This roleplay starts out on an average day with an average boy just going to school, like he normally does. There's nothing new or important about this event, that is until he gets there and everyone around him seems to be excited for some reason. It turns out that there is talk all over the school about a new student. Not only that, but this new student is famous. The rumors keep changing from one thing to the next this new student could be a movie star, a model or anything at this point. Classes begin, and this boy just so happens to be in the same class as this new student, and everyone in the classroom is going wild over these rumors trying to figure out just who this new student is. The time finally comes and it turns out the new student is the new famous pop star, he had been touring for quite a while, but the school he used to go seems to have forgotten about him.

The boy got the honor of having the pop star's desk be right next to his. The day goes on to be as normal as it possibly can, with a famous pop star in the classroom. Every second of silence was taken up by asking the boy questions about his life, asking him to sing for them, or asking why he was even in a public school. During lunch however, was when things got crazy. Some girl starts to flirt with him and asks him to date her. He, clearly uninterested, points to the boy that had happened to be walking by and claims that he's his boyfriend.

From this point on, the two pretend to be a couple, and it starts turning into the real thing. Unfortunately this puts the normal everyday kid into a spotlight he didn't want to be in. Journalists trying to get every little thing they can about these two. Things start to go even more south when it's found out that the pop star already has a girlfriend, but their relationship was just not public.

"You look like you're dressed to go on stage. Are you sure you want to wear that on your first day back to school?" Questioned a judgmental mother staring over her newspaper at her son that had just made his way down the stairs. The son looked down at what he was wearing, it wasn't like his mother was wrong. It was probably an exact outfit of what he had worn on stage at one point. Most of his clothes were his stage clothes, but that's what he liked to wear. Besides, it was his first day back, and he didn't want to just go to school in a pair of jeans and a band t-shirt, he felt like he had to do her best to make a first impression, so he went with one of his more favorite outfits. Though, he had to admit that it was a bit weird he was trying so hard to make a good impression on kids he had known in elementary school. They were his peers, not some big record label that he was trying to strike a deal with.

His outfit wasn’t exactly fancy, it wasn’t a suit or even a nice jacket. He wore a long sleeve black button up, and he had rolled the sleeves up to his elbows. On top of the black button up, he wore a red silk vest that stayed opened, though it was meant to be buttoned as well. His jeans were dark washed and ripped, but instead of his light skin peeking out from the tears, a bright red popped out from the leggings he wore underneath. On his head was gray beanie that hid his mess of dark brown hair. He knew that most kids probably wouldn’t wear something like this, but it was actually rather comfortable and he honestly didn’t care that much about what people thought of his outfits on or off stage.

"What's wrong with looking like I'm on stage? This is my favorite outfit, besides it's not like I'm wearing a costume. These are normal clothes," Adrian shrugged as he made his way to the kitchen to make a bowl of cereal for himself.

"I think it looks fine. Adrian looks like Adrian. But are you even sure you want to go back to school, Adi? You haven't seen these people in like three years," His younger brother asked. "They probably won't recognize you or they'll want to use you for your money. I mean, it seems a little weird to be wasting your time with going back to school for a whole year, when you're as popular as you are. You could be out traveling the world, or making a new album."

"Wow, everyone's so judgmental today," Adrian sighed, sitting down at the table next to his brother. "I'm not gonna back out now. Mom and dad already went through the trouble of enrolling me, plus the school is letting me come in late to avoid crowding and such. I'm going to school, for the whole year so I can graduate with the people I grew up with. Whether they remember me, recognize me, extort me for money, or not."

The two sitting at the table stared at him for a long moment before shrugging it off and going back to eating their breakfast. They all had somewhere to be and to worry about Adrian's first day back would be far from their minds if they were all late. He was sure that there would be more arguments to come, but he wasn't going to worry about those until they were there. He had his own problems to worry about, mainly getting to school and getting through his first day back. It had felt longer than three years since he had been in the small town and living a normal teenage life. He felt like he was going to school for the first time in his whole life, which just made him even more nervous.

Adrian arrived at the school at the time that he had been told to come by the principal. It was right after the bell had rung signalling that anyone getting to class at this point would be tardy. It felt weird to be walking around when nobody else was there. He could see people through the windows already in class, and trying to pay attention to the teachers. He wasn't so sure if going back was such a good idea at this point. A part of him just wanted turn back and leave. I could just leave, nothings stopping me from doing that. I could just go back home, get to work on my next album and be home schooled. I'm sure my friends have already moved on. He thought as he got closer and closer to the entrance.

His pace got slower the closer he got to the doors, knowing that once he walked in there was no turning back. Well, there was, it would be just as easy to leave after entering the hallways, but something kept telling him that the entrance was the point of no return. His legs kept bringing him closer to the doors though, even with his mind racing on the idea of just going back home. He had no idea how these people were going to react to seeing him again. He didn't know anything about them, and it had already been a few weeks into the school year. He had no idea where they were with their lessons.

Everything will be fine, you're worried about nothing. You can catch up, you already took all the tests to show that you were at the right grade level. It'll become normal in a few days, and you'll get to see your old friends again. Everything will be great. He took a deep breath as his hand shakily reached the metal door handle and pulled the heavy door open. He'd just have to face his fears now. The halls were just as empty, with a few teachers rushing to their classes or to the office and a few students passing by to go to the bathroom or run to their classes late. He was lucky that nobody stopped him or even noticed him. He just walked to his classroom in peace.

Though, that peace ended the moment he walked into his classroom. The silence of the empty halls was destroyed by the whispers that grew louder with every additional voice. Soon, the classroom was just filled with people trying to talk over one another as they realized who the new student was. Adrian looked over at the teacher, who had been caught off guard by the sudden disruption and just stared back at the new student. This was not what he had expected on his first day back. His classmates all talking so loudly about him, right in front of him and some even going so far as to shout his stage name to get his attention. He felt like he had just walked on stage and was about to start singing. Maybe his mother was right about the outfit, he should have stuck with something simple for his first day.

The teacher quickly got the attention of the class back in order, though it had taken a minute of yelling over the others and threats of detention. "Everyone, settle down! We've got a new student joining us today, would you like to introduce yourself?" The teacher turned to Adrian.

Adrian blinked for a moment not quite sure what to even say, "Well, I'm Adrian Walker, you can call me Adi or Ian or Adrian, I don't really have a preference. And, I'm looking forward to learning with you and making some new friends while I'm here." That must have sounded so cheesy and stupid. he could recognize a few faces in the classroom of old classmates and friends. Though, he didn’t see any recognition on their faces past the starstruck look everyone was giving him.
"Alright, Adrian, why don't you take a seat next to Lucas there," The teacher pointed to the empty seat. Adrian nodded and sat down, trying to shake of the nerves that he felt and the thoughts of running away. This was going to be his life for the rest of the school year.

Lunchtime finally rolled around after a long morning of class being disrupted every few moments by other students asking him what it was like being a pop star. He tried so hard to just keep himself occupied with the lectures and notes, but with every pause the teacher took, came another question from one of the students. Now he had broken from the group of people that were constantly asking him questions, some things he didn't even know about like the latest celebrity gossip going around. He just wanted a moment of quiet.

He grabbed his lunch and sat down at a table that nobody was sitting at. Before he could even think about eating his lunch, someone tapped his shoulder. She looked over at who had decided to do such a thing and ended up face to face with a girl grinning at him. He tried not to look annoyed about this. It was possible that the girl just wanted to sit next to him or recognized him from before he became Ian Bishop. He didn’t know anything about the girl, and for all he knew she wasn’t trying to bombard him with questions and comments like everyone else. He even tried his best to smile.

"Hey, Ian,” The smile dropped on Adrian’s face as the girl spoke, using that name had become a rather bad sign, β€œI’d like to introduce myself. I’m Emily, but you can call me Emmy. I’m the head cheerleader at this school, and I was wondering if you’d like to go get some actual lunch together. The stuff here is garbage.”

Adrian shook his head, "I'm alright, thanks. It was nice to meet you Emily.”

"Oh, come on, it’ll be fun! The entire cheer squad is going and maybe we’ll even go somewhere else and have some other kind of fun,” The girl got close and bent forward. Adrian had to look away because the girl’s cleavage was right in his face. He felt absolutely uncomfortable with what this girl was suggesting, it even gave him a sick feeling in his stomach.

”No thanks, I’d rather eat my lunch here,” Adrian muttered.

"You won't be disappointed,” She continued her breath practically on his ear. Adrian had to shrink away. He needed a bodyguard, this school was dangerous.

"I said no," He finally stated clearly and calmly.

