β Personality β
β Creative β Obsessive β Addict β People Pleaser β Perfectionist β Loving β
Jade has a tendency to try to please everyone around it, whether it be her family, her friends, or her lover. She can't seem to say no when she most wants to, and it drives her crazy. She has obsessive behaviours about certain things, such as an art project or someone she falls for. Her perfectionist qualities tend to clash with her creative ones, making it difficult for her to see her art as acceptable.
Loving by nature, when she lost the person she loved, her drinking began to get out of control and she picked up smoking on top of it. She became obsessive with trying to figure out a way she might be able to see her again, and her addictions only became worse.

β Happiest Memory β
"I think my happiest memory would have to be when I met her. ...Her. Girl 3. Yeah. I think that's the happiest I ever remember being."
β Saddest Memory β
"The night... Oh, god, that night... I not only lost the person I loved, but... But I-I... I didn't mean to... I... I killed someone..."
β Thoughts On Dying β
"Dying... When someone dies - when anything dies, really - the soul of that person, or of that thing, I think, lives on. It has to, right? Otherwise, why would so many people be unable to wait to see their loved ones again? Why would people claim to see the paranormal, if it did not, in fact, exist in some form or another?"

"I grew up on Liwa Island. I was born into a wealthy family, one of the only ones on this little island. From the get go, I was forced to dress, act, speak, look, etc. like they wanted me to. I didn't have a choice in the matter. I was to be a lady, and there was no arguing to be done about the matter. From the time I was young, I can remember my mother always forcing curls into my long, unruly brown hair, trying to tame it into something manageable. I was expected to not only appear perfect, but I had to be perfect. If I wasn't perfect, I wasn't good enough. That's just how it was. How it is. How it always will be, as long as I'm under their roof.
It wasn't until high school that I realized that I wasn't like other girls. It wasn't that I didn't look like a girl, feel like a girl, or whatever. It was that, unlike other girls, who couldn't wait to lose their virginities to their boyfriends, I couldn't stand the thought of sleeping with a man. Don't get me wrong, though. I developed romantic feelings for many boys at school. But sex with them never crossed my mind, not even once.
It wasn't until I met her, my student teacher, that I realized why. Why I never had those feelings for the boys I dated. I realized that I was sexually attracted to women, and I couldn't have felt more repulsed by myself at the time. But I didn't only feel repulsed. I felt...open, almost. Like I had finally come to terms with myself, in a way.
I was the perfect student, a teacher's pet, if you will. I often stayed after school, discussing school subjects and whatnot with her. Soon enough, our student-teacher relationship became more friendly. We both knew it was 'inappropriate,' but neither of us could help how we felt. She was the first person I came out to and remains to be the only one, even in death.
I remember that night so...so vividly. More vividly than I would like to. I still have nightmares every night. Every single night. I won't forget the look on that girl's face, her head bleeding profusely. I won't forget how much of a coward I was for running. But I was drunk, and I was angry. Angry that she was talking so openly about my 'relationship' with our student teacher. A relationship she truly knew nothing about.
What made matters worse was that the person I had been defending, the person I cared so much about, would also be departing this world that night. That very same night. I'd like to think that someone somewhere, be it the Grim Reaper or some cruel God, is having a laugh at me.
Now, with my hair short and dyed blonde, against my mother's wishes, I am trying to salvage my life, to keep myself together, to live like a normal teenager. But the nightmares...they make it feel impossible."
