"Everything changes when I sink in to the water - I become a different person. I'm happy for once."

The Basics

Full Name: Chloe Skylar Huntingon.
Age: Eighteen.
Birthdate: 19th of July.
Gender: Female.
Godly Parent: Poseidon.

Personality

Favorites
Color: Teal.
Food: Digestive biscuits.
Drink: Sex on the Beach.
Music: No real preference, but instrumental is nice.

Chloe is confident. That's the first thing that you will notice about this girl. She's one of the most confident people that you will ever meet, and she loves a challenge. She's one of those girls that loves to take a risk, in any situation. She's the sort of girl that would jump out of a plane at 15,000ft. She's the sort of girl to try things that no-one else will, drugs, food, whatever She's the sort of girl that will stick up for herself in any situation. She's also swum with sharks too, but that was because they were in her territory of the Southern California coast line. Swimming is her all time favourite passion, frankly because she's the daughter of Poseidon. Some could say that it's cheating, but she can swim up and down the lengths of a pool faster than anyone that she knows, and she has to be in the water at least once a day. The girl knows what she wants, and she'll always try her best to get that. If it's a new pair of shoes, she'll save up the money to buy that from her small salary job. If it's a faster lap time, then she'll practice and practice until she can do it right. She's very strong minded and strong willed, and she'll probably be the first person in a room to say - "Why don't we do something crazy tonight?" However, she can be a right bitch. Sometimes just because she's in a bad mood, she'll push away those that she cares about, just to be on her own. It's nothing personal, she just doesn't like people being around her when she's angry.

History

First Memory: The first thing that she remembers of her life, wasn't anything special. One night, she came home from school, and her mother was doing her usual; high on the sofa. She asked her mother if she wanted anything, and she asked for a cup of tea from the five year old. So, she switched the kettle on and got everything ready, but when pouring out the tea, she burnt her hand. She quickly ran over to the water and ran her hand under it, and the pain instantly vanished.
Relationship with Mortal Parent: Chloe hasn't seen her mortal mother in years. She's lived at Olympus Academy for Demi-Gods since she was six years old, because her mother was unfit to look after her. She doesn't remember much about her mother, because she was taken away from her at such a young age. The Academy has always felt more like her home than where she grew up, and she's trying her best to eradicate any memories of her previous life.

From the day that she was born, Chloe Skylar Huntington was a strange child. She grew up with no father, her mother always telling her that he was a stupid guy that walked out on them six months after she had been born. She never spoke very highly of her daughter's father, just because she knew exactly who he was. Poseidon - the Greek God of the sea. She was just a girl passing through that he decided to sleep with after getting to know her, and he stayed with her thought the pregnancy. But then, he was called back to Olympus, thus leaving her with a little girl that she didn't want, but knew that she had to keep. She didn't want anyone else looking after a demi-god and not knowing why the hell she had powers, so she had to keep her child, raising her on whatever money she had.

Chloe didn't grow up with anything special, but she always had food on the table after school, and clothes to wear when she out grew her old ones. But she was never bought anything spur of the moment, except the occasional chocolate bar and she was never given the affection most children wanted from her mother. As she really didn't like her daughter much, Karen, as Chloe used to call her didn't care much about the child, and she would just spend most of her days smoking in the kitchen and letting the girl get on with things on her own. However, on one cold November night, things got slightly worse in her life.

When Chloe was only six, her mother began to damper in drugs, and one night, she took way too much. On the 23rd of November, the young child was plucked out of bed at almost one in the morning by her mother and was shoved into the car. Chloe was still in her own little dream world when she fell asleep in the movement of the car, and she was only woken up by the car door opening, the cold air hitting her face and by the salty smell of the crashing waves of the sea. Her mother practically dragged her over to the sea and then into it, this being the first time the child had seen a beach. With the drugs in her system, the uncaring for her child and the hatred for the man that she loved over flowed, and she tried to drown the girl in the sea to get back at him for ruining her life. Chloe doesn't remember much of this, only that her mother was trying to kill her and that she heard a deep voice, telling her to run forward into the sea. Then, she collapsed.

The next thing that she remembered was waking up in the Academy. The girl was told everything about herself, and her heritage, and where she was, and she found out that she had been carried by the sea to the Academy's lake borders her father, obviously saving her from certain death. She knows that she can control the power of water, and she can do so in the pool of the Academy. Sure, she gets reprimanded for using her powers at appropriate times when she's practicing on her own, but who cares? Life gets boring when you've been stuck in a large house for eleven years without normality. After eleven years though, she has been taught So, she's been at The Academy since the age of six, waiting until the time came when she was old enough to study.

So begins...

Chloe Huntington

Chloe wasn't looking forward to the day at all. She had woken up on the wrong side of the bed, and was going to be staying there for the rest of the day. She hated waking up in a bad mood; it happened quite often, but she still hated it. She grumpily crawled out of bed and threw onthis, and begrudgingly made her way out towards the lake. She barely even noticed that Everlie was sitting next to the glistening water, with her head buried in another book, because her eyes were so focused on her goal. Water. There was something about the water that made Chloe happy, and when she woke up in a grumpy mood, her first stop was always the lake, for a swim. Her eyes were half shut as she stumbled towards the water, using her other senses as a guide. Her bare feet touching the grass, feeling it get damper as she stepped nearer and nearer, the soft sent of the reeds getting stronger and stronger, and the sound of the water lapping against the shore.

Soon, she opened her eyes properly, and was standing next to the lake. She pulled off her tank top and shorts, and dove straight in.

The water had never felt better; the soft touch of the water against her bare skin made her smile under the water, and she opened her eyes for a brief moment, taking in the vast beauty of the undersea world. She was of two people at Olympus Academy who was able to see this beauty, and it never failed to awe her. She didn't need to return to the surface for air, but she did so slowly, already feeling much better than she had a few moments ago. As her head broke the surface, she had to close her eyes once more for a moment, the sun blinding her momentarily. When her eyes reopened, her face contorted into one of shock.

"Oh shit! I'm so sorry Everlie! I didn't mean for my dive to splash you!"

William Hawk

Will wasn't one for sleeping in late- it left no time for him to go on his wooing patrol. He was usually up at the crack of dawn, even on the weekends, spent about two hours in the bathroom getting himself ready (he had to look perfect of course, if he wanted to gain anyone's attention), primping his hair so that it was perfectly straight, and getting dressed into the exact right clothes. Today, it was a casual pair of jeans, a white t-shirt, and a red checked shirt thrown over the top, open of course. His leather jacket was slung over his arm, and he sauntered out of his cabin, whistling a little tune that had been stuck in his mind for the last few days.

He slowly made his way out of the cabin and towards the grassy area where he liked to socialize before the day's happenings. There was usually one or two people sitting there, someone that he could talk to, possibly flirt with if they were female. He looked around briefly at the other students around him, rushing to early classes, barely balancing their books. He made it a thing of his never to carry books. He didn't need them, there were usually spare ones in the classroom, along with paper, pens, ect. The song on his lips slowly came to a halt as he turned the corner, and saw the two blonde females sitting on the grassy knoll. A small smirk appeared on his face, as he thought to himself that his unsuspecting half-sister was going to get a small surprise. He tried to be as quiet as possible as he made his way towards the blondes, behind them of course, and he quickly jabbed his fingers, gently of course, into Ava's sides. The look on her face was priceless.

"Oh Ava, I am so sorry. I didn't see you there. Finger's must have slipped." He tried to control his laughter, giggling to himself for about a minute, before his mind truely registered the other blonde laying casually on the floor. "Why hello, dear Nina. What's a pretty little thing like you sitting out here on your own for? I mean, without male company, of course."

Lukas Tricon

Lukas was finally finished. He had been up half of the night at his anvil, concentrating on his newest project. It had popped into his mind suddenly in his dream, and he woke up at three AM, ready to start. Of course, it wasn't probably the best idea, knowing that he had classes to attend the next day, but this was more important than that. The bracelet in his hands was his best piece of work, and he really hoped that Clover was going to like it. She was definitely going to appreciate the work that he put into it, he knew that for sure, but he just didn't know what she was really going to think. Okay, his mind was getting jumbled now. Luke took a deep breath in to try and calm himself, before he get ready to leave.

Soon enough, he was jogging around the entire campus, looking for his beautiful girlfriend. He looked by the lake, the training circle, the mess hall, everywhere. But she was nowhere to be found. Why was this girl so difficult to find? He dragged his hand through his messy mop of hair, before then coming up with another plan to find her. Nova would probably know where she was, he was good when it came to finding people, and the two of them were friends. Now, where would his twin be?

