Introduction

Image

ImageThey called it Sburb.

It was just supposed to be like any other game. Just a simple, ordinary game that you decided to play with your friends. None of you remember who suggested it, or who bought it, or even where it came from, but that didn't matter to any of you. It never occurred to anyone to ask questions. You all met up on a perfectly sunny day at somebody's house and gathered around, excited to set up the laptops and put the game in.

There was a strange loading screen. It was glitchy and odd. At first, it seemed like there might be something wrong with the discs you all put in your computers, but everything started up like normal. It was kind of silly.

"Welcome, students!"

The 'students,' or, well, the small group of teens that actually showed up to this weird school were all gathered in the auditorium, sitting in the nicely fabricated seats as the blond-haired Principal walked back and fourth on stage, looking as calm as ever. The staff were lined up behind him in seats of their own, not looking any more entertained than any of the students. The Principal didn't seem to notice, having plenty of his own enthusiasm to go around. "Today is your first day of participating in Clear Thoughts Mental Highschool. I trust you've all read up the admittance letter, so I'll spare you the details. My name is Dr. Lucridous and I am your Principal. I know about everything that goes on in this school and otherwise, so while I understand you are all...special cases, I'll advise you not to try anything drastic in your time here."

Of course, with all that said, Dr. Lucridous went on to contradictorily add: "But please, feel free to be yourselves." He grinned then as if he was well aware of what he'd just sounded like by saying those things. He didn't bother explaining himself. He felt no need to. A teacher in the back checked their watch and let out a groan that did not go unheard of by the Principal. He ignored it, however, and pressed on, wrapping the lecture up. "Classes will be dismissed today. They will officially start tomorrow, starting with your five-thirty a.m wake-up call." He only continued to grin as he heard a chorus of whining and groaning follow his statement. "Today, you will find a teacher to show you to your dorm rooms. The student dorm building is right alongside the teachers' dorm building, so if any of you are having any issues in the middle of the night, don't hesitate to pay them a visit." He nearly had to stop himself from laughing out loud. "They won't mind." He could practically feel the daggers stabbing into his back at that very moment.

Principal Lucridous clasped his hands together and stopped pacing on the stage, fully facing the 'esteemed audience.' "You are all dismissed. Once you put your things in your rooms, feel free to explore campus and speak to the staff as you like. It is five o' clock now, so you have one hour before dinner. Bedtime is at nine and lights out at nine thirty. We'll be checking." He waved a hand. "Dismissed." And with that, he stepped off the stage and disappeared through the closest doors.

Kevin jumped from his seat like he'd been bit, quickly scanning the teachers' faces and the faces of his fellow students--or that's who they all claimed to be. They couldn't fool him. They called this a 'school' or a 'mental facility,' but he knew better. These people could be anybody. Villains, undercover heroes, cops--the options were limitless! But he'd figure out all of them. He'd play their games for now, though, and pretend to be a typical ignorant civilian wandering these halls as a student. "Good day, citizens! I go by many names, but you may call me The Mask. Don't worry--I am just like you! So don't be intimidated by my appearance and please go about your daily business." Yes, yes, very good. Perfect. They'll never suspect a thing.

He walked through the seats and took another look around. First, he would have to mingle with the suspicious crowd. But who would do first? He walked up to the boy with the grey hair. Yes, very suspicious, he would do well. "Good day, citizen! Could you instruct me on how to, uh, get to the... The place we're going." He forgot the word, faltering a bit. He quickly shook it off, smiling confidently again. "The place that we are going. That's it. I would greatly appreciate it." He could of asked the teachers, but, well, they kind of intimidated him.

Yoshiya Kamelot

β€œWelcome, students!” the principal had begun, continuing to drone on and on about school and random shit like that.

Sighing loudly, the pink haired youth hand his hands through said hair and grumbled under his breath, wanting nothing more then to not be here.

Dammit Yoshi, get your own ass out here and get control of your body dammit! the not-Yoshi growled mentally, hoping one of the others, if not the original himself, would here him.

Your own fault Kai…if you want to, I can come out afterwards, but I need Bach and I don’t…I don’t…you like people. I don’t. So…please? the meek voice of Konni-chan answered him back. Wanting to scream in utter frustration and anger, the youth known as Kai buried his head in his head and bit the insides of his palms, groaning.

β€œYou are all dismissed,” Mr. whatever-fuck-his-name-was, droned on, his speech or whatever coming to an end thank god, Kai was ready to kill someone. Well Kain was, but whatever, β€œOnce you put your things in your rooms, feel free to explore campus and speak to the staff as you like. It is five o’clock now, so you have one hour before dinner. Bedtime is at nine, and lights out at nine thirty. We’ll be checking,”

Kai snorted, drawing the attention of some of the other me. Nine thirty? That used to be when his night started. Fuckin’ school. He didn’t need to be β€˜fixed’ just… β€˜punished’ as Konni and Yoshi liked to put it so bluntly. To Kai and Kain, it was like living in hell. He knew it.

Hell.

When the principal waved his hand in final dismissal, Kia all but leaped for joy, wanting nothing but to get the fuck out of there. After taking a few strides, he turned as he heard someone start to talk, and loudly at that.

β€œGood day, citizens! I go by many names, but you may call me The Mask. Don’t worryβ€”I am just like you! So don’t be intimidated by my appearance and please go about your daily business.”

Well he’s truly mentally fucked up if he thinks crazy ass shit like that Kain helpfully supplied, making the one in control smile amused.

If you promise not to kill anyone, hurt them, or making too much fun of them and I might just let you out.

Before Kain could answer, someone else replied, his soft, girly voice cutting through everything. Somehow. The kid was creepy like that. Cool, but fuckin creepy.

I would…Kai? May I? I would like to see the school through my own eyes, if you would so please. the soft spoken and classical music loving personality asked politely, unlike the rest of them.

Nodding his head in agreement, Kai sat back down and leaned his head against his hands, sighing deeply, eyes closed.

Stretching, he sat up and pulled out his headphones and Ipod, pulling them in and placing one bud in his ear and relishing in the classical music that poured through the speakers.

Humming along with the notes, Konni got up and began to walk out of the, smiling at many of the other students as he passed, but giving a wave to a green haired boy and another pinkish haired dude, just a tad pinker than Yoshi himself.

After leaving the auditorium, where the speech was held, Konni felt he was in no rush to put his stuff away, not caring for the company of others, preferring to just have it be him and his music. And the others of course, but they were a part of him in a way, so it didn’t matter.

After what seemed like only minutes later, Konni arrived at his destination, the dorm room number glaring in black letters against the white door. 2. Not his favorite number, but he took what he got.

Now it was time to blast said lovely music and start to unpack. Oh, what joy.