"Why not?" The girl asked, offended by this point. She had finally straightened up and looked rather angry at Adrian for this statement. The last thing he wanted to do was start a fight. He had just gotten back to school, but he didn’t want to go out with the entire cheer squad. Both were bad for ideas either because of publicity or because of the girlfriend he already had.
"Because," He quickly realized that this girl was not gonna go away if he just told her he didn't want to go. And if Emily did, it would only happen after creating an awful scene where he looked like the bad guy. He bit the bottom of his lip looking around the cafeteria for anyone to help him out. Unfortunately nobody seemed to want to meet his pleading gaze. He had to think quick, and an idea sparked just as the boy that he had sat next to the entire morning started to walk by. He seemed like a nice guy and he was pretty sure he recognized him from before he left school to be a big pop star. If he remembered correctly, the boy was nice, and he didn’t seem that interested in Ian Bishop. He'd be perfect. He pointed right at Lucas. "Because Lucas is my boyfriend, and we were just about to eat lunch together."

"What? Him? There's no way," The girl looked over at Lucas, with a glaring look of jealousy. Adrian peeked over the head cheerleader’s shoulders to try and look like he needed help. He just needed him to know that this girl was not leaving him alone and he needed his help just this once. β€œYou’re not gay.”

”No...I’m bisexual,” Adrian corrected. Not that it mattered, it seemed. The girl still looked absolutely offended at this fact. Why did he have to please everyone?

The morning routine at the Benson's house was quite the mess - like usual. Leia was running up and down the stairs, making this loud squeaky and bumpy noises "dum dum dum dum dum" with her fast steps. Probably having a hard time deciding on what to wear, ending up running between her room and the laundry. Rex was scratching on the front door, while barking like crazy at the neighbors cat who sat just outside the window teasing the poor dog. And Logan was busy yelling at his two younger siblings, trying to make them hurry up. "Get your sorry asses down here NOW, or you will have to RUN all the way to school" the older brother sounded, with a slightly tiresome voice and Lucas could almost imagine his brother rolling his eyes, just by hearing the tone in his words.

Today was just like any other day for the three. Parents out of town (work related) and the house was filled with speed, noises and action. Lucas tried to hold back a yawn, but failed, as he stepped in to their small, chaotic kitchen, getting greeted by the sight of Logan making toast bread and coffee. He sat down on "his" chair with a thud and a dejected sight, opening a can of energy drink and taking the first sip of today. His hair was messy and still wet after the morning shower, and his clothes looked "depressed" as always. Black skinny torn jeans, a grey "bleached" t shirt and a black zip hood. And the rest of him was just looking like he'd woken up just seconds ago. Dark bags under his hazelnut brown eyes and plump lips still red after brushing his teeth.

"Would it hurt trying to be cheerful for a change? And dressing in something else than this Halloween costume?... Plus, did you really finish that book review homework last night?" Logan went on like an overprotective mom, while taking a seat and correcting his glasses. The toast where ready and clock where ticking - giving them approximately 15 minutes before they had to get in the car. Lucas shook his shoulders. "Tchh.. Actually i did.." his words where dry and grumpy, running his fingers through his hair before taking another sip of the "monster" energy drink. "Oh. Is that so? And why do i see paint on your fingers? Or like the detectives likes to call it: catching someone red handed"

Lucas flinched a few times, trying to play innocent. But glancing down he realized how his brother where right, he held his hands out and instantly tried to scratch the paint off his fingertips and nails. Looks like his new oil based colors where stubborn, not even disappearing after his morning shower. Well well, it was not like he was vain about his appearance. "I did finish my homework, and had time over for my painting!" he snapped through his teeth, refusing to look at his annoying brother. More like, he had stayed up all night - getting a maximum of 3 hours sleep. Being the reason he did not eat any breakfast. The energy drink had a stronger effect on an empty stomach - and Lucas did not want to fall asleep during class again since the principle where tired off dealing with Lucas surprise "naps".

After driving Leia to middle school, Lucas arrived at school - watching the silver audi disappear as Logan continued to his work at the local pharmacy. It was not like he was greeted by a bunch of friends - more like dragging his footsteps to class with this strong aura screaming "outsider". Being quite invisible to the other students as they kissed each others cheeks, babbling about the weekend and complaining about the book review homework, he sat down in "his" seat - in the back off the classroom, all alone.

The chattering went on. Apparently, they where expecting a new classmate today. Despite the teachers and whom ever it was, trying to keep "something" a secret - the ideas where taking form. Like some kind of guessing game who the new student was. A model, an actor, or maybe a famous football player? Teens be teens, and gossip where prone to grow like weed. The moment the door opened, it was like a bomb went off in the classroom. Clearly, the identity of the new boy was beyond everyone's expectations.

Lucas was not so fascinated tho, he just sat down and kept to himself - even when Adrian took the seat beside him. Being an artist, Lu did have the gift of a photographic memory - and he did have a vague memory of a -at the time- short and brown-haired happy boy, who suddenly disappeared.. That was years ago tho.. Wasn't he named Adrian? But it was not like Lucas had any clue/memory about him being famous.. But then, Lucas was not "up to date" on celebrities. His little sister, Leia, would normally tease him about how he was "living under a rock".

The class went by and the lunch was next up. The cafeteria was crowded as usual, but whenever Lucas passed by, the conversations tend to get quieter and students avoided looking at his gloomy figure. That did not stop Lucas tho, he just went on with his daily life. Standing in line, waiting to buy (surprise surprise) an energy drink from the cafeteria. In the corner of his tired eyes, he could see the new "celeb" boy getting attacked by Emily, the queen bee (and head cheerleader). For a brief moment, Lucas almost felt pity for the guy. Emmy was widely known for getting her way, and if she decided on a boy - he did not have any choice in the matter.

The can was freezing cold in his hand, as he turned around and started walking towards the back of the cafeteria. "Because Lucas is my boyfriend, and we were just about to eat lunch together." a voice reached his ears. In that moment, it was like the time had stopped. Lucas froze in his movement, turning his head slowly towards Adrian and Emily while holding his breath- lips slightly open out of surprise and his face paler than before. Normally, he was very fast thinking, and quite smart. But right now - he just could not grasp the situation. Lucas was Adrians boyfriend. Lucas? That was HIS name. Looking around, he could not see any other Lucas'es in sight.

"What? Him? There's no way," Emily exclaimed with a loud voice. The gossips had already started, students staring at Lucas like he was even a bigger freak than normal. His grip around the freezing can was convulsive and his fingers had almost gone numb from the cold. But looking at Adrian and meeting the gaze of his desperate eyes, made Lucas realize the situation. He cleared his throat and took a deep breath. "Sorry girls, but he's actually telling the truth".

Lucas did not believe his own words, why had he said that? And why did his legs steer towards Adrian - taking a seat opposite him - forcing Emmy to stand up. The situation was just.. unreal. And why'd Adrian chose Lucas out of all people? That was probably the worst choice one could possibly make.. Opening the energy drink with a "pchhht" he noticed how Emily where still standing up beside them with her eyes wide open. "Even if you are bisexual... you must be joking..him?? seriously??!!" she cried out, her voice suddenly changing from seductive to cold and offensive.

Lucas could not help but to fire off one of his "crooked smiles" meeting her furious eyes with his dead look, one raised eyebrow and dark tired eyes - if looks could kill. "My my, that was quite offensive. I do have feelings, for your knowledge. And not to brag or anything.. but im probably twice as pretty as you are under all that make up, and my boobs are actually real.." Lucas said calmly and bit his lip in a playful but innocent manner. Sure, he was the outsider and a freak - but he still knew how to talk. And being very perceptive made him quite good at "reading/seeing through people"... Knowing exactly what secrets to spill to hurt them the most.

Emily turned silent, and simply turned around and walked away. Lucas sighted and scratched his neck, correcting the hood a bit. The atmosphere in the cafeteria was slowly returning to "normal". Students talking and the sound of chairs moving and some ancient power ballad playing on the radio by the checkout. Finally Lucas turned his attention towards this new guy... Letting his dark and mysterious eyes travel from top to bottom trying to "read" Adrian...Nope, nothing.. When done, he simply just stared in to his eyes with his custom gloomy look - not being shy or treating him different than others. Lucas had (for a change) done nothing wrong. It was Adrian who had some explanation to do...

"Seriously? Why me?..." his voice where sharp like a knife and his dead eyes where narrow and questioning. "Was it so obvious that im single? He was actually a bit hurt. And he was not going to play "nice" and protective anymore. No, Lucas was quite upset. And just because Adrian or "Ian" was a celeb and looked like a Ken-doll or something, did not mean he was going to get special treatment...