It was easy for him to find Nova. All he really had to do was close his eyes, and think. He could hear the birds in the background, and could feel the pages between his fingers. His brother was obviously reading. And where would he usually go to read, that was outside? "The courtyard." The brother's had a link that was special - most twins did, but maybe it was heightened because they were demi-gods. He didn't know, but at least he knew where his brother was. He made his way towards the courtyard at a slow jog, incredibly excited at the gift for his girlfriend. When he found his brother though, who happened to be with him, but the very person he was actually after. An even bigger smile appeared on his face as he walked up behind the redhead, slipped one arm around her waist, and the other one slipped the bracelet onto her left wrist. His lips pressed a soft kiss onto her cheek , and he whispered two words softly into her ear; "Happy anniversary."

Everlie McCallister

For a while, all was peaceful; all was calm and quiet. But that silence was soon broken by a large splash. Water cut through the air like shards of glass, before falling on Everlie. The girl flinched at the cold and her eyes snapped shut out of reflex. Upon reopening them, Everlie sought out the cause of the splash. Her amber coloured eyes quickly caught sight of Chloe Huntington.

A small smile graced Everlie's lips as she looked at the girl "It's alright Chloe. I'm...fine, just a bit wet." Her smile turned to a smirk. "Besides, I can't exactly hold it against you, can I? You're a daughter of Poseidon. You spend so much time in the water, I'm surprised you haven't grown gills and a tail. I might just have to start calling you Mermaid Girl from now on." Her words were teasing, and the glint in her eyes was mischievous.

Juliette Halliwell

As the song played on, Jules couldn't help but start dancing in place as she listened. Her eyes were closed, as they always were when she listened to music. [I]Break out! Break out as we escape through the window! Head for the car and never look back! Singing, singing! Break out! Break out! Our time has come and we've got these big city dreams![I] Alex Gaskarth's voice flooded her senses as the song came to an instrumental solo.

When another voice broke through to her mind, Jules jumped and spun around. "Nyahaha!" Upon seeing who stood before her, Jules smiled and pulled out her earbuds. "Of course I'm listening to good music. I'm a daughter of Apollo. Bad taste in music would bring shame to me and my father! No need to shun me." she held up her hands and a chuckle Rose from her throat. "Did you doubt my musical tastes Peter?"

A moment later her dark brown eyes were drawn to yet another voice. It was Danni. A daughter of Ares. "Heu Danni!" she smiled. The girl was cool, and seemed like she was fun. She also seemed like a lethal weapon when she fought. Of course, with her parentage, it was obvious why.

(sorry it's so short. I'm at school writing this on my phone. I just had to get a post up)

Chloe Huntington

Chloe felt terrible. It wasn't like her to feel sorry about something, but this was one of those times where she actually did. Everlie was just sitting there quietly and peacefully, and she had ruined that. "Oh god, shit, fuck. I really am sorry." She rambled on, climbing out of the water as quickly as she could, wrapping her blue towel around her. "Give me one minute, okay?" She spoke quickly, pausing for a moment to laugh at the smart girl's comment. "I really should be a mermaid, shouldn't I?" She grinned, before running off in the direction of Boone's classroom. Everlie would hate to be late for a lesson because she had to change, and it being Chloe's fault, she felt as if she had to help. She ran passed the group of women and Will on the grass, probably flicking them with water as she went, through the courtyard, interrupting the romantic moment happening, and into the school.

"Boone?" Booooone?" She called as she rounded the corner into the hallway where his classroom sat, and seeing the door open. "Boone? Boone! Bo-- I mean, Mr Keating!" She said as she slid into the classroom, literally, and saw Miss Caspray there. She frowned for a moment at the new teacher, still not fully accepting her into the academy, before she turned to the man that she saw more as a brother than a member of staff. "B--Mr Keating, I dove into the lake, splashed water on Everlie. Well, the water just jumped out, it wasn't really my fault. Anyway, gonna' be late to class. Don't fail us? Thank you so much! You're amazing." Her arms flung around his waist in a cheeky, wet, rushed hug, and then she was out of the door once more, leaving only a puddle of water where she had been standing.

She ran back through the courtyard, through the group of friends, and back to where Everlie was sitting. "Right, sorted out being late to class. Again, I'm so sorry!" She huffed, bending down onto her knees, trying to catch her breath.

Will Hawk

Will couldn't help but continue to laugh as his half-sister's reaction to his tickle, the Southern accent in her voice showing how annoyed at him she actually was. "Awh, babe. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you so much. Don't really want you dying of a heart attack now, do we? You're too pretty for that." He winked at her, before again turning his attention back to the innocent young blonde laying on the grass. Ava didn't understand how he felt about Nina - she wasn't like any other girl that he knew, or had been with before in the past. She was different. He felt... he felt as if he wanted to make her happy, that he wanted to make her smile whenever he was around. Of course, he'd never admit that to anyone. That would ruin his reputation as "Will Hawk, seduction extraordinaire."

Before she could even reply however, Arissa arrived, and ruined his day. The girl was far too clingy for his liking, and he saw her more like a leech, clinging into her friends with her teeth, as if they were going to run away if she let go. Ugh. "Oh hi Arissa." He said, putting on a charming voice and bowing as she entered their conversation. However, as soon as she sat down next to Ava, his attention left her. She got as little attention as possible from him. She didn't deserve any, to be fair, but he gave her some. That's just the type of kind soul that he is. His eye gazed back over to Nina, as her quiet voice broke the air, and he couldn't stop himself from smiling ever so slightly. "Of course your pretty. No, you're more than that sweetie, you're beautiful. Gorgeous. There should be statues of you around this academy for us to pray to." He said softly to her, only those that knew him really well would understand the true meaning of his words.

However again soon enough, his attention was taken away from Nina and placed on the child of Dionysus that was walking past them. He felt a signature smirk rise to his lips as she saunted passed, looking sexy he had to add. "Looking good, babe." He spoke as she continued on her way, pausing for a moment to check out her butt. He made it sneaky of course, hoping that the other girls wouldn't notice. As soon as she was out of sight, he turned back around to the blonde.

"So, where were we?"

Lukas Tricon

Lukas welcomed her kiss with open... well, lips, and his arms tightened around her in a hug. "I hope you like it, darling." He said softly, looking into her eyes as she pushed that annoying piece of hair out of his eyes. How he was ever happy without her in his life was mystery to him now. He didn't feel the same when she wasn't around, when they argued, he felt as if half of his heart was ignoring the other, and when they were together, he felt as if he was on cloud nine. His eyes turned to his brother with confusion, when he entered their conversation, saying something about Pedro. Luke had no idea who Pedro was, and just stood there, with his lips clenched together, showing his brother that. His eyes turned back to Clove though when she explained the situation to him, and he shook his head. "I'm sorry Clove, but I have no idea who Pedro is. I don't read... those sorts of books. Thought you would know that now, after a year of being stuck with me." He grinned playfully, before placing a soft kiss on the tip of her nose.

He couldn't stop the small laugh from escaping his lips as he heard Nova's words, and he nodded slightly. "Yeah, took me most of the night. Still, perfection takes time, and this," He said, pointing down the bracelet, "is flawless." He grinned confidently, proud of his handy-work. He hadn't made something so... wonderful before, and he was glad that he had made it especially for the gorgeous girl in his life. He took in the words that Miss Caspray said, but didn't give her any sign that he had heard her. When she had gone, he turned once more to his twin. "Two man job? Later on maybe?" He shouted to the man that was already walking to his class.

"Yeah, I suppose your right. We should head off to class. But yes, I really would like to continue this later." He smiled playfully, placing one more passionate kiss on her lips, before taking her hand. "Shall we, my lady?"

BOONE RAZIEL KEATING

Rhea made a jab at his handwriting, and Boone had begun to defend himself in his typical Boone manner, but then Kitty had popped her little head inside his classroom and his entire persona had switched, followed by yet another flip of composure when he realized, once more, that Rhea was indeed still in the room. It was a hodge podge of inflection and a rather silly thing to behold indeed. "Oi, shut it, Xior! At least I - Kitty! Good morning! Er! Ah, Ms. Caspary! Ms. Capsary, good morning." While he was a big fan of the aloof child, he had to admit that he was relieved when she scooted off, ensuring him that she'd do well on the assessment. A tiny smirk found its way onto his face, and soon he was chuckling at the whole situation- both Kitty and he looking like fools. He covered his mouth with his hand like he usually did when he laughed and it naturally leads into him resting his head on his upturned palm. "Yes, and what can I do for you, Ms. Caspary? I'm assuming you're only here for paperwork and file management, right?" he snickered before hopping out of his chair and going over to the corner to make her a cup of coffee.