Reno Sol

"Welcome, students!" As if anyone would actually want to be in this dump willingly. Oh, no, wait; there was one fool who actually volunteered to send himself to this "Clear Thoughts Mental Highschool". In fact, he didn't just volunteer, he went up to his parents and demanded that they let him go, or else he'd run over the neighbors with the truck. Yep, that had gotten their attention, especially after the dog incident and the sister incident. That poor sap who really must be a total loser if he had nothing better than to be sent to this kind of a shithole. But of course the fact is that you would be talking about one Reno Sol, who would not hesitate to put his first through your face if you happened to say anything about him that was even mildly insulting. He was a problem kid, but he wasn't an idiot and he wasn't a loser. Nope, that was one thing he was going to pound into anyone who disagreed, security forces or not. "Classes will be dismissed today. They will officially start tomorrow, starting with your five-thirty a.m wake-up call." Fucking asshole, Reno thought to himself, not even wanting to think about how easily angered he was going to be at too-fucking-early o'clock in the morning. He already had enough issues, and these dumbfucks weren't going to make it any better.

At least there are less people to hurt, he had to admit, glancing around the room (he was sitting in the very back). Including Reno there were more guys than girls, but that wasn't really an issue considering he A) wasn't here to pick up a date and B) swung either way (yet another point to add to his grievances against the world and life itself). Strange-colored hair wasn't limited to his silvery-blond locks, styled into perfection. There was one kid with green hair, a few with pink-red hair, and one with red hair with... White stripes? Whatever. It's not my issue. He figured that, if the place was going to be full of freaks, they might as well look like them too. He had not been disappointed, especially since one kid seemed to be wearing a kind of... Mask? Getting the feeling that he was particularly, well, troubled, Reno made a mental note to stay away from him. Well, to be honest, he was planing on staying far away from everyone, so that was easy.

"You are all dismissed. Once you put your things in your rooms, feel free to explore campus and speak to the staff as you like. It is five o' clock now, so you have one hour before dinner. Bedtime is at nine and lights out at nine thirty. We'll be checking." An hour before dinner? More like an hour to get into his room and try to get some sleep before spending most of the meal sulking away from the other kids, but Reno didn't feel like mentioning that. "Bedtime" wasn't an issue, either; he was used to sleeping for copious amounts of the day. Or, well, attempting to. So no, the nine o'clock shut-off wasn't going to be any kind of problem. "Dismissed." Reno let out a groan and muttered "finally" under his breath, standing and stretching, not withholding a yawn that escaped him easily. He was always tired, so that wasn't exactly anything new.

"Good day, citizens! I go by many names, but you may call me The Mask. Don't worry--I am just like you! So don't be intimidated by my appearance and please go about your daily business." That, however, was new, and Reno suddenly understood why the kid looked like some kind of reject hero from a comic book. Scowling, Reno was about to walk away and leave some other idiotic fool to deal with Mr. Hero (or, as Reno was planning on calling him, The Idiot) when the redhead walked up to him. Walked up to him. This wasn't going to end well, the blond just knew it. "Good day, citizen! Could you instruct me on how to, uh, get to the... The place we're going." Reno raised an eyebrow, hands in the pockets of his precious jacket. This kid had to be joking. Citizen? What's that supposed to mean? Reno resisted the urge to just leave right then and there, figuring he could use this to his advantage. "The place that we are going. That's it. I would greatly appreciate it."

Mylo Zsylo

Mylo looked around at all of the strangers, most of whom were bigger than him (including some of the girls, which was just plain pathetic you're always pathetic, stupid. You should let me out to handle 'em!). He didn't want to get lost on his first day and end up somewhere he wasn't supposed to, but at the same time he didn't want to go up to one of the teachers or one of his fellow students. It was just... Intimidating. You really are hopeless, Mylo. Just go up to the first girl you see and ask her! Girls are easy to talk to! No they weren't. Despite having a somewhat gender-confused look like the greenette in question did, he felt no connection to males or females. Guys were too big and scary, and girls weren't much better, except they had different ways of getting to you.

Swallowing, Mylo found himself going up to someone with pink-red hair, glasses, and sharp teal eyes. Standing there for a moment, he wasn't sure what he wanted to say, just opened and closed his mouth a few times while trying to think of something that wouldn't get himself beaten up. Mylo. You have about five seconds before I take over and I decide who to attack first. Got it? These people won't protect you like I would. Like I do. So figure it out. Now. Shuddering a bit, Mylo forced himself to look up from the ground and into the stranger's teal eyes, even though that simple act alone almost gave him a heart attack from fear. Please don't hurt me, please don't hurt me, please don't hurt me... He repeated over and over in his head.

"I.... I'm.... I'm M-M-Mylo...." Someone passed the green-haired teen and he almost fainted from fear when they waved at him. Did that mean he was a target? Was he going to be woken up at night, dragging out of bed, and have something unspeakable happen to him?! It wouldn't be the first time. Except, this time, who could he count on? At the very least his father always had guards around the house, since they knew what a target Mylo would make. Oh dear... Maybe we shouldn't have come here, Zsylo. Like you had much of a choice? Tch. You really are an idiot. Let me have a turn.

Zsylo

Zsylo gained control and suddenly it was like Mylo had grown several inches taller, while in reality Zsylo just stopped slouching. He still wasn't the same height as pink-haired stranger boy, but it was enough so that Zsylo could stare into those teal eyes, his own typically passive orbs suddenly raging with fire. Letting out a "tch" of annoyance, Zsylo leaned back a little and crossed his arms, not entirely impressed by this stranger and not about to show any of the same fear Mylo did. D-Don't hurt him! Tch. I won't do that unless the fucker makes me.

"Listen up, I'm Zsylo and the guy who was just talking to you idiot was Mylo. We're looking for dorm room four so if you tell us where those are then I won't have to punch your head in." Zsylo looked around at the emptying auditorium, with only a few other students left and a couple teachers who stuck around to make sure no shit went down. C-Can we go now? Mylo sounded like a brat asking his parents if they could return home for some stupid, silly, childish reason. I'm not done with him yet! And, unfortunately for the stranger, Zsylo wasn't. "So tell me your stupid-ass name and let's get our asses out of here. Unless you're as big of an idiot as you look and don't understand English. Tch."

Reno Sol

"Listen, The Idiot, I'm not going to help someone who can't follow the crowd and figure out for his own self where a couple of dorm rooms are. Especially since you look like some stupid hero cast-off from a fucking comic book from the fuckass fifties. So unless you have a better idea of what the hell you're doing, then leave me the fuck alone." Yep, that sounded good. Reno leaned back a little and crossed his arms, waiting to see the shit storm that fell down. It would be pretty funny if the kid tried attacking Reno, but... The blond didn't really feel like beating anyone up right then. He was trying to move past hurting others. "I'm Reno Sol. Now tell me your real fucking name and we can go from there." He threw in for good measure. He wasn't calling that punk "The Mask".

Hunter Evans

Hunter sighed with boredom once the principal had given his little introduction. He already wasn't too fond of him. If he had chosen to have this as his job he should be a little more positive. Speaking of which... Hunter looked over at where Lacey was still sitting down staring blankly ahead. He sighed again, this time with exasperation. He touched her shoulder gently, and her eyes opened wider the slightest bit. She looked up lazily at him and stood slowly, taking the hand he had offered. "Here," he handed her his iPod and slightly bulky headphones. She took them gratefully, mumbling a thank-you that couldn't be easily heard over the sound of students conversing. Hunter opened his mouth to speak when a guy sporting a mask leaped onto the stage and gave his own, personal, introduction. Lacey, currently occupied with music, ignored him entirely. Hunter wondered if she even noticed him, and made a mental note on 'The Mask':oddball, but possible friend.
He stretched his arms and let out a yawn. "Alright, let's get you to your dorm and unpack, then I'll show you around," he told Lacey.

