Characterโ€™s Name: Julian Rupert Maund-Campile
Age and Birth date: 19 - May 15th, 30 AFC
Ability: Julian has enhanced Sonic perception, allowing him to hear things alright, and the ability to teleport himself anywhere in his line of sight.
Bio and Personality: Julian hails from the city of Toronto, in the territory of Canada on Earth. He lived his early life between his mother and father in relative comfort. As he grew up he took an interest in philosophy and writing and film and, most of all, money. He grew obsessed with the acquisition of money. And, best of all, Julian found a way to get money, for he had discovered in private he had a power, the power to transport himself instantaneously from one place to the other. He also found that he could focus his hearing on one set of lips no matter how far away. Julian decided to test out his new found power in the worst way possible, by robbing a store. Julian teleported himself behind the cash register, took the money, and then quickly teleported himself away, before anyone even realized who the strange, stupidly masked man was. Julian escalated his crimes and became richer and richer, eventually dropping out of school for his money making passion. His parents, being awful people themselves, never asked questions though it was likely they knew. And of course, like all criminals, Julian was caught, though not during a robbery. In a park he was caught teleporting while trying to impress a girl. The authorities captured him for being Fisted and gave him the option between the Luna Academy or the Jupiter prison. Julian agreed to the training and was sent off on the next shuttle. He's not sure what to expect when he arrives and is not necessarily down on his capture. He still had his money in the bank and was going to train on a tropical island. Other than the fact he was forced to the downside of things haven't really sunk in.

So begins...

Julian looked out upon the sea from the deck of the ferry. He glanced to his right where, passed the few other people on the deck with him, the outline of an island was on the fog. "Getting close then," He muttered, to whoever would listen. No one did. In fact, he seemed to be the most optimistic person onboard, and he was there against his will. He turned to look at the rest. A mixture of tourists and refugees and perhaps among them another student or two. That was all Luna seemed to attract. He had noticed that when arriving at the continent from Earth. It looked great, the entire terraformed surface, a tropical paradise, but the people there look dingy, poor, depressed. It was Earth for those who couldn't afford Earth.

"Where are you getting off," A deep voice asked. Julian turned to his side to see an alien, a massive creature with a hard crusted head and tentacles coming out the side. It had beady eyes above a snout with large, sharp teeth poking out of it's closed mouth.

"The Academy Island, Windsor Island or whatever it's called," Julian replied. The creature chuckled, vibrating Julian's feet below him. "I'm heading to the town on the big island," The alien explained as it looked out onto the foggy evening waters. "I tried to go to Humanos but they did not let us on there."

"It's called Earth," Julian replied as he looked out.

"It's all the same to us, Human," The creature said. "We just need to find peace."

Julian stepped onto the harbor of the Student Centre. He looked up at the rocks above him, carved into their side a small walkway that led to the flat ground. "Right," Julian said as he readied himself. A moment later, he was gone from the wooden dock, and at the top of the rock stairs, his bags in hand. "Here we go," He muttered, stepped forward on the grass through the fog. Soon enough in the distance the outline of a large building came into view. Outside it were several students, who had formed a neat line. Julian was a moment later at the front of that line, inside at the front desk.

"Orientation?" Julian asked.

"Where do you think it is?" The secretary said blanking before blowing a large pink bubble between her lips. Julian glanced to the side, where, down a hall, a sign hung saying Orientation.

"Right," Julian said, stepping toward the hall, and wondering why there was a line behind him at all...

"Gruggulax," Professor Punts, a tall, bald man spoke as he stepped toward the alien. "The students have arrived, right into our hands."

Julian walked down the large halls and into the auditorium. Lining the walls were pods, inside them armoured figures. Julian walked further until he entered the auditorium, a grand space stretching back dozens of rows. At the front was the stage lined with a long table, seats behind it. Julian glanced at the empty stage before turning to find a seat. The auditorium wasn't full but the front was filling at a fast pace.

"Hey," Julian said to the a blonde girl in the front row as he sat beside her. He carefully placed his suitcase between his legs and glanced around the room, noticing everyone else there looked as confused as him. "Are there any second year students here?" He asked the girl beside him as more people began to enter, ranging from young children to those who looked as old as thirty.

From behind the curtain of the auditorium stage Professor Punts glared an eye out. "Gruggulux," He muttered as he watched the students enter. "This year I want things to be different. These things can be our saviour or our destruction. Which of the two is for us to steer."

Bekah had started to zone out. She felt pretty useless right now. What she wanted was for a nice little injured animal to waltz on in and plop down, ready for her to heal it. Of course, that was rather unlikely. Completely unlikely, actually. She sighed and thought about how as soon as this finished up, she was going to find her way to whatever clinic they had and make herself useful. She had no idea where it was at the moment, but that could be figured out.

She didn't realize at first when somebody sat down next to her and struck up a conversation. "Huh?" she said before processing what the messy haired boy said. "Oh, I don't know. I'm just a first year. I'm assuming you are too?" she said politely. He looked as confused as she was. He couldn't have been here any longer than her. She looked to the right at a group of kids who looked a lot more comfortable than them, which she could tell by their contrast of throwing paper wads and garbage at the stage compared to the way everybody else was stiffly and, for the most part, quietly taking their seats. "They look like they might know what's going on." She pointed at the group.

"Well ain't that a delightful name," Sam said sarcastically. "Is that really your middle name? Geez, no wonder you're here. If my parents had given me a name like that, I would've probably been sent straight to prison instead of having the choice to come here."

A sharp, barking laugh escaped her and she shook her head, dispelling the last of the fit of laughter.

"I should of gotten a grip," Julian scolded himself. "No really though, I'm Julian Maund. Earth." He said with a smile. The auditorium had filled up to near capacity now as the last of the students entered. "Looks like it's starting," He muttered as he sat in his chair and the lights of the auditorium dimmed. The curtain on stage raised and from behind it the faculty stepped forward, under a dozen teachers but still an impressive bunch. In their center was a large man with black, curly hair and beady eyes. He stepped forward and raised his arms out to the students before him.

"Welcome to the Luna Academy for the Fisted," The man said in a deep voice. "My name is Sir Wayne McKnight, my late father founded this Academy ten years ago, though he unfortunately could not live to see it's current glory... And so I am your headmaster, I am your warden."

McKnight placed his hands behind his back as he looked over the crowd. "Many of you have not been sent here willingly. The choice between the Jupiter Prison and the Academy is an obvious one to all. The world fears you, even here some will fear you... I know how that feels like, for I too am one of you," The large man said with an outstretched hand. "I too am Fisted. You are not monsters, you are not freaks of nature. You are powerful, and that power can either be a threat to humanity or an aid. We can teach you how to achieve either of to the fullest, but what road you choose is up to you..."

Julian looked up at the man who stood on the stage before them with a frown.

"And now, to tell you more about your curriculum, I hand the stage over to my colleague, Professor Gruggulax!" McKnight said, clapping his hands as to the podium a large, insectoid creature approached...

"Who does that?" Julian asked, referring to Sam's awful lies. "And okay."

Professor Punts walked forward. "Yes, thank you all for your patience. You will be staying on Tower Island and we have already posted your room assignments on the Tower's first floor. Thank you all again for your time." With that the teachers rose, bowed at the student's, and made their way back off the stage, leaving the student's in further confusion.

"Gotta be honest, this place isn't brilliant," Julian commented as the students began to raise, already in groups with the people they had sat with...