Before the woman had a chance to reply, however, in came slipping one Chloe who looked like she'd just crawled out of the sea. She howled his name from down the hallway and slid into the classroom door like a character in Scooby Doo and, upon seeing Kitty, she too switched from crying Boone to clucking Mr. Keating. He grinned as she frowned, their expressions completely opposite. Boone personally found the whole predicament quite amusing. "B--Mr Keating, I dove into the lake, splashed water on Everlie. Well, the water just jumped out, it wasn't really my fault. Anyway, gonna' be late to class. Don't fail us? Thank you so much! You're amazing." Suddenly, his smirk had been replaced by a bit of a scowl - though he did snort in amusement from the line "the water just jumped out" - and he protested through grumbles and semi-growls as the skinny child wrapped her arms around him in an unwanted embrace, leaving the man virtually soaked. "Chloe!" he growled, but she was already off and he lead a hand to his face in a very standard face palm. He tried to wipe off the water from his wrinkled dress shirt, but it was to no avail. He found himself chuckling again as he looked up at Kitty.

"I swear I'm not usually so popular."
he said simply, trying to walk to the corner where he had paper towels but slipping a little bit in the puddle of water on the floor that reminded him a lot of Peter Pan's shadow. Yes, it was rather suiting that Chloe's phantomesque comrade would be a pool of shallow liquid. He sighed as he grabbed the roll and wiped up the mess on the floor. He finally glided back over to hand her a mug - one of his own - full of the hot beverage.

N O V A

Ms. Caspary came by quickly, looking fresh and dewy, and greeted the three of them. He smiled brightly at her and offered a good morning of his own. It seemed like that would have been the end of that, but then she had gone on to say ,"Oh, Nova, Lukas? Now that I have you here, can I ask a favour? Could you have a look at the grandfather clock in my office? It's broken." Nova clapped his hands together excitedly, a small round "o" shape forming on his lips. "Of course, Ms. Caspary!" he cried, looking like a toddler who'd just been given an early Christmas present. He couldn't recall working on a grandfather clock before - never really got his hands on one - but toying with clocks and watches in general was one of his favorite things to do. He'd suddenly found his motivation for the entire day in that single "favor".

He got so wrapped up in his own brain from then on out and he sorta just… trailed off in the general direction of his next class. Nova was too far off from them to hear Clover's very simple, not at all Freudian explanation of  "I just meant that he reminds me of Pedro." He strolled by like a easy breeze, too stuck in his own head to realize that it may have been peculiar to walk away from a semi-conversation like that. The bracelet wrapped 'round the redhead's wrist had got his mental cogs working and then the promise of fiddling with that clock made it so that he was really, really itching to make something right about now. But, alas, History with Ms. Molly called.

He heard his other half shout out at him, "Two man job? Later on maybe?" and he was suddenly snapped out of his dream-like reverie. "Huh?" he asked, spinning on his heels to look at him, "Oh! Oh, right! Definitely. I'll catch you later, Lukas!" he shouted as well once he realized what his twin was refering to. "Bye Clover!" he added before turning and trailing off to the room that he was taught history in by someone only a few years his elder. When he got to the room, it was unlocked but empty, which really didn't surprise Nova all that much. He just took a seat and waited patiently for the day to begin, reading onward in his book until then.

Kitty

Kitty laughs along with Boone, but runs a hand though her messy hair awkwardly; is he laughing at her? Does she really look that tragic, right now? She shakes her head a little, and tries to brush the thought away. She'd never bothered about looking like a dope in the name of literature before, it's silly to start fussing over herself just for Boone.

He asks why she's come to visit him so early, and she's about to say that she'd come about something that's hot and wet and far more interesting than paperwork, but then realises that it sounds...extremely inappropriate, and before she can think of something else to say in reply, Chloe rushes into the room, spraying her with water as she passes. Kitty raises her hand to her, now damp, face. Now she looks even more ridiculous in front of Boone. Fabulous. Chloe speaks so fast that the whole speech becomes one long word, and Kitty's eyebrow raises of it's own accord; at eighteen, Chloe's maybe a little old to appreciate being called 'cute', but she certainly looks it right now, while she's dripping wet and clinging to Boone like a long-lost sibling. Chloe splashes her with water again on her way out, and leaves a puddle on the classroom floor where she'd been standing.

She grins back at him when he insists that he's not as popular as he seems, "Don't worry. I know it's all political." she gestures at the notice scrawled on his board, "They're probably just trying to sweeten you up for good marks." she quips. She considers asking him, if a hug buys you a passing mark, what will a kiss get? But quickly disregards the idea; he might think she's trying to imply something...Gods, why is she so tangled right now?!

She takes the mug from him gratefully, "Mmmm..." she breathes it in; Boone's private stash of coffee smells much better than the crappy, school canteen variety, "You're a lifesaver, Boone." She glances down at his shirt at almost snorts into her coffee - there's a Chloe-shaped patch of damp. "Here." she takes the roll of paper from him, "Let me." She dabs at his shirt with a wad of tissue. "So...how are you? it's a little awkward to converse with him while she's so close, basically groping him in the name of tidiness.

Sinclair

Sinclair is woken for the second time that morning by someone outside his bedroom door. He can hear them shuffling about outside before they speak. It's Rhea. He curses under his breath; he can't just ignore her and go back to sleep. "Hang on a sec." he calls out loud enough for her to hear him from the other side of the door as he heaves himself out of his nice, warm bed. Yesterday's jeans and shirt are lying in a crumpled pile at the foot of his bed, so he pulls them on quickly to cover his modesty before he answers the door. "Sorry. I was sleeping...obviously." he leans against the door frame, his arms folded across his chest, "Did Keating send you to get me? Or is this just a social call? Because you know I need by beauty sleep." he raises a questioning eyebrow at Rhea.

Lennon

Lennon has been awake for hours, but instead of getting up and out of bed, he'd just lain in bed, staring up at the ceiling. He can't quite gather the energy to face the others. His room is in the same hall as Sinclair's, and he hears Clover banging on the other boy's door - she does it every morning. It's routine. He always uses Sinclair's wake-up call as his cue to leave the comfort of his bed and start getting ready.

He has Power Strategy class first. It's assessment day, but he's not exactly sure what Mr. Keating has in mind. A display of necromancy? The thought makes him grin to himself; the others would freak out if a half-rotted corpse suddenly walked into the classroom.

He doesn't want to be the first one to class, so he takes the scenic route to Mr. Keating's room. The walk takes him by Everlie and a soaking-wet Chloe. "Mornin'." he pulls at the hem of his T-shirt awkwardly; he hadn't expected to see anyone on the way, and doesn't feel entirely prepared for other people. "You know that the two of you are...wet, yeah?" he asks. Obviously they know they're wet. He'd only mentioned it for a lack of anything else to say.

"We have class..." Lennon gestures vaguely in the direction of Keating's room."But, y'know, obviously you two have to get...dry?"

He passes by another group - Ava, Will and the others whom he less-than-affectionately refers to (in his head) as 'The Heathers', after the movie - but doesn't go anything more than glance their way. They're probably discussing hair-care products, or the centrefold of this month's Seventeen magazine.

Clover and Lukas are already waiting outside his room, but he stands a little ways away, with his back against the wall, gazing down at his beaten shoes instead of speaking to them. He wonders whether to offer her his lighter when she asks for fire for a cigarette, but decides against it; the Tricon boy wouldn't be happy about it.

They've only just stepped into the classroom, when Rhea rushing past takes him by surprise, just a little. When she stops dead, he follows her gaze down to the broken locket. Ouch.

BOONE RAZIEL KEATING

Kitty's oh-so-true proclamation of "You've never been student -friendly, Boone." served as an cue of her dismissal and the young pupil's arrival. Boone gave an amused yet somehow disappointed grumble of agreement, wishing she could stay and chat but knowing that work called for other such things. His students poured into the room, all taking their usual seats, and he ran a hand through his hair before wiping his left eye . My, they were rambunctious this morning. He just sat silently at his desk, waiting for everyone to arrive, watching each one of them trickle in with his tired stare. Clover, Lukas, Lennon, Rhea, Sinclair, Ava... that was it? Where the bloody hell were his students? Well, Chloe and Everlie should be off saying farewell to their fish friends, that he knew, but other than those two... He sighed, deciding that while he could be peeved at the students for coming late and wasting class time, he could also just not give a damn and cherish the down time. Less work and all the same pay, really. Just for good measure, he rolled over and scribbled, "No... seriously" underneath the original scrawling of "ASSESSMENT TODAY" but made no other move as an educator.

