Introduction
In the land of Arin, with the form of a stable goverment, peace has begun to develope as technology finally begins to advance to a level that was never thought possible now. With the leadership of Ruler Sen, things are stable and the people are seeing an era of peace upon them. But that all changed when a changing event occurd.
Magins, people that develop powers connected to their personality and imagination, begin to appear all over. At first, it wasn't taken likely, just having officials watching these few people to make sure they don't abuse their new powers. But then, the number of people awakening to these powers increased more and more, making the people worry. As a means to calm the people down, the goverment rounded up the Magins, placing them in issolated regions, away from the normal people. But in doing that, they seperate the Magins from their friends and family, causing some of them to go into dispair. Their powers lost control because of this, transforming into beasts. The transformed Magins went on a rampage, becoming like animals as they brought chaos, making things worse. Slowly, towns and city fell, becoming wildernesses as the Beast Magins took it. Now all of Arin has been shrunken down to a few major cities and the main capital of Core City.
Magins still begin to appear among the normal people, bringing fear among them. Even worse is that people don't know what started the appearances of the Magins. So, the goverment placed a law that labled all Magins as a threat, being a target to be killed on sight for the protection of everyone else. Many Magins hide who they are to keep their lives, but some openly admit it, fighting for their rights. But deep behind all the peace talks in the goverment, the scret of the Magins is kept hidden. Will the Magins discover this secret and free themselves from this hunt?
Setting
The world is highly advanced in technology, from plasma guns, holograms, and hover vehicals traveling high speed tracks, but outside the city is wilderness, filled with the Magins that turned into beasts, to that of a fantasy level. The cities all have walls and barriers blocking the outside to protect the citizens from the threat of the Beast Magins outside. Apart from that threat, life is normal in the city, with the few appearances of Magins here and there.
Info
Magin- Magins are humans that develop powers with a "theme" that relate to their personality and imagination. The awakening of these powers occurs when the person goes through any form of heavily emotional event in their lives, turning deep within them for freedom. On some occasions, the human goes through slight changes in appearance when they awaken aswell. This power lets them do almost anything under that certain "theme". The basic things they can do is creating a tool of weapon from that "theme" of theirs. Also, deep down even if they haven't unlocked it yet, they have a beast form. That form mainly reveals itself when they begin to lose their control due to either emotional or stressfull events. To return to normal, they have to be calmed down, even if they rampage. If not, they remain a beast and join the wild kind outside the cities, if not killed by the goverment.

The soldiers then saw a massive brute of a man, about 9 feet tall, charge towards them from behind, duel wielding rifles that, through the use of pyromancy, were being turned into flamethrowers. This was an extremely complex illusion as it required Axel to get everything right, even the exact feeling of heat if the flames got close. The brute smashed into a soldier and threw him several feet backwards. The rifle released a flame and it flew way to close to the soldiers for their comfort. Then came the real kicker. Every soldier voided their bowels and pissed themselves at once. Each stared at the brute in extreme embarrassment and fear. Most of their fight or flight reflexes chose flight but about five stayed behind and emptied their rifles on the illusion. Seeing that it had no effect they began to run as well.
The illusion dissipated, the Magins had seen nothing and had no clue as to why the soldiers had run, Axel slid over, his eyes still closed. He began to feel his conscientiousness slip.

He watched as the Magin beside him plopped down against the wall, his eyes getting heavier as if with sleep. “This can’t be healthy you know,” he said, in reference to the boy’s apparent habit of getting woozy and slipping into the unconscious, and, from the short amount of time Nate had noticed, reliance on adrenaline shots and morphine. He picked up the adrenaline shot the boy had told him to give him and stuck it into his upper shoulder, rather than the heart because Nate felt that was too much like stabbing somebody. When all the liquid was out of the needle, he sat back on his heels and waited for it to take effect, anxiously glancing around.
He looked up at the Magin that had been creating the wall. “They’ll be back soon when they realize that whatever that was was just an illusion. So we should hurry, right?”
He had a feeling that this wasn’t over yet. Something bigger was coming, and they had to distance themselves from it and the train. Fast.

The large machine stood towering a good 9 feet as it's three red eyes shinned, "Peacemaker, online. Targeted Magins, located." Lifting it's right arm, it aimed three rockets equiped to it at everyone. "Commence, extermination of threat." Sikes's eyes widen as he yells back. "Run!!" RIght as he yells that, one of the rockets is fired at them. Sikes quickly tries to hold the rocket back with one of his shadowed walls, but as it made contact, it simply broke his wall, sending him back as he slammed his back against the broken down train. Sturggling to get back up, he glares at the Mech, "This is going to be harder then expected..."