Adrian sighed in relief after the girl had left. He had expected more to come from the interaction, he knew how some people could go crazy over being near someone famous. He didn't really understand it himself, it was just terrifying to be on the other end. He was uncomfortable with people doing that sort of thing to him. Though, there was good reason for that. He's been stalked before and there were a few close calls with some of the more obsessed fans. They'd go out of their way just to catch sight of him, or get close to him and there were a few incidences that he never wanted to talk about again. Either way, it left him terrified of people like Emily, and he was desperate to get out of that situation. He just also had an image to protect. Maybe this school thing wasn't exactly the right thing to do. He probably would have been better just going through home school.

Then the new danger arrived, having to explain why himself. It wasn't that he didn't want to do that, but Lucas seemed to send shivers down his back. Like, he was a new kind of dangerous from what Emily was. While, Adrian didn't mind the dark clothes, actually finding them quite cool and reminding him of some of the other outfits he'd seen his favorite bands wear. That was all just fine. He never had a problem with what people wore, since he also didn't exactly dress like a normal person. It was mainly the eyes that was the cause of his goosebumps. The dark, tired eyes just screamed school shooter to him. He remembered those eyes from before though, and tried to calm any alarms going off in his head. It was likely that Lucas was just tired all the time. Teenagers were like that. They'd stay up late all the time and then have to make their way through classes being dead tired. He didn't know Lucas that well to be judging him that harshly.

Adrian knew better than to do that, he was sure that Lucas was nice. Though, his tone of voice when asking his questions didn't really help his case. All it did was make those alarms in Adrian's head start running again. He took a deep breath and calmed down before he started to answer. He had to make sure that what he was saying was true. "Well, I needed a quick way out. Emily didn't seem like she was going to leave me alone, and I've...I've been harassed before," Adrian had crossed his arms and stared at the food on his tray. It really didn't look all that appetizing anymore. He was also just more than harassed a little bit, but he didn't really want to bring that up.

He glanced back up at his classmate, trying to judge his mood, but it was hard to do. The hood got in the way and really the boy just looked tired. "Anyway, I picked you because..." He trailed off for a moment, realizing that this was going to sound weird and silly. Still, it was the truth and he wasn't going to just hide that from him. "I used to go to this school district when I was younger. We shared an art class in seventh grade...actually we sat next to each other in that class too. I don't remember you ever getting into any serious trouble, or causing anyone harm. You seemed nice to me, and you were close enough to the situation where you could hear me and see me."

Yeah, this all must have sounded strange. It sounded like he had planned this all out in advance when it really was sort of just a quick decision, that he was trying to explain. It was more random chance than anything else. "Anyway, I really just picked at random and hoped for the best. I really didn't even think about you already being in a relationship or anything. I'm really sorry I got you messed up in all of this. And you most certainly don't have to continue this, I can easily just say that we ended things and we can go our separate ways."

Lucas glanced towards the door, just making sure the cheerleader had found her way out and vanished from the scene. Sure, how she had just given up without a fight was quite..odd.. considering how stubborn and prideful these girls could be, plus having in mind that Adrian was a famous celebrity. Lucas fetched a sandwich from his pocket, removed the plastic packaging, and took a bite. Maybe it wasn't so weird, not if you where familiar with the school and knew about Lucas (which most students did) - reason for her early farewell was most likely caused by the "Lucas-effect". Now when he came to think off it, he had actually dealt with the cheerleading squad once before. Suffering their "wrath" after accidently beating up the captain of the football team, who just so happen to be the "secret" sex buddy of half of the girls in the squad. Lucas admitted to himself tho, how the girls had been quite difficult, and more terrifying than all the boys he had dealt with- put together. But even so, he managed to walk away as the winning hand. Taking another bite from his chicken sandwich, he noticed a flash of relief on the new boys face.

"Relax.. Worst thing she could do is probably suffocate you with her fake boobs... Or scratch your eyes out with those french manicure claws of hers.." words soft and teasing. He continued with his lunch while listening to Adrians explanations. When hearing the situation getting repeated in the victims own words, Lucas glanced towards the windows and "spaced out". Putting his hand on his forehead, still chilly from holding that cold can for too long. He felt bad for jumping to conclusions. Plus, he needed to calm down and restrain the chaos going on in his brain. "Seriously, forget about it.. I understand.. Well maybe i can't imagine that harassing a celebrity thing.. But i do understand why you did what you did - and i don't blame you. Okey? Sorry for getting all upset for no reason" Lucas was probably the most understanding person in this room, maybe even too understanding.

When hearing about how he'd attended this school before. Lu raised his eyebrows a bit. Not that he was surprise, it was more a confirmation of what he'd already guessed. "Yess i did remember you.. Art class... That sounds like me alright.. But im not the same little boy anymore..as you can tell.. A lot can change in 3 years" Lucas mumbled and took a last bite of his lunch, rinsing it down with his drink.

The lunchbreak had really flown by too fast, and soon it was time for the gym class (sports) followed by math. Lucas suddenly noticed how the students around them where staring and whispering. They'd probably been doing it all along, just that he hadn't payed attention. "They don't really act like a couple"...."Maybe i can make Ian cheat with me" he could hear voices saying. Making Lucas roll his eyes and sight. "Don't they have better things to do" he said to himself. Oh gosh, poor Adrian. If Lucas where to walk out, they would probably be all over him again like hungry vultures. But then, this was not his problem. So Lucas stood up from his seat, stretched his body with a yawn and rested his eyes down on his "boyfriend". Gray beanie holding back some wild locks of brown hair, and red leggings peeking throung the ripped parts of his jeans. He did actually resembled that guy on the posters hanging in Leias room... But that could not be.

"Thank you for honoring me with your company.. it was a pleasure having lunch with you... DARLING" First part was discrete and humble, only meant for Adrians ears. But then raising his voice slightly when saying that last word "darling", just to make sure the closest students could hear it. Actually he did felt a bit more cheerful with having company for a change. It was kind of nice not having to sit all alone in silence the whole lunch.. So just because of this, he felt "grateful" - and had to think of a way to pay it back. Was there something he could do to help? Maybe there was...

He broke the distance between them. Took 2 steps towards Adrian and leaned forward. "Im not going to shoot you or anything.. like i would fit a gun in these tight pockets anyways.. so just sit still and..let me help you" a discrete but steady voice. It was not like he was going to kiss the guy.. like that would ever happen.. But at least he could do something to "hold up the act" and help Adrian get through this day.. Not sure if he would come back to this school at all after what happened today. Lucas wrapped one arm around the neck of Adrian, also being his "boyfriend" for the moment, leaning in towards his ear. Already now, he could hear people going wild in the background. Jealous gasps, dreamy sights and a humming sound of voices chattering. Lucas did not mind, it was not like he had an "image"or a good reputation to defend. His image could simply not get any worse. But suddenly being the center of attention, with all eyes on him (or mainly Adrian) was something new and made him slightly uncomfortable. He continued with his other arm, letting it rest against Adrians well toned shoulders.

"I trust you end this.. As soon as possible. When you are ready..." he whispered. It was not like his act was romantic or seductive in any way. Sure, when watching the scene from a distance it might look intimate. But it was really just quiet words traveling the short distance between Lucas lips to Adrians ear. He straightened up again and pulled down the hood, now exposing his face a bit more clear - making himself look less scary.

"We have gym now. But i will not participate, so you will eather see me sitting on the grandstand.. or we'll meet in math.." he explained then suddenly firing off his crooked smile again. "And btw.. good luck. If you do get in to any more trouble - feel free to join me. But im guessing someone famous like you don't wanna be friends with someone like me"..

The school bells sounded, a high pitched ringing followed by the sound of moving chairs and students heading off to their classrooms. For them, it was time for gym class. Lucas turned around and started to walk away, raising one hand over his head as this "see yaah-gesture".

Sorry if i "fast forward" to the gym class. Adrian can talk back ofc, and maybe even follow Lucas if he wants to xp Or just continue with the day and the classes :) Surprise me hah.

Adrian smiled a bit when Lucas said he remembered him. Though, he was sure that they hardly talked to each other or even did much more than have that one class where they sat next to each other and attempted to finish their art projects in the time frame they were given. It was still something more than that starstruck look everyone else had given him, nobody else seemed to remember Adrian Walker past Ian Bishop. It was a little disappointing, he had hoped his old friends would at least be able to see past the fame and they could hang out once again. Emily, happened to be one of his old friends, but back then she was a lot more pleasant to be around and not as pushy. With the whole event with Emily, though, he realized that what he had hoped for was unlikely to happen and that going back to school would just have to be something he did for himself rather than for his friends.