Lacey Evans

"Alright, let's get you to your dorm and unpack, then I'll show you around," it was Hunter. Lacey let out an annoyed sigh.
"Sure thing Jekyll," she replied dully. It sounded like a total drag, in her opinion, and unfortunately it couldn't be helped. Hunter could be as bad as a mule when he got his mind set on something. "Come on," Lacey sighed. She passed some people who had already started talking to each other. They all looked pretty pissed, except for this one guy wearing a mask. He'd probably get smothered by the likes of those jerks, Lacey thought pessimistically.

Hunter Evans

"Come on," Hunter shook his head and followed her as she made her way through the crowd. She got bumped more than once, resulting in her cursing the people in a low, dark hiss. He apologized on her behalf to them all, knowing that they'd get set off easier than others, and it wouldn't be a good way to start her year.
This batch of students was more...hostile, in a way. Edgier, kind of like him. He was slowly gaining control, however, unlike these kids from the looks of it. Well, that was the whole point of them coming here, wasn't it?
"Do us both a favor, and try not to make too many enemies on your first day here?" he whispered to his younger sister.
"Whatever you say candy-cane." Hunter rolled his eyes. It was her latest nickname for him, but she used it with a smile in a sisterly way. So he didn't mind as much. They worked their way out of the auditorium soon enough, and went to where her bags were still waiting in his room.

Coraline Adams

"Welcome, students!"
Coraline looked up at the stage where the School Principal stood, as he made a seemingly important announcement. She wasn't really listening though. She was too busy counting the lines on the palm of her hand to pay much attention.
"Psst."
Coraline looked up as someone hissed in her ear. A small, eleven year old girl with light brown hair that fell to below her shoulders, and seaweed green eyes stood in front of her. Ruby Simons.

"Ruby, what are you doing here?" Coraline whispered, frantically looking left and right at the neaby students. None of them seemed to notice their conversation. In fact, no one seemed to even acknowledge the fact that Ruby was there. They all looked bored, and none of them were reall paying attention to the speech, just like Coraline. "I came here to get rid of you!"

A hurt expression crossed Ruby's face. "Get- Get rid of me? Why would you want to do that?" Her eyebrows furrowed, and her bottom lip started to tremble, as if she was holding back tears. "No, no! I- I didn't- I'm sorry!" Coraline mumbled, wrapping the child in a bear hug.

"Classes will be dismissed today. They will officially start tomorrow, starting with your five-thirty a.m wake-up call. Today, you will find a teacher to show you to your dorm rooms. The student dorm building is right alongside the teachers' dorm building, so if any of you are having any issues in the middle of the night, don't hesitate to pay them a visit."
Coraline unwrapped herself from the child's arms as the Principal continued. "You are all dismissed. Once you put your things in your rooms, feel free to explore campus and speak to the staff as you like. It is five o' clock now, so you have one hour before dinner. Bedtime is at nine and lights out at nine thirty. We'll be checking." He waved a hand. "Dismissed."

As soon as he walked off the stage, a boy with red hair jumped out of his seat.
"Good day, citizens! I go by many names, but you may call me The Mask. Don't worry--I am just like you! So don't be intimidated by my appearance and please go about your daily business."
Coraline's eyebrows furrowed for a second, before her face turned back to its usual cheery self. "Hi The Ma-" she started, before being interruped by Ruby again.

"Help me!" the girl shrieked, as she slowly started to fade away. Coraline glanced around, but yet again, no one else had heard the girl. Angrily, and slightly frustrated, Coraline stood up and yelled, "What am I supposed to do?!"

There was no no response from the girl, and she soon disappeared into nothing. Coraline wasn't alarmed though. She knew she would be back sooner or later. She always was.

Coraline sat back down and began humming to herself, unaware of what to do, acting as if it had never happened.

Zoe had spent the first twelve hours of her day riding in a car with her mother, who kept apologizing for the situation that they were in now. Her mother didn't mean a damn word she said or Zoe wouldn't even be here. She took one glance at her mother before biting her lip hard. "Shut the fuck up." She said rolling her eyes. "You are the reason we are even in this situation. Do you even realize what you've done?" She found herself smashing a foot against the floor board before brushing her hair out of her eyes. "My future is dead. Every pageant you put me in.. A fucking waste." She had no more respect for her mother. Her life was ruined and it was her mother's fault.

As the school came into view, Zoe felt herself closing up for the next year. She wasn't going to let anybody in because she no longer needed anybody. Her own mother let her down, so why would she even consider letting some stranger into her life. Before her mom could even put the car in park, Zoe was out of it making her way to the trunk. She quickly grabbed her luggage out and headed into the main entrance.

"Zoe, please. Wait." Her mother called as she was having trouble untangling the seatbelt from around her. "Zoe!" With one last glance back to her mother, she walked into the school. That's the thing about this school. No parents are allowed to come in with the kids. Something about making their start easier on them. Zoe was greatly at this point.

She ran into one of the teachers and was quickly escorted to the auditorium. She noticed that she was either close to last or dead last to enter the room. She stood up straight making her way to the front row, taking a seat far apart from anybody. Listening to the principal became a drag not even two seconds into his speech. She found herself looking around rather at him to see if she could catch glance at any of the other students. Before she knew it, the principal had dismissed them to unpack and mingle. She would do one of the two and that was unpack.

She rose from her chair and walked past the boy who claimed to be 'The Mask', politely excusing herself past him so she could get to the door. Out in the hall she found herself lost. She noticed a teacher guiding a boy away, so she followed close behind to see if the two were headed for the dorms. Luckily for her, they were. She had to pull out her booklet with the information provided to her and found that she was at the end of the hall. This would mean walking back to boy that she noted would be in room two.

"Hey." She said quickly before continuing on her way to her dorm, where she rushed to get inside before more students would appear. Once inside, she began to unpack. This became a huge drag the second she opened her suitcase. She found herself making up her bed and collapsing on top of it until she heard the bell for dinner.

The students didn't seem to be too bothered by the presentation and none of them seemed to be asking the teachers for their help for anything, so the teachers all gave up from boredom and went off on their own. The students weren't the only ones excited for the free hour before dinner. They had stuff to do and it did not include hanging around here with all these weird, whacked children. Was that girl talking to a chair? Or to herself? Creepy. But nothing they weren't used to, of course. They knew all this stuff when they signed up for this job. And the teachers were all specially chosen--although they didn't know that. For their job interview, they were made to take a psychological and personality test and were basically chosen based on their results on those. After all, it took a few near-crazies to take care of the total-crazies.

"Listen, The Idiot, I'm not going to help someone who can't follow the crowd and figure out for his own self where a couple of dorm rooms are. Especially since you look like some stupid hero cast-off from a fucking comic book from the fuckass fifties. So unless you have a better idea of what the hell you're doing, then leave me the fuck alone." Well. That was no way to treat a hero. No way at all. Nobody treated a hero that way except for the... Oh! Oh dear! Oh no! This guy! Kevin knew exactly who this guy must be! He took an appalled step back, putting his guard up. "I'm Reno Sol. Now tell me your real fucking name and we can go from there." A trick! It had to be! He was trying to learn The Mask's secret identity to use it against him! Well! The Mask would not fall for that one!