They were rather content yakking away. Apparently it was Clover and Lukas' anniversary and being that he had both of them in his class, lucky him, it was the hottest topic of the morning. Oh, teen love! He was sure this one was going to last a lifetime! He sighed again. Rhea came spilling in and dropped her locket onto the floor. The thing was busted - clearly - and a piece had slid under his desk. At first, he remained in his perpetual state of boredom but when he glanced up to see if she planned on picking the thing up, he faltered, a bothered frown tugging on his lips as he winced. Uh oh. Apparently the jewelry meant something to the girl. He was half afraid she'd broken down and would start to malfunction - pulling out a katana or something and going on a mass murder rampage. Instead, she just kind of deflated into her seat. He felt bad for the thing, especially so after Sinclair (weren't they supposed to be good friends or something? He'd always assumed so.) just kind of brushed her off. He picked up the piece and tried to make eye contact with her as he wiggled it in his fingers but, ah, she'd become too distracted with looking outside the window. Bad day for the girl. He pocketed it, vowing to simply return it after class.

Next thing he knew, Lukas and Sinclair were spatting off, flexing and unflexing their possessive ultra-macho masculine powers in front of Clover. He rolled his eyes at the dominance charade (he half expected the two of them to leap atop the desk, pull down their drawers, and reveal baboon buttocks to settle the dispute like true wild animals) and wondered if they'd even begun to think about whether it'd make the very lucky girl feel uncomfortable being bartered over like she was some object to be won. Again, he didn't have much of a desire to voice these opinions and would have gladly just tucked his opinions into his pocket, but he was pretty sure it was his job as teacher to keep his kids from spitting literal fire at one another. For the first time since everyone'd streamed in, he spoke.

"Ehem, Mr. Tricon," he began, fluttering his downcast eyes up to level with the kid, "while I'm very glad your big anniversary day has been apparently very hot so far, I would be much obliged if you were to... erm, simmer down a tad." he said. He finished it with passive shrug, as if his interjection was merely an idea to consider before he'd thought of another valid point to add to his argument. "Damaging Mr. Burton-Lake's luxurious locks on a day he'd actually dragged himself to class seems like a crime, after all." he drawled. To add to the point, he gave a feigned smile, a couple short claps, and a simple "Bravo, Sinclair." After he'd spoken, there was a bit of an awkward silence in the class and he chuckled. "Class, carry on, by all means. We're waiting on a couple of your peers to begin today. There's a group-evaluation to be done which means we can't do it without the whole class present. I'm sure you'll all pass with flying colors considering how well you all get along, though."

He grinned again. "Coffee, anyone? No? Okay." and then he continued to scribble nonsense onto paperwork he had to get done by the end of the day.

N O V A

MEANWHILE: The young boy had been sitting in the empty class room for entirely too long, reading in the relative dark. Suddenly, he perked his head up as if he were having a psychic vision. "Aw crud, Ms. Molly's history class isn't for a couple hours!"

Face palm ensued.

Portia

Portia's smirk falls as soon as she's out of view of Ava and the rest, and she raised a hand to her temple; her head is throbbing. She brightens, however, when she spots Chloe and Everlie. She gives them a smile - her first genuine one of the morning. "You two been skinny dipping?" she asks, pointing to their damp clothes. She stops when she reaches them, "I'll never understand how you two can be bothered to get up so early." she's vaguely impressed by the two early-birds; she can't do anything but blink before 8.30 am.

She suddenly realises that the three of them are late for class...that's hardly unusual for Portia, but for Everlie it's unheard of, "Ev? You know that you're late for class? And on an assessment day! Chloe and I must be a really terrible influence on you, yeah Chloe?" she gives Everlie a grin that shows she's only teasing. "I'm in the mood for a drinks tonight...but, when am I not in the mood for a few drinks?" she chuckles, "What do you think? Want to join me?" she asks.

"Anyway, I should go. I've got Cadwell's class." she gives them a final wave and then continues on her way to Battle Strategy. Jules, Peter and Danni are already there, and Keating is looking around, obviously waiting for the others. "Sorry, sir. Got held up." She stands by the other three, "Hey, guys." she greets, "You three are looking awfully bloody bright for this time in the morning." she observes.

Portia nudges Jules's arm, "Do you have a water bottle? I'm so hungover - I feel like the living dead." After her drink - a long one after which she feels marginally better - she turns back to the others, "Anyway, speaking of hangovers, I thought maybe we could have a few drinks tonight? What d'you think?" she thinks for a moment before adding, "Obviously we wouldn't invite Ava or Arissa or Nina - or any of that lot. Just the fun people." Portia plans on [i]spending some time[i] with Will, tonight - and having Nina and the rest of the prohibition group around would be counter productive.

Chloe Huntington

"I needed to wake up, and dive-bombing into the lake seemed like a good enough idea." Chloe smirked back to her friend, her hair already naturally drying in the sunlight. In a few minutes, she would be completely dry and wouldn't even need to change. "You know me, Evie," the brunette laughed, as they walked in unison towards the other girl's room, "I'm a daughter of Poseidon. We kinda' need the water to function properly." Her answer was pretty serious; she felt as if she did need the water to function properly, it was her life, and the only thing that really ever made her truly happy. Without the water... Chloe didn't know what she would be, but "happy" wasn't it.

"An extra towel could be helpful, I suppose." She smiled, sitting herself down on Everlie's floor as the blonde went to get changed in the bathroom. She looked around, taking in the quaint room, looking along the bookshelf that was sitting in the corner of the room. Her eyes glazed over all of the books - there were books that she had never even heard of before, by writers that she couldn't pronounce the name of up there, along with the minimal amount that she did know. "We best get a move on, Ev. Keating can't wait forever. He may just explode."

William Hawk

Will was quite shocked at Nina's reply. She wasn't one for skipping lessons, that was for sure, and he had to hold back a gawp in awe as she agreed to his proposition of missing out on ol' Cadwell's lesson and spending some quality time together. "You're seriously going to skip class, just to spend some time with little old me? Why Miss Collins, I'm shocked. I didn't think I meant that much to you, that you'd risk getting in trouble." He smiled at her, a hint of playfulness glinting in his eyes. He leaned over and took her hand in his momentarily, brushing his fingers over her soft, porcelain colored palms. "This is going to go well." He said, tracing one of the lines that ran down her palm, from the bottom of her middle finger, down to the bottom of her hand. Not many actually knew that he could read palms, and that was what he was doing now, staring intently at Nina's hand.

"Love is also in your future too, my dear. With... someone close to you. Possibly a friend. A friend turned lover. You'll be a perfect couple. Have three children, two girls and a boy. You'll be married too, until death." He looked up, at her and put her hand back down, gently onto her lap. "Well, that's what your palm say anyway. Who knows if it's true or not. I believe it's true though." He smiled.

However, his smile feel quickly as Miss Summers rounded the corner killing the romantic mood that he had tried to hard to create. "Oh Miss Summers..." For once, William Hawk was speechless., his brain being focused on the romance that he was trying to force, instead of coming up with quick excuses as to why they weren't in class. However, he was saved by Zeke, the son of Ares, and wasn't shown up in front of the woman that he was trying to woo.

Soon, he was following the blonde male, nodding discretely as he told them to keep their mouths shut and just follow. He walked quietly behind him, slowly reaching out to the left however, and he took the hand of Nina.

Lukas Tricon

Lukas turned to Clover and smiled innocently. "I didn't do anything, my dear. Like I said, all I did was knock a fly away. Didn't want a little old fly annoying your best friend Sinclair now, did I? Couldn't have that." He placed a soft kiss on Clover's cheek, making sure that Sinclair could obviously see it, before his attention was taken by the teacher in front of him. He didn't like Mr Keating very much, the man was a scary human being, and it didn't help with him being the child of the god of war, Ares. He shifted in his seat uncomfortably as the teacher scolded him for trying to set Sinclair on fire, and he nodded his hair apologetically. "I was only trying to get a fly, sir." He smiled, before Clover saved him, taking the attention of Mr Keating away from him. He let out a soft sigh as he sat there, holding his girlfriend's hand. The incident with Sinclair had bothered him more than it should have done, and he didn't like it. "I wish we could have stayed in bed today," he said quietly, stroking her hand with his thumb, "as it would have been a better way to spend the day."

Boys and girls weren't allowed to sleep in each others dorms, but that didn't stop most of the kids from jumping from bedroom to bedroom. Portia was obviously one for doing it, Will was another, and Lukas and Clover were just the same. They liked to spend the night together, even if it was just to curl up and sleep. Lukas never slept better than when his arms were wrapped around Clover. And contrary to belief, she didn't snore.