It stood like a tumor, a giant among common rubble. "That's a government machine," He said, stating the obvious. Angora couldn't be bothered to dignify it with a response. "No one else in the city has the authority to make something like that. I wonder how it's powered. Nuclear? No, that's ancient technology. Powerful, but ancient."
He paused, leaning into the window. His nose was almost flat against the glass, which automatically displays information on the weather and humidity. What runs it? Human? Or automated? That gives room for errors, any Magin who can control machines can wipe it out. Perhaps it can be overwritten by a remote panel then?"
Allen was breathless with excitement. He loved technology, and he's never seen anything like this, not in textbooks, not in Laxton's sketches. Belatedly, he realized why it was there. His breath caught. Goodness, so big a machine to wipe out a few Magins? Were they really such a threat? A few little kids? More importantly, what was it's melting point?
The machine reared, then fired. The sensors on Allen's window read his eye movements, and magnified the direction he was looking at. Missiles shot at a lone kid - the same one who had started hijacking the train earlier. The kid fended them off, making a shield out of some black substance Allen presumed to be solidified darkness. It worked, but the boy was thrown backwards. The missile shrapnels exploded in all directions and fell downwards. It was raining iron and fire on the road, stricking a passerby who had been staring at the fight.
The dark blue shade the window use to mark biological components faded. Dead in 53 milliseconds.
More screaming. Allen made his decision then.
He put Angora down, pushing her towards her basket. She yowled, offended, because usually Allen took the time to tuck her into bed like a prized baby. Allen was already tapping on his window. "Route towards track no.45, 2nd tier."
Words started pouring onto the glass. "Scenic?"
"No, hell no."
The routes were stained red on the glass. It blurred out the areas he shouldn't be concerned with, ending with a huge red zone above the hijacked train's track. [RESTRICTED ZONE] was stamped on it, in the same forbidding shade of red as the towering robot. It was a first tier train track, used only when transporting government officials and trespassing was criminal. But at least Allen knew it's melting point, 1800 degrees Celsius. Made out of a combination of synthesized hard Uranium, either variation #125 or #128.
Before he could convince himself to be sane, Allen was already out of his window, his neighbour's window already sculpting itself to form a ladder.

The pretty young thing was glad that she could finally relax for the time being, but that state of mind was soon washed away. She shifted her rosy gaze up after the sound of an aircraft above her the train. Her expression turned into a shocked one as she stared at the machine that dropped down with a thud & a shock wave. The bridge proved to be weak compared to the hello the mechanical monster had sent, so it rumbled slightly. In turn, she lost her balance & fell on her bottom with a gasp of surprise. She barely had time to recover when the thing sent rockets--one of them heading her way.
Anemone's instinct quickly took over & forced her to get up & run to one end of the bridge, the one she'd entered from in the first place. She stumbled as she did so & almost lost grip of the gun she'd been trying to hold onto. It caused her to pause as she proceeded regain her hold on it but as soon as she did, she ran as fast as she could out of the bridge. She barely made it out & when she did, she lost balance again & fell near a part of the train itself. She was lucky that the debris hadn't landed on her. She sighed with relief at that & then her eyes looked at the gun she continued to clutch onto. She wondered if it would help her at all with the predicament she'd inserted herself into. How she wanted to return to the outside walls of Core City at the moment...

She was still a good few meters away from the train when she noticed a few soldiers... eugh. And scattering. Perhaps her help wasn't needed after all. She slowed down to a walk, still panting lightly, and was about to consider just staying out of the way when an aircraft dropped a huge mech onto the bridge. She yelped and pinwheeled backwards, knocked unsteady by the shockwave the thing made when it landed. She could already hear the screams of some of the Magins around the train, even before it started firing the missiles.
She screamed as a missile hurtled toward her. She still didn't trust her powers but she had to save herself somehow. "The missile will stop right where it is!" she thought quickly, holding her tensed hands out to defend herself in case Chaos-the name she gave to the fickle nature of her powers- had other ideas. Fortunately, her command was specific enough, and the missile began to hover in place, just a meter away from her. She breathed a sigh of relief... until she realized that the explosives were still active. Her throat clenched up and she scrambled away from it as she thought of what to do about it. Her first thought was to send it up into the air where it wouldn't hurt anyone, so Chaos obliged without allowing her another thought, shooting the thing straight upwards. "Shoot," Ellie hissed under her breath, a curse that Chaos interpreted as "detonate," and it obediently followed its orders. Ba-BOOM! Shrapnel was sent flying. Ellie panicked and pushed her hands toward the explosion, thinking, "Contain it!" There was a shimmering around the explosion site and the shrapnel formed itself into some kind of treasure chest, which quickly began to fall. She brought one hand in toward her middle, beckoning the thing on to the bridge as she thought, "Bring the chest on to the bridge, nice and easy... just like that. That's it." The screams from the train and the sound of gunfire broke her concentration, and the chest began to free-fall again, landing with a plink on the head of the mech.

