his face. After entering, Leo sidled up to his brother and gave him a quick hug, smiling as his brother's familiar scent washed over him. As for the way in which Leo addressed his brother, when he was little, Leo had learned that phrase from the shows his father watched, and that the boys themselves had come to love. The suffix itself meant something along the lines of, "dearest brother," and Leo was quite fond of using it to address Vergil.

Keeping his voice low, an attempt at stealth underway, Leo continued. "Ohhh... Dad's gonna flip when he sees you picked the lock on his door... Anyways, what's this bright idea of yours?"

Skylar Donovan

Another hour chipping at my urge to stab the nearest available dimwit? Great...

With agitation and incense in tow, Skylar hung lazily around her personal desk located somewhere in the far ends of the classroom; mindlessly scribbling notes and half-hearted doodles in attempts to avoid menial finger-pointing in her general direction. She wasn't so much bored as trying not to become the miserable centre-point in a class that already had provoked less attention than that one time she was forced to undergo psychiatric therapy – Obviously she could've just skipped class like any sensible dunce, but somewhere, somehow, that just didn't fly. Had to keep good relations with the teachers, y'know. 'I guess I should be glad everyone else is just as bored as I am.' Perhaps it was her indifference and negligence to the subject matter at hand that she noticed a couple of kids giving her these awkward stares (plus, they weren't one bit inconspicuous) – Like, maybe she was pretend-working too diligently while everyone else seemingly held a less productive stance as soon as the clock struck the fifty minute mark.

Because, y'know, Skylar was so fucking sensitive of everyone's opinion of her being content with actually doing some actual learning. Like Hell she'd be, but that's what she got for being the new blood up in this joint; people had a tendency to silently judge you if you did so much as one alien thing in an otherwise totally not-crazy environment.

“Eh, whatevs...”

Skylar hardly was one to instil some kind of good faith in others. She didn't owe them anything, never felt hard-pressed to get along and make friends. Heck, truth be told, she didn't feel the least bit comfortable around all these strangers. Didn't know a single kid. Seen them a couple times, sure, but nobody that ever screamed anything other than stay the fuck away – For all she knew about paranoia, it was just easier to avoid people altogether compared to the other side of the coin. Or maybe she was making a total ass of herself with all that stand-offish (or indeed lacklustre and tiresome) gloom. Same result regardless.

A final attempt to duck even further behind the books she had erected as knock-off shields, Skylar made a passing sneer at the gawking wanna-be barbie dolls before she resumed her idle vandalizing of her only notepad. The sweet buzzing relief that ended class couldn't have come sooner. And in almost unison-like flails, Skylar flung her books and other junk into her bag before swiftly escaping the nightmare. 'Right, straight face. Straight face.' Didn't want people to go all stare-y at her again. On the other hand, though, combat class wasn't exactly a nice appetizer in Skylar's case. Kid wasn't used to fighting, and didn't exactly want to either. Never found much use out of punching people in the gut when you could just as easily flip their shit with a poor man's equivalent of a boogieman thing. 'Ah, what the Hell. What don't bite me, won't hurt me. Probably.'

Still, this being a mandatory class hadn't exactly stirred even the slightest bit of interest. In fact, quite the opposite, even. And if it weren't for want of something to do, Skylar might've been tempted to just not bother. But she figured, y'know, give or take. She might as well give it a try this once. If it ended up looking bad, then there was always the option to fake injury and scram. 'Nothing to go on about.' And one arguable moment of doubt later, Skylar reaffirmed her decision and proceeded her aimless wander through the hallways. She'd stumble upon the classroom eventually, right? 'Right.'

Amargo Moore

Yet again another day stuck in class. The young woman wanted nothing more than to have the class finish already. While Amargo did enjoy being here and spending time with people like her, the classes never changed. When she had first arrived at the Academy she had hoped the classes would be a lot more interesting but they were just the same as they were before, normal people or not. There wasn’t a whole lot that went on in the Academy that was even remotely interesting. If anything there would be the occasional accident where a student lost control of their abilities, but the staff was quick to get it under control before anything happened.