He was used to the stares that everyone was giving them, it came with the fame that he had. They didn't bother him as much as they used to, not with all the experience he has with being on stage. He was more used to the spotlight now than being invisible. Which was what made this whole situation even more weird for him. People were still staring at him and the recognized him, but not as the kid that used to go to this school. That kid apparently was invisible to them. It was a strange feeling. The talk around them still got to him, but he was sort of numb to what they were saying. He's heard much worse before, and while he really didn't want to hear it at all, he knew he didn't have much of a choice.

Adrian had to cover his mouth fast and turn away from the crowds around them as best he could with that whole darling thing. He knew he shouldn't have laughed, but it was so random and didn't at all fit with what he had been saying before that. He was sure to the rest of the people it looked like he was trying to hide a blush, but in actuality he was really just trying to hold in laughter so it didn't seem like a complete joke. It did work in his favor, because when he finally calmed down there was a slight reddish look to his cheeks. Though, with Lucas' next action Adrian couldn't help but actually blush. He hadn't expected Lucas to get that close at all or even try to make this whole thing look real. It wasn't supposed to be at all.

He tried to focus on Lucas' words, but it was hard to do. People around them weren't exactly silent and there was the whole heat creeping into his face which he was panicking about. He wanted it to stop or go away but the more he thought about it the more it continued. By the time the whole thing was done, Adrian had caught none of what was just said and his face was pretty red. He tried his best to look away from Lucas and keep calm from whatever had just happened.

Still, as Lucas finally left there Adrian couldn't help but make this whole thing even more a joke. It might only be a joke that they would get but it was sort of fun to play along. "See you in gym, babe," Adrian said as loud as possible while still sounding sweet and sincere. Everyone in the cafeteria seemed to erupt with more noise, though they couldn't see Adrian once again holding in his own laughter.

With that, the famous pop star ate as much of his lunch as he could stomach and headed off to gym. Unfortunately, the way there wasn't great, with people catching up to him and asking him all sorts of questions. Most of which he had answered before, but this was just getting a little ridiculous. Still, he gave them a smile and replied very nicely and smoothly. By the time he'd gotten to the locker rooms to change into his gym clothes, he had a small crowd following him. He ducked into the locker rooms, only managing to get away from them all. It seemed they were from a different class at least the boys were. With that Adrian pulled on his gym clothes, a light tank top that showed off the large water color fox tattoo he had on his shoulder blade and a pair of shorts. He wanted to be comfortable rather than stylish after all.

After the class gathered and stretched the gym teacher told them they'd be running on the track for a mile then playing a game of soccer. That was simple enough. Though, while the gym teacher was talking, Adrian made a point to search out Lucas. Once he found the boy, he smiled and waved before going back to listen to the teacher. About halfway through gym though, Adrian walked up to the teacher and talked for a small bit, before grabbing a water bottle from a nearby vending machine and making his way to Lucas. "Hey, you looked like you could use some company," Adrian smiled as he sat down next to him.

Lucas where sitting on the grandstand, his back resting against the iron bars behind him and his legs where crossed in front of him on the bench. In his knee, he had his sketchbook and some pencils. Sun where shining and in front of him the sport field was slowly getting more and more crowded with students. Also making the outside quite noisy - while waiting on the teacher. Lucas was never a part of the gym classes - as a result of this note Logan had written ---about Lucas having asthma, which was part true! Instead he normally killed the time with drawing. And at the moment, his hand where moving frenetically as he was sketching like a mad man. For some unknown reason, he just felt the inspiration flowing - and had to express it into art. For now: creating an rough stormy ocean scenery with an old man holding an lantern, seen from behind and in a crooked angle. But instead of using grey, blue and green colors- he was thinking about making the future painting red and black. Who said art had to be realistic? As long as it moved people in mysterious ways, and ventilated his own emotions.

Every now and then, he could not help but to sneak a peak over the top of his sketchbook - finding Adrian among the students (which btw wasn't so hard) he did obviously have a talent for "being in the spotlight". Suddenly he perceived a smile and a wave. This took him by surprise, but instead of responding - Lucas raised his sketchbook to hide his face behind it. A part of him had hoped for Adrian to just move on and ignore him like the rest of the school. Lucas was not the kind of person fit to hang out with a famous celeb - and least of all suitable for playing his fake boyfriend. The whole situation was just comical - and he could not help but to smile thinking back on the "darling / babe" thing in the cafeteria.

But he shook it off and continued with his drawing.

"Hey, you looked like you could use some company," a voice awoke him from his little bubble, causing him to quickly close his sketchbook with a "slam". He was not totally comfortable with showing his work to people, especially those he did not knew to well. It was not like he had bad self esteem over his talent or anything. Lucas knew he was good, and he was even selling his paintings online for quite a lot of money - trying to save up for a car. But he wasn't using his own name tho, instead his signature was Sac B. (luCAS - SAC. And then B for Benson ofc). His art was after all an image of his emotions, and showing it to people was kind of like walking around naked.

"Oh do i now?" he answered quite amused over the comment. Lucas was used to being alone, and that was the norm for both him and the other students. So i wouldn't say he had looked "out of place" sitting alone on the stands. It was quite the opposite - seeing Lucas with company made people look twice and rubbing their eyes. It was truly a rare sight.

"To be honest, im quite used to being alone. So it's totally fine by me if you just "break up" and start ignoring me" he said. And then something caught his attention, a beautiful fox in watercolor style - positioned on Adrians shoulder blade. When it came to art - Lucas was indeed very easily distracted. It really was an work of art - and not just a plain tattoo- making it impossible for Lucas to ignore. And the whole idea of "making your skin into a canvas" was quite thrilling, creating this small spark in Lu's eyes. Not that Lucas would ever have the guts to get a tattoo - he would never be able to decide on a motive! Finally collecting the self control to "let go" of the tattoo with his eyes, he turned his attention to the sport field where the students where playing football. The teacher where blowing in his whistle every now and then, and boys showing off (almost tackle each other like crazy) to impress on the girls...

"So.. have you thought about how you are going to handle this situation? I doubt anyone is forcing you to attend school.." his voice where quite matching to his tired eyes - having this "dead" tone. Lucas placed his sketchbook beside him on the bench, pulled up his legs in to fetal position, wrapped his arms around his legs, and rested his chin on his knees.

Adrian noticed that Lucas had quickly closed up his sketchbook, but also knew better than to just ask what he had been doing. He respected people's privacy. If his classmate wanted to share his work that was up to him. He had a pretty good understanding of wanting to keep something private or even just away from people that he didn't know well. He was like that with his music. He rarely shared anything that wasn't finished or a rough draft of a song. Then there were songs that he never released to the public, because they weren't made for the public. He even knew what it was like to have that privacy ripped away without his consent. He would never do something like that to another person. That did make him feel a little bad, thinking that he had disturbed Lucas while he had been working.

Still, he stayed seated, he had asked for a break from the teacher and he wasn't going to just suddenly go back in without resting for a bit. He was just going to pester Lucas a little bit before he went back to playing. He just took a drink of his water and watched the others play while Lucas insisted that he was used to being alone. That must have been terrible, always being alone. That can't be good. Adrian wondered why exactly he was so used to it, but he figured that asking that would be rather rude. It was probably better to just shrug it off and be there for his classmate. Though, he found it rather odd that Lucas thought so little of himself, it sounded like he really didn't talk to a lot of people around school. That had been pretty much confirmed by the looks that other people gave him and the fact that Lucas didn't seem to talk to anyone else.

"Well, I might not be forced to attend, but I want to. I want to graduate with the people I grew up with, even if they don't really remember me. I had a lot of good friends here at one point, and this is where a lot of my happy memories are. I'd rather graduate with all of them and miss out on a year of touring and music, than get my GED and hanging out with other celebrities," Adrian shrugged. "And look, if you don't want me around, tell me, because otherwise I'm going to keep pestering you whether you're my boyfriend or not. You were nice to me and you helped me out of a tough situation. I'm not going to just go my separate way."

He took another drink from his water bottle and stretched out a bit. He didn't want to seem like he was pushing Lucas to be friends with him, he would just rather have someone to talk to that wasn't so interested in his music career. He liked that Lucas didn't even seem to know who he was and it was a very refreshing experience. It made him feel like he was actually back to school and back home where he belonged. "As for this whole situation, I'll get a rumor started that we broke up after class, if that's what you want. That'll hopefully cover everything," Adrian shrugged.

