Dimah Lafleur

Age: 58
Race: Human
Occupation: Proprietor of the Spice of Life Cafe, Minor Nobility

Matriarch of the Lafleur family, Dimah originally hails from Dairsmuid, Rivain where she was the youngest daughter of a middling noble family. However, after numerous bad investments on their part, and their dabbling in the more illicit trades, Dimah sought to make her own fortune elsewhere. She ended up in Val Royeaux and opened a cafe in the Garden district of the city, specializing in Rivaini styled cooking and, of course, pastries. It was where she feel in love and began her own small family. Dimah is the heart and soul of their family and is known by both her children and her customers to be a very warm and welcoming woman, though most know not to rouse her ire.

Aurora Rose

Age: 36
Race: Human
Occupation: Former Inquisition Captain, Mage Campaigner

Aurora Rose, birth name Rosabella DiMerenda, originally hailed from Bastion, Antiva, but since then has seen many places and experienced many things. She first began as a runaway mage and apostate in the City of Chains, and over the years built a foundation for the woman she is today. She even founded the mage underground, and after the mage-templar war broke out, reports have been made of her group saving wayward mages and taking them in, until the destruction of the Conclave and the arrival of Corypheus, after which she found herself the captain of the mages during their war. After the war wound down and the Inquisition proved victorious over the Darkspawn magister, Aurora and what was left of her mages scattered. Now Aurora works in Val Royeaux as a diplomat of sorts for the mages.

Hector Lafleur

Age: 56
Race: Human
Occupation: Chevalier (Captain)

Hector is a career military man, having served in the Chevaliers with his brother since he was young. In his years, he's earned a reputation as a man who will not accept anything less than perfect, and a man whose respect is hard won from his subordinates. Meanwhile, to his superiors he has an exemplary track record and is someone who can get things done, and have it done right. He adheres closely to the mantra of honor and service, and does not take kindly to acts that dishonor the Lafleur name. To most of his family, he is a tick bit looser though not necessarily affectionate. However, he has his own way of caring for his family.

Jean-Louis Lafleur

Age: 61
Race: Human
Occupation: Chevalier (Lieutenant)

Like his brother, Jean-Louis is a career Chevalier like their father before them. Unlike his brother however, it's easier to get on his good side, and laughter isn't a foreign concept. Still somewhat of a difficult character, he's easier to get to know, and once he likes someone he's far more open than his brother. A side-effect, he lacks the level-head that his brother is known for, and has a brash streak. While a good Chevalier, he is a bit unpredictable, which is why his brother outranks him. There's also the fact of his open racism for elves...

Ashton Riviera

Age: 42
Race: Human
Occupation: Kirkwall Guard Captain

The illustrious captain of the guard for Kirkwall, Ashton still loves to run his mouth. However, from a simple shop owner to the Guard Captain, Ashton has won each and every accolade he earned. Under his direction, the bandit element in Kirkwall is all but gone, and even the relations with their Elven Quarter is far better than most-- going so far as to even accept their first elven guards into their ranks. However, things have not been easy for Ashton, as during the war with Corypheus he had lost his wife, and for a few months after slipped into a deep depression. He pulled himself out of it though, just in time to see the city go under siege due to the Red Templars. However, Ash and his guard remained, and he sees to it that the City of Chain bends, but never breaks.

So begins...