At the current moment Amago was sitting in class. The entire room was eerily silent but for good reason. They were all told to read their textbooks in silence. All of this was in preparation for the quiz that they may or may not be taking the next day. Every now and then dark grey eyes would glance over at the clock, counting the remaining minutes until the class would end. At this point it didn’t even seem like it ever would. The young magni looked at the clock for what felt like the twentieth time and saw that they still had about half an hour left. It was then that Amargo’s knee began to bounce up and down and from the looks of it the teacher had taken notice. The teacher glared at her as if telling her to stop and all she could do was hide behind her textbook and try to keep her leg from bouncing. She was just so bored with this class.

Thankfully it was the last class before things were to get interesting. As she sat there Amargo began to imagine what it would be like to take a combat class. It was definitely a class that the normal people didn’t offer, so hopefully it’d be a lot more interesting than taking such mundane classes like English. Maybe they would have duels and stuff, sort of like a magic tournament. With that thought in mind, the idea of hosting a magic tournament didn’t sound all too bad but considering how stiff the school was, Amargo doubted they would allow. ‘On the other hand I can try out that new trick I’ve been working on.’ Thinking about it caused a goofy smile to spread across her face. She wondered just how many people she get with it. There was already a small slew of students and even staff that had fallen prey to the invisible wall. They were all so confused by it and they would even pat the air trying to find the source. Finally a small giggle escaped her lips and she stiffened. Peeking over the top of her textbook the teacher was glaring at her again but this time she was approaching her desk.

Suddenly the bell rang and without a moment’s hesitation Amargo jumped out of her seat and dashed for the door. Bursting into the already filled hallways, the air magni couldn’t help but laugh aloud. “Oh that was fun.” Amargo was one of the Academy’s lesser known pranksters since she only did it a small scale, unlike a certain pair of twins that went above and beyond. Still giggling she made sure all of her things were in her bag. It would be pretty troublesome if she had forgotten something in the classroom and thankfully she didn’t. Most students were already well on their way to their next destination but Amargo didn’t feel the need to rush. It would undoubtedly increase her excitement if she prolonged the fun. For good five or ten minutes, Amargo wondered the halls, skipping about and making sure not to get caught.

Along the way she played her invisible wall trick on a couple people and each of their reactions were priceless. It was all she could do to keep from bursting out laughing and giving herself away. Do you even plan on going Amargo? Stopping her next trick, Amargo glanced to her left. “Well of course I’m going. It’s by far the most interesting class that I’ll be taking. I wouldn’t want to miss out on all the fun.” It was hard enough making herself go every day to the same old boring classes. At least this way there would be something worth waiting for at the end of the day.

Bavol then materialized beside her although you could just barely make him out. Well if you say so. Just know that they might not let you participate if you’re late. Amargo pondered this statement for a while. Her demon was right but he was also the kind of demon that needed order. Eventually Amargo came to the realization that postponing the fun might just ruin her chances to even enjoy it in the end. “Aw man you’re right.” Amargo frowned at Bavol just as he dematerialized. Adjusting the straps of her backpack, Amargo was well on her way to the classroom. Hopefully she wouldn’t be late.

Eli Snow
|Location| Near the Fighting club room
|Mood| Bored
|Thoughts| "Hmm... Interesting choice of words the author used..."
|With| Wynter (their demon)

Their alarm clock began going off, and with a groan, Eli felt around for a button and smacked their hand in an an attempt to turn it off. When that didn't work, Eli grabbed the electrical cord and tugged on it. It still kept going because it also ran on batteries, and Eli, at this point wide awake and more than a little agitated, turned off the power switch on the blasted piece of technology. The noise abruptly stopped, and they plugged it back in, as to not drain the batteries.

As they looked around, they saw no signs of Wynter. She promised she'd be there for the first day of class, but then again, Wynter was pretty unreliable, so Eli didn't really care as they walked to the shower, turning it on, stepping inside, and shaving their arms, legs, and face. Soon, they stepped out after turning off the water, dried off with a towel, "tucked", put on clothes and wrapped a dry towel around their shoulders to prevent water from dripping from their hair to their clothes. After this process, Eli went to the vanity set in the room to begin the daily task of applying make-up.

