Introduction
You see, a war is coming. For Psychic powers are developing in 1 in every a thousand people. Some people view these Psychics as monsters. Some Psychics view all humans as hating them, and the enemy. Others wish to keep to themselves. Some have compassion for the other, and wish to help them. Keep them safe from dangers that plan to attack the other. Oh, and the government is not being a huge ass and kidnapping people. Maybe. They might. Probably not. We really don't know.
SO many Psychic groups formed:
The Followers of Future:
Psychics that believe they are the future, whether through evolution or religious reasons. They believe that all humans must be exterminated, but they are (mostly) not crazy killers.
Tribes:
This is referred to as Psychics that really just keep to themselves and other psychics. They take no aggressive action against the humans, and, if they feel like they should, even help humans at times. However, they will take no large action in helping humans ether. Tribes are usually 3-5 people together. They do not organize with other tribes. (Note, all Player played characters who are this will be in one Tribe, and Tribes tend to act like a family. Additionally, the Tribes could turn the side of the upcoming war.)
The Protectors:
Psychics that actively help humans. They believe that even with their enhanced abilities, they are all equal people. Notably, if the government WAS kidnapping psychics, this would be the last group they take from. They help law enforcement, and even the FBI at times. They hate the followers, and have tried to help them see their point of view, without success.
Additonally, there are two psychics. That if the government was abducting people, they would try to get. Two people, who could change the war. One is pure hate, and can copy peoples powers, and can keep up to 5 at a time. He demands you follow him, or be destroyed. THe other wishes to survive with his tribe he has found. He harbors no hate towards humans. He has two powers.
There are also all sorts of types of psychics, both passive and triggered. There are also Psychic objects:
Psychic objects are items infused with a lot of psychic energy. Its nearly impossible to do on purpose.
Passive:
Lookers: Able to sense danger coming, and have a great memory. They can remember anything they see or hear.
Protectors: If their adrenaline increases, they form a protective shield instantly, that is much stronger then any other, to defend against fast projectile objects. Additionally, they also have a higher endurance.
Watchers: They are able to see the future every once and awhile. However, the future is also not definite, allowing them to possibly change it.
Sensors: They have increased 5 senses, and they are faster, stronger, and lighter.
Targeters: They don't miss. Ever.
Healers: They quickly regenerate when they are hurt, and broken bones heal in a day. Anyone they touch also heals quickly.
Trigger:
Pulser: They can create pulse fields from their bodies, ether large ones from their body, or smaller ones from their hands. These pulses can also be used to slow down falls.
Warper: Has the ability to short range teleport. The only thing they cant teleport through is anything thicker then 4 yards or military grade steel. Or near anything that's largely radioactive. Or something lined with gold.
Controller: Is able to control minds. Requires eye contact to give them an order in mind control. Requires a verbal order.
Puppeteer: Able to control objects like cars, dolls, plastic figures, bikes, scooters, and stuff like that.
Mover: Able to move things with their minds. Not exactly like Puppeteer, but somewhat similar.
Rifter: Like Warper, but his rifts can go a longer range. However, they take awhile (10 seconds at least) to open, and longer for bigger rifts. Additionally, Rifting too much at once can be dangerous to someones health. Its recommended to do only like 8 a day.
Houdini: Able to go invisible. Doesn't protect from heat and night vision.
Morpher: You are able to morph your genetic structure into an animal, and even some people (but that is MUCH harder)
Elemental: They can control an element.
Finders: They are able to locate psychics and psychic objects, excluding hiders and hider rings.
Hiders: Are able to hide people and objects from detection. Finders and Hiders tend to have a rivalry.
Any others suggested/thought of will be added.
Now, your probably running about the deception part. Well, there will probably be spies. And you never know someones motives. Who knows, perhaps one person is looking to control everyone. Or perhaps they are being bribed. You never could know with this sort of thing. But one thing is for certain. Total war is looming. And in a city with millions, who knows how many psychics there are. The fact is, you will need people you can trust a 100%.

Give your Universe life by adding a Mob, which are auto-replenishing NPCs your players can interact with. Useful for some quick hack-and-slash fun!
Mobs can be automated spawns, like rats and bats, or full-on NPCs complete with conversation menus. Use them to enhance your player experience!