Luke nodded a brief hello to Ava as she arrived, but he was literally pulled into the conversation by his girlfriend, as she displayed his palms to the blonde. He made an effort to get more involved, and turned in his seat to face her. "What can I say? I'm a magician." he laughed playfully, before then turning back into his seat. He was a little more pleased by Sinclair's next comment about being a bridesmaid. That was much better - Sinclair standing behind them in the wedding procession, wearing the ugliest fuchsia coloured dress that Clover could find. "Oh Sin, I think you'd look lovely in a pink bridesmaid's dress. It'd set off the singes in your hair." He didn't turn around to speak to the male, only kept his eyes forward, a playful smile tugging at the corner of his lips. Yes, it annoyed him to the core that Sinclair wanted his Clover. But he couldn't stop himself from playing on it from time to time, annoying the other in return by kissing Clover in front of him, and making jibes like his previous one. He was a jealous soul, but was proud of it. Anyone who had Clove on their arm had to watch out for intruders trying to steal her, and he was just being overcautious.

Lukas looked over to Clover as she wrote on his hand, asking if he was okay, and then adding a heart. He smiled softly in her direction and lent forward, pressing a soft kiss on her forehead. "I'm fine. Just being myself, you know? Over protectiveness coming though. Don't want anyone coming between us, babe." He smiled, turning back ever so slightly to catch the eye of Sinclair.

If he was going to hit on Clover when her boyfriend was sitting next to her, and make little snipes at their relationship - this meant war.

Everlie McCallister

Everlie stood in front of the mirror and ran a brush through her chestnut brown hair. When she decided that she no longer looked like she'd been dunked in the lake, the girl looked over at her friend, who she found looking at the books. Ever loved to read, which was kind of obvious when you looked at her. Books were like an escape. You could leave one world and enter another without ever taking a step. To some, Evie's vast amount of books seemed a bit nerdy, but to her, it just seemed comforting to know that she could go on a dozen adventures without ever leaving her room.

As Everlie finished dressing she ran back out. "Keating? Explode? Well then, we'd better get going before we're cleaning him off the walls." She grinned over at the girl before grabbing her bag and walking out the door. The halls were eerily quiet as she and her friend made her way through them. "I wonder what he has planned for us today. Probably something resulting in injuries so he can stand there and laugh at our pain." She shrugged her shoulders, unkowing of what awaited her in Boone Keating's classroom.

"So do you do that every day? Jump in the water before you run to class, little miss Mermaid Girl?" She smiled at her friend as she stepped out into the daylight once more.

(I'll do Jules after some other people post so I have more to write about.)

Chloe Huntington

"I kinda' like him. Wouldn't want to be cleaning him off of the windows with a squeedgie." Chloe laughed, pushing herself up with her hands and feet, so that she was in a standing position. She picked up her bag off of the floor and followed Everlie out of her room, closing the door behind her with a quiet click. He flip flops smacked against the floor as they walked, creating an annoying sound as they walked. She hated the sound of flip flops against linoleum, but they were the easiest shoes to slip onto wet feet - converse didn't work, flats got stuck, boots were extremely uncomfortable, so flip flops it was. She had practice with these sort of things. "When I dashed into his class quickly to say that we were going to be late, it said something about an assessment on the board. We're obviously gonna' be using our powers on something. Hopefully each other!" She laughed, as they trundled along the corridor.

Soon, they were coming to the open door of Boone's classroom, and they walked in. It looked as if the class was waiting for them. "Oh Mr Keating, you didn't have to wait for us! We were on our way slowly, you could have started." She smiled childishly, walking over to him and nudging him in the arm softly. "Changed, have you? Hope I didn't ruin your moment with the blonde English teacher." She poked her tongue out at the teacher she saw as an older brother and then walked over to her usual seat, alongside Everlie, near Lukas and Clover. Ava, however, was sitting near the couple too, dampening the happy mood of the teenager instantly. She plopped down into her seat with a huff, making her disdain to the blonde highly obvious. "So, what are we doing today then? Do I finally get to drown someone? Oh, I'd really like that." There was a menacing tone in her voice as she spoke, and her head tilted to the side a little, so she could see Ava's reaction. Oh the joyful thoughts of drowning that blonde, over-confident, bitchy child of Aphrodite.

William Hawk

Okay, Will couldn't stop the laugh this time. "Virgin Mary's tits?" He chortled, nearly having to wipe his eyes from the tears that were growing in them from hilarity. Zeke was one of those people that came out with the most random things at the most random times, and this was one of them. And most of those things were fucking hilarious. "Oh Zeke. You do make me laugh." He smiled, calming down after a few moment of raving laughter. Comments like that were funnier to him than programmes where people hurt themselves jumping off of things being stupid. Little comments - the laughter pockets of life. He stopped as the dog tackled his friend and turned to look at Nina, a sad look replacing the happiness that had just drowned his eyes. "Nina, I have something to talk to you about." He sighed, and let go of her hand slowly, but only after giving it one last squeeze.

"Nina, I want to ask you to the dance," he began, looking at her with soft eyes, "but I'm not going to." He waiting for the reaction on her face, but didn't take too much notice. He didn't want to let anyone know that it hurt him not to ask her, to see her going with someone else and not with him, but it was for her own good. "I'm not... associated the best way - I don't have the best reputation, is what I'm trying to get through here. Coming to the dance with me... it would make people believe that you're my next "conquest" or whatever, and you're not. You're more than that." He kept his voice hushed. Even though Ezekiel had left, he didn't want anyone to over hear him. "I like you, but I don't want you associated with me as my next "lay", okay? So, I'm going to ask someone else. I'm sorry." He said, looking down to the ground.

Phase one, completed. Look like the good guy. Of course, Nina meant more to him than his usual comings-and-goings, but he still had his plan of getting the ladies to like him. The first step, was getting them to like you, and see you as someone noble, and doing things for other people - A selfless do-gooder. He just hoped it didn't back fire, and she wasn't left alone or something.

"Save me a dance though? As many as you can?"

Lukas Tricon

"You better be mine later." Lukas winked at her, playfully squeezing her knee as it rested gently against his, a romantic gesture of sorts to cheer him up.
"Thanks Ava." Lukas smiled as she complimented his handiwork on the bracelet. Even if he wasn't in the best of moods, or didn't feel right, a compliment was something that the eldest Tricon brother always adored. He never disregarded one easily, and he savoured each and everyone of them with a smile, taking them in his stride. He didn't like to brag, but he did love getting the compliments, and would fish for them slyly out of anyone that he could find. He felt his face wrinkle up into a contorted mess when Sinclair said that he was beginning to sound as if he had a crush on the long haired male. He turned around fully this time, and looked his "friend" in the face. "Now Sin, we've gone though this. I'm straight remember. I know how much you want me, but it's not gonna' happen, buddy." He smiled sarcastically, and then turned back around to face the front of the classroom. It was strange how they had all been friends at one point, and now they weren't. They had been a threesome, the closer of the two regrettably being Sinclair and Clover, but soon Luke has taken over Sin's space, and now the dynamics had changed; Lukas wasn't going to be the one going to the dance on his own, and watching Sinclair walk in with Clover on his arm - this time, the roles were reversed, and Lukas had her. And he was god-damn proud of it.

He couldn't stop the little "o" shape forming on his lips as Sinclair asked Ava to the dance - he didn't actually expect the male to ask anyone else. Maybe he was naive and stupid like that, but that was just him. He shared Clover's expression as she looked at him with surprise. He joked along with her as she elbowed him in the ribs, and then he turned to her, his face serious once more.

"Clover Alice Thurston. Will you do me the great honour of accompanying me to the formal dance?" He smiled, taking both of her hands into his, stroking them softly with his thumb. His hands were rougher than hers, because of his extensive work with them, but she liked them none the less, and that was good for him.

"Well?"

Sinclair

Sinclair gives Ava a relieved smile, "Thanks, Ava. You're a life-saver." If Ava had said no, he would have had to go around begging and bribing the other girls. "You know that the dance is the highlight of my year." he drawls, his voice thick with sarcasm.

When Chloe and Everlie sit nearby and Chloe makes a quip about drowning people - staring daggers at Ava as she says it - he kicks the back of her chair. "You bloody well will not!" he scolds, only half-joking, "Ava's going with me to the dance tonight...You can kill each other in the morning, if you must." He's not entirely certain that Chloe wouldn't drown Ava, given an opportunity.