Eli began by rubbing some moisturizing lotion on their face, and letting it soak in. Then, they grabbed the white eyeliner pencil, and began putting it on their waterline, using the trick they'd picked up from their mom a long time ago, when they were three. Lastly, they curled their lashes and applied mascara.

They finally took the towel off their shirt, but they weren't done preparing. Now, they had to do their hair. Eli kept it simple by just combing it and using a tiny bit of gel to keep it tidy. Afterward, Eli picked out a deep navy blue headband and put it on their head.

Making sure there was no imperfections in their hair or makeup, they peered closely in the mirror for a few minutes, fixed some flyaway hairs, and soon snatched their book bag while walking out the door to breakfast.

After choosing some French toast sticks with maple syrup, some facon (fake bacon) and some chocolate milk, they sat down to eat at a table no one else seemed to sit at, and finished just in time for the bell to ring, signalling the end of breakfast.

During the last class

Eli was placed in the front as they listened to the teacher drone on about nothing they really cared about, although Eli was scribbling notes on paper for the exam. They'd probably pass, as usual, but it never hurt to take notes to read the nights before.

The agender had been teased a little (okay, more than a little) by both girls and boys today. Some of the girls whispered about the "girl-boy" (neither of which Eli was), and Eli was okay with that, albeit slightly offended.

What Eli wasn't okay with was how the offending guys and the non-whispering girl acted. Most of the offending guys had knocked Eli around the halls, purposely bumping into them and scattering the new kid's stuff. A girl "accidentally" stepped on one of Eli's doodles during one of the times Eli was trying to pick up the fallen textbooks and notebooks. The remainder of the guys had said rude words at Eli while they were all in the restroom.

Eli could report it, but most the kids were teacher's pets, so Eli was concerned about the fact the teachers would try to protect the students, and Eli didn't even know their names. Eli could punch the pigs who were harassing them, but chances are they'd get beat up due to their frailness, and/or they'd get in a lot of trouble.

Loudly, the bell dismissed the class and Eli grasped their stuff and let everyone go out first before standing up and leaving. Finally, there was a mandatory club they had to take about offensive and defensive techniques regarding magic.

And finally, Wynter appeared with a tiny burst of sparkles.

"Took you long enough," muttered Eli as they walked to where the fighting club room supposedly was, obviously annoyed.

"Hey! It wasn't my fault I needed to finish an ice sculpture!" Wynter replied in her high pitched voice, obviously peeved at Eli even thinking she was to blame.

"...Let's just find the fighting classroom." Eli didn't even want to argue right now, they were just done. Wynter seemed to notice something was up, but said nothing.

After a few minutes, they managed to find the hallway containing the fighting room. They saw a blond person walking inside a room, and Eli assumed that was the room. However, since no one else was walking there, Eli decided to just sit near the door until someone could confirm their suspicions about that being the room. Eli plopped down and began reading a book sitting criss-cross applesauce while Wynter sat on their left shoulder, sculpting a piece of ice she summoned.

Solange Kagari

After having rushed back to their room Solange and Yani settled up to get clean and ready for the only class they were really excited for. After working all day in the school's garden they had quite a bit of cleaning up to do starting with a long shower to get all the dirt and such washed away. After putting on her uniform and making sure her hair looked good enough to go out it was time to head to class. On the way out Yani tucked herself into her standard hiding place in Solange's hair hidden from sight other than the flower she carries accenting Solange's hair.

Leaving their room Solange began skipping down the hallway a white lily given to her by her mother twirling in her hands as she went. It took a few minutes to make it to the class building and even a few more to make it to the hallway where she could find the classroom. As she was skipping towards the classroom she saw her first person of the day. A boy? Yup another look confirmed that he was indeed a boy with a Demon on his shoulder! Skidding to a stop in front of him. "Hi Hi! You look a little lost! Well don't worry I almost know exactly where I'm going!" She smiled brightly down at the boy her eyes flicking toward his demon, but she didn't want to just ask she'd never met another mage before so she didn't know if she could just ask or even look at another person's demon.

"It's nice to meet you I'm Solange! You're actually the first person I've talked to here I kinda spent all day in the school's garden it's almost all ready too! Oh umm I have this flower I think it matches your hair perfectly! If you don't mind I-I'd like you to have it." She smiled brightly holding the flower out to him feeling Yani twitch slightly in her hair.

