Introduction
Life doesnt always hand out a good hand, sometimes the hand it deals out is hard and unrelenting. Often filled with one bad thing followed by another and another. Seeing the pain in the world one family, with more money then they needed to survive, decided that they could help out and built a home to care for the unwanted, broken children and young adults that filled the streets of West Virginia.
The year was 1934, twenty year old Trina Marie Krane, her twin brother Charles, and younger sister Margo, had just come into Their inheritance from their parents tragic deaths. Now, the siblings had grown up with a silver spoon in their mouths and everything they could ever want was basically handed to them. The five years after their parents deaths they were forced into an orphanage and once the twins were eighteen to count every penny as they were placed on a minimum allowance until the twins twentieth birthday which brought the to the siblings attention that there were people all over the city that lived like that their whole lives, that orphanages were packed full with unwanted children, and that sometimes people were forced into situations that broke their spirits to survive. This is where the idea of creating a special home to help these people came from.
They knew that it couldn't become just another orphanage and they knew that it also wouldn't be able to help just anyone, so they set up a criteria. It was a rather simple criteria;
1) Only those between the ages of thirteen and twenty-one could seek shelter at the home.
2) The family income had to be less the two dollars a person bi weekly.
3) There had to be reasonable belief that the child or young adult would be forced into an unsavory life direction to help their families or for their own survival.
Tragedy struck the small Krane family when Trina came down with fever that ultimately took her life, in honor of her the remaining siblings finished building their special home for youngsters and called it "Trina's Place." The 'mansion' has lots of room for the residents to grow and have fun, deep set in the 'wilds' of West Virginia. The drive up the drive way to the house takes twenty minutes all by its self this creates the feeling of safety and security because it allows the residents the freedom of knowing that there is no way their past could find them there and even if it somehow did, they would know at least twenty minutes before it got to the door. Over the years it has grown, gaining more rooms, more land, more things to help the residents better themselves and their futures.
Due to the fact that the goal of Trina's Place was to protect, teach, and better its residents it has some pretty strict rules that are enforced severely but all the residents sooner or later realize that the rules aren't there to make them feel suffocated but protected. the rules are:
1) Sunday-Thursday curfew is 10 o'clock, if not in the house you will be locked out.
2) Weekly chores will be completed in a timely matter or else the person risks a weekend curfew or expulsion from the house.
3) If caught having intercourse once the persons will have added chores for the next three weeks. Twice the persons will be kept separated and will have restrictions placed on weekends plus added chores, three times and the persons in question will be removed from the house.
4) Drugs or any kind are not allowed on the property, the person or persons caught with them will be immediately removed. Alcohol and tobacco are fine as long as the resident can legally purchase it themselves. If found to be abusing alcohol, a strict therapy schedule will be enforced with expulsion from the house being the only other option.
Now, over eighty years later, Trina Ray Krane is in charge of the long running home. As the grand daughter of Charles Krane she carries the deceased Trina's name and the responsibility to continue on his legacy with the help of her cousin's Veronica and Nathan.

Im glad you are interested in my roleplay :) so your criteria is kinda hair to meet but here are my suggestions.
Now, these are just suggestions and I understand if you dont use any of them but there were the best i could find that fir your criteria in some way.

She can glam up nice but she plays alot of the girl next door types of characters and those are typically pretty tomboyish. She has gone through several different hair shades in the past couple of years so im sure you can find a shade that fit your idea.

Ok, so she doesnt have the hair color you wanted but she has the punk rocker thing going on that always makes me think that she feel asleep for a couple of days in a row without washing her makeup off.

I'd just like to show that I'm interested, but I'm unable to find a suitable face-claim for my character(s).
If you know of anything that might help, or any suggestions, I'd be happy to hear it!
My idea is to go with a female, dark blonde/light brown, tomboy who doesn't look like a million dollar actress. Someone who's lived on the streets for a long time, yanno? Anyway... a directory or suggestion would be super helpful! Thanks!
And, I'd just like to say how in love with this idea I am. I love these almost slice-of-life kinda things, where it focuses on emotional trauma, and the different methods of coping. That said, prepare yourself when I unveil my characters.

Miss Trina's Home For The Broken
Hello, Im JustBeingMe. You guys can call me Q (my REAL name starts with a Q so it works.) I just joined this site, mostly because a friend of mine told me an idea of mine (along with my CS and characters for the idea) were being used without permission on here. Now, that has nothing to do with this idea.
This idea is about the different types of struggles teens and young adults go through and instead of facing them alone they get to meet others close to their age that are also facing those challenges and get to live in a safe place while dealing with them. This game focuses mostly on our characters finding themselves after going through a tragedy of some sort (abuse, losing their families, being kicked out, failing to commit suicide, miscarriage, drug addiction, etc.).
Im really excited for this idea to come to fruition, When I first started roleplaying (years and years ago) I played a similar game, I would link it to the intro of the game if I could find it but I cant sadly, it went really well and it is probably the main reason i still roleplay today and share my writing (even though im not the best) with the world.
Anyways...
To reserve a character I will need an FC, Hex code, and I would like their tragedy but it isn't necessary.