If you want to be precise about it, you would say that no electronic equipment will work. And if you want to be honest about it, that meant everything. A government-issued command - /.ROOT - shuts down everything it can reach in the area it chooses to. No elevator will work, most inter-sector doors shut. You're trapped in your own house - sometimes with even the toaster offline- until they decide it's time to evacuate you due to potential danger, or the threat had been exterminated.
This close to the emergency site, residents are locked into their homes. Not much of a problem because it was dark night, and most people probably won't even notice that their doors can't be opened or their TVs are playing previously downloaded material. It wasn't even streaming anymore. Allen knew this. He had religiously read every 'countermeasure for Magins' article he could get his hands on. One of the officials had once mentioned that this was one of it : to keep citizens away from the danger and the danger away from them.
Instead, Allen was climbing. Slowly, but steadily, he made his way up his apartment block. He was on the 16th floor, and the 1st tier track was around the elevation of the 25th. Allen had no idea how he planned to reach the track, except that he had to. Window grills melt down one after another, dripping downwards towards him. When they extended a foot - which was the maximum they could go before becoming too thin for climbing - metal tendrils snaked towards each other to form ladders and footholds.
A sweat broke on Allen's forehead. He sucked at physical activities. Last place in all school races, the first out in dodgeball. His fingers were like stiff claws. I never knew the outdoor was so cold, he thought. Without thermal insulation, it's like the whole world is freezing over. He gritted his teeth and climbed. One foothold at a time. With grace. Left, right, left, right. Look down and he'll be screaming like a little girl.
Down on the second tier, things were happening. Allen couldn't look, because even without looking down his feet felt like rubber. It was too cold to sweat, or his hands would have lost their grip a long time ago. All he could hear was more screaming - some pedestrian, some maybe the Magins - and explosions. The machine's footsteps were like little earthquakes of their own. If Allen had bothered bringing a Richter Scale with him, they would measure a 4. He concentrated instead with climbing. Then another scream -- much louder, and much nearer.
"Look! Mom! Someone's out there!"
Allen risked a look. A kid was staring at him in the apartment block opposite, wide-eyed. Then a woman pushed him aside and looked out at Allen. She took one look at the way he was hanging onto his neighbour's window and the derailed train downstairs, and immediately ran into the house.
"Honey---" She shouted. "---Authorities! There's one of those--"
Allen didn't bother straining harder to hear more. He grabbed at the make-shift ladder below him, melting in. He yanked a piece free, sculpting it until one end of was sharpened. Allen squeezed it until it turn red hot.
He threw it at the kid's window, hitting the corner instead of the middle as aimed, but it did it's job. The makeshift weapon, still infused with Allen's power, embedded itself into the glass. The window shattered, the pieces closes to the projectile spluttering into boiling liquid glass.
The child started screaming. Droplets of the liquid had sprayed onto his arm, and they burned the way it would if he had stuck his arm down an incinerator chute. Allen took the opportunity to climb on ahead. At least that should keep his parents preoccupied. Allen shut out the child's cries. Better a scarred child than Allen caught. Selfish, but true. Would you rather an unrelated piece of meat disfigured for life than yourself in prison? Allen thought it was logical, rational even.
His train of thought was interrupted by the whirr of a machine starting up. Allen looked up to where the sound came from, and he noticed for the first time that the weather panels had flipped. Fog came, and mist had settled over the train site.
When there's an emergency, nothing will work.
Not even vision.

Aiza raised slightly to see over the small edge of the roof. Government... what a way to improve...
So, instead of just using the usual routine of being happy triggers and waiting for more squads for support they were sending the reinforced assault suits for absolute annihilation, aka big armored robots. It was the first time Aiza saw one finished... no, correction needed. As a scrap collector, or material raiser it was the same, she knew where most of her collected parts ended. It was´t new when you would been took "in vigilance" just to be sure that you weren´t taking anything dangerous away from the government, last time Aiza had the bad luck of being taken she also was able to see how they were adding a remote gravity controller with an infusion of plasma in it, apparently it was to had better control of the missiles.
Taking more air than she needed the girl let the bag full of pieces fall while she moved her now free hand to her back searching for the other blade gun, it was a simple mechanism attached in both the suit and the gauntlets developed from the anti-gravity system to simulate magnetism in what she wanted, something lighter than her of course, that allowed her to move a hand and had a blade gun in it a moment later.
Now Aiza had the two gun, one in each hand, prepared as she aimed to the head of the battle suit.
"Heat vision, cryo vision, x vision, plasma vision, electric detector, wave synchronizer... I don´t care what they installed in you... losing the head controller will force you to go into manual and that if you have a pilot inside..."
Aiza pressed the trigger several times wishing that one of the shots would actually do something, with a lot of luck maybe she would be able to hit a random missile that was falling over the robot´s head she just hoped one of the Magins below would realize what she was trying to do.