Magic Combat 101!

He finally came to a stop, staring directly at the door to the room where his class was taking place. Thank goodness I finally found it. I could of sworn weeks would of gone by in the time it took me to find this rather out of the way place. His inner monologue came to a stop as he reached over and grasped the door handle to the room, not sparing another thought to what he was doing as he strolled in like he owned the place.

He scanned the room from the moment he stepped in. A simple classroom was sat out before him. Bare wooden desks with uncomfortable looking chairs all aligned in straight rows just wide enough to walk between filled the room, A larger heavier desk sat at the back, better built and designed to keep stacks of papers and other miscellaneous items within. The left-most wall had three mostly clear windows which were partially open, a scene of lush verdant green outdoors laying just outside for all to see and smell through them. Towards the back of the room behind the desk another door was set, this one leading not back into the halls but rather into an office that connects directly to the classroom. Well, at least that's what he deduced given the appearance of the door as it sported many of the typical features of being an office door including a name plate set on the front of it reading the name of the resident professor.

These were all details that were important to take in for him. It was most likely that these facts would not become important anytime in the future but there was an off-hand chance that if he needed to kill someone in this room he'd need to know which access points to block off ahead of time and just how visible he'd be while carrying out the deed.

Moving on from that thought his eyes went back over to the shadow looking wolf thing sitting next to the desk. That must be the teacher's demon. I wonder what it does. He pondered. Having only known The Spectator before the opportunity to see what other demons were capable of was a delightful treat. Almost as delightful as the idea of working with some of the other magi's blood.

Inevitably his attention was drawn back to the door at the back of the room. The fact that it was closed was almost as good as an invitation for him as he strolled down a lane between the desks right past the desk and right up to the door. Even if the truth was that there might not of even been anything going on behind it and even if there was something happening it would of most likely been extremely mundane the fact was simple, he had to see for himself just to know.

Stepping through without a second thought he looked inside the office to find he had interrupted what he could only assume was the teacher and two other students in a discussion of some sort. This came as no real surprise to him as he had heard their muffled voices as he had opened the door.

"Sorry for intruding, I'll just wait back in the classroom." He flashed an apologetic smile as he excused himself. Since the moment he had come in though his eyes scanned across the entire room, taking in everything with voracious curiosity. The decorations, the titles of each book, anything he could dedicate to memory he observed which wasn't perfect given how little time he had to memorize the sights before slipping back behind the door, closing it as he left back into the classroom.

With that done he casually meandered over to a desk, one roughly near the center of the room as he had little issue being surrounded by people. He just leaned on the side of it while he waited for others to show up.

Eli Snow
|Location| Near the Fighting club room
|Mood| Confused as to why Solagne is talking to them, slightly concerned she's going to be one of their tormentors, happy their not being teased by her.
|Thoughts| "...What does she want, and why is she offering me a flower?"
|With| Wynter (their demon), Solagne Kagari

"...Hm?" Eli looked up from their book as they heard footsteps approaching.

Please don't be coming towards me... Please don't be coming towards me... Please don't be running towards- Eli mentally prayed that the person wasn't rushing to them, but to no avail.

A presumably female person with light red hair, probably around fifteen or sixteen, skid to a stop in front of Eli and Wynter and exclaimed happily with a smile, "Hi hi! You look a little lost! Well don't worry I almost know exactly where I'm going!"

"...Hi...?" Eli was visibly surprised for a moment that the girl wasn't trying to put them down for wearing makeup and a hair accessory, but Eli still kept their inner defense up.

"Heyoo! I'm Wynter, like the season, but with a 'y' instead of 'i'!" Wynter giggled a slight bit as she introduced herself. "This is Eli. They're not much of a talker, but please don't call them a boy or a girl, just so you know beforehand!" She motioned towards the light-haired bookworm.

"It's nice to meet you, I'm Solange! You're actually the first person I've talked to here I kinda spent all day in the school's garden it's almost all ready too! Oh umm I have this flower I think it matches your hair perfectly! If you don't mind I-I'd like you to have it." Solagne looked back at Eli, and offered the flower to them.