β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬β–¬

Lucas fetched a package of mint flavored candy (polka chews) from his tight jeans pocket, and put one in his mouth while listening to the quite cozy sound of Adrians voice. By the gossip of other students, he'd come to the understanding that "Ian" was some sort of pop star/singer. And one could actually hear it just by listening to him talking. There really was something about his voice, making it pleasant to listen to. Lucas could easily have kept listening to the sound of the words, and falling asleep by the calming tones - but no, he had to stay awake. Besides, this situation (having company / actually talking to someone) was not an every day event - making him more alert than usual.

He chewed his candy, thinking for a moment before opening his mouth to answer: "Well, i can relate to that.. but still, if you keep insisting on attending this school, you should bring a bodyguard or something... The students here can be quite violent... and selfish only thinking about fitting in and being popular.. and ofc they are quite star-struck and getting all exciting about having a celeb here" he continued chewing his polka candy like it was no big deal. Just a casual conversation.

"And i forgot to mention. Some of them got this conquest lists - competing with each other in who slept with whom. And im guessing you will become the number one target for pretty much the majority.. So if i where you, i'd be careful of accepting drinks from strangers. You'll never know in whose bed you'd wake up. Maybe Emilys.. She did suggested something like that in the cafeteria, didn't she?.." he said, blinking a few time to make it impossible to figure out if he was telling the truth or not. Lucas was honest tho, those sex-lists really did exist - and even the "outsider" Lu was a part of a few. He was probably the bravery test, like "i dare you to sleep with Lucas Benson"...

It was not like Lucas was asocial or anything - he was quite good at talking (when he'd get the chance) and he was not shy or anything - more the opposite. Even so, he had chosen to take another path than the rest of the students. Everyone was so material and always thinking about how to gain popularity and getting a good image/fitting in. Everything was revolving around looking good, and not BEING good. Lucas was not like that - and he just wanted to be himself, simple as that. Sure, he could strike a few words with some of the students. Zoey, his ex girlfriend was quite friendly (having no hard feelings after the break up) but they did go to different classes - so they rarely met/spoke at all anymore. And then they where the nerds / victims of bullying Lucas often stepped in to "save". He often tried talking with them, but even so - they where scared to death of him. Probably being affected by the popular students. Humans really was these imprinted pack-animals - always following the footsteps of the alphas.

He kept listening to that pleasant voice, cracking out in a grin when Adrian insisted on continuing hanging out with Lucas (despite the fact that he was an outsider). A part of Lucas was actually relieved and could not believe his ears. It was truly a strange feeling meeting someone who was not bothered by what others would think if he hanged out with Lucas. Not being afraid of "getting infected" by Lu's "outsider" virus. Funny thing how Adrian was a famous celebrity, one would think how they must be these stuck up people only caring about reputation and popularity. Lucas was actually surprised by Adrians gentle inside, and quite mature way of thinking. Plus his determination about finishing school.. Close up, after spending some time with his new "friend", he realized how Adrian was just like everybody else. He wasn't some sort of almighty god. He was just a mortal human after all.. Probably carrying a lot of weight on those athletic shoulders.

The fact that Lucas had no clue about who he was, was simply a result of him "living under a rock" and not listening to any popular music at all. Lucas kept to instrumental music. Lyrics where just distracting when he was trying to paint. And celebrities was not his biggest interest, unless it concerned a famous artist /painter or photographer, he was clueless. But maybe that was a good thing.. or it simply did not matter.. IF Lucas had known who "Ian" was and just how famous he happen to be, im sure he would not be treating him any different. Lucas did not care a shit about fame. And if he wanted to hang out with Adrian, it was only for his personality and not for his amount of fans or gold records topping the radio lists.

"Suite yourself. I won't stop you... But im warning you, it's at your own risk" short answer, but he was actually looking forward on Adrian "pestering" him. Lucas sighted a bit dejected, shook his shoulders and turned his face up towards the blue sky. Was he getting soft? That was wierd... Closing his dark eyes and enjoying the warmth of the sun. "Do as you please. It's not like i have an image to protect or anything like that" he simply said after a long time of reflection, leaving the decision to Adrian. It was he who had something to loose, or gain, from the situation. Getting "used" was not something new for Lucas.

Adrian laughed when Lucas suggested he get a bodyguard to follow him around school. If he could do that he would. Well, he probably could do that, but he didn't want to. He felt like that would just push him further away from everyone, make him that much more unreachable. He didn't want to seem that way, he was trying to get everyone to realize that he was just the same kid he was before he became famous. If he could, he'd rather go back in time and just wait until he was older to start the whole music career, but he had been young and quick to decide what was best for him. His parents had been on board because they thought it was encouragement and hadn't realized that it would end up going as far as it did. "I think a bodyguard might be pushing it a little," Adrian sighed. Though it was an idea that crossed his mind when Emily had come along, but he didn't want to think that was even necessary.

Though, when Lucas brought up the subject of these conquest lists, Adrian had to push the panic to the back of his mind. He knew that things would be different, but this whole conquest list thing seemed to be a terrible thing. He didn't want to believe they were even real. He would rather think they were some rumor started by someone. It wasn't like there was proof, so for now he'd just have to take it as a rumor. He knew that there were nasty people out there and yes, Emily had been very creepy when she came up to talk to him, but that didn't mean that there were a bunch of girls and guys out there competing to sleep with everyone. That just seemed ridiculous and weird. He let out a slow breath and smiled, "Yeah, I'll have to be careful then. Thanks for the heads up."

He went back to watching the others run around and play their game. He knew that he probably should get back to joining them, but he was having a good time hanging out with Lucas. He really didn't enjoy talking to him. It was nice. Plus, the teacher didn't seem to mind having him off the field this long, it was probably due to having so many other students to look after. He watched the boys tackle each other just for the fun of it and it got him thinking that maybe he really should stay protected. While he was sure that Lucas couldn't save him from physical harm, he could keep the more forward people at bay. Whether that be because of an established relationship or because Lucas wasn't popular at the school. Either way, it would help out a lot. Still, he couldn't just push that on someone without them knowing about it or having an option of their own.

He knew that Lucas said he could do as he pleased, but he was sure that didn't include keeping up the fake relationship. That'd be wrong, plus...there was someone else in his life. Though, if he could tell her that it was fake and to keep people away, she'd understand. She was pretty easy going and very understanding. Adrian really couldn't have asked for a better girlfriend. This idea could probably work for more than just a day. It could keep the others away for at least a little while. Once things started to cool down they could fake some break up and then go their separate ways. It'd be easy. On the other hand, it sounded like he was turning his life into a terrible sitcom. This kind of stuff really could only happen on television, but apparently he could make it happen in real life.

"Well, I do have an offer to propose to you. But, I want you to think about it really hard, alright? If we could keep this whole fake relationship going for a while, to keep everyone from coming after me that'd be fantastic. I'd be really happy and really grateful. But, this also means that it's not going to stay within the school. Everyone is going to find out. The media will get wind and they will not leave you alone. Tell me your answer after Math, alright?" Adrian stood up to join the class again. "Seriously, if you are uncomfortable doing this, then say no and it'll be over. I'll tell everyone it was a joke and that'll be it." With that the boy went back to the field and joined back in the game.

"At least one giant bodyguard, preferably 2 or 3. I mean, look at those boys tackling each other..." Lucas laughed. Just the thought of guards dressed in black suits + sunglasses, in their school was quite hilarious. But so was the thought of having a famous pop star as a classmate.. Besides, it was probably the girls Adrian had to watch up for - including Emily and her followers.

Lucas changed position and sat up straight with both feet's on the ground. His legs had started feeling this tiny cramp, and his chin resting on his knees had created two discrete red marks on his pale skin. He rubbed his jaw with the back of his hand, before turning his eyes towards Adrian. Listening patient and in silence to his suggestion, Lucas tilted his head to the side with one raised eyebrow. A part of him felt this nervous pounding inside his chest, realizing his life had not been this excited in ages. But it was not just that, Lucas really wanted to help the guy. Even if he already knew the answer, he was going to follow the instructions - and give his final response after Math. It was kind of gentlemanlike of Adrian, giving Lucas some time for consideration.

He watched as the new student returned to the others and the game of football. Lu just swallowed his candy and resumed with his drawing. Not that he felt the same inspiration anymore, his mind where occupied with.. other things.... Gym class was suddenly over, and there was a small brake before Math. Lucas gathered his things and went back inside. Not that he was eager to start the next class, even tho Lucas was brilliant with numbers and solving problems and calculations, no - he simply wanted to pay a visit to his absolute favorite room in the whole school. The art room. On his way there - something felt different. Rasing his gaze, he noticed students staring, pointing at him and whispering. Lucas was normally someone people avoided. Tending to have this determined, firm and unstoppable steps screaming "get out of my way". But today, Lucas almost walked in slow-motion as he noticed how people around him acted. The scene from the cafeteria sure had spread fast... "Oh it's him! He's soooo lucky....." he heard someone saying while people gathered in the corridor to get a glimpse of the "boyfriend" of the famous pop star. Some girls even gossiped about how hot and sexy Lucas was (all mysterious and "dark") - making Lucas snort out of amusement. That was a compliment he had not heard in a while. And just yesterday he had been a freak, so the change was quite huge.