Zeke's dramatic enterance makes him start; doesn't that boy ever just walk anywhere quietly? "God's Zeke! Shut the door a bit louder, please? I don't think that they quite heard that, up on Olympus." When Zeke buries his face in his arms and starts to shake, Sinclair feels bad, for a moment. Is Zeke crying?...No, he's laughing! He balls up a piece of paper and throws it acros at Zeke to get his attention, "Wondeful performance." he hisses, so that Keating won't hear, "Bravo!"

He inwardly applauds Keating when he mocks the happy couple. The guy had his moments, you had to give him that, at least. "Well, looks like Keating wants to take you to the dance, Lukas. What was that you said about being straight?" He'd say something else, but he's distracted when the teacher produces a cage, "You think he's going to put one of us in that?" he asks nobody in particular.

Clover

Clover raises an eyebrow, amused and surprised, when Keating does his terrible impression of her. She knows that it's not a personal vendetta, and in a strange way, she's quite glad that Keating is comfortable enough to take the piss out of her without fear. Some of the other teacher skirt around her, coddling her like she's made of porcelain and might crack in half if they say the wrong thing."Well, Lukas, it looks like you already have a date..."she gestures their teacher, and wonders, for a moment, what he'd look like in a dress, before she shakes the haunting thought away, "but, yeah, if you want to risk leaving Keating dateless, then I'd love to go with you, sure." She smiles at him, to show that, despite the joke, she's happy. Sinclair's final jibe at Lukas makes her roll her eyes, "Very clever, Clair. Not at all over-done or infantile. she counters, sarcastically, "Your wit is positively Wildean."

"Hey, Chloe, Ev, you just missed Sinclair's attempt at a seduction. It was quite a show." she grins, nodding at Ava. "But, speaking of seduction, what was that about a 'moment' with Ms. Caspary?" She can't imagine Keating hitting on anyone - the mere thought is enough to make her grin. "Poor Caspary!"she jokes.

Ezekiel makes his unexpected entrance, like a blond whirlwind, and she turns to look along with the rest of the class. She watches him for a moment, and is about to suggest that somebody go and comfort him, but then Sinclair throws a ball of crumpled paper at Zeke and she realises that he's just putting on an act; it's common knowledge that Zeke has a blatant disregard for rules.

None of them know for certain what Keating's assessment will entail - he likes to employ the element of surprise - but she hopes that it won't be anything like his last one. She'd ended up with splinters and cuts all over, and she doesn't want to look like that at the dance tonight. When Keating brings out the cage, she eyes it with interest. She laughs at Clair's suggestion that Keating might put one of the students in it, but it's a nervous laugh; she'd been thinking the same thing. "Well, he's not exactly the sort of person who'd buy us a puppy, is he?" she mutters back. She turns to Lukas again, "Definitely should have stayed in bed today."

Ezekiel Row

Zeke unsheilded his face from his hands when Sinclair threw the paper ball at him, an obvious smile was plastered on his face, he couldn't hide his amusement any longer. He turned to Chole, who at the moment had a slight annoyance with Ava. 'No need to get feisty.." he added. "I think Boone will have pleanty of feist to give us during the assessment..." He leaned back in his chair for a moment, as the class had started to entice itself with conversation, at this rate Boone would never start the assessment. " Why am I excited for this damn test?" he asked himself, he never applied himself much in the academic field. He had heard Everlie's voice while trying to relax on his chair. "Aren't you supposed to be in Cadwell's class?"

"Yeah, but I figured I could spend one day with my good old buddy Keat..." he responded back. "By the way you look quite lovely today..." he smiled back at her. The morning had already progressed well, and nothing so far had made him angry. "so far so good.." He looked back over at the group who seemed intent on discussing the whole 'dance' phenomenon, he realized he had no date, but the truth was that he was too shy to just ask anybody, of course the ideal person would be Ava, but considering how much she disliked him, he doubted that she would so much as glance his way as soon as he said it. " I can just forget about asking her, I'd be way too much of a chicken to do it...." He closed his eyes for a second. "Maybe Jules?...Nah...she attracts guys like flies on shit, she probably already has a date..."He ruffled a firm hand into his curly locks. "Then who?.." He began to look around the room, almost feeling a bit self-conscious, half the girls already had dates by the looks of things. He sighed for a moment. "Let me just think about this after class, I've got better things to do..."

"So....this assessment....what exactly are we doing?" Zeke started to share the same opinion. 'Yeah what are you planning Keat?..."

BOONE RAZIEL KEATING

Boone practically began to rear back like a feisty stallion when Clover had caught onto Chloe's prodding at this morning's, ehem, "moment" with Ms. Caspray. "Damn that girl and her big mouth." he thought in his head, giving Chloe a signature pointed stare. Next thing he knew, Sinclair had joked about an affair between himself and Lukas and he'd suddenly decided that his romantic life (or lack thereof) should be a nonexistent conversation. "Hey, hey! This is completely unprofessional." he chided, bringing both of his hands together in a cross as if to say "time out". "Ha, as if you've had a single professional day in your life." he contemplated. Truthfully, these were just the sort of things he didn't like to talk about, be it with pupils or not.

Luckily, his cage served as a damn good distraction. A knowing, somewhat sinister smirk found a neat little place on his face and it only broadened with each of the comments made about it. "You think he's going to put one of us in that?" - "So....this assessment....what exactly are we doing?" - "Well, he's not exactly the sort of person who'd buy us a puppy, is he?" - 'Yeah what are you planning Keat?..." -"I know I've said this already this morning, but the fuck is that?" - "Whatever you plan to do just spill it, they don't pay you to sit around and threaten students." With the class roaring their objections to the mysterious cage, he realized it was high time that he get the show on the road, a chuckle beginning the test for his class this morning.

He opened the cage, reached an arm inside, and pulled out a snow white fur ball that kicked and thrashed violently in his hands. He set it down on the stool and it instantly stilled, pink nose sniffing and long ears twitching before it finally sat up on its hind legs and cocked a head at the class. It appeared to be a rabbit - a cute, fluffy bunny rabbit. Boone clapped his hands together and walked away from the creature before turning to his class and giving a malcious smile. "Alright, class. This test calls for power control beyond simply conjuring a flame or spitting a bit of electricity. I'm testing you on practical application of your skills and an ability to diplomatically come to a reasonable decision. What you see before you," he made a gesture towards the rabbit, "is a 'cerberbunny'. It's a highly deadly creature that will be growing exponentially more dangerous and violent as time goes by. Its fangs are filled with lethal poison and its tempermant becomes increasingly more brash. We don't have much time before it begins to attack. It is, despite its appearance, a monster. I offer you a simple assignment: make a decision." he said, stroking his chin. "The only real problem comes in this: more than half of the class must agree on the choice to act out on or nothing can be done. Furthermore, if you're on the incorrect side, you will get a zero for this assessment." he explained, "This is not to say that the popular side is the correct side, though. If you play your cards particularly foolishly, the whole class could fail. Furthermore, you have to carry through with whatever your solution to the problem is."

He scratched his head and scrunched his face making sure that he'd remembered all of the aspects to the test. Somewhat confident that he'd covered it all, he nodded. "Well, I'll leave you to it. I'll be silent from here on out until a choice has been made and carried out." And then he sat in his chair and stared expectantly at his class.

N O V A

Arissa had very cooly asked the boy if he had grass stains on his pants followed by telling him he could use some excercise. His response? To chuckle sheepishly, a shy shrug rising from the blonde male. "Yeah, I guess a run or two might be beneficial for my cause." he agreed shamelessly, acknowledging his midly scrawny stature. He then took the time to check his pants for said staining and, indeed, found them. He smiled down at the girl. "Yes, it appears I have indeed managed to destroy yet another article of clothing." he said, not really sweating it. This sort of thing was routine by now for him, as klutzy as he was. He liked Arissa. She was wildly organized and a very active member of Olympus Academy, something that he could really appreciate considering the helter skelter that was his existence. She took charge and was incredibly passionate about what she believed in. She was refreshing, basically.

"I think I'm just peachy. How about you?" she had asked and he gave out a contemplative mew as he thought about it. "Ah, I guess I'm pretty peachy keen, too." he decided, answering honestly. He was nervous for class, but other than that, he didn't have anything to bother him. "Bet you're gonna kill this lesson today, huh?"