Kevin pointed accusingly at the bleach-blond-haired male. The one with the cocky attitude and the nasty words that should never, ever be repeated around a young child. Why, Kevin felt offended just having to hear them. Well, and also because they had been aimed at him. "You! I will not give away my secret identity! What kind of fool do you take me for?" He gripped his "mask"--a.k.a, the thin piece of blue cloth covering his eyes that he'd made himself--and adjusted it to make sure it was still on nice and tight. "And you, sir, are no citizen at all, are you? You...you're a villain! A heinous fiend! A follower of all things dark and evil! Well, you can't fool me with your good-guy facade!"

He backed up a little more, planning on making a dramatic exit. "I don't have time for you now, 'Reno Sol'--if that's even your real name! What kind of villain name is that anyway? It's kind of lame. I'll give you something better..." He paused a moment as if he forgot what sort of situation he was even in, and as if he were having a cool and casual conversation with this kid he'd never met before, before snapping out of it with a shrug. "I'll think of it." He became suddenly as dramatic as before, pointing his finger again. "But I will return! So you better watch out! For..." Dramatic pause. "The--ahh! Ow!" Somewhere during the dramatic pause, Kevin turned around to run off (dramatically, of course), and ended up turning and running into one of the chairs, awkwardly tripping over the armrest, and falling flat on his face. He sniffed, eyes going watery, but he managed not to cry as he picked himself up and brushed himself off. He sniffed again, pointing at Reno once more. "You... Don't think that'll work again, you fiend! I'll be back!" And with that, he ran off in a much less dramatic and much more careful fashion.

When Kevin did finally make it to the dorms, he felt way out of sorts. He checked his schedule, which told him he was supposed to be in room 1, but that didn't feel...right. He looked around, feeling all too lost, even though he was standing right outside his dorm room door, staring at the number, frowning and squinting at it as if it could stare back. Yeah, definitely a trap. He looked around again and saw a couple people talking, but didn't want to interrupt them. What if they were spies? Ah! There! She looked brave! Just as a raven-haired girl was shutting a door with the number 10 marked on it, Kevin was there, frowning that he hadn't managed to catch her in time. Hesitating, he knocked and waited, rocking on the heels of his feet.

Zoe Zanders

Zoe slid down the back of her door looking around the small compartment they considered a room. "Fucking fabulous." She said as she kicked the dresser with her tennis shoe before realizing the lamp resting on it. Hearing the crash of the lamp on the floor, Zoe knew she was about to be in some deep shit. "Really?" She caught herself on her feet, rushing to her bathroom that she now realized didn't have a door on it. Is all this really necessary? We can't all be that messed up.. She thought to herself before dragging a towel from beneath the sink. The lamp would be made of glass of all things. "Oh no door, but here.. Cut yourselves to pieces. We don't mind!" She said in her idea of what one of the teachers would say here. She bent down trying not to let her knees touch the ground, afraid she would cut her knee on some glass.

Just has she had put the last piece of glass in the towel, the knock arrived. Frozen in her current position, she felt her heart begin to race and the sudden urge to freak rose from deep within. How could they already know she broke the lamp? It was literally a two minute time span between all the stuff that had just happened from her closing the door. "One second!" Zoe yelled towards the door, knowing she would be in trouble if she didn't get rid of the evidence. She looked around the room searching for a place to stash the broken glass. Under the bed? The thought didn't even seem to be one as quickly as it was answered when she lifted the comforter revealing that the bed was attached to the floor with no way of accessing the space under it. "Sorry, I was just changing! Be right there.. Almost done."

Zoe only thought of one more place, the lid of the toilet. Placing her knee on the seat of the toilet, she lifted the back lid slowing to make sure no sound would escape to the front door. She realized she would now have to set each individual piece in there if she wanted to be smooth or placed the whole towel in there. Of course, she went with the last. She reached for the bathroom door only to be reminded of it's nonexistence. Rolling her eyes, she finally approached the door. To her surprise there were no faculty members on the other side, but a boy who seemed to be a student here as well. "Hi." That was the only word that made it through her lips as she felt a huge boulder lift from her shoulders.

"You can come in?" She didn't know the rules for boys in girl's rooms, but at this moment she didn't care. She straightened out her clothes before realizing she hadn't changed like she said she did. Giving the boy an awkward smile, "I put back on my original clothes..." Hearing her own words made her cringe at how stupid she sounded. "I'm Zoe." That a girl, nice save from stupidity. She waited for the boy's response as she let her shoulder fall against the door that read 10.

Yoshiya Kamelot

You realize there was someone who was talking to you earlier, right? Kai laughed in his head, enjoying the surprised reaction Konni gave him.

What? No way, you’re kidding, I mean…I thought I could hear everything I mean...I…I only had one ear bud in and oh my god, maybe he thinks I don’t like him and it had to have been the green boy since he looked so alone and oh Kain please go find him!

The person currently residing in the body commonly called β€˜Yosiya’ huffed and paused in his actions, which was the simple action of folding clothes and putting them away.

β€œWhy me? Get you’re sorry ass out here and all will be fine dandy. Ya know as soon as I see β€˜em I’ll fuck β€˜im up, right?” It wasn’t as if Kain wanted to be cold and ruthless all the time. He was aware of what he was doing, but it wasn’t like he could stop it. Just, no one seemed to resist his charming good looks, that Yoshi possessed of course, and followed him back to where ever he fucked them.

Oh, no Kain-boy. It’s gotta be you. See he’s like us, except there is only one of him. You know? When it was Konni? It’s like that, boy. So, I heard the other one yellin at us, but Kon’s music was a little to loud to talk to him, ya know? Kai’s voice echoed in his mind, and with a sigh, Kain put down his β€˜work’ and shuffled his feet out the door, cursing the other two out in various ways, even slipping in what the two called β€˜nerd language’ since he cursed them in the ways of math and science, as well as English, and other various β€˜school-like’ ways.

Not even ten feet from where Kain stood outside his door, was the green haired boy, looking around for his number.

β€œOi, kid.” Kain called out, gritting his teeth and mentally choking Konni, β€œI…er…you had called out to me earlier, yes? I….fuck! Whatever, you’re like me are you not? You have another person up here,” he tapped his head, his eyes rolling, β€œWell there’s 4 of us, includin’ me. The one you tried to talk to is an idiot β€˜n I’m talking to you now so if you wanna be friends with…any except me, tell me now. Or I’m outta here.”

Ah! Lookie here Yosh! It’s big bad Kain talkin civilly to someone! Kain wanted nothing more in that moment then to find some way to strangle the other voices.

His urge was only amplified when the other three laughed at him. They’d all pay for that. In some way.

Olivia Thorn

A roughness within the wooden chair that Olivia Thorn sat upon made her frown as she shuffled to try and be comfortable to no avail. There were only a small number of other individuals such as her sat on similar chairs within a hall, they seemed pretty wacky, there was a kid dressed up as a comic book hero for Christ’s sake, did he make that outfit himself or something?

