Introduction
Many years ago, on a cold winter’s day
as I walked through the Enchanted Forest
I heard the sound of horses and Men at Arms.
I felt compelled to walk on a find the place of these sounds
when the forest did clear, I was standing on a hill,
before me was a great plain, upon it the Armies of the World standing and waiting.
I thought to myself for whom or for what are they waiting, suddenly a gust of wind came up from the north. There appeared a lone rider holding a sword of steel.
Then from the south came another bearing a battle Axe.
From the east came a third holding a spiked club.
And finally from the west, a rider who wielded a great hammer of war.
With them came their Soldiers of Death, followed by an army of Immortals. They were few in number, but the look in their eyes told all who beheld them that they would leave this day only in victory or death.
And there was a great silence. My heart began to pound, storm clouds filled the sky with darkness, rain came, and the four winds blew with such anger, that I held fast to a tree.
I watched the Four Riders raise their weapons into the air, without warning screaming their war cry, they led the attack.
Down to the battle they rode. They met the armies of the world with a mighty clash. I could feel the ground shake, the earth drank much blood that day. Each of the four was unto himself a whirlwind of doom.
When the smoke did clear many thousands were dead. There was much blood and gore. Their bodies lay broken and scattered across the battlefield like brown leaves blown by the wind. For several hours the four men searched the battlefield for some mysterious item, which I soon would discover were in fact four items, rings to be precise. These were no ordinary rings, which would have been much too small for my eyes to have detected at this distance. No, they were in fact four massive black rings, or so they seemed. And I saw the four ride together to the top of the hill, while below them the Soldiers of Death assembled, all those who would now swear allegiance to them.
And the Four spoke the words of the Warrior's Prayer.
"Gods Of War I Call You
My Sword Is By My Side
I Seek A Life Of Honor Free From All False Pride
I Will Crack The Whip With A Bold And Mighty Hail
Cover Me With Death If I Should Ever Fail
Glory Majesty Unity
Hail! Hail! Hail!."
And as I stood and looked on I heard the Armies of the World Hail them without end, and their voices of victory carried long and far throughout the land.
Often I have been asked questions concerning the identity of the four men I saw that glorious day, sadly I never knew the true identity of those four faceless warriors. I myself have come to regard them simply as "The Metal Kings" -An unknown chronicler
Basic plot: everyone wants to know the identity of the four faceless warriors, the good in the hopes that they can help defeat evil, and the evil seek them because they know they have the power to kill them. Interested parties also trying to find the four rings of power
This RPG mostly revolves around Onathus, the largest of the known civilizations now in existence, it is located on the continent of Anarthae, a name scarcely found in any written history or world map (pre or post Herodotus 450-420 BC), generally believed to be ancient Africa, or possibly Asia. The main city is called Thannhäusen ('German' historical name unknown even in Antiquity), which is the center of Onathusian culture. The legendary golden entryway known as Tannhäuser Gate guards the city, situated in the southern region. The gate is guarded by a foul beast known as a Khamigota (lit. flame-troll).
Available characters to adopt, both human and deity:
1. The Four Faceless Warriors
These four warriors are faceless and unnamed, ancient kings who desperately seek the four RINGS (silver, measuring roughly 8-10 inches in diameter, with runic engravings upon them), which they need to reestablish their rightful rule over Anarthae. One holds "A Sword Of Steel" and comes from somewhere in the North. The second comes from the South and bears "A Battle Ax" The third comes from the East and carries "A Spiked Club" While the rider who comes from the West wields "A Great Hammer Of War"
2. Conan
As a character within this RPG Conan should be written as a mixture between the character created by Robert E. Howard, the Conan films starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. And if you have seen the blasphemous remake you may also add some elements from that portrayal of the Conan character.
For additional information consult the following article.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conan_the_Barbarian
3. The Warrior-Mystic
A mysterious character from the land of Khem (Egypt), a region in the lower plains known as the Valley of the Kings. His origins are shrouded in a dark haze, the only hard evidence pertaining to his identity regards his father. According to legend his father was cursed with Lycanthropy. It has been suggested that this man resides in a curious state, somewhere between being alive, and being dead. He and his followers belong to a strange religious organization, which pays homage to a particularly odd item, known as The Hammer Of Hate. The cult promotes salvation through punishment and pain, and they are determined to bring this message of fear and violence to the lands of Anarthea.
4. The Cursed one
A mysterious, unnamed and tormented being, who walks between the world of Men and Gods, carried aloft by storm demons. This being casts no Shadow and is guilty of committing a terrible crime. Involved with a serpentine-like woman who possesses the gift of Witchcraft. He serves an evil master who promises resurrection, and to whom he makes sacrifices. Only he knows Why, Each Dawn he Dies
The Gods:
There are three main categories of divinities in this RPG world, the central god being Odin. There are also the Ancient Ones, mysterious extraterrestrial deities, rarely encountered in the world of Mortals. There are also cthonic gods (gods of the underworld) such as Abbadon.
The High Gods
1. Odin
Ancient Ones
1. A mysterious class of being, seemingly not associated with the material plain
2. Advocates of these beings are characterized by their propensity to bleed black blood when wounded.
3. They apparently require human sacrifice to honor them, and as payment for their services.
Underworld Gods
1. Abbadon, lord of Hades and the chief cthonic god.
2. The Guardian Of The Lost Souls, who waits at the gate of Hades, and leads the soul across its threshold. He is also known as The Keeper Of The Unavenged.
Creatures
1. A demon Horse named Black Death
2. The Krhamigota (Flame-troll)