Eli's cold heart slightly melted as her bright smile shined on it. They nsure weren't used to being treated this way! "U-um, thanks..." they mumbled quietly and gently took the flower from Solagne's hands, took the blue headband off and stuffed it in their messenger bag, and finally tucked the flower behind their ear.

After this process was finished, Eli stood up, Wynter next to them floating using her wings, and said, "Solagne is a pretty name. I'm ready to leave when you are." Their exterior had turned back to their normal, seemingly unapproachable side after thanking Solagne.

Luna

Luna was currently sitting at a desk in the library, luckily for her it was placed right in front of a window so she had the opportunity to let her eyes wander the mesmerizing view of the Academy's garden. The young magni was supposed to be attending classes, but she somehow ended up spending the majority of the day in the library reading. Which was not exactly a shock to the librarian, who had on previous other occasions tried to get the girl to attend classes. But to no luck did Luna attend classes unless needed. She didn't exactly enjoy spending her time in a class with students who didn't feel comfortable around her, especially when they whispered and spread rumors behind her back.

A dark aura suddenly made it's presence known, whilst most would flinch at the feeling of being watched. Luna know exactly who it was.
"Do you do anything but read child?" Hakuba questioned her, curiosity etched into his voice.

Luna turned to face her Demon, unlike most of the other Demons who belonged to students. Hakuba didn't exactly show his true form to a lot of people. The majority of the time he used his ability of Illusions to give him the appearance of a reaper of sorts, much larger than many other. Whilst in reality Hakuba was much smaller and Luna on many occasions described him as cute. Much to his annoyance.

" Nothing else seems to be of interest.." She replied boredly.

" You don't find anything interesting. Anyway Isn't the club meeting starting soon?" This caught Luna's attention. She knew she had to attend this session, her parents would most likely kill her if she missed the club meeting. If she was honest they would probably kill her for missing classes. But the club was something that they insisted she took part in.

Standing up with a sigh Luna proceeded to close the book she was currently reading and make her way towards the designated room. " I can't believe I forgot" She grumbled to herself, causing a few students to look at her with bewildered expressions. Luna just passed them, not even fazed by the looks she received.

"More like you just couldn't be bothered to attend.." Luna just glared at Hakuba, unfortunately for her she seemed to be paired with the Demon who is wise beyond his year. Not that she minded most of the time.

After a short walk, Luna finally arrived at the room in which she was supposed to be in. With a heavy sigh the girl knocked on the door before entering the room, Hakuba following directly behind her.

It seemed to be like any other room in the Academy, except there was only one student in the room. Plus the teachers demon which took the appearance of a wolf.
"Am I in the right room?" She questioned the male student who had occupied a desk in the middle of the room.

Skylar Donovan

Earbuds muffling outward distractions, Skylar was careful not to headbutt into anyone even remotely inclined to hand out shock therapy – or worse, third-degree burns. Problem was, that feat was easier said than done, and after narrowly missing one such magical “accident” by a hair (seriously, she was glad having those stunning reflexes) she anxiously, and hastily, navigated herself to where she wasn't surrounded by fellow magic Joes. Not that creepy ghost-hallyways were any better, but, y'know, between playing frogger with mages-to-be who created a tornado if they so much as sneezed, and spending a fifteen minute detour through some dusty ol' hallway – The latter seemed all the more appealing (and less bothersome).

And so with new-found quiet, Skylar resumed her initial intent to take a look at this “Magic Combat 101” business. And maybe try to muster up some motivation while she's at it, too. Like, what, did they really expect students to take this combat thing seriously? Clearly this wasn't just for fun, or at least somewhere deep down Skylar prayed this wasn't going to be another one of those school-activities where they try to enforce some kind of class-community motive. Though in hindsight, it may as well be.

Schools had a tendency to take the nature of group-mentality to an almost religious devotion, like it was the next best thing discovered since sliced bread. Funnily enough the opposite was true with anxious individuals the likes of Skylar. Add her usual lacklustre and brash retorts to that and you can see why this kid never made any friends in high school.

'Beats flicking cashew nuts, s'pose,' With a shrug, Skylar took a small note of the class title plastered on the door before inching inside; careful not to set off any suspicion from the already present students, whom she gave a passing glance (and not much else) as she took up residence at one of the desks in the back of the room.
