With a sigh and a slight yawn, Knoll continued his walking. He came across a few students, trying to figure out some work that a mage had assigned the,. He didn't do the work for them, he he showed them some runes that may come in handy. He nodded when they gave their thanks, and he continued. He loved it when little kids were eager to learn. It meant that this world havea better chanc, once they stopped the nightlords, and returned the workd to peace.
Knoll entered the library, and checked out a few books on chemistry, and began reading them intently

Staying safe and mastering my abilities, Ivan thought to himself, sounds fair. Though he still didn't trust the problem she had referred to earlier to be as simple as a communication problem. When she asked for his name, he hesitated again. To join up with The Underground Railroad, though safe, still meant he had to get far more involved in all of this than he felt comfortable with. And if he regretted his choice - what was he then left with?
"Ivan," he said, at last. "My name is Ivan. I would consider it an honour to join your organization."

After about thirty minutes of walking, Ciel stopped in a alleyway scanning the surrounding area to make sure there weren't any witnesses. She stopped at what looked like an ordinary deadend, but it held a secret. She pushed a brick further into the wall, and whispered a passcode to a guard on the otherside. The guard, using his powers, moved the bricks aside to reveal a hidden tunnel leading somewhere underground. Ciel turned to Sapphire and Ivan. "Come on."
Ciel led the group down the winding and mysterious tunnel for a good while with a flashlight till finally the tunnel began to change. It started to branch off into crystalized tunnels, and further down it, the tunnel branched off into caverns. The whole base of operations was a huge secret underground cave system with natural air venting in and out. The largest natural cavern even had a one hundred foot waterfall with pure clean freshwater pouring in from the local river. The great thing was no one knew it existed, and with the combined powers of several Nightbanes, the whole place is shrouded with a barrier to protect it from detection. It was also very beautiful. The crytals as well as the stalagmites and stalagtites, all ranged in a huge variety of colors. Ciel absolutely adored the place. She did grow up here after all. She called over some attendants to help Sapphire and Ivan get settled. "Well, I'll come back to check on you guys later. Bye~" she said with a wave. "Now, to figure what's going on."

"I-I'm sorry sir, I got the information from a reliable source!" the intel officer squeaked as Jason's grip tightened.
"Sorry! Sorry doesn't bring back the men I lost cause you told us there was a Night Prince there and we ended up getting our asses handed to us by an Avatar!"
The intel officer became visibly more shaken upon hearing this and continued to squirm in Jason's grip. He felt a hand on his shoulder and turned to look at Blue Leader Kyle Summers. "Come on Red, let him go. This was likely a set up. The informant probably didn't know he was giving bad info. Ruffing him up isn't going to bring back Grant and the others," Kyle said softly, but sternly. Kyle wasn't a big man by Jason's standards, but he was big enough at five ten and two hundred sixty-two pounds. He too was well built from years of fighting and was enhanced by his supernatural nature. His gear was similar to Jason's, but his face wasn't as stern with softer lines framing his face and light blue eyes complemented by blonde hair.
"Tch, fine," Jason growled dropping the intelligence officer and telling him to "beat it" before he changed his mind.

Giving Ciel a polite nod as she left them, he turned his attention to admiring the place they found themselves within. A brief thought of 'would I even fit in here' passed his mind, but he turned it away. The answer was quite obvious, and he hoped he would be able to find an escape route when his time was up. For now, however, he stayed as calm as he could, casting nervous glances towards the blind girl every now and then, if only to make sure she was still there.