But the positive reactions did not last long. When turning left around a corner - he felt a sudden blow to the face. It really was some sort of "surprise attack" with the culprits lurking and lying in wait for him. Lucas stumbled a few steps, but raised his arm to seek support from the wall. The other hand automatically flew up to place itself on his eyebrow/nose bridge in a try to suppress the pain. It was not like he was shocked or anything, Lucas was used to this treatment. In the corner of his eye, he could see 3 silhouettes disappearing with the sound of running footsteps echoing through the corridor. "fucking cowards! Seriously, are you to much of a pussy to show your face!" Lucas yelled after them. He took a deep breath to "calm down" and decided to pay a visit to the school toilets before the art room. When looking in the mirror, he felt a huge relief. It was not like the blow had cracked his nose bridge or causing him to bleed or anything. No, the punch had landed near his left eyebrow - on his forehead. Causing him to feel a discrete pounding headache. But other than that, he was unharmed. It would probably be a bruise tomorrow tho - but at the moment he looked like his usual self. Dark tired bags under his eyes and a dead serious face of stone. A little blow to the face had never stopped him before, so he simply went on with his plans - visiting the art teacher in his classroom.

Mr Zoeng, an old japanese man, was currently sitting behind his desk in the front - grading paintings done by the freshmen students having art as their "free choice subject". The old man glanced up over his glasses, firing off a discrete smile. "Oh it's you" he simply said and glanced down again to admire the next piece of paper filled with water colour. Lucas leaned forward to sneak a peak on the painting. "This one is far too much paint and no water at all.. Plus, the lines are too harsh. But the motive is okey. I would say this student can handle the vision but not the tools to get the wanted result..." Lucas blurted out, brutally honest, without thinking. Zoeng just laughed and raised his grey thick eyebrows. "You starting to sound like me... But i assume that criticizing these painting isn't the reason for your visit?" Lucas swallowed and let his hand glide through the brown jaw-long hair. Zoeng was just so easy to talk to. And he did not knew any other person who could turn his inner thoughts in to words that actually made sense. Ofter referring to art - making Lucas see things clearly. "No... I was wondering... If my life where about to change.. something new and scary.. Do you think my paintings will still be as good?" Lucas mumbled. Acting just like a little insecure boy seeking advice from his "Master Yoda". The old man got silent for a moment, creating deep wrinkles on his forehead while thinking. "Even better im sure about it. You are still young boy! You have not yet experienced the things necessary to match your potential. Get out there, create new memories, discover yourself as well as others. Good or bad. You might make terrible choices, but then fine, it will just be another thing to express in to art"

Lucas scratched the back of his neck while biting his lower lip. It kind of made sense. Experience new things... Having something new to paint... So then what the heck if everything went south. It was not like there was no return. If Lucas decided that playing the boyfriend of a celebrity did not work out, he could always change his mind - right? I mean, they could always "break up".. And Lucas would have another experience to put on a canvas. Ofc making it into a painting wasn't his first priority. Lucas was a kind and caring person deep inside. Getting the situation under control was all he wanted. Even if he just known Adrian for half a day. He had been a student here 3 years ago.. and everybody had suddenly forgotten about his "old self" and just threw themselves upon the "famous pop star".. It was truly sad to witness.

"Thank you... i guess" Lucas replied a bit absent minded while sneaking a glance on his phone. Realizing he was already late for math, he turned around and started walking. "gotta run... late for math!" he manage getting out, and raising his hand over his head in his custom "see you- gesture", before leaving the classroom. "Lucas! If its about drugs, then i take it back! And i distinctly advise you to NOT get involved!" he could hear Zoengs voice behind him, making the corners of Lucas mouth twitch as he hurried for the math classroom.

Entering the room, he was quite out of breath. "so sorry im late... i was talking with a teacher.." he panted while founding his way to the back of the room and an empty seat. Adrian was already surrounded by other students, and Lucas did not wanna interrupt (in case they where friendly ones). So he simply sat down alone and started with the assigned pages. He had said to give his final answer after math, so theoretically he still had some time left to decide. Not that he needed it. Lucas mind was already settled. And hearing about the media did not scare him at the moment. Thinking he could probably deal with the press better than Adrian could handle the students. Plus, his main worry was to make sure Adrian could graduate without getting mashed by clingy students and flirty star-struck kids. So acting like his boyfriend was not a big deal.. not if he could help - then it was all worth it.. Plus, they could end it whenever they wanted to. He almost felt excided, butterflies in his stomach, like he was a child going on an adventure. So he made sure to finnish all the numbers, as well as the homework, while waiting for the class to end. Every now and then sneaking a glance in front on him - to see how Adrian was handling his table "neighbors"...

Adrian went back into the game, and ended up ruining the fun of the boys that were already trying to impress the other girls. Their attention switched quickly over to the star, the girls still trying to impress him and gain his affection even after hearing about Adrian’s relationship status. Though, nobody was as intense as Emily had been. Most were just trying to impress or strike up a conversation with him. He could feel the glares of some of the other guys and girls on him just because it was so easy for Adrian to get the attention of anyone he wanted. Not that he really wanted anyone’s attention at all, at least not anymore than other people.

The class ended and Adrian walked in, with the rest of the students, back into the locker rooms. He took a quick shower to get rid of the feeling of sweat, then pulled his clothes back on. He watched a lot of the other guys skip the shower fearing they were going to be late to their next class, but he’d rather risk being late than feel uncomfortable the rest of the day. Besides, being late once wasn't a big deal. It'd only become a big deal if it happened more often.

Adrian made his way to class, once again, a bunch of people stopping him to ask questions. A few even stopping him to ask for autographs. He just smiled at them and would politely tell them no for now. He offered to sign them after school hours, but that he didn't have the time to do it now. He answered the questions as best he could and continued on trying to get to math class before the bell rang. He had been doing well in finding his classrooms and getting there without being late, and he wanted to continue that.

He was happy that he did get to class on time, with even some time to spare. He sat down next to a few open seats thinking that Lucas would be able sit next to him, but that thought soon passed when Lucas hadn't shown up and all the spots were taken. When the next bell rung and the teacher started teaching, Adrian was unsure what to think about Lucas not being around. He was worried that maybe Lucas wasn't able to handle the offer that Adrian had proposed. Maybe he had gone too far and that saying that was a mistake. He didn't want to lose his friend over this, but maybe it also had to do with his pestering. Maybe that also turned him off and the Lucas just ran away.

Adrian sighed in relief when Lucas finally showed up to class. He was glad that it hopefully had nothing to do with him. He went back to listening to the lecture the teacher was giving. The girls around him weren't giving him too much trouble, since it seemed the teacher was rather strict about talking during his lectures. A few had resorted to passing notes that were just simple conversations to him. He happily responded to the notes and passed them back. It wasn't like he really understood what the teacher was saying anyway. He didn't understand math past the necessary adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. He always had trouble with this subject and while not paying attention didn't help, neither did actually listening to the lecture.

After the lecture there was still a bit of time left in class, so they were given that time to work on their homework. Adrian had just stared down at his book with all the problems and tried to make sense of what was going on. "Would you like some help?" One of the girls next to him asked.

"Uh...I'm just not that good a math. It takes me a while to get what is going on," Adrian explained. The girl moved her desk closer to his so she could see what he was doing. She smiled when she saw an empty page.

"Here, let me help you. The teacher isn't really good at explaining things anyway," The girl smiled. For the rest of the class the girl helped Adrian figure out the lesson for the day. They got through a few problems and Adrian felt like he had an alright grasp on what was going on.

Finally, math class was over and it was time to go. Adrian let all the other students leave before finally standing up himself. The others seemed more excited to leave with school being over anyway. Adrian had his own car, and wasn't planning anything after class, so he felt no need to rush. He looked over at Lucas with a smirk, "You want to walk with me?"