I had become obsessed with discovering the identities of those four faceless man, ever since that day upon the hill I have searched for any information of their possible whereabouts.
My wanderings have led me to the great civilization of Onathus, which lays in the southern most region of Anarthae, beyond Tannhuasen gate. A grim, hidden desire to see the foul beast which guarded the legendary gate was not enough to make me risk my life however. I knew, as others did as well, that the only way that one might actually see the creature would be to commit some kind of severe transgression, such as vandalism, although even a slight misstep could lead to ones destruction. I had heard that travelers into the lands of Anarthea must pass directly beneath the gate, if one were to cross the threshold from the side, in an attempt to avoid the gate completely, that even this slight mistake could bring about an untimely death. The archway itself is regarded as divine by the inhabitants of the region. -the chronicler, scroll 17
These were the last words that The Sumerian had received from his mysterious friend, the writer description of the land intrigued him, and he had also heard rumors that one of the faceless warriors had taken up residence somewhere in the city of Thannhäusen. Seeing as he was already traveling toward Onathus The Sumerian decided to journey forth into the ancient lands of Anarthae, as he was particularly interested in the chroniclers stories regarding the foul beast at Tannhäuser Gate.

The village of Andal-Thul had been left charred and desolate, all its inhabitant were slain by the cloaked riders from the West. No one knew who they were, or from where they had come, the only sign as to their identity was the Great Hammer which they proudly displayed as they charged toward the village. Some of the more scholarly minded among the tribe indicated that they could have come from the dark land of Khem, one of the elders had professed to know the identity of the leader of the marauders, claiming him to be the dreaded Warrior-Mystic, whose father had been cursed with Lycanthropy, but those voices have now been silenced.

The mast had been completely torn away from the ship, leaving no possible means of motion through the rough seas. Tears ran down her cheeks as he heard the name Geraald Dwuin, Abbadon ran his shadowy claw trough her hair and she looked up surprised a long nail on her chin letting her look into his endless calming eye's "Rest little one the deed will be done. Abbadon's eye's worked as poison and soon she fell to sleep. Abbadon walked out of the building into the straight sun disappearing in the process as the sun removed him from eye sight. The little aged man was bald with a short grey beard as he worked as a smith melding tools and weapons. Abbadon looked over the shoulder of the man with no other sign of his presence than a dark cold wind that came trough the small hut but the fire was still warm. Abbadon did is simply with his bare hands shifting the grip on the hammer a little as he raised it into the air to hit again on the blade he now forged. The next hit was far too strong for a human hand and the hammer shot out of the mans grasp as it toughed the blade letting the other hand that held the blade also weaken so that the entire blade came upwards cutting itself in the mans face that screamed as the hot blade mutilated his face before Abbadon gave him a little though letting him instead of falling safely to the right to his left right into the burning oven.