Chloe Huntington

Chloe kinda' zoned out for a while, looking at the cage that Boone had produced. She wondered what was inside, and she inclined her head to the left, furrowed her brow and squinted her eyes - in short, her concentration face. There was something oddly menacing with the cage, and with it being Mr Keating's class as well, menacing was expected. Her concentration was broken however by Sinclair's reply to her drowning comment. Ah, at least someone knew who she was directing that statement at. "Oh, all right Sinclair. Just for you. I'll only maim for now." She joked, smiling mischievously. Chloe didn't know why she hated Ava. Nothing had happened between the two, but for some reason, she really disliked the blonde haired girl. Then, Zeke appeared, and she didn't have to stay in that awkward situation any more, with Ava's eyes burning into the back of her head. Now that was a horrible feeling. He made an entrance, that was true, but honestly, she didn't really care. They were friendly to each other, but they weren't "friends." She couldn't help but giggle a little at his comment though. "But I like feisty. Feisty is good." Everlie's little comment about "dousing enough people for now," brought her back to their side of the classroom, and she smiled at the girl. "But please? Just one more wouldn't hurt!"

"The moment with Caspray?" Chloe turned around to Clover and nodded her hair. "Yeah, he was looking all sweet-eyed at her. Almost tripped over his own words too! It was a sight to behold." She laughed, looking back at the guy she treated as a brother, poking her tongue out at him playfully. Soon, he had began the lesson, and her attention was taken by him; this class was her favourite out of them all; it wasn't just the teacher, it was the whole concept of the class. When he revealed the bunny, she laughed slightly with confusion. "Erm... right. A bunny?" However, then, when the teacher when into detail about this creature, her smile dropped. "Oh. Not a bunny. Gotcha'." She turned to face her group of friends, plus Ava, and conferred with them. "Kill it? Ev, have you thought that he might be lying? Keating is that sort of person you know? He'd get us to kill an innocent rabbit to fail us, trust me. It seems too... passive, to be aggressive. I mean, it's barely moving." Her expression was puzzled. Now what?

William Hawk

Soon, dear William was being escorted to class by Mr Vincent, the woman-trapped-in-a-man's-body in his eyes. He took a step to the left, away from the two others that he was with as the teacher slung his arm around Nina's shoulders. He still felt terrible about the whole letting her down idea. Maybe it would have been better if he had asked her along to the dance. He dragged his hand through his hair and sighed gently, the hair thing being his little tell that he was upset. Sure, he had decided only to do it for an act, but underneath, it was more than that. Why had he been so stupid? She'd never agree to go with him now! William Hawk, you fucking idiot. He gave himself a mental slap, and closed his eyes for a moment, thinking about the other girls that he could ask.

Chloe? Nah, she's too interested in someone else. Danni? Nope, too masculine. Portia? That could ruin everything. Jackie? Ooh... Jackie... She's my best fri--

Thud!

His train of thought was cut off by something hitting him square in the face, and when he opened his eyes, he saw the open door of a locker. "Fuck... that hurt..." he spoke to himself, clenching his nose as they arrived at Cadwell's class. His hand stayed pressed against his already bruising nose as he stood there, not interacting with anyone. He now felt shit, was in pain, and was embarrassed. Brilliant day. He didn't join a specific group when told to by the teacher, or react to the compliment that he gave to every one of his students. He just stood there. No-one would want him in their group now.

Lukas Tricon

Lukas' eyes snapped over to Mr Keating as he mocked Clover's answer, and he glared at him. It would probably be bad to set his hair on fire too; two people in the space of fifteen minutes really wasn't the best idea. The thought did cross his mind though, but he just shrugged it off when the teacher apologized, letting Clover have her romantic reply. However, again the mood was ruined by Sinclair opening his annoying mouth, and spilling out words that threw his mood deeper into the deep end. "Well Sin, I could go with Mr Keating, but then I'd be leaving Clover all alone, seeing as you're going with Ava now, and all. But I think Clover will be better company, don't you?" He grinned, the maliciousness of his words lacing the air with cruelness. Okay, so, Lukas Tricon wasn't someone that you should put in the same sentence as the word "malicious" or "cruel," but in this case, where Clover was involved, he was incredibly protective. He knew that Sinclair liked his girlfriend, and that annoyed him. And being the man that he was, he would let this annoyance be known to everyone. He kissed Clover gently on the lips, letting his love flow through him to her, thought their touch. "Thank you." He whispered softly, pecking her nose before he pulled back. "You'll definitely be a better date that Keating, honey, believe me."

He then looked at the cage that was produced by Keating, and looked shocked as he revealed the white creature inside. He listen to the story that came along with the rabbit, something about a "cerberbunny", something he had never heard of before, and he looked at it in fascination. Anything new to him was awe-striking, and he wanted to figure out everything he could about it; and this creature wasn't any different. He looked around to Clover and leant in to her ear - "Bed probably would have been safer. Don't want you being mauled by the vicious bunny." He spoke quietly, a small laugh accompanying his voice. The bunny didn't look scary at all, but you could never be sure. One moment, you could be watching a television, and the next, it could burst into flames. Maybe the rabbit wasn't going to spontaneously combust, but in theory, it could grow and turn into some sort of vicious monster. He took into consideration to what Chloe said, shaking his head though as he did. "Yes Clo, he could. However, it could also be a vicious killing machine. I agree with Evie. We should kill the infernal thing before it goes all postal on us."

Lukas wasn't one for killing innocent things, but if Clover was in danger from being bitten by a rabbid rabbit, then he was certainly going to protect her. Even if it meant causing the rabbit to spontaneously combust himself.

Clover

Clover collapses into a fit of giggles - relief, surprise and amusement - when Keating unleashes the bunny rabbit, and her condition is only worsened by Lukas' absurd comment about being mangled by the rabbit; she's doubled over with laughter, tears of it smudging her mascara. "That rabbit's got a vicious streak a mile wide! It's a killer!" she quotes the old Monty Python movie breathlessly between fits of laughter.

She looks up, aghast, when Everlie insists that they kill it, "Are you serious? No way!" she shakes her head firmly. "I'm with Chloe; just look at it's tiny little face!" she coos. She flicks Lukas on the ear when he agrees with Everlie, "Don't be daft!" she scolds, "It's a rabbit! You can't kill it!" She gives him a look which clearly says 'Don't. You. Dare.' She's shocked by his willingness to kill it; usually he adores animals.

"I don't think it's a Cerberbunny...whatever that is. Cerberus had, like, fifty heads." she mimes having fifty heads with wild arm movements, "Remember, Summers told us about it last week? That rabbit definitely only has one head." She looks at the others with a quirked eyebrow, waiting for their counter-arguments.

Chloe Huntington

Chloe's head swivelled from the delightful conversation about how they were, or if they were going to kill a defenceless bunny rabbit, when Ducky walked in, and she couldn't stop the laugh from escaping her mouth as he rambled his elaborate excuse for being late. "I take it that you took the Hobbits to Isengard too in the process? That would explain the length of time." She spoke to him, ignoring the fact that he had spoken to the blonde bitch. Then, she turned back to their group and frowned. The conversations flew around her; half of the group saying that they should kill the bunny, repeat bunny, and the others saying that it was a poor animal who should be spared. "I still stand on the ground that Keating over there is playing us, and I don't want to stand around and watch you kill a little rabbit." She stood up from her chair, grabbed her back and walked over to Boone's desk, a smile on her face. "Mr Keating, sir, I'm not feeling too well, so I'm going to head back to my dorm and sleep a little. My answer is 'don't kill the rabbit, it's a rabbit for fuck sake.' That okay? Thank you, I'll catch up with you later! Bye!"

And with that, she whirled out of the classroom door.

Okay, so Chloe didn't really feel unwell. However, she didn't want to see the guts of a rabbit all over the classroom, and her ears filled with the screams of vanity coming from Ava, so she had decided to escape. An idea popped into her head about what she could do in her spare time, but before she went in the direction of Cadwell's class, she turned around to look behind her. Boone wouldn't follow her out; he knew her well enough to know by now that when she was gone, she was gone, and there was nothing he could do about it. Besides, he had her answer; she had done his test. It was just up to her classmates now to finish it. There was a skip in her step and she swung her bag as she made her way towards the Training Area. She watched the class from behind the trees for a moment, and when she magically caught her best friend's eye, she signalled for him to run away with her, only for a little bit.

She winked at him cheekily, before turning away once more, hiding behind the trees. Come on Chance. Come hang with me.

William Hawk

Will almost jumped out of his skin when he felt a weight on his back, and he flung his arms backwards, to catch the mysterious woman who was clinging on to him, like a koala onto a eucalyptus tree. "Well, hello Jackie. Yes, I was thinking, something which I don't do too fucking often. I actually think I've broken my bloody nose. Can you look? What do you think?" He paused for a moment as he showed her his bleeding nose, knowing that it wouldn't affect her like it would affect other girls. She wasn't scared of a little blood. Also, she was the only person that he would actually trust, with something like this, other than Nina of course - but she wasn't speaking to him. To every other girl in this place, he had to be the "macho man" that his reputation showed him to be, and he couldn't let that facade down. But Jackie knew him better than that, and he couldn't hide anything from her any more. He had tried, as hard as anyone had tried to do anything before, but she always found him out; but that was Jacqueline Christie for you.