Positioned near the right a few rows from the back of the room a voice boomed over them, a voice Olivia found disturbingly pointless, it was of course the principles as he barked on about the school she had found herself enrolled in. If anything Olivia would have chosen to avoid this place, the new walls, new seats, new people, new everything, it shook her a little as she blew deep breaths to keep calm. New places were not something Olivia could deal with, that was because she suffered from general adaptation syndrome, a hazard of a nuisance. She wouldn’t let anyone know she was struggling though, that was her problem alone.

Sitting back she scanned the people around her muffling out a quick impulse of laughter as the comic book kid announced himself as β€˜the mask’ of all things possible. Why on earth would someone do that? Olivia mused over the thought smirking as she gazed around the other students her eyes looking out for potential future victims to her devious spying. Her eyes frowned slightly when she overheard the pink haired boy talking, with every few paragraphs he seemed to talk like a different person, it was strange and it shocked her slightly. Olivia knew the school was for problem youths, but she hadn’t really prepared herself for meeting others with serious psychological problems. This was going to be a new experience, what was up with each of the people here? They must all have their own secrets, stories, morals; she wondered what she may discover amongst such a new flock with a new eagerness.

The silver haired male did not look too pleased with the comic book kid’s gesture of welcome which attracted her attention within the crowd as some left for their dorms; Olivia figured that was where they were going anyway. The kid was seriously overplaying it with his manners, did he always talk that? What interested her however, was the look on the silver haired one’s face, he was agitated instantly, meaning he was probably someone easy to anger. A devilish grin spread across her lips as she made a mental note, definite easy target to annoy when bored.

When silver hair responded with "Listen, The Idiot, I'm not going to help someone who can't follow the crowd and figure out for his own self where a couple of dorm rooms are. Especially since you look like some stupid hero cast-off from a fucking comic book from the fuckass fifties. So unless you have a better idea of what the hell you're doing, then leave me the fuck alone." something triggered within Olivia that suddenly made her burst out loud laughing as she looked at the pair quite obviously.

His insult really was pretty accurate to the comic book kids appearance but his nickname of β€˜the idiot’ amused her greatly.

β€œSuch pleasant greetings” she spoke up in a light toned voice yet loud enough to leave a small echo within the hall they were in. Letting out a few more laughs she stood up without any explanation only to have that comic book kid fall over a chair right infront of her. It was hard not to raise an eyebrow with the surprise, it was the oncoming laughter that she struggled to hold back moving a hand to her mouth in order to fiegn it off, she really shouldn't laugh at clumsiness. 'The mask' soon darted out of the door however leaving that grizzly silver haired boy alone, probably something he prefered by the look of him. Grizzly, yes, that suited what of his personality she had seen already already, maybe it would annoy him too? She would have to find out later anyhow.

Looking around she felt her palms grow clammy, this place was alien to her, new territory, she didn't yet know of its in's and out's, or where the doorms were for that matter. Catching a final glimpse of comic book kid as he just left the room she made a quick decision, annoying grizzly can come later, though it was definietly something she was going to do, she needed a pass time of course.
Nimbly making her way out of the clash of chairs due to 'the mask's' fall Olivia darted after him being sure to keep a good pace back so as not to be noticed as she took in everything her eyes scanned, her hands clenching into fists as her heart rose. She did not like being alone in new environments, she needed something familiar at least, anything, she looked back at the purple suitcase she dragged behind her for a second, it was little comfort as she rarely used it.

Eventually her plan came to success, following comic book kid lead her right to the doorms, though the hallway looked errily long to her, every step took determination. She came here to get over those stupid nightmares, this stupid adaption syndrome, she had to suck it in and deal with it whether she wanted too or not. Comic book kid ran to knock on some door, maybe it was his though why would he knock? Olivia took a deep breath and forced herself to take a step forward, it was difficult but steadily breathing tended to help. Her suitcase made an odd rattle its hinges a tad rusted as she moved down the hall at a rather slow pace.

"Just another few steps Liv, you can do this, there you go, now one more"
she mentally tried to encourage herself.

Her head was directed at her feet as she moved past the two boys stood talking, one had unusual green hair, it kind of suited him though he looked a bit young, was he old enough to even be here? The other was the guy she had seen speaking before in the hall, the one with multiple personalities, what was it like to have that she wondered? Would he be easy to annoy? Or did each personality have their own likes and dislikes, did they communicate, how many can one person have, how do you know which one is the original? So many questions buzzed in her mind, she wanted to know, she wanted to know the answers to all of them. That was what made Olivia as nosey as she was, she always had questions and just wanted them answered, of course she also liked knowing things so she could put the knowledge to use especially if its a means of annoyance.

Suddenly stopping pulling her purple suitcase up to her she looked up at the two boys still clenching, then un-clenching her hand from a fist as she tried to push her syndrome to the back of her mind. "How many?" she suddenly asked the pink haired one without much background to her question "How many personalities do you have? Is it weird?" she continued unaware if she may be making him uncomfortable or not, Olivia never payed that much notice when asking questions.
Her eyes flickered back and forth between them, she wondered what the green haired kids problem was, she hadn't heard him talk much yet she had been sat too far away in the hall to listen.

#, as written by Iriden
The black and white cruiser rolled up to Clear Thoughts, maneuvering lazily down towards the main doors, unimpeded by the security that existed. Elli let out a sigh as she leaned against the front passenger side door, exhaling a cloud of smoke along with the last of her fleeting hopes, cigarette hanging limp in her hand outside the window. Her short blue tipped hair waved lazily in the warm breeze as the vehicle pulled up to the curb.

'Maybe there will be some interesting people here...' she thought to herself as she eyed the familiar structure of what amounted to yet another Ward. They were either intriguing, bothersome or downright harmful. But at least they were interesting and past the time. Officer Norris waited patiently for Elli as she let out another groan, this time the smoke exited her nose like an angry bull, dissipating quickly on the wind. He'd arrested the girl plenty of times, in some interesting situations, and had worked with her more times than that to get her through the system. Truly this was her last hope. If she didn't complete some kind of program before she turned 21, her probation was going to be revoked and a host of other bad things would follow. Her mental state only protected her so much, the rest was just bad decisions the courts didn't recognize as symptoms of her afflictions.

His thoughts were interrupted by a long, muffled, exasperated,
"Duuude." He looked over to see her cheek smashed against her forearm as she half laid, half hung out her window, trying to be pathetic. He didn't respond and she finally gave in.

Elli ran through the mental log of what she had in her backpack. Norris already took her crowbar, again. She cross referenced this quickly with her journal as she dug through her dusty suede pack, patched with different colored material she found from time to time. Her black and baggy jeans were the same way. She wore through stuff pretty quick.
All was accounted for. She took another drag, realizing she couldn't stall much longer, her LM was at the butt now. Opening the door, she stepped out of the car.

