Introduction
The fifth great war to set upon the Shinobi world saw rise to a new breed of Shinobi. As years drug on and the fighting continued many children would be born during this time of war and strife, and it was these new generation of Shinobi that would be moulded into the warriors of the future. Knowing that they would undoubtedly be forced into combat situations early in their career as Shinobi, the Academy began focusing more on preparing these children for battle along with their normal studies. This was not out of a hunger for power or war, but to better increase their chances of survival. This update in curriculum gave birth to a more militaristic breed of Genin, and though the mortality rate was high for those that wavered, those that survived went on to become to most elite of Shinobi. This new wartime mentality held fast in the Shinobi Academies of the world and as time drug on these new Shinobi became the norm, and bit by bit those of the past were forgotten.
The year is 121 A.N.T., just over fifty years since the start of the Fifth Great Shinobi World War. For five generations the land has been embroiled in the constant battles and campaigns held by one nation or another, and though ceasefires have been called on multiple occasions the war has never truly ended. The largest force of Shinobi is now Kumogakure, The Village Hidden in The Clouds, which has expanded it's territory exponentially and is now only held at bay by the remnants of the Shinobi Alliance. Headed in coalition by The Leaf and Sand Villages, the Shinobi Alliance has long been the victim of a two pronged attack from the north by Kumogakure and the East by Kirigakure. Though Iwagakure refuses to join the Shinobi Alliance, it's long rivalry with Kumogakure has often made them uneasy allies to the Alliance. It is in times like these, in a land engulfed by the flames of war and clouded with strife, that heroes are born. With the most recent of ceasefires coming into effect perhaps this new generation of Shinobi is prepared to reveal just who these heroes are."