"Yeah, 'lots of girls' are going to be swooning over me with a purple and bruised face, aren't they?" He sighed as she pulled back from inspecting him, and they made their way to class, slowly but surely. He felt slightly dizzy from his accident, and really wasn't in the mood to fight any more. His power was pretty crappy anyway - he was able to see every move that someone could make, his eyes being extremely sharp, but that was it. On a pirate ship, he would have been the one with the wooden leg, up in the crows nest on look out. That was all he was good for. "What about you, eh? All those guys after you? Anyone in particular yet, honey?" He nudged her playfully, but then winced almost instantly, the movement sending shocks up to his face.

Soon, they were in the lesson, and everyone was getting ready, except him. He was standing in the middle like a lemon, not knowing what to do. It was strange to see William Hawk just standing around not socializing with anyone, or flirting with girls, so it was a surprise to him that Nova cautiously made his way towards him. He didn't like Nova, purely because of his sissy-like attitude, but it was pretty ballsy of the guy to come up to him, and ask him to join his team. He reached his hand up and scratched the back of his neck awkwardly as they stood there in a strange atmosphere, trying his best to muster up words from the bottom of his stomach. "Erm... Thanks, Nova. But, I've kinda' injured myself. So, I might s-sit this first one out. But... y'know... thanks, man, for offering. Maybe when I'm feeling a little better?" He said, nodding to the guy, making the first friendly gesture he had ever made to him. When Nova returned to his group, Will turned around to Cadwell, looking sheepish. "Yeah, I've destroyed my nose. Is it okay to sit out for a little bit? I feel a bit... woozy."

Lukas Tricon

Luke didn't pay much attention to the two new people entering the classroom. He was kind of in his own little world today, too busy thinking about other things to focus on the comings and goings of other people. Then suddenly, he felt a sharp pain running through his ear, and he whipped his head around, glaring playfully at Clover. "Excuse me, missy?" He asked her, raising his eyebrow at her actions. However, his playful anger soon fell away as she mimed being Cerebus, the guard of the underworld. He laughed at her as she did so, and slowly put his hands on top of hers, bringing them down onto her lap. "Now now, Clover. What have we said about imitating mythical creatures? Yes, honey, it makes you look like a lunatic." He smiled to her, before placing another soft kiss onto her cheek, just to reiterate to her that he was only joking around. The bracelet on her arm glinted in the sunlight for a moment, drawing his eye to it, making him smile. He thought back to the expression on her face when she first saw it around her wrist, and in that moment, he realised how lucky he actually was to have such an amazing girl. Ironically, with her being the daughter of Tyche.

"You know how I feel about animals, Clover. I love them to pieces. But... I don't really want to take any risks." Lukas almost had to stop himself from spinning around and incinerating Sinclair then and there at his next comment. Lukas had always been a kind soul, but ever since he had started dating Clover, and Sinclair had turned more sarcastic and cynical towards him, Luke felt like he was slowly loosing that kindness, his patience, and his caring nature towards all living things. "All living things" now did not include Sinclair in his eyes. It was like the male was slowly trying to torment him, to turn him insane in his own mind, to make him feel unworthy of being with Clover by upsetting her with his actions. Sinclair knew all of the ways to push Lukas' buttons; that was what happened when friends became enemies.

"I still think we should kill it, even though I want no part in it. We could always use Sinclair as bait, to see if it really is a monster. If anyone's going to bring out the monster in someone, it's him." He smiled sardonically. His arm came around the back of Clover's chair, wrapping his arm around her shoulder like a normal boyfriend would do. He felt himself calm down more and more as he relaxed, and when he took her other hand into his, he felt completely at ease.

Jackie Christie

"Well, hello Jackie. Yes, I was thinking, something which I don't do too fucking often. I actually think I've broken my bloody nose. Can you look? What do you think?" He paused for a moment as he showed her his bleeding nose. Jackie studied his nose for a moment and her lips were closed tight not daring to open yet. She inspected it a little more and then touched it lightly. Her fingers ran down his nose seeing if she could feel anything that was broken or misplaced. She then wet her thumb down and whiped off a bit of blood that was on his nose and then she dried it with the back of her hand. "Doesn't seem broken, most likely fractured or something though. Very bloody indeed though." She said smiling at him. Jackie took great care of him, he was like the brother she never had after all, she protected him and he protected her. It was that simple.

"Yeah, 'lots of girls' are going to be swooning over me with a purple and bruised face, aren't they?" He sighed as she pulled back from inspecting him, and they made their way to class, slowly but surely. She could tell he was dizzy and she felt concerned but shrugged it off seeing as he wanted to probably seem manly to the other girls and possibly keep his options open. "Will, you're a stud..Even if you have a bruised face they'd still go with you." Jackie said. "What about you, eh? All those guys after you? Anyone in particular yet, honey?" He nudged her playfully, but she could see the wince that came right after it. "Oh, babe you know all the guys want this as their first choice." She said playfully and laughed slightly. "But seriously you have to ask..I know you don't like the fact that I'm dating your brother but he just so happens to be my date to the dance as well." Jackie said sighing. "I would go with you as your friend in case you had no luck with the ladies but Ducky might think of it differently and might dislike you more." She said matter of factly.

Soon they were in class and she noticed everyone around had none of them really paid attention to Will..Not even Nina. Nina was one of the girls who liked her Willy and honestly Jacqueline thought Nina was a good choice for William because she wasn't one to backstab. She thought for a moment and as William talked to Cadwell, she closed her eyes slightly and tried to look into William's past events of the morning alrhough it went back to the day he was born and then after a few minutes she found this morning and knew exactly what happened with him and Nina and many of the others. This was how William could never fool Jackie, Jackie would always know. Everyone was like a computer she go find a history button and search their personal history. Of course it was rather complicated to control sometimes. She reopened her eyes and after Nova talked to Will and left and Will was done talking to Cadwell she sat down and patted the spot beside her for Will.

She waited for Will to sit down and as she did she closed her eyes trying to tamper into Nina's past trying to know how she felt but as soon as she entered Nina's history things became too much for Jackie to even try and they made her dizzy so she blinked her eyes and kept them open. Once Will sat down she sighed. "Will, I know what happened with Nina this morning." She said quietly.

Chance Rundell

Chance had been standing around being bored out of his mind. He liked his team but things were so slow at starting and honestly he only really wanted to speak with Chloe. He liked talking to her and being around her, not just because he had liked her but because to him Chole was just a likeable girl. Sighing and running a hand through his hair he knew that soon enough that odd dance was supposed to be coming up and they could have a date to the dance if wanted. He hadn't heard of who was taken and who wasn't. He had his mind set on one girl to take and one only. If she said no then he would probably be screwed and torn on who to go with. As he stood silent for once he slowly wandered away and he walked over to Emilee.
"Hey, Em." He said with a half hearted smile. She was a good person he just wasn't all there.

"Hi, Chance." She said returning a smile.

"I was thinking we could use more people on our team and was wondering if you and Malcolm wanted to e on our team." Chance said and now waited for a reply.

"Yea sure, we'd love to join your team." She responded smiling and then she got her armour on.

Chance smiled."Alright, this should be good." He said and then walked back to the others. He watched Lloyd for a moment and was slightly confused by what the kid was doing then he knew and rolled his eyes. "Llyod..We don't have any children of Zeus on our side.. The child of Zeus that's in this class is the one over there flirting or somethin' with Cadwell." Chance said chuckling to him self.

That was when his eyes caught on the forest over there and behind a tree he could see Chloe and a smirk tugged at his lips and he knew all to well that she must have skipped Keating's class. Chance had respect for Keating but not many people liked him as a teacher because of how he was, Chance found him to be awesome though. He slowly slipped out of the group unoticed and as sneaky as he was and luck on his side he made it to the forest where he had coverage and made his way to Chloe.

When he got up to her he tugged her hair slightly and grinned. "Skipping class, tsk tsk. I expect more of you, Chloe." He said grinning at her. Of course he was teasing her but it was rather fun. "What will poor Mr.Keating think? You're going to break the guy's heart once he finds out you skipped his class for little ol' moi." He said chuckling. "He'll get extremely jealous." He spokeonce more letting her speak while flashing her a smile.

(Will edit in Nina and Emilee soon. )