"Remember what I told you Elli..." he said softly as he turned, looking Elli in the eyes.
"Yea dude, I got this." She said, smirking sarcastically.
"Good, just remember it. Remember ok? Also, I didn't tell them you smoked. I doubt these rent-a-cops noticed you yet." He said, gesturing to the now smoldering filter between her fingers. A crooked smile broke out across Elli's face as he said this last detail. She dropped it fluidly and stepped on it, without breaking eye contact.
Grabbing her backpack she wheeled about, shutting the door as she went and opened her journal. She flipped to Norris's section. He had quiet a few pages and a sketch of his face. She logged the date and simply wrote, "Fine by me. Owes one Crowbar." The sudden departure didn't bother Norris, he was used to her mood, antics and episodes. He let off the brake and tried to hope.

With that, Elli sidled forward, noting the lay of everything and thinking about how it might look in the dark. She found the auditorium easily enough, the students were already standing however. 'Great, highschool all over again, great start to the year Elli.' She thought as she moved close to a group, feigning good attendance. She couldn't recall an orientation she'd ever made it too. Maybe she just couldn't recall. The kids all seemed younger than her. 'Fantastic.' This place was weird, she'd never been in an institute styled like this, it'll be cool if the staff is loose with regulations. Hopefully she could find a guy above 18 at least or a couple girls. She followed the crowds, listening in as she walked. She heard some strange stuff and intense reactions between kids. Maybe some of them were violent. It would be cool to find some mutilated bodies, or know someone dangerous was creeping around at night...

Apparently people were hitting their dorms. She remembered the key she had, room 8 and double checked it's existence with her Journal, making a note. "Cell 8 Mine. Does exist. Believed Single Resident. Unconfirmed." She'd 'Confirm' it once she'd been inside and hopefully things would stay that way. She could pry almost any window to smoke out of, though bars still proved impervious to her tampering and modify everything in general to her usual liking. No roommate made anything doable given enough time. The others ahead of her started mingling or going in and setting up shop.

'Sweet, I love MPD's almost as much as Schizo's. Though Tights is a little much...' She thought to herself, completely serious, after seeing Kevins interaction with some of the others. Tights seemed good natured. Definitely a snitch though, more than likely, but probably a worthwhile friend, from what she saw of him in the auditorium. You could count on the extreme one to always be extreme. Extremely gullible, extremely brave, extremely violent... and so on. She made a note of this along with a quick sketch of both their faces and began fumbling the non lethal hotel card key into the lock of her room. No place used metal keys, for obvious reasons. She'd have to stack something against her door to keep creepy staff and other people out at night. These locks were really easy to bypass by somebody with the access to the card machine, certain software or... a crow bar.

She hated that she couldn't work them if she was sleep walking.

Coraline Adams
A few people began to leave the room, and no idea, what to do, Cora followed them. She rememered hearing something, a while back, before she had even reached the school, about her number being six. Whatever that meant. Whenever Cora thought of six, her mind just travelled, until she had arrived at the number sixty-nine. She giggled at her own dirty mind, before picking up her pace.

She reached a hall with a lot of doors in it - after getting lost a couple of times and finally hearing others up some stairs - and she noticed a few people talking in the corner. She gave them a short and sweet, "Hi!" waving one of her hands slightly as she did so. She then continued on her way, seemingly without a care in the world, with no idea what to do.

She began walking alongside, the doors, knocking on each one as she passed, though never waiting for anyone to answer. She finally reached one labelled '6' and realized that it must be her room. She glanced back over her shoulder at the others, who by now seemed to be having some sort of argument. With a slight sigh, Coraline entered the room, and closed the door with a slight thump behind her.

((OOC: Sorry for the short post... writers block, most likely. Or maybe it's just because I bit my tongue. Whatever.))

Kevin DuVaye

This was taking too long. This was taking way too long. She'd just closed the door! How far away from it could she possibly be!? Something had to of happened. Something terrible. Spies? Muggers? A trap door? Deadly blades from the walls? Ninjas?! The possibilities were endless! And every second Kevin stood there worrying about them, he was wasting the time he could be spending saving this poor damsel in distress! He heard a crash from inside and tensed up, his mind whirring into paranoid action again. Should he act or should he wait? It was rude to burst into others' rooms, after all. But she could be gagged and tied with a gun to her head at this very moment, silently begging for a hero to come and save her! Where was her hero? Where was he? He should go in! He should--

"Hi." Kevin felt himself jump from surprise, staring widely at the girl who stood in the doorway. Why, she looked completely normal! No cuts or bruises. She didn't appear to be hiding anything, like a man with a gun behind her door. She appeared to be as normal as she'd been before she entered the room. ...Which only made things more suspicious. "You can come in?" He narrowed his eyes, looking up at her before glancing past her into the room. Things seemed to be alright. Nothing looked out of place. No signs of a struggle. "I put back on my original clothes..." Oh. So that was it. That would probably explain the noise. She was probably just unpacking. He'd just over-reacted. Phew. Case solved. "I'm Zoe."

Kevin smiled broadly. "Good day, citizen. I am the..." No, he was forgetting. He had to blend in here, didn't he? Normal citizens did not carry heroic titles. "Kevin. My name's Kevin." He looked beyond her, into the room once again. "I came by to question you about your living arrangements..." He pursed his lips. No, no, he was wrong. There was definitely something off about this room. Something missing, maybe? Her getting dressed didn't explain the crashing noise, but there was no sign of struggle or the sight of anything broken. This room had to be more booby-trapped than his own. Not trustable at all. Poor girl. "But I believed I've changed my mind. Is everything alright here?" He turned back to study her face, mentally noting the voices of people in the background as they shared conversation or went off to their rooms.

He planned to leave to his room again once the girl, Zoe, answered his question, but their conversation was interrupted by the buzzing sound of the built-in intercom system. It echoed down the hall and from inside everyone's rooms, a speaker placed in each one, one placed on either end of the hall. The Principal's voice rang out from it. "Excuse me staff and students, but there seems to be a change in plans. Something has come up and we've decided to move everything up thirty minutes. Dinner will begin in ten minutes. Please finish packing and hurry down to the cafeteria to begin eating. Do not be late." The voice buzzed out, leaving Kevin with a sense of disappointment.

Konstantyn Alphonse de La Fontaine

Silence enveloped the pink-haired male as the principal paced quickly back and fourth on the stage; an emotionless and serious expression plastered onto the younger male's features with the slender, porcelain face. Large, bulky headphones were wrapped nicely around his neck like a coiled anaconda, and ironically enough, Konstantyn did kind of like snakes. Anyways, he barely paid any attention as his eyes kept straying off, looking at the other students in silent curiosity. Obviously, Kon was a mysterious individual; it is hard to tell what he is thinking to the point it becomes intimidating. He may be thinking he wants to kill you, hug you, be nice, scream at you, he's generally unpredictable.

So was this school, but y'know, this is a school for the "insane". It's rather believable for it to be utterly unpredictable.

Getting off topic now, sorry. Problems, y'know? Anyways, there was a rather delicate appearing green-headed boy, followed by a kid with a mask, a girl with short dark hair, a redhead with white stripes in his hair, "Kind of reminds me of a race car," the pink-haired male whispered to himself. Honestly it was kind of neat to see that here, people were actually being themselves for once, though that may be a little hypocritical referring to the French/Polish kid, Konstantyn.

