Image - Gollum

Smeagol and Gollum are the same being and share the same body. Their body is skinny and neglected. Their the size of a regular hobbit. He's hunched over when he walks and his skin has the paleness of that that has never, or slightly has, seen the light of day. His eyes are a dull blue, and look rather big for his head. He's mostly bald.

Personality

Smeagol's personality is a bit odd. He seem's to have schizophrenia or multiple personality disorder. He talk's like he's thinking, always stopping mid-sentence to disagree with himself. He tends to often refer to himself in the third person and talk to himself, calling himself Gollum. Smeagol and Gollum are basically the two names of Smeagol's personalities. Smeagol is the innocent and kind side of Smeagol that just want's to be loved and cared for by Master, much like a young child. Gollum is just the opposite. Gollum's the cruel and mean side of Smeagol that only cares about the precious, much like an abusive parent to Smeagol, always putting him down and not really liking him though he has to drag him along in order to get the ring.

Equipment

None.

History

Where to begin. Smeagol spent the early years of his life with his extended family under a matriarch, his grandmother. On Sméagol's birthday, he and his relative Déagol went fishing in the Gladden Fields north of Lothlórien. There, Déagol found the Ring after being pulled into the water by a fish. Sméagol fell immediately under the Ring's spell and demanded it as a birthday present, strangling and killing Déagol when the latter refused him. Sméagol used the Ring for thieving, spying and antagonizing his friends and relatives, who nicknamed him "Gollum" and banished him. Under the influence of the Ring, he retreated to a deep cavern in the Misty Mountains. The Ring's malignant influence twisted his body and mind, and prolonged his life well beyond its natural limits.