Lucas had finished the homework rather quick, since he was good at math, and spent the last minutes of the class with almost drifting off to his land of dreams. The power to basically be able to fall asleep in the middle of chaos, was not exactly convenient at the moment. Around him , the sound of students chattering where buzzing in his ears and pencils where scratching against paper. Noises he'd heard a hundred times, but still got fascinated by how calming it was. Suddenly, the bell rang. Math class where over and it was time to go home. No more classes for today. The rest of the students seemed to be in a hurry, almost stumbling on each other just disappearing from the room like the school was on fire. And the memory of the previous sound of a lively classroom where soon to vanish, leaving the silence to consume Lucas into deep thinking. The "feeling" of this being a normal day, almost made him forget about Adrian for a moment. Probably as a result of his drowzy state of mind.

"You want to walk with me?"

At first, Lucas did not realize the voice was meant for him. After all, he was not the kind of person people normally talked to. But even so, he raised his brown eyes - only to meet the sight of a tall celebrity with a smirk on his lips. This thing with having company.. a friend.. was something new. But it felt good, and almost made his pulse skip a beat.

"Oh.. Ehm.. Of course" he managed to say while standing up and collecting his books and things. Almost dropping his pencil, but managed to catch it in mid air before it fell to the floor. Now he was awake and alert again, and ready to give his answer to Adrian. Lucas nodded and started walking besides Adrian, in the direction of the lockers.

"Well, you probably want my answer?" he said, smiling mysteriously while gazing down on his feet while walking. "To be honest, i did not need all that time to think. I had already made up my mind. Like i said, it's not like my image in this school can get any worse. But it was kind of nice of you to give me some time for consideration.." he said. Most students had already gone home, leaving the corridor close to deserted. One freshmen boy was still struggling with getting his jacket on, and after succeeding with the task - the sound of his locker closing was echoing through the hallway.

"What im saying is... Im up for it" he opened his locker to put in his things. The inside being decorated with small drawings, paintings and even some photographs. While the outside was filled with nasty scribbling, words like "Psycho", "Outsider" and "Beware the stare of Lucas Benson.." referring to some horror movie. The "artist" was probably having Lucas dead and cold gaze in mind, when creating his/hers "work of art".

Lucas closed his locker with a bump and fired of a smile to Adrian. "So here i am. Go ahead and use me. Hope i can make life a little bit easier for you at school" he said while gesturing with his arm. That smile was a rather rare sight, if anyone had witnessed it, they'd probably had wondered what happened to the old cold and gloomy Lucas. But luckily - they where alone. Starting to walk towards the exit, Lucas suddenly realized he had not asked for his "job description".

"So.. When do i start? And what exactly do i have to do? More than just hanging out and go all corny with babe and darling. No kissing i presume" He said, and laughed. Putting his hands in his pockets and dragging his feet forward. He was not exactly in a hurry since he had to walk all the way home. He did not have to run to catch any buss or train or anything, meaning he had all time in the world..

Adrian smiled in response to Lucas agreeing to walk with him. He was in no rush himself to get home and preferred to walk home anyway. He probably could ride the bus home, but he'd rather not figure out how that would go over, and his parents were busy with work for another hour at least. So, it was nice to be able to walk with someone else and just hang out for a few minutes longer before the two would inevitably have to split up and go their separate ways.

Once the two started walking, Lucas brought up the proposition from earlier. Adrian had almost forgotten about it completely, so when Lucas brought it up there was a flash of confusion on Adrian's face that turned into slow realization on what he was talking about. "Oh, right! From earlier. Yes, I'd like to know your answer," Adrian nodded as they continued down the halls. He wasn't quiet sure how smart it was to even put Lucas into such a position. Maybe he was asking too much out of someone he just met. Still, even if he was turned down that didn't mean the two couldn't be friends. While he was sure that could be seen as suspicious to the public, it didn't really matter much to him.

Adrian had to stop himself from biting his bottom lip in anticipation. He did really want Lucas to say yes, it would make things so much easier on him. Not just with everything at school, but he was sure that the media would have caught wind soon and before the news of being broken up even happened there'd be reporters trying to find every bit of information on this relationship. He hated having to keep up with an image. It was pretty annoying at times. Still, he had to respect Lucas' decision no matter what it was, just because something would be easier on him didn't mean it'd be easier for Lucas. Actually, Adrian knew it'd be quiet the opposite for Lucas. There'd be reporters knocking his door and calling him trying to get every scrap of information they could. There'd be endless attention at school, either good or bad and probably even rumors started in tabloids.

When Lucas said he would do it, it was hard for Adrian to keep a straight face. He had to grin at the news, he was so relieved and so happy that this was happening. "Great, I'm so happy you said yes," Adrian tried to keep from sounding too excited. Though, he had to stop a moment to judge the way Lucas' locker looked on the outside, it was horrendous. He couldn't believe that people would do such a thing. He could tell that Lucas wasn't liked a lot, but still to go so far as to scribble nasty things about him on his locker was just terrible. He had to let it go though, not only because Lucas had gained Adrian's attention again, but because there wasn't a whole lot he could do about that either.

He was relieved that Lucas didn't seem too upset with agreeing or too nervous about it. It felt more like Lucas was happy about this idea, more than Adrian expected at least. It was nice to know that Lucas didn't seem like he was doing this just for his sake. The two started down the hall again until they were at Adrian's locker, which was bare on the inside and out. He just had his books and things in the locker and decided to keep it mainly pretty clean, since he didn't really feel like putting effort into decorating it.

"Well, for the most part you started today at lunch time," Adrian shrugged as he shuffled around a few of his books and just grabbed what he needed to bring home with him. "You don't really have to do anything, we just have to act like a couple, but yeah no kissing. That's a bit far for a fake relationship, but I guess hand holding and hugging isn't out of the question, but only if you're comfortable with it. Honestly, as long as we say we're a couple, I doubt many people are going to argue."

"Well, for the most part you started today at lunch time," ... "You don't really have to do anything, we just have to act like a couple, but yeah no kissing. That's a bit far for a fake relationship, but I guess hand holding and hugging isn't out of the question, but only if you're comfortable with it. Honestly, as long as we say we're a couple, I doubt many people are going to argue." Lucas made a "tchh" sound to cover up another incoming laugh. The whole thing was just comical. And Lucas being the boyfriend of some famous popstar was unbelievable. Lucas was so.. unique.. so someone wanting... willingly.. to be in a relationship with him just had to be true - thus making this fake one more credible. It could actually work, now when he thought about it. Lucas opened the exit door and held it open for his "boyfriend" while scratching his neck with his free hand.

Sun was still up on the sky, but on it's way down - creating a beautiful orange / purple light. Out on the schoolyard, students was still lingering. And many of them started to stare at the odd couple that passed them, mainly they stared at Adrian ofc. Some students where smoking on the other side of an old shed, while most where gathered at the parking lot. Probably bragging about the cars they got as a birthday present or just as a congratulation for passing the drivers test. Lucas wasn't normally the jealous type - but if there was one thing he wished for, it was a car. He'd already got his license - but asking his brother Logan to borrow his silver Audi was out of the question.

Lucas sighted as he walked passed the students. But afterwards he turned his attention to Adrian. "Thats sounds easy. I think i can manage that" he said, kicking a tiny rock lying on the sidewalk. "Oh, i don't even know where you live... Ehhmm my place is this way" Lucas continued, pointing towards the footpath to the right - adorned with an alley of trees. The situation suddently felt tense and awkward. They where just two guys walking home from school. If it had been that easy.. Lucas kind of hoped that Adrian lived in the same direction - so they had time to talk a bit longer. Lucas did not know anything about the guy really... Not even about his popstar career, and now he was going to pretend like he knew the guy. Even in an intimate way. He bit his lip and reached down in his pocket to fetch his cellphone and handle it to Adrian. A quite modern cell with an artwork as phone case and some gaming character as background picture.

"Here. I guess you will need my number.. to call or text me if you need me.. And if you do live in my direction. Please tell me a bit about yourself. Its probably a good idea to know something about each other... Im thinking i will have to break the news to my family.. Seems fair they get to know it from me and not the press" Lucas grimaced, sticking his tongue out. Then he tilted his head to the side while raising one eyebrow. "Or you can just tell me your popstar name and i will google it tonight to see what juicy stuff the media has already made up about you" he teased.

Lucas was not the least worried about the "telling his family" thing. Logan and Leia where cool with almost everything their "weird brother" did and very supportive. Plus, his folks was going to be away for 3 months and they could probably not care less. Telling them would just be waste of time - but there was a chance his mother would find out in one of her celebrity gossip magazines she always bought. Lucas smiled just thinking about it, his custom crooked smile with a distant and spaced out gaze - at the moment looking at a old man walking his dog...

