Tyler continued on his way as he spoke. "I've been alone all this time. I'm sure I can..." He looked back eyes almost glaring, "And I believe the dark magic.. is coming from you." he said. His pace was slow and steady like always. Tyler never seemed to rush. He always took him time.

Joel just chuckled, looking over at the sun as it began its descent into the horizon. "You know, I used to be just like you......unaware of what I was capable of. That is, until the Shadow Gears brought me in. And I never knew the meaning of true trust until I spent a few years with them. Believe me kid, you have true potential, you just don't know it yet. If you had anything to look forward to, I'd more than recommend you accept my guild offer"

"I just dont fit in with guilds. I got a lot of offers, but they never worked out. All guilds are the same to me." Tyler answered dully. Shadow Gears, he was sure he heard it somewhere before. Well there were too much guild names he heard, so it was hard for him to keep track. He put a hand on his head and sighed silently.

Joel soon filled with rage as a skeleton rose behind him. "You want to know something? Your not the only one where guild offers didn't go so well. My old guildmaster promised me the very rank I am today. However, it didn't come easy....that's right, I was the one who killed off the guild, but only because the selfish fools thought they could betray me." Joel spoke of the incident on his 18th birthday, how the Shadow Gears guild betrayed him and refrained from granting him his promised role as guild master.

"That's your problem... I dont want to get involved with any guilds... they cause nothing but trouble. Fighting amongst themselves.. it's pretty sad.." Tyler said seeing a skeleton from the corner of his eyes. He didnt seem bothered by it, but he was well perpared just in case the other guy attacked. Why were there guild anyways? In the books he read about the past, they caused nothing but war.