Kon had sharp, teal eyes, to say the least if you wish to describe appearance, which show no emotion whatsoever. His eyes are his most prominent feature, and how, it was kind of ironic there was another kid that looked just like him, except without glasses and his face was more round, and well, adding the fact he looked a bit younger than Kon here. It was actually interesting.

The male's straying and distracted gaze shifted down to his manicured and long nails; they had no else color than a salmon pink. His fingernails could pass as girl nails, but he keeps them long for reasons:

Number one, it's hard to open packages. I mean, you have to use scissors and shit. It's easier to use nails.

Number two, he keeps them for a personal reason. Just look beyond the scarf around his neck, if you really dare.

Well now, Konstantyn only opened his ears to listen to the part about dorms; he needed some relaxation for once, though he took a mental note to stay a bit far away from the other teenagers and children at the dinner table when dinner time hits him. Also, the pink haired kid tends to sit weird at dinner tables because there's a ledge: he sits with his legs pressed against his chest like he's almost curling into a ball, and he lowers his head to let his soft, conditioned pink hair fall in front of his eyes.

Once everything was over, he rose quietly, bangs just barely covering his emotionless eyes. He began to walk, slightly slouched, until a kid came walking up to him; and he was a mess. He stuttered, and all else, and he seemed socially awkward, kind of like how Konstantyn is except more innocent-acting. What a sweet bo-

......

Okay. The sudden change spooked Konstantyn just a bit, he could admit that, though he didn't flinch or show any emotion: as always, you should expect it, especially from this strange-ass kid. Fuck, you should just put him in the Addams family. Konstantyn "Addams", the poker face wise-ass. Fitting.

Konstantyn inhaled as the male spoke, threatening him and all else, then before he could speak another kid showed up; that kid that looked just like him. Becoming frustrated, he sighed. "If you could let me speak, I'll gladly tell you where your dorm is, and the threats are not needed. By the way, I do speak English obviously, despite being Polish and French, and I'm not as big as an idiot you may believe I am. I am simply quiet." Blinking slowly, he flexed his tensing hands and pointed in the direction of the dorms. "I studied the map before I came. I should know, unless you don't want to trust me, and be an arrogant child. Though, it's believable; in fact, don't trust me. Actually, the threats are wanted, because I really don't care if you wish to beat me up. You know what, do beat me up. Then it's all fun." The male blinked slowly as he extended a slender digit to move his glasses back onto the bridge of his knows, teal eyes staring down at the male and then the other, who supposedly had Dissociative Identity Disorder. Interesting.

Slipping his headphones back on to listen, he ducked his head as he stuffed his hands in his pockets and silently turned away, slouching as well, which was normal, for him at least. "You're welcome." Konstantyn mumbled as he made his way to the door to exit.

Reno Sol

"You! I will not give away my secret identity! What kind of fool do you take me for?" The crazy (look who was talking) redhead gripped his stupid "mask" thing and adjusted it, as if he was worried it was falling off. Reno felt his annoyance grow, resisting the urge to start attacking something out of anger. "And you, sir, are no citizen at all, are you? You...you're a villain! A heinous fiend! A follower of all things dark and evil! Well, you can't fool me with your good-guy facade!" Wait, what? Even Reno, asshole or assholes, wasn't sure where the fuck this idiot was coming from. Citizen? Villain? And then it all made sense. Reno had to hold back a laugh. Or, well, a snort. This guy was even crazier than Reno! This'll be fun to fuck with.

"I don't have time for you now, 'Reno Sol'--if that's even your real name! What kind of villain name is that anyway? It's kind of lame. I'll give you something better..." What, now Reno was going to get some kind of stupid villain name? Ugh, that was going to be plain annoying. He didn't want to play this kid's game. He didn't play games in the first place. Reno was literally moments away before just leaving the brat to do whatever the fuck he wanted. Reno had better things to do. "I'll think of it." And now the blond had this finger in his face, wanting more than anything to bite the fucking digit off. "But I will return! So you better watch out! For..." A pause. "The--ahh! Ow!"

Reno was going to lose it. The kid had managed to trip over a chair during his little drama queen thing and was now about to cry. Because he had tripped a little. He wasn't bleeding, so what was the problem? It was certainly cheap, if annoying, amusement. Reno made a mental note to, whenever he was bored, find this kid. "You... Don't think that'll work again, you fiend! I'll be back!" And with that, he left. Reno blinked and shook his head, scowling and glaring at anyone left as he walked to the dorms. He found his room quickly and, without waiting or looking for anyone to talk to (why would he want to know anyone else in this dump?), walked right into his dorm. This place is stupid, he thought as he slammed his door shut.

Zsylo

"If you could let me speak, I'll gladly tell you where your dorm is, and the threats are not needed. By the way, I do speak English obviously, despite being Polish and French, and I'm not as big as an idiot you may believe I am. I am simply quiet." ... What the fuck is up with this stupid asshole? Why is he talking to us like this?! I should take him out! Zsylo was not in a good mood. He was already fighting against enough issues, he didn't have the patience to deal with this guy. I think he's trying to point to where the dorms are... Mylo pointed out, trying to keep his other side on task and not attack anyone the first day. "I studied the map before I came. I should know, unless you don't want to trust me, and be an arrogant child. Though, it's believable; in fact, don't trust me. Actually, the threats are wanted, because I really don't care if you wish to beat me up. You know what, do beat me up. Then it's all fun." The stranger blinked slowly, Zsylo trying to understand what just happened.

I don't follow him. He wants me to beat him up? I'm not sure... I think he wants us to trust him? In truth, neither side of the greenette really understood what was going on. Mylo wished he was back in control, but he knew better than to start fighting Zsylo for control in front of another person. Besides, when the more aggressive of the two wanted to be in power, he was in power. Mylo really just had to ask nicely and hope that Zsylo was in a good mood, or else he'd practically never be the one doing things. Not like that would be terrible, but sometimes he met people that he didn't want to anger. He seems nice, Mylo added, trying to make the peace. Nice my ass.

"You're welcome." There was a pause as Mylo and Zsylo tried to figure out to do. For someone like Zsylo, of course, it was quite easy, but... Mylo wanted to get along with the stranger. He wanted to have a friend, for once in his life. I am your friend! Besides you! And, well, he looks nice! He doesn't want to hurt us! No, he wants me to hurt him! You should let me attack him! The only thing stopping Zsylo from enjoying himself and attacking was Mylo. Mylo would be greatly upset if Zsylo did something like that without reason.

"..... What the fuck is your name even supposed to be?" Zsylo asked, stepping forward and roughly yanking on the back of the stranger's shirt roughly so the teen was forced to stop or rip the shirt in question. Zsylo was being about as polite as he could be, which was quite impressive. All because Mylo wanted to make friends. This is going to get you hurt and then I'm going to have save your ass, so don't complain when that happens! "I'm Zsylo, like I said, but the peaceful brat earlier is called Mylo. Don't get us confused, dumbass." Zsylo hesitated before rubbing the back of his head and extending a hand for the other teen to shake.