Adrian enjoyed their walk outside of the school, he didn't even notice all the others who had their eyes on the two as they made their way passed the parking lot. He was sort of used to the stares by now, plus he was more focused on Lucas wanting to make sure they were both on the same page. He also wanted to know more about him, it would help to keep this whole thing more believable and Lucas seemed really interesting to Adrian. He had to know what Lucas was like, and why he was so willing to do something so extreme for just a stranger. He knew that most people would jump at the chance as well, but that was only because they knew who Ian Bishop was. They'd want to get as close as possible to the fame and probably even get the chance to turn fake into real. It was refreshing that someone like Lucas was still around, but at the same time it was a little shocking that someone who had no idea who he was was willing to play the role of his fake boyfriend.

The two came to a full stop and it seemed to just occur to him that the two might not live in the same direction, though Lucas was the first to vocalize this thought. Adrian sighed a little, he did live in the other direction, unfortunately. Not everything could play out that perfectly after all. He took Lucas's phone and put his number into the contacts before texting himself so that he had Lucas' number as well. He handed the phone back and gave a soft smile, "I actually live in the other direction, but I'll walk you home. It's not a big deal. And you can go ahead and tell whoever you like, just don't tell a lot of people that the relationship isn't real. Only tell people that can be trusted with a secret that." He figured the last part was obvious, but he had to make sure he said it out loud. He didn't want to have to deal with the press when it came to faking a relationship. He'd much rather avoid that whole scenario all together if he could.

Adrian turned towards Lucas' house, and started walking with Lucas. He knew it would mean having to walk a lot more to get back to his place, but he didn't mind. It was only temporary anyway, soon he and his father were going to go to the car dealership and get him a car. Besides, it wasn't terrible out so walking was actually kind of pleasant and he didn't have too much homework to work on. "My stage name is Ian Bishop, if you actually do want to look me up. I'm sure there's some interesting stories out there about me. Anyway, for the most part I'll be telling the press that we met about a month ago, when I moved back here to go back to school. We bumped into each other, I thought you were cute and asked you out for a cup of coffee, in which you accepted and the two of us connected on that first date. Simple enough to follow and wouldn't cause too many questions to rise, unlike meeting each other at school and immediately deciding we were a couple," Adrian explained. That seemed to be the only story that they'd need as far as where their relationship started. Other then that, they'd just have to make up a few dating stories that could just happen along the way and they'd be set for a fake relationship.

"So, why don't you say a little about yourself," Adrian smiled, changing the subject. He did really want to know more about Lucas and what he was up to. Besides, he was hoping the two could actually be close enough to be friends and not just be fake boyfriends. He knew that the media will be trying to get their hands on any story they can about the two which could easily put a strain on their already weird relationship. He'd rather keep a friend out of this whole mess than end up alone in the end.

When Adrian said he lived in the other direction, Lucas was not very surprised. If he'd lived his way - he would have seen the guy before today. It was not like this town was huge and Adrians good looks and "celeb aura" was not something one would overlook - or manage to elude. Probably making all the girls in the area scream of excitement every time he passed by - no doubt. When Adrian offered to walk him home, Lucas could not help but fire off a worried expression - small wrinkles by his nose and eyebrows. It should be the other way around, Lucas walking Adrian home. Because even if this was a small and "safe" neighborhood... It might not be so harmless to a super famous popstar to walk all the way back alone. He could be attacked by paparazzies... or worse.. Love-struck teenage girls... Geeh, Lucas just worried too much. He did not know the guy yet. Still, he already thought of him as a friend. The only one stupid enough to want to hang out with Lu. So starting to question his choices where probably not the smartest if he wanted to make a good impression.

He decided to stay quiet and act grateful. He nodded as a "thanks", received his cellphone and put it back in the pocket of his black jeans before he starting to walk. Slowly and relaxed, as his legs just started to move by themselves and the world around them disappeared. The only thing he focused on was Adrians calming voice, almost making him stumble on the edge of the sidewalk. He listened eagerly to Adrians story, but when hearing the name Ian Bishop he nearly choked. Wasn't that the name of the guy Leia was talking about non stop? The guy on all the posters in her room? Lucas even took her to one of this //Ian Bishop person's// concerts once. How could he have missed that..? Adrian Walker was Ian Bishop!... Sure, Lu had a photographic memory - when he was paying attention! But in this case - he had been dense as a pebble. Just focusing on everything else (doing his best to forget that concert when he was trampled on by a group of young girls) and he even ignored the face of his sisters biggest crush. How could he be such an idiot? Well, guess that did not matter now.

The made up story about how they met where simple and easy to remember. He smiled and did a thumbs up when meeting Adrians blue eyes. "O'boy do i have some interesting reading tonight.. Or i can just ask my sister.. Ian Bishop.. Ehmm... You, i guess.. just happens to be her biggest idol and crush.. and i honestly had no clue about you being him " he rolled his eyes at his own stupidity and laughed softly. A part of him was worried about Leias reaction when he delivered the news. But at the same time - he was going to think of himself for once. And if acting as Adrians boyfriend ment having a friend, he gladly did just so. And as usual Lucas was melancholic and had bad selfesteem - thinking that this fake relationship was the only reason why Adrian would spend time with Lucas. Because why in heavens would Adrian want to be friends with an outsider otherwhise? Right?

"The story of how we met is easy and idiot proof, let's go for it... Though.. You thought i was.. Cute?... Well i guess im not in the position to be picky about the choice of word" he fired of his custom crocked smile and placed his hands in the pockets of his black hoodie.

"So, why don't you say a little about yourself,"

Lucas face turned serious and pale in an instant, as if he froze. He also slowed down his steps. Tell Adrian about himself? Why would he care for someone like Lucas Benson? Besides, Lu was a listener - and was not very comfortable with opening up towards people.

"Uhhmm... uhmm... There is nothing interesting with me really.. Im just Lucas.. And im kind of an outsider but i bet you've already noticed that" he bit his lip thinking hard, letting his brown eyes glance towards Adrian from the corner of his eye. "The only thing i can thing of.. that you might need to know is that i like art.. i paint, draw and take photos.. if that helps?" He breathed out, starting to walk in normal pace again. They had reached the end of this neighborhood and a turning space where the road ended. Lucas house was just up ahead, a white little house with a fenced plot and a "beware the dog" sign by the mailbox.

"Well... This is it... " Lu nodded towards the house then rested his eyes on Adrian. Once again he felt kind of... unaccustomed to the situation. Was he suppose to say something? He spun around and tried to look through the windows to see if Leia was home. If she was - Lu was afraid she might jump the guy. But thankfully the house seemed empty and his precious little sister was probably at some friend's house.

Adrian chuckled when Lucas admitted he had no idea that he was Ian Bishop. He already kind of knew that that was the case, but it was funny to think that Lucas' sibling was a fan, it made it just even more funny on how oblivious Lucas was. It was pretty surprising that there was even someone around who didn't know who he was. He was quite popular, and even if someone didn't listen to his music or hated him, they still knew who he was. People didn't generally go around hating people they've never seen. Still, it was a nice change of pace, and a felt much more welcoming than the rest of the school.

When Lucas attempted to talk about himself, it seemed he wasn't too comfortable with the idea. Which didn't seem too out of place, there were plenty of people like that, or just didn't know what to say about themselves. He'd have to remember to be more direct with his questions later if he wanted to know something specific. Still, what Lucas gave him was enough to work with, though he didn't really need much to go off in the first place. It wasn't like he even planned to start talking to everyone about Lucas, he was sure that privacy was important to Lucas just as much as it was to himself. He could work with a few of the hobbies given if he needed to make up a story, but for the most part he just planned on giving vague answers.

Once they ended up at Lucas' house, Adrian smiled, "Alright, I guess I'll see you tomorrow then. Feel free to text me whenever, I don't mind at all." Adrian waved goodbye and Lucas then headed in the opposite direction home. Thankfully, it didn't lead to any encounters with other fans or anyone else from school. It was actually a nice and quiet walk, something he kind of enjoyed for a little while.

He was home before the rest of his family had gotten back. Which, he'd have to get used to. He knew his mother and father worked late most days and his brother had friends and after school clubs. He would be all alone until dinner time, which made him feel just a little lonely. He shook off the feeling as best he could and grabbed backpack and went upstairs to his room. He had his own work to do. Plus, he did have to tell his girlfriend about what was going on before the news of him having a boyfriend ended up everywhere. He was prepared for that, but he was sure that his actual girlfriend might feel a little differently about the situation if he wasn't the first to talk to her.

After that he had some homework, then he figured that he could spends some time writing some new songs or just playing the piano or guitar. It may be lonely to come home alone, but it was still nice not to constantly be busy with touring and writing new albums all the time. It was relaxing and strangely quiet.