"Listen. Mylo is being an annoying brat and keeps telling me he wants to be your fucking friend, so peace for now? I won't even beat you up unless you hurt him." There was a dark gleam in Zsylo's eyes for a moment before disappearing, replaced by his usual anger. "Hurt him and I will motherfucking kill you in such a god-damned painful way that you will regret your damned parents even being fucking born. Got that, dumbfuck?... Tch."

Zoe Zanders

Stop being so awkward! Zoe screamed to her inner self as she saw that the boy in front of her looked around her with suspicion. How long had she kept him waiting? She ran through the time she thought it took, but the thinking made her add extra time that she knew didn't exist and now made her feel like she was making him question her. Her thoughts were now being interupted by the boy in front of her. She gave a slight shake of her head to focus on the boy, who was in the middle of something. ..Kevin. My name's Kevin. She glanced over the boy several times before letting a small smile appear on her face. "Kevin's a very nice name." She said before he seemed to continue on his thoughts without a response to her compliment. I came by to question you about your living arrangements. Wait, what was he doing? Questioning my living arrangements?

Before Zoe could even speak up, Kevin continued on with what she thought were the tens of thousands of thoughts that must be rushing through his head. She wondered why he was here, but she honestly didn't care. But I believed I've changed my mind. Is everything alright here? "Oh god, you could hear the crash?" She looked up and down the hall before she felt her breathing slow back down when she realized only students appeared in the hall. "Sorry, I just rather not start off the year with causing trouble. I broke a lamp. Don't want the faculty to think I'm trying to kill myself or anything. I'm happy with the way I am, and I don't believe in a place like this to change us." She looked down at her waist that appeared to be normal, but if you lifted up the shirt you'd see how sunken in it was beginning to get.

"I think we should be our true--" Before she could get everything out, the intercom seemed to yell across the hall. Schedule change? Fantastic. I get to meet everybody sooner. Yay.. NOT. "Would you like to go to lunch with me? You are the only person I actually know.. Well, not know. Well, I mean.. Met." She found herself scrambling for words, but she didn't care. She didn't get caught breaking a lamp, so she accepted how stupid she was being. "If you don't want to, it's fine.. I'm not that hungry."

Elli had gone inside her dorm and looked everything over by the time the intercom rang out. The room was adequate. Posh even, by her standards and experience. The Cases here must not be particularly bad or the staff expects miracles out of this place, judging by the amount of gifted furniture and improvis-able implements of violence this room contained. Hopefully the food would be good then. Unlikely though it was. They had a budget after all, she was sure. Wall sockets seemed to be non existent. If she could find one somewhere safe in the building she could pull it loose, cross the wires and light a smoke, she never counted on having her lighter long. Maybe she'd find some cool staff or resourceful kids. The window was usable for her needs, though shaped in such a way as prevent escape. There were smoke and monoxide detectors of course, but they were easy enough to outwit by covering the intake or with the toilet paper tube and dryer sheets she kept separately in her pack. She thought about what illness' she could feign in order to get the leeway she needed to thoroughly enjoy her stay.

She tampered with the detectors, lit her smoke, and moved a chair to the window which she had cracked as open as it could be, also tearing a small hole in the screen for her butts. Down below was enough growth to hide them. She was pleased her room was on an outside wall. She disliked being centered in a facility and loved fresh air. Sitting with her feet in the chair, on her haunches, She made a note of the room in her journal and picked through her backpack. It was stuffed with the meager possessions she had. Mostly clothes and a couple books with very slim dugouts in the pages for her smokes and other things. She didn't place any of it in the drawers or anywhere else, having lost stuff before that way. By way of others or when staff came to 'relocate' her.

She combined the dryer sheets and kleenex into the toilet paper roll and exhaled through it, looking outside. Very little smoke came through and the room suddenly smelled of clean clothes. The air was moving outside luckily, carrying the bluish white lace off her cigarette with it. Her mind wandered to what this time was going to be like. She did like it already, though she knew this way of life for a long time. She figured she wanted to be different, functional as the critics called it, but... who's to say what that was? Though maybe she'd just spent to much time around sick people. Sighing, she ashed out of the hole in the screen. It had taken her a while, but she had amassed a decent amount of tools to accomplish needs such as this. Both non threatening and easily explainable items. She wondered what discipline was like here. It seemed like a legit place with professionals, supervisors and enough attention to keep them as such. Hopefully there wouldn't be any grits or dark back rooms.

She pinched the cherry off her smoke, putting the half back in one of the many hidden pockets and linings she stitched into her pack and clothes. An attempt to ration, then cleaned the sill and put everything in her pack, deciding it was time to eat. She wanted very much to stay under the radar, that meant not being late and such.
Re-adjusting her baggy clothes to conceal her figure, she stepped outside, made sure the door was secure and moved down the hallway past some of the other kids. Somewhere deep down she was afraid of having an episode here without some friends for protection. She had to be self sufficient and was decent at it, but every time she figured a place out her paperwork was pushed somewhere else to be another persons problem. She could feel the familiar spine tingle that preceded her most disliked symptom. Hopefully she was somewhere low key when it hit. She clutched her journal, tightly...

Konstantyn Alphonse de La Fontaine

Teal, sharp emotionless eyes bored into Zyslo's as he questioned about his name and yanked on his shirt. The male turned to face them and he crouched down to get in eye contact, and in response to the dark gleam in "Mylo's", or, "Zyslo's" eyes, there was only emptiness. Pink hair falling adjacent to his eyes, he stayed silent until the male was done speaking. Konstantyn extended his own hand and gently shook it, a bit wary. Opening his mouth to speak, he spoke with his usual soft-spoken, monotone voice.

"My name is Konstantyn Alphonse de La Fontaine. Feel free to call me Kon or Konstantyn." Pausing briefly as his gaze strayed off to the now empty stage, he inhaled to continue. "Mylo, you say? You two have interesting names." As quick as lightening, his gaze sharply dashed in Zsylo's direction, no longer distracted, and now all focus on this green-haired kid. "In honesty, he doesn't seem like a brat to me, and don't you worry. I don't hurt people; well, rather, I barely fight, because for me, it's useless." The pink haired boy shrugged without a care in the world. "What's the point of it, anyways?"

Mental note: this kid is like a tsundere. It's kind of cool.

"Again, I honestly don't care if you beat me up or not. That is your choice and not mine. If it's peace you want, you got it. If you want to hit me, you got it. I'm the type of kid that goes with the flow." Konstantyn explained, voice monotone and painless. The Polish/French boy ran a hand through his pink hair and let out a small sigh, glasses slipping down from the bridge of his nose to nearly the tip. "By the way, your potty mouth is interesting. I'm not being sarcastic or anything; simply stating. Sort of appealing, well to me at least, badass attitude." Might as well compliment them if they're going to be his friend; well, compliment Mylo. He honestly was a bit confused when it came down to Zsylo.

Eyes straying for a fraction of a moment, he saw that barely anyone else was in here. Perhaps he should get to his dorm soon? Eh, who knows. Maybe by the time he gets there it'll already be dinner time. Well, remember to sit at the end of the table, he would remind himself often, considering he liked to be secluded. It was a comfortable feeling, to say the least, but that was just him. He's just generally a weirdass.

Well, he's also a smartass.

(Sorry it's a bit short. I'm so braindead.)
